AWA President Travis Gray Presents AWA NO MORE DRAMA 2006, May 28, 2006, Houston, TX, Compaq Center
(The AWA logo comes into focus and then fades as rapidly as it appeared. We see the outcome of the Springs & Breaks War Games match. Low is lying on the mat after being just counted out and the entire Gray Team is celebrating in the ring as the Administration has just been impeached from office. We then see Lars staring a hole through Low as he's helped to the back by Richard.)
VOICE: "Since the reign of terror has ended, the AWA has struggled to get back to its feet. It's very members are again trying to tear each other apart, finding any way to end it all. Brothers by blood, enemies by heart, the Williams Tribe has waged a civil war for decades. As it nears another possible end, we find the methods are becoming more heinous that before."
(We see clips of Brian Williams trying to end John Williams' career and life and we see clips of John Williams trying to put and end to his little brother's life and career. Each attempt getting more heinous and viscious than the last.)
VOICE: "And upon walking down that lonely road of annihilation, once two powerful warriors fighting alongside each other, trying to end something they tried to rule and control, now turn their efforts of destruction on each other. Now these two Masters take Tactical measures to bury the other one along the side of the road, underneath the razor wire."
(We see Low first jumping Lars and Lars pissing on the grave of Ramona A. Stone. Low trying to end Lars' career and Lars trying to end Low's bountiful AWA career. Then, we see flashes of barbed wire and snippets of Lars and Low battling each other before fading to the voice again.)
VOICE: "Roaming down a dividing portion of the dirt road, we see two vagabonds amidst a fierce war, one that has been waging on for over a year, one that has been bloody, costly, and deadly. With the Lady of the Castle of Lee kidnapped by the warrior tribe of the Sensational Stevens, not even a devastating world war can end this dispute."
(We see Nathan Hawthorne-Lee re-emerging from the twisted mind of Nathaniel Henry Lee and turning once again against Brian Stevens, taking the AWA World Heavyweight Championship from his waist. We see Stevens react by kidnapping NHL's wife and then scenes of NHL trying to save his wife and attacking Stevens in the process.)
VOICE: "As with every road, this one will finally meet its destination. This destination is being marked by the Gray Lord as the destination to end the madness and put an end to the petty bickering. The end of this road will ensure that there will be No More Drama."
(Upon the end of the phrase, we cut to the arena and see a flashy and expensive fireworks display on the stage and then it travels down the isle on the ground and in the air to the ring and ends in the finale, emulating that road that will ensure No More Drama. The cameras pan the arena and we see a bunch of signs and people screaming about the AWA being in Houston. We switch to the announce table.)
HS: "We are live here in Houston, Texas with over 20,000 fans packed in the Compaq Center to watch as our AWA Stars try to end it all here tonight! I would like to thank everyone who is watching from the comforts of their own home and in the crowded bars around the country for joining us on this special pay-per-view the AWA is providing tonight. I'm Herb Summers alongside, as always, Frank Jackson and we will present to you the epic stories of these wrestlers as they prepare for battle tonight!"
FJ: "That's right, Herb. Tonight, we have four HUGE matches accompanied by a slew of other GREAT matches on hand tonight! Brian Williams will defend his AWA World Heavyweight Championship against his brother John Williams in a Last Man Standing match. It's more like a Last Williams Standing match seeing as these two want to kill one another!"
HS: "Then we have The Legendary Low trying to gain retribution against Lars Fredrickson, the LWA Universal Champion, for costing him total control of the AWA back at Springs & Breaks. Low will also fight for the honor of Ramona A. Stone in this match for all the disgusting things that Lars has done to poor Ramona, Lord rest her soul. That match will take place with barbed wire being introduced into this environment. It should be one match to remember for the ages."
FJ: "Then there's the war to end all wars as tonight two former AWA World Heavyweight Champions will go at it in No Holds Barred competition tonight. Ever since Brian Stevens has abducted Nathan Hawthorne-Lee's wife, Nathan has been on a mission to not only rescue the damsel in distress, but to also end the obsessive madness that Stevens keeps bringing to the table in an effort to maybe get a win against his arch nemesis, NHL. And with all of the things that Stevens has done to Sarah in the weeks leading up to this pay-per-view, I'm sure that's motivation enough to put the final seal on the deathwish that Stevens has so easily served up to NHL."
HS: "The Final Fourth match is one that was not advertised during the opening of this pay-per-view event. It's one that popped out of no where and one that was unexpected to say the least. Jack Happy, finally awoken from his accidental coma from last year's Vortex pay-per-view in a Candian Death Match against BlackJack, has emerged to shut the mouth of the taunting Hangman. We know the history between these two men and tonight, and in an attempt to completely end the dishonor that has been done to his private life, Jack Happy will face The Hangman in a match that doesn't come about very often in the wrestling world."
FJ: "A 60 MINUTES OF HELL MATCH!! VIOLENCE, HERB! VIOLENCE!!"
HS: "And a lot of it tonight. The United States Champion and the Cruiserweight Champion will put their titles on the line tonight, in the same match. Logan Alexander will face Jayson Price in a Two Fall, Title vs. Title match tonight."
FJ: "And Richard O. Dickenson III will compete in his first singles match ever against Orlando Ortega. After what Low has put the Triple O through, this is Orlando's only attempt to try to level the playing field to grab an attack against Low without anyone trying to hit him from behind."
HS: "The Tag Team titles will be also on the line when the Canucks face Hellraisin' Holly and some mysterious Man in Black tonight as well. With the fuss about who this guy could be, we can only assume that maybe he will reveal his face tonight. Either that, or one of the Canucks will do it for him."
FJ: "Doubtful. And speaking of doubtful, Malika will defend her No Limits Championship against Jai Williams. By doubtful, I mean those are the chances that Jai has at beating the unstoppable Malika tonight. Have fun with that one, bud."
HS: "And to kick off our show tonight, we have an Elimination match between 5 people that will grab a title shot against the No Limits Champion during the next Shock that we broadcast."
FJ: "I say we kick off this pay-per-view NOW!"
HS: And now, it is time for the Number 1 contender's match for the No Limits championship! The winner of this match will be in line to face the winner of the much anticipated rematch between now partners Malika and Jai Williams for the NL strap!
FJ: Yeah, but it isn't hardcore...
HS: If you would let me finish, I was about to say that this match, under recent information, has been switched to a NL rules match!
FJ: You mean...
HS: Yeah, there will be blood.
FJ: WHOOO HOOO!! RIGHT THE HELL ON!!!
HS: Sometimes, I worry about you.
(As the cameras flash to the ring area, you see that all of the contenders, with the exception of Tom Dudely, are standing in the ring. Each of them are in one of the four corners, staring at eachother. Dudely walks down to the ring, steel chair in his right hand. He looks up at everyone standing in the ring, and tosses the chair inside the ring. He slides in, and quickly gets to his feet. A.C. Smith is the first one to rush him, as he comes charging him with a lariat. Dudely sees this coming, and ducks the shot. He spins him around, and starts hammering away on Smith.)
HS: AND HERE WE GO!!! Dudely and Smith are wasting no time on eachother in this one!
(Dudely continues his assault on Smith, until he backs him into the ropes. He whips him to the opposing ropes, and comes flying back with a shoulderblock. Smith hits the ground hard.)
(Meanwhile, Brody Knolan and Phoenix are exchanged in a back and forth punching contest. Phoneix, being the bigger man, gets the upper hand on Knolan, and gets him into the corner. He then goes low, and begins shoulder charging Knolan right in the abdomen. The shots take the breath from Knolan, and it is evident with his gasps of breath as he tries to hold on to the top rope. Phoenix then lifts him up, and puts him on the top rope. Then, he goes to the outside of the ring area, and stands on the apron, behind Knolan. He then climbs to the second rope, and gets Knolan in a headlock, and leaps off the top, sending Knolan crashing to the mat with a bulldog!)
HS: What a bulldog by Phoenix! He just rattled the ring!
(As the cameras switch back to Dudely and Smith, they have taken the fight to the outside of the ring. As they continue to fight, the fifth, and overlooked, combatant, Miss USA, has grabbed the steel chair that Dudely brought into the ring. She slides out of the ring, and stalks Smith, who has Dudely laid up against the safety barricade, and is laying major boots to the chest. She sneaks up in behind him, and...
*THWACK!!!*
(Miss USA sends the chair driving down, right across the back of Smith! The shot stuns Smith, but not for too long, as he turns around to see who hit him. Quickly realizing that she was greatly oversized, she drops the chair, and begins backing up away from A.C. Smith. Smith continues to stalk her, and eventually gets his hands on her hair. He grabs a handful of her hair, and looks her square in the eyes, and then slaps his massive hand around her throat.)
HS: This doesn't look too good for Miss USA
FJ: NO! NO! NO! What are you thinking about, Smith!?!
(He goes to lift her up for a massive chokeslam, but his plans are foiled with a running chop block by Tom Dudely, who had snuck up in behind him. The shot bring the big man to his knees, and Dudely grabs the chair off the ground. He stands over him, and lifts the chair in the air, and brings it crashing down on his head!)
HS: What a shot delivered by Tom Dudely!
FJ: Thank God that Tom Dudely was there to save her! Fucking A.C. Smith. No wonder he doesn't get laid.
(Dudely steps over Smith, and goes over towards Miss USA, who is recovering on the ground. He gets her to her feet, and askes her is she is okay. She says yes, and Dudely helps her dust herself off. He turns around as if he is walking away, but spins around, and levels Miss USA with a powerful clothesline!)
HS: WHAT A DIRTY MOVE BY DUDELY!!!
FJ: HA!!! Brilliant!
HS: Jesus you change sides quick, Jackson.
(Dudely points to his head as to sign that he has smarts. His taunts get cut short, however, with a big baseball slide from the other big guy, Phoenix. The shot catches Dudely right in the jaw, knocking him senseless. Dudely stumbles away from the ring, as Phoenix slides out. He stalks Dudely before grabbing him by his head, and bouncing it off the barricade.)
(Meanwhile, Brody Knolan has gotten back to his feet. He slides out of the ring, and goes underneath it. A.C. has gotten back to his feet, as well, and goes over towards Miss USA. She wakes up in time to see him coming, and tries to get away from him. He chases her for a moment, until she slides under the ring as well. A.C. sees her slide under, and goes to chase her. He lifts up the ring apron to pursue her, and is met with a thick mist from a fire extinguisher! The shot blasts Smith square in the eyes, and the mist continues to come from under the ring. The mist stops, and Brody Knolan comes out, holding the extinguisher in his hands! He takes the extinguisher, and rams in into the chest of Smith, folding him over. He the drops the extinguisher, and hits Smith with a DDT. The blinded Smith slowly gets to his feet, where Knolan is waiting for him. Knolan gets a running start, and leaps onto the barricade. He rushes along the barricade, and leaps off...right into the arms of A.C. Smith. The failed attempt turns even worse for Knolan, as Smith smashes Knolan's spine right off the ring post. He keeps a hold on him, and follows through with a toss over the barricade, and into the crowd.)
FJ: That backfired for Knolan.
(Phoenix and Dudely continue to go at it. The two of them are now at the top of the stage, duking it out. Phoenix overpowers Dudely's shots with shots of his own, and Dudely stumbles towards the entrance. Phoenix grabs him by the head again, and this time runs him directly into the NMD display at the top of the stage! Sparks fly as he hits the electrical equipment, head first. Dudely then stumbles backwards, and right into a bubba bomb from Phoenix.)
HS: Tom Dudely looks like he is in trouble.
(Phoenix gets Dudely back to his feet, and they make their way back to the ring area. Phoenix goes to whip Dudely to the steel steps, but Dudely is able to reverse it, and Phoenix goes flying into the steel instead! Phoenix rattles the steps, and then falls to the ground. Dudely grabs a half of the stairs, and stands over Phoenix. He goes to smash him with them, but is caught out of nowhere with a low blow by Miss USA! Dudely drops the stairs in behind him, and folds over. Miss USA then hooks Dudely's arms, and hits a rather impressive northern lights suplex on Dudley, sending him smashing into the steps!)
FJ: Wow. Did Miss USA just suplex Tom Dudely?
HS: Yeah. Quite well too.
(Meanwhile, Knolan and A.C. are in the crowd, going at it. Knolan is running from Smith for a minute, then turns around and smacks Smith with a sucker punch. Smith stumbles backwards for a second, as Knolan grabs a beer from a nearby vendor. He takes a large swill of it, and then sprays the beer in Smith's face! The beer hits Smith in the face. Knolan kills the beer, and blasts Smith square in the forehead with the empty beer bottle!)
HS: It really isn't a good night for A.C. Smith. Or his eyes.
(The shot busts Smith wide open. Smith is able to get most of the beer out of his eyes, and is able to open them in time to counter a clothesline attempt by Knolan, and convert it into a neckbreaker. Knolan hits the ground hard. Smith then grabs Knolan by the head, and they go further out of view into the crowd.)
HS: Ladies and gentlemen, we have seem to lost Brody Knolan and AC Smith for the time being. We will try to get a crew back there to get the footage, but for right now, Dudely, USA, and Phoenix are having a brawl.
(The camera switch over once again, and you notice Tom Dudely, trying to fight off Miss USA. She delivers shot after shot to the jaw of Dudely. He blocks a couple of them, and starts firing back with his own. The shots stun USA, and she stumbles away from Dudely. As soon as Dudely turns around, he is caught with a powerful boot to the face by Phoenix!)
HS: Doesn't look like Dudely is making too many friends.
FJ: You see? They are teaming up on him! They know that he is going to win this thing, and they are scared of it! HA! COWARDS!!!
HS: Sometimes, Jackson, you are so far off.
(Phoenix gets Dudely back to his feet. The two squabble a little bit more, but are oblivious to Miss USA, who is climbing the turnbuckle. She looks over at them, and they look up just in time to see her hit a near perfect corkscrew plancha onto both of them!)
HS: WHAT A MOVE BY MISS USA!!! She is showing that she has some serious wrestling skills here!
(The three of them are laid out on the ground as the crowd chants out "Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!!!" Miss USA is the first to get to her feet, and she slides back under the ring. A minute later, she comes back out, kendo stick in hand.
(Phoenix is the first to get to his feet. She waits for him to get up, and turn around. Dudely, squirms over to the side of the aisleway. Phoenix staggers towards Miss USA. USA takes a massive, baseball style swing at Phoenix, but he is able to duck it, and get under her. He quickly lifts her up in the air, and drives her into the ground with an impact spinebuster!)
HS: Oh God! What a backbreaking spinebuster there!
(Dudely is able to grab the kendo stick that was dropped by USA. He gets to his feet, as Phoenix taunts the crowd. Phoenix turns around to grab the stick, and is met with the same object that he wanted to retrieve.)
*THWACK!!!*
(Phoenix is floored with a huge shot right between the eyes. As the cameras switch to the back, you see Knolan and Smith. Smith is pounding on Knolan. He gets him up, and throws him into a set of stage equimpent. Knolan hits the equipment hard, and lays in it for a moment. Smith uses the idle time to grab a steel chair. He gets Knolan to his feet. He winds up, and blasts Knolan with the chair! The shot takes him clean off of his feet, and Knolan hits the concrete. Smith then gets Knolan back up, and grabs him by the head. He walks him over to a wall, and smashes his head off of it. He isn't satisfied, however, as he gives him another shot. He continues ramming Knolan's head off the wall, until the wall gives, and Knolan's head goes straight through it. Knolan's unconcious body lays limp as A.C. lets him go, and he hangs from the hole in the wall.)
FJ: Is A.C. just going to leave him like that?
HS: I guess so. There isn't much more he can do with him.
(A.C. then makes his way back to ringside, where he sees the others fighting with eachother. He automatically picks out someone, Phoenix, and goes after him. Phoenix is barely getting back his feet, before Smith comes charging after him. He sidesteps Smith, and uses his momentum to send him into the ring post. Smith pings off the post, but is really unfazed, and comes after Phoneix again. Phoenix responds with a couple punches of his own as the two big men battle.
(Miss USA, who is just recovering from her spinebuster, is helped back up by Dudely. He tries to pull the same stunt as he did earlier, and goes for a cheap clothesline. This time, however, she is waiting for it, and ducks the shot, and delivers another low blow to Tom Dudely! He folds over, and Miss USA hits him with an X Factor facecrusher! Dudely is laid out on the ground. Miss USA then goes back under the ring, and this time she pulls out, a table.)
FJ: Yes! She is bringing out the furniture!
(She sets the table up, and goes back towards Dudely. She gets him back up, but he hits her with a suprise chin crusher. Miss USA stumbles backwards, and hits the ground. Meanwhile, Phoenix and Smith are still battling it out. Smith has Phoenix up on the top ropes. He then climbs in behind him, and wraps him around the waist. Smith then lifts up, and comes crashing down with a German superplex off the top rope, and through the table set up by Miss USA!!!)
HS: A.C. SMITH AND PHOENIX BOTH WENT THROUGH THAT TABLE!!
(The two of them are laid out in the shambles of the table. Dudely sees this as an oppurtunity to slide Miss USA back in the ring. He then gets her kendo stick. He helps her to her feet, and irish whips her to the ropes. He bounces off the opposing ropes, and...
*CRACK!!!!!*
(The sickening crack sound is heard throughout the arena, silencing everyone. Miss USA's blood splatters on the mat as she hits it. Dudely drops the stick, and covers her for the 1...2...3!!!)
HS: And Tom Dudely is the Number One contender for the No Limits championship!
(Dudely's music kicks up again, as he celebrates and walks to the back.)
(The view shifts to a shot outside the arena where Holly's black H2 Hummer sits in the center of the scene. From just off to the side of the camera's line of sight, Logan Alexander walks into the scene. He slowly walks around the hummer glancing out towards the surroundings. He stops in between the hummer and the camera, looking right towards the camera. He looks to someone off screen, and points towards the camera.)
LOGAN: "One over there. It looks like it's the only one."
(Logan turns his attention towards the hummer and rubs his chin thoughtfully, as footsteps approach the camera, echoing louder as they get closer to the camera. Something moves at the lens of the camera in a blur of motion…)
(And the scene disappears into static. We fade into a shot of Brian Stevens walking cautiously towards his locker room. He reaches for the door when it suddenly opens up and we see Onslaught standing there.)
STEVENS: "HOLY FUCKING SHIT! YOU SCARED THE FUCKING HELL OUT OF ME!"
ONSLAUGHT: "Sorry."
STEVENS: "What the fuck are you doing here? I thought you left me you fucking traitor!"
ONSLAUGHT: "I didn't know what was going on, but it felt cool to stand behind Tabitha. She's so smoking hot, man."
STEVENS: "Whatever. Look, is the bitch here?"
ONSLAUGHT: "Sarah?"
STEVENS: "No, Jessica...Of course Sarah."
ONSLAUGHT: "Yeah, she's tied up to the toilet bowl."
STEVENS: "...uh, yeah...great spot."
ONSLAUGHT: "She likes watching me pee."
STEVENS: "Dude, you're fucking sick..."
ONSLAUGHT: "What?!"
STEVENS: "Look, move her to the shower or something and make sure she cleans up so we can get this night on the road and finish this shit once and for all. Wait, you know what, I'll bathe her tonight. You stay watch like you were doing."
ONSLAUGHT: "Lucky fucker. Smack a cheek for me, bro."
STEVENS: "Uh, no."
ONSLAUGHT: "Dick."
(As Onslaught closes, the door, it fades out. Shifting to the backstage area, the scene opens to Steve Holly's massive form making his way through the halls. He reaches the doors leading outside and kicks one open in anger. The door swings out and slams against the wall, shattering the door's window. Holly steps outside and his eyes narrow as he focuses on something there. The Man in Black stops beside him, apparently having followed him all the way outside. He appears to be looking at the same thing as Holly.)
(The camera pans around showing Holly's hummer. Dents are visible all across the hood and doors, the windows have been smashed, and the wheels have been removed, leaving the hummer sitting in cinderblocks placed beneath it. On the windshield, the letters L and A are written in red paint, and a note is taped to the glass between them.)
(Holly walks over and snatches the note from the windshield. From this distance through the windshield, red paint can be seen where it has been splashed across the interior of the hummer. Holly reads the note quickly, as his face eases into a scheming grin, he nods then turns nodding to The Man in Black and climbs onto the Hummer. The Man in Black rises the hood to Holly's hand and Holly begins wrenching with all his might as he twists the hood from the frame. The hood comes off in his hands and he drops to the ground. Holding it in one hand he drags it behind him as it screeches upon the ground. He glances one last time at the note then drops it to the ground chuckling.)
(The camera shifts down towards the note. It reads: Since the big bad beast is only capable of responding through petty vandalism, I decided to respond in kind… and once again show you up. Hope you enjoy the modifications. It definitely reduces the gasoline consumption. Of course… if you have a problem with it… then that's just too damn bad! See you around, L.A.)
HS: "I'm sure after that you will bet that Holly will take this frustration out on someone."
FJ: "I feel bad for those Canucks. But, I also feel bad for Jai Williams as well."
HS: "Why? Is it because it's now time for the AWA No Limits Title to be defended?"
FJ: "Yes."
(passion/instant/sweat beads/fill me" begins to play throughout the arena as the beginning of Aaliyah's "More Than A Woman." Malika appears on the stage and strikes a sexy pose. She then proceeds to ringside, with her hips swinging and her lips humming along with the song. Malika enters the ring slowly and leans on the ropes, smiling seductively and awaiting her opponent.)
FJ: "Boy, she looks ready to defend that title."
HS: "But is she going to be able to keep up with one of the fast rising superstars in the AWA, Jai Williams."
FJ: "We'll see Herb... We'll see."
("Thug Lord: The New Testament (Outro)" by Yukmouth ft Kokane blares over the PA. The crowd begins to boo as Jai Williams walks through the curtains. He eyes the ring and sees the current AWA No Limits Champion. Jai rolls into the ring, Malika charges but Jai is quickly to his feet, and they begin to trade punches. Jai quickly gets the advantage and knocks her down with the third punch. As she gets up, he bounces off the ropes and nails a huge spear. We see the referee call for the bell.)
HS: "This isn't fair at all for Malika."
FJ: "She charged him. This is probably the best chance for the referee to call for the bell. These two are like animals."
(Jai mounts her and begins punching the AWA No Limits Champion. We see the referee finally pull him off. The referee checks on Malika, who says she can continue. As she pulls herself up by the ropes, Jai approaches her. He quickly grabs her, pulls her off the ropes and throws her in a release German Suplex. Jai now applies a crossface chickenwing on Malika. Lucky for her, they roll into the ropes. After a long four count, Jai Williams breaks the hold. He now pulls her away from the ropes and applies an anklelock, but she quickly rolls forward and sends him into the ropes. He falls to the ring apron. As she slowly begins to get up, he climbs the top rope and nails Pop Da Trunk on her.)
HS: "It's all over for her now."
FJ: "He doesn't look like he's finished yet."
(Frank is right, as Jai Williams drags her to the center of the ring. He now applies an STF to what looks like an un conscience Malika. Jai continues with the hold. The referee finally rings the bell, as she continues to lay motionless on the ground. Jai Williams releases the hold, and grabs his newly won AWA No Limits Title.)
HS: "Jai Williams now becomes the second man to hold the No Limits Title twice... only Quade de'Sade beat him to the mark."
FJ: "He is exactly what everyone should like in a wrestler. He isn't afraid to brawl, fight, and cheat to win the title. He also knows how to be ruthless, which is more than I can say for Malika at the moment."
(We cut to a commercial to show that Springs & Breaks 2006 is now available on DVD!)
("In the End" begins to play through the arena and Logan Alexander makes his way down the entrance ramp. He's carrying a duffel bag alongside him.)
HS: "Here comes the United States champion headed to the ring. He's got that double title match coming up against Jayson Price later tonight, yet he's getting involved in some destructive backstage activities against Steve Holly."
FJ: "I'll say. Did you see what he did to Holly's hummer? The stakes between those two just keep going up and up."
(Logan reaches the ring and slides in under the bottom rope pulling the bag in with him.)
HS: "Apparently so… but the question is: Just who did he have out there helping him? There's no way he did all that damage and then removed the tires all on his own."
FJ: "Maybe he brought his mechanic along with him just for that. Maybe we'll get an even better answer once the champ has a chance to say his piece."
(Getting a mic from the ring announcer Logan returns to the center of the ring and looks out towards the entrance way.)
LOGAN: "Holly… hey Holly! I figure you might be in the back either hunting around for me or maybe you're just crying over the new look for your set of wheels. Guess it's a lot like you now. It's big, it's going nowhere fast, and there's nobody behind the wheel."
"I take it you're having a lot of fun playing these games in the back. Trying to scare me or make me look over my shoulder while wondering where you are. Frankly Holly… I haven't given a damn where you are, since I got my belt back from you, and that was like rummaging through a pile of crap to retrieve that one item that had any worth. I've been done with you for a month Holly… but you just can't seem to move on can you?"
"You've been going on about how bad the beast is for months. You've rambled on and on about this crap for so long. I finally called your bluff last month when I beat you at your own game and left you laying where the announce table had once been. Apparently that short trip woke up ‘the beast'."
"I've apparently broken the mind of Steve Holly, and he's coming to get me…"
(Logan looks around warily in mock fear.)
LOGAN: "Oooo scary… So what has the big bad beast done so far?"
(He stands there for a few moments, thinking intently.)
LOGAN: "Oh right… he went out and ruined a nice set of clothes I happened to bring in a month back by splashing paint all over them and doing the same to the rest of my locker room. I wasn't particularly impressed, but it wasn't really anything for me to be concerned about."
"Let's see… then he put a cardboard cut out of himself in my locker room to try and scare me a few weeks ago. I'll say that walking into a blacked out room did put me on edge. I don't expect Holly to come out and face me… so having him lurking in the darkness waiting to blindside me it exactly what I'd expect from him. It was just a cardboard cut out though, and much like I did to the really Holly, I split it into two halves as well. I probably have more to fear from the cut out than from Holly."
(Logan laughed softly for a few moments.)
LOGAN: "But now Holly… there's no real excuse for you to just duck out on me tonight. You've got no transportation to get out of here with. So unless you want to just walk home or sit in the back and wait for someone to come and fix your hummer, so you can avoid me again, like the coward that you are… Why don't you come out here and face me?"
(He waited for a few moments watching the entryway.)
FJ: "You think he'll come out Herb?"
HS: "I don't see why he wouldn't. Holly didn't look too pleased when he saw the condition of his hummer."
(Logan continued to stand there waiting.)
LOGAN: "What's the matter Holly? Don't have the nuts to come out and face me? Well… that's okay. I have an extra set here just for you."
(He reached down to the bag he had with him, opened it, and withdrew a glass jar from inside it. He held the jar up. Inside of it, there were several metal lug nuts.)
HS: "What are those?"
FJ: "I'd say from Logan's recent statement… those would be nuts of some sort."
LOGAN: "Here you go Holly. One set of ‘Holly Hummer Lug Nuts', from me to you!"
(From the entryway, a loud metallic screech echoes out which slowly gets louder.)
HS: "What is that noise?!"
FJ: "You got me…"
(Holly appears at the top of the entrance ramp, dragging the dented hood of his hummer along with him. The sound apparently is coming from the spot where the hood makes contact with the ground as it is dragged along.)
FJ: "Wow! I've heard of having a fight in the hood… but it looks like Holly's going to have the hood in a fight."
(Holly chuckles maniacally as he continues down the ramp with the massive Hummer hood. However, he doesn't chuckle for long as both of his opponents for his match come out behind him and take him down with a double bulldog onto the ramp!)
FJ: "Hah! The Canucks are always the opportunists!"
HS: "It seems Logan is perfectly fine with this, just like that attack The Canucks pulled on Holly and the Man in Black on Exposed."
(Herb is right. Logan is just standing in the ring, watching on as The Canucks pick up the hood and swing it with all their might onto Holly's back as he gets on all fours. Holly drops down to the ramp again and rolls to the bottom, holding his back in pain. The Canucks chuckle as they toss the hood aside, then move in on Holly and start laying down kick after kick on him. Holly seems to be fighting it off for a moment, but a low-blow from Xtreme Jeff ends the effort.)
HS: "Great. Now The Canucks are just beating up one of their opponents and no one is doing a god damn thing about it!"
FJ: "Sounds good to me!"
(The crowd starts to boo loudly, but they suddenly cheer as the Man in Black storms out of the entrance and down the ramp. The Canucks rush up to meet him, but receive a double clothesline for doing so. The Man in Black picks Terry up and whips him into a nearby guardrail! Terry crumples to the ground as the Man in Black does the same thing to Xtreme Jeff.)
HS: "Looks like help has finally arrived!"
FJ: "Oh so when The Canucks attack Holly from behind, it's not good. but when the Man in Black attacks The Canucks from behind, it's alright?"
HS: "The Canucks attacked Holly and it was two on one. The Man in Black attacked The Canucks and it was one on two. The former is cowardly, while the latter is brave."
FJ: "Pfft, The Canucks are cooler anyways."
(While Herb and Frank were fighting, The Man in Black went over to his partner to help him up. Holly got up by himself, seemingly recovered from the low-blow he received moments ago. Seeing that the two were pre-occupied for a second, Logan quickly ran into the opposite ropes and rebounded, before launching himself through the ropes to hit Holly and The MiB with a suicide dive. Unfortunately for Logan, these two men were rather big and they managed to catch him around the throat with their giant hands!)
HS: "I think Logan will regret that high risk manoeuvre now!"
(Before Holly and MiB can drop Logan down for the double-chokeslam The Canucks come running in from behind and deliver a low-blow to each of the big men. They both let go of Logan immediately and crumple to the ground. Logan grabs a mike from a nearby ring-aide and brings it up to talk.)
LOGAN: "I almost forgot to tell you: I'm going to be in The Canucks corner for your match, which is starting…NOW!"
(The Canucks quickly roll a prone Holly into the ring and Xtreme Jeff walks over to his corner as Terry rolls into the ring with Holly. Logan goes to The Canucks' corner on the outside of the ring as a referee runs down to start the match.)
HS: "Well, that's one of the cheapest starts I've seen in a while."
FJ: "Yeah, they didn't even have entrances. What a rip-off!"
(Terry immediately starts putting the boots to the Man in Black, who is
unable to defend himself for a few moments. However, after those few moments
he starts to weave away from the kicks, rolling away from each attempt.
Eventually Terry starts hailing down kicks like a whack-a-mole game, trying
to hit the elusive Man in Black.)
HS: "The Man in Black is dodging every kick with strange agility."
FJ: "I know. Why won't he just stay still for a second?"
(Terry tries for a few more moments before the Man in Black suddenly
rolls to Terry's side and trips him up with a drop toe hold. He then gets up
and waits for Terry to rise to his feet, which he does quickly. The Storm
starts to throw punches, but each time he goes for a jab, the Man in Black
side-steps it and slaps Terry in the back of the head. After a few times,
this starts to get under The Storm's skin, and he lashes out with a kick to
the Man in Black's gut that doubles the big man over. Terry then dashes into
the opposite ropes and rebounds with a flying forearm, that the Man in Black
rolls away from, causing Terry to land on the canvas below. Terry gets up
very quickly, obviously annoyed with his opponent's style of fighting. The
Man in Black rolls his head back, as if to laugh.)
HS: "This mysterious man is in his in-ring debut and he's not going for
any offensive manoeuvres at all. He seems to be content with staying on a
very aggravating defence."
FJ: "If he keeps doing this he's going to get caught eventually. He's
huge! He's bound to get hit by something."
(Terry starts to rush forward, but then stops and smirks. He shakes his
finger as if he has figured out what's going on. The Man in Black just
stares at him from behind his mask as he does this, not showing any sort of
change in emotion. Terry then motions for the Man in Black to come attack
him and gets down into a defensive stance.)
HS: "It seems like Terry James is going to try and get his opponent to
start the attack now."
(Xtreme Jeff suddenly decides to step into the ring, grabbing the ref's
attention. As this happens, Logan dashes around the ring to a rising Holly
and nails him with a spear out of nowhere! Holly goes back down to the
ground outside the ring and Logan runs back around to his corner. Xtreme
Jeff then "gives up" on coming into the match and chuckles as he steps back
into his corner.)
HS: "Well, it looks like The Canucks are playing the numbers game."
FJ: "Well, the Man in Black started with the dodging game first!"
(Terry once again motions for the Man in Black to come at him, but the
big man shakes his head and goes to tag in Holly. Unfortunately Holly is
still on the ground, much to the chagrin of the Man in Black, who turns
around into a spinning heel kick from Terry! The Man in Black tumbles back
into his corner from the impact and Terry takes advantage with a springboard
dropkick. The Man in Black stumbles into the middle of the ring and Terry
takes him down to the canvas with a running bulldog. Terry then tags in
Xtreme Jeff, who is on the top turnbuckle. Terry runs up the turnbuckle and
gives his partner a launching pad in the form of his hands cupped together.
Xtreme Jeff steps up into Terry's hands and Terry launches XTJ into the air,
who uses the extra hang time to do a mid-air back flip and nail the Man in
Black with a shooting star press!)
HS: "I've got to hand it to The Canucks; they know how use teamwork."
FJ: "Did you see how high Jeff just got on that shooting star press?"
(XTJ quickly covers and the ref gets into position to count:
One………Two……the Man in Black kicks out! XTJ slams the mat as he thought he
had it, but quickly shrugs it off and tags Terry back in. Terry runs into
the opposite ropes as Xtreme Jeff hops onto the top turnbuckle again. Terry
springboards off the top of the ropes into a moonsault as XTJ leaps off the
top turnbuckle with a leg drop. The two connect and Terry pins the Man in
Black. The ref counts again: One…………Two……the Man in Black kicks out again!
Terry slams the mat in the same fashion that his partner just did, but
decides to get up and look to the outside. He sees Holly is starting to rise
on the outside and quickly motions for Xtreme Jeff to come in. XTJ does so,
grabbing the ref's attention. On cue, Logan goes over to the side of the
ring Holly is on and rummages under the ring, finding a chair.)
HS: "C'mon ref! How many times are you going to fall for the same damn
trick?"
FJ: "Enough times for Holly to stay down I think."
(Logan stalks Holly with the chair as XTJ continues to argue with the
ref. Terry quickly dashes under the ropes and stalks Holly with Logan. Holly
gets up, immediately finding a chair in his hands. He then immediately finds
the chair being launched into his face ala Super Conductor! Holly falls over
like a large tree after it has been cut and Logan quickly throws the dented
chair back under the ring. Terry slides back in and Logan runs back to his
corner. XTJ once again steps back to the outside and the ref turns around to
see Terry flat on the ground after receiving a big boot from the Man in
Black!)
HS: "Looks like Terry spent too much time on the outside. The Man in
Black has recovered and I don't think he's going to be too pleased with all
of this behind the scenes action The Canucks and Logan are pulling."
FJ: "That may be true, but I think it's safe to say Holly has been taken
out of the match for the foreseeable future!"
(The Man in Black waits for Terry to get up. Terry does so, in a slight
daze, and the Man in Black starts teeing off with powerful strikes: A fist
to Terry's solar plexus that winds Terry, a stomp to his right knee that
knocks him down to his left and a palm strike to Terry's jaw that topples
him over to his back. The Man in Black hovers over him, almost methodically
waiting for him to get up. However, XTJ quickly dashes in to give Terry some
time to catch his breathe and hits the Man in Black with an elbow to the
back of the head. The Man in Black stumbles forward as the ref brings XTJ
back to his corner. Terry seems to have caught his breathe as he gets up and
starts hitting some successful forearm strikes to the Man in Black's head.
He then whips the Man in Black into the ropes and catches him with a drop
toe hold, but the Man in Black surprisingly rolls through and back onto his
feet and rebounds off the ropes again. Terry gets up, slightly confused at
how he just did that, and sets up for a back body drop. However, the Man in
Black rolls over Terry's back and rebounds off the ropes once again. Terry
turns and goes for a wild clothesline out of annoyance, but the Man in Black
dodges under it and hits Terry with a kitchen sink out of nowhere! Terry
flips over to the canvas and the Man in Black covers him. The ref goes down
to count: One………Two………Terry kicks out!)
HS: "Well, I'd say that Terry is not having much fun right now."
FJ: "How can he have fun when the Man in Black won't stay still and get
hit?"
(The Man in Black simply gets up and stalks Terry instead of getting
angry with the near fall. Terry gets up and the Man in Black gives him a
reverse elbow strike to the throat. Terry clutches at his throat, gasping
for air, as the Man in Black runs into the opposite ropes and hits Terry
with a running pump kick to the chest. Terry falls back into the ropes and
rebounds out as the Man in Black suddenly flips so that his hand plants on
the ground. He then goes for an enziguri-like kick to Terry's head, but The
Storm somehow ducks under it and rolls to his corner, tagging Xtreme Jeff
in. Xtreme Jeff comes flying out of the corner to catch the Man in Black
off-balance, but the much bigger man almost backflips to land on his feet
after missing his kick at Terry!)
HS: "The Man in Black just went for what I am told is called Instant
Violence. It is a very unique finisher for a man of his size."
FJ: "It is certainly confusing the hell out of the Rated X Superstar!"
(XTJ goes for a dropkick, but the Man in Black side-steps it and hits
Xtreme Jeff with a reverse elbow strike to the throat as he flies by. XTJ
drops to the ground, holding his throat in pain as Terry did. The Man in
Black once again stalks his prey as XTJ coughs for a few moments on the
ground.)
HS: "Looks like the Man in Black is looking for that finishing kick of
his again."
FJ: "Watch out Jeff!"
HS: "He can't hear you Frank."
FJ: "Sure he can. Look: he isn't getting up."
HS: "He's not getting up because he's having breathing problems after
receiving an elbow to the throat."
(Terry is now starting to get up in his corner and he sees the Man in
Black stalking his partner. Terry immediately climbs to the top turnbuckle
and leaps off towards the Man in Black. The Man in Black is caught off-guard
as he had his attention on the rising Xtreme Jeff and Terry catches him with
a huge tornado DDT! The ref gets in Terry's face, allowing Logan to get
another chair from under the ring and toss it to Xtreme Jeff, who is on the
top turnbuckle in his corner. The Man in Black gets up as Xtreme Jeff tosses
the chair at him. He catches it out of instinct, but pays the price as XTJ
dropkicks it into his face! Terry continues to distract the ref as Xtreme
Jeff slides the chair out of the ring and covers the Man in Black. Terry
then turns the ref around and points to the pin happening in front of him.)
HS: "Great! Now The Canucks are going to win because they cheated!"
FJ: "What cheating?"
HS: "Please Frank, Xtreme Jeff obviously just dropkicked a chair into the
Man in Black's face."
FJ: "Well the ref didn't see it, so as far as I'm concerned, the Man in
Black just ran into a random chair in the ring."
(The ref goes down to count: One…………Two……………Thr-Holly breaks up the
pin!)
FJ: "What!? How is he in this match? I thought he ran into a chair
outside of the ring earlier on."
HS: "I don't know how Holly got up from that Super Conductor, but he's
back in this match now!"
(Xtreme Jeff can't believe it as Terry gets ushered back to his corner
by the ref and Holly steps back into his. XTJ quickly helps up the Man in
Black and lifts him up into an Olympic slam, but the Man in Black somehow
recovers and rolls off XTJ's shoulders. XTJ falls to the mat as the Man in
Black tags in Holly!)
HS: "Holly's the legal man!"
FJ: "Watch out Jeff!"
(XTJ gets up, but Holly knocks him right back down with a huge
clothesline. Xtreme Jeff slowly gets up again and Holly goes for a spear,
but Xtreme Jeff is able to side-step it. Xtreme Jeff then hits a bulldog on
Holly, using the big man's momentum to his advantage. He covers and the ref
goes down to count: One…….Holly practically throws XTJ across the ring!)
HS: "This doesn't bode to well for The Canucks!"
FJ: "This isn't fair! Holly's still supposed to be out on the floor…after
running into that chair on the outside."
(Holly gets up as XTJ tags in Terry, who comes storming into the ring.
Terry hits Holly with a flying forearm that causes the much bigger man to
stumble back into the ropes. Terry lands on his back afterwards, quickly
kipping up to his feet! The Storm then hits a dropkick on Holly's right knee
that sends Holly limping forward. Terry runs into the ropes in front of
Holly and springboards off, aiming to hit Holly with a backflip kick to the
head. Holly is able to move his head out of the way and Terry lands on his
feet beside him. Holly quickly picks Terry up and sends him crashing down
with a spinebuster, then stalks him as he slowly gets to his feet.)
HS: "I'm guessing Holly is looking for some payback right about now!"
FJ: "Don't turn around Terry!"
(Terry doesn't hear Frank, surprisingly, and he turns around. Steve
Holly reaches his arm back then slams it forward into the throat of The
Storm. With an impressive show of strength, Holly manhandles Terry James
into a military press!)
HS: "This looks like the end Frank!"
FJ: "I didn't hear your mama singin' Herb!"
HS: "My ma-... I'm... I'm... I'm gonna kick your ASS for that!!!"
FJ: "Hold up Herb! We've got something on the big screen!"
(Holly presses Terry a few times with his back to the big screen, then
spins James' legs back, dropping into a Stunner!)
HS: "Holly nailed the Raisin' Hell, but he hasn't seen the screen yet!"
FJ: "Is that who I think it is?!"
HS: "That's Kendra Holly!!!"
(Holly grins wickedly at Terry and raises his arms into the air as he
turns around. He faces the screen and his jaw drops. Incredulity paints
itself across his face, as he looks ashamedly upon his wife.)
HS: "This was unexpected!"
FJ: "Ya think?!"
(The Man in Black tries to get Steve's attention to grab the pin while
he can, but Holly does not turn his gaze away from his wife. She looks all
business and holds a microphone to her lips.)
KENDRA: "Hello Steve. I just thought I'd stop by to lay a few truths down
for the fans; a few truths that you have either omitted, or blatantly lied
about. I for one am sick and tired of the lies Steve, and I'm sure your
fans, who have supported you, and pitied you throughout this ordeal, will
begin to change their minds as to who you really are. I'm beginning to
question that myself."
(Kendra's eyes go moist, and she chokes back a sob, but she continues
mercilessly.)
KENDRA: "I have left my own home. I have taken my child; the same child
who has not seen his father in over a month; the same child who has begun to
cry for his daddy every night. Where is Trent's father Steve; or better yet,
where is his Daddy?"
(A single tear drops from Kendra's left eye, yet she still continues.
Holly's face has not lost its incredulous stare.)
KENDRA: "Now most of this is well known. What you have neglected to
inform everybody, is that you didn't encourage me to leave Steve. You didn't
do it to keep me safe. Hell, you didn't do it at all! I left Steve! I left
YOU! So all this pity your fans have been showing you is bullshit Steve! ALL
OF IT! You screwed up! You screwed up our family! And for what?! A man in a
black mask? A man who helped destroy your family?! You've lost your wife
Steve! But worst of all, Trent's lost his daddy! Do you care Steve?! Do you
care that your son cries for you EVERY SINGLE NIGHT?!"
(Kendra breaks down for a moment and covers her face with her hands, she
ducks down below the camera sight. Holly climbs the turnbuckle trying to see
her, and screams out her name.)
(Kendra finally controls herself and returns to camera-view.)
KENDRA: "It doesn't matter Steve... It just doesn't matter. Just remember
this Steve Holly, this was YOUR fault!"
(The screen goes blank, then brightens as the camera goes back to Steve
Holly. Holly falls from the turnbuckle straight to his knees. He screams
pitifully for Kendra, for Trent, for himself. The pain is evident as it is
written across his features, the torment dancing in his eyes as tears begin
to fall.)
HS: "My God."
FJ: "If Holly wasn't screwed up before, this'll really mess him up."
HS: "I don't think Holly's in any position to continue this match!"
FJ: "Maybe not, but this match is not over! LOOK!"
(As the camera returns to the ring and the kneeling Steve Holly, Terry
has risen to his feet. The Man in Black tries to shout a warning, but it is
to a deaf ear. The Storm takes a running start and delivers a dropkick to
the back of Steve Holly's skull, driving his face hard into the bottom
turnbuckle. Holly curls up into a foetal position, still calling out for his
wife and son. Terry then tags in XTJ and they begin stomping on the prone
body of Hellraisin' Holly.)
HS: "This is HORRIBLE!!! How can they take advantage if this situation?!"
FJ: "Because it is a match Herb! And it's for their titles!"
(The Man in Black shakes his head as he drops from the ring apron.)
FJ: "Looks like the Mystery Man has decided to turn his back on Steve
Holly."
HS: "I knew this would happen sooner or lat-... Hold on! What's he
doing?"
(The Man in Black throws the ring announcer from his chair and folds it
up in his hands. He stalks back to the ring and slides under the ropes. The
Canucks do not notice the danger, but Logan does. He quickly dashes in to
the ring and takes both of The Canucks down with a spear, causing the Man I
Black to narrowly miss their heads and hit the ref in the arm instead! The
ref crumples to the mat, but uses his other arm to call for the bell!)
HS: "Logan just saved both of The Canucks there!"
FJ: "The Man in Black has just drawn a disqualification for his team!"
(The Man in Black looks down at the ref, knowing he missed his target,
or targets. However, he doesn't have much time to look as The Canucks and
Logan all jump the Man in Black and beat him down to the canvas. They take
his chair and roll his beaten body out of the ring, turning their attention
to Holly. The big man is looking fairly infantile right now as he is still
curled up and calling for his wife and son. Logan takes care of this as he
slams the chair into Holly's forehead, knocking him out and busting him
open.)
HS: "This is just disgusting! Those three are attacking a man who was
clearly in no position to defend himself!"
FJ: "Well, that's the perfect time to attack. Isn't it?"
(The Canucks roll Holly over onto his stomach and starts dragging his
bloody forehead around the ring as Logan makes sure the Man in Black can't
interfere.)
HS: "No! Not this!"
FJ: "Yay! Blood!"
(Shades of a few months ago start to kick in as we see The Canucks are
drawing their infamous Canadian flag with Holly's blood. However, an
overhead view shows this one is different as they toss Holly aside. There
are three letters in the middle: E C W. The Canucks call for mikes and their
titles. They get both and quickly raise their mikes to talk.)
TERRY: "You are probably all wondering what those three letters stand
for, aren't you? Well, it stands for a new era in the AWA! It stands for
dominance! It stands for greatness!"
XTJ: "It stands for Elite Canadian Wrestlers and you are looking right at
them!"
(The three men in the ring raise their arms in glory as the crowd boos
at realization of their partnership.)
HS: "I can't believe it! Logan is actually siding with The Canucks, one
of which has been his rival for months!"
FJ: "You're forgetting one thing Herb. Logan is the United States
champion and he will be the Cruiserweight champion as well after tonight.
The Canucks are the tag team champions. There's four belts in that stable!"
(The Man in Black rises on the outside, shaking his head. He raises his
arm as if to signal something and the lights suddenly go out.)
HS: "What's going on?"
(The lights come back on and the Man in Black and Holly are both gone
from sight. Logan is the only one standing in the ring as The Canucks are
out cold on the canvas. The words "Wrong" and "Time" are written in blood on
Terry and XTJ's chests. Logan is shocked at this, as is the crowd.)
FJ: "What just happened!?"
HS: "I can't really answer that question Frank. All I can say is that the
plot has thickened greatly surrounding both of the teams involved in the
match we just saw!"
(The Canucks start to stir as they begin to get to their feet.)
FJ: "Great heart and resiliance by these two Canucks."
HS: "No matter if you love them or not, you have to respect them. They are the AWA Tag Team Champions and they're on their feet in defiance of the brutal beat down they received just a moment ago."
(The Canucks hold their titles in the air as they try to exit the ring. As the Canucks hold their titles up, Be A Gentleman by Jae Hood blares over the PA and the crowd begins to cheer. The lights go out and a huge DW appears on the video screen. Suddenly the lights come back on, and as he do, Xtreme Jeff turns around into a Belly-to-Belly Suplex which sends him out of the ring. Terry James quickly charges Jeff Christianson, who wisely ducks under his clothesline. As Terry James rebounds, Jeff Christianson quickly rolls on the ground, and clutches the running Terry James leg. As he continues his roll, Terry James lands face first and he executes a rolling Boston crab. He sits down on it. As Xtreme Jeff gets back up on the apron, Jeff Christianson releases the hold and nails a running knee lift, and hits XTJ right in the face. XTJ falls off the apron, landing face first on the announce table. Terry James slowly tries to get up, but Jeff Christianson puts this to a halt by applying an anklelock. We see him grapevine the leg and see Terry James frantically reaching for the ropes but Jeff Christianson doesn't break the hold. Finally, the referees clear the locker room and pull a vengeful Jeff Christianson off of Terry James. Jeff Christianson quickly exits the ring, and walks over to the ring announcer, and grabs his microphone.)
HS: "The Canucks thought they had Jeff Christianson finished a couple weeks ago."
FJ: "Obviously they thought wrong."
(Jeff begins to speak.)
DW: "Terry, you want to know who attacked you? You really want to know that bad... well, play the music of the 'mystery' man who attacked you."
(As Terry looks towards the aisle, we see DW take a cheap running knee lift at XTJ, who seems to have been getting back to his feet. Suddenly, Be A Gentleman by Jae Hood blares over the PA as the crowd cheers for Jeff Christianson.)
DW: "I attacked you. If you would have had on your glasses, you might have saw me coming. That's what you get for drinking coffee outside of my locker room. Terry, I'm laying the challenge to both of you. I'll wrestle one of you next, week, and then the other the week after. Please, decide who doesn't want to be broken in half... unless you're both afraid of me. That would explain why you wanted to take me out. Next time, try harder kids, because I'm back, and I'm ready to finish what I've started."
FJ: "HE'S BACK!"
HS: "Poor Canucks. I think we need some medical help out here now."
(We cut to a commercial for the next AWA PPV, King of the Kage as the Canucks are being helped from the ring.)
FJ: "What a night. What's up next?"
HS: "I think we have the Ortega vs. Dickinson match."
FJ: "Oh man!"
HS: "AWA fans, Orlando Ortega was hoping to get his hands at The Legendary Low by now. The animosity between these two dates back several months to when Low was the owner of the AWA. Ever since then, there have been situations between these two, yet OOO has only managed to secure a match with Low's manager, The BIG ROD."
FJ: "Don't call him that! He's 'The Beautiful, Intelligent Genius' Richard O. Dickinson III. And remember Springs And Breaks, Herb? HE'S A MEAN FIGHTING MACHINE!"
HS: "Yeah, and that purse is especially mean."
FJ: "It's a gentlemen's bag!"
(Suddenly, the lights dim and the beat of a disco song begins to play. Then a giant disco ball gets lowered over the middle of the ring, but as we look closer, we can see that the disco ball is also wrapped in barbed wire.)
FJ: "I told you he's a lean mean velvetine fighting machine!"
(As "I Need A Man" by Grace Jones blasts over the speakers, Richard O. Dickinson III comes out into the arena. His ring gear consists of a yellow bodysuit covering his entire body, lime green combat boots and a football helmet. His 'gentleman's bag' is by his side, as always.)
HS: "This is the most ridiculous banana I have ever seen in my entire life!"
FJ: "Lean Mean Velvetine Fighting Machine! The BIG ROD!"
(ROD walks down the ramp and enters the ring, where his bodysuit shines in the light reflected by the disco ball. He then grabs the ring announcer's microphone.)
ROD: "Well, well, well, Ahm in Taxis, aynemey tayrritory..."
(ROD chuckles.)
ROD: "Well, I know you idiots out here would understand me better if I spoke that way, but I'll switch back to English. I know that sucks for all you illegals, I mean, the Ortega family in attendance tonight, but hey, we've got to think international. I mean... well... not the way you do, obviously."
(There are loud boos from the Texas crowd.)
ROD: "You know, today I went to a grocery store and I wanted to buy some Limburger cheese. Did you idiots know that in your idiotic state it isn't allowed to sell Limburger on a Sunday? No wonder our President is such a moron - he's from Texas! Only retards and Jose's are from Texas!"
(Suddenly, the fans explode in a chorus of cheers as the music of Texas' own Orlando Ortega begins to play to cut ROD off. Orange smoke begins to billow from the entranceway as the fans wait anxiously in anticipation. As the first verse of "Like You" by Daddy Yankee begins, Orlando Ortega suddenly leaps through the cloud with a rolling senton. Instead of doing his usual routine, though, he runs straight down the ramp and slides into the ring. However, before he can get up, ROD nails OOO with his bag and seemingly knock him out.)
HS: "Hey! No foreign objects!"
FJ: "First of all, this is Texas, most objects here are foreign to the population. Secondly, the match hasn't even started yet. Thirdly, OOO was going to attack ROD, it was only an act of self-defense. I know this is Texas, but what are you going to do, give him the death penalty?"
(ROD urges the referee to call for the opening bell and then covers OOO.)
FJ: "He might share Brian Stevens' record for shortest win in AWA history there, ironically over OOO AS WELL!"
(The referee counts 1..... 2..... 3! NO! OOO kicks out at the last split-second and the crowd goes berzerk. ROD has a look of panic on his face and covers his ears, trying to avoid the crowd's chants, yet with a football helmet on, this turns out to be quite difficult. ROD now lays the boots to OOO, but OOO slowly fights his back to his knees.)
HS: "Uh-oh, I think ROD realizes he's in big trouble now."
(Indeed, ROD's kicks don't seem to have any effect on OOO, who suddenly explodes with a series of rapid fire punches to ROD's stomach. OOO backs ROD up against the ropes with a series of chops, then whips him across the ring. As ROD bounces off the ropes, OOO goes up into the air and nails ROD with a huracanrana. He mounts ROD, pulls off the football helmet and starts punching away at him.)
FJ: "Step in ref, he's hurting him on purpose!"
HS: "That's the whole point, Frank. Besides, I thought he was a Lean Mean Velvetine Fighting Machine?"
FJ: "Right, he is, he is!"
(OOO gets up while ROD seems to be out of it. OOO pulls ROD up, hooks his head, looks into the crowd for approval and hits a DDT. He gets up and then looks into the crowd, which is going into a frenzy. OOO pulls ROD up again, hooks his head once again, and nails a second DDT. As OOO gets up again, he puts his hand to his ear and then circles his hand and finger like Jake Roberts used to do. He pulls ROD up once again and hits him with a third DDT.)
FJ: "Leave him alone, you jumping bean!"
HS: "ROD is in bad shape right now, and I don't mean just physically. That too, of course."
(OOO turns ROD onto his back and then starts climbing the turnbuckles.)
HS: "I think he's going for the Head's Up!"
(As OOO reaches the top rope, the crowd chants his name. He briefly looks into the crowd and then jumps off to hit the Head's Up. He covers ROD and the referee counts 1..... 2..... 3! OOO wins.)
HS: "Orlando Ortega with a convincing win over The BIG ROD!"
FJ: "What an accomplishment - beating an untrained MANAGER! HA! Some hero!"
HS: "What ever happened to The Lean Mean Velvetine Fighting Machine?"
FJ: "Shut up, Herb."
(Ortega celebrates and leaves the ring. He takes a walk around ringside, high-fiving the fans in the first few rows. Suddenly, an old Hispanic-looking lady asks OOO to sign her frying pan.)
HS: "Now that's a unique piece of memorabilia. But I guess it suits that older lady."
FJ: "OOO's a weirdo, his fans are weirdos, ALL Mexicans are weirdos."
HS: "He's not Mexican, you ignorant jerk!"
(OOO shakes the lady's hand and then wants to walk on, when suddenly the old lady nails OOO with that frying pan!)
HS: "What the hell?"
FJ: "Haha, I love old Mexican ladies and their latin fire!"
(The lady jumps the guardrail, which is no easy task with her long black dress, multi-colored pancho and long, curly grey locks. OOO is on his knees, when the lady nails him with the pan again, right in the back of his head. ROD is back on his feet as well and joins the lady in picking up OOO and pushing him into the ring. There, ROD pulls OOO up and holds. The lady takes a few steps back and then nails OOO with the pan again, opening up his forehead.)
HS: "And Ortega is bleeding!"
FJ: "This must be his REAL mother, Miranda Esmeralda Consuelo Fernandez de la Martinez de la Gutierrez de la Ortega de la Johnson. I'm sure she's upset with how her son has behaved over the years and now his mom, I mean payback, is a bitch."
HS: "Please."
(ROD pulls the bloodied OOO up once again, and now the old lady almost stalks OOO. She nails him with a kick to the stomach and then hits a Stunner, as the crowd almost boos her out of the building.)
HS: "Old lady my ass!"
FJ: "Yeah! AGILE old lady!"
(The old lady now stands over OOO. All of a sudden she pulls off her hair... gets out of the dress and the pancho... and pulls off what seems to be a rubber mask to reveal...)
FJ: "ALL HAIL THE LEGENDARY LOW!"
HS: "I knew it!"
(The crowd boos unmercifully as Low, rubber hanging from his face, laughs hysterically. ROD would do so too, if only he could. Low spits on OOO, then helps ROD out of the ring and up the ramp.)
HS: "What a disgusting act from Low, but then again, that's what we have gotten used to over the past six years."
FJ: "Indeed, and after all this time, Low still finds ways to top himself."
HS: "Low is a despicable coward who gets his jollies from kicking men when they are down."
FJ: "What do you mean down? OOO deserved this for embarassing ROD like that!"
HS: "If anyone deserved what they got tonight, it was Richard O. Dickinson III! Low just came out here and blindsided OOO!"
FJ: "There isn't much OOO can do about it, he can't even move. Someone get the damn EMT's out here and clean this garbage from the ring."
(EMT's storm the ring to help the unconcious Orlando Ortega as fans boo loudly. Low smiles arrogantly at the action in the ring while ROD limps up the rampway. He looks back at the carnage that Low left in the ring and laughs loudly with his boss.)
HS: "Laugh it up, you two. This isn't the last of this."
FJ: "I think it is! OOO has to be out of action indefinately after a calculated attack like this. Look, he isn't even responding to the EMT's!"
HS: "Wait a minute... what the?"
FJ: "This... this isn't possible."
(The camera focuses on OOO, who is suddenly aware of where he is and what is going on. He shoves the EMT who is trying to put a neckbrace on him, and he kicks out of the gurney. The EMT's try to stop him, for his own safety, but he shoves them away as the Texas fans suddenly roar loudly.)
HS: "No, OOO. This isn't smart... you're going to injure yourself permanently."
(A look of terror overwhelms ROD, despite being all the way up the ramp, but Low looks on with distinguished at what is transpiring in the ring. Orlando Ortega is stumbling towards the ropes, barely able to hold himself up, but he can only glare at Low through the crimson mask. OOO falls to one knee, and the EMT's rush to his aide, but once again he shoves them away and then wills himself to his feet.)
HS: "OOO is going to hurt himself badly if he doesn't stop now. He's just baiting Low for more!"
FJ: "Good, maybe then we'll finally get rid of him."
(OOO looks over at a ring aide, blood still dripping onto the mat, and he calls for a microphone. The fans are going nuts, but even they sense the potential hazard from OOO's stubborness. Low looks on, having yet moved from his place, and a slight smile comes over his face.)
OOO: "L... Low! I've h..h..had enough of this! You've said I don't have the guts to ch... challange you..."
(Orlando coughs up some blood, but continues.)
OOO: "It's YOU, Low... who doesn't have any guts. I've sat by and waited my turn, Low, but that hasn't g... gotten me anywhere! So RIGHT NOW! In front of the entire world, LOW, I'm challenging YOU! Me and you, Low... at KING OF THE KAGE!"
(Low finally shows a response as his eyes grow wide. Everyone in the arena, including OOO, expect Low to charge and attack or call for a microphone. He does neither, however, and simply turns up the ramp and walks away, waving him off as he does, to a chorus of boos.)
OOO: "ONE WEEK, LOW! YOU HAVE ONE WEEK! PROVE TO THE WORLD THAT YOU'RE NOT A COWARD!"
(Low doesn't even turn back as OOO collapses in the ring.)
HS: "What a mess we have out here!"
FJ: "That's what happens when you illegally infiltrate this great nation."
HS: "You're an ass, Frank."
FJ: "At least I'm not struggling to get up."
(We hit another commercial advertising the DVD, "AWA's most fiercest Feuds, Vol. 1" which is on DVD NOW!)
HS: "Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for our title versus title
match! The United States champion, Logan "Chaos Stryke" Alexander is putting
his title on the line against the cruiserweight champion, Jayson "Misery"
Price's title."
FJ: "The best part is that Logan will be able to defeat Jayson not once,
but twice in one night!"
HS: "Now, don't go too far ahead now. Misery is not a pushover and Logan
won't get this victory, let alone two victories, so easily from him."
FJ: "Well, you're forgetting about three important things: E C W, the
Elite Canadian Wrestlers! I have a feeling Logan isn't going to be alone in
the ring in this match."
HS: "Well, I hate to say it, but you may be right. I'm still a little
shocked from what they did to Holly."
FJ: "Yeah, it was that good, eh?"
HS: "No, it was horrible Frank. A man's blood shouldn't be used like
that…Hold on, I'm getting word that Logan is backstage with The Canucks
right now."
(The view changes to a backstage hallway, in which the tag team
champions and United States champion are discussing something. The Canucks
look fairly happy as they sling their titles over their shoulders.)
XTJ: "I don't know what the hell just happened!"
TERRY: "Neither do I. That Man in Black has got to be the most annoying
person I've ever stepped in the ring with, and I step in the ring with you
all the time Jeff."
(Jeff jumps at Terry, who is now laughing to himself, but Logan stops
him.)
LOGAN: "Alright, that's enough guys. The important thing is that we all
still have our titles."
(The Canucks both smirk at this, looking to their titles.)
XTJ: "Man, we pulled another one over on those people. How many times can
we do it Terry?"
TERRY: "I don't know man. These Americans are just so stupid. It's too
easy!"
(The crowd can be heard booing, even in the hallway. Logan holds his
hand up to his ear.)
LOGAN: "Hey, they finally figured out that we are now a stable. Man, they
are slow!"
(The three men chuckle as the boos continue.)
TERRY: "Well, I guess it's time to get another piece of gold into this
stable now. The Canucks are still the champs, but Logan will soon be a
double-champion."
LOGAN: "Yeah, when the night is over everyone will realize just how
dominant this stable is and just how dominant this stable will be. But, I
want you two to stay out of my match. I want to do this one myself."
TERRY: "Alright man. Don't beat him too badly."
(The three chuckle as The Canucks go one way down he hallway, while
Logan goes the other way. The view switches to the arena again as "Where Do
You Draw The Line" by From Autumn To Ashes starts to play throughout the
arena. Misery walks out from the back and down the ramp. He holds a
briefcase in his hand and a necklace with the key to said briefcase around
his neck. Around his waist is the cruiserweight championship belt. Price
climbs the steps and enters the ring, placing his briefcase just outside his
corner. He then waits in the corner for his opponent.)
HS: "Well, it seems that there has been an agreement between Logan and
The Canucks to have Terry James and Xtreme Jeff stay in the back."
FJ: "The Elite Canadian Wrestlers don't need each other to win a match.
It's just easier when they are together. Logan is still going to take both
falls this match. You'll see!"
("In the End" by Linkin Park starts to play through the arena. As the
actual lyrics start, Logan steps out onto the entrance ramp. He stops near
the top of the ramp and spreads his arms wide to bask in the mixed reaction
of the crowd and reveal the United States title around his waist. Logan
starts walking down the ramp glancing out towards the crowd on either side
of him. Once at ringside, he climbs the ring steps and goes between the top
and second rope, then walks around to each side of the ring encouraging the
crowd to respond. He removes his jacket and drops it to the outside of the
ring, while watching Price. The ref collects both of the belts from the
champions and raises them high into the air. He then hands the United States
championship to a ring-aide and raises the cruiserweight title up again to
show that the first fall will be for that title. He gives that belt to the
ring-aide as well before calling for the match to start. The bell rings and
both champions begin to pace around the ring, circling and waiting for the
right moment to strike the other.)
HS: "Alright, this first mini-match up of the match is a normal match for
the cruiserweight championship. You may only win the championship by
pin-fall or submission. Any other method of victory will result in the
champion retaining his belt."
FJ: "Why can't they just make it more fun and have it as a no
disqualification match?"
HS: "This is about the championships, not blood Frank."
FJ: "Pfft, that's what you think."
(The two wrestlers have finally come together, Price making the first
move as he goes for a stiff running lariat. Logan ducks his arm and looks
for a side-headlock takeover, but Price is able to roll through the takeover
and kip up to his feet out of the headlock. Logan gets up, but the quicker
Price catches him with a stiff roundhouse kick to the side. Logan stumbles
to the left, holding his right ribs. Price takes advantage of the moment and
whips Logan towards the ropes. However, Price holds on and turns the whip
around for a short-arm lariat. Logan ducks his arm again, though, and
continues with his momentum to take Price down with an arm-drag takeover.
Price gets up quickly, but Logan connects with a second arm-drag takeover.
Price gets up again and Logan goes for a third, but Price is able to stop
himself and counter the attempt into an explosive t-bone suplex! He covers
and the ref gets in position to count: One…Tw-Kick Out!)
HS: "That was a great display of both of these men's technical abilities.
The veteran ended up on top in that small battle, but Logan still has a lot
of energy in the tank."
FJ: "That sounds a lot like the action that happened last night between-"
HS: "Frank! We do not want to hear about your actions with other men on
your spare nights!"
(Price quickly mounts Logan and starts raining down punches, but the
United States champion is able to block most of them and roll out of the
predicament. Both men get to their feet at the same time, but Price is the
quickest to move for an attack. However, Logan quickly drops down and
catches Price with a drop toe-hold for his quickness. He floats over and
applies a STF! Price is close to the ropes, though, and he quickly places
his hand around them. Logan breaks the hold, but Price takes a second longer
to get up because of it anyway. Logan takes advantage, hitting Price with a
reverse atomic drop. The cruiserweight champion turns and hobbles off to the
side, holding his inner leg, and Logan quickly slams him down to the canvas
with a bulldog. Logan finishes off the combination by locking in an ankle
lock!)
FJ: "Logan is too much for Price!"
HS: "Like I said before Frank, Price is not so easily beaten. Although,
Logan is getting the better of the battle in this match up, so far."
(Logan doesn't have the ankle lock applied for more than a few seconds
as Price does a summersault on the spot to through Logan off and into the
ropes. Logan rebounds and Price catches him with a rolling legbar!)
HS: "The tables have turned!"
FJ: "I always though Price was a cool guy, especially with that briefcase
of his!"
(Logan struggles for a few moments before he claws himself towards the
ropes and raises his hand to grab them, but Price rolls himself over and
modifies the hold into a Texas cloverleaf, which gets a big pop from the
crowd! Logan is now at center-ring again, but he starts to claw to the ropes
again anyways.)
HS: "Logan is showing some resilience here as Price keeps pulling back on
that painful submission."
(Logan is within a few inches of the ropes now as he stretches his arm
to its fullest. He tires to inch closer, but the pain causes his arm to
shoot back. He tries again with the same result as the hold is taking its
toll now. Logan raises his hand again…)
HS: "Logan is going to submit!"
FJ: "I knew Price was going to win!"
HS: "That's funny. I though I just heard the sound of bull-"
FJ: "Nodding his head?"
HS: "No, not his head."
(Logan is about to tap, but he suddenly stops himself and goes for a
desperation lunge that is…successful! Price releases the hold and Logan
immediately tends to his leg.)
HS: "Well, both men are still down, but I can't help but think that the
damage has been done to Logan. Although, that hold probably took a lot out
of Price to maintain."
FJ: "See, I knew Logan would get out of the hold!"
HS: "I can hear that bull ‘nodding' again…"
(Price gets up to his feet while Logan struggles to get up using the
ropes. Price doesn't give Logan the time to do so, locking in a full nelson
and suplexing him to the canvas. Price pins and the ref goes down to count:
One…Two…Kick Out! Price gets up again and motions for the end as Logan
stumbles to the ropes for support. He pulls himself up and turns, getting
doubled over by a stiff kick to the gut. Price puts him in a position for a
powerbomb, but Logan suddenly stands up and takes Price over with a back
body drop!)
HS: "Logan just hit a second wind and it couldn't have come at a better
time for him!"
(Price is able to get up fairly quickly, but Logan takes him down with a
snapmare. He then bounces off the ropes and dropkicks Price in the back of
the head, sending his upper body into an awkward whiplash!)
HS: "That was a sickening dropkick from Logan!"
FJ: "I loved it!"
(Logan pins Price and the ref scurries down to the mat to count:
One…Two…Thr-Kick Out! Logan slams the mat in frustration, but quickly calms
himself down. He picks Price up and sends him back down with a body slam.
Logan climbs up to the top rope and waits for his opponent to rise to his
feet. The United States champion then leaps off and does a front-flip, going
for a Blockbuster-style Stryke Force! Price somehow scouts out the move,
though, and Logan lands flat on his back as Price ducks! Logan stumbles up
to his feet and looks for a reverse atomic drop, but Price floats over and
lands behind Logan. He locks his arms around his waist and goes for a
German, but Logan blocks it. He tries again and Logan blocks it again. Price
gives a few forearm shots to Logan's head, then tries it again, but Logan
once again blocks it. Price decides to change his route of attack as he
spins Logan around and hoists him up into a brainbuster suplex! Logan
counters and lands behind Price! He shoves Price forward into the ropes and
goes for the Stryke Force on the return, but Price shoves him off into the
corner! Logan stops himself and whips Price into the corner instead. Logan
quickly follows him in and spears him! Price doubles over, but Logan quickly
hoists him up onto the top turnbuckle before climbing up himself.)
HS: "Logan is going for a superplex here!"
FJ: "Good old high-risk manoeuvres…"
(Logan hooks Price's head for the superplex, but Price starts to fight
back with punches to the mid-section. He gets Logan to release the suplex,
and goes for a swinging inverted DDT to counter, but this time Logan shoves
him off! Price goes flying and does a belly-flop onto the canvas. Price
holds his chest in pain as he immediately jumps up in pain. Logan leaps off
for another attempt at the Blockbuster and nails it! Price flips onto his
back from the impact and lies there.)
HS: "Logan got every bit of that move in! Price isn't moving a muscle!"
FJ: "I think he's knocked out!"
(Logan quickly hooks Price's leg and the ref goes down to count:
One…Two…Three! The ref calls for the bell, but the match continues under the
two-fall rule.)
HS: "We have a new cruiserweight champion!"
FJ: "That's right! I was right! See! I was right!"
HS: "Good job Frank. Cherish the moment, for it is a rare one."
(Logan raises his hands in victory, but then realizes he still has to
pin Price one more time in this match. He quickly covers again and the ref
is there to count: One…Two…Thre-Price gets his shoulder up!)
HS: "I can't believe Price is still ticking."
FJ: "I have a feeling his clock has been rung for good. Logan is
definitely going to take this next mini-match up."
(Logan can't believe Price was still conscious enough to move at all,
but he keeps himself from freaking out. Instead, Logan helps Price up to his
feet and puts on a full arm twist. He then flips over for a leg
drop-assisted facebuster, but Price somehow flips himself over to untangle
his arm, then rolls through into the ropes to avoid the rocker dropper.
Logan lands flat on his ass, but is quick to get up. Price charges in for a
running lariat, but Logan catches his arm and goes for an arm-drag takeover.
Price lands on his feet, though, and pulls Logan into him. He then hits an
explosive t-bone suplex out of nowhere! Logan is down, but Price doesn't
have enough energy to get a pin at the moment.)
HS: "Price is making a comeback here!"
FJ: ‘Well, he doesn't look too good making it right now. He can't even
rolls over to pin Logan."
(Price eventually does roll over, but he doesn't pin Logan. Instead, he
pulls Logan up and drives his head into the canvas with a tiger driver!
Price pins and the ref goes down to count: One…Two…Thr-Logan gets his
shoulder up! Price rolls off, an apparent second wind hitting him, as Logan
rolls over to his stomach. Price immediately goes to hook in his half-crab
finisher, but Logan was playing possum and takes Price down with a drop
toe-hold! He holds onto the leg and gets up, instantly locking in the Chaos
Breaker!)
HS: "Logan has his signature submission hold hooked in and I don't think
Price has enough energy left to get to the ropes!"
(Price doesn't give in, despite the excruciating pain, and starts to
crawl to the ropes. However, Logan pulls him into the middle of the ring,
keeping the hold in tact. Price has no choice but to tap out after a few
more moments of pain!)
HS: "Well, we officially have a new double-champion in the AWA! Logan has
out-wrestled Price tonight."
FJ: "Who called it? I did!"
(Suddenly, "Give It All" by Rise Against replaces Logan's music and The
Canucks come down the ramp, adorning the same facial expression as Logan. In
their hands are their tag team titles, along with some sort of bundle that
Terry is holding.)
HS: "Great. Here comes the gloating…"
FJ: "You mean: here come the champs!"
(The Canucks enter the ring and shake hands with Logan, who puts one
championship over his shoulder to make a hand free. Terry calls for a mike
and raises it to speak, although the crowd is already booing. The Storm just
chuckles and calls for more. Eventually, they run out of energy, or simply
give up.)
TERRY: "Well, I'd say that match was about as one-sided as a spelling bee
between a Texan and anyone else in the world! Tonight, Price played that
‘Texan' roll!"
(The crowd boos loudly at this, but the three champions seem to enjoy
the comment.)
TERRY: "So, I'm going to save this man the shame of the loss by hiding
him from your eyes."
(Terry tosses the mike and suddenly unravels the bundle he had in his
hand. Terry, Logan and XTJ place it over Price and the overhead view of the
ring catches exactly what it is: a Canadian flag with ECW written in the
middle of it, resembling the display they used Holly for earlier.)
HS: "They are just disgracing Jayson price now!"
FJ: "I'd say Price got the nice version of the flag coverage in
comparison to Holly…"
(The three Canadians stand beside one another and grab a hold of a
championship in each hand, raising all four of them at the same time. "Boom"
by POD plays from mid-way in the song as ECW basks in their own glory.)
HS: "Well, I hate to say it, but the Elite Canadian Wrestlers are looking
strong right now. I can't help but wonder what impact this will have on the
AWA."
FJ: "From the looks of it: a damn good one!"
(We show another commercial of the lineage of the AWA World Heavyweight Championship, leading up to and hyping the Williams/Williams match tonight. From there we fade in to show Mark Keller standing next to Nathan Hawthorne-Lee who is in full wrestling gear and looks ready for his match later tonight.)
MK: "Hello everyone. I'm Mark Keller and I'm standing besides a man who is on the path of vengeance tonight. Nathan, what are your thoughts and emotions heading into the match tonight?"
NHL: "I feel nothing, Mark. After what I've been through, I don't feel anything. I feel no remorse for any actions I've done leading up to tonight. I feel no compassion for Brian Stevens and his band of misfits. I feel no sympathy for the fans that will witness one of the most brutal attempts to win a wrestling match ever in the AWA."
MK: "Coming fresh off what may be the worst few weeks of your life, do you have any words for your opponent tonight?"
NHL: "What I do feel though is pitty for your job. You ask the most obvious and idiotic questions, Mark. Get the hell out of here."
(NHL shoves Mark Keller out of the way and the camera zooms in on NHL's face.)
NHL: "Brian, I hope you're listening, because I want you to understand something. Tonight isn't just a wrestling match. Tonight isn't just about whom is better than whom. Tonight is about me beating the ever living SHIT out of you. Tonight is about the master of the SlapShot driving your round head into the canvas, the concrete, the announcer's table, a steel chair, the ring steps, Mark Keller's Pinto, ANYTHING that I want to do, I will do it! There are no rules in this match. We are free to do what we want. Our match is barely sanctioned by the AWA. THAT's how bad it will be. I would suggest getting your affairs in order. Draft up your last willing testament because tonight, you will NOT be returning to your locker room. And tonight, I get to emancipate my wife from your wrongful abduction you stupid sack of SHIT!"
(With that, NHL spikes the mic off the ground as we switch back to Herb and Frank.)
HS: "I don't like the feel of this match."
FJ: "Herb, EVERYONE says that right before a match. In fact, if I had to put a nickel in a jar for every time a moron said that and that outcome DIDN'T happen, I wouldn't be sitting here anymore, that's for damn sure."
OUTLINE OF EVENTS FOR HAPPY VS. HANGMAN
The Introductions
------------------
("Sleep Now in the Fire" by Rage Against The Machine blares over the PA as columns of pyros on either side of the ramp erupt. Small, flickering flames of fire highlight a path to the ring. The curtain parts and out emerges the Behemoth of the AWA atop a pitch black steed. The horse's gait is purposeful as it meanders down the ramp, yet once The Hangman sees several AWA security guards at ringside, he spurs the horse on into a mad gallop, causing the men to leap over the guard rail. Sneering at the guards, The Hangman reaches into his trench coat and pulls out a branding iron, holding it defiantly into the air as the horse rears back and whinnies. Dismounting the horse, The Hangman rolls underneath the bottom rope and stands back up in the center of the ring. Sneering at the audience, he then shoots out his tongue till the tip of it reaches under his chin. After it runs across the underside, he reels it back in, chatters his teeth for a moment, and then glares back up towards the ramp.)
("They Know Who You Are" by Powerman 5000 rips through the PA as a bright, yellow light blasts out from the entrance ramp to engulf The Hangman. Fog begins to rise up from the entrance ramp as the silhouette of none other than Mr. Jack B. Happy is now seen. Briefcase in one hand and circus maul in the other, he makes his way purposefully to the ring, glaring at The Hangman as The Hangman's head lolls to one side, a blank stare being shot back at the clown. Jack's usually happy demeanor is not there as he slams the cirus maul on the outside of the apron. The action causes The Hangman to snap out of his loll and, as Jack enters into the ring, the slugfest between cirus hammer and branding iron sets things off.)
EARLY MOMENTS (Highlights from the first ten minutes of the match)
------------------------------------------------------
The Hangman uses his brutish strength to weather the initial, weapon slugfest and gain the upperhand. Outside of the ring, The Hangman rams Happy into the steel steps and focuses on his back, slamming him into the edge of the ring apron. Inside the ring, he puts on a clinic of high impact moves military pressing Jack and, after an Irish Whip into the ropes followed by a quick succession of move-countermove, The Hangman stuns everyone by pulling out a Southern Comfort Slam. Only getting a two count, the Behemoth is enraged and sits Jack up on the top rope, looking outside at the announcer's table. Smiling sadistically, The Hangman climbs up with Jack and attempts to powerbomb Jack out onto the table. However, The Hangman is not at home on the top and Jack slides over and behind The Hangman, grabbing onto his neck and pulling both of them back towards the middle of the ring....a Happy Daze from the top rope! Both men lay motionless in the middle of the ring, but momentum has clearly turned from such a move and Jack is the first one to his feet, albeit barely.
WARMING UP TO THE CARNAGE (Highlights from the next ten minutes of the match)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jack goes on the offensive now, blasting The Hangman with flurries of punches never before seen from the clown. Grabbing the circus maul, he racks The Hangman and then does something that causes parents to cover their children's eyes. Taking the hammer, he begins driving it down over The Hangman's entire body (ala Ronnie Garvin's Stomp he used to do on opponents). Clearly, Jack has snapped. Going over to the briefcase, he opens it as scores and scores of newspaper articles fly out. Jack is laughing as if experiencing a fit of incurable mania and, yet, tears are racing down his face. He sits down next to The Hangman and props him up with one arm as he begins reading some of the headlines of the articles...articles so old they're yellowed from age and they begin to crumble apart in Jack's hands. Seeing the papers disintegrate snaps Jack out of the eerie mood, if only momentarily. Grabbing the briefcase, he SLAMS it into Hangman's face in an attempt to further incapacitate the fallen foe. Dragging him towards a corner of the ring, Jack now ascends the top to attempt a patented BellyBomb. As he arches back and lolls his head back to get ready for the fall, The Hangman shows frightening speed as he pops up, catches Jack, and does a fallaway slam to regain the upper hand once more.
THE OTHERS BEGIN TO SHOW (Highlights up to the halfway point of the match)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Hangman now fights with an incensed passion. There is no high impact display..just sheer, brutality. He rams Jack repeatdly with the branding iron and takes the action outside once more as he reaches under the ring to grab a bottle of JD, take a hearty swig, and then SMASH it over Jack's head. Taking the action back inside the ring, he hits ANOTHER Southern Comfort Slam, but is only able to score a 2 and 3/4's count. Infuriated, he pushes Travis Gray. Surprised when Travis pushes him back, he lashes out and grabs Travis by the throat, choking him as he reels him in close to his face, spending time to jaw at him. Jack recovers and Clownkicks The Hangman to the back of the head. The Hangman immediately lets go of Travis, but instead of crumpling to the mat, he shoots a glare over his shoulder at Jack. The two begin another slugfest, only for it to end up with The Hangman putting Jack into his patented Bearhug. Jack screams out in pain and then the crowd is shocked as a rope slowly descends from the rafter....hangman's noose tied to the end of it. Jack bravely tries to fight out of his predictament and momentarily succeeds, yet he is unaware of the rope lowering behind him. The Hangman lunges for the rope and puts it around Jack's neck....and the rope draws taut beginning to lift Jack to the rafters. At this point, "Hella Good" blares over the PA and out steps Luscious Lori! The Hangman turns his attention towards Jack's wife, letting his tongue shoot out again, this time more suggestively. Unbeknownst to The Hangman, Jack's semi-conscious form regains absolute consciousness as his eyes widen, regarding The Hangman. The rope begins to LOWER and Jack is now back in the ring, on his feet. As The Hangman senses something isn't right, he turns around and gets a eyeful of Jack's blood as Jack spits it right into The Hangman's face, blinding him. Jack follows it up with a clothesline that turns him inside out, and then Jack goes to the outside to get something he's very comfortable using....a steel chair. Jack blasts The Hangman several times with the chair and then applies The Happy Ending as the crowd goes wild. Little do they know that others are still to show....
THE OTHERS FINISH SHOWING (Highlights 30-40 minutes into the match)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Make Me Bad" by Korn now blares through the PA as everyone's attention....even Jack's and The Hangman's...turns to the ramp. Out emerges the veiled...Julissa? She makes her way towards the apron, opposite of where Lori now stands as Jack redoubles his efforts at getting The Hangman to tap out. However, The Hangman fights through the pain, regarding his future "Bride." After regarding The Hangman's plight for a moment, she then extends her arms out, palms upward. The Hangman's eyes widen as if in some kind of acknowledgement. As she raises her arms up over her head, The Hangman stuns the crowd once more as he powers out of the move and Somoa Drops Mr. Happy. Lori and "Julissa" spur their men back to their feet and they renew a wicked exchange of knife edge chops, this time, with Jack getting the upper hand as he sends The Hangman outside to the floor below. Trying to buy time, The Hangman tries putting some distance himself and Jack, only to find out that Jack is fast on his feet and is evermore relentless. Jack presses his advantage and slams The Hangman into the other set of steel steps...gaining some vengeance from earlier in the match. Leading The Hangman over to the announcer's table (as Herb and Frank head for safer shelter), he sets the behemoth up on the table and delivers a few shots from the timekeeper's bell to keep The Behemoth subdued. What happens next is jaw dropping as Jack scales the top turnbuckle and dives off with a corkscrew plancha on his fallen adversary ( i.e. The Killing Joke). Both men lie motionless for a good couple of minutes before Jack slowly....SLOWLY crawls towards The Hangman to pin him. As he does so, the crowd lets out a chorus of boos as "Big Gun" by AC/DC blares through the speakers now. Snakebite shoots out of the back like a bullet shot out from a gun, running towards Jack and breaking up the count outside. Hangman's brother lays into Jack with a flurry of boots and punches before rolling him back inside the ring and helping Hangman come to. As the duo now conspire to end the match in true Lone Star Outlaw fashion, they could not forsee....
THE TRUTH RIPPED OPEN (Highlights 40-50 minutes into the match)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Climbing to the top turnbuckle, Snakebite was waiting to perform a lethal move that he and his brother have performed so many times it was second nature to them. What Snakebite did not plan for, was Lori inserting herself into the match now. As Snakebite coiled back, ready to lash out, Lori grabbed his right ankle and before he could react, jumped down off the apron to rack Snakebite on the top turnbuckle. Unaware, Hangman shot Mr. Happy in Snakebite's direction anticipating the spear. Instead, as Jack flew up, he saw Snakebite's plight and furthered his dilemma by unleashing a NASTY clothesline that sent The Hangman's brother crashing to the unforgiving concrete below. As The Hangman got up to assess what he thought would be the carnage of Jack Happy splayed out across the mat, his gaze turned to one of shock as he looked up to see Jack Happy peering back up at him. Quickly, Jack ripped off his own mask and showed a red and black one to The Hangman as The Behemoth's head lolled to the side once more as if trying to understand. 'Old School' Jack delivered a lightning fast punch to Hangman's face to snap him out of it. The Hangman responded in kind with a vicious boot to Happy's head, nearly taking it off. As Jack barely was moving around on his side, The Hangman slid outside and procured...a second bottle of Jack Daniels! Sliding back in, he sat it down in the corner and went over to Jack, who was lying even more still now....seemingly knocked out. Reaching down as if to pull Jack up to his feet, he was shocked to find Jack reach up to his face, as if to grab his mask. Though the move didn't seem to be much as The Hangman recoiled instantly, we see Jack make his way back up to his feet. The Hangman went back to the far turnbuckle where the bottle of JD is...the camera focusing more on the bottle than The Hangman. Cutting to the other turnbuckle, we see Jack reach into his boot as he pulls out a large match, Lori handing him a bottle with some liquid in it right on cue. As both men cautiously back up towards each other, both turn around at the same time, launching a fireball at each other! However, Jack is just a split second faster and his fireball not only engulfs Hangman's, but it continues on towards The Hangman. The Behemoth bellows out in pain, covering up as he sits in the far corner. Jack looks down at the mat and the camera follows as we see....a large chunk of Hangman's mask ripped off!!! The Hangman slowly rises. The screams of pain suddenly turn into....laughter? As The Hangman opens his arms up from around his face, we see the diagonal tear in the mask revealing Aaron's face. The crowd starts chanting 'Aaron!' 'Aaron!' 'Aaron!' Jack's eyes widen this time as he sees the inevitable revelation between man and destructive force of nature. The tempo in the ring picks up to a flurry of Irish Whip manuevers, ending with The Hangman delivering a San Antonio Cyclone to Jack as the 'Aaron!' chants resume. Rising to his feet, The Hangman gets infuriated at the fans, screaming at them and getting debris thrown at him for his tirade. Knowing that he needed to put an end to this, The Hangman was not ready for....
THE CONCLUSION (50 minutes - 58:31 and post-match)
-------------------------------------------------------------
Pulling Jack back up, The Hangman pushed him into the turnbuckle, instinctively grabbing him in a headlock. Eyes wide in recollective shock, he extends an arm up in the air, gesturing the longhorn gesture as the crowd lets out a deranged cheer. The Hangman goes for a bulldog...another hallmark of Aaron's....only for Jack to push him off and send him crashing sternum-first into the far turnbuckle. As The Hangman slowly backs a couple of feet out of the corner, he's turned around, booted to the gut and given a Happy Daze as the crowd explodes into cheers! Flipping him onto his stomach, Mr. Happy administers The Happy Ending once again. The Hangman bellows out in pain once more, his arms outstretching as he desperately seeks the ropes as if to get some kind of leverage out of the hold. Jack has it cinched in tight and The Hangman begins to rethink his strategy. Managing to turn slightly onto his right side, he greets Jack with a hate-filled glare and shoots a hand up towards Jack's face, engulfing it in a clawhold that causes Jack to yell out in pain, but Jack still manages to keep The Happy Ending on The Hangman. The Hangman shifts his gaze back towards the ropes and where "Julissa" is at. With his other hand, he starts reaching out towards the ropes again. This time, "Julissa" extends her hand out towards The Hangman almost as if giving him a choice: the ropes or her. In a final lunge, The Hangman reaches out and grabs.....her hand. Meanwhile, Jack squirms in The Hangman's clawhold and manages to pull his head back. As he does so, the red and black mask comes off, still in The Hangman's hands, as we see Jack in yet another yellow and black evil smiley faced mask. After several moments, The Hangman's body lies still as Travis raises The Hangman's hand he used for the claw and checks to see if he's still conscious. When it drops for the third time, Travis calls for the bell. Jack, himself spent, tries to stand up, but collapses back on the mat, eyes staring up at the lights for several moments.
Eventually, Jack rolls out of the ring to be with his wife as the two share in an embrace and begin to make their way up the ramp. Halfway up, Lori looks back towards the ring and gets Jack's attention to look back up as well. The camera pans back to the ring on their cue, and we see the veiled "Julissa" in the ring, her back to the fallen form of The Hangman as she looks at both Jack and Lori intently. Unbeknownst to her, The Hangman slowly rises back up and stalks in behind her. The crowd is screaming and both Jack and Lori try to alert her to what everyone else is seeing but her. Right behind her now, The Hangman bends down and takes a sniff of her neck, his upper lip twitching somewhat before letting his tongue shoot out again and run across the underside of his chin. In a lightning fast move, his right hand lashes out and rips off her veil! As he does so, we see Myara now, her hair washed over the left side of her face, her brown eye wide in fear. Yet, suddenly, she flips her hair to cover the right side of her face now and this time it's everyone else's turn to gasp as they see an emerald-green, left eye! The Hangman pulls her in close with his left hand as the rope with the hangman's noose lowers once again. Shooting his right up up through the noose and grabbing hold of the rope, he tugs on it as they both ascend to the rafters above and, out of our view.
HS: "What a great match up we had there between Jack Happy and The Hangman."
FJ: "Wait, that green eye...what's up with that. It looks familiar, but it isn't."
HS: "Hmm..."
HS: "Ladies and gentlemen, coming up next we have one hell of a great match scheduled."
FJ: "Great match? It's more like a death match between these two combatants."
HS: "Almost one month ago, Brian Stevens has abducted the wife of Nathan Hawthorne-Lee in an attempt to force NHL into defendind the AWA World Heavyweight Championship back when he was the title holder. Since losing the title, NHL has been a raging, out of control maniac outside of the ring, but inside of the ring, he hasn't been the same."
FJ: "I believe that the mind games the Sensational One has been playing on Nathan have been getting the better of his judgment as well as his daily routine. He's seemed slightly more out of breath these past few weeks, but his adrenaline seems to be working overtime and in overdrive to compensate. Will that adrenaline allow NHL to get the W over Stevens for the fourth time?"
HS: "We'll find out now, I guess."
(Green, blue, red, and white lights flash as we hear the beginnings of an orchestra playing their tuning chord before they start playing. After that we hear a chorus sing two notes and then the heavy riff of "Symphony of Destruction" by Megadeth begins to play around the arena. NHL emerges from the back and stands at the base of the ramp for a few seconds. He looks down at the ramp with a focused look in his face and then moves down the ramp after standing there for about 10 seconds. As he walks towards the ring, his focus and intensity is emanating from him as the fans around him cheer his name and scream for his victory.)
HS: "As we can see, NHL has changed his entire demeanor by the cause of Brian Stevens' illegal abduction of Nathan's wife, Sarah Hawthorne."
FJ: "But, what NHL has done is make an agreement with the Feds that all charges be waived for the sole purpose of NHL kicking the living hell out of Brian Stevens."
HS: "And as the song goes, can NHL create a "Symphony of Destruction" on Brian Stevens?"
FJ: "I hope these questions get answered in this No Holds Barred match."
(NHL walks around ringside and up the ring steps by the time keeper before entering the ring and climbing the opposite turnbuckle. He raises his arms in the air and then points to himself and the ring. He hops down and heads to the adjacent corner and hops onto the second turnbuckle and raises his arms into the air and then lowers his left hand, leaving his right arm in the air before hopping down into the ring. The lights slowly dim in the arena and the fans start booing immediately, knowing full well the man about to make his entrance. "Jet Black New Year" by Thursday hits over the PA System and white strobes start dancing, coordinated to the intro. As the secondary intro hits, red flashing lights accompany the white strobes, still mingling frantically with the songs beat as "The Sensational" Brian Stevens emerges from the back with Onslaught following, holding a chain attached to the neck of Sarah Hawthorne. Sarah's wearing a tight, black t-shirt and black, tight shorts complete with "hooker shoes" with a sole 6 inches thick.. Stevens stands atop the entrance ramp, shooting the crowd his trademark smirk as cockily as ever. A wind machine starts blowing and a smoke machine accompanies, adding a feeling of certain chaos. The uniquely colored but expertly styled jet black hair of Stevens moves wildly with the wind but never seems out of place as it falls around his eyes. But then, finally, Brian Stevens unzips his track jacket and exposes his physique. Stevens screams something that is inaudible to us as he starts making his way down the ramp with Onslaught and Sarah following, playing off the hatred emitting from the fans only the way this smug upstart can.)
HS: "I can't believe that he has the audacity to bring her to this match! And in that defiling form is just utterly disgusting to me!"
FJ: "Hey, she looks very 'shapely' in that outfit and it leaves almost nothing to the imagination."
(Stevens stops at the bottom of the ramp and points to Sarah and "shows her off" to her husband. NHL is about to slide out of the ring, but Stevens' personal security stops NHL from doing that, coming seemingly out of nowhere. NHL turns around, walks back towards the opposite side of the ring, and puts his hands on his hips. Then, NHL breaks a full run towards the ropes, hops over them, and hits a suicide senton splash on the entire security force.)
HS: "OH MY! NHL JUST HIT A SENTON SPLASH OVER THE TOP ROPE!"
FJ: "He means business tonight!"
(NHL rolls to his feet and charges Stevens, but then Onslaught comes from the side and blindsides NHL with a 2x4 to the left arm. Onslaught takes Sarah's leash and escorts her towards the ring while NHL is being stomped on by Stevens.)
HS: "What a coward! A complete and utter coward!"
FJ: "MMOOOO!"
HS: "What the hell is that for?"
FJ: "You keep on saying udder."
HS: "Utter, with double t's, not double d's."
FJ: "I think Sarah has double D's."
(As Herb is seen slapping his own forehead, we turn to see Onslaught tying Sarah's leash to the ringpost near the time keeper's table. Onslaught turns to walk away but Sarah unleashes a fierce kick to Onslaught's ass. Onslaught jumps forward then turns around. As he walks towards Sarah, Sarah unleashes another kick to Onslaught's crotch.)
HS: "I think that one shattered the family jewels."
(Another camera catches Stevens dragging NHL to the ring by his left foot. The crowd on the isleway is completely booing Brian Stevens, but Brian doesn't care. Brian stops at the ring and raises his hands into the air, but as he's showboating to the negative jeers of the mass crowd, NHL kicks Stevens' ass and he is shoved into the ring apron, cracking his head off the edge. NHL hops to his feet and starts some stomps of his own. The crowd is getting louder with every stomp, but then NHL stops and the crowd begins to boo. NHL shrugs his shoulders and stomps some more on Stevens' body and skull, the cheers returning to the void of the jeers. NHL brings Stevens to his feet and rolls him into the ring. The referee calls for the bell and the match is now officially under way.)
FJ: "Wait, this match wasn't officially started?"
HS: "No it wasn't Frank. I guess we were so absorbed with what was going on that we must have forgotten about the real task at hand, and that's this No Holds Barred match that may or may not have some chain wrestling."
FJ: "I like wrestling. I like violence."
(NHL drops a knee into the back of Stevens, but Stevens rolls out of the way and avoids the contact. NHL gets up and the two men lock up in the collar and elbow tie up. NHL kicks Stevens in the left shin and drops an implant DDT on Stevens and then slaps on a side headlock.)
HS: "NHL is utilizing some good chain wrestling to start this match up."
FJ: "It's not fun anymore for Stevens."
(NHL drags Stevens to his feet and NHL runs towards the ropes and hits a bulldog on Brian, but Brian rolls out of the ring and scampers away. NHL slides out and hits a baseball slide, knocking Stevens into the announce table. Stevens slams his hands down on the table and turns towards the ring, but NHL hits Stevens with another baseball slide that knocks him to the ground. NHL slides out of the ring, picks Stevens up and whips him into the guard rail, but Stevens reverses it and sends NHL into the steel instead. NHL grabs his back as Stevens comes up and starts to punch NHL in the head several times before he blocks it and punches Stevens in the gut. Stevens reels back, but NHL grabs him and whips him into the barricade. NHL grabs Stevens' legs and lifts him up and over the guard rail and onto the concrete floor. We see several fans dropping stuff on Stevens as he makes attempts to get to his feet, but fans start to kick him and stomp on him.)
FJ: "HEY! They can't do that!"
HS: "Good for him. That's what you get for doing something aweful as what Stevens did."
(As Stevens' security walks over to the area to help him, NHL runs to his wife and tries to free her, but he can't as she is cuffed. NHL eyes up Onslaught who is sitting in a chair by the time keeper's table with the key around his neck. Onslaught gets to his feet and walks towards NHL and the two stare into each other's eyes. NHL falls into Onslaught who grabs NHL by the throat and slams him into the apron. Stevens, the one who clubbed NHL in the head, pats his buddy on the back as Onslaught returns to his seat. Stevens walks up to Sarah and grabs a handful of her right breast before licking the left side of her face and neck. Sarah screams and it's those screams that cause NHL to refuel and he pops up from the floor, grabs Stevens by his long, jet black hair, and whips him over the guard rail again on the other side of ringside.)
HS: "Sick, sick stuff there by Stevens!"
FJ: "Hey, Herb...uh, do we get tapes of this stuff at all?"
HS: "You know we do. Why?"
FJ: "Because I think I'm going to watch this match alone in my room with candles lit and nothing on but my birthd-"
HS: "Oh, that's SICK! Don't talk like that, please. I feel like vomitting all over you."
FJ: "What??"
(NHL hops over the guard rail, but Stevens' security team is there to stop NHL from attacking him outside of the ringside area. NHL struggles to free himself, but then the camera switches to show actual arena security coming out. They are all sporting bruises and handkerchiefs around their necks and some have ropes around them. They start to engage in a brawl with the security bought by Brian Stevens. As the Sensational Security Squad is being dismantled by guys who look like bouncers at the Playboy Mansion, NHL is free to hop the guard rail once more and take the fight back to Stevens who is slowly stumbling away from NHL.)
HS: "Stevens is running like a scalded dog! Look at him run!"
FJ: "Scalded dog? Where the hell do you get this stuff? What's next, a government mule whipping?"
HS: "It's in the handbook..."
(NHL walks hurriedly towards Stevens and as he approaches Stevens, Stevens turns around and nails NHL with a fork to the forhead! Stevens starts to stab NHL's face with that fork. Sometimes it pierces the skin, sometimes it doesn't, but there is now some blood trickling from NHL's forhead, cheeks, chin, and nose. Stevens doesn't relent with his assault. Suddenly, NHL grabs Stevens by the throat while Stevens is dragging the fork across NHL's forhead and eyebrow line drawing some blood that is trapped under NHL's skin and capilaries. NHL gives Stevens one shot to the side of the temple and the impact of the punch causes Stevens to jerk his arm with the fork and it goes flying to the side. NHL gets up and scrambles towards the fork, but Stevens grabs a hold of NHL's leg and stops him. NHL, with his free foot, kicks Stevens in the face, opening up a nice cut to Stevens' left cheek. NHL reaches the fork and gets to his feet. Stevens is kneeling holding a hand to the cut to his cheek that is releasing a good amount of blood down the side of Stevens' head.)
FJ: "What a fierce battle we are witnessing!"
HS: "It went from excellently executed chain wrestling to an all out brawl that has also spawned a brawl between arena security and Stevens' personal security group."
FJ: "But that fight is almost done though...Stevens' guys don't have what it takes to take on the real deal...I'm sad now."
HS: "If you look on the monitor to your left, you can see NHL trying to stab Stevens with that fork reminiscient of Abdullah the Butcher."
FJ: "I miss Abdullah. He was cool."
(Stevens is able to free the fork from NHL's hand and he drives it into the right quad of NHL. Stevens pulls out only a couple centimeters because of NHL's wrestling pants, they absorbed most of the blow. NHL kicks Stevens in the groin, grabs the fork from Stevens' hand, and then spears him to the ground. NHL drives the fork down into Stevens' stomach, but Stevens is able to grab NHL's arm from doing the deed. Stevens knees NHL in the stomach and NHL punches Stevens in the face and drives the fork about half of an inch into Stevens stomach because of Stevens resiliency and the fact that he almost stopped it again. NHL gets off Stevens and chucks the fork into the crowd knowing that it's a deadlocked battle with that dumb fork.)
FJ: "I wonder if anyone caught the fork in the face."
HS: "Why don't you go out there and see for yourself, huh?"
FJ: "Geez, you don't need to be mean about it. Look at Sarah. She's just looking at me lustfully with those eyes."
HS: "Frank, she's asking you go take the key off Onslaught to free her."
FJ: "How do you know?"
HS: "Because she's mouthing 'Help Me!', that's why."
FJ: "Screw that. I don't want any of Onslaught. He might Boof me to the next century."
(NHL turns around and gets greeted with a chair to the head. Stevens slams the chair into the back of NHL several more times, denting and warping the chair into a huge "L" shape. Stevens tosses the chair to the side and grabs Nathan by his right foot and begins to drag him towards ringside. Stevens wipes off the blood from his left cheek and spits out some that has crept into his mouth. Stevens gets to the guard rail and brings NHL to his feet and whips him over the rail. NHL lands on his back right in front of his frightened wife. Sarah lets loose a scream as she surveys the damage that Brian has done to her husband. Nathan tries to get up to his feet, but he can't. Stevens barks an order to Onslaught and Stevens reaches under the ring and pulls out a 10 foot ladder!)
HS: "Frank! A ladder! Do you remember what happened last year at this event?"
FJ: "At Revelations last year, this is where Stevens stole Nathan's life! This is where HENRY was able to run free!"
HS: "Is this whole thing a sick attempt to get Henry back?"
FJ: "I wouldn't doubt it because I'm sure Brian wants a life where he doesn't have to look over his shoulder every time he walks into an arena."
HS: "He asked for it his entire AWA tenure here."
(Onslaught picks up NHL and has him face him as Stevens has the ladder set up. Stevens charges the ladder towards Nathan, but then Sarah kicks her husband in the gut and NHL bends over from the pain just as the ladder was about to hit him. Instead, Onslaught is met right in the face with the ladder and he falls backwards and onto his stomach grabbing his face and kicking his legs from the pain. Stevens shakes his head in shame as he slides the ladder into the ring.)
HS: "What great, quick thinking on the part of Sarah Hawthorne."
FJ: "Yeah, if it wasn't for her, Nathan might have been permanently out on his feet."
(Stevens slides NHL into the ring and sets up the ladder on its side. Stevens rolls NHL between the ladder's legs and then closes it. Stevens hops onto the second turnbuckle and then leaps off hitting a leg drop onto the ladder. Stevens rolls around the ring reaching for his ass and hamstrings from the impact and NHL has rolled out of the ladder and is coughing up blood.)
HS: "It looks like NHL may have some internal injuries."
FJ: "Either that or NHL busted up his mouth from that impact."
HS: "Good observation."
(NHL rolls onto his stomach, but Stevens grabs the ladder and drops it on NHL's legs. Stevens jumps into the air and double stomps the ladder and jumps up and down on it while NHL screams and cries in agony from what Stevens is doing to NHL's legs. Brian gets off the ladder and sets it up in the corner turnbuckle. NHL is brought to his feet by Stevens, but NHL's legs are all wobbly and he can hardly stand. Stevens whips NHL into the ladder, but NHL falls and propells Stevens into the ladder himself. Stevens lands face first as NHL is struggling to gain balance on his feet. Stevens falls to the mat on his back and then the ladder follows, hitting him in the face. NHL grabs the ladder and slides it through the bottom and middle ropes. NHL stomps on Stevens and then steps on the ladder and kicks him in the head. Stevens is on the mat and NHL brings him to his feet once more. Stevens turns around and NHL hops on the top rope, but then leaps off, sitting on the ladder causing it to catapault up into the bottom jaw of Stevens. The impact launches Stevens back a few feet to his back and NHL falls out of the ring and the ladder slides down on top of him.)
HS: "I can't believe the carnage out here!"
FJ: "I thought this was a No Holds Barred match! They aren't using holds, they are using WEAPONS!"
HS: "The referee for this match is using a very leniant system of judging what is a hold and what isn't and it seems as though he's letting these two men settle their differences tonight in an attempt to cease the drama."
FJ: "That'll never happen. They are like Yin and Yang. Black and White. Action and Reaction."
(NHL shoves the ladder off his back and struggles to get to his feet. Onslaught is standing nearby and he grabs the ladder. He swings it like a baseball bat and hits NHL with it the back. NHL drops to one knee and Onslaught slides it into the ring once he sees that Stevens is almost up. Stevens lines up the ladder to where NHL is and then runs back and baseball slides into the ladder but NHL catches it! He stops the ladder from hitting him and he instead shoves it back towards Brian and then rolls into the ring with a CHAIR in his hand! Stevens is on his ass backing up towards the ropes with his arms extended, pleading with NHL. NHL raises the ladder into the air and then drops it behind him. Stevens lowers his head in relief and when he raises it, he's met with a foot to the side of his skull. NHL brings Stevens up to his feet and then raises him into the air and then DROPS him onto his skull with the SlapShot on the steel chair! NHL goes for the cover...)
HS: "...ONE...TWO.- What?! NHL has just raises Stevens' shoulders from the mat!"
FJ: "And so the downfall of NHL begins."
HS: "No, Nathan is not finished with his punishment of his wife's captor."
(NHL whips Stevens into the ropes and NAILS a spine shattering spine buster. NHL mounts Stevens and starts to jab away at Stevens' bloody skull. Shot after shot, NHL's white tape on his right hand is receiving more and more red with every shot to Stevens' face. After about ten shots, NHL releases Stevens' head and brings him to his feet and latches on an arm bar. Stevens winces from the pain and then NHL wrenches the arm and then drops an elbow on it, forcing Stevens to the mat. NHL applies a reverse chin lock and works the neck and back muscles of the challenger in an attempt to wear him down.)
HS: "Nathan Hawthorne-Lee, a great mat tactitian, is working the body of Brian Stevens in an attempt to weaken him for another pinning opportunity if indeed NHL decides to take one."
FJ: "Are you kidding me? NHL won't do that. He will beat him senseless until Stevens CAN'T go on, then the match will be called. That's probably what will happen. Either that or Stevens will come back and beat the hell out of Nathan."
(NHL releases the chin lock and then grabs Stevens around his waist and lifts him to his feet. Then NHL launches back with a German suplex and brings Stevens to his feet once again. NHL whips Brian into the ropes, but Stevens ducks a clothesline and instead hits a bulldog. Stevens grabs NHL's arm and applies a triangle choke armbar on NHL.)
HS: "And here's where Brian's Mixed Martial Arts background comes into play. Here is where Brian accels at. When he puts you in a hold, you better tap out immediately for fear of permanent limb damage."
(NHL uses all of the power of his already weakened legs and he rolls over and pins Stevens' shoulders to the mat...)
HS: "...ONE...TW- And Stevens breaks the hold to kick out of the pinning situation."
FJ: "And that's how badly he wants to get a win against Nathan."
HS: "But has the damage already been done?"
FJ: "Maybe."
(NHL gets up to his feet and he turns and locks up with Stevens but Stevens forces NHL back into the ropes. Stevens pushes NHL off the ropes and then whips him into the corner turnbuckles. Stevens runs after him and nails a clothesline on NHL which causes NHL's head to whiplash and NHL slides down to the mat, sitting up in the turnbuckles. Stevens stomps on NHL and then rolls out of the ring. He walks up to Onslaught and takes the key from him. Stevens unlocks Sarah from the ring posts and walks her into the ring. Stevens has Onslaught slide in the ladder and Stevens waits for Nathan to get up and turn around.)
HS: "What's Stevens doing here?"
FJ: "He's going to lay him out!!"
HS: "Sarah doesn't belong in there! Get her out of the ring, ref!"
(NHL slowly stirs and is on his knees. Sarah's screaming for him not to get up, but he does anyway. Nathan uses the turnbuckles as leverage to get to his feet and Brian's got the ladder ready. He charges towards NHL and clocks him right in the back of the head so hard that NHL's head gets caught between the ladder and top turnbuckle. Stevens tosses the ladder to the side and he walks over to pin NHL. The referee goes down for the count...)
HS: "...ONE...- WHAT?!"
FJ: "HOW DID HE KICK OUT??"
(NHL kicks out and Stevens has a look of shock and horror on his face. He backs away as NHL starts to punch the ring mat and cursing up a storm. He gets up and looks around and then he cracks his neck in both the right and left directions. He looks over and sees Stevens and the horrified look in his face and then he smiles and walks over to him. Brian's face is somewhat confused but then he nervously backs away. NHL extends his hand towards Brian and then Brian's face changes and then he is smiling, though somewhat hesitantly, and he extends his arm to shake NHL's hand.)
HS: "Wait, is this what I think it is?"
FJ: "HENRY'S BACK!!! YAY!! DAMAGE, INC. IS REBORN!"
HS: "What a low down and damn near shitty thing for Brian to do. One year ago he caused Henry to emerge as the dominant personality and now he's done it again one year later. This makes me absolutely sick!"
FJ: "Yes! Damage, Incorporated is back in business again!!!"
(Henry and Brian hug and then NHL raises up Brian's hand and the two soak up the boos and jeers from the crowd as they smile on. NHL releases Brian's hand and the two face each other again, all smiles.)
HS: "I'm so SICK of Brian Stevens getting his way with Nathan Hawthorne-Lee! This is SICK and REPULSIVE!"
FJ: "Get over it. Henry's back. Nathaniel Henry Lee will rule the AWA once more and cause Travis Gray to get some more gray hairs. HAHA!"
(NHL looks at Brian and then NHL walks up to Brian and grabs him by the throat!)
HS & FJ: "WHAT?!"
(NHL starts to squeeze the throat of Brian and the crowd starts to cheer. Meanwhile, Brian's face is white as a ghost and he's starting to choke and turn red in the face. Onslaught slides into the ring, but Sarah kicks Onslaught in the groin and Onslaught rolls out of the ring.)
HS: "NHL was just pulling the wool over our eyes! He didn't change at all!"
FJ: "NNNNOOOOOOOOO!! Damn! I was so hoping that Henry would come back tonight..."
(Brian's coughing and trying to gasp for air as NHL has a death grip literally around Brian's throat. Brian's arms are flailing all over the place, gouging at Nathan's face and arms, trying to eleviate the pressure on his windpipe, but it's no use. Brian's face is starting to turn purple as his gasps of air become more and more depserate.)
HS: "Wait, I think that Nathan's really trying to KILL Brian Stevens! SOMEONE GET SOME SECURITY OUT HERE!"
FJ: "I can't believe what I'm seeing. Nathan's snapped! He's really going to suffocate Brian to death!"
(Brian's actions are becoming more and more subdued as the time passes. His flailing arms are now almost barely moving and his face is a darker shade of purple now. We see that his eye lids are opening and closing, as if he's falling asleep and his body's becoming limp. Sarah, who has been cheering all the time, is now behind her husband to try to get him to let go, but NHL won't listen to the words of his wife and he applies more pressure. Sarah moves away and kicks her husband in the groin as well!)
HS: "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON NOW????"
(NHL looks horrified as he lies on his back looking at his wife who has just attacked him. She kicks him in the groin again and then in the skull and then drags Stevens' limp body over to NHL and drape an arm over NHL's shocked and semi-unconscious body!)
HS: "I can't believe this! Sarah has used her platform, hooker shoes and almost knocked her husband out cold!"
FJ: "I'm too shocked for words."
HS: "The cover...ONE...TWO...THREE! Dammit! I can't believe this! Has Sarah turned her back on her husband? Has she sided with Nathan's worst enemy?"
FJ: "I'm too super shocked right now. This is completely unbelieveable. First Stevens litterally almost died in the ring. We witnessed an attempted homicide, an attempted MURDER of someone in that wrestling ring and now we have seen that Sarah's been against her husband all the while. This is absolutely mind boggling."
(Onslaught slides out of the ring, dragging Stevens' unconscious body out as well and drapes it over his shoulder. We see Stevens involuntarily coughing every now and then as Onslaught limps back to the locker rooms with his unconscious buddy. Sarah spits on her husband as she leaves the ring with a huge smile on her face, laughing at her husband as she follows her new team to the back locker area.)
HS: "I just don't believe what I've just seen. This is amazing..."
FJ: "I'm too shocked for words. I can't believe this neither."
HS: "Ladies and gentlemen, up next we have the battle between two AWA Hall Of Famers, two multiple World Heavyweight Champions, two former business associates who wielded absolute power in the AWA until their egos got in the way."
(A highlight video is played where we see scenes from the early careers of Lars Fredrickson and The Legendary Low, such as Lars winning the AWA World title by beating Mr. Jack Happy and Ray Owens in 2001, or Low winning his first World title by beating Drake Hyde and Happy... Then we fast forward to Springs And Breaks, where The Administration lost all its power to Team Gray, causing Low to turn on Lars the following week... Since then, Lars has pissed on Ramona A. Stone's grave, while Low attacked Lars with barbed wire, setting up tonight's match, but not without Lars getting some retribution against Low and Ramona's sister first... As we return to Herb and Frank, we see stagehands putting the finishing touches on the ring, whose ropes have now been replaced by barbed wire.)
HS: "Fans, this is the first-ever one on one meeting between these two legends. All along we knew it was only a matter of when, not if these two guys would be at each other's throats."
FJ: "Low has made Lars responsible for losing ownership of the AWA and turned on him first, and it has gotten personal and very, very nasty ever since. A few weeks ago, this match was made a Barbed Wire Match, the first one on an AWA pay-per-view since Last Man Standing 2002. The last time Low wrestled in this kind of match was nearly four years ago, when he lost to Jack Happy in their final meeting to date. However, since then, he has used barbed wire on several occasions. Lars, though, isn't foreign to this foreign object himself."
(The howling opening of "A Pain That I'm Used To" by Depeche Mode begins to play as orange lights go on and off along with the song. As the opening sirens stop and the song goes more quiet, Low and Deborah Stone-Kowalczyk step out onto the stage to a mixed reaction.)
HS: "Neither Low nor Lars are particular Texas favorites, but even though they have been hated throughout most of their respective AWA careers, they have earned a lot of respect over the years. Both men have a good amount of fans here tonight."
(As the first verse of the song begins, several orange spotlights flash across the arena, while one stays focused on Low, who is now walking down the ramp. Suddenly, there's a commotion in the crowd and Lars Fredrickson comes running down the ramp. He nails Low with a steel chair from behind and then grabs Deborah by the hair.)
HS: "Lars can't seem to wait until this match officially begins!"
FJ: "Nothing's official here, Herb, this is personal AND business!"
HS: "He put his hands on Deborah once before on Exposed, what does he have in mind now?"
(Lars switches from holding Deborah by her hair to grabbing her by her throat, choking her in the process. He walks her towards the ring and then lifts her up in a choke slam-like position before throwing her into the barbed wire!)
FJ: "He's thrown her into the barbed wire!"
HS: "Even the crowd seems to be disgusted!"
FJ: "And look, her hair has been caught in the wire!"
(Deborah is screaming in pain, maybe the most bone-chilling screams ever heard on an AWA broadcast. As some blood is flowing down her neck and onto her white sports coat, she is halfway hanging in the air. She is trying to regain her footing, but her being caught in the wire prevents her from doing so, so she has to stand on her toes. Officials are coming down the ramp, as the referee is trying to keep Lars away from Deborah.)
HS: "The match hasn't even started yet and already there is some major carnage."
(As Deborah keeps on screaming and crying, the officials are trying to get her off the barbed wire. Finally, one official takes out a pair of scissors and cuts off a huge chunk of Deborah's hair, finally releasing her from the wire grip.)
HS: "Oh man, look at the amount of long blonde hair hanging in the wire."
FJ: "I wonder what the other suburban moms will say about THAT hairstyle."
HS: "Shut up, Frank!"
(As the officials escort a crying Deborah backstage again, Lars now redirects his attention towards Low, who is only getting up to his knees. Low reaches for the back of his head and realizes he is bleeding from the chair shot. Lars then grabs Low by the hair and launches him face first into the barbed wire, immediately opening up his forehead.)
HS: "Still no bell, yet there is no teasing, no suspense, but all-out gore right from the start."
(Lars grabs Low and tries to push his face into the wire again, but Low holds on for dear life. In the process, however, we can see the barbs cutting into Low's hands and small trickles of blood running along them. Finally, the pain seems to be too much and Low releases the wire, yet this gives Lars the chance to shove Low's face into the wire. Low screams in pain, but suddenly nails Lars with a mule kick to the groin, causing Lars to sink to the ground.)
HS: "This one is always effective, even in a non-match like this one."
FJ: "ESPECIALLY in a non-match like this one. But why isn't Low getting out of the barbed wire?"
(As the camera zooms in on Low's face, we can see that one of the barbs is stuck in Low's right eyebrow! The referee tries to help Low, but does so by pulling Low back by his shoulders. We can see the barb tearing through Low's eyebrow, with blood immediately flowing down Low's face.)
FJ: "Yuck, this is digusting."
HS: "That coming from you."
(Low is mad at the referee. He grabs him by his shirt and then pushes him into the ring steps, causing a major whiplash effect on the ref's neck and knocking him unconscious.)
HS: "Now there is no referee anymore to officially start this 'match'."
(Low now turns his attention towards Lars, who is on his way up. Low just runs at Lars and shoves him right into the barbed wire, and now blood is flowing down Lars' face as well. Low grabs Lars by the hair and then ties the hair around the wire.)
HS: "There is some retribution for what happened to Deborah Stone-Kowalczyk earlier on."
(As Lars tries to struggle free, Low grabs the chair Lars brought to the ring himself and stalks Lars. Just as Low prepares to hit Lars with the chair, Lars gets his right foot up and kicks the chair into Low's face. Lars then grabs the scissors used earlier by the official and cuts off a chunk of his own hair to free himself from the wire. A new referee, also in protective gear, comes running down the ramp, but for no apparent reason, Lars nails him with the chair!)
HS: "What was that all about?"
FJ: "I don't know. Maybe Lars prefers this being totally without ANY rules and ANY officiating."
HS: "That's what it was going to be anyway!"
(Lars picks Low up and lifts him up for a vertical suplex, but instead of dropping backwards, he drops him forward stomach first onto the barbed wire. Low now hangs over the wire, his lower body in the ring, his upper body hanging to the outside, and Lars grabs the chair and nails Low right across the head. A third referee comes down to ringside and tries to pull the chair out of Lars' hand, but Lars pushes the referee back and then knocks him out with the chair as well.)
HS: "I have a feeling this one will never get 'official'."
(Lars then nails Low with the chair again, and this time Low falls back into the ring. Lars slides the chair into the ring and then reaches under the ring and pulls out a ladder that he slides into the ring as well. He also pulls a wire cutter out from under the ring and then slides into it. Lars takes the chair and nails Low with it again, keeping him on the mat. He then cuts the top string of wire loose on one side of the ring and wraps it around the chair. Lars pulls Low up and bodyslams him onto the chair wrapped in wire, obviously causing a lot of pain to the 9-time World Champion.)
HS: "Lars is now in full control of this fight. Fans, this match was never officially started, so all this is is a very violent brawl. I wonder if President Gray is going to send down another referee after already having lost three of them."
(Lars puts up the ladder as Low is still lying on the chair wrapped in barbed wire. Lars climbs to the top of the ladder. The fans begin to rise as they realize that Lars is going for his 7 Years Down. As he jumps off the ladder, Low rolls off the barbed wire chair and Lars crashed right onto it stomach first from 15 feet in the air. As he screams in pain he tries to roll off the chair, but he is stuck to it!)
FJ: "Lars can't get off the chair!"
HS: "Well, it seems like Low is willing to help him."
(Low forcefully pulls Lars back and then grabs the chair. We can see lots of little wounds on Lars's chest with blood trickling out of all of them. However, Lars gets to his feet, and Low nails him with the barbed wire chair. Once again, the wire gets entangled in Lars' long hair and Low has problems to lift the chair again. He puts one foot on Lars' head and then pulls the chair back, wripping out a few more strands of Lars' hair in the process. As Lars is back on his knees, Low swings the chair and nails Lars with it again. Another referee comes down to the ring, but immediately backs up as Low swings the chair at him as well.)
HS: "This is getting out of control now."
FJ: "Yeah, I love it, too."
(As Lars slowly gets back to his feet, Low starts climbing the ladder, taking the chair with him. Low finally reaches the top rung as Lars gets to his feet. Low jumps off the ladder and nails Lars with the barbed wire chair, wrapping it around Lars' neck and wrapping his head in the wire. As he lands, however, Low loses his balance and falls backwards into the barbed wire that is replacing the ropes. Somehow his right arm gets caught between the strings of wire and we can see several barbs ripping Low's arm open, causing a massive flow of blood. Suddenly, President Gray, several AWA officials and a number of EMTs are coming down the ramp. Gray grabs a microphone.)
GRAY: "As much as I'd love to see you two egomaniacs destroy each other, I am still a human being and just cannot let this continue to happen. Ultimately, you guys made it clear you don't want an official match by taking out three AWA referees. The AWA has delievered Low vs. Lars in barbed wire action, but now I have to cut this short. Two AWA legends, three referees and one somewhat innocent woman are enough of a sacrifice."
(Gray is met by a mixed reaction from the crowd. The EMTs are cutting the wire that is around Lars' neck, as it is dangerously close to his aorta. Low's bloodied arm is carefully taken out of the wire. Both men are put on stretchers and are rolled up the ramp as the crowd gives them a standing ovation.)
FJ: "BOOOOO!!"
HS: "At least you got to see Hangman and Happy tear each other apart and NHL and Stevens drive each other to the brink of insanity."
FJ: "But this was getting good, too."
HS: "There's always next time."
FJ: "But, there won't be one!"
(The scene changes to the back and we see NHL walking up to Stevens locker room door. NHL bangs on the door and kicks it in. To our surprise, the room is now empty and devoid of all furnishings.)
NHL: "AAAAAHHHHH! NNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCKKKK!!"
(NHL leaves the room and slams the door. We follow him as he runs out towards the parking lot. We see that black Hummer H3 backing out of its spot and NHL chasing after it. The car speeds away, leaving NHL in the parking lot. His legs begins to shake as he drops to the ground on his knees with his hands on his head with an exhausted look on his face as well as sadness.)
HS: "I definitely don't want to be Stevens now."
FJ: "Definitely not."
HS: "Ladies and Gentlemen… Here we go, the main event, the long awaited match to end all matches and one of the most heated and brutal vendettas in AWA history."
FJ: "The World Heavyweight Champion, the monster Brian Williams, faces off against his very own brother right here tonight. The title is on the line and the person that is still able to stand at the end of the night, will be walking out with the title."
HS: "Frank this match is about a lot more than the World title. Its been years coming and all the hatred has boiled up and come to a head. Both John and Brian Williams have sworn they will end each other tonight."
FJ: "In previous months we have watched as John Williams shocked the world, announcing to Brian Williams that Katherine was alive and well, and was with him."
HS: "That's right Frank, we saw a renewed fire within the sick and twisted beast, the news sent him over the edge again and his rampage within the AWA has led him to the top once again, now comes one of the toughest challenges in both of their long and storied careers within the AWA."
FJ: "Herb, I ve gotten word that President Travis Gray forced both combatants to sign waivers releasing the AWA from any liability of what may happen tonight."
(The crowd is in a frenzy anticipating the long awaited match up. A certain buzz fills the air within the arena. The lights dim as the crowds excitement builds.)
HS: "The rules are simple, the first man that can not answer a ten count loses. Other than that anything goes, and I am afraid of what that could mean."
FJ: " The AWA may never be the same Herb"
HS: "Any predictions Frank?"
FJ: "Momentum seems to be in the favor of the World Champion Brian Williams. However we've seen over the past months the transformation of John Williams he seems to going farther and farther from his honor and closer and closer to obsession. The obsession to destroy Brian Williams."
(The goes out, a maniacal laughter fills the entire arena. A deep red anarchy symbol falls squarely upon the ring, as "Crucified" by Sevendust begins to play. We look towards a spot light falling upon the ramp way. We see two men each carrying large sacks filled with unidentifiable objects. We then see a third wheeling a shopping cart filled with random objects al available at your local home depot… Finally we look upwards towards the rafters and we see John Williams descending from the ceiling. He hits the ring and hooks himself as the lights come back on.)
HS: "That's not John Williams at all Frank."
FJ: "You're damn right.. THAT'S Animosity!"
HS: "Look what he brought to the ring with him too Frank."
FJ: "Lets see, I can see a framing hammer, A power drill, some barbed wire, a couple of two by fours… and if I am not mistaken that's a circular saw…. Either Animosity plans on ending his brothers career tonight, or he's going to building himself a house."
(Animosity looks onwards with a look of purified hatred towards the ramp. Then the lights again go out. The ominous opening chords of "Harvestor of Sorrow" begin. After a moment smoke begins to fill the entire rampway. A long pause commences before the sides of the ramp ignite into flames. Finally we look upwards through the fire and we several, several men appear at the top of the ramp carrying Brian Williams to the ring atop his "throne" . An ice cold stare down begins between the two Williams. The men carry Williams and the throne down the ramp to the ring. Williams stands up displaying the World title for all to see. He continues to stand there as the crow waits in complete silence.)
HS: "This is absolutely surreal Frank. These two hate each other with such passion I am not sure that I want to stick around and watch this."
FJ: "Things are going to get ugly Herb."
HS: "We're looking at two men that have held every title in the AWA at least once. We are looking at a combined six world titles, four tag titles, two us titles, two television titles, two hardcore titles, they share the record of longest title reign, john with the US and Brian with the World. They are two of the most dominate figures in the history of the AWA."
(Brian steps over the top rope and proceeds past the ref towards Animosity who meets him in the centre of the ring. The two men stand face to face never taking their hate filled eyes off of each other. The lights come back on and the bell rings. The crowd roars awaiting the battle. Animosity starts first delivering a hard right, Brian follows with one of his own. The two men stand trading shots in the middle of the ring, neither man giving an inch. Animosity blocks a shot and throws three consecutive shots, then hits the ropes and delivers a huge overhand right hand that rocks Williams. He doesn't go down though, Animosity then delivers a drop kick and knocks Williams backwards into the corner. He follows in delivering lefts and rights to the jaw of Williams. The monster then covers up in the corner as Animosity begins to kick away at the midsection of Williams. Williams the reaches out and grabs hold of Animosity and tosses him back wards. Animosity gets up and charges this time Williams counters with a big boot to the face that stops Animosity in his tracks. Brian grabs a hold of Animosity by the throat, and then grabs an arm and whips him to the ropes, Animosity comes back as Williams reaches out attempting a clothesline. Ani ducks under and grabs Williams arm, he then latches onto Williams hand with his teeth, biting down on Williams hand.)
HS: "Animosity is Biting the World Champion."
(Williams bellows in pain and begins to throw stiff punches with his free hand to the skull of Animosity who refuses to let go . Williams continues to punch away all the while screaming. Animosity is eating punch after punch, he goes down to one knee, but still refuses to let go. We look at Williams hand, and we see blood start to run from his hand and into the mouth and through the teeth of Animosity. Finally Williams reaches down and drives two fingers into the dark circled eyes of Animosity. Now Animosity is screaming in pain as well as Williams. Finally both men let go. Animosity rubs his eyes, as Williams clutches his right hand. Williams seems to be the first to recover. He goes towards Animosity and grabs a hold of Ani's throat again, this time lifting him into the air with both hands strangling him. We see Animosity's face start to turn red as Williams walks him to the corner, he drives Animosity into the corner repeatedly until Animosity struggles free. Williams winds up and delivers a big left that rocks Animosity. Animosity then winds up his leg and drives it right into the Williams family jewels. Bria releases a yelp and Animosity is out of the corner. He pushes Brian into the corner and backs up. He then runs in and begins to throw a flurry of lefts and rights directed directly at the groin of Brian Williams.)
FJ: "Absolutely viscous!"
HS: "I agree this is going to get really messy Frank."
(Williams drops to the canvas holding his groin. Animosity then picks him up and tosses his seven foot frame out of the ring. He then walks over to his shopping cart full of goodies, he briefly sorts through it for a moment. He then pulls a pipe wrench out of the way and tosses it over his back. Before pulling out a cash register.)
FJ: "Look at that Herb, a cash register. That lunatic knocked over The Home Depot before he came to the ring."
(Williams gets up as Animosity hurls the register at him. Williams sees it just in time to move out of the way, the register bounces and busts open as petty change rolls about the side of the ring. Brian charges and delivers a clothesline that puts Animosity on his back. Now Brian goes looking for something. He pulls from deep inside the cart and comes out with the aforementioned power drill. He wraps the cord around Animosity's neck and begins to choke him with it. He then begins to drag him up the ramp with it. Williams lets go and then mounts Animosity throwing punch after punch. Animosity kicks Williams off, grabs his head and drives his head into Williams face. Brian staggers backwards, Animosity goes back to his cart' o fun and flips it over the object spill out onto the floor. Animosity then disregards everything and takes the cart itself towards Williams. Animosity flips the cart onto its side and then hooks in a suplex. He brings the big man over and down onto the cart putting both men through the steel grating as the cart collapses under the impact. Animosity is first to his feet, as he grabs Williams and drives his face into the ramp. He picks him up again and whips him down the ramp towards the ring. Williams trips and falls and rolls the rest of the way. Animosity slowly stalks his prey.)
HS: "Things seem to going Animosity's way tonight."
(Animosity reaches down on the way towards Williams and picks up one of the mystery bags. He then drops it and grabs Brian by the hair. Animosity pulls him to his feet and delivers another suplex onto the concrete. He goes underneath the ring and pulls a table out and sets it up. Animosity then grabs a chair, as Brian Williams stumbles to his feet. Animosity swings and misses with the chair, Brian throws a thunderous elbow to the top of Animosity's head that put Animosity onto his knees. From his knee however Animosity swings upwards and catches Brian with the chair this time. Brian now goes to one knee as well as we see blood start to trickle from his forehead. Animosity grabs the wound with his fingers and begins to tear at it. We see the blood start to stream down Brian's face. Animosity grabs the groggy Williams and rolls him into the ring. He unties the mystery sack and spreads its contents out across the table.)
FJ: "Oh god Herb….Thats broken glass!"
(Animosity slides into the ring and delivers a stiff right to Williams how is getting up. He then straddles him over the ropes and tries to suplex Williams over and through the table. However Williams uses his immense strength to block the suplex. Instead Brian delivers a head butt and a knee to the gut, Animosity doubles over on the apron as Brian then locks in his own suplex he gets Animosity up and then both men go crashing through the table and the broken glass on the outside. Both men shriek grabbing at their backs as we see shards of broken glass buried in their skin. Both men lie there for a while as the ref checks on both of them. After some time Brian gets up as does Animosity. Brian grabs a a piece of lumber, Animosity stumbles towards him and gets it driven into his midsection. Animosity doubles over again, Williams then takes the wood and snaps it clean in half over Animosity's back as Animosity hits the ground. Williams takes on a sadistic expression through his bloody face. He lifts Animosity up and drives him head first into the ring post. Animosity falls as Williams then goes underneath the ring. He pulls out the AWA special twenty foot ladder. Williams then charges driving the ladder into Animosity. Animosity falls over, Williams then goes back to the pile of random building objects. He pulls from the pile a fire extinguisher. Williams swings the extinguisher at Animosity who dodges as he is getting up. Animosity then delivers a drop kick that puts Williams on the floor Animosity grabs Williams by the hair and then steps over the barricade into the crowd. He drags Williams by the hair through the fanatical crowd, and up the stairs. Animosity stops and punches Williams who returns fire, they continue to trade back and forth on the stairs until Williams lands an equalizer to the groin. Now Brian takes Animosity up the stairs and into the concession stands. Both men stop now at the hot dog vending stand. Brian lifts Animosity high into the air in a press slam and then tosses him directly into the vending cart. The cart folds under Animosity's weight, as burn hot dog wieners roll out on to the ground.)
HS: "Oh good god Frank he used his brother to destroy that man's hot dog stand."
(Animosity gets picked up again this time Williams grabs him by his skull and goes to the nearby nacho and cart. Williams looks onwards towards Animosity with a look of hate and malice. He then drives Animosity's face through the glass nacho container. Animosity slumps to the ground as blood soaked nachos mix with the burn wieners. Williams demands the ref count now.)
FJ: "Well I ll give Animosity his credit he put up a good fight."
HS: "That he did, but his brother is just too big and powerful. I don't expect he will get up here."
(1…..2………3………4…………5……..The ref continues to count, but much to Brian's dismay Animosity begins to stir and gets up. Brian runs and then attempts to deliver a big boot, however Animosity slaps his boot away. Williams spins around and attempts a clothesline however catches his massive arm and spins around him and delivers a tornado DDT onto the floor. Animosity gets up immediately and demands the ref count again. 1……….2……………3…………..4…………..5……………6……… Animosity then looks on disgusted as Brian Williams now also returns to his feet.)
HS: "What a war Frank."
FJ: "These two guys are nut cases what is it going to take."
(Both men shakily then engage again trading puches Animosity seems to get the best of it, he rams Brian's head into a wall, then tosses him through the rest room door. We follow now and we see the Williams brothers inside the washroom. Brian turns and lands a left that slows Animosity down. Brian then reaches forward and grabs Animosity by the arm, then he follows with an irish whip that sends Animosity into the counter top, the force form the extrememly hard irish whip, sends Animosity up and over and he then lays motionless on the counter top. Williams senses his chance and looks about the washroom. He spots a hand dryer on the wall and with extreme strength he tears right from the concrete walls. We see the bloody Williams stalk towards the bloody Animosity, who is now starting to ease himself off the counter. Williams raises the hand dryer and brings it down, but Animosity grabs ahold of Williams pants and drops, sending Williams forward, face first into the bathroom mirror, as it shatters. Williams now slumps down onto the counter. Animosity grabs Williams by the hair and drives his head into the bathroom stall so hard that the locked door flies open. Williams falls face first into the stall as we notice that none other than Onslaught is taking care of some business. Williams falls into Onslaught as his blood covers the fellow wrestler. Animosity looks on in disgust as he again grabs Williams and this time lifts Williams body onto the countertop.)
Onslaught: "Yo…word man… what hell… you gots blood on my boots! Whats up wit dat shit G… "
(Animosity then climbs on top of the counter and sets up Brian for a piledriver.)
HS: "My god, they've destroyed the bathroom."
FJ: "And more importantly they've ruined Onslaught's concentration!"
(Animosity tries the piledriver however Williams instead delivers a backdrop. Animosity comes crashing down, however so does Williams as the counter top collapses. The ref begins to count but both men are up on the count of five. Williams then leaves the bathroom gasping for air, however Animosity is right behind him. Animosity attacks from behind driving a forearm into Williams shoulder blades. Williams falls forward exhausted and beaten into the corridor adjacent to the bathroom. Animosity picks him up and drags him down the hallway, we then enter the backstage area, as Animosity tosses the giant Williams into a pile of scrap metal. Animosity grabs a shovel from the wreckage and then waits for Brian to get up. The monster Brian Williams gets up and then gets clocked in the skull with the shovel. His eyes glaze over as he drops to his knees and then falls face first. The ref begins to count as Wiliams lays unconscious on the floor. Instead of taking this though Animosity drags his brother to his knees and then to his feet.)
HS: "I don't think Brian can defend himself"
(We look onwards as Brian's face is a crimson mask…. We see that Animosity isn't in any better shape himself. animosity then drags Brian's almost lifeless carcass back towards the ring. Both the battered men appear at the top of the ramp to the enjoyment of the rabid fans.) Animosity walks Williams towards the ring, Brian throws a back elbow from nowhere that lands and gives him time to crawl into the ring and breathe a little. Animosity looks at Brian before picking up the circular saw on the outside of the ring. He slides into the ring, hits the ropes as Williams is getting up and then drives the bladeless saw into Williams face, Williams collapses mid ring and Animosity sits in the corner as the ref counts. 1……………2………………..3……………..4………………5…………6……………..7……………8………………. Williams reaches the ropes and drags himself. This breaks the count as Williams desperately tries to survive Animosity's wrath. Animosity approaches Williams and then starts to choke him with everything he has. Brian possibly feeling his title slip away uses all of the strength in his body to reach out and lock onto Animosity's throat. Williams uses both hands to lift Animosity off the ground, and then slam him down in a two handed choke slam. Williams falls face first as Animosity falls and rolls to the outside. Brian gets up as does Animosity, however Animosity gets a glint of sadism in his eyes this time. He grabs another table from under the ring. Williams waits for him as he slides it into the ring. Then the twenty foot ladder comes into play as well. Finally the second random sack gets carefully slide under the ropes. Animosity slides into the ring.)
HS: "Look at this Frank, they've fought all over this arena. They are both bloody messes. Now they stand face to face once again, for the last time. Neither man will allow himself to stay down."
(Brian turns and stands the ladder up as Animosity decides to setup the table. The Two men then stare each other down as Animosity adds a little something special to the equation dumping a bag of small screws all over the ring. They then nod at each other before meeting in the middle of the ring. Again they trade punches as if this match had just started, the crowd is about to blow the roof off the building because they know what is about to happen. Brian this time gets the advantage, with a quick knee to the gut, followed by a DDT. He lifts John up and places him on the top rope. Brian The goes for a super plex for the second rope however Animosity holds the ropes and blocks it. He delivers several straight rights that make Williams back off the ropes. Animosity grabs Williams by the hair and spins him hooking his head…)
HS: "The Time to Shine!!!"
FJ: "We could see a new champion here."
(Williams telegraphs the move however, he grabs Animosity's head and neck and flips him over now. Now Animosity is hooked by Williams who has him set up for the Morbid Reality. Williams drops driving his elbow into Animosity's bloody face. Animosity goes limp. But instead of backing off to get the count, Williams now drags Animosity up, who now cant defend himself either. Williams looks up to the ladder and begins to climb forcing Animosity to follow him. Williams reaches the top of the ladder and crosses over to the other side, With Animosity at the top of the ladder now Williams grabs hold of him and attempts to lift him into the press slam, he gets him up….As the crowd begins to gasp)
HS: No…Hes going for the Calling of the Cataclysmic.. He will kill him."
FJ: "That likely his plan Herb."
(Animosity out of desperation reaches down and clings to the ladder he drives a finger into Brian's eye. Brian lets him down as Animosity smashes Brian's face off rung of the ladder, Williams rocks on the ladder. Williams then reaches up with a massive paw and catches Animosity with a heavy punch to the jaw. Animosity now reels on the ladder. Both men barely able to stand from a mixture of blood loss and exhaustion teeter on the ladder. Brian Williams throws a shot that is blocked by Animosity who returns fire with three right hands. Williams is severely rocked and is near falling, with everything he has left Animosity delivers one last shot that causes Williams to slowly teeter backwards and then fall off the ladder, the flash bulbs go off as the giant is falling, he goes through the table, it collapses under him as screwnails drive into his back.)
FJ: The champion is dead Herb!
HS: "He sent his brother to Hell Frank, just like he said he would."
(As Brian lays motionless on the mat… Animosity wearily climbs to the top rung of the ladder. Animosity then signifies that he is going to go for the 450 splash. The ref begs him to get down, however Animosity flips him the bird, and then raises his arms.)
HS: "And now hesgoing to go to hell himself to finish the job…. Brian Williams reign of terror is about to end…."
FJ & HS + Crowd: "HOLY SHIT!!!!!!"
(Animosity leaps flipping one and a half times, he comes crashing down towards the ring, on top of the shattered table, and on top of the screws he earlier spread out, but much to his dismay his brother, the World Champion, Brian Williams, was just able to avoid the contact. Williams lands face first and rolls over. We now see both men laying motionless in the center of the ring with destruction and carnage all around them. We see screws sticking into Animosity's bloody face, we cant really even see Brian's face through all the blood, as it has matted through his hair. The ref then begins to count both men down. 1…………..2…………………3………………….4……………..5………………….6………Brian Williams rolls over now and is laying face first……………..7…………………8………Brian drags himself to the ropes…………..9………………………in a desperate movement Brian lifts himself to his feet…. 10!!!!! Brian looks over but doesn't seem to care about anything, after ten the bell rings as the giant champion of the AWA collapses now)
HS: "Brian Williams has just barely retained his title here at No More Drama."
FJ: "These guys need some help."
(We see several medics and emergency personal flood the ring as the Title is given to an unconscious Brian Williams. The AWA logo flashes across the screen.)
