AWA WRESTLEFEST VI, December 12th, 2004, New York, NY, Madison Square Garden
(We open up with a shot of Madison Square Gardens, New York. Home of AWA Wrestlefest on tonight the 12th December, 2004. The shot pans around the building, before cutting inside to the arena itself…)
(Suddenly, the arena goes completely dark. The assisting crowd awaits in expectation for what's going to happen next. Suddenly, the AWA Tron comes to life with a static image as a voice is heard over the speaker system. It speaks slowly and deeply.)
Voice: ''Through the years, men have fought each other for supremacy, for superiority. Throught the years, many battles have unforgerd in the middle of great battle fields... keeping their focus, mostly, on a single character and a single event...''
(A black and white video is then showed on the AWA Tron. Planes flying above lands, tossing bombs to destroy everything in its path; thousands of soldiers running into another army of men, equally armed, only to have hundreds of casualties when it all comes to and end...)
Voice: ''Many things have kept men apart from each other in history. Believes, priorities, religions; but on one particular day, everything that kept humankind spread apart... tumbles to the ground...
(Then, an image of the Berlin wall is seen, showing it's supremacy, dividing a country for many years. then, another shot is seen: dozens of men and women taking down the wall, leaving what it is today, just rubble, rubble that represents all the fallen powers of humanity. Screen goes static and, little by little, the voice starts to get more and more enthusiastic.)
Voice: ''Six years from the date have marked history in one single industry. Six years that represent both good and evil, order and despair, faithfulness and betrayal... life and death. Tonight, old feuds come to rest, old rivalries just begin... and a time in the AWA is marked as its Wall of Berlin crumbles down in rubble to unite them... to unite them all once again!''
(BOOM! ''Hero'' by The Foo-Fighters starts blasting as the arena is completely lightened by silver, blue and red pyro exploding upward from the top of the ramp before beginning to crawl up both sides of the AWA Tron and finally reaching the roof of the arena. Then, the pyro quickly rushes through the ceiling to the other side of the building, where it comes to rest. Five seconds later, from all cardinal points of the building, white pyro crawl under the ceiling towards the center of the ring, uniting together simultaneously... BAM!! They collide simultaneously to create even better fireworks from the center of the ring, as well as its four corners. Finally, like a kamikaze, a green rocket fires from over the AWA Tron and down to the center of the ring at full speed, creating a bigger explosion than the last two and making the lights of the arena come back to life. Thousands of AWA fans are seen cheering as loud as they can, all raising their arms, come clapping, some screaming to the top of their lungs. Hundreds of signs are raised up high. The scene cuts to the Spanish announcing table where the Spanish commentators are excitedly talking amongst themselves. Finally, after a few seconds the scene cuts to the English announcing table...)
HS: "Hello, ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the sixth annual edition of American Wrestling Alliance’s Wrestlefest! Live from the sold-out Madison Square Garden! New York, New York!!"
FJ: "Present me, Herb!''
HS: ''Along side me--''
FJ: ''Is me! Frank Jackson! Umm, reunited at last, huh, partner?"
HS: "That’s right, Frank. Just like the good old days... and I will be calling all the action for you tonight, after all, this is the night of many unifications! "
FJ: "Yeah, like... uh... Jeff Christianson unifying the Xplosion World Title with the Shock World Title by beating Jayson Price in our main event of the evening."
HS: "Well that’s a matter of opinion but that match WILL take place. Also, the Intercontinental Championship and United States Championship will be unified when Xplosion’s own Jack Happy takes on Shock's Collin Baird."
FJ: "What excites me more is the thought of having both the Television and Hardcore Titles given up in favor of the new No Limit Title! But not only that excites me, Herb... the first No Limit Champion will be decided in a fatal four way between John "Fury" Heights, Draven Shadows, "The Gambit" Andreas Lasiewicz and Adryn McLeon!!"
HS: "Quite a history between Andres Lasiewicz and John Heights, fans. Tonight, after all the matches, all the suffering and all the foul-mouthing, it will be decided, tonight, who will be the first ever No Limit Champion...''
FJ: What about Draven Shadows! He's got the attitude, the strength, the will the--''
HS: ''Fans, whoever becomes the new, and first, No Limit Champion, will have to worry about the Eight-man, Inter-brand Battle Royal for the number one contender ship of THAT title. But those are just the unification matches, Frank.''
FJ: ''Who do you think will win after all is done and through? XPLOSION!! We have former Cruiserweight Champion, Rawstarr, in there, as well as Cruiserweight superstar, Spike Spiegel and, of course, who could forget about the great Damion?''
HS: ''Frank, don't make me tell you who's in there on behalf of Shock... fans, we also have the newly formed team of the former World Champion, the Fish, and former Hardcore Champion, Blackjack, challenging The Peeks for the Tag Team Titles, in a highly anticipated match! Four, the best of the best, in one same ring!''
FJ: "Probably one of the scariest matches in the history of the AWA! We will see Snake destroy Brian Williams in a classic Street Fight, serving as THE grudge match, to end all grudge matches!"
HS: ''It's important to point out that it was none other than Brian Williams who burned Snake at Classic, over two months ago. Snake is back with a vengeance and he wants Brian Williams... two monsters! One Street Fight! It promises to get ugly!''
FJ: "Hey! Don’t forget get it’s the return of The Legendary Low and King Chump Chozen!!
HS: ''A singles match is bound to prove to everyone who is the better legend and... who IS the legend in the AWA as of today. BUT, I am personally glad to call a match I haven't called in ages!''
FJ: What would that be? I have called all kinds of matches in my ten months with Larry Potter, Herb... thought I... seem to always fall asleep in cruiserweight matches, you know?''
HS: ''That's because you don't like Flip Flops, Frank... Xplosion's very own and exclusive title will be defended in what promises to be a very fast paced, high-risk-manoeuvred, and adrenaline-rushing match, when Cruiserweight Champion, Sgt. Jeremy Price defends his gold against Colombian Superstar, Orlando Olazabul... Outrageous Ortega!''
FJ: ''He prefers to be called Triple O, Herb.''
HS: "Either way, Frank, I am personally excited for this excellent Xplosion-exclusive Championship match."
(‘ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAA’ shrilly echoes through the stadium.)
HS: "HS: "Here we go, WRESTLEFEST IV!…and listen to this capacity crowd get behind Ortega!''
(Highlights of Orlando’s most outrageous moves are shown on the AWATron. ‘Top of the World’ hits and out comes Orlando, who is electric. He high fives the fans and pumps himself up before charging the ring, hopping up onto the apron in one leap, and then doing a senton splash over the top rope, rolling to his feet where he opens his arms wide and enjoys the jubilation of his fans.)
HS: "The challenger looks pumped."
FJ: "He should be he hasn’t shut up about this title since he got here."
("Born in The USA" by Bruce Springstien hits the PA system as red white and blue spotlights roam the crowd. White flashes of lights follow the rhythm of the snare drum as Jeremy raises his AWA Cruiserweight title high above his head and comes down the Aisle way. He climbs up to the apron and then climbs the outside side of the left turnbuckle and raises his Belt again as the crowd erupts. He then climbs over the ropes and tries out the ropes a few times looking OOO in the eyes.)
HS: "The Champion is focused here tonight Frank look at that stare."
FJ: "Uhuh, maybe he thinks OOO is middle eastern."
(Jeremy hands the belt over to the referee who stands in between the two competitors holding the belt high above his head. The two men come close both looking focused, Jeremy outstretches his hand and OOO shakes it. Jeremy pulls OOO in close and starts mouthing something very intensely, he then points at his chest then at OOO’s then at his again and then at the belt. OOO says maybe two words, a sentence at most and the competitors go back to their corners.)
HS: "I don’t know how much these too like each other but I do know that they respect what each other can do inside that ring."
(With both men in their respective corners we hear a "USA" chant, but then that chant turns into "USA . . . OOO . . . USA . . . OOO" the OOO chants are slightly less significant when compared to the USA chant, but it’s close. Jeremy looks from side to side slowly taking in his surroundings, OOO does the same, we can tell that both men realize the magnitude of this match up.)
HS: "Can you feel the atmosphere in this building?"
FJ: "I know I can, I thought that this was just the opening match?"
HS: "This isn’t an ordinary opening match Frank, I hope this atmosphere is translating well on pay per view."
(Both men walk out of their corners and begin to circle slowly, both men wanted to get the first advantage and not make the first mistake. After going completely around three times the two approach the middle of the ring with their hands extended looking for a knuckle lock. The move cautiously with, in crouching positions, they touch hands and Jeremy quickly backs off. He had no intent of starting the match that way. The two circle one more time and then Jeremy goes for OOO’s legs, OOO steps back and drops down onto Jeremy’s back. Jeremy spins out and gets the advantage, then OOO escapes and tries to lock Jeremy up but he squirms away, the two continue to try and get the upper hand on each other switching positions from being on top to being on bottom a few more times before the break it up and get off each other the crowd gives them a respectful round of applause.)
HS: "Both men trying to get the early advantage here with some amateur style wrestling."
(The two circle around again and approach the middle of the ring in a similar fashion to how they started with their hands out reached. This time when Jeremy gets close OOO reaches out and pulls Jeremy into a hammerlock, he quickly uses his right hand to push down on Jeremy’s head and tries to move to a side headlock but Jeremy is able to grab OOO’s arm and put on a hammerlock of his own. OOO tries to spin it into his own hammer lock but Jeremy pulls down harder. Jeremy sweeps OOO’s legs and they both go down to the mat with the hammerlock still applied. Jeremy tries to grab for one of OOO’s legs and this gives OOO a chance to roll foreword and escape the hold. )
HS: "Both men still in the feeling out process here."
(OOO quickly dives at Jeremy’s legs and is able to take him down to the mat. He locks in a side leg lock on Jeremy’s left leg. Jeremy screams in pain but OOO only cinches it in tighter. Jeremy tries to turn to reverse the pressure but OOO sees this coming and rolls through with Jeremy switching to an STF with stunning quickness. Luckily for Jeremy he is close to the ropes now and can break the very painful hold. Both men get to their feet and Jeremy shakes his left leg trying to stimulate some more circulation.)
HS: "It looks like Price maybe feeling the effects of OOO’s leg work early here."
(OOO fakes like he is going for the legs then grabs high but Jeremy is able to duck and when OOO spins around Jeremy goes for a leg takedown again but this time OOO simply side steps and kick Jeremy in the ribs as hard as he can. Jeremy rolls to the ropes gasping for air and the ref back Orlando away from him, we can see OOO yelling something about soccer.)
HS: "Well I think that the feeling out portion of the match is officially over!"
FJ: "Holy crap, that guys can kick!"
HS: "You think Frank?"
(Jeremy pulls himself up on the ropes breathing deep trying not to let it look like OOO hurt him too bad. Jeremy lunges at OOO with a good old fashion American right hand but OOO easily ducks the strike. OOO starts throwing lucha chops like no other as well as a few forearms and backs Jeremy up against the ropes. OOO sends Jeremy in and he hits the far ropes then comes storming back at OOO, OOO leap frogs him and both men hit the ropes again this time Jeremy drops down in front of OOO, OOO sees this coming as well and stops in his tracks double stomping with incredible force on Jeremy’s left leg. This time Jeremy rolls out to the floor.)
HS: "OOO looks sharp, maybe a step ahead, OH NO WHAT’S THIS!"
(OOO runs and goes for a corkscrew springboard plancha to Jeremy on the outside but Jeremy uses his strength advantage to catch Orlando in a fall away slam position and what Jeremy does from here is throw OOO in such a way that it is similar to a fall a way slam but Jeremy throws OOO’s legs more vertical to the ground and the effect is OOO landing back first against the guard rail and then falling down on his head. The crowd gasps then cheers wildly for the intense action. OOO squirms on the ground holding his back.)
HS: "What a counter by Jeremy Price! OOO may have a broken back!"
FJ: " Well I wouldn’t go that far, but that defiantly didn’t feel pleasant."
(Jeremy rolls back into the ring and waits a good amount of time before OOO reaches his feet again. OOO is still holding his back and is hunched over. Jeremy jumps onto the top rope then jumps down hitting a 450 splash across the back of OOO. OOO crashes down to the floor hard and Jeremy hits his already injured leg hard on the floor as well.)
HS: "What a manoeuvre! Never have I seen a 450 executed like that, that was amazing."
FJ: "Did you see the impact, that was violent, I like it!"
(Both men or laying on the floor, OOO is holding his back and Jeremy is on his back holding his leg up moving it up and down over and over again. Finally after a long while Jeremy gets up and rolls OOO back into the ring, he goes for a cover 1 . . 2 . . . no OOO kicked out at the last second. Jeremy shakes his head once a little surprised but stays on the offensive he picks up OOO an double underhook him. He lifts up and goes for a tiger bomb but OOO breaks his arms free and is able to hurricanrana Jeremy down to the mat he holds on for the count 1 . . . 2 . . . Jeremy kicks out both men get up and Jeremy pulls out OOO’s feet then goes for a jackknife 1 . . .2 . . . OOO reverses it into another pin that makes it look like OOO just powerbombed Jeremy 1 . . . 2 . . . Jeremy rolls back up 1 . . . 2 . . . OOO throws Jeremy off the crowd is dead silent, Jeremy runs back at OOO and OOO brings Jeremy down with a small package 1 . . . 2 . . . Jeremy rolls reversing the pin into a small package of his own 1 . . . 2 . . . OOO kicks out and both men roll back to their feet exhausted from their last exchange as the crowd cheers loudly then going back to the "USA . . . OOO" chant.)
FJ: "Do you see stuff like that on shock partner?"
HS: " . . . What an exchange!"
(Jeremy and OOO walk to the middle of the ring and Jeremy slaps OOO across the face, not disrespectfully but rather as an offensive manoeuvre. OOO retaliates with an slap of his own, Jeremy doesn’t even flinch and then slaps OOO again, OOO doesn’t budge this time but we can see the red on both their faces. Jeremy throws a right side kick to OOO’s midsection and OOO bends down a little in pain. The announcers are completely silent during this exchange so we can hear the impact of each blow clearly. OOO then throws a kick to Jeremy’s midsection and Jeremy hunches over grabbing his ribs, Jeremy then throws another stiff kick to OOO’s midsection and he gets a pained look on his face but he appears to be very angered by the blow too, OOO then kicks Jeremy so hard in the kidney area that it brings Jeremy down to a knee he is in so much pain. OOO goes for a kick to the head but Price ducks and jumps too his feet as OOO spins all the way around, Jeremy catches OOO with a climb up Enziguri but OOO only stagers and doesn’t drop. Jeremy tries to follow up with a left footed kick but the impact of the kick hurts is injured leg way more then it hurt OOO. This give OOO a chance to hit Jeremy with a stiff forearm, Jeremy hits back with the same thing, another forearm from OOO, another from Price, the two men are now holding onto each other and throwing forearms as hard as the can at rapid pace, they hit maybe ten each then push each other off exhausted and both go for super kicks at the same time both of which hit and send them to the mat hard with two loud slapping noises that echo throughout the arena. The whole crowd is on their feet clapping and cheering now.)
HS: " ***clapping*** "
FJ: "Fake you general public, fake you."
(The ref begins the ten count with both men laying on the mat their legs slightly intertwined because that is the way they landed after the duel super kicks, Jeremy is on his back mumbling to himself and OOO is simply not moving 1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . 4 . . . 5 . . . 6 . . . 7 . . . 8 . . . both men get to their knees but barely the ref stops the count even though the both stay on their knees for a long amount of time. The finally do get back up at almost the exact same time "USA . . . OOO" over and over again. OOO throws a lazy right hand at Jeremy and Jeremy hooks OOO as if he is going for an STO (rock bottom) Jeremy throws OOO down in the same fashion but drops him right onto his knee rather then the mat, OOO lays lifeless across Jeremy’s knee and Jeremy decided to drop down from this position and hook on a body scissors. OOO starts moving frantically as soon as the hold is applied to his injured back. He is trying to break the hold with his hands but he can’t get enough strength to do it. the ref is asking OOO is he wants to give up but he keeps on screaming "no". The move seems to be killing OOO but still he refuses to tap after almost a minute, at this time OOO looks directly into Jeremy’s eyes and Jeremy looks right back and as he does he breaks the hold, maybe he saw something. Jeremy gets up and turns OOO over so his back is facing up, Jeremy jumps and goes for a double stomp but OOO rolls out of the way and Jeremy lands injured left leg first on the mat, he hobbles around for a minute then tries the move again and again OOO moves out of the way at the last second. This time Jeremy hits and collapses on contact, he rolls on the mat as OOO tries to catch a breather.)
HS: "Both these men could have serious injuries, Jeremy Price can hardly walk and Orlando Ortega’s back is in a very bad way."
FJ: "And it’s all for our entertainment.!"
(OOO now gets up in a frenzy and starts attacking Jeremy’s leg. He kicks and stomps, kicks and stomps, Jeremy is screaming as OOO moves him into the center of the ring. OOO drops a knee onto Jeremy’s leg then grabs in spins and falls with all his force right onto the injured limb. Now OOO grabs the leg and holds it up looking at the crowd half of witch is cheering like crazy and the other half that is panicking. OOO lets out a "WOOOOO" with his natural Colombian accent shining through then locks in the figure four. Jeremy sits up in pain and starts begging OOO to let go.)
HS: "The La Cruceta del Enfermero!"
FJ: "Nah, that’s a Figure Four Leg Lock."
HS: "What ever it is it hurts!"
FJ: "Price is going to tap!"
(Jeremy falls back in pain and as soon as he does the ref is right on the count 1 . . . 2 . . . Price shoots back up screaming, he slaps OOO in the face and OOO slaps him back Price falls 1 . . . back up another slap, another retaliation from Ortega and another fall back by Price 1 . . . 2 . . . He’s back up and trying to reverse the pressure. As he begins to turn OOO actually turns with him for some reason. They turn rather quickly for this reason OOO doesn’t unlock the hold but rather sits up and squats down turning the move into some sort of a figure four sharpshooter combination, the crowd explodes and Price is in utter pain crawling towards the ropes.)
HS: "Oh my, I have never seen a hold like that before, that is unbelievable."
FJ: "Look at Price crawl he’s going to make it."
(The hold looks like sheer hell and if Jeremy doesn’t make it to the ropes fast then he’s going to have to tap out. Jeremy is crawling on his elbow and a loud "USA . . . T.A.P. . . . USA . . . T.A.P." chant starts. Jeremy is now just inches away from the ropes but he falls back down off his elbows and has no choice but to . . . reach out at the last second and grab the bottom rope. Half the crowd cheers and the other half sighs. OOO falls foreword and lays there holding his back and trying to get back into the match. OOO stumbles to his feet and grabs Jeremy pulling him up, Jeremy is limping like crazy now and is almost on only one foot. OOO tries to whip him into the ropes but Jeremy somehow finds it inside him to reverse and whip OOO in. OOO leaps to the top rope and then back flips landing behind Jeremy catching him in position for a reverse DDT but he stumbles and grabs his back walking backwards a little now.)
HS: "Ortega is going for that Mortal DDT, NO WAY!"
(Jeremy has used OOO’s own stumbling momentum to back flip over him onto the apron and lock in a Dragon Sleeper with a body scissors in-between the bottom and middle ropes.)
HS: "POW! The Prisoner of War is applied! And on Orlando’s injured back!"
(Jeremy is wrenching on OOO’s neck and thus applying pressure to his back but the P.O.W. is an illegal manoeuvre and the ref is give Jeremy to the count of five to break it 1 . . .2 . . . 3 . . . Jeremy breaks before the ref reaches four and OOO falls face first down onto the mat. Jeremy walks back into the ring and sees OOO laying by the ropes and motions to the crowd that it is Weapon of Mass Destruction time and half of them cheer. Jeremy drags OOO to his feet and puts him in position for the snap Flatliner into the ropes. He dives back and OOO’s neck slams off the top rope and he springs back onto his back in perfect position for a pin, Jeremy looks at the turnbuckle then at his leg and decides to go for the cover 1 . . .2 . . . 3! No!)
HS: "OOO just kicked out of the Weapon of Mass Destruction! I don’t believe it, Jeremy Price usually would have gone for a Freedomsault in that situation but I think he’s leg prevented him there."
FJ: "I didn’t think anyone could kick out of that Herb!"
(Jeremy is beside himself in the ring, and he just lays back in pain. OOO hasn’t moved since the kick out, after a while Price gets back to his feet and picks up OOO, it looks like he is going to go for a suplex but then OOO out of nowhere kicks him in the gut and then DDT’s him down to the mat, Price lands almost completely vertical to the mat. OOO stumbles to his feet then points to the turnbuckle and gets a loud cheer from half the crowd. He slowly climbs to the top, he tries to stand and then grabs his lower back and falls back down to the turnbuckle then stands again more cautiously this time, Jeremy is just now getting to his feet.)
HS: "High risk for Ortega here, will it pay off?"
(OOO leaps onto Price’s shoulders and then takes him down with a corkscrew head scissors planting him firmly on the top of his head.)
HS: "The Time For T, NEW CHAMPION, NEW CHAMPION!"
(OOO covers Jeremy hooking both legs 1 . . . 2 . . .3.No! Jeremy Price kicked out.)
HS: "My God! These two men are giving everything they have ladies and gentleman, make no mistake about it."
FJ: "They both say they need that Cruiserweight Title, and they’re proving it tonight!"
(Jeremy lays motionless on his back and OOO is on his stomach right next to him. The ref isn’t even counting, he’s not going to count these men out after this match. Jeremy is the first to show signs of life, he throws a back handed punch right to the small of OOO’s back, OOO responds by still face down on the mat kicking at Price’s leg. The two men start hitting with more passion and anger, the keep striking as they start to make their way to their feet. They’re now on their knees, Price throws a punch at OOO and OOO throws a elbow back. Both men lay off of each other for a second and push off of the mat to get to their feet as the crowd goes into a frenzy usually reserved for main event finishes. Price throws a punch, and then another, and another, OOO is bent over and Price starts clubbing his back with his arms. OOO then shoots back up to an erect position and slaps his arms away. He starts throwing lucha chops and punches and kicks and Price can’t defend himself or fight back, Price finds himself backed into the corner. He starts to fight back with punches now and it looks like he is going to get out of the corner but then OOO jumps and hits a climb up Enziguri (The Penalty Kick) Jeremy falls against the ropes and the ropes are the only thing that keeps him on his feet. OOO lifts him up and seats him on the top turnbuckle, OOO starts to climb after him but Jeremy pushes him off. OOO falls to his back but Jeremy is too tired to try any offence and OOO is able to climb back up to the same position is was in a minute ago. Price punches OOO and hooks him like a suplex and starts to lift but OOO grabs the ropes and throws a punch to Jeremy’s left leg the makes Jeremy almost go limp. OOO picks up the Cruiserweight Champion like a suplex but then grabs both his legs and now standing on the second rope jumps out into the ring turning 180 and eighty degrees landing on his butt dropping Jeremy directly on his head with a muscle buster.)
HS: "OH MY GOD! Caida del Muerta, roughly translated, the FALL OF DEATH!"
(OOO simply drops an arm over Jeremy Price 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . 3! Jeremy kicks out a moment too late and half the crowd explodes while the other half claps respectfully.)
HS: "NEW CHAMPION!"
FJ: "As much as I hate to say it, both these men are Champions tonight."
HS: "Yes, but only Outrageous’ Orlando Ortega is the Cruiserweight Champion!"
(‘Top of the World’ hits and the ref brings the title belt to OOO. OOO is still laying on the mat so the ref just drapes the belt over his upper body. The fans are all standing an clapping and continue to do so for around four minutes before OOO can get to his feet. Two referees are helping Jeremy to his feet. He see Orlando with the belt and brushes the referees off of him, he snatches the Cruiserweight Title Belt away from OOO and the music cuts, the crowd is quiet watching attentively. Jeremy is limping and OOO is hunched over trying to ease the pain on his back. Jeremy looks at the belt then looks at the crowd and sets the belt on OOO’s shoulder, Jeremy tries to walk away but OOO stops him and raises his hand and then give him a hug as "Born in The USA" plays.)
HS: "What sportsmanship . . . that match could have headlined any wrestling show and no one would have cared, it OPENED Wrestlefest VI, this has all the makings to be the greatest night in AWA history!"
FJ: "I agree"
HS: "You do? But once again we’d like to welcome those viewers at home who ordered this event and what a night it’s gonna be!"
FJ: "And been so far, Herb."
HS: "That’s right, because we just witnessed Ortega defeat Price for the Cruiserweight Championship in one HELLUVA match up!"
FJ: "Price put up a great effort, but the skills of Ortega were just too much."
HS: "And the night is only just getting started! In just a few moments we have the AWA Wrestlefest VI Battle Royale Invitational featuring every member of our roster not competing in another event."
FJ: "That includes the likes of AWA superstars Rawstarr and Big Blue, as well as newcomers Maxx Skabb, whom I’m liking very much, NHL, JJ Mynuz, the beast known as Saidogai, AJ Saints, Spike Spiegel and Damion."
HS: "There can be only ONE winner, and it’s over the top rope eliminations only."
FJ: "After that we have the first ever, No Limit Title match. A match that I personally am looking forward too. I know that Hardcore Draven Shadows is going to represent Xplosion well and beat Andreas Lasiewicz, Adryn McLeon and Television Champion, John ‘Fury’ Heights."
HS: "After that we have the in ring return of two, like it or not, AWA Legends. Low squares off with Chozen once again and it promises to be just as ferocious a battle as any these two have had before."
FJ: "I’m really excited about seeing Low back in action!"
HS: "Following the Return of the Legends, we have what could potentially be a show stealer. Four AWA Fan Favorites, the future of this company, Tag Champions the Peeks defend their titles against Fish and BlackJack, the Aquatic Aces. And what’s even more interesting is that all four of these men are practically best friends!"
FJ: "Eh, who cares about that. Anyway, after the Tag Title match we have the burrito eating buffoon, Intercontinental Champion Jack Happy taking on United States Champion, ‘the Superstar’ Colin Baird. This will be a unification bout for the US title."
HS: "And following that, the match that promises to be the most brutal, hellish of the evening, and perhaps in AWA history, Brian Williams takes on Snake in a no-holds barred, totally hardcore, Street Match!"
FJ: "I’m looking most forward to that match… BLOOD! GORE! VIOLENCE! HELL YEAH!"
HS: "And finally, the Main Event of the evening, a match years in the making, Dark Warrior and Jayson Price both put their respective World Titles on the line for the Undisputed AWA Championship! It’s going to be a thriller!"
FJ: "Both of these men have the skills, talent and motivation to win. It’ll just be about which man out lasts the other!"
HS: "All this, and more, still to come tonight, live from Madison Square Garden!"
FJ: "WOOT! WOOT!"
HS: "Ok, I’m getting word that our own Larry Porter is standing backstage with Orlando Ortega, the winner of tonight’s Cruiserweight Title Match… Larry?"
FJ: "You may be right Herb, but whilst you have the pleasure of sitting next to me all night, my former "Running mate" is backstage, but before we meet up with Larry, we have a quick preview of what’s in store for you tonight"
(The AWATron flickers and springs into life with a two minute preview of the night ahead of us, before it cuts to Larry Porter backstage, who is fixing his bow tie.)
Larry: "We on? OK... I'm Larry Porter standing here with the NEW AWA Cruiserweight Champion, Orlando Ortega. Orlando, can you comment any on your victory?"
OOO: "Larry, I must say that this was a hard fought victory and I first want to give credit to my opponent, Jeremy Price. You fought a great battle and I'm honored to have taken the title off your waist."
Larry: "And about the match?"
OOO: "Well, as usual, the Outrageous One came out the victor, and I must say, I had to pull out all the stops. Price had me reeling there for a bit, but I got it together and achieved victory. I finally brought honor to my Ortega name."
Larry: "Any words to prospective challengers, or anyone in the AWA locker room?"
OOO: "Whoever is next in line, I welcome the challenge. After all, to become a true champion, you have to have a few good title defences, eh? My next goal is to break Blackjack's cruiserweight record. I ended Rawstarr's streak, and I want to conquer the best."
Larry: "Well, then good luck with that. Orlando Ortega everyone."
(The camera switches to another location backstage, where Kelly Gunns is standing next to The Legendary Low and Ramona A. Stone. Kelly appears to be anything but comfortable standing next to Low.)
GUNNS: "I am standing next to the 5-time AWA World Heavyweight Champion The Legendary Low, who is returning to the ring against long-time nemesis King Chozen. Do you have any final words for your opponent?"
LOW: "Hi Kelly... this is almost exactly one year to the day we've been so close the last time, isn't it?"
(Low is smiling while Kelly looks disgusted.)
GUNNS: "You were creepy as The Voyeur and you're creepy as Low!"
LOW: "Yeah, yeah, yeah, it really doesn't matter, but it's still fun to freak you out. But you don't matter, the only thing that matters tonight is King Chozen. Chozen, you have barely spoken a word in the week leading up to this and I hope for the sake of your well-being that you spent all that time training and getting back into ring shape. But I doubt it. Tonight I will prove just how delusional you were when you claimed you outshine me in every aspect. I will prove everything I said this week to be correct - that you are a disappointment, possibly the biggest underachiever in AWA history, a complete fraud and a seasonal worker."
GUNNS: "Can I go now?"
LOW: "No, you can't, because I have something to say to the two 'men' competing in tonight's main even. Jeff Christianson, Jayson Price, you are a part of what should by all account by one of the biggest matches in AWA history. But I doubt either one of you has the ability to carry that ball. The winner will be the Undisputed AWA World Heavyweight Champion, but it is up to you to establish what that means. It is up to you to establish a standard that everybody coming after you is going to be judged by."
RAMONA: "It means establishing a standard that will easily be exceeded by Low once he sets his sight on regaining his gold for the 6th time."
LOW: "Dark Warrior, Misery, you have history at your hands, you better make sure to make the best of it if you expect to be taken seriously among the greats of the AWA."
GUNNS: "Let's go back to ringside."
(The shot cuts back to the ringside area as everyone’s attention focuses on the AWATron as blood begins to drip from the top of the tron as "Raining Blood" by Slayer begins to play. The respond from the crowd is mixed and minimum. Saidogai arrives to the ramp from the back. He keeps his eyes on the ring as he makes his way down before pulling himself up to the canvas. He steps over the ropes and into the ring, removing his shirt. He drops it behind the ring and begins to practice some martial art movements .)
FJ: I am sure this guy is GOING to pick up the win. He's a monster, look at him!
HS: Frank, many other guys, who are involved in the match, have probably the same, or even more chances than Saidogai.
FJ: What is the matter with you? 10 months away from me just turned you into a different man... it's almost scary!
HS: Frank, you just don't KNOW Shock guys... LAY OFF!
('Raining Blood' is suddenly cut off as "Tank!" by the Seatbelts hits the speakers. Spike Spiegel walks down to the ring and stops halfway down the ramp before looking into the crowd. He then walks down to the ring and slides in it, getting on his feet immediately and staring into Saidogai who is still practicing Martial Arts movements.)
HS: That's how important your Xplosion superstar is. Saidogai is not even acknowledging Spiegel's presence.
FJ: HEY! Umm... Spiegel got attacked by the Raincoat Man... whatdya expect? Spiegel isn't even fit to fight in this Battle Royal.
HS: Frank, that attacked happened weeks ago.
FJ: Oh... yeah.
(Then, ''Tank!'' slowly fades off as the first lyrics of ''When Worlds Collide'' by Powerman 5000 start being heard over the P.A. system. An incredible chorus of boos is heard immediately all around the arena as the song starts to get loud.)
HS: Not very much sympathy for your guys, huh, Frank?
FJ: ...
(Damion suddenly walks from the back and onto the stage before doing a 't' pose, showing off. Damion quickly makes his way to the ring but stops right at the bottom of the ramp, looking untruthfully at Spiegel and, mostly, at Saidogai. Damion ignores the boos fro the crowd as he walks around the ring, almost trying to check out every single detail going on around it and inside it. Then, the boos turn to unbelievable cheers as ''When World Collide'' fades off to give way to haunting voices of children, heard over the P.A. system...)
''"Ring around the rosie Pocket full of posie Ashes, ashes We all fall down"
(Pyro erupts on the stage as ‘Sleeping Awake’ by POD hits the sound system. The lights fade in an out with the guitar riff. A.J. Saints walks through the smoke of his pyro and spreads his hands out, soaking up the cheers, with 'The Baron' Jack Mathers walking out behind him. A.J. walks down to the ring, confidently, as the Baron stays behind. Then, Saints gets inside the ring before getting on his feet and confidently goes to each of the four sides of the ropes, throwing the anarchy horns into the air to a roar from the crowd.)
FJ: Saidogai has Saints right there! Why not give him a surprise attack for invading his space?
HS: Frank, two things: One, did you see the reaction for Saints from the crowd? Two, both Saints and Saidogai are Shock quality. They won't attack each other unless necessary. They don't have anything against each other.
FJ: You mean unlike Spiegel and Damion?
HS: Huh?
(The shot switches from Saints to the outside of the ring where Spiegel and Damion are brawling with each other. Then, 'Sleeping Awake' fades off before 'Money Ain't a Thang' starts playing, making the crowd boo and jeer as loud as they can. Hollywood Blue then walks out from the back and walks straight towards the ring, being bumped by Spiegel, in his brawl with Damion, accidentally. Without hesitation, Blue joins the brawl on the outside.)
FJ: HA HA! That was funny! Stupid Shock superstar!
HS: Shut up, Frank! Either way, he's dominating the brawl.
(Blue grabs Spiegel by the hair, tossing him against the steel guardrail. Then, Damion jumps on Blue's back and tries a sleeper hold on the big man, but Blue sees the steel ring post, turns around and backs up desperately, squashing Damion's body between his and the steel ring post with a loud CLING!)
HS: In your face!
('Money Ain't a Thang'' is interrupted by a sudden ''Whatsupwitu'' by Eddie Murphy, featuring Michael Jackson. He gets a mixed, yet poor reaction from the crowd as he charges from the back, down the ramp, and straight towards his former Tag Team partner in the NPD.)
FJ: Kick his buttocks, Rawstarr!
HS: Pfft!
(Rawstarr, at the last second, slides in the ring, creating an immediate reaction from Saints and Saidogai, but later they ignore him as Rawstarr quickly climbs the top turnbuckle and jumps up with his Fly Raw onto Hollywood Blue. Blue, though, with his strength, catches Blue in mid air and uses Rawstarr's own momentum to take drive him down to the concrete with his patented Blue Driver!)
FJ: Sweet Jesus! Can't these guys just get along?
HS: Frank, it was Hollywood Blue who took Rawstarr's money and left him completely homeless. What do you expect? Besides, Hollywood threatened to destroy Rawstarr, just a couple of days ago.
FJ: You haven't changed a bit, have you? 'Yeah, I know all there is about the AWA... blah, blah, blah-blah''.
(Suddenly, ''Whatsupwitu'' fades off abruptly as white, red, gold, and green lights flash as ''No Remorse'' by Metallica hits the arena, making Saidogai, AJ Saints and Hollywood Blue turn towards the entrance. When the solo begins in the song, about 10 seconds from start, NHL emerges from the curtain area. He stands there for a moment, staring out around the crowd, getting psyched up for the upcoming match. A short while later, NHL explodes from his trance with rage and excitement. He walks down the ramp, throwing his arms in the air, pumping himself up and the crowd for the upcoming clash. NHL then pauses in front of the ring for a few seconds, as if he couldn't wait to get in. He then makes his way to the ring steps, taking his time climbing up each step completely ignoring Blue who's just a few feet from him. NHL takes his time getting into the ring through the top and middle ropes. He walks to the middle of the ring, and slowly raises his arms in the air. He makes his way to the nearest turnbuckle and slowly raises his arms again. As he drops down, he turns around to find himself being stared at by both Saidogai and AJ Saints. Then, Saints looks at Saidogai and Saidogai looks at Saints. The crowd starts cheering, expecting whatever is to come next but all three men, after a few seconds of staring, nod at each other and just stand in place.)
HS: Fans, what expectation by this new superstar! It is his first match in this federation and he is getting the crowd to like him already.
FJ: I bet he would've gone to Xplosion if there never had excited a merger.
HS: Whatever. Fans, look for this man to make it big in this industry... make it big just like any other man, interested enough, makes it.
(A tremendous wave of boos and jeers explode around the arena as ''No Remorse'' is cut off as the lights dim to a dark blue, and the screen comes to life. It shows the view of a limo from the bottom... before static begins to fuzz up the picture. It fades away for a bit, showing a foot stepping out from the open door... before the static returns, this time carrying a faint voice, calling out "His time is here...". The intro to Drowning Pool's "Tearing Away" kicks up, only without the words. The screen begins to show the camera moving up the feet... to the picture of a flowing, golden robe, sparkling in the night. The voice speaks once more, whispering, "God has arrived...". And finally, the camera rests upon the pure white eyes of a black man... "And his name is JJ Mynuz." And with that, the intro cuts, and so do the lights and screen. The boos grow louder as JJ Mynuz makes his way from the back and stands on the top of the ramp with a very arrogant attitude on himself.)
FJ: Ugh! And you call this man a Shock superstar? That's pathetic! The god gimmick had been already taken, my friend!
HS: Yes... I am not one to judge the AWA superstars, Frank.
FJ: As if you hadn't done that before?
HS: Frank! Look!
(Everyone cheers as Maxx Skabb runs through the curtains and nails JJ Mynuz on the back of the head, making the black man rolls down the ramp, hurting himself in the way. ''Tearing Away'' is abruptly cut off as Skabb pulls Mynuz up by the hair and drags him towards the ring before rolling him under the bottom rope. Spiegel rolls himself inside the ring, as well as Damion who are immediately assaulted by Saidogai. Hollywood Blue and Skabb, then, start a brawl of their own on the outside.)
HS: Now this has gone out of control. The referee better starts doing something about this.
FJ: Yeah! That's why we pay... quality referees is what we need.
(Skabb takes a quick advantage over Blue before rolling him inside the ring. Skabb, without hesitation, rolls inside the ring himself. Rawstarr slowly gets up and, with the help of the referee who had gone outside to assist him, rolled himself inside the ring. The bell is rung and the match officially started. Saidogai pulls Spiegel up by the hair, looks around for the approval of the crowd, and, after getting it, picks him up as in an Evil Bomb but instead of tossing him on the mat, send him flying over the top rope and landing back first on the concrete!!)
FJ: Oh my God! Saidogai just killed Spike Spiegel! He's the first eliminated!
HS: No, he's not! AJ Saints eliminated Damion pretty much at the same time with a running clothesline towards the outside over the top rope! Incredible.
(At that moment, NHL had held Rawstarr by the hair before tossing him over the top rope, making him hit his back with the steel guard rail.)
HS: Three down!
(Meanwhile, Maxx Skabb assaults Mynuz with a series of rights and lefts before picking him up with the Modified Version of the Mandible Claw and holding him there for over an entire minute. JJ screams in agony but isn't able to do anything due to the pain in his mouth. Finally, Skabb gathers more strength and pulls Mynuz up even more, before sending him down to the concrete, over the top rope, with a choke slam.)
HS: Oh my goodness! Skabb choke slammed JJ Mynuz over the Top Rope but made it so that JJ would hit the ring apron with his back and head before landing on the concrete!!
FJ: That was insane, I love this Skabb guy evil and vicious!
( NHL is back on the attack going after Saidogai he turns him around and punches him in the face, Saidogai delivers another punch this one sends NHL back some. AJ Saints goes after Skabb has they both trying pushing each other over the ropes, both grabbing the bottom with one hand as they trying with force to shove each other over it. Skabb rakes AJ Saints eyes and both men step away as Skabb clotheslines him hard to the mat. Hollywood Blue goes for the attack on Skabb and he clubs him hard as he falls into the turnbuckle sternum and face first. Blue tries pushing him over the top and Saints gets up and uses Blues own leaning body weight to toss him up and over crashing hard to the outside by the ring post on his back.)
HS: The big man goes down!
FJ: That was crafty of Saints, I think I could possibly like this kid, you know if he was always crafty like that.
HS: Indeed it was a smart move but now its Skabb and Saints face to face and Saidogai and NHL Face to Face, it’s the Final Four!
(All four men look around the ring at everybody, all eyes on the monster Saidogai for a moment and Skabb starts the attack with a tackle to the knee that sends him into the turnbuckle. AJ Saint runs at Saidogai with a Jumping splash to him in the corner. They all try lifting and pushing him over the top but he’s much to big and is holding his own. All 3 men are trying hard to get him over but to no avail and he somehow musters the strength to knock them all away with punches all around as he throws them off him and they step back.)
HS: Saidogai just pushed off 3 guys.
FJ: there were 9 earlier, did you se him do it then?
HS: Well the opportunity never…
FJ: I made my point
(Skabb chop blocks Saidogai has the big man hit’s the ground hard and then Saints and NHL go face to face and they actually lock up in the middle of the ring and exchange two arm wrenches.)
HS: There are two men actually putting on a technical wrestling show here, very impressive.
FJ: it’s every man for himself over the top rope, why do that?
HS: To wear down your opponent.
FJ: Just throw him over!
(NHL whips Saints into the ropes and delivers a sleeper hold but Saints elbows out of it and tosses NHL into the ropes but he grabs onto the ropes and Saints charges at him but NHL Ducks it and back drops Saints up and over the ropes but he lands on the apron and forearms the back of NHL’s head then rushes to the top rope. And goes onto it running across it then leaping off onto NHL has he spins around and into a cross body!)
HS: My god did you see that?
FJ: He was like running on water!
(NHL is downed for a moment and AJ Saint springs up to his feet to a huge pop from the fans and then he runs over and forearms Skabb in the upper back and then kicks Saidogai in the stomach he runs back and clotheslines Saidogai against the ropes and he falls back but not over Skabb then kicks the top rope and the legs of Saidogai in the process making him go totally up and over to the outside.)
HS: Saidogai has been eliminated, it’s a triple threat now!
FJ: I liked how Skabb did that
HS: It was AJ
FJ: He just helped, Skabb finished the job.
(Saints tries throwing Skabb over the top rope by the head but Skabb holds onto the turnbuckle and doesn’t go anywhere, he then kicks Saints square in between the legs and Slaps him across the face, Saints turns and goes straight to his knees in agony.)
FJ: HAHA, everything this Skabb guy does is great, he kills me!
HS: That was totally unnecessary and very un sports men like.
FJ: It’s every man and I guess everything for it self in this one.
( Skabb delivers multiple closed fist punches to the face of AJ Saints up on his forehead and after the 4th one he delivers a vicious elbow right on top of the forehead as Saints falls back. NHL is coming after Skabb now who Ducks the clothesline and tries to deliver one of his own to NHL but he blocks it with both his arms up and throws the arm down and then kicks the gut of Sabb and delivers a huge forearm to the face as he Picks him up fast and hard delivering a vicious Arm Anderson like Spine buster in the corner at the ground. Saints his getting up now and he pulls down NHL by the tights like he is rolling him up but just so he lands hard on his back and the back of his head, he then grabs both feet and slingshots him into the corner and he lands on his feet after the blow and his feet land on the chest of Skabb who is really feeling the pain now. AJ Saints goes t the middle of the ring and throws both hands up and spins around as the crowd cheers him on and then NHL comes after him but Saints ducks it and throws him into the ropes but NHL counters that and brings it back for a short arm clothesline and holds on and picks him up again and gets him up on his shoulder going to the ropes and tosses Saints up and over to the outside.)
HS: NHL Used an arm wrench and him on his shoulders to prevent Saints from even trying to stop that, smart move there.
FJ: it’s the last men left!.
HS: Your right Frank and boy is this one going to be interesting. Both men have been very impressive lets see how they go toe to toe.
(Skabb is getting up in the corner and NHL is looking right at him he walks slowly to the corner and holds up a hand, trying to get Skabb out and lock up for a grapple and test of strength, Skabb comes out and goes with it…but only for a second as Skabb kicks NHL hard in the stomach then grabs his hand and puts it in the strength test and spins it, playing mercy with the man he just cheap shotted, he wrenches down and up with it and punches him in the face.)
HS: Skabb is truly a great professional.
FJ: Herb your coming around!
HS: No I’m not that was a true show of what kind of man Skabb is.
FJ: A smart one.
HS: A low one…oh god not another low blow!
( Skabb just dropped down and delivered a vicious low blow to NHL and he hopped up with it and fell into the ropes. Skabb laughed as he punches him in the face and then European uppercuts him and picks him up in a suplex fishermen style falling back quick and hard with a fishermen buster as he gets up and climbs to the second rope. And leaps off with a big fist to the face of NHL, but he gets nothing but mat! NHL rolls away and gets up and grabs his head putting it firmly in a front face lock and lifts him up spinning some and delivering a huge implant DDT! The crowd cheers him on with his come back and then he Picks him up again and throws him into the ropes on the return he delivers a huge reverse elbow to the face and Skabb hit’s the ropes again and NHL charges with a clothesline for the victory!)
HS: NO NO Skabb held on, he only landed on the apron
FJ: NHL couldn’t do it.
( Skabb lands on the apron and then pulls NHL by the head to the ropes and tries bringing him out and over but he comes through the ropes and now it’s a battle on the apron. Both men punching at each other, its going back and forth, Skabb walks back and then tries for a real low kick, another low blow. NHL Catches it though and he holds it just looking Skabb in the eyes.)
HS: NHL has Skabb by the foot. He’s just toying with him.
FJ: He’s an evil person, you can’t just toy with your opponent like that!
( NHL pulls Skabb in to a front face lock and lifts him up delivering a strong brain buster DDT on the apron as Skabb comes falling to the apron and then rolls onto the floor as NHL Slides under the ropes and into the ring standing up as the bell sounds.)
HS: Skabb’s plan backfired and now NHL is going to be facing the new Champion for the New No Limit Title.
(The scene fades to somewhere around the backstage area. The hallway is well lit and a couple of guys, part of the AWA crew, are walking down the hallway, drinking coffee and talking amongst themselves. Frank Lascar and Richard Ample. As they both walk past a metal garbage can, Lascar tosses his coffee cup in it and, for some reason, creating an immediate reaction from his fellow AWA crewman.)
Ample: Eh, that’s odd.
Lascar: What’s odd?
Ample: The janitor in charge of this wing was supposed to have cleared the garbage cans a few minutes ago.
Lascar: As in…?
(Just out of curiosity, Ample peaks inside the garbage. The sight makes him jump back a few feet, trip over Lascar’s foot, and fall on the ground on his arse, at the same time, spilling the rest of his coffee on his yellow shirt.)
Lascar: Are you ok? (Sarcastically) Man, seek some help!
(Ample, still sitting on the ground, starts pointing at the garbage can and mentioning non-understandable words. His face looks pale and his lips look purple. The look on his face is of pure terror. Lascar, getting scared himself by the look on Ample’s face, gathers strength from inside and decides to peak inside the garbage can as well. Already warned by Ample’s reaction to the sight, Lascar, after looking inside, only covers his mouth with both hands in a sign of disbelieve. Pointing at what’s inside, Lascar turns to face Ample who is just getting up from the floor.)
Lascar: Richard, it’s a--
(All of the sudden, the AWA Tron goes to static, making the crowd boo and jeer. The shot cuts to Frank Johnson and Herb Summers, each with a confused look on their faces)
FJ: What the hell was that?
HS: I don’t know, Frank, but whatever it is, you saw the reaction is created on our co-workers. Somebody should go back there and check what is going on.
FJ: For the first time in my life, I agree with you, Summers. That was live, not pre-recorder so if anybody goes back there about right now, they’ll still be there and we’ll know what was in that garbage can… whatever it was.
HS: Fans, hopefully we will have information on whatever just happened around the locker room area.
(Before going back to Herb and Frank at the Commentator’s table, the scene cuts to where we can once again see Larry Porter backstage)
Larry: "I'm here, backstage with Nathan Hawthorne-Lee, NHL, who has just won a hard fought victory in the Wrestlefest VI Battle Royale Invitational over some top names like Rawstarr, Maxx Skabb and Damion, among a whole array of newcomers. Tell me, how are you feeling after this match?"
NHL: "Well, as you said, this was a very hard fought match. I was saying it all week long that NHL was going to win. I want to direct this to Maxx Skabb though. Maxx, I told you that I was going to stand in your way of victory. I told you that I was going to enjoy it, too. Now look at this, I am really enjoying it. I have just won the Battle Royal and I know get the shot at the first ever No Limit Champion."
Larry: "Now that you've won the battle royale, you're the number one contender for the new AWA No-Limit title, which will be competed for later on in the evening. Do you have any words for whoever the winner of that match might be? Or anything in particular you want to say to any of the opponents?"
NHL: "All I have to say is that now that I have become the No. 1 Contender, everyone should be watching out. NHL didn't come into the AWA to do nothing. NHL came into the AWA to be dominant, and I just showed that here today. Just know this, the SlapShot is coming, but there is nothing you can do about it!"
Larry: "Well, there you have it folks. Strong words for the new number one contender for the AWA Exclusive, No Limit title."
(The scene cuts back to Herb and Frank ringside as they eagerly await the next match)
HS:"Frank here we go with the No limit Title Match"
FJ:"I am excited Herb, this is going to be great."
(Lights flicker the screen sputters with static, Miseria Cantare begins to play the fans chant along with the lyrics "Love, your hate... Your, faith lost... You, are now... one, of us")
FJ:"Herb this guy is ah…Weird…"
HS:"I’ll agree with that and add a bit more, he is going to be in tough tonight."
FJ:"Well here comes the up and coming star "The Gambit" I am starting to like this guy."
(The arena darkens slowly. An air siren begins to sound, with green spotlights shooting in all directions as an infamous slogan is revealed on the big screen: )
COME’ N’ PLACE YA BETS!!’
(Welcome to the Jungle" suddenly thunders from the P.A system. The Gambit steps out from behind the curtain, a traditional cigarette in his mouth as he stalks his way down to the ring, ignoring the boos and jeers of the crowd. He circles the ring, rolls in and stands on the turnbuckle surveying the fans with a grin. He hops off and stops for a minute receiving the insults of all the fans. He then walks slowly over to the top rope before perching himself on the top rope raising his right arm in the air as the crowd boos and hisses. )
HS:"The crowd seems to really dislike him."
FJ:"It’s great to be hated, aint it Herb,"
HS:"Speaking of the crowd they love our next combatant."
(he lights of the arena slips into a soft dim. The first guitar rifts of "I'm Just a Kid" by Simple Plan echo from the speakers. Never having heard the music before the fans wait in uncertain silence. As the first verse a pair of spotlights
(white and red) slowly begin to circle around the arena. The moment "I'M JUST A KID!" erupts from the speakers Fury comes jumping out from behind the curtains, hands held out wide to the crowd, and that grinning smirk plastered on his face. The crowd is quickly on its feet, cheering the fun loving wrestler. He stands as if embarrassing the fans until the end of the chorus, when Noelani comes stepping out as well.. wearing a black and white plaid skirt, black baby-t with the word "Poison" written over the chest in purple. Hair is pulled up in pigtails, with combats finishing off the outfit. The pair make their way to the ring, greeting the fans as they pass. After climbing into the ring Fury turns slowly just at the word "I'm just a kid tonight!" holding arms up to the crowd.. )
FJ:"They love him, but damn it I hate that song."
HS:"And last but not least Draven Shadows will make his way to the ring."
A girl says in a dark cold voice:
"Hear Me now!
All crimes should be
treasured if they bring
thee pleasure somehow..."
(The girls voice echo's throughout the arena as a crow cawing then takes the place of the girls voice. Cradle of Filth's "Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids" begins to play as the arena goes a dark. Around the ring fire appears out of no where. The camera rises up to show on the big-screen that the fire makes the shape of a crow around it. The lights come back on and Draven Shadows and Heather stand in the ring. Some fans jump out of their seat at shock seeing Draven just appear out of no where. Draven takes off his trench coat and hands it to the tech guy as the fire around the ring dies out. Heather gets out of the ring as Draven gets ready for his match. )
FJ:"I saw this guy wearing a kilt once…"
HS:"He can wear what ever he wants as far as I am concerned. He scares me just a little."
(All four men are in the ring, and finally the bell sounds as everyone circles and gets ready to attack. Fury starts the action running directly towards Shadows, however Shadows counters with a massive big boot that nearly takes off Fury’s head. Fury hits the ground hard, and Shadows mounts his throwing several close fisted punches, before lifting Fury up and tossing him right over the top tope to the floor. Lasiewicz at this point in time has thrown a series of solid lefts and right and put Adryn on the mat, he then comes barrelling across the ring, and up and over ht op rope as well in a suicide dive, taking Fury out on the floor again. The crowd cheers loudly as "The Gambit" connects with heights.)
FJ:"Wow, a great start to this match, now remember anything goes out side that ring."
(Shadows goes over to McLeon, and not satisfied he lifts him and whips him to the ropes, before delivering a clothesline that turns him inside out. Shadows lifts him up and then delivers a DDT. Shadows then joins the party outside the ring. Lasiewicz is hammering away on Fury when Shadows interjects with a stiff chair shot that puts Lasiewicz down hard. Shadows then picks off Fury with the chair as well as he tries to get to his feet.)
HS:"Draven Shadows is decimating everything in sight tonight."
FJ:"He really wants that title."
(McLeon has slowly gotten up and he too exits the ring to have a little fun. Lasiewicz is getting up now and as McLeon grabs a chair himself Lasiewicz intercepts him and plants it back into his face by kicking it into him. Shadows charges Lasiewicz but receives a back drop onto the concrete. Fury again starts to get up and then Lasiewicz puts him back down with a text book suplex.)
HS:"All hell is breaking loose all four men are outside the ring."
FJ:"Wait a second Herb, what Is Lasiewicz looking for?"
HS:"Oh god Frank, he is getting that 20 foot ladder."
(Lasiewicz sets up the ladder but leaves it for a moment, he walks back towards Shadows and lifts him into the air, however the seven footer responds with a knee to the gut on his way up. Shadows then spins in behind Lasiewicz and attempts a German Suplex however Lasiewicz counters again hooking Shadow’s leg and sweeping it out from under him.)
HS:"A nice counter by Lasiewicz"
FJ:"Draven is just playing with him Herb."
(Lasiewicz looks as if he going for the standing Figure Four, however Fury comes out of nowhere, and delivers a drop kick to Lasiewicz’s head sending him toppling over, Draven gets up and grabs Fury from behind attempting a reverse DDT, however Fury spins out and under Shadows, delivering a drop toe hold that sends Draven down to the concrete face first again.)
(Shadows slowly starts to get up and now McLeon comes into the picture and delivers a leg drop on the back of Draven’s head driving him into the concrete again. McLeon picks up Draven and whips him into the ring stairs head long, dislodging the top set and leaving Draven grabbing at his shoulder. Fury then catches McLeon admiring his work. Fury runs the length of the apron now and springboards off the middle rope to the floor, connecting with a asai Moonsault.)
HS:"High risk from Fury right there Frank."
(Fury stands up and salutes the crowd, and Shadows has yet to move. Meanwhile Lasiewicz has slide back inside the ring. Fury again mounts the apron and prepares for looks to be a running dropkick on the downed Draven Shadows, however as Fury begins his full out run he gets caught directly on the chin with Lasiewicz’s super kick he calls the Peace Maker.)
HS:"Good god Frank, he nearly decapitated him."
FJ:"What a kick Herb!"
(The camera focuses on Fury laying completely motionless on the concrete, he appears to be out cold, Shadows finally makes his way up to his feet, and he walks directly towards Fury, he grabs Fury and then whips him into the steps. Fury’s knee hits hard he flips up and over the steps landing hard near the barricade. McLeon no comes back into the picture he throws a shot at Draven, before Draven then returns with another one. Then Draven throws three or four more, before delivering a blatant low blow, and then whipping McLeon into the ring post. McLeon hits the post hard, and as we look carefully we see a small stream of blood start to flow from his head.)
FJ:"Adryn is busted open Herb."
HS:"I think it was only a matter of time tonight."
(Lasiewicz then exit’s the ring, he stalks towards Fury before lifts him up and offering a disrespectful slap. Fury responds infuriated with his own slap, Lasiewicz then drops down and takes Fury’s knee out, with a chop block. He grabs Fury’s leg again this time hauls him up by it, As Fury grits his teeth in pain, Lasiewicz delivers a dragonscrew leg whip, that not only dislocates Fury’s knee, but also sends him flying into the steel barricade.)
FJ:"Very insightful manoeuvre there"
HS:"I think Fury is going to need to get that leg looked at now."
FJ:"Herb Lasiewicz is setting him up for the Four Card Trick."
(Lasiewicz seems to be in control when Shadows comes flying through with a vicious clothesline knocking everyone down in his way. He looks around briefly before noticing the ladder standing tall. He looks back just in time to see McLeon swing a chair at his head, Draven ducks and McLeon connects with the ring post, Draven then drives him back down into the stairs with a DDT. He then sees McLeon laying helpless on the chairs and a sick sadistic smirk comes over his face. He walks towards the second section of the stairs, lifts them up. And put them on top of McLeon.)
HS:"What the hell is he going to do?"
FJ:"I am not sure but it doesn’t look good for Adryn.."
(Draven leaves the stairs sitting on top of McLeon, before going inside the ring, and climbing to the top rope. He perches himself and looks down at the helpless McLeon.)
HS:"NO Frank, he will kill him…"
FJ:"Haha…Scottish pancakes coming right up Herb."
(Draven leaps and drives his feet and weight down on the stairs laying on McLeon. McLeon’s feet fly up and the stairs fly off of him sideways, he clutches at his chest and midsection, as Draven looks on and laughs to himself.)
HS:"That was sick."
FJ:"There are no limits, and Draven Shadows obviously doesn’t have any either."
HS:"Look though Frank, this lunatic isn’t finished yet."
(Draven spots the injured Fury, but first on his way through he has an encounter with Lasiewicz, "The Gambit" throws a punch, and then another, before Draven connects with a boot to the gut, and a gut wrench suplex onto the concrete. He then picks up Fury and basically drags his injured body towards the ladder. He then put Fury over his shoulder and starts to climb to the top of the ladder. Draven reaches the top rung, and the fans are booing incessantly.)
HS:"God no…Frank, he is going to Kill Fury"
FJ:"Is he going to drop him into the ring?"
HS:"Get ready to Quote the Crow Nevermore"
FJ:"Fury wont be quoting anyone…I hope he has a will made out"
(Draven looks about and gets ready to deliver his finisher from the ladder to the inside, however "The Gambit" is stirring, he is also climbing the ladder now. As Draven prepares to take the drop, Lasiewicz shoves him and Fury causing them to fall precariously into the ring. Shadows
Hits hard and bounces on his hip and back, while Fury takes the full brunt of the fall landing on his shoulder and neck. Lasiewicz then looks around and leaps delivering a horridly devastating elbow drop into the heart of Fury. McLeon is still down and being attended to on the outside, while Draven is still trying to get up. Lasiewicz however covers Fury.)
HS:" 1.…………2.…………Is Draven going to make it?"
FJ:"I don’t think so….3!!!!"
(Draven dove to try and break up the count, however he was as split second late, as the refs hand hit three first.)
HS:"We have the first ever No Limits Champion Frank"
FJ:"The Gambit has done it…"
("Welcome to the Jungle" starts to play as Lasiewicz is presented with the new AWA No Limits Title, he proudly straps the belt around his waist. Suddenly, "No Remorse" by Metallica starts to play and the newly crowned Number One Contender, NHL appears on the ramp way. He makes his way towards the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope and standing face-to-face with the AWA No Limit Champion. The two just stare at each over for a few moments, before NHL breaks his stare. He gently taps the title that is around Lasiewicz’s waist before he backs up slowly and exits the ring and walks backwards up the ramp. He stands on the stage for a few more seconds, then turns to leave for the back.)
FJ: "Wow, that rookie sure has some nerve"
HS: "and he doesn’t deserve to after his impressive performance here earlier?"
(The AWA Tron comes to live once again showing Frank Lascar and Richard Ample rushing down a hallway. Richard Ample has a black plastic bag in hand, apparently, with something inside it.)
Ample: Mr. Goldstein is NOT going to believe this. He’s NOT going to believe it.
Lascar: Do you think he’ll give us a reward or something?
Ample: By free will, I doubt it. All I know is that he MUST give us a rewa—
Voice: What the hell are you two doing here? What’s the rush?
(Lascar and Ample recognize the voice coming from behind them and stop dead on their tracks, both with a scared look on their faces. As they turn around, they see none other than Ted Goldstein, with both of his arms on his hips and with a face that tells everyone that he isn’t in a very good mood.)
Goldstein: I thought I asked you two worms something. What the HELL are you doing here? You’re supposed to be at the control room!
(Lascar and Ample look at each other, without knowing what to say at first. Then, Ample steps forward.)
Ample: Mr. Goldstein, sir, we—
Goldstein: Why is your shirt stained. It is against the politics of the organization to come to work dressed like that! You’re f—
Ample: NO, sir, look, that’s the reason why I… we came all the way over here. We were on our way to your office.
Goldstein: What for?
(At that moment, it is Lascar who steps forward and directs Ted Goldstein.)
Lascar: Sir, I… we found something that we are sure could be of great interest so we—
Goldstein: can’t you see I’m a busy man? I can’t be attending any request for raises or anyt—
Ample: It’s a black raincoat, sir.
HS: What!?
FJ: Check out the look on the boss’ face. It’s simply… priceless!!
(Goldstein changes his attitude and reaches immediately for the plastic bag in Ample’s hands. Ample hesitates and snatches it from Goldstein’s right hand but, to his luck, Goldstein is interested in something else. Another reach later, the plastic bag is in Goldstein’s right hand.)
Goldstein: Where did you found this?
Ample & Lascar: …
Goldstein: Where?!?
Lascar: Inside a garbage can, sir…
Ample: We were taking a coffee brake and—
Goldstein: Yeah, yeah. Get back to work. I will keep this and—
HS: Now what?
(Suddenly, the lights in the hallway go completely black and, just as everyone though it was another interruption, the sound of metal smashing against skulls, grunts, screams and pleads are heard loudly over the sound system of the arena. Then, the sound of a plastic bag being violently ripped to pieces is heard. A few seconds later, the lights around the hallway turn back on to show a shocking view of three bodies lying on the ground almost unconscious, all beaten, bloodied, bruised and battered; a bent up metal chair and shreds of the black plastic back are resting on the ground as well, next to the victims. No signs of the black raincoat are seen anywhere. The shot cuts back to Frank and Herb as the AWA Tron slowly fades to black.)
HS: Another attack from the Raincoat Man!! When will it stop?!
FJ: What surprises me the most is… why was the black raincoat abandoned inside a garbage can?
HS: "Maybe the answer to that question and many more will be answered later on tonight!"
FJ: "Yeah maybe, as well as who is going to win the match of the "Returning Superstars?"
HS: "You never know and the answer to that question is coming up right now as up next is the return of two AWA superstars to in-ring action after being inactive for several months. These men have faced off several times over the past three years, but tonight marks the first time these two adversaries battle it out on a big stage like Wrestlefest VI."
(We cut to a video package recalling many of the meetings between The Legendary Low and King Chozen. We see Low applying the Low Profile to win their previously biggest match in 2002, we see Chozen spearing Ramona A. Stone, we see Chozen holding up the AWA Tag Team title belt while Low is walking away from the ring in anger. We then cut back into Madison Square Garden where the crowd suddenly jumps up as Collision Course's "Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You" starts to play over the speakers.)
HS: "King Chozen is a 2-time AWA United States Champion. He teamed with Jaeger Khrushchev to defeat Jayson Price AND Low in a tournament final to win the AWA Tag Team title earlier this year – his only victory over Low to date."
FJ: "Hey, Chozen's great, he's cool, he's popular and all that stuff, but considering the circumstances tonight, I am sure it's going to stay his only victory over Low."
HS: "That remains to be seen."
(Chozen walks down the aisle, cracking a smile and slapping the fans' hands. He slides into the ring and jumps up and down a few times before bouncing off the ropes.)
HS: "They clearly love one of their own."
FJ: "Low is one of their own, too."
HS: "Well, he only moved here four years ago."
FJ: "They still see him as one of them."
(Suddenly ALL the lights in the arena go on and we can see each and every person in Madison Square Garden. Then loud noises of guitar feedback start playing over the speakers and many fans are holding their ears because of the uneasy sound of what is Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music, Part IV". Most fans are starting to boo as The Legendary Low and Ramona A. Stone are coming out from the back.)
FJ: "He's back, he's back, I'm so glad he's back!"
HS: "Frank, you've always been the saddest of Low's supporters."
FJ: "Thanks, Herb."
(Low is wearing his familiar ring gear while Ramona is wearing black leather pants and a black leather jacket with a black top below. Her hair has become peroxide blonde and she doesn't look quite as healthy as she used to in recent years. Low has a serious look on his face and – unlike in the past – doesn't bother arguing with the fans or paying any attention to them.)
HS: "Low seems to be really focused in his return match, but I don't expect anything else from King Chozen either. We are witnessing two real professionals in that ring tonight."
(Low and Ramona stop just before the ring and briefly hug. Low then slides into the ring and walks straight at King Chozen. The noises fade away and the arena lights go out again as Low and Chozen are staring right at each other.)
HS: "Both men clearly respect each other, they made that very clear. However, Low doesn't think Chozen is at the level he is and has never fully developed his potential. Chozen, on the other hand, has a very different opinion on what success is and sees himself as outshining Low."
FJ: "And now the time for talking is over as the referee has called for the bell."
(The fans are now cheering AND jeering and are just very loud in anticipation of this match. Low and Chozen are standing only a few inches away from each other and we see them talking intensely.)
FJ: "So much for the talking being over, Herb."
HS: "Shut up, Frank! Both men, as we can see, are the same height, however Low outweighs Chozen by a good 30 pounds. Low is more of a technician, Chozen is very unorthodox."
(After a few more seconds of talking to each other, Low and Chozen finally lock up. At first, none of them seems to get an advantage, but Low quickly applies a side headlock on Chozen. Chozen Irish whips Low into the ropes, but Low sends Chozen down with a shoulder block. Low goes into the ropes again and this time Chozen leapfrogs him. Low comes running off the ropes and Chozen hits a calf kick. Cover gets 1..... and a kickout. Both men are up again and exchanging punches. Low hits a knee to Chozen's midsection, followed by an elbow to the back of his neck. Low sets up a rude awakening neckbreaker, but Chozen quickly counters with a backslide, getting 1..... and a quick kickout. Low then rolls out of the ring.)
HS: "The fans are applauding these first quick exchanges of this match."
FJ: "If Low tries to go Chozen's fast style he'll be at a disadvantage. He needs to focus on one body part and pick it apart."
(Low walks over to Ramona, but Ramona is too busy arguing with a fan at ringside to give him any advice. Low gives her a frustrated look before he focuses on Chozen again. Chozen is smiling at Low. Low slides back into the ring and immediately charges at Chozen, but Chozen sidesteps Low and sends him into the corner. Chozen starts running and nails Low with a splash in the corner. He Irish whips Low into the opposite corner and hits a second splash. After an elbow to Low's head Chozen hooks his head and then hits a quick snap suplex. He covers and gets 1..... and a kickout. Chozen lifts Low up again and goes for a spinning DDT, but Low grabs Chozen and just drops him face first. He goes into the ropes and goes for a legdrop to Chozen's neck, but Chozen rolls out of the way and Low misses him. Chozen follows with a senton splash and then covers for a another one-count.)
HS: "King Chozen is really putting the pressure on Low with all those cover attempts."
FJ: "And Low has yet to find a way to deal with the energetic style of Chozen."
(Chozen pulls Low up and sends him into the ropes. Low, however, grabs Chozen and reverses him into the ropes. He picks Chozen up and hits a spinebuster. The cover only gets a one-count. Low has now mounted Chozen and starts pounding away at his head with right fists. He then pulls Chozen up and takes him to the corner. There he hits a chop... and another one... and a fourth, fifth and sixth chop, each of them accompanied by a "Wooooo!" from the MSG crowd. Low then takes Chozen's left arm and wraps it around the top rope, pulling back until the referee's count of four. Low then hits several elbows on Chozen's shoulder before taking him down with an armbreaker.)
FJ: "Now Low has started what has made him so successful over the years."
HS: "Cheating?"
FJ: "Anybody who still says that is absolutely ignorant. No, idiot, taking out one body part and adjusting your entire tactic around it."
(Low has applied an armbar, but Chozen doesn't seem too hurt yet and easily gets onto his knees. He pushes him against the ropes and then hits a LOUD slap to Low's chest, causing a groan to go through the crowd. Low immediately releases the armbar and holds his chest. Chozen jumps up and hits a monkeyflip, then goes into the ropes and hits a somersault legdrop. He covers and gets 1..... 2..... and a quick kickout. Chozen goes for an Irish whip, but Low holds on to Chozen's arm, reverses, jumps over the top rope to the outside and slingshots Chozen's left arm over the top rope. Chozen is holding his shoulder in pain, but suddenly drops to the mat as Low is pulling his feet out from under him. Low pulls Chozen to the outside and leans him up against the guardrail, hitting three more chops.)
FJ: "Wooooo!"
HS: "Penis."
FJ: "HUH?!?!"
(Low has now applied a hammerlock and walks Chozen towards the ring post, sending him shoulder first into the hard steel. He applies the hammerlock again and moves towards the steel ring steps, but Chozen suddenly drops down and drop toeholds Low face first right onto the steel steps. The fans cheer as Low is holding his head and screaming in pain. Chozen rolls Low back into the ring and tries to follow him, but suddenly Ramona hits him over the shoulder with a chair! Chozen sinks to one knee as the referee immediately steps out of the ring and signals that he's banning Ramona from ringside. Ramona, however, just pushes the referee aside and walks towards Chozen, but Chozen explodes and hits the Chozen Spear on Ramona! The MSG crowd explodes!)
FJ: "No! No! Not again!"
HS: "Ramona A. Stone injected herself into this match and now she got what she deserved!"
(Officials come rushing down the aisle and take the unconscious Ramona to the back, all while the fans are chanting "Chozen! Chozen! Chozen!" Chozen wants to return to the ring, but Low prevents him from doing so with a baseball slide-type dropkick to Chozen's left shoulder. Low follows Chozen to the outside, obviously upset with what happened with Ramona. He angrily starts stomping away at Chozen's left shoulder and then sends him shoulder first into the steel steps. Low then walks Chozen over to the aisle, away from the protective mats around ringside. He hooks Chozen's left arm and hits another armbreaker, this time on the concrete floor, though. Chozen is holding his arm, while Low obviously hurt his back a little upon impact.)
FJ: "You know, Chozen is all reckless and puts his body on the line and so on, but Low does the same thing, just not as spectacularly as Chozen does."
HS: "Well, I have to agree with you on that one."
(Low picks Chozen up and rolls him back into the ring. He spreads Chozen's left arm away from his body and steps onto his hand with one foot, thus keeping the arm in place. Low then hits a kneedrop on the extended arm. Low covers and gets 1..... 2..... and a kick out. Both men are back up and Low whips Chozen into the ropes. Chozen counters Low with a flying clothesline, sending him to the mat. Both men back up and Chozen again charges at Low, but Low counters with a quick Fujiwara armbar, sending Chozen to the mat and pulling back on that hurting arm.)
FJ: "Chozen should just tap out now, he can't reach the ropes."
(And indeed, Chozen is nowhere near the ropes. Low pulls back even more and Chozen lifts his arm, seemingly preparing to tap out. However, the fans are screaming for him not to do so and start yelling his name again. Low pulls back more and more, really trying to leave Chozen no alternative but to tap, but suddenly Chozen uses the fact that Low is pulling back so much to his advantage. Low's losing balance and Chozen is able to roll him over! He almost small packages him and covers for the 1..... 2..... and a CLOSE kickout! The fans explode while Low looks stunned. Chozen holds his left arm. Both men are back up and Chozen is able to hit a DDT on Low. Cover gets 1..... 2..... and Low grabs the bottom rope to break the count. Low gets up and nails Chozen with a fist to his midsection. He then comes off the ropes, but Chozen counters with a perfectly-timed superkick. Another cover gets 1..... 2..... and a kickout.)
HS: "Chozen has successfully fought the Fujiwara armbar and now he is dazzling Low with some high impact manoeuvres."
(Low is slowly getting to his feet again, but Chozen is already waiting behind him. Just as Low regains his footing, Chozen starts running and hits a faceslam on Low. Chozen then launches himself off the second rope and nails a beautiful lionsault. He covers and gets 1..... 2..... and a close kickout yet again. He Irish whips Low into the ropes and connects with a quick hurricanrana. He then pulls Low up and sets him up for a cradle piledriver. However, Low shifts his weight and gets his feet back to the ground. He then reaches around Chozen's left shoulder and locks his head as well, then legsweeps him to the ground, applying a shoulderlock. Chozen, though, is able to roll over yet again and covers Low for the 1..... 2..... and again a kickout. Chozen tries to pull Low up, but Low somehow grabs Chozen's leg, takes him down and applies an ankle lock. Quickly, though, he jumps to Chozen's side and applies the Fujiwara armbar again.)
FJ: "He's gone back to the Fujiwara!"
HS: "Both men are showing their most typical and best sides, as we've seen one counter after another. But Chozen is back in the Fujiwara armbar."
(This time, though, Chozen is able to reach the ropes and grab the bottom rope, forcing Low to break the hold. Chozen is now holding the middle rope to help him getting back up, but Low has quickly climbed to the second turnbuckle and nails Chozen's extended arm and shoulder with a flying knee. Chozen is holding his shoulder while Low is standing several feet behind him, obviously waiting for Chozen to get up.)
HS: "It looks like Low is going for the Low Stunner!"
FJ: "This will spell the end for King Chozen!"
(Chozen finally gets up to his feet and Low immediately kicks Chozen's midsection, but Chozen is able to hold on to Low's leg, drops him to the mat and applies the Walls Of Jusino! The fans, rarely seeing this hold, are exploding with "Chozen! Chozen!" chants.)
HS: "Now it is Low's turn to tap out!"
FJ: "No, no, Low, hang in there!"
(Chozen is pulling back on Low's legs and Low appears to be in tremendous pain. He also lifts his hand as if to tap out, but refrains from doing so. Chozen has him in an elevated position so that it is the high angle version and not the traditional version of the Boston crab.)
HS: "Look at the unnatural position of Low's body as he's almost upside down!"
(Suddenly, though, Low grabs one of Chozen's feet and is actually able to pull it out from under him, causing Chozen to lose his balance and drop down to the mat. Even though he is clearly in pain, Low is able to get up, hook Chozen's legs and apply the Low Profile! Now Chozen is obviously in pain as Low has clamped on his most famous finishing hold in an almost perfect position.)
FJ: "Chozen has tapped out in this hold before, as has practically everybody that Low has ever faced."
HS: "But Low has neither worked over Chozen's back nor his legs, so I wonder if now is the time for Chozen to give up."
(All of a sudden Chozen is able to power his upper body up. He lets out what can be described as a primal scream and uses all his remaining strength to push Low off and sending him right through the ropes to the outside.)
FJ: "I can't believe he had the strength!"
(As Low slowly gets back to his feet Chozen suddenly starts running and flips himself over the top rope, nearly hitting a swanton bomb on the unsuspecting Low. The fans in Madison Square Garden erupt in a "Holy Shit!" chant.)
HS: "Chozen with a reckless flip to the outside! Neither man is moving."
(Chozen is the first man up, but he is met by a Low elbow to his stomach and then is pushed neck first into the steel steps again. Low asks the referee to ask the timekeeper for the time of the match and then quickly grabs a chair. He lifts the chair up and is about to hit Chozen right onto the shoulder, but the referee reacts quickly, reaches over the top rope and pulls the chair out of Low's hands. The referee then throws the chair out of the ring on other side. Low has climbed onto the apron and is yelling at the referee. But Chozen is already there. He sneaks below Low's legs, grabs him carries him a few steps forward and then hits a power bomb right through Herb and Frank's announce table! Another "Holy Shit!" chant breaks out.)
FJ: "Ouch, ahhhh, my leg, my leg!"
HS: "Come on Frank, you jumped out of the way fast enough, just like I did. But our table is gone and Low's attempt at cheating has certainly backfired."
FJ: "Indeed, and instead King Chozen is the one cheating by sending Low through our table."
(Chozen gets up and soaks up the crowd's cheers, while Low is buried under a pile of wood, monitors and cables. Frank and Herb were able to get out of the way and not suffer any harm. Chozen pulls the seemingly unconscious Low up and drags him towards the ring, then rolls him back in. Chozen himself gets up on the apron, then catapults himself onto the rope and hits a picture perfect springboard shooting star press on Low! He covers and gets 1..... 2..... 3!)
FJ: "Noooo!"
HS: "No, Low's foot was on the bottom rope! The match is NOT over yet!"
(The crowd lets out a disappointed groan and some fans are letting the referee know what they think of this decision with an "Asshole" chant. Chozen seems to be disappointed as well, but doesn't waste any time. He walks over to the opposing corner and signals for the Chozen Spear! The fans go nuts, but suddenly the cheers turn to boos as Ramona A. Stone makes her way back to the ring, a chair in hand. She jumps onto the apron and slaps the back of Chozen's head. He immediately grabs her by the hair, but Low comes from behind with a knee to Chozen's kidneys. He then holds Chozen for Ramona. Ramona takes the chair and tries to ram its edge right into Chozen's face, but she takes too long, trash talking Chozen first, giving Chozen the chance to duck. Ramona hits Low instead, who sinks to the mat like he's been shot. Chozen pushes Ramona off the apron and then hits rolling thunder on Low. He covers and gets 1..... 2..... and a CLOSE kickout, so close in fact the fans are chanting the referee's "name" once again.)
HS: "Business has definitely picked up. However, Ramona has NO business being here at all after she's been banned from ringside earlier on for some blatant interference."
FJ: "Chozen has put his hands on her, so she deserves her revenge."
(Chozen signals for the Chozen Spear once again, but this time Ramona is holding on to his foot. Chozen pulls her up onto the ring apron by her hair and then flips her into the ring. He whips her into the ropes and as she bounces off he hits her with the Chozen Spear again! The crowd explodes.)
FJ: "This is suicide on behalf of King Chozen."
HS: "Plus, hitting the Chozen Spear might have hurt his shoulder a little more as he is now holding it."
(Low is running at Chozen, but Chozen sidesteps him and sends him into the corner. Chozen then charges at Low and hits the Chozen Spear! He covers and gets 1..... 2..... NO! Another kickout! Now Chozen walks over and picks up the chair Ramona brought into the ring. He unfolds it and puts it a few feet away from the ropes. He then positions Low mid-ring, starts running, jumps onto the chair, then the top rope and hits a beautiful triple jump Moonsault. He covers and gets 1..... 2..... and another very close kickout. The fans keep cheering Chozen on as he drags Low nearer to the corner. Chozen then steps through the ropes and climbs to the top rope.)
HS: "What is going to show us now? He has a wide variety of crazy moves off the top rope!"
FJ: "And this is the craziest of them all!!!"
(Chozen jumps high into the air and does two and a half rotations, going for the 900! Low, however, is able to roll out of the way at the last split-second, sending Chozen crashing to mat. The fans gasp at this risky manoeuvre which didn't pay off. In fact, they turn almost quiet in concern of their hometown hero.)
FJ: "King Chozen might very well be dead!"
HS: "What a gutsy manoeuvre and what a terrible landing! Let's take a look at this once more."
(We go to a split screen and see the 900 once more in slow motion. We clearly see how Chozen crashes onto his face and shoulder upon impact. We return to the full screen and Low is already on the top rope, waiting for Chozen to get up, which he does very slowly. Just as Chozen is on his feet again Low comes off the top rope with what looks like a bulldog... on Chozen's left arm. Chozen is holding his shoulder, screaming in pain, but Low doesn't waste any more time and immediately hooks Chozen's left arm. He reaches around Chozen's head and locks his hands, then forces Chozen onto his stomach. Low sits down on Chozen's back and pulls him back, applying the Low Standard perfectly and in the middle of the ring.)
FJ: "This may very well do it! Chozen's shoulder is in bad shape and there's no way he's getting anywhere near the ropes."
HS: "I wouldn't be so sure about that."
(Just as Frank finished his sentence Chozen is able to get up his knees and starts crawling towards the ropes, Low on his back, still applying the Low Standard. He comes nearer and nearer and is close to reaching the ropes, but Low is able to pull him back a few steps and sit down again. King Chozen has no choice but to tap!)
HS: "It's over!"
FJ: "He did it! He did as he said he would! Low wins the return of the superstars!"
(Low releases the hold just after the bell rings as the arena lights all go on again and the uneasy noises of "Metal Machine Music, Part IV" start playing again. An exhausted Low slides out of the ring and picks up the battered Ramona A. Stone, uncharacteristically not even celebrating his victory. The fans applaud King Chozen as Low and Ramona quickly make their way to the back.)
HS: "These two delivered one more time. Low takes the victory, but the true winners are the fans who witnessed two veterans at their best."
FJ: "And speaking deliveries, I hope someone delivers us a new table for our next match."
(The camera switches backstage. Mark Keller can be seen in the background, looking on as about four attractive women walk through the door. He runs his fingers through his hair, then runs his thumbs along his top lip. Mark is seen here, get this, wearing high watered Khaki's, with a black shirt. He begins to smile, with the "I'm going to get laid tonight!" look oh his face, as he says…)
Mark Keller: Alright, Big K... Alright. It's time, Mark Keller. You're the man. You can do it. I mean, who's better looking that you. Look at your hair... The girls have to love it. You spent so long at that beauty salon, I mean-
(With the girls, The reigning AWA United States Champion, "The Superstar" Colin Baird steps through the door, wearing a blue jean shirt without sleeves, and blue jeans, with a cowboy hat on. He has a large bag which sways back and forth at his knees, and is supported by the strap on his shoulder. The girls are jumping all around him, smiling, and laughing, as Colin, cool, calm, and collective as usual, simply smiles, and cracks a few jokes. Mark Keller, meanwhile, looks like he's just lost a puppy. He's holding his head, down, mumbling to himself, until his eyes light up, as he says to himself…)
Mark Keller: WAIT A SECOND! Am I crazy?! I could finally get the interview that will take my career into orbit!
(Mark Keller walks straight for The Showstoppa, who's standing in front of the now closed door, with about twelve women standing before him. Mark Keller, tries to push through, until one of the girls turns around, and smacks him in the face. Baird points and laughs at him, then gets back to the ladies.)
Colin Baird: Girls, girls, girls. I'm lovin' the welcome you're giving to the AWA U.S Champion. Am I that good, ladies?
Mark Keller: [Behind the group of women] Colin, I-
Colin Baird: What, Keller, what?!
Mark Keller: Well, I would like to get a few quick words.
Colin Baird: Fine.
(At that, a young man, to Baird's left, behind Keller, walks swiftly by. He's wearing an Jack Happy t-shirt. The sight of the shirt infuriates Baird. He pushes Kelly in his shoulder, points to the kid, and says…)
Colin Baird: Get that kid!
(Before he can get too far, Keller stops him, and brings him back to Baird. He does it without hesitation or attitude, which is a sign of either fear or respect for Colin. The kid looks up at Baird, and frowns at him. He's only about fourteen years old. Baird folds his arms across his chest, with the girls still behind him and says…)
Colin Baird: What's your name, kid?
Kid: My name is Alan, sir.
Colin Baird: Well, Allen, why the hell are you wearing that shirt?
Kid: I think Jack Happy is cool, sir. I love watching him wrestle. He's one of the best!
Colin Baird: [ Baird makes a noise like a game show buzzer when you're wrong. ] WRONG! You see kid, Jack Happy, well, sucks. Yeah, that's the truth. [ The kid frowns at this. ] Don't think so? Listen kid, do you know who I am? [ The kid nods. ] REALLY?! That's makes all this all the more... Surprising. Look, if you know who I am, and you know who Jack Happy is, how in the hell can you possibly think he's the best? No wait, you said he's one of the best. Well, if you consider EVERY wrestler in AWA among the best, then yeah, Happy is easily one of the best... And so are Spike Spiegal. but if you narrow is done to, oh, let's say a top ten... My little friend, Jack is no where to be found. Kid, I should show you how truly pathetic your hero really is, by kicking his ass in just a few minutes. I was already planning to do that, but hey, I do for the kids when I can. [ Baird laughs. ] Let me tell you something, when we meet tonight in that ring, he will fall to the Shooting Star. You don't think so? Hopefully he doesn't either. Please, tell your sorry hero to underestimate it. It'll hurt that much more when I land it on 'em.
Kid: I- I think- I-
Colin Baird: [ Mocking the kid. ] I-, I-, SHUT UP! Get the hell outta here!
Baird palms his head, and pushes him to the right, where he was headed earlier. As he's stumbling, Baird kicks him the in ass, sending him stumbling further, into the crowd. Baird laughs, and the groupies pause for a second, but when they see Baird laughing, they do the same.
Colin Baird: You know what Keller. Forget you're questions because the outcome will remain the same. Yes, The Showstoppa thinks he can beat Jack Happy. Yes, The Showstoppa is gonna walk out of Wrestlefest with the AWA United States and Intercontinental titles. Yes, New York is a hell-hole. And yes, this interview is over.... See you soon Jack...
(The shot cuts back to Herb and Frank as eerie music hits and the lights change to a blue tint and move in a way to make it seem that the whole arena is under water along with the underwater lighting comes lights that show aces of spades all through out the arena and on the AWAtron, "Maxwell Murder" by Rancid hits and the crowd erupts in cheers as water shoots from the stage at the same time that sparks fly out from the corners of the AWAtron. Fish and Blackjack come running out of the back each slapping the pre-outstretched hands of the fans on either side of the ramp way, they do this going all the way around the ring then meet by the announce tables and give each other a big jumping high five and yelling "BAM!" Blackjack slides into the ring and Fish slingshots himself over the top rope. The two men take a spot in the far corner as the music slowly fades out.)
HS: This is bound to be a hell of a match, I cant wait.
FJ: OH wow, I don’t care, I hate all of the men in this match
(Lights in the arena go dim at the same time a woman's voice is heard over the P.A. system...
''How do you define a Peek?''
[Pause]
''You don't define him... he defines YOU''
Suddenly, ''Elite'' by Deftones starts blasting over the sound system as the AWA Tron comes to life showing video clips of both Peeks, as a tag team; the image changes coordinate with the beats of the song. The crowd jumps into cheers and chants as dark red, purple and white strobe lights start dancing around from the ceiling of the building. After 1/4 of the song, dark red and purple pyro explode upward from the top of the ramp and out come The Peeks, Andy with his half of the Tag Team Titles over his right shoulder and Bryan holding his own half with his right hand. Both Peeks taunt the crowd from the top of the ramp before rushing down the ramp and sliding in the ring under the bottom rope. Each one takes a turnbuckle, opposite from the other one, climb to the middle turnbuckle and each Peek raises his half of the Tag Team Titles; thousands of flashlights go off as they do so and rush to a different turnbuckle to repeat the same process. As they strike the second pose, the lights start coming back to life as ''Elite'' by Deftones starts fading off.)
HS: The Peeks look ready to defend their tag team titles here, lets get the action underway.
(The four men come to the centre of the ring and shake hands. They all then back off to their respective corners and the bell rings.)
HS: Black Jack will be starting things off for the Aces here and Andy will take the initial stance for the Peeks.
FJ: Oh you mean it is still going on?
HS: It has not even started, what the hell is your problem.
FJ: You, This match, the idiots in the ring. Need I go on?
(The two men come together in the ring and lock up. Andy quickly takes BJ down into a side Headlock position, but this is quickly reversed as BJ slips out and locks Andy into a Hammer lock. Andy slaps his shoulder a couple of times and then ducks and reverses into a hammer lock of his own. But again the move can only be held for a matter of seconds before BJ can slip out. This time BJ twists Andy's Right arm and runs towards the corner. BJ runs up the turnbuckles and when he reaches the top he springs off turns and drops Andy with a Drop Kick. The Crowd erupts with this as BJ moves in to continue his attack.)
HS: What a move, tremendous agility shown there from Black Jack.
FJ: Says You! I could do that move in my sleep.
HS: Ha... Ha...Ha... Nice to see your still full of it.
FJ: Watch it Summers or I will do it to you.
HS: That would be the day.
(In the ring BJ makes his way over to Andy who is climbing to his feet, BJ jumps and Nails Andy with a standing Drop Kick which sends him back down. BJ then grabs Andy and pulls him into the Aces corner where he tags in the Fish. As soon as the tag is made Fish enters and BJ exits.)
FJ: What the hell was that, they do know they have a five count right, how lame.
HS: It is called respect Frank, Real teams don’t need to attack opponents two on one to get the job done.
FJ: Whatever, They're sissy’s if you ask me.
HS: And that is why no one asks you.
(Fish kicks Andy in the gut and then hits the far ropes and delivers a hard bull dog taking Andy down. He quickly flips him and goes for a cover. The ref is quickly into position and he starts the count. 1.....2..... Kick Out by Andy.)
HS: Oh a Near fall there, Andy Peek Just got the shoulder up.
FJ: Why could he not have just stayed down.
(Fish is not fazed by the near fall and is quickly back on the offensive. He pulls Andy back to his feet and backs him into the corner. Fish then backs into the opposite corner and runs across and jumps to the second rope grabbing Andy in a head lock position and begins to fall backwards and twist. But as they are falling Andy manages to grab one of Fish's legs and pull it just enough that the Fish can not brace for impact. The Tornado DDT Connects but Fish lands hard on his back with all of Andy’s weight coming down on top of him. Andy rolls away and both men are down. The ref looks at the two nearly unconscious superstars and begins a ten count, 1......2......3)
HS: Both men are in a bad way here, but Andy really needs to tag, he has been in the ring for a while now.
FJ: Or maybe both men can get counted down and the match can be over.
HS: Somehow I don’t see that happening.
(Both men begin to stir and Andy is first to move. He begins to drag himself over to his corner looking for the outstretched hand of his brother. The fish has also begun to move as the referee's count has reached six. Upon the count of Eight Andy makes a tag to Bryan who comes flying into the ring and grabs Fish by the right foot stopping him from making the tag. But almost out of nowhere Fish brings his other foot off the ground and comes around delivering a stepover heal kick which causes Bryan to lose his grip and stumble back a couple of step and Fish then falls back and slaps the hand of his rested Partner. BJ springs over the top rope lunging at Bryan but is caught in mid air and dropped with a hard spine buster. Bryan Quickly hooks a leg and cover. 1.... Kick Out by BJ.)
HS: A devastating Spine Buster there, but I think Black Jack is still just a little to fresh to go down for the count.
(Bryan is quickly back on the offensive as he pulls BJ back to his feet and whips him to the ropes and when he returns he drops him with a hard clothesline. Bryan quickly follows up with a leg drop and then goes for a cover, 1.....2..... Kick Out by BJ.)
HS: Another near fall.
FJ: Not near enough for my liking.
HS: Are you still here, why don’t you go and take a long walk off a short pier.
FJ: I don’t like your attitude Summers, something has changed about you since we separated.
(Bryan again not fazed by the near fall pulls BJ back to his feet and backs him into the corner. Bryan takes a couple of steps back and then comes in shoulder first at BJ. But just before he can connect BJ uses the ropes to spring up and rolls down the back of Peek into a sunset flip. The ref is right there and counts 1.....2.... Kick Out by Peek.)
HS: Very quick thinking there from Black Jack and it nearly got him the win.
(After the near fall both men rolls away and come back to their feet. BJ still seems a bit groggy as he shakes some of the cobwebs out. Peek pulls the top rope a couple of times and the two come together mid ring. Thy go to lock up but the quicker BJ ducks under and goes behind Peek and locks him into a waist lock. BJ then pushes Peek forward into the corner causing Peeks chest to hit the turnbuckle. BJ Quickly tags Fish Fish performs a climb up Calf Kick and BJ does a climb up Enziguri. Peek drops to the ground and Fish quickly covers 1....2.... Save by Andy.)
HS: Andy may have just saved the tag team titles, what a move by Fish and Black Jack there.
(Black Jack looks at Andy and then leaves the ring and Andy then likewise does the same. Fish pulls Bryan back to his feet and whips him, but makes the mistake of whipping him to his own corner. Andy take advantage and tags Bryan as he falls to the mat. Andy climbs in and he and Fish lock up. Fish goes behind but is quickly reversed by Andy with a go behind of his own. Andy then pushes Fish towards the corner in an attempt to run his chest into the corner, but Fish manages to escape and run up the turnbuckles and flip over the head of landing on his feet. Fish then shoves Andy into the corner chest first Fish delivers a falling reverse DDT and then heads to the top rope. On his way up he tags BJ and then he performs The Flyin' Fish. Black Jack is quick to follow up with a spring board 450 and as he hits with tremendous authority he hooks a leg. The ref slides into position and counts 1.....2.....3!!!!!!! The refs hand comes down just before the still groggy Bryan can make it over to disrupt the count.)
HS: Three count, This one is over, but what a match. The Peeks gave it there all here, but in the end they come up just short and we have new tag team Champions.
FJ: Its about time this damn thing ended.
(The ref grabs the belts from the official outside and presents them to The Aquatic Aces as "Swing Life Away" strikes up. Suddenly, the music dies down as the AWA Tron comes to life, showing the shocking sight of a beautiful young woman tied up to a steel chair, with duck tape over her mouth.)
HS: What the… it’s Audrey Peek! What’s going on?
(The room where she’s in is completely dark, except for a light bulb right over Audrey, lighting only her immediate surroundings. She starts struggling to get free but it is completely useless.)
FJ: Neither Bryan nor Andy can believe what they are seeing! I second your expression, Herb, what in God’s green earth is going on h…
(Frank is interrupted by a loud, unrecognisable laughter that’s heard all over the arena coming from the P.A. System. The crowd starts booing loudly at the sight at the same time both Bryan and Andy scream something at Fish and BlackJack.)
FJ: Why do they yell at the Aquatic Aces? What do they have to do with anything?
HS: I don’t think they are blaming Fish and BlackJack, Frank.
(Just as all four men inside the ring are about to leave the ring and rush towards the back, a strange voice is heard over the speaker system that makes them stop on their track and look all around the building.)
Voice: Don’t dare move if you don’t want sweet Audrey to suffer the consequences of your stupidity! Long have I followed your every step, your every move, your every accomplishment. My dream of destroying the oh-so-claimed ‘Most Dominant Tag Team in the face of the AWA’ is about to come to an end…
(An incredibly loud boo fills the entire arena before the word ‘Asshole’ is heard all over the place as the assisting New Yorkean crowd starts chanting it in unison.)
HS: Destroy the Peeks? Who would want to destroy the Peeks?
FJ: I don’t know, Herb, but I feel this is about to turn ugly. Look at the look on Bryan’s face!
HS: Not to mention his brother’s and even Fish’s and Blackjack’s… ladies and gentlemen, we apologize but we didn’t—
(The crowd noise lowers in an instant as the man who was talking over the P.A. system starts walking out of the shadows and into the light as the fainted screams of Audrey as heard louder as the seconds pass by.)
HS: OH MY GOD! IT’S A BLACK RAINCOAT!!
FJ: IT’S THE RAINCOAT MAN! Listen to this crowd booing and jeering in disapproval, Herb! This is insane! It wasn’t Bryan Peek all along! Bryan Peek is completely innocent!
HS: Come to think you were the first one to frame him for the attacks… what could be running through his mind in this exact same moment? Bryan Peek is completely irate!
(The Raincoat Man slowly steps out of the shadows, revealing that his entire body, right next to Audrey’s, is completely covered by the black raincoat. The man is constantly looking towards the ground for the black rain hat he has on is covering his face. He slowly raises his hand towards his mouth…)
HS: What is that he has in his hands? It looks like…
FJ: …a voice box!? Whoever he is, he still doesn’t want to show the world who he is!
Raincoat Man: Many have tried to overcome both Peeks without success; many have been able to merely injure them for a few weeks… though not being able of putting them on the shelf for good while I, alone, was able to destroy their trust in each other. I, alone, overcame that mental shield both Peeks had from the beginning of their careers… the key to their success. Next week I finish what I started two months ago…
(The crowd stands on its feet, completely in awe as they look towards the AWA Tron. Tears begin to run down Audrey’s cheeks as she starts tossing around the chair in fear. The Raincoat Man grabs her chin with his right hand, forcing her to look into the camera as it zooms in on her terrified face.)
HS: This is going way too far! Someone has to stop this!!
FJ: I have never seen Andy Peek cry before… and today is my first time. He seems to be feeling his cousin’s pain!
(Bryan starts to shout towards the AWA Tron at the same time he throws threats and shouts towards the Raincoat Man, but Fish jumps forward and stops him from leaving the ring. The camera is still zoomed on Audrey’s terrified face as she looks into the lens of the camera with pleading eyes.)
Raincoat Man: Perhaps the biggest mystery in the AWA for the last 2 years has been precisely this one. A mystery that surpassed and framed one of the AWA’s most beloved superstars of all… that mystery unfolds tonight… right now!
(The crowd gives no reaction but instead, most of the assistants turn their heads to look towards Bryan Peek who is still being held inside the ring, this time by both Fish and Blackjack.)
HS: Fans, this is a despicable sight. Seeing Audrey Peek in that situation is just sick.
(The camera starts zooming out slowly as it shows the black raincoat and the Raincoat Man’s hands before showing his entire face.)
FJ: Is this some kind of sick joke?
HS: He has a mask!! Who is that man?
Raincoat Man: This is the man behind all the bizarre and surprising attacks all around backstage… I am Kemsyt!
(Kemsyt begins laughing harder as all 40.000+ fans begin to boo and Bryan Peek goes absolutely crazy inside the ring. Now, not just Bryan, but Andy as well threats to leave the ring and go backstage to look for their cousin.)
FJ: Wha…? I thought he would show us who he really was!
HS: Something greater calls my attention, Frank… why does this Kemsyt uses the voice box??
Kemsyt: Do not waste your time looking around the arena, Bryan… I am miles away from it… and so is your cute little cousin/girlfriend.
(Finally, Bryan snatches a microphone from a ring aid and cuts Kemsyt off in mid-sentence. His face is filled with boiling blood and his veins on his neck seem to be about to pop…)
Bryan: ‘’WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? WHAT DO YOU WANT!!
Kemsyt: Now, now, Bryan, all in its due time. I am not an impatient man. I waited over two long months for this night. I patiently studied your every movement, your every action…
Bryan: WHAT DO YOU WANT, DAMN IT! WHAT?!?
Kemsyt: Next week, Bryan—
HS: I’m not liking this, Frank.
Kemsyt: --I, as well as everyone else, will see just how great the Peeks are. Next week on Xplosion, that is, IF you want to see your little cousin again… a two-on-one Handicap Match, Bryan. You and your little brother meet me inside that very ring in a little over 120 hours. If you win, you get Audrey back in one piece…
(Another maniacal laughter is heard loudly over the P.A. system before the crowd starts chanting ‘Kick his ass! Kick his ass!’ in unison as they look at Bryan and Andy. Fish and Blackjack are now just standing behind them without knowing what to do now.)
Bryan: Son of a—
Kemsyt: It is very harsh to interrupt a person while speaking, Bryan… (Laughter) what happens if I win? You will still get Audrey back… only difference is that she might come with an added bonus of mental disorder. (Soft laugher) The reason why, well, use your imagination.
(As he finishes saying this, he grabs Audrey’s chin with his right hand once again as he slips his tongue all over her face while her soft screams, due to the duck tape covering her mouth, are heard loudly over the P.A. system. Another laughter later the AWA Tron dies down, leaving a great amount of concern on Bryan and Andy Peek)
HS: "Oh my god. We have just witnessed some shocking scenes here, Frank"
(The shot cuts away from a shocked Herb and Frank to where Low and Ramona are seen in the catering area. They are not aware they are being filmed. Both seem to be exhausted, and we can clearly see them arguing.)
LOW: "What's up with you, huh? What was that out there?"
RAMONA (talking somewhat slowly): "I was just trying to help you."
LOW: "I didn't want you to interfere all the time. The ref sent you to the back, you should've stayed there! And what about that chair shot? That was terrible. Did you have to hesitate that long?"
RAMONA: "Come on, I was just having some fun. Lighten up, man. Where's the Low of old? Where's The Legendary Low?"
LOW: "I can only be The Legendary Low if I don't have to worry about other things, including the things you are supposed to take care of."
RAMONA: "Bla, bla, bla..."
LOW (yelling): "Listen, I've got you of this before, I am not willing to..."
(Suddenly Low realizes they are being filmed and shoots a nasty look towards the camera.)
LOW: "Come on, not here."
(Low puts his arm around Ramona and walks her away as we cut back to the arena.)
HS: "Ladies and Gentleman what a night it's been. We‘ve seen Nathan Hawthorne-Lee earn a shot at the new AWA No Limit Title in his very first match in the AWA"
FJ: "…and the man he will be facing will be Andreas Lasiewicz, as he managed to get past Adryn Mc Leon, John Heights and Draven Shadows in becoming the first-ever AWA No Limit Champion. We have also seen Low defeat King Chozen in the "return of the legends" match…"
HS: "…and not only have we also crowned a new AWA Cruiserweight Champion, but we have also discovered who the Raincoat Man is in the shocking scenes that we witnessed only moments ago…"
FJ: "and it's not over yet. Now it is time for our United States Title match featuring the United States Champion Colin Baird Vs the Intercontinental Champion Mr. Jack. B. Happy."
(We hear the sound of Godzilla crying out before "Vasoline" by STP begins to blare through the PA system. Yellow pyro’s go off and evil yellow smiley faces light up down the entrance ramp. Jack comes out on the skateboard and skates all the way down to the ring apron before hopping off and flipping the skateboard up to his left hand (Suavio and Laura part the curtains and go down the entrance ramp as he's skating down). Going around to the ring announcers, he hands them the skateboard, bagpipes, shark tooth necklace, and Russian hat before sliding into the ring. Jack also hands the Intercontinental Title over to an AWA referee for one final time. After acknowledging the crowd, Jack turns goes over to a ring corner and slumps against it, smiling broadly.)
HS: "Jack looks ready to night."
FJ: "But wait until the US Champ walks out. Then, you'll see what a real champion looks like."
( Those quite familiar guitar riffs by Joe Perry of Aerosmith accompanied by Nelly's lyrical flow are heard throughout the arena. The crowd stops in their tracks and to the rafters, while "#1" plays throughout the arena. The Superstar, stepping from behind the curtain and saluting the crowd, down on one knee with his hands in the air. He's wearing his trademark ring attire and the AWA United States title around his waist. The crowd begins to heavily boo Colin for saluting the crowd. Colin makes his way in usual fashion, dancing and playing to the crowd with a smile on his face, loving every minute of it. And he receives even more heat for this. Colin dances down the ring, until making it to the ring. The referee now greets Colin Baird at the ring apron. Colin Baird removes the belt from around his waste and hands it to the referee. He hops up on the apron, and swings his hips while grasping the ropes. He then steps through the ropes, and begins to twirl in circles in the ring, as the lights dim, with 'Superstar' spotlights on the ring. After spinning with his arms out, and finds his place in the center of the ring, and poses for the crowd. Golden pyro shoots in a big X's to the rafters behind him, and the fans are still loving every minute of it! Shortly after this, the lights are restored ...)
HS: "A flash entrance, but that's it from this kid."
FJ: "I'm beginning to like this kid more and more as of late."
(The referee shows the belt to the crowd, and then hands the belt to the AWA ring announcer. Colin Baird and Jack Happy walk to the center of the ring.)
HS: "This will be one for the ages."
(The referee signals for the bell to ring as Colin Baird slaps Jack Happy in the face, in a total sign of disrespect. Baird begins giving Jack Happy a few derogatory comments.)
FJ: "Look Colin just slapped Happy in the face!"
HS: "The rookie showing no respect to the Hall of Famer."
(Jack Happy hits Baird with a knife edge chop sending Baird straight to the ground in shock. Baird is quickly up on his feet and Jack Happy hits another hard knife edge chop on him. Baird again quickly up on his feet, but as quickly as he gets back up, Jack Happy hits another hard knife edge chop sending him down. Baird sits on the ground in disbelief, but Jack Happy walks over and picks Baird up. Baird attempts a punch, but Happy ducks under it and begins hitting Road Dog like punches on Baird. But before attempting another, Jack Happy stomps on the toes of Colin Baird and applies a headlock. And we see the usual Dutch rub to the head as only Jack Happy can do.)
FJ: "Jack Happy actually using a wrestling hold? This has to be the first time in AWA history."
HS: "Jack has used a couple of wrestling holds in his time."
FS: "But Colin didn't see those matches. He's at an unfair advantage."
(We hear Herb sigh as Colin rolls out of the ring to buy himself some time. One... Jack, being the veteran that he is, doesn't fall for Colin Baird's bait. Two... Colin Baird takes a walk around the ring. Three... Colin now looks at Happy in the ring. Four... Colin stands back up on the apron. Five... Colin steps through the middle ropes, looking directly at Happy. Happy begins walking towards Baird, but Baird charges him and runs straight into a Powerslam. Happy gets up as quickly as he can, bolts towards the ropes behind him and comes off with a running leg drop. He goes for a cover. One... Two... and Baird kicks out.)
HS: "Jack trying to come away with a quick one."
FJ: "Please, he can't be the Showstoppa that easily."
(Happy pulls Colin Baird back up. Baird punches Jack Happy in the face, stunning him. Baird now quickly punches Happy in the stomach and applies a side headlock to Happy. Happy picks Baird up and connects with an atomic drop. Baird gets back on his feet and Happy charges in connecting with a clothesline. Baird rolls towards the ropes on the opposite side of the ring from Happy. Happy walks over attempt to pick Colin Baird up, but Colin lays down throwing Jack Happy through the middle rope.)
FJ: "Look at that great manoeuvre by Baird!"
HS: "What? Being beaten up the whole match?"
FJ: "He's the Champ for a reason. He has to take beatings and give them as well."
( One... Baird takes a deep breath. Two... Baird rolls out of the ring as Happy sits up. Three... Baird kicks Happy in the back of the head. Four... Baird now pulls Happy up by the chin. Five... Baird punches Happy in the face, and Happy falls back into the railing. Six... Baird now throws Happy into the steel stairs, opposite the announcers table side of the ring. Seven... Baird rolls in to break the count, and he rolls right back out. One... Baird now picks Jack Happy up. Two... Baird rolls Jack Happy in the ring. Three... Baird now gets up on the apron and steps through the ropes. Happy, in the meantime, has rolled to the center of the ring, and begins getting up. Baird quickly follows towards the center of the ring. Happy finally on his feet, is met by a European uppercut by Baird. Baird grabs Happy's mask and pulls Happy's head in a Dragon Sleeper type position before dropping Happy to the mat with a Falling reverse DDT.)
FJ: "Baird is in control."
HS: "You finally get something right about the match, good job."
FJ: "Yeah Herb, it's called being observant. You should try it some time."
(Baird pulls Happy up to his knees. Happy head butts Baird in the face from his knees. Now Happy takes this advantage to execute a perfect fireman's carry. Baird and Happy both get to their feet slowly, Happy still shaking off the cobwebs of what happened a few minutes ago. Happy and Baird beginning trading punches in the middle of the ring. Baird looks to have Happy reeling, and Baird sends a Haymaker towards Jack Happy who ducks and connects with a Clown Kick. Jack goes for the cover. One... Two... Thr. Colin barely kicks out.)
FJ: "YESSSS!"
HS: "Baird kicked out again. This kid is showing he belongs in the ring with a man like Jack Happy."
FJ: "Shouldn't it be the other way around? Happy showing he may belong in the same ring as Baird."
(Again we hear Herb sigh as Jack has Colin Baird backed into the corner. Jack Happy attempts to Irish whip Baird to the opposite corner, but Baird reverses. Instead of sending Happy to the opposite corner, Baird brings Happy back into a short-arm clothesline. Baird now begins choking the life out of Happy. The referee makes the count. One... Two... Three... Four... Baird breaks the hold, holding up his hands as if he didn't do anything. Now Baird repeats the process and chokes Happy out again. One... Two... Three... Four... Baird again breaks the hold.)
FJ: "Look at this great manoeuvre by Colin Baird. What a class act."
HS: "Are we even watching the same match?"
FJ: "I'm watching the United States Champion Colin Baird Vs the Intercontinental Champion Mr. Jack Happy. What are you watching?"
(Baird now has Jack Happy up to his feet. He gives Jack a hard knife edge chop, pushing him back in the corner. He now Irish whips Jack Happy to the other side of the ring, and runs in hitting a stinger splash. Jack walks out of the corner dazed, Baird hits the ropes behind him and runs up behind Jack, jumps in the air a little, and lands a bull dog sending Jack down in the middle of the ring. Baird goes for a cover. One... Two... The referee at the last minute notices that Baird isn't pinning Jack Happy, but choking him again. The referee now begins counting again. One... Two... Three... Four... Colin Baird breaks to a chorus of boos.)
HS: "He needs to be disqualified."
FJ: "For what?"
HS: "For choking the life out of Jack Happy."
(Baird pulls Jack Happy up and attempts another Irish whip into the far corner, this time, Jack reverses the Irish whip and sends Colin Baird to the announcer table side of the ring. Happy now charges in looking for a splash of his own, but Colin Baird pulls the referee in the way of the splash. Jack looks down to check on the referee and Colin Baird shoves him out of the ring. Baird now rolls out of the ring to meet Jack Happy. Baird attempts a forearm to the head, but Jack ducks under it, and counters with a couple of bionic elbow smashes.)
HS: "Colin Baird is on Dream Street."
FJ: "Colin, come on... You can pull this out."
(Jack Happy now applies a bear hug on Colin Baird, but the referee is still laying motion less in the ring. After thirty seconds or so, Jack gets an idea and throws Baird on the announcers table. He looks over at Colin Baird laying motionless on the announcers table, and then up to the top rope. Jack walks over and begins walking up the steel steps to the ring. He ducks under and gets in the ring. He climbs to the top rope.)
FJ: "What the HELL IS HE DOING?!"
(Jack Happy jumps off the top rope connecting with a Corkscrew Plancha sending Baird through the announcers table. A Holy Shit chant breaks out as both men and the referee lay motionless.)
FJ: "I'm... I'm... I'm..."
HS: "We, know, you're speechless, Frank. It isn't hard to see that Mr. Jack Happy doesn't want to lose this match, so why not pull out all the stops."
FJ: "But that was the... the... the..."
HS: "It was 'The Killing Joke.'"
(Jack Happy begins to stir after a minute or so. Baird lays motionless. Jack finally makes it to his feet, and he pulls Baird up to his knees. Baird hits a desperation low blow on Jack Happy, sending Jack down to his knees. Baird now punches Happy in the face a couple of times, to knock him on the ground. Baird takes a quick rest before finally getting to his feet. You can still see the pain that his body is in. He grabs a steel chair and slides it in the ring. He begins pulling Jack Happy up, and rolls Jack in the ring. Baird takes another minute to rest before he rolls into the ring. Happy begins to get to his feet under his own power as Baird measures him up for a superkick. Happy now turns around and BAM! Superkick to the face. Baird goes for the cover but the referee is still out. He gets up in disbelief.)
FJ: "Where's the ref?"
HS: "He got knocked out by Jack Happy remember?"
FJ: "But this is costing Colin Baird the match."
HS: "It isn't like Jack meant to Splash the referee. It was meant for Colin Baird, Frank."
(Colin begins waking up the official. While the referee is still stirring, Colin walks over and picks the steel chair he slide into the ring. Jack Happy again begins to get up under is own power. Colin Baird measures Jack Happy again. Jack now gets up, only to get hit by the steel chair.)
HS: "Don't let it end like this."
FJ: "Colin, go for the cover! Go!"
(Colin Baird drops to his knees and slides the steel chair out of the ring. He falls on Jack Happy. The referee counts. One... Two... Thr. 3/4. Jack Happy barely got the shoulder up.)
FJ: "It's not possible."
HS: "Pure instinct ladies and gentleman. Pure instinct."
(Colin Baird now begins to get frustrated with this. The referee is now laying back in the corner continuing to recover from the splash he took at the hands of Jack Happy. Baird pulls Jack Happy up to his feet, and Irish whips him into the corner. This time, Baird walks in and begins a punch combination to the stomach of Jack Happy. He now puts Jack Happy on the top rope. The referee is now up to his feet. He sends forearm to the face of Jack Happy and now Climbs to the second rope. He puts Jack Happy on his shoulders, and steps up to the top rope. He now jumps in the ring swinging Jack Happy into a F-5. Jack Happy, out of instinct again rolls towards the ropes, but doesn't roll out. The referee begins a ten count as Colin Baird is now laying on the ground as well. One...)
FJ: "Colin, that move was amazing. It was, Showstoppa quality."
(Two... Colin Baird begins to crawl towards Jack Happy. Three... Colin stretches his arm and just falls short of Jack Happy. Four... Colin drapes his arm over Jack Happy. The referee gets into a position to see Jack Happy's shoulders. One... Two... Thr.)
HS: "He got his foot on the ROPES!"
FJ: "How? How did we just do that?"
(Baird now looks extremely upset at the official, as he is on his knees in disbelief. He now gets into the officials face, protesting the call, as Jack Happy lays motionless. We see the official become intimidated, as Jack begins to pull himself up by the ropes. Colin, who is still arguing with the official, is unaware of Jack Happy moving. Jack crawls over and rolls up Colin Baird. One... Two... Thr. Colin Baird kicks out.)
HS: "Jack Happy almost stole won there."
FJ: "You're right... He did almost steal it."
HS: "It's a term, Frank. A term."
(Jack Happy now is on his feet, and Colin Baird makes it to his feet as well. The start trading right hands. Jack again ducks under a right hand, only Colin this time runs forward, knocking the official down again. He turns around and Jack Happy kicks him into the stomach. Jack Happy grabs the neck of Colin Baird, begins to twist around in a neck breaker position. He leg swings back like a pendulum, delivering a questionable low blow, and then forward to signal them dropping to the ground. Jack rolls over top of Baird, for the cover. The referee slides out of the ring to make the count. One... Two... Thr.)
FJ: "Now BAIRD HAS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES!"
(Jack Happy looks over at the leg and shakes his head. He begins to pick Colin Baird up, as the official grabs the middle rope and stands on the apron. Jack Happy hits Colin Baird with another knife edge chop, and Baird falls back into the ropes, 'accidentally' elbowing the referee knocking him off the apron, almost into the steel railing. Jack now throws Colin Baird to the ropes, but instead of Colin bouncing off the side of the ropes, he slides under the ropes to avoid whatever Jack Happy had planned. Colin now falls to floor outside, as Jack goes looks back to see if the referee is ok. After determining the referee is ok, he begins to walk towards the other side of the ring, where Colin Baird lays on the ground. The referee now slides in to the ring, holding his back, as Jack Happy reaches the other side of the ring. Happy sticks his head through the middle ropes to grab Baird, but Baird counters by swing a steel chair into the forehead of Jack Happy. The referee now looks over at the downed happy and we see Baird roll into the ring.)
HS: "Don't let him win... Not like this."
(Colin Baird rolls pins Jack Happy, hooking the opposite side leg. The referee slides, with his legs halfway outside the ring, to count. One... Colin Baird now seeing the referee is focused on Jack Happy's shoulders, puts his feet on the middle rope. Two..)
HS: "No ref, not like this. His feet are on the ropes."
(The referees hand hits the mat for a third time, and Colin Baird quickly rolls off of Jack Happy. The referee hands the injured Colin Baird the now unified United States Title.)
FJ: "Colin pulled it out! Congratulations Colin! Herb, do you want to congratulate him."
(Herb just sighs.)
(The camera pans backstage where we see Mark Keller holding a microphone, standing next to the Xplosion World Champion, Dark Warrior.)
Mark: "I'm here with one of the AWA World Champions, Dark Warrior. DW, how would you answer your critics that you aren't the true AWA champion?"
Jeff Christianson: People are saying I'm not a true AWA World Heavyweight Champion? I have fought every challenger that has attempted to block my path. Everyone just says I'm not a true AWA Champion because they aren't holding the AWA Title. In fact, I'm the only AWA World Heavyweight Champion.
Mark: "And what of your opponent tonight, Jayson Price?"
Jeff Christianson: My opponent Jayson Price and I have battled many times before... In fact, I beat him en route to my last World Title reign. How fitting that I end his second reign, and continue as the greatest AWA World Champion alive today.
Mark: "Have you any words for Low, who himself had some choice words for you
and your opponent earlier tonight?"
Jeff Christianson: If you are referring to the comments that Low... I quote: Jeff Christianson and Jayson Price are not the calibre of wrestlers that should compete in THAT match... Low, you think you can make comments about anyone anytime. You want someone to respond to you... and you knew that I couldn't wait to respond. Low, you can talk all you want about being the 1st Ever Grand Slam Champion and the first ever 5 time AWA World Champion, but it doesn't matter. Low, don't live in the past and worry about your future... and any day you want to prove I'm not the man for this title, all you have to do is say so.
Mark: "Well, the World Title Unification Match is up next. Any last words
for Price, or anyone else out there?"
Jeff Christianson: I do have some final words for Jayson Price... I've been waiting all week for a response from you... and you haven't said anything. I guess your response will be in the ring... I'll be there in a few minutes Jayson, don't worry... I'll take that title right off your shoulder.
Mark: "There you have it... from the Champ himself."
(The scene cuts back to the arena after the interview where thousands of AWA faithful New Yorkers are on their feet in a frenzy. We then pan over to the faces of Herb Summers and Frank Jackson.)
HS: "Thanks Mark. Ladies and gentlemen, if you have small children, or if you’ve a weak stomach for blood, then you may want to occupy yourself for the next match."
FJ: "Me, on the other hand, I’ll be all eyes for this Street Fight!"
HS: "That’s right, Frank, an AWA Street Fight featuring AWA’s two most sadistic, most gruesome, most vile men… no, monsters, former Intercontinental Champion, Snake and former multiple time, and current longest reigning World Champion, Brian Williams."
FJ: "I hope, for the sake of Xplosion, Snake puts Williams in his place. After all, Williams did disfigure his face for life!"
HS: "These two men have been at it since Classic, when Brian Williams maliciously, and apparently for no damned good reason but spite, burned Snake alive inside his car."
FJ: "Roll the footage."
(Footage is shown from Classic 2004 where Snake is indeed inside the car when an unknown assailant ignites it. Footage is also shown of the horrendous looks upon the faces of the witnesses.)
HS: "That’s disturbing, isn’t it Frank?"
FJ: "Quite… but Snake would get his revenge by hitting Williams where it counts. At HELL-o-ween, Snake interfered in the Cemetery match between Brian Williams and Jayson Price, and choke slammed him nearly twenty feet into a coffin ten feet in the ground."
(A replay of the events that closed HELL-o-ween are showed as well, with Price throwing the last shovel full of dirt and debris onto the grave.)
HS: "But recently, Williams has returned and has vowed vengeance on Snake once and for all."
FJ: "And Snake has vowed to end Williams’s career, ridding him from the AWA for good."
HS: "One thing’s for sure… only one man will be the victor tonight, if they manage to survive!"
(‘Digging Up Corpses’ by DevilDriver hits the P.A. to jeers from the crowd. A massive wall of fire erupts in a huge explosion and soon out comes Snake flanked by Violent Harmony. The monster walks upright, unnerving to the ring, not glancing through his mask in either direction.)
HS: "Well, one thing’s for sure, the fans won’t be behind either one of these men. I think they’re hoping they take each other out!"
FJ: "But I know they’re looking forward to one helluva bloody match, just like I am!"
(Snake rigidly walks up the ring steps and enters the ring. He then looks down at Violent Harmony, his sister, and, without uttering a sound, points towards the entrance.)
FJ: "What’s Snake doing here?"
HS: "I think he wants his sister to leave."
FJ: "I guess he doesn’t want any distractions."
HS: "It’s probably more so that he doesn’t want Williams do anything sick and twisted to her!"
(Inganno argues with her brother, but his arm does not recede and, eventually, she dejectedly walks back to the back. She walks through the side exit, avoiding any potential contact with Williams.)
HS: "I can’t say I disagree with Snake, here. Think about the run-ins he’s had with women in the past? Ramona Stone, Kelly Gunns, Annette Price… this man has absolutely no remorse and no conscience."
FJ: "My kind of guy. But Snake is just as demented since the incident."
(Once Violent Harmony is backstage, Snake, along with the New York fans, divert their attention to the entrance ramp. Snake stares on, perfectly still, his eyes dark and cold through his mask, waiting for his opponent. Soon, the lights dim down and rhythmic, looming chords of Metallica’s ‘Nothing Else Matters’ fills the arena. A single red light illuminates the entranceway as smoke billows. Soon the massive silhouette of the seven footer emerges from the back.)
HS: "And here he comes, perhaps the most dominating wrestler in AWA history. Certainly the most ominous to his opponents."
FJ: "I’m getting goose bumps, Herb. I just can’t wait till these men tear the living Hell out of one another."
HS: "An expression all too familiar to both of these men. It’s going to be brutal. It’s going to be a fight… it’s going to be an all out, hardcore Street Fight!"
(Williams slowly makes his way down the ramp, his own cold eyes locked with Snake’s. Williams methodically climbs the rings stairs steps over the ropes. He walks to within inches of Snake as they stand toe to toe, the taller Williams looking down at his foe. Snake looks up at Williams with pure hatred in his soulless eyes. The referee quickly explains the rules of the Street Fight match; simply that the only rule is that the winner must be decided by pinfall inside the ring. The referee timidly backs away as Snake and Williams continue their stare down. The referee calls for the bell and backs away to the opposite end of the ring. The fans begin to quiet down as they await the confrontation to begin. Williams and Snake continue to lock eyes.)
HS: "A very tense moment in the arena. Who will strike first? What will happen next?"
FJ: "This sure is boring. I want blood, I want hardcore!"
HS: "Shut up, Frank."
(It is Snake who attacks first, striking with two quick hooks, right and left. Williams responds with a hard right that sends Snake a step back. Snake then charges at Williams and forces him into the turnbuckle, where he follows with a combination of shoulder blocks. Williams staggers out of the turnbuckle where Snake clotheslines him to the mat. Williams climbs quickly to his feet, very swift for his size, to meet Snake face to face before he even turns around.)
HS: "Most people don’t realize the amazing quickness Williams has."
FJ: "Snake is no slouch himself, you know."
(Williams reaches out a massive palm around Snake’s neck, but Californian kicks Williams hard in the knee, forcing him to release the grip. Williams staggers back and Snake unloads with a forearm smash. Williams staggers back again, and Snake follows with another, and another, until Williams is backed against the ropes. With Williams tangled up in the ropes, Snake runs back against the opposite ropes and charges at Williams full speed. THWACK! Williams stands triumphantly over a prone Snake.)
HS: "Whoa, what a Big Boot from Brian Williams!"
FJ: "That just came out of nowhere. Snake has to keep up on the assault if he wants to win this match."
HS: "He’d better do something. Williams is irate!"
(Williams roars loudly and then leaps into the air, connecting both feet on the mat with a loud thud as Snake rolls to safety in the nick of time. The fans let out a sigh of relief.)
HS: "Williams nearly just planted his 353 pound frame right onto Snake’s head!"
FJ: "That reminds me of that old ‘Kids in the Hall’ bit. You know… I SQUISH YOUR HEAD!"
HS: "Why did I agree to let him work with me again?"
FJ: "Because, face it Herb, I sell baby!"
HS: "You know, I was just realized something. I don’t think we mentioned this earlier, but Brian Williams was in the very last match you and I ever called together before tonight."
FJ: "That’s right, he faced Low in a draw for what, like the third time?"
HS: "Yep."
(Snake quickly rolls out of the ring, to the chagrin of the fans, as Williams begins to give a slow paced chase. He laughs loudly at Snake, and then charges at him, slamming him hard against the outside railing.)
FJ: "OOHHH Snake sandwich!"
HS: "Williams is practically toying with Snake here."
(Williams then tosses Snake shoulder first into the ring steps with a loud CLUNK! We can see the pain in Snake’s eyes as Williams lifts him up. He looks right into Snake’s eyes and laughs before slamming his face into the ring steps repeatedly. After about the third one, the camera focuses in on the small blood stain left behind on the steps, which gets larger with each progressive smashing of Snake’s head into them.)
HS: "I think Snake’s been busted open!"
FJ: "Dammit."
HS: "I thought you wanted to see blood?"
FJ: "I do, but I was hoping that Snake, being an ex-Xplosion star, would have drawn first blood."
HS: "You do realize that, since Classic, he’s been a full fledged member of Shock."
FJ: "Once a Thursday Night Warrior, always a Thursday Night Warrior."
(Williams, who seems to be enjoying himself intently, then set Snake up against the steps so that his head is against the ring post. Williams, with almost a guffaw of laughter, backs up and charges at Snake, unloading with a huge boot that connects, SMACK!, to the ring post. Williams grimaces in pain, grabbing at his ankle.)
HS: "Oh, Williams didn’t connect on that one, and I think he’s hurt his ankle!"
FJ: "He might have broken it! Guess he’d better reconsider next time he wants to try that move!"
(Snake lays face down on the mat outside the ring, blooding spilling onto a crease where two mats meet and the blood flows along the crease like a river, pooling up at the edge. The blood exhuming from Snake’s forehead isn’t a lot, but it is constant. The cut is actually probably only an inch and a half long.)
HS: "An unsettling image to say the least."
FJ: "Snake’s blood is going to stain my new shoes!"
(Meanwhile, Williams has diverted his attention back towards Snake and limps over to him. Snake crawls across the mat towards the railing. As Williams draws near, some ring attendants dart from their chairs. Williams reaches down and lifts Snake to his feet. THWACK! Williams staggers back from the wicked chair shot from Snake.)
HS: "Snake just nailed Williams with a chair from one of the ring attendants!"
FJ: "Whoa! That was certainly unexpected!"
(Williams wobbles backward, but doesn’t go down. THWACK! The fans are silent as the chair shot echoes throughout Madison Square Garden. THWACK! THWACK! Williams is dazed and barely able to stand on his feet, but still he doesn’t fall. Finally, Snake, with a look of pure malicious intent in his eyes, and the veins in his arms fully showing, swings as hard as he can.)
HS: "This isn’t going to be pretty!?"
FJ: "Swing away, Snake. Swing away!"
(THWACK! Snake stands over Williams, who is practically unconscious on the mat, holding the mangled chair in his right hand. Suddenly, his eyes glaze over and, resonating with the clang of the chair hitting the ground, Snake, too, is out.)
HS: "Snake just passed out from blood loss and exhaustion!"
FJ: "I can’t believe it!"
HS: "Both men are out cold and it’s only ten minutes into the match!"
FJ: "But there are no count outs, and pin falls must occur in the ring, so this match HAS to go on!"
(As all this has culminated, the fans have been steadily engaged in a thunderous ‘HOLY SHIT’ chant. The camera focuses on the trail of blood trickling off Williams face, coming from the gash on his forehead.)
FJ: "And now Williams is busted open!"
HS: "I think the mangled steel chair cut him across the forehead!"
(Suddenly, Williams’s eyes open up, burning, and the monster slowly climbs to his feet, where he sees Snake down on the mat.)
HS: "Uh oh, this doesn’t look good for Snake."
FJ: "Snake is still out cold!"
(Williams slowly staggers over to Snake, dripping with blood, and struggles to life him up. Eventually he does and heaves the 265 pounder onto his massive shoulders. Williams slumps Snake down on the ring apron like a heavy sack and rolls him in. He then clambers in himself and, still a little shaky, proceeds to lift Snake to his feet.)
FJ: "What is Williams planning on here?"
HS: "Not sure, but I can wager it’ll be nasty!"
(The crowd roars as Williams pulls his arm back, pauses, and then darts it at Snake, locking in a mandible claw.)
HS: "I think he’s going to try and finish this match now!"
FJ: "And Snake is powerless to stop him!"
(As Williams begins to lock the move in, Snake unloads with a kick right to Williams’s groin.)
HS: "LOW BLOW!"
FJ: "Yeah, but in a street fight, EVERYTHING is legal!"
(Williams drops to both his knees, grasping at his nether region, as the fans boo… somewhat. Snake backs away for a moment, grabbing his already severely damaged throat. He then gathers himself and charges straight for Williams, who has slowly climbed back to his feet. Snake unloads on Williams with a huge uppercut, and then begins nailing Williams with knees to his stomach. Snake manages to back Williams into a turnbuckle, but the larger Williams suddenly unloads with a thrust to Snake’s throat.)
HS: "Oh, throat gouge by Williams, and a huge momentum shifter."
FJ: "What a cheap shot!"
HS: "I see you haven’t changed much in our hiatus from one another."
FJ: "What?"
(Williams then reaches out, grabbing Snake’s arm, and, using all his strength he has, whips Snake hard into the opposite turnbuckle. A SMACK is heard, followed by the THUD of Snake hitting the mat.)
FJ: "Ouch… that had to hurt!"
HS: "Did you hear that impact!?"
(Snake instinctively climbs to his feet, only to be whipped again into the other turnbuckle by Williams, with the same result. Williams picks Snake up, roaring, and grabs him by the arm once more. With each fall, Snake stains the ring with puddles of his blood.)
FJ: "Third times the charm."
HS: "Williams is starting to gain a lot of momentum now."
(Williams whips Snake towards the corner, but Snake counter-whips. But instead of sending Williams into the corner, he pulls the seven footer back towards him and reaches out, grabbing him around the throat. Before Williams can react, Snake uses the momentum to lift him into the air and slam him back down with a wicked sidewalk slam by his throat.)
HS: "SnakeStrike!"
FJ: "Guess you spoke to soon. Great counter by Snake."
HS: "This match is completely intense! Great back and forth action."
FJ: "AND LOTS OF BLOOD!"
(Snake hops to his feet intensely and then heads out of the ring.)
HS: "Where’s he going?"
(Snake reaches under the ring tarp and, with the curiosity of the crowd peaked, pulls out a four foot long 2 X 4. He raises it high into the air as the fans cheer for the weapon. He slides into the ring where Williams is slowly climbing to his feet.)
FJ: "Snake has the advantage now."
HS: "If he nails Williams with that 2 X 4, this match is all over!"
(Snake climbs to his feet simultaneously with Williams, and charges at him. Snake swings, catching a big whiff of air as Williams ducks.)
HS: "Snake almost decapitated Williams there!"
FJ: "That would have been brutal!"
(SMACK! The sounds of Snake’s foot connecting with Williams’ face echoes throughout the arena.)
HS: "Oh, devastating side kick to Williams’ face."
FJ: "How did he get his leg that high?"
(Williams staggers backward into the ropes and rebounds off of them. CRACK! The sound of the 2 X 4 splintering off the skull of Williams rings throughout the arena as the audience gasps. HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!)
HS: "OH MY GOD! SNAKE JUST NAILED BRIAN WILLIAMS WITH THAT 2 X 4!"
FJ: "IT’S OVER! IT’S OVER!"
(Snake tosses the half of the 2 X 4 still left in his hand aside and looks down at the other end, which is colored crimson now, with Williams’s blood. Snake steps over the bloody splinters on the mat and, exhausted, covers Williams for the pin as the fans still chant.)
HS: "Snake’s going to win! What a victory!"
FJ: "Yes!"
(The fans scream aloud as the referee counts. ONE!.... TWO!....)
FJ: "SNAKE DID IT! SNAKE DID IT!"
HS: "I can’t believe this….. NOOO! Williams kicked out!"
FJ: "DAMMIT!"
(Snake is furious that Williams managed to get his shoulder up at the last second. He gets in the referee’s face momentarily, arguing his case for three. He then stomps the mat in frustration and goes for another pin, this time holding Williams’ shoulders down with force. ONE!... TWO!... TH.. kick out. Snake, in rage, again gets in the referee’s face and starts shoving him backward.)
HS: "Now, this is just uncalled for."
FJ: "What, it was clearly a three count."
(The fans begin booing Snake for bullying the referee, but he pays them no mind. The referee is practically trembling with fear when Snake grabs him by the throat.)
HS: "Oh, what a bully… he should be paying attention to his opponent!"
FJ: "Someone needs to teach that referee a lesson!"
(Snake quickly release, doubling over in pain from the low blow from Williams. The referee smiles to himself that Snake is now incapacitated.)
HS: "ANOTHER LOW BLOW! At least someone stopped Snake from mauling the referee."
FJ: "Williams looks pissed, Herb."
(With the blood flowing profusely now, from his head, Williams grabs Snake up by his hair. He looks into the eyes of Snake, through the pool of blood on his own face, and pulls Snake, single handedly, to his feet. He then locks in a tight sleeper hold on Snake, causing the blood to rush out of his open wound.)
HS: "Williams is trying to cut off the blood flow to Snake’s brain. He’s wearing him down."
FJ: "Look how dark the blood is coming from Snake’s head. He may pass out from blood loss."
(Williams grunts as he locks the sleeper hold in tighter. The referee all but begs Williams to release Snake, but to no avail. Williams just locks the hold in even tighter with each plea. Just as Snake starts to pass out, Williams lifts him up and over, behind him, planting Snake hard on the mat.)
HS: "Oh, what a vicious, cruel manoeuvre."
FJ: "How fitting, then, that he calls that Cruel Intent!"
(The fans cheer the action as Williams lifts Snake off the mat. He again roars and then tosses Snake overhead, this time releasing him. Snake goes flying into the ropes and gets tangled up in a tree of woe in the ropes. Williams spits on Snake and then unloads with some really powerful knees to Snake’s chest and stomach.)
HS: "Williams is just degrading Snake now. There is no cause for this."
FJ: "He’s just showing Snake whose boss."
(After a few more knees, Williams backs away, cursing something at Snake, who is nearly unconscious. He leaves Snake in the ropes, whose blood has formed a pool on the ring apron, and then proceeds to head out of the ring.)
HS: "Now Williams is getting a weapon!"
FJ: "Snake can’t move? Williams could kill him!"
HS: "I’m sure he doesn’t care. He said he wanted to end Snake’s career."
(Williams walks out of the ring and slowly reaches under the tarmac. After several tense moments, and some shuffling about, he pulls out something, but the camera doesn’t catch what it is.)
FJ: "It’s… It’s… It’s…"
HS: "A BOX?"
(Williams is in fact carrying a small shoe box into the ring with him.)
FJ: "It must be what’s in the box that is so important!"
HS: "But what could it be?"
(The crowd waits in silent anticipation as Williams again curses something at Snake. He then, very slowly, picks up the box and opens it up. Before reaching in, he once more looks over at Snake with a sadistic smile.)
FJ: "For God’s sake, what is it?"
HS: "Who knows with Williams."
(Williams reaches into the shoe box and pulls out a rose with a stem. Everyone, Frank, Herb, the fans, the referee, those viewing at home, is confused by this.)
HS: "Is that a rose?"
FJ: "I think it is Herb. What on Earth would Williams be doing with a rose in a Street Match. Or any match for that matter?"
HS: "My only answer, more like an assumption, is that it has something to do with Snake visiting Katherine’s grave. I guess it’s from her grave itself? I don’t really know."
FJ: "Well, wherever it’s from, I think I know what it’s for!"
(Williams kneels down in front of Snake, wielding the rose, and begins yelling at him. After a few moments of yelling, Williams slaps the helpless Snake across the face and then takes the rose and starts robbing it all over Snake’s face, soaking it in the blood from Snake’s cut.)
HS: "He’s befouling Snake. This is insane, complete and utter humiliation."
FJ: "Williams is insane? What’s he plan on doing? Thorning Snake to death?"
HS: "Williams is truly not all there. He’s a mad man."
(After Williams has destroyed the flower, and all of the bloody petals have fallen to the mat, he screams at Snake once more and then climbs to his feet.)
HS: "Oh, what now? Snake is completely helpless."
FJ: "This is getting sick."
(Williams backs up and then charges at Snake, lifting his leg out in front of him, aiming for a boot to Snake’s exposed groin.)
FJ: "I can’t look."
(The crowd lets out a sigh of relief, and then a cheer, as Williams yelps in pain as his head smacks against the ring. Snake managed to free himself and pull down the ropes, sending Williams over. But his leg got caught in the ropes and sent him face first into the side of the ring.)
HS: "Oh that looked quite painful. This just might be the break Snake needs, if he can regain his composure."
FJ: "Now Snake looks hot!"
HS: "I can’t believe either of these men have anything left. I mean, how in the hell did Snake get out of that. It’s incredible."
FJ: "He’s as slippery as a snake, Herb."
(Snake, running on fumes of anger and hate alone, slides under the bottom rope and gets in Williams’s face. He glares at Williams and then unloads with a slap of his own. Now a pool of blood forms on the ground outside of Williams as the blood rushes to his head. Snake goes over and grabs the ring bell from the time keeper and holds it high to some cheers from the crowd. Although most of the audience is sick from all the blood. He turns around to find Williams is missing.)
HS: "Where the hell did Williams go?"
FJ: "I don’t know, I was watching Snake get the bell."
HS: "As was I."
FJ: "How do you lose a seven foot, 360 pound monster?"
HS: "You lost him too!"
(Snake goes around looking for Williams, all the way around the ring, but to no avail. Some of the fans try to tell Snake where Williams went, but he does not listen. Eventually, Snake, furious and confused, looks under the apron. As soon as he pulls up the apron, PHOOOOSH! He catches a spray from a fire extinguisher square in the face. Snake staggers back, grasping at his eyes through the blood and mask.)
FJ: "Whoa, I certainly didn’t see that coming!"
HS: "Nor did Snake! Williams has blinded Snake!"
FJ: "This match is crazy!"
(The fans are speechless, not sure what to think, as Williams climbs out from underneath the ring and charges at Snake. CLUNK! He nails Snake in the head with the fire extinguisher, dropping him instantly to the mat. Williams holds it up for all to see and the camera focuses on the large dent in the side, curiously about the size of Snake’s head.)
HS: "Oh, a devastating blow to Snake. Look at that dent! He nearly took Snake’s head clean off."
FJ: "The way this match has been so far, I don’t want to say anything is over. But it certainly looks good for Williams right now."
HS: "I’m amazed, disgusted and horrified by was has transpired here so far tonight in this match. And, at the thirty minute mark, it still may be a long way from over."
FJ: "I just hope this doesn’t turn into another Springs and Breaks."
HS: "That would be horrible, but the way these men are going it at, I don’t think either one would give up till they’re dead."
(Williams rolls Snake into the ring and follows him. He drags him to the center of the ring and hooks Snake’s leg as the referee pins.)
FJ: "It HAS to be over now. Snake isn’t even conscious."
HS: "We’re three seconds away from finding out."
(The fans roar with the referee… ONE!... TWO!... THREE!)
FJ: "It’s finally over!"
HS: "NO!"
(The referee holds two fingers up signifying that Snake kicked out at the last second. Williams falls backwards in disbelief and exhaustion and lays there for a moment before climbing to his feet as the fans erupt in a frenzy from the suspense. Both men gasp for air as they slowly start to climb to their feet.)
HS: "MY GOD, both men are climbing to their feet!"
FJ: "This is just completely insane!"
(Williams reacts first, though, knocking down Snake hard with a clothesline before he can make it all the way to his feet. Williams stumbles over from exhaustion (and blood loss) and again struggles to climb to his feet. Snake does as well as the fans begin cheering both men for their superhuman efforts.)
HS: "Neither man can even hold their own weight up. This match has to come to an end soon or neither of these men is going to walk out of here tonight."
FJ: "I don’t think they’ll allow that themselves."
(As they hit their feet, both men’s eyes grow wide at seeing the other and they immediately begin trading rights. With each hit on their opponent, blood splatters in every direction, even dousing some fans both willing and disgusted. Droplets of blood cover the ring in all directions now, as they continue to punch one another, no man gaining any advantage. Finally, Snake unloads with a kick to Williams’ stomach doubling him over. The fans cheer loudly as he crouches down and attempts to lift Williams onto his shoulders.)
HS: "Snake’s going for the INJECTION! This could be it! It could finally be over!"
FJ: "Williams is 353 pounds, there’s no way… this would be amazing!"
(Snake tries to lift Williams up, but is unable, and collapses at his feet.)
HS: "Oh no, this truly is reminiscent of Springs and Breaks!"
FJ: "Snake is going to strain himself to death."
(Snake again tries to lift Williams, but is unable. Williams then lands a double axe handle clubbing blow right into Snake’s spine, sending him down face first to the mat. Snake claws at Williams, using his legs to climb to his feet, but Williams lands another blow, sending Snake right back down. Snake climbs up again and this time he punches Williams in the gut. He does so again, doubling Williams over once more. He then begins punching Williams in the stomach repeatedly, with both hands, staggering him backward. The fans start to get behind Snake as he nails Williams with an uppercut, forcing him against the ropes. Snake charges forward with a clothesline, only to be met with a palm around his throat.)
FJ: "He didn’t even faze Williams!"
HS: "Williams is furious. Just look at his eyes."
(Snake’s eyes grow wide with surprise and the fans let out a gasp. In an instant, Williams has lifted Snake off the ground and slammed him back to the mat.)
HS: "CHOKESLAM! CHOKESLAM!"
FJ: "Williams just pulled that out of nowhere!"
(Williams stumbles backward and has to grab the ropes for support. He then shakes off the dizziness and looks up towards the right turnbuckle to the laudation of the fans.)
HS: "Now what is Williams planning?"
FJ: "I think he’s going up top, Herb."
HS: "But a man his size doesn’t belong up there!"
FJ: "Can you imagine the destruction he might cause?"
(Williams slowly climbs up the turnbuckle, fumbling about because of his massive frame and because he’s completely worn out. As he reaches the top, Snake slowly begins to waken.)
HS: "Snake’s up, he has to move. MOVE SNAKE!"
FJ: "This is going to be sick."
(Williams doesn’t jump, however, and leans over and starts untying his boot.)
HS: "What the hell?"
(Once his boot is fully unlaced, he reaches down beside his calf and pulls out a crowbar from inside his boot.)
FJ: "That explains why he hurt himself so much earlier! And to think, I just thought it was because he didn’t drink his milk."
HS: "How can you make jokes at a time like this? Williams has a crowbar for crying out loud."
(The fans let out a gasp as he holds it high. Snake has climbed to his feet now and Williams grins evilly. A moment later, Williams is airborne…)
HS: "DEAR GOD!"
FJ: "LOOK OUT BELOW!"
(With a loud CRACK!, Williams stands over the fallen snake. He looks at the crowbar and the blood smeared all over it. Williams stands there a moment, contemplating his slaughter, then wipes the blood from the crowbar onto Snake’s already bloody chest before covering him for the pin.)
HS: "WILLIAMS JUST NAILED SNAKE WITH THE CROWBAR FROM UP TOP! OH MY GOD!"
FJ: "SNAKE IS OUT COLD! IT REALLY IS OVER THIS TIME!"
(The fans count along ONE!... TWO!... THREE!... and Snake is nowhere near kicking out as he lays unconscious in the ring. ‘Nothing Else Matters’ hits over the P.A. as Williams stumbles to his feet. He doesn’t even let the referee hold his arm as he is announced the winner.)
HS: "BRIAN WILLIAMS HAS DONE IT! HE’S BEATEN SNAKE!"
FJ: "Snake put everything on the line for this one, and Williams still managed to come out victorious."
HS: "But just look at this bloody mess… both of these men gave everything they had. Snake was so resilient, but in the end Williams was dominant once again."
FJ: "This was just a sick match."
(Williams begins to head up the ramp, slowly, and suddenly collapses on the ramp. EMT’s rush out to aide both men, as does Violent Harmony to check on Snake.)
FJ: "What a blood bath… and what a victory by Brian Williams!"
HS: "but now we come to what we have all be waiting for Frank."
FJ: "Indeed. One man will walk out as the Undisputed AWA World Heavyweight Champion."
(We cut to a video package highlighting previous battles between "Dark Warrior" Jeff Christianson and Jayson "Misery" Price. We see Christianson winning his first World title beating LJ Vacamas in 2003, then winning his second title from John Williams at Classic 2004. We see Jayson Price ending BOTH title reigns of the seemingly Brian Williams, first at Revelations and then at Hell-O-Ween. We end the package with a graphic of Christianson and Price both holding their respective World title belts. We then cut back to Herb and Frank.)
HS: "This is it. The end of the roster split. We will only have one undisputed World Champion when this match is over. It is Shock versus Xplosion. Each man won his title defeating a different Williams brother and tonight, both men have the chance to write history."
("We Go Hard" by Cam'Ron and DMX blares over the PA system and Jeff Christianson walks out slowly to a loud chorus of boos, Paige following him down the aisle. He has a very arrogant smirk on his face as he looks straight at the ring. Paige walks over to one corner as DW jumps up on the ring apron. He turns around, looks at the
crowd, and then steps through the middle rope. Once inside the ring DW proudly displays his World title belt.)
HS: "Jeff Christianson made his AWA debut in the summer of 2001, making his pay-per-view debut in the Rookie Brawl at Summer Shootout. He was part of The Hostile Alliance and The BluePrint and has worked hard to become one of the AWA top stars over the years. he is one of the few men that can call himself a Grand Slam Champion in the AWA, having won the Tag Team title, along with C-Rock, from Opposites Attract, the Cruiserweight title from Black Dragon, the Hardcore title from Bubba Brook, the TV title from Jason Dread, the US title from Drake Hyde, Inferno and Snakebite for the US title and LJ Vacamas and John Williams for the World title."
FJ: "Are you FINALLY done with the history lesson?"
HS: "Yeah... for now..."
(Christianson stares right at the entrance as "What comes Around" by Ill Nino hits the PA system and Jayson Price emerges from the back, the World title draped across his chest. The crowd welcomes him with loud cheers as he walks down the aisle. Price climbs into the ring and then mounts the turnbuckle, posing for the crowd.)
FJ: "Here comes history lesson, part 2."
HS: "Jayson 'Misery' Price joined the AWA in early-2003. He made a quick impact, winning the TV title from Will Scott and producing the longest TV title reign in AWA history. He won the title a second time, beating Bryan Peek. He also won the Cruiserweight title from Javex Valerius and the Hardcore title against Javex and The Fish. Most impressively, though, is the fact that he ended BOTH World title reigns of Brian Williams."
(Price and DW are now walking towards each other, their respective belts across their shoulders. The ring announcer then enters the ring.)
RING ANNOUNCER: "Ladies and gentlemen, this contest is scheduled for one fall and it will determine the UNDISPUTED AWA Heavyweight Champion of the Woooorld!"
"Introducing first, from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, weighing in at 250 pounds and representing AWA Sunday Night Shock... here is the AWA World Heavyweight Champion, "Dark Warrior" JEFF CHRISTIANSON!"
(The crowd heavily boos one more time as DW and Misery just keep staring at each other.)
RING ANNOUNCER: "His opponent, weighing in at 222 pounds, representing AWA Xplosion... here is the AWA World Heavyweight Champion, JAYSON "Misery" PRICE!"
(The referee takes both Champions' belts and holds him into the air as the fans cheer. The bell rings and DW and Price lock up in a collar and elbow tie up, each man vying for advantage on the other. After a few seconds each man breaks the hold and they stare at one another before circling each other again. The two men lock up once more and Price twists around and locks in a hard hammerlock before shoving DW foward. Getting his balance back DW rolls his shoulder and lunges at Price again. This time DW is the man twisting into the hammerlock and shoving Price foward, a smirk on his face.)
HS: "These two men are so evenly matched it's not even funny. OH, what a cheap shot!"
(As Price turns DW drops him with a hard right hand to the face, dropping Price hard to the mat. The crowd erupts in a huge chant of "You Suck" as DW pulls Price back to his feet. Once Price is back to his feet DW rears back and begins to back Jayson into the ropes, then hitting multiple knife edge chops. Once he gets Jayson into the ropes DW reaches foward and sends him across the ring with an Irish whip. DW goes for a clothesline but Price ducks and spins around, hitting a hard clothesline of his own. Price then pulls DW up and hits a huge T-bone suplex. Quickly rolling over, Jayson hooks the leg and gets a quick two-count. Getting back to a knee Price pulls DW up to his feet and swings a right hand, but DW blocks the right hand and lands one of his own. DW then pulls Price up and hits a quick snap suplex. Jeff then turns and starts mounting the ropes. He reaches the top turnbuckle, but Price is back on his feet and hits a right hand right into DW's groin, dropping him right onto the top turnbuckle.)
FJ:"OOOHHHHH!!!!"
HS: "Thats going to leave a mark."
FJ: "A mark? This is blatant cheating, Herb, and could seriously hurt Dark Warrior!"
(DW is in pain and sitting on the turnbuckle, giving time for Jayson to take several steps backwards and stalk his prey. As Jeff begins pulling himself up Price leaps into action, taking off at a dead run and leaping onto the second turnbuckle and finally the top and wrapping his arms around DW's waist. Pulling backwards Price hits a thunderous German suplex to the outside! Both men hit the floor hard and the crowd erupts in a chant of "Holy shit! Holy shit!" as Dark Warrior is slammed hard and with a loud thud on the steel rampway.)
FJ: "Good God!!!! Only on an AWA pay-per-view will you see a man get launched through the air like this!"
HS: "Jeff has to be broken in half!!! Can Jayson Price take advantage of it though?"
FJ: "Can Price himself even get up is the real question!"
(DW lays there motionless as Price begins to slowly pull himself up to his feet, his arm clutching his ribs. Using the ropes Price gets to his feet and looks up towards the ref, who just shrugs and decides not to start the count.)
HS: "Good decision on part of the referee, allowing these two Champions to battle it out inside the ring and get a real decision."
(Once Price is up he leans himself against the apron of the ring, taking a moment to gather himself, his arm still clutching his ribs tightly. DW still has to make any movement at all.)
FJ: "Herb, I think Dark Warrior is dead!"
HS: "Oh Frank..."
(Finally Jeff begins to slowly pull himself to his feet, stopping while on his knees and gently shaking his head. Price, however, is already approaching DW. As Price reaches Christianson he pulls DW to his feet and begins to walk him towards the ring, driving his knee into DW's mid-section several times. Once near the ring, Price whips DW headfirst into the steel ringpost. Price wastes no time as he quickly moves over to DW and pulls him to his feet before rolling him into the ring and then sliding in himself.)
FJ: "Jayson Price is in full control of this match, but let's not count out Jeff just yet."
HS: "That German off the turnbuckle was a killer. I am still cringing just thinking about how much that had to hurt."
(Price quickly crawls into a cover and hooks the leg but again DW's shoulder is lifted up at two. Sitting up Price shakes his head in slight frustration, more with the referee than anything else. Both men are back up and Price sends Jeff quickly toward the ropes. However DW is finally able to counter, jumping up, grabbing Price by the head and neck, twisting around and hitting a nice swining neckbreaker. Price hits the ground so hard he bounces back up, spins around and lands on his face. DW finally has the chance to catch his breath. After a short pause Jeff wastes no time taking control, planting his knee firmly into the back of Jayson's right knee and, using the
man's own foot for leverage, begins to pull back on the knee and the ankle. He then pulls up Jayson's leg, places his knee onto it and then drops to the mat. He then pulls Jayson back to his feet. After a stiff kick into the midsection DW puts Jayson's head between his legs and pulls his arms back, as if to go for a pedigree. Price is abkle to counter, however, sending DW over with a backdrop. Price, not wasting any time, immediately pulls DW back to his feet, goes into a power bomb position and...)
FJ: "NO!"
HS: "He's going for it! Life's Final Jest!"
(The entire arena is on its feet now as the end seems to be near, but DW is able to shake Misery off, drops to his feet and quickly rolls from the ring to the outside. Misery's eyes narrow as DW mocks him, showing a half inch signal with his fingers, saying "That close to a victory, weren't you?" Price rolls out of the ring and takes off after DW, who in turn slides back into the ring. Just as Price slides back in he is greeted by stomps from DW. DW pulls Price up, but Price is able to counter with a series of right fists to DW's stomach, rocking him backwards. Dodging one of Jeff's own rights, Jayson slides behind him and locks his arms around his gut, hitting another German suplex, this time right into the corner. Price seems to be clearly in control again now. Once DW is back to his feet Price sneaks around him and applies a full nelson. He doesn't hold the submission hold for long, however, but instead lifts DW up and hits a tiger suplex, getting a very long two count before DW is able to kick out. Both men get up to their feet at about the same time, but it is DW who starts running and nails Price with a nasty-looking clip right into the back of his legs, sening him straight to the mat. DW then waits for Price to get back up by himself, almost stalking him. As Price reaches his feet, DW kicks him right into the calf, sending him hard to the mat.)
HS: "Look at this?"
FJ: "He is setting up his Grapevine."
(DW this time doesn't waste any time and pulls Price back up. He positions his head between his legs and hooks Misery's arms. DW jumps up and hits a vicious pedigree, driving Jayson's face straight into the mat. Instead of covering him, however, he picks him up and hits a side backbreaker, then a second one, then a third one. He then releases him from his grasp. DW continues to stay on offense as he pulls Price up yet again and Irish whips him into the corner. DW follows him and hits a hard clothesline. Price drops down to his knees as DW rolls out of the ring. DW grabs Jayson's legs and attempt to pull him crotch-first towards the ringpost, but Misery is able to counter and pulls DW towards the steel ringpost. DW, though, is able to position his arm between the ringpost and his face, thus avoiding the blow. Instead he grabs Jayson's leg and smashes it against the ringpost, not once, not twice, but three times.)
FJ: "Now this is the Dark Warrior we are use to seeing on Xplosion. Like a predator stalking his prey!"
HS: "He is singling out one body part and picking it apart, Frank."
(DW slides back into the ring. He picks Price up and hits a shinbreaker, then a second one and a third one. He then uses a dragon whip to ground Price again. He picks up both of Price's legs as if for a Boston crab, but instead rolls over into a pinning position.)
FJ: "Could it be over here?"
HS: "OH! So close!"
(The three count was just a split second away, but Jayson's shoulder still gets up. Now DW rises to his feet and signals he wants to finish it now before grabbing Price's ankle.)
FJ: "Anklelock!"
HS: "If he can grapevine this it may be over."
(Jayson quickly tries crawling toward the ropes. His fingers actually are only inches away from the ropes, but DW is able to pull him back and gets to the ground, curling his legs around Jayson's own and pulling back on the ankle.)
FJ: "GRAPEVINE, GRAPEVINE!!!!"
HS: "This could be it!"
(Jayson Price is the middle of the ring, nowehere near the ropes, locked firmly in the Grapevine Anklelock. The agony and pain Jayson has to endure is eveident by the look on his face. Price is trying to fight bravely, trying to drag his own weight and that of DW toward the ropes, but finally it becomes too much and Jayson Price is forced to tap out!)
FJ: "Jeff Christianson did it!"
HS: "We have a new Undisputed AWA World Heavyweight Champion!!!!!"
(Christianson's music hits as the crowd boos him. Paige steps into the ring with an overjoyed look on her face. Christianson doesn't seem to immediately grasp what has just happened, but as soon as the referee hands him the two World title belts he jumps up and hugs Paige. He proudly displays both belts to the crowd as confetti and fireworks go off in Madison Square Garden.)
HS: "Almost ten months after Brian Williams and The Legendary Low engaged in a series of controversial battles, almost ten months after AWA officials got into a huge powerplay we FINALLY have ONE American Wrestling Alliance again!!! We now FINALLY have only ONE true Undisputed AWA World Heavyweight Champion, the Heavyweight Champion of the entire AWA, and his name is 'Dark Warrior' Jeff Christianson!"
FJ: "Xplosion has prevailed in the end, but the winners are all the fans that now get to see the best taking on the best, as well as the wrestlers as we now get the chance to see matches we didn't have the chance to see just four weeks ago!"
("Family Ties" starts to play as an exhausted, but obviously elated Dark Warrior makes his way to the top of the ramp. As he does he turns and looks back to the ring. Then almost out of nowhere, A large muscular man storms out from behind the curtain and flattens DW from behind. It does not take long to figure out that the attack has come courtesy of John Williams.)
HS: Frank.... That’s John Williams, John Williams has returned here tonight and he is doing a number on the World Champ here.
FJ: Damnit, I thought we were rid of him for good, what a crappy way to end a great night.
HS: I bet Dark Warrior is saying the same thing.
(As the announcers speak Williams continues to hammer away with hard right hands to the grill of DW. Williams then climbs to his feet and pulls DW up with him. Williams begins to pull DW towards the entrance curtain and then drives his face into the steel column supporting the big screen. DW falls and we see the blood that has begun to run quite heavily from his forehead.)
FJ: Security, this is ridiculous, he cant do this to our World Champion.
HS: Oh, I think Dark Warrior had it coming, and if you remember it was Dark Warrior that put John Williams on the shelf a few months back.
FJ: Yeah but he was not supposed to be here, this was supposed to be Jeff’s Night.
(Williams looks down at the bloody Champion and a smile comes across his face. He reaches into the right pocket of his tattered black Jeans and pulls out a steel chain which he proceeds to wrap around his fist. Williams holds his fist up in the air and the crowd cheers. Williams then begins to drive the chain covered fist into the forehead of DW. He hits him seven or eight times before standing up and dropping the chain to the steel ramp. We can see the blood of DW on the bare chest of Williams.)
HS: This is getting bad, I think we are going to need some help out here. Williams looks pretty obsessed with revenge here.
(Williams then goes and picks up the AWA World Title and makes his way back over to the Champion who is trying without much success to get up. Williams boots DW in the head and he falls back down and rolls to his back. He then holds the Title in the face of Jeff and begins to speak in a low but firm tone.)
WILLIAMS: No Hard Feelings Jeff, just here to take back what’s mine.
(Williams then tosses the belt down and pulls DW to his feet. He then pulls him to the edge of the ramp and presses him over his head as if is going to toss him over the edge.)
HS: No, Don’t do that, Williams is going to kill Dark Warrior Frank.
FJ: Damnit, this is not right, that is the world Champion.
(Williams then just smiles and drops DW back down onto the steel ramp. He then lays the World Title over the chest of the unconscious Champion and then just stares down at him as he smears DW's blood around on his chest. Williams then backs up and through the curtain as the crowd remains in a frenzy.)
HS: "Ladies and gentlemen, this has been AWA Wrestlefest VI! What a night folks, a great night for wrestling, we have a new unified World Champion, but what condition will he be in when we see you next, and we will hope to have more on the savage attack by John Williams, is the former World Champion back in the AWA, and what were his motives from such and attack.
