(The AWA logo flashes across the screen, followed by the Xplosion and Shock logos, respectively. A beautiful lawn comes into view, right next to a calm lake. The sun is shining, the birds are singing. Obviously, it is... SPRING. Suddenly, the sound of breaking bones destroy this calmness and scenes from all AWA superstars participating in Springs And Breaks are shown in rapidfire succession, as loud punk music is played.
...Special attention is given to the five tag teams competing for the Tag Team title tonight... La Revolution, NPD, Eternal Undying, Gothic Nightmare... and the AWA Tag Team Champions John Williams and The Assassin...
...Tonight, a long and violent feud will finally come to an end, as the World Heavyweight Champion of AWA Shock, Brian Williams, defends his title against "The Nuclear Nautilus" Adam Bawm in a Casket Match...
...And finally, AWA Xplosion World Champion The Legendary Low, The Fish and Jayson "Misery" Price have had a number of battles dating as far back as June 2003. Tonight, all their battles will culminate in a Triple Threat Ladder Match for the gold...
...Tonight... at AWA SPRINGS AND BREAKS...
(We cut into the sold-out Tropicana Field in St.Petersburg, Florida, where some huge fireworks go off. The hot crowd is shown, but we quickly cut to the AWA Xplosion announcers, Larry Porter and Frank Jackson.)
LP: "AWA fans, welcome to Springs And Breaks 2004! And what night this promises to be!"
FJ: "Exactly, Larry! Tonight, AWA Xplosion presents the returning Brute taking on The Eviltikiman. Steve Dallas takes on Poppa."
LP: "Ted Goldstein recently announced the return of the AWA Hardcore title and tonight six men will battle it out in a Hardcore Invitational. Also, the Cruiserweight title will be on the line, as BlackJack defends against Rawstarr in a Steel Cage Match."
FJ: "And rounding things out on the Xplosion side, the World Champion Low will take on Jayson Price and The Fish in a Ladder Match!"
LP: "We are now going to our Shock colleagues, Herb Summers and Mark Keller."
(The camera cuts to the Shock announcers.)
HS: "Thanks, Larry. AWA Shock will present a match between two relative newcomers tonight, as Mark Hein takes on Alan lake."
MK: "Exactly. Furthermore, La Revolution, NPD, Eternal Undying and Gothic Nightmare all fight for the chance to face the AWA Tag Team Champions, John Williams and The Assassin, TONIGHT!"
HS: "Julie Williams and Lethal Louise have agreed on competing in a Strap Match tonight. Also, the AWA TV title has been declared vacant by George Slater and tonight Vitto Vincenzio and Evan Spire both get the chance to fill that vacancy."
MK: "And finally, Adam Bawm vs. Brian Williams... this feud will come to an end tonight, as the AWA World title will be on the line in a Casket Match."
HS: "And we will now kick off the first match that is presented by AWA Sunday Night Shock!"
MK: "That’s right! It’s going to be "The Meat Man" Mark Hein going up against Alan Lake. First of all I will have to say
that I am going to put my money on Alan Lake. Mark may have the size advantage but man… Lake’s crazy!"
HS: "He certainly is but I am going to say Mark Hein is putting Lake away. He has a size advantage and looks to be more
supported by the fans."
MK: "Yeah that size advantage certainly helped him last week against D’Augbine."
HS: *sigh* "Well here comes Mark Hein right now..."
("A Million to One" by Kiss plays through out the arena as a fairly big pop from the crowd happens. Mark and Brian make their way on stage. The Meat Man poses for pictures and gives a couple high fives to people down the ramp way as Brian follows. The two stop and begin to talk when the music suddenly stops and the lights go out.)
MK: "Hey! What in the hell’s going on?"
HS: "Oh no!"
(The lights come back on and we see that Alan Lake is standing at the top of the entrance way. Mark and Lake lock eyes
and charge at each other, Mark using his size advantage to bowl Lake over with a long arm closeline. Lake begins to roll away
from Mark and is caught in the forehead by a massive kick stamping Lake right on the head! Mark begins to walk past Lake
down to the ring and Lake throws himself on his feet. Lake grins and runs full speed behind Mark, diving forward with a type of
baseball slide and hit’s Mark in the back of the knee! Mark falls to his back right in front of the ring and begins trying to claw
himself back up using the apron but Lake keeps him down with some stomps to the mid-section. Lake spits on Mark and Brian
runs around the ring, running into Lake and pushing him into the steel steps! Lake’s knees smack the steps and he flies over
them with a somersault. The referee slides under the ropes and points a finger in Brian’s face ordering him to the back! Brian
begins to argue but eventually walks up the entranceway.)
MK: "Hah! Seems like Brian just couldn’t help but get in the action, eh?"
HS: "Just trying to help his friend out but now it seemed to work against him."
(Mark frowns as he sees Brian walking the entranceway and quickly climbs the stairs. He grabs the top rope and is about to pull himself in when Lake suddenly hits a fury of punches on Mark’s knee. Mark kicks Lake away but Lake refuses to back off and steps onto the ring apron right next to Mark. Lake throws a few punches that stagger Mark but Mark fights back with a
head butt, which knocks Lake back. Lake scowls and dives forward, spearing Mark in the mid-section off the stairs and into
the ground! Lake grins as he rolls to his feet and steps through the middle rope. He stands on the second rope and raises his
arms in the air, smirking. The crowd boo’s him and Lake merely poses even more. Mark slides under the bottom rope slowly
and gets to all fours beginning to climb to his feet. Before he can get very far up Lake runs forward and NAILS Mark in the
teeth with a soccer style kick! Mark begins to climb to his feet yet again and he opens his mouth, revealing blood coming from
the roots of his teeth and onto his lip. Lake takes full advantage of the situation and jumps for a splash into Mark. Mark catches
Lake and hit’s him with a beautiful Manhattan drop. Lake stumbles off Mark’s knee and is brought to his back with a hard
overhead chop to the chest.)
HS: "Woah! Did you hear that chop echo? That had to hurt. Just imagine someone with as much power as Hein slapping
their hand across your chest. It’s gotta sting horribly."
MK: "You know, that is just like you Herb. Thinking of men slapping your chest. You’re sick."
(Lake rolls to his feet and immediately Mark throws a closeline but Lake ducks it and hits a razor edge chop across the
chest! Mark stumbles back and Lake hit’s another one. Lake hit’s one more and Mark hit’s the ropes, recoiling right into a
long irish whip across the ring, using all of his power. Mark comes back and Lake dives forward, his arm extended for a
closeline. Mark is hit in the throat by the arm but keeps going, throttling Lake in the chest with his shoulder. Both men fall down
to, their backs from the individual moves but Lake seems to be stirring. Lake pulls himself up to his feet and Mark is sitting on
the second rope as Lake begins to walk towards him. Mark gets off the rope and walks right into a kick to the gut from Lake.
Mark bends over and Lake skips to the side of him, throwing his leg out for a low kick to the shin. Mark falls to one knee and
Lake runs his fist into the chin on Hein, his face rigid showing no remorse.
Mark’s head whips back and as it comes back another fist comes, hooking and laying itself across Mark’s temple. Mark’s head whips to the side and he seems to be very dazed. Lake’s fist rears back and Mark looks on, helpless and ready to collapse. Lake pushes his fist forward with all his power, his knuckles planting into Mark’s forehead and sending him to a sitting position, his back resting against the ropes. Lake steps forward, looking down at Mark with a scowl. He drives the sole of his boot right into the throat of Mark, a mix of saliva and blood ejecting from his mouth at the same time. Mark leans to the side as the crowd continues to boo.)
MK: "Damn Herb! Lake is pretty damn sick and I think his brutality is going to win the match for him."
HS: "Lake has turned this from a wrestling match into an assault! Mark Hein has got to be out of energy by now."
(Lake soaks up the jeering and raises both fists in the air, simultaneously brushing Mark across the front of the face with his
boot. Mark’s eyes snap open at this time and he very slowly begins to work his way to his feet. Lake stares on in confusion, his
eyes wide with shock. He hit’s a snap jab to the head of Mark but he ignores it and continues to his feet. Mark throws his head
up in the air and screams a battle cry into the air. The crowd cheers as he throws all his weight into Lake, charging him into the
turnbuckle with a spear. Lake’s feet leave the ground and before they can touch the ground again Mark drives his shoulder into
Lakes gut twice more. Lake begins to sink but his is pulled up to a standing position by Mark. Mark shakes his head "no" and
begins to hit Lake with quick punches to the forehead and nose, quick and one after another. Lake is slowly battled down to a
sitting position, taking each punch. Mark walks out of the turnbuckle and looks to be getting ready to spear Alan again. Mark
runs forward and Lake jumps out of the way, Mark’s shoulder crashing off the turnbuckle post. Mark recoils slowly out and
Lake rolls him up, putting his feet on the ropes! 1... 2... kickout! Lake seems frustrated and kicks Mark in the chest.)
MK: "Whoa! That was a close count man. I thought it was over right there."
HS: "Cheating never pays off Mark."
(Mark Hein climbs to his feet and throws a left hook but Lake side steps it and throws his fist into the stomach of Mark.
Mark bends over and Lake throws him into the ropes. Mark recoils off the ropes and falls right into a elbow to the stomach
followed by a spinning back heel kick connecting with Mark’s mid-section. Mark looks like he’s about to fall over from the
pain but Alan doesn’t let him fall over and in one swift motion grabs Mark’s head, clips his legs and throws his head to the
ground causing pain to shoot through his body. Alan looks down coldly at Mark and places his boot across his throat, toying
with it and adding null pressure. Alan then pushes down with all his weight and begins to choke Mark blatantly with his foot.
Mark begins to spit and gurgle, fighting for air and fighting to release himself. The referee finally pushes Alan off and Lake raises
a fist to the referee, who quickly backs off. Mark rolls to his stomach and climbs to an all fours position. Alan stands above
Mark and jumps into the air, throwing all his weight on Mark’s back and causing him to collapse to his back. Lake grabs
Mark’s head and jerks him back up to a all fours position. Lake looks into Mark’s eyes and pulls his fist up. Lake drives his
closed fist into Mark’s temple, knocking the head to the side. Lake proceeds to do this two more times, the third punch
knocking Mark to his side, his eyes closed and exhausted breath coming from his chest.)
HS: "Alan Lake is a cruel man, he just could of knocked out Mark Hein. Theirs blood coming from the man’s teeth now he
just could of put lights out for Hein."
MK: "I told you this guys sick and he wants to show everybody how he can damage your body."
(Mark looks to not be stirring and Alan reaches down, grabbing his knee and dragging him to a turnbuckle. Alan takes
Mark’s knee and hooks it over the second turnbuckle, tangling the foot in the ropes also. Mark still lays not moving and Alan
scales to the third turnbuckle slowly. He grins at Mark’s motionless body and steadies himself before jumping off and driving
his elbow into Mark’s suspended leg! Mark’s eyes are now open and he screams out in pain. Alan gets to his feet and
continues to torture and hurt Mark’s leg with hard toe kicks. He gets a good right hand into the knee before mark struggles up
to a sitting position with his knee still on the turnbuckle and grabs Alan’s leg, pulling him down to the ground. Alan hits the
ground and quickly rolls out of it, looking furious at Mark.
Alan bounces off the opposite set of ropes and comes toward the turnbuckle full blast. Alan jumps and scores a beautiful low dropkick to the hung up knee and he rests on his back. Mark finally gets his leg loose from the turnbuckle and uses the second rope to pull himself to his feet. Mark hobbles forward and as Lake gets up he hit’s a European uppercut. Lake staggers against the ropes and Mark uses his strength to pick Lake above his head for a military press slam. Mark throws Lake off and Lake lands on top of the third turnbuckle, looking tangled in the ropes! Mark hit’s two punches to the head before Lake’s finger comes and pokes Mark in the eye. Hein stumbles away and Lake climbs the third turnbuckle again, seeing his opportunity. Lake leaps off the turnbuckle and grabs Hein’s face, implanting it into the ground with a flying facecrusher!)
MK: "Lake is defintely using his speed advantage and I think this match is as good as won for Lake."
HS: "No way! Hein looks like a powerful man and I do not think he’s quite done."
(Lake turns to the crowd and grins, raising both fists in the air. At this moment, a bag of nuts come out of the crowd and hit
Lake in the head! Lake glares at the crowd and throws the empty bag back, only floating to the outside of the ring. Lake steps
over all of the nuts scattered around the ring and gets to Mark Hein. He grabs Mark Hein and pulls him to his feet and back to
the middle of the ring. Lake throws Hein’s face right into his knee with a knee buster and Hein bounces off the knee seemingly
and stands dazed. Lake drives his foot into Hein’s gut for a toe kick and holds him in place. Alan puts his head under his arm
and raises his head into the air. He lifts him into the air and comes down to a sitting position nailing Mark’s head into the mat
with the Lake Effect! Mark’s head bounces into the scattered peanuts and all of them seem to jump in the air and as Mark is
rolled to his back we see some are stuck on his face. .Mark lays motionless and Alan hooks the leg and presses the
shoulders... 1... 2... 3!)
MK: "Yeah! There’s my pick Alan Lake getting it done nice and clean."
HS: "Well, at least he didn’t cheat for the win... amazingly."
MK: "Yeah, yeah, whatever, Summers."
(Ring technicians come out with brooms and begin to sweep all of the peanuts out of the ring for the next match as Mark Hein is helped to the back by his good friend Brian The Butcher. Lake is still in the ring celebrating his first pay-per-view victory when suddenly Draven Shadows runs down the long aisle of Tropicana Field and sliees into the ring. He blindsides Lake with a clothesline from behind and then lays the boots to him. Lake, exhausted and surprised, manages a comeback, but Draven finally regains control with a well-placed fist onto Lake's nose. He then lifts him up and hits the Shadows Of Hell.)
HS: "Where was he coming from?"
MK: "From the back, Herb, from the back."
HS: "I know that you... whatever. Draven Shadows has done a number on Alan Lake."
(Draven gives Lake a look of detest and then slides out of the ring as the referee tends to Lake. We then go to a commercial for the upcoming biography of The Legendary Low, called "Anything But Low Profile...")
HS: "Fans, coming up next is yet another match presented to you by AWA Shock."
MK: "That’s right, Herb, a 4-way tag team match featuring the likes of NPD, Gothic Nightmare, Eternal Undying and my pick of the evening, La Revolution."
HS: "Well, each of these teams has just as good a chance as the other."
MK: "And the winner will go on to face the newly crowned tag champions, John Williams and The Assassin, LATER TONIGHT!"
HS: "We have a huge night ahead of us, so without further ado, let’s begin this match."
(CKY’s "96 Quite Bitter Beings" hits and out come Draven and Raven Shadows followed by the mysterious Heather to a sub par reaction. They don’t seem to care, however, and nonchalantly make their way to the ring. They take their positions and await their opponent.)
HS: "These two brothers seemed focused tonight. In my opinion they’re the dark horse in this match."
MK: "They both look vicious don’t they? I see what Frank saw in them. And how ‘bout that Heather?"
HS: "She’s ... she’s ..."
MK: "Indescribable."
HS: "Agreed."
("If I Die" by L Bow hits to a slightly substantial reaction as NPD members Big Bad Blue and Bronco T emerge from the back. They take the time to acknowledge some fans wearing NPD jerseys.)
HS: "While the NPD faction has had some success in the tag division, neither of these two men has held the titles together before. Let’s see if they can be more cohesive than their last appearance on Shock."
MK: "These clowns don’t stand a chance tonight!"
(B3 and Bronco T climb into the ring and Gothic Nightmare backs out. Each member goes to opposite turnbuckles and climbs up, posing for flash photography. Suddenly, they are interrupted by "Republique Francais" and the crowd immediately begins booing. Adrien D’Augbine emerges from the back, followed closely by his cousin, Jacques A’Mer. D’Augbine is holding a French flag high in the air and A’Mer is carrying a sign that has a picture of George W. Bush’s head in a circle with a strike through it. Underneath the picture, in bold letters, are the words ‘Inferior’.)
HS: "These two are outrageous! And the fans are letting them know it!"
MK: "Yes, but they don’t care, Herb, and I respect them for that!"
(The haunting voice of Amy Lee fills the arena. Lights wash the area in blue light, and blue flames ignite the sides of the ramp. "Lies" by Evanescence starts up as Eternal Undying is set to enter. Whisper makes his way to the ring dressed in a completely white leather suit. Leather pants, sport jacket, shirt, tie, and shoes topped off with blue tinted sunglasses. The blue lights of the arena make him look completely blue. As the harsh whisper of the lyrics begins, Phoenix and Vampire walk out from the back. Phoenix wears shiny gold pants with red and orange flames running down the legs and has a shirt that proclaims, "EVERYTHING YOU WISH YOU WERE" on the front and "THE ETERNAL" on the back. Vampire wears his usual leather pants and chains, but also has on a shirt that says "EVERYTHING YOU FEAR" on the front and "THE UNDYING" on the back. Phoenix and Vampire climb into the ring, and Whisper makes his way to the announce table.)
HS: "Oh, great. Here comes Whisper again."
MK: "Wow. I’ve never met him. He seems like a pretty together guy."
HS: "He hates everyone without exception."
MK: "Oh, I’m sure that doesn’t include me. He doesn’t even know me."
(Whisper sits down and puts on a headset.)
HS: "Hey Whisper. Do you hate Mark Keller?"
Whisper: "Of course. He’s an insipid petty man that makes Frank Jackson look worthwhile. Quite a feat I might add."
MK: "Hey!"
HS: "Told you."
Whisper: "Now cease your pathetic ramblings and call this match."
HS: "Glad to. This match is going to start with two people in the ring. Anyone can tag in anyone else. First team to get a pinfall wins the match and gets a shot at the tag titles later on tonight."
MK: "Which will most certainly be La Revolution."
Whisper: "Which just proves my point."
(The ring announcer stands in the center of the ring.)
RA: "There will now be a coin toss to decide who will start the fatal-four way."
(Phoenix takes the mic from the ring announcer.)
Phoenix: "Here. Let me handle this. Yo, Blue Boy. Call it in the air."
(Phoenix flips the coin into the air. Blue’s eyes follow it up into the air, and Phoenix superkicks him in the jaw. The ref gestures for the other wrestlers to go to their corners.)
HS: "Well, that’s one way to decide who starts the match."
Whisper: "The smart way."
(Phoenix mounts Blue and punches him repeatedly in the face, the ref yelling at him for using closed fists. Phoenix threatens the referee with a knuckle sandwich of his own and the ref backs away.)
HS: "What a sanctimonious bully."
Whisper: "Do you even know what that word means?"
HS: "Uhhhhh … of course I do."
MK: "Oh yeah, Merriam Webster? What does it mean?"
HS: "Uhhhh … ummm … Oh! What a dropkick from Phoenix, catching Blue right in the kisser!"
(Phoenix whips Blue into the EUD corner and charges him, but Blue gets an elbow up. Phoenix stumbles away. Blue grabs Phoenix and hits a belly to back suplex. Blue stomps away at Phoenix, picks him up, and his a pain wracking dominator. Blue gets a weird look on his face as Phoenix lays on his back near the ropes. Blue raises his hands in the air and the crowd cheers.)
MK: "Oh god. This isn’t going to be what I think it is, is it?"
HS: "I think it is. S! Q! U! I! D!"
(The crowd joins in with Herb as Blue does five hops and starts doing a worm breakdown dance, slowly, slowly moving towards Phoenix. When he reaches him, Blue points left, points right, jumps high up in the air and completely misses Phoenix, who rolls under the ropes to the apron. Phoenix grabs the top rope and swings through the top and middle ropes to dropkick Blue in the face. Phoenix flips all the way around and lands back on the apron. Blue does a flip of his own, tumbling backwards, holding his face. As he unsteadily gets up, Phoenix springboards off the top rope and hits a hard clothesline, leveling Blue. Phoenix draws his thumb across his throat, signaling the end of the match. Draven Shadows reaches out and slaps Phoenix, tagging himself in.)
Whisper: "That wasn’t smart."
MK: "What are you talking about? It was a brilliant move."
(As Draven walks past a seething Phoenix, Phoenix grabs him by the hair and throws him onto his knee for a Quick Burn. The referee yells at Phoenix, who grudgingly makes his way back to the EUD corner.)
HS: "I’ll have to agree with Whisper this time."
(As Draven holds the back of his head in pain, Blue rolls over to the NPD corner and tags in Bronco T. Bronco T runs at Draven, but the lanky goth kips up and big boots Bronco T in the face. Bronco T gets back up and walks into a powerslam. Bronco T gets up again and Adrien d’Augbine tags himself in. The little Frenchman gets onto the top rope and leaps at Draven for a flying crossbody. But Draven catches him in a fallaway slam position. Draven swings him around and hits a rock bottom type slam.)
HS: "The Goth Stinger! Draven Shadows is on fire."
(Draven picks up Adrien off the mat and hits a backbreaker on the little Frenchman. Draven goes over to his corner and tags in Raven Shadows. Raven picks up Adrien for a German suplex. Draven superkicks Adrien as Raven completes the suplex. He bridges for the pin …1 …2 Adrien kicks out. Raven picks up Adrien and short arm clotheslines him, turning him inside out. Raven jumps into the air and lands a leg drop across Adrien’s throat. Raven chokes Adrien with his boot. The ref warns Raven and give him a four count before Raven lets go. Raven bounces off the ropes and brushes off his shoulder and plants a fist in Adrien’s forehead.)
HS: "Adrien’s in trouble. That was the Five Finger Special!"
MK: "Hey, did he steal that move from the WW-"
HS: "Yes. Hence the name. Now shut up. We can’t talk about that company on air."
(Raven spits on Adrien, drawing a positive reaction from the crowd for disrespecting the French. He picks up Adrien, but the wily Frenchman rakes his eyes and dropkicks him in the knee. Raven goes to one knee and Adrien springboards off the ropes and dropkicks him in the face. Raven gets up slowly and Adrien chokes him from behind. The ref looks and counts to four for him to break the choke. Adrien breaks it by hitting a rear naked choke drop. He picks him up and whips the bigger man into the La Revolution corner. He charges the goth, but Raven moves out of the way and Adrien slams chest first into the corner. Raven stumbles across the ring and blindly tags in Vampire. Vampire looks down at where Raven’s hand hit him and steps over the top rope and smashes Raven with a haymaker. Vampire chokes Raven mercilessly. Phoenix starts yelling at Vampire that Raven isn’t the legal man. Vampire gets up and looks at Phoenix blankly as the referee assists Raven from the ring.
The newly tagged in Jacques A’mer takes advantage of situation and low blows Vampire. He turns around Vampire and lays in with Hammer Time, a series of jabs to the face of Vampire, to no effect really, but since Vampire doesn’t counter, Jacques winds up his patented left hook. But he’s stopped in his tracks by a quick hand applied to Jacques’ throat. With dispassionate ease, Vampire picks him up into the air and hits a one armed chokeslam. Jacques bounces off the mat so hard he lands on his feet, though dazed. Vampire takes the opportunity to lock in a double arm chokehold, lift him into the air, and slam him to the mat, hitting the Vampire Bomb. He rolls over for the pin. …1 …2 …kickout. Vampire goes to pick up Jacques, but gets a couple of punches to the gut. Jacques bounces off the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Vampire ducks, hooks his arms for a reverse pin, and flips him over into a facebuster.)
HS: "False Faith from Vampire. Things aren’t looking good for Jacques."
(Phoenix yells at Vampire. Vampire drags Jacques by his leg to the EUD corner. Phoenix reaches over and tags himself in. Vampire picks up Jacques for a sit out facebuster and Phoenix hits Under Fire for Fire and Brimstone. Phoenix goes for the pin and Adrien runs in to break up the count. Vampire back body drops Adrien. The small man gets so high up into the air that he flips twice. Phoenix rolls off Jacques and lets d’Augbine land square on his cousin. Vampire tosses d’Augbine out of the ring as Phoenix covers again. …1 …2 Big Bad Blue breaks up the count. The ref yells at Blue to get back to his corner. Blue smirks and gets back to his corner. Phoenix gets up in Blue’s face, yelling at him. Blue reaches out and slaps Phoenix. The referee gestures for the legal tag and tells Phoenix to get out of the ring. Phoenix mouths "son of a bitch" and exits the ring.
Jacques meanwhile crawls over to the Gothic Nightmare and tags in Draven Shadows. Blue and Draven meet in the middle of the ring and begin exchanging punches. Blue begins to get the advantage, but Draven suddenly ducks a punch and comes back with several hard chops to Blue’s chest. Blue knees Draven in the gut and whips him into the NPD turnbuckle. Draven nimbly ascends the turnbuckle, pauses at the top to tag in Bronco T, and leaps onto Blue with a beautiful Whisper in the Wind.)
HS: "Wow! How can a man that big do such a high risk move?"
Whisper: "That’s because his bones are hollow. Like his skull. I only know two people who could properly execute that move. And they’re both members of Eternal Undying."
MK: "But what’s going to happen now? Is NPD going to fight each other?"
Whisper: "Why not? It’s been happening since their insipid inception."
(Bronco T and Blue look at each other warily. They prepare to lock up. Suddenly, Bronco T drops to the ground and Big Bad Blue covers him for the pin …1 …2 Phoenix breaks up the count with a boot to Blue’s head.)
MK: "NPD almost stole one! Those cheaters."
(Blue and Bronco get up and go for Phoenix, but Phoenix hops up onto the turnbuckle and hits a Whisper in the Wind of his own, knocking them both down.)
Whisper: "Now that was the proper execution of that move."
(Phoenix grabs Blue by his shirt and drags him to the EUD corner. Phoenix steps onto the apron and tags himself in. He walks up to the recovered Bronco T and the two begin to exchange punches. Bronco kicks Phoenix in the shin. Phoenix just looks in the shin. Bronco spreads his arms and gets in Phoenix’s face. Phoenix yells at him and gets another kick to the shin. And another, Phoenix goes to one knee and Bronco hits Da Kick! Phoenix goes down as a result of the superkick. Bronco pulls him into the center of the ring. He pulls off an armpad and throws it into the crowd which cheers loudly. Bronco horse gallops over to one rope, bounces overdramatically and horse gallops the other way, double foot hopping over Phoenix, bouncing off the opposite just as comically, gallops to Phoenix, rears back (like a bucking bronco) and hits the Bronco Elbow! The crowd goes nuts!)
HS: "Bronco Elbow! Bronco Elbow! It’s over! It’s over! Here’s the pin!"
(…1 Phoenix powers out!)
HS: "How did Phoenix power out of that move after only a one count? That was a devastating maneuver! One could almost say it was electrifying!"
Whisper and MK: (simultaneously) "It was only a friggin’ elbow drop!"
(Bronco stays on Phoenix with kicks to the midsection, backing him up to the ropes. Bronco whips Phoenix to the opposite ropes and comes back with a huge Spear. Phoenix is slow getting up and Bronco bounces off the ropes and hits a hard neckbreaker on him. He goes for the pin, but only nets a two. He picks up Phoenix and locks in a million dollar dream sleeper. Phoenix begins to fade. Bronco begins to force him to the mat. Phoenix suddenly gets a surge of energy and pushes him back up. Elbow to the gut! A second! A third! Phoenix spins around, going for a discus clothesline, but Bronco ducks and catches his arm, ready for the Bronco Bottom. It connects! Phoenix is laid out. Bronco pins for the one! Two! Draven Shadows breaks up the pin! Bronco yells at the goth, but doesn’t waste time trying to lock in a figure four leglock. As he turns around, Phoenix pushes him into the ropes. Bronco bounces off the ropes and hops over Phoenix. Phoenix gets to his feet as Bronco bounces off the opposite ropes and goes for a clothesline. Phoenix ducks and goes for a back drop but turns it into a sidewalk slam for the Firebreaker.
Bronco gets up slowly, in a daze. Phoenix grabs his arm and hops to the top turnbuckle, and backflips, hitting a kick to the back of Bronco’s head. Bronco goes face first into La Revolution’s turnbuckle as Phoenix hits the ground. Pheonix grabs Bronco’s head for a reverse DDT and Jacques A’mer tags himself in. Phoenix swears and lets go of Bronco. Jacques laughs at Phoenix. Phoenix grabs A’mer and flips him over the ropes and neckfirst into his knee for an impromptu Feedback. Phoenix picks him up and begins chaining vertical suplexes together. The referee begins yelling at him to get out of the ring. Raven Shadows comes into join the melee and is met by Vampire. The two begin exchanging punches. Draven Shadows drags Bronco T out of the ring and begins to beat on him. Big Bad Blue goes to help his partner, but Adrien jumps off the apron and jumps onto Blue’s shoulders, knocking him down with the Put-Down.)
HS: "It’s degenerating into chaos out here!"
Whisper: "Common human engagement. Notice how Eternal Undying keeps the most order."
MK: "But they’re brawling just like everyone else!"
Whisper: "Quiet you."
(Inside the ring, Raven ducks a clothesline from Vampire and hooks him up in a reverse full nelson. He lets go, dropping to his rear, and Vampire goes facefirst into the mat with the Final Burden. Draven picks up Bronco and DDTs him on the concrete. Blue backs Adrien up to the announcer’s table and slams his head onto the table and starts pummeling him. Whisper calmly removes his headset, stands up, folds his chair, and slams Blue over the head with it. Adrien pulls himself off the table and gets a chair to the gut. Whisper unfolds the chair and hits a half nelson facebuster onto the steel seat.)
HS: "Hey, ref! Whisper’s getting involved!"
MK: "Damn. This is messier than Dahmer family picnic."
(Whisper grabs another chair and goes to hit Blue, but suddenly changes his mind and tosses him the chair. Blue goes to hit Whisper with the chair, but the shouting of the ref distracts him. The ref climbs out of the ring and yells at Blue for thinking of using a chair. In the meantime, Whisper grabs a third chair and tosses it to Phoenix who is on the top rope after knocking down A’mer with a spinebuster. Phoenix presses the chair to his chest and does a shooting star press onto Jacques, effectively knocking him out. Phoenix rolls off him and out of the ring, clutching his chest and the chair. The crowd starts chanting "HOLY SH!T.")
HS: "That was one of Whisper’s patented moves, The Shooting Star Sacrifice! Oh my god!"
MK: "Whisper is checking on Phoenix now."
HS: "Probably just telling him to get up and stop being weak."
MK: "I think Whisper is a concerned manager."
HS: "Concerned his team won’t be able to finish the match?"
MK: "And win."
(Draven puts a dazed Bronco T stomach first on the barrier, grabs his head, and implant DDTs him on the outside, hitting the Death Wish. Inside the ring, Raven is laying into Vampire with hard shots, but Vampire begins to get up. Draven gets up onto the apron and picks up Raven for a gorilla press and tosses him at Draven. The Shadows brothers fall into a heap on top of their manager Heather.)
HS: "The strength of Vampire is just scary. How inhumane. How dastardly. How-"
Whisper: (sitting back down) "Perfect."
MK: "Exactly what I was thinking."
Whisper: "Silence yourself or I will silence you."
(Vampire looks down at where Phoenix is sitting by the announcers table, holding his gut. Phoenix yells something to the giant. Vampire pulls Jacques over to the EUD corner, goes to the apron, tags the limp Frenchman, and re-enters the ring. Blue, recovered from Whisper’s chairshots, throws Bronco back into the ring and tags himself in. Blue charges Vampire and gets a spinning back elbow for his trouble. He gets back up and Vampire shows his strength with a tilt-a-whirl chokeslam. He goes for the pin …1 …2 Blue kicks out!)
HS: "Looks like it’s just down to Vampire and Big Blue. They’re the only ones left standing!"
(Vampire grabs Blue and sets him up for the Undying. Big Blue back drops Vampire. Vampire gets to his feet and Blue slings him over his shoulder and hits a Death Valley Driver. Blue bounces off the ropes, hops, and double foot stomps Vampire’s chest. Vampire slowly gets to his feet and Blue kicks him in the gut. Vampire leans forward, and with some effort, Big Blue sets Vampire up for a powerbomb. Big Blue hooks his arms under each of Vampire’s. Big Blue strains and stumbles a bit, but lifts Vampire up for a powerful tiger driver!)
HS: "Blue Equalizer! It could be over!"
MK: "That wasn’t the Blue Equalizer, that was the Blue Stop!"
Whisper: "That move is called the Blue Doomsday. Don’t you two have this information in front of you?"
HS: "That move might be the end of Vampire!"
Whisper: "Nonsense"
(Adrien D’Augbine climbs onto his corner apron with Jacques A’Mer and looks longingly down at the fallen Vampire, wishing he could tag. Draven and Raven are still recovering and checking on the injured Heather. Bronco T is slumped on his turnbuckle. Phoenix is still sitting against the announcers table. Big Blue moves over and covers Vampire. …..1 ……2 …… The referee stops just before three and makes the legal tag symbol. Big Blue stands up and look at the still extended hand of Jacques A’Mer that reached out and tagged the back of Blue. )
HS: "Jacques A’Mer makes a reach and saves the match by tagging himself in!"
MK: "That’s Canadian ingenuity for you."
(Blue angrily swings around for a shot to the side of A’Mer’s head. D’Augbine reaches up and blocks the shot for his cousin. Blue does a double take and takes a shot at Adrien, but the punch is blocked by Jacques A’Mer.)
MK: "Amazing teamwork by the frenchmen."
(Adrien and A’Mer both lean back and double-head-butt Blue. The referee begins yelling at Blue to get out of the ring. A’Mer climbs through the ropes and grabs Blue. The Hammer scoops Blue up onto the turnbuckle and locks in a tree of woe. The referee tells A’mer to step away and angrily tries to untie Blue. A’Mer raises his hands and backs away. D’Augbine hops into the ring, wiping blood from his eyes. He darts to the opposite corner, nails Bronco T. Vampire gets to his hands and knees. The referee turns to yell at Adrien, but quickly moves… D’Augbine takes the opportunity to run in, jump off of Vampire, and dropkick Blue in the gut!)
MK: "Even better! Abore De Familia… sort of."
(A’Mer moves in on Vampire, kicking him firmly in the head. Vampire rolls over. A’Mer grabs his legs and holds them up. The referee is escorting Big Blue to his corner, and misses the elbow drop from Adrien D’Augbine to the lower areas of Vampire. Vampire clutches himself. A’Mer drops down and hooks a leg!)

HS: "Une!"

MK: "Deux!"

MK: "Trois!?"
HS: "No! Phoenix out of nowhere saves the match!"
(A replay shows the referee just barely missing the three as Phoenix dives trough the ropes with a double axe handle, breaking the count. The shot goes back to the action in the ring. Adrien is slumped over his corner. Draven and Raven have made their way to the apron. Blue is in his corner barely holding himself up. The crowd is cheering wildly at this point. Phoenix is dragging Vampire across the ring with a pained look on his face. He sits Vampire in the corner, climbs to his apron, and tags Vampire. The referee acknowledges the tag. A’Mer quickly moves in on Phoenix with a spinning wheel kick, nailing Phoenix in the head. Both men go down. A’mer gets up and pulls Phoenix up as well. A’mer attempts an Irish Whip into the opposite ropes, but Phoenix reverses A’mer bounces back into a stiff kick from Phoenix. Phoenix locks A’Mer by the head an sets up for his finisher.)
Whisper: "Eternity is at hand."
(Phoenix lifts A’Mer, but A’Mer slides down behind Phoenix and tags Adrien. Phoenix turns around and gets a knee to the lower midsection. The referee begins counting A’Mer. Adrien begins to climb the turnbuckle. A’Mer lifts up Phoenix and hits a Jacques hammer! Whisper gets up from the announcer’s table and yells something at Vampire.)
MK: "This could be it!"
HS: "It’s Two La Jet time!"
(Adrien reaches the top. Jacques stands up to stop the advancing Vampire. Vampire spears Jacques into Draven and Raven. Adrien doesn’t seem to notice and finally stands up, ready to hit Viva La France! Adrien flies off!!)
MK: "OH."
HS: "MY!"
(SMACK! Vampire almost takes the head off of Augbine with a savat kick, taking the Frenchman out of mid-air! Adrien clatters down hitting the ropes first and then bounces to the mat near Phoenix. Vampire falls over and rolls outside. The referee looks around. Blue tries to enter the match, but the referee sends him back to his corner. Vampire reaches in the ring and pulls Phoenix’s arm over Adrien. Blue angrily turns around and heads back to his corner. The referee notices the cover. ….1 …..2 ….3!! Big Blue runs up to the cover and throws his hands into the air angrily as he barely misses the break.)
HS: "It’s over!"
MK: "Part of me wants to complain, but part of me is glad the NPD lost. I guess they punked down after all."
HS: "Oh, shut up."
("Lies" begins to play. Vampire pulls Phoenix out. With Whisper’s help, the three men make their way up the ramp. The crowd boos angrily as Bronco T and Big Blue stand in the ring, annoyed at the outcome of the match. Gothic Nightmare picks up Heather and makes their way out as well. Adrien D’Augbine is unconscious in the ring. Jacques A’Mer climbs up to check on his partner. Just as Gothic Nightmare make it up the long ramp of Tropicana Field, Alan Lake comes out with a chair and nails both, Raven and Draven Shadows, right across the head. He then picks up Draven and hits the Lake Effect.)
HS: "Man, these two really have an issue going!"
MK: "Second time tonight they have a confrontation without actually having a match."
(Lake yells at Draven as officials are coming out from the back. Half of them force Lake to the back while the other half takes care of the exhausted members of Gothic Nightmare. The scene cuts to a commercial for the Vortex DVD before we return to the stadium.)
LP: "Welcome fans to the first match on the Xplosion side of things and it’s going to be great."
FJ: "How can you say that? It’s Brute versus some Tikiman!"
LP: "Well, I personally like Brute, and I want to give this Eviltikiman character a shot."
("Chop Suey" by System of a Down plays over the PA system. During the intro of the song 8 Tiki torches, 4 on each side of the entrance, slowly rise out of the platform. When the song says "Wake up" the torches are set aflame from seemingly nothing. After the lyrics begin the megatron begins showing scenes from The Eviltikiman’s career. Whenever the song reaches a fast part the images blur past in sync with the song. During the pauses it usually has him in a strong pose. When the song hits "When angels deserve to die" The Eviltikiman bursts out onto the stage and taunts to the crowd. He runs down to the ring and show boats inside it jumping on 3 of the ring posts to showboat and then waits for his opponent. )
LP: "And here comes Brute."
("It's Not Easy Being Green" by Kermit the Frog hits and Brute dances his way out of the back as Pink and Yellow lights flash everywhere to a huge comeback pop by the fans. Brute looks at Eviltikiman with a huge smile as the bell rings. The two men meet in the middle of the ring and exchange some words. Brute turns as if he is going to go back to his corner but then swings back and locks the Iron Claw on Eviltikiman to get things rolling.)
LP: "Whoa, surprise attack there by Brute."
FJ: "Yeah, Tiki didn’t see that one coming."
(Eviltikiman recovers quickly by kicking Brute in the stomach. Eviltikiman goes into the ropes and tries to hit a clothesline, but Brute counters with a massive Body Avalanche that sends Eviltikiman to the mat. Brute can be heard yelling "Who’s The Man" to the crowd as Eviltikiman tries to regain his footing in hopes of gaining some momentum. He reaches his feet and tries to knock Brute over with lefts and rights, but the punches aren’t phasing the big man. Brute reels back and kicks Eviltikiman in the shin! Eviltikiman falls to the mat in pain.)
LP: "Ouch, that was unorthodox."
(Brute looks like he is going to go for a leg drop on the fallen Eviltikiman but then he stops suddenly and exits the ring with a perplexed look on his face. On the floor we see that Brute has spotted an eighty or so year old man holding up a pink sign that says "#1 Brute Cake." Brute makes a gesture as if to say "Me?" then he walks over and hugs the old man rather tightly forcing him to drop the sign. Brute then picks up the sign and starts dancing (In an HBK fashion.) with it, as the crowd erupts with cheers and laughs. Brute then turns to get back in the ring and is met with a baseball slide by Eviltikiman that sends him to the floor. Eviltikiman follows to the floor.)
LP: "Brute spent a little to much time with that old man."
FJ : (sigh.)
(Eviltikiman starts hitting the downed Brute then taunts to the crowd who is mad that he is beating up their hero. Brute gets back to his feet and tries to hit a monkey flip, but Eviltikiman can’t support hid weight and he falls on his back with Brute atop him.)
LP: "That’s not how the move was designed, but it seemed effective."
(Brute gets back in the ring and the ref begins the ten count. 1….2….3…..4…5….6 Eviltikiman is on his feet but dazed. Brute gets a strange look in his eyes and it looks like he is going to try the Plancha!)
FJ: "What an idiot, he’ll never make it."
(Brute tries to sling shot himself over the ropes but his whole body gets caught in the ropes and he falls head and neck first on to the apron, then lays motionless on the floor. Eviltikiman takes the opportunity to roll Brute back in under the bottom rope and go for a pin. 1….2.. Brute gets the shoulder up. Eviltikiman whips Brute into the ropes and hits a drop kick. He again goes for a cover. 1…2… Brute once again gets the shoulder up. Eviltikiman picks up Brute and goes for a bull dog but Brute is able to push Eviltikiman off of him and into the corner. Eviltikiman walks backwards back at Brute and Brute hits a hard clothesline to the back of the head.)
LP: "Things are really starting to heat up here. What’s this?"
(Brute has once again left the ring, this time he walks up the ramp and back stage. We cut back to a shot of the ref. 1….2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9…10. The ref raises Eviltikiman’s hand in victory.)
LP: "What was that all about?"
FJ: "I don’t know, that was strange, even for Brute."
(We cut to a shot backstage were we see Brute walking with a towel that he is using to whipe his face. Fish shows up to a roar from the crowd and talks in a worried voice.)
Fish: "What are you doing dude?"
Brute: "What do you mean?"
Fish: "What do I mean? You just walked out on your match!"
Brute: "No way, wasn’t the match over?"
Fish: "No, it just started."
Brute: "Whoopsie daisies, I thought I won."
(Fish put his arm around Brute and they start to walk away as we can hear Fish explaining what happened in the match to Brute.)
HS: "What was this?"
MK: "A 'match' presented by Xplosion..."
HS: "I guess so."
MK: "Well, this next match is going to be excellent, Herb. I can’t wait"
HS: "I wonder why that would be?"
MK: "because of the fine talent that both these FINE AWA diva’s have. Why else?"
HS: "Yeah, I’m sure"
MK: "Ok…so you’re right. I want to see…PUPPIES!!"
HS: "Mark, you’re just like Frank. You should be ashamed of yourself. Both Louise and Julie have an excellent wrestling pedigree. Louise was a Women’s Champion before she entered the AWA over four years ago, not to mention a former AWA Women’s Champion…and Julie Williams has been recently trained by none other than the same man that taught her husband and current AWA United States Champion, John Williams"
MK: "Ok, so they’re both excellent wrestlers, but wrestling might have nothing to do with this contest when that leather strap comes into play"
HS: "You might be right there, Mark. Emotions are running high between these too ladies after Julie took exception to some of Louise’s comments a couple of weeks ago"
MK: "…and not only was a match signed between these two, but also the match was made into a Leather Strap on a Pole Match"
HS: "…and comes the first competitor!"
MK: "Ohhhhh wow!!"
HS: "Close your mouth, Mark. You’ll catch flies"
("That Don’t Impress Me Much" strikes up over the PA System and the gorgeous "Lethal" Louise appears on the ramp way amidst the booing accompanied with a few cat-calls in the arena. She flashes a sweet and innocent smiles towards the nearest fans, before casually walking towards the ring and climbing in through the middle ropes, giving the arena a "sneak peak" of her shapely and toned thighs through her white and light blue jacket. She peels the jacket off, much to the delight of the crowd, revealing her short, white bra and short…shorts and her white leather calve-high boots…)
MK: "Wow. I think I’m in love!"
HS: "I think you might find she’s taken for"
(The wolf-whistles for Louise are quickly drowned out as "Renegade hero" By Forever and a Day strikes up and the delightful, Julie Williams appears on the ramp way, wearing a black and blue Halter Top with matching black and blue tight shorts. The volume of the crowd’s wolf-whistles grow louder as they give Julie a great reception!)
MK: "No question as to who’s side the crowd are on tonight"
HS: "but I think Julie doesn’t want to wait another second before she gets her hands on Louise"
(Herb’s call is right as Julie darts towards the ring, diving in under the bottom rope as Louise makes a quick exit under the bottom rope at the back of the ring)
HS: "It seems as though Louise doesn’t want a single part of Julie in that ring!"
MK: "That’s not the case at all, Herb. She’s a true pro and is just biding her time"
(Louise seductively sways her body from side to side, taunting the fans and a small section of the front row start to cheer for her, but as she turns around she is met with two feet flush into her face as Julie executes a Baseball slide. Louise crashes to the floor clutches her face)
HS: "That wasn’t very pro-like"
(Julie grabs hold of Louise by her long hair and throws her back into the ring, before following her back in and stomping on the back of her head for good measure. Louise angrily gets to her feet, but is met with a kick to her stomach and a Neck Breaker that takes her back to the mat. Once again Louise gets back to her feet, but this time Julie grabs another handful of hair, swinging Louise around in a half circle, before unceremoniously dumping her back down to the mat with a throw. Julie doesn’t give Louise time to gain her breathe back and Julie has her quickly to her feet once more, an Irish Whip into the far corner turnbuckle has Louise reeling, before a Clothesline into the corner leads to an attempted pinfall, which Louise kicks out of at two)
HS: "Julie has started this match-up at pace and is really showing Louise a thing or two"
(Julie pulls Louise to her feet once more by her hair as Louise screams at her, but Irish Whips her into the ropes this time, Louise rebounds and is met in the centre of the ring by the waiting Julie and a well executed Sleeperhold)
HS: "Julie is looking to wear Louise down and put her to sleep with that hold!"
(but before Julie can really get the hold locked in tightly, Louise grabs hold of the top of Julie’s head, dropping down to the mat in a seated position and delivering a Jawbreaker to Julie)
MK: "Ouch. That’s got to knock some teeth out. Anyone know a dentist?"
(Louise shakes the cobwebs from her head as Julie gets to her knees, but Julie is met with a resounding slap right across the cheek, which the crowd react to. Louise rears back her right hand and connects with another slap…and another. The third of which sends Julie sprawling)
MK: "I think Louise has just about had enough and this is where we see exactly who the "Princess of the AWA" is, Herb?"
HS: "I wouldn’t like to argue with either of them at the moment. Look at the scowl on Julie’s face"
(Louise is quickly on the offensive, a knee to Julie’s midsection doubles her over, before Louise sends her to the mat with a Snap Suplex. Julie arches her back on impact, but Louise is on her in a flash, as she turns her over and applies a Reverse Chinlock. Julie screams out in pain as Louise cranks back, but Julie shakes her head as the ref asks her if "she gives". She fights away the obvious pain and tries to power her way out of the hold. Louise eventually releases her grip, but not before a stomp to the small of Julie’s back for good measure. However, Julie has no time to recover as Louise fires her across the ring, delivering a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker as she returns)
MK: "Louise is starting to wear Julie down now. Her added experience starting to show through…and she’s going for the turnbuckle!!"
(Louise makes her way towards the corner and starts to climb towards the turnbuckle with the leather strap attached to a pole as Julie recovers in the centre of the ring. She gives the strap a couple of tugs before it comes away at the third tug)
MK: "She got the belt, Herb…and she’s now going to make Julie pay"
(Louise approaches Julie in the centre of the ring, stalking her opponent, she rears back with her right hand, striking Julie on the small of the back…and again…and again!!)
MK: "She’s whipping Julie into submission here. She looks like she’s done this before"
HS: "I wondered why Dave Santini’s been out for the last month, perhaps she’s been practising..oops, did I just say that?"
MK: "I hope for your sake that Dave Santini’s isn’t listening!"
(The camera zooms in and focuses on the red marks starting to appear on Julie’s back as Louise raises her right hand once more, but as it comes down, Julie dives out of the way. Another shot, missed again and again, again she misses. Julie is now to her feet as Louise attempts to continue to whip her opponent, but Julie avoids each shot, before hitting the ropes and connecting with a Dropkick to the face of Louise, Louise is staggered backwards as Julie now goes on the offensive with a raised knee to Louise’s midsection, before dropping her to the floor with an Implant DDT)
HS: "Wow. Fantastic DDT by Julie. That’s one of the best DDT’s I’ve seen in a long time and I think Louise is out cold"
(Louise has dropped the strap as Julie goes for a cover, but before hooking her look she pauses, looks down at Louise and instead of pinning her she picks up the leather strap herself…)
HS: "Julie doesn’t want to win the match. She wants to give Louise a good WHIPPING instead"
(Julie rolls the dazed Louise over onto her stomach and starts to strike the strap across the back of Louise’s exposed legs. Each strike causes Louise to yelp out in pain. The crowd, getting behind Julie counts with her as she lashes away at the back and legs of Louise…1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9!)
HS: "The crowd are really getting into this"
(Julie strikes the back of Louise’s legs for the tenth time, before raising Louise to her feet and sending her towards the turnbuckle. Julie approaches once more, holding the strap menacingly in her right hand, before lashing out, aiming the strap at the chest of Louise, but Louise manages to duck, causing the strap to entwine itself around the turnbuckle itself and unknown to the ref, Louise drops Julie to the mat with a cruel lowblow)
HS: "Ouch. Louise connected that lowblow with the point of her leather boots. It’s a good job Julie doesn’t have any manly functions down there"
(Julie crumbles to the floor as Louise starts to climb the turnbuckle. She gets to the top rope as Julie starts to stir…)
MK: "I think Louise is going for the Shooting Star Press, Herb"
(…but before she can connect, Julie kicks out at the ropes, causing Louise to lose her footing. Julie follows her up on the turnbuckle, regaining her possession of the leather strap as she does as Louise attempts to regain her footing, but as she looks back at Julie’s position, she is shocked to find her right behind her on the turnbuckle and even more shocked when Julie wraps the leather strap around her neck and starts to throttle her)
MK: "Stop it. She’s trying to strangle her. Ring the bell"
(Louise struggles, grasping at the strap as it tightens and in one last desperation move, she manages to lowblow Julie once again, before twisting around and somehow managing to deliver a Top Rope Hurricanrana on to the unforgiving hard flooring on the outside of the ring. Both ladies landing hard in a very uncomfortable manner)
MK: "Oh myyyyyy…"
HS: "This is carnage, Mark. A catfight ‘til the end"
(Both ladies lie motionless as the ref starts the count…1...2...3...4...5...6...7)
(Julie starts to stir as the ref continues…8...9...Louise staggers to her feet, but both ladies collapse to the floor at the same time as the ref counts 10!!)
MK: "Oh nooo. A Double KO. Both ladies were unable to answer the ten count and this match is declared as a draw"
HS: "It may have been a draw tonight Mark, but I’m sure we haven’t heard the last of these two AWA divas"
(We cut to a commercial for the AWA Divas In Mexico DVD, due out next week. We are back with the 50.000 fans in Tropicana Field and "Loose" by Primier 55 hits over the P.A. and the crowd looks confused as they try to figure out who this could be. The lights dim and a burst of pyro goes off at the entrance way leaving a man shrouded in smoke. A familiar voice overlays the music, "Insane in the brain!" And Joshua Carpenter jumps from the gray cloud, blowing smoke out of his nose. He has on a black T-Shirt with a white question mark, tan kahki pants, and short cropped hair. He bounces towards the ring, spinning to look at the crowd and occasionally yelling "WooooOOOOooo" into the mic in his left hand. On the ring apron he tosses the mic into the ring and uses to the ropes to flip head first into the ring. His feet hit the canvas and he rolls into a summersault and picks up the mic.)
Carpenter: "Hahahahaha Woooo!"
(The crowd automaticly 'woos' back.)
Carpenter: "Hello AWA, how the hell have ya been? Me? I've been doing just fine... better than fine... hahaha I don't even know where I've been for the past few weeks!"
(Joshua's movements are gittery and he can't seem to stand still.)
Carpenter: "One thing I do know though, is I had an epiphany: Life is short, so enjoy it! Everyone goes around worrying about stuff... I was the worst of all, but not anymore! Now I'm free from worldsome worry and have a clearer mind. Hahaha. Woo! I'm back in the AWA to gain the World title. I realize I'm a branded star of the Xplosion faction, but I would be more than willing to drive over to Shock to take the title. Take the throne as king of wrestling. I deserve it, you know. Hahaha."
(Joshua runs to his left, bounces off the ropes and hits a summersault splash on an invisible opponent. The crowd responds with 'Wooo'. Back on his feet Josh runs to the nearest corner post and jumps to the second rope.)
FJ: "The guy is nuts!"
LP: "Well, or maybe hs is just excited to stand in front of almost 50.000 people."
FJ: "No, he's nuts."
Carpenter: "I know I'll have to start all over on my road to the top and it seems there is more talent here than when I left. But that's no problem for me. I'm the greatest that ever lived! Haha. I challenge ANYONE with a title! Hell, I'll even fight the tag team champions one-on-three! I want GOLD in the AWA. I have made a name for myself here, haha. I have competed in great matches, but gold ever eludes me. Haha not anymore, I'm not gonna wait for it to come to me! I'm going to go to it! haha!"
(The crowd looks stunned as Joshua lets out a primal scream and dives over the ropes. His hands hold tight to the top rope and he swings around and lands hard on his rear on the apron. He bounces up and with an open handed gesture to the crowd bolts up the ramp and out of sight.)
FJ: "What was that?"
LP: "Well, Joshua Carpenter issued an open challenge to any and all Champions in the AWA. It'll be interesting to see what Champion, if any, will answer to the challenge."
FJ: "It'll be interesting to see how long it takes until the men with the white coats inject something to make Carpenter normal."
( In the ring Steve Dallas is warmin up on the ropes and awaiting the arrival of his opponent. "Big Poppa," by the Notorious B.I.G. begins to play and "Epitome of Physical Fitness," flashes on the AWAtron. "Big Poppa" continues to play as Poppa, who has his AWA Street Fight Title over his right shoulder, comes out onto the entrance ramp with Tiffany by his side. Loud, bright flashes of pryo go off on either side of the stage as Poppa and Tiffany begin to walk down towards the ring. He has his newly aquired AWA Street Fight title on his shoulder and he hands it to Tiffany as he jumps up on the apron and Steve Dallas goes for a huge charging right hand but Poppa blocks it and delivers a hangman over the ropes.)
LP: Definately not the way to start off a match with Poppa.
FJ: Dallas just got his neck wrenched on that one. Poppa always has the early advantage cause he's such a bahemuth, i love the guy.
LP: We hear it every week Frank, every week. we know about his size and ability, just poor Steve Dallas.
(Poppa slowly gets into the ring and Dallas is getting up from the opening move he recieved and charges at Poppa again with a clothesline but he stands there like a wall and budges some then gets his head taken off by a Poppa clothesline.)
LP: Good lord Poppa may have decapitated him just now.
FJ: Just think about what he'd be like in a Street Fight match for that title.
LP: That would be a massacre.
( Poppa drops an elbow on Steve then pummels him in the face with multiple punches and gets up as Steve rolsl on the ground to reach his feet slowly. Poppa kicks him hard in the stomach like he was punting a football then grabs him by the head and whips him into the ropes. delivering a powerslam. He goes for the cover but only gets a two count. Poppa looks shocked.)
LP: Thats incredible Steve Dallas actually wants to put up a fight here.
FJ: Poppa is just going to have to hunt is prey and beat him down harder then.
LP: Those are frightening words Frank.
FJ: Even more scary to see it done.
( Steve Dallas is getting picked up again, however he delivers a punch, then another punch to the gut of Poppa. He hits a hard elbow then an uppercut and hits the ropes and delivers and dropkick to the knee that sends him down on it. Steve punches him with a left and a right then a kick to the gut. He runs to the ropes but gets caught by a large hand around his neck for a choke.)
LP: Steve isn't going anywhere now, he desperately needs to fight out of this.
FJ: Poppa is huge, i dunno how he'll be able to.
(Somehow Dallas kicks and pummels his way out of the choke and hits the Texas Speedbump stunner out of no where! BUt Poppa just lands on his chin and backs up a bit and Dallas looks shcoked. Poppa shakes off the cobwebs as Dallas has ascened to the ropes and dives off but gets caught in the arms of Poppa who tosses him back and into the Big-Up and crashes down with it.)
LP: It's over, dallas almost pulled it out to.
FJ: Watchin the same match i was?
LP: He came back at the end
FJ: Poppa is victorious once again.

(We cut to a promotional video... "Coming soon to a theater near you, "It's not easy", staring Big Bad Blue as Jaurock. The story is about a man's hard struggle through life. Dealing with growing up in south central LA, he has been shot five times by "the bloods" in the area. While recovering he is plotting his revenge. He is joined by such stars as Snoop Dogg, and a cameo by Eminem. Also starring is Miki Phifer. This movie will be hitting theaters world wide April 8, 2004.)
FJ: "Interesting, to say the least. Why the hell do they place this here? I mean, this portion is presented by AWA Xplosion, not that other show."
LP: "Yeah, I don't understand it either. Maybe to rub it into face of the challenger in the upcoming match for the AWA Cruiserweight title."
FJ: "And this next match features two superstars exclusive to Xplosion and one of them is the AWA Cruiserweight Champion, BlackJack and the other is Blueprint member and number one contender to the Cruiserweight Title, Rawstarr."
LP: "Yeah, and inside the ring right now they are setting up the steel cage that will enclose both wrestlers and enclose this bitter feud. One man will walk out of the steel cage the winner and AWA Cruiserweight Champion. But will this brutal, sadistic cage hold the key to end this feud?"
FJ: "I don’t know, Larry, but it looks like they have finished setting up the steel cage. This match is going to be great. Look at that structure. Those idiots over on Shock don’t put together great matches like this."
LP: "And here comes the challenger . . . "
("You Wrong For That" begins to play by Click Clack and Rawstarr appears on the entrance ramp with Ms. Rawness at his side. Rawstarr is wearing black shorts, a black leg brace, black boots with royal blue stripes, and a black shirt. He begins to
walk backwards for a second to show what it says. The shirt reads, "THE PRINT THAT STAYS BLUE - BLUEPRINT." Rawstarr turns back around and walks up to the steel cage. He climbs each rung of the cage and hops over the top. He then climbs down the rungs to the ring.)
LP: "Doesn’t Rawstarr know that there is a door to the cage?"
FJ: "I’m sure he knows. Leave him alone. Since Rawstarr has joined The Blueprint it turns out he’s not that bad of a guy. He’s left the NPD in the dust."
LP: "In the dust and on an inferior show..."
(Booker T and the MG's "Green Onions" hits and BlackJack, wearing dark blue jeans and black kneepads over them, appears on the rampway and as the guitar chimes in, pyros shoot up from each side of the ramp all the way down, at every chime of the guitar 4-8 times, as he makes his way down and climbs into the ring going to the middle of the ring and raising his arms out and up then tosses off his Leather Jacket. He hands the AWA Cruiserweight Title to the referee and Rawstarr and BlackJack meet in the center of the ring and steel cage.)
LP: "Here we go. You can cut the tension with a knife. Who’s going to throw the first punch?"
(Both men are nearly the same height, but the larger BlackJack shoves Rawstarr down to the mat. Rawstarr springs up and BlackJack gives him a hip toss down to the mat. Rawstarr reaches at his back and gets up. He is met by a dropkick to the head. BlackJack picks Rawstarr up quickly and slams his head into the steel cage.)
FJ: "Ouch!"
LP: "BlackJack on the early offense and already using the cage to his advantage. Rawstarr is holding his face and squirming in pain."
FJ: "Yeah, that cheap shot by BlackJack has him in a lot of pain."
LP: "Cheap shot? This is a steel cage match, Frank."
FJ: "I know. It’s still cheap."
(BlackJack once again picks Rawstarr off the mat and the angered number one contender begins to punch the champion. He punches him several times in the stomach and then grabs BlackJack by the head with his left hand and lands several more right fists to his head. Blackjack backs up with each blow. Rawstarr then gives BlackJack a knife edge chop to the chest. BlackJack falls back into a ring corner and Rawstarr gives him another knife edge chop to the chest. BlackJack grabs Rawstarr and throws him into the corner.)
LP: "The roles have been reversed!"
(BlackJack hurriedly delivers a knife edge chop of his own to the chest of Rawstarr and then another and another. Rawstarr grabs his chest. BlackJack then kicks Rawstarr in the stomach and Rawstarr creeps off of the corner. BlackJack grabs him and delivers a release Northern Lights suplex. Rawstarr bounces off the mat from the impact and BlackJack begins to climb up the steel cage.)
LP: "Here we go. He’s going for the win."
FJ: "Get up, Rawstarr! Get up!"
(BlackJack gets half way up the cage and Rawstarr notices his escape. Rawstarr gets up off the mat and runs over to him. Rawstarr grabs his leg, and BlackJack tries to kick at Rawstarr. Rawstarr dodges the kicks and uses BlackJack’s body to climb up the steel cage after him as BlackJack continues to knock Rawstarr down.)
LP: "Both men are trying to escape now."
(Rawstarr pulls even with BlackJack and wraps his arms around the waist of the AWA Cruiserweight Champion. Both men are nearly at the top of the cage as Rawstarr leaps off the cage with BlackJack in his arms. He delivers an amazing belly to back suplex from the top of the cage to the mat. The crowd goes nuts at the impact and both men lay motionless on the mat.)
LP: "What a move!"
FJ: "Wow! That took a lot out of both men!!"
LP: "Neither man is stirring."
(Rawstarr is the first to move as he uses BlackJack’s body to help himself up. Rawstarr pulls himself up and begins to climb up the cage himself. He reaches at his back though once he gets about halfway.)
LP: "I don’t think he has enough in him to make it up to the top."
(Rawstarr falls off of the cage and lands an elbow drop onto the chest of BlackJack.)
FJ: "I guess he wasn’t going up to the top, but that move hurt him as well."
(Once again, both men are on the mat, but this time they get up around the same time. Both men groggily meet in the center of the ring and tie up in a hold. The larger BlackJack gains the advantage and grabs the head of Rawstarr and once again slams it into the steel cage. Rawstarr bounces back and BlackJack grabs him again and throws him against the steel cage. Rawstarr hits the steel cage this time with his entire body and folds over the ring ropes after the impact. BlackJack hits the opposite ring ropes and runs towards Rawstarr as he crawls out of the ropes. BlackJack nails him with a dropkick to the face and blood spews out of Rawstarr’s head.)
LP: "Oohhh! Rawstarr has been opened up and badly. Look at the blood on his face already."
FJ: "That can’t be good for him."
(BlackJack picks up the bleeding Rawstarr and gives him a side suplex. He looks down at Rawstarr on the mat next to him before getting up off the mat after that side suplex and nods in approval.)
LP: "BlackJack is looking to end this feud tonight."
(BlackJack picks Rawstarr up, but is unexpectedly met with a low blow. Rawstarr gives him another quick low blow and BlackJack falls to the mat. Rawstarr gets up and gives BlackJack a leg drop. He then sits on top of the chest of BlackJack and begins to punch rapidly with both lefts and rights at the head of BlackJack. BlackJack tries to dodge the punches, but Rawstarr lands several. BlackJack finally shoves Rawstarr off of him and gets up off the mat. The two of them begin to exchange lefts and rights.)
FJ: "Here we go. Now it’s getting good."
LP: "It’s turning into an all-out slugfest now!"
(BlackJack gains the advantage and punches the bloody face of Rawstarr with hard right fists. Rawstarr finally falls to the mat after a huge right punch from BlackJack. Rawstarr lays on the mat a blood begins to pool on the mat from his split open face. BlackJack begins to climb up the steel cage and makes good progress up the cage before Rawstarr notices him. BlackJack makes it all the way to the top and even climbs on to the top rung. He turns around and faces Rawstarr, as Rawstarr struggles to get up. He uses all he can muster and turns over so that he is on his back in the center of the ring.)
FJ: "No!!!"
LP: "Rawstarr has nothing left and BlackJack is just looking at him from the top of the cage. He has this one won, but what is he waiting for."
(BlackJack hasn’t begun his descent to the arena floor. He still just stares at the fallen Rawstarr, and the crowd begins to cheer loudly as they realize at what he is thinking. BlackJack springs off of the top of the cage and delivers a HUGE frogsplash onto Rawstarr! BlackJack grabs at his ribs after the impact and Rawstarr turns over onto this stomach in pain. BlackJack uses the ropes to help himself up and begins to scale the steel cage once again.)
LP: "What an insane maneuver!"
FJ: "Yes, but it seems as if the risk has paid off! Rawstarr isn't moving and BlackJack is making his way up the cage!"
(Almost 50.000 fans are cheering as BlackJack is now at the top of the cage again. Rawstarr is slowly moving, but BlackJack makes it over the cage. Rawstarr can only crawl and look on as BlackJack drops from the cage and onto the arena mats. BlackJack retains.)
LP: "Listen to these fans! What an intense win! BlackJack has retained the AWA Cruiserweight title and won a hard-fought match against Rawstarr. What an encounter!"
FJ: "It’s an injustice! Wait, what’s this?"
(A weary BlackJack is met by a running Adriano Montana. Montana punches him several times and BlackJack falls onto the entrance ramp. Montana stomps at the downed BlackJack, and then picks up the AWA Cruiserweight title. Montana looks at the title and nods. He drops the title on the chest of BlackJack and then walks off.)
LP: "What was that all about?"
FJ: "This man, Adriano Montana, is a new addition to the Xplosion roster. And as far as I'm concerned, Larry, he just gave BlackJack what he deserved!"
LP: "Well, I'm sure we will learn more about this guy on Xplosion. Anyway, we will go to our Shock colleagues now, Mark, Herb?"
MK: "Thank you, Larry. Now, earlier this evening four teams stepped into the ring to decide who was worthy of a Tag Team title shot against the not-so-talented duo of John Williams and The Assassin. Eternal Undying fought a bloody, painful war to win this shot tonight."
HS: "Eternal Undying used underhanded methods. I think The NPD should be here right now, showing Williams and the Assassin a thing or two."
MK: "What my colleague refers to as 'underhanded methods' were the team strategies employed by the members of Eternal Undying."
HS: "Along with Whisper."
MK: "Whisper's a member of Eternal Undying."
HS: "You're despicable. Whisper got involved several times, one of which you see right here..."
(A replay of the match earlier in the night in shown. Adrien D'Augbine is grabbed by Whisper, and dropped face-first onto the chair by Whisper's half-nelson facebuster.)
HS: "Brutal... inhumane..."
MK: "Good televison. E-U-D picked up the victory after this stunning kick from Vampire, finally taking down Adrien D'Augbine."
(Another replay is shown of Adrien D'Augbine flying off the top for Viva La France, and getting Savat kicked out of his skin by
Vampire. The shot fades to the referee counting ....2 ....3 and the bell ringing. The shot goes back to the arena, which has been
washed in blue light. The members of Eternal Undying come out to the sounds of "Lies" by Evanescence. They look much like they did
earlier. Whisper has shed the leather suit in favor of white sweatpants and a white hooded sweatshirt. Phoenix has fresh tape on his
hands. Vampire has the same non-expressive face as earlier, his chains draped over him in the same fashion as always. Both men have lost their shirts from earlier. With the exception of Vampire (who oddly enough, took the most punishment) all three men look a little worn.)
MK: "This match's scales are drastically tipped towards John Williams and The Assassin. Look at EUD... they're beaten."
HS: "Well, it's about damn time the good guys get the advantage!"
(The word ICON flashes across the big screen as Forever and a Day rocks the arena. The crowd pops loudly to the sounds of "Renegade Hero" and the arrival of John Williams, followed by the mysterious man who is the Assassin. They reach the ring. The Assassin simply goes to his corner. Williams takes the time to cheer for the fans.)
(The Members of Eternal Undying are having a conference as the referee approaches. The referee says something to Whisper. Whisper appears to return with a snide comment. The referee points at Whisper and overdramatically points to the ramp mouthing the words "You're Outta Here!!" Whisper shakes his head violently and angrily yells at the referee. The referee points around and mouths words. We can assume he is to mean... either you leave ringside, or your boys don't get this match. Whisper slams his hand on the turnbuckle before hopping off the apron. The crowd cheers wildly as Whisper exits up the ramp.)
MK: "Whisper's been banned from ringside! This is a tragedy!"
HS: "A smart decision by the referee."
(The bell rings and shot returns to the ring. Vampire and John Williams are starting off the match. John Williams locks up with the larger man. They struggle back and forth for a moment. John Williams takes a few steps back... then he pushes Vampire back a few steps. The referee watches the action closely. The tie-up brings both men into a neutral corner. The referee orders the break. Vampire, who is holding Williams in the corner backs off slowly. John Williams takes the opening to land a nasty chop to Vampire's chest. The sound echoes throughout the arena.)
MK: "Ouch"
(Another chop from Williams stuns Vampire slightly. John continues to onslaught of the hardest chops in the business. He drives Vampire all the way to the opposite neutral corner. Williams switches up the attack to a flurry of body shots. Vampire's face doesn't change, but we can see the energy draining away from him. Williams backs up and smashes into Vampire, using the bouncing momentum, he bulldogs Vampire down to the mat. Vampire's face bangs off the canvas as he flips over. Williams hooks a leg. .....1 .....2 .....Vampire kicks out.)
HS: "Close one there for EUD."
(Williams wastes no time lifting Vampire back to his feet. Vampire explodes with a clothesline, but misses, as Williams ducks under the larger man. Vampire turns around and is lifted for a quick atomic drop. Stunned by the move, Vampire is unable to react to the following dropkick. Vampire stumbles backwards into the ropes. On the return, John Williams scoops Vampire up halfway. The crowd cheers at the power of Williams. He falls back, and with a toss, lands a beautiful fallaway slam on the larger man.)
HS: "Williams is tossing Vampire around like a rag doll!"
MK: "The strength is incredible."
(Vampire bounces off the mat again and towards the ropes. Vampire starts climbing roeps for balance. As Vampire reaches his
feet, Williams charges in for a shoulder tackle. At the last second Vampire drops back to the mat. Williams stumbles over Vampire
and through the ropes to the outside. Vampire gets back to his feet. Phoenix is calling for the tag. Vampire responds by moving close enough to be touched. The referee signals for the tag and Phoenix climbs the turnbuckle. On the outside, Williams climbs to the apron. Still watching Vampire, he misses the flying Phoenix and takes the bulldog all the way back to the floor. The crowd goes insane, and cameras flash like lightning for the stunt.)
MK: "Down in Flames! My goodness, what a destructive move!"
(The referee begins his count. ....1)

(Both men climb to their feet by the count of 5 and roll into the ring. The referee makes the sign that the match continues.
Phoenix tries for a superkick on Williams, but Williams ducks, sending Phoenix stumbling a bit. Williams capitalizes and tries for a
russian leg sweep. Phoenix block the move and bends Williams in half for a strong reverse DDT. Before the drop, Williams spins
Phoenix over for a diving reverse DDT of his own! The crowd goes wild. Williams climbs the ropes, setting up for an elbow drop.
Phoenix kips up and climbs to the top. The weary Williams looks surprised. Phoenix climbs up and starts laying right hands into
Williams. Phoenix wraps his arm around William's head.)
MK: "Superplex time!"
(Phoenix tries to lift but Williams holds on tight. After another attempt, Williams starts in on Phoenix's kidney's. Phoenix takes one
shot... two shots... three shots... Williams lifts Phoenix up and both men smash to the mat with the force of William's top rope
spinebuster. both men are down.)
(After a couple of counts from the referee, both men start crawling towards their corner. Phoenix is almost to his corner and
Vampire starts to climb in. The referee runs over to stop Vampire. John Williams makes the tag while the referee's back is turned.
The referee spins around and looks up at the Assassin. With a stern warning the Assassin is sent back to his corner. The referee
receives a chorus of boos. Phoenix makes the tag, the referee signals for it and Vampire makes his way to Williams, dragging him
away just before he makes another tag. The Assassin finds this unacceptable. He ploughs through the ropes, shoves the referee
aside. and levels Vampire with a huge clothesline.)
MK: "Get him out of the ring! He's not the legal man!"
HS: "He got the tag!"
MK: "If the ref misses it, it doesn't count."
(Vampire recovers only to take a thrust to the throat. The referee is yelling at The Assassin. The Assassin executes another
throat thrust followed by a huge, powerful irish whip into the corner. Vampire bounces back and takes a huge tilt a whirl sideslam!)
HS: "The execution of that move looked extremely familiar, amazing strength."
(Phoenix charges the Assassin. The referee gives up trying to send the Assassin away. The Assassin catches Phoenix with a big
boot. Phoenix slams down hard, and sits up from the wake of the impact. The Assassin angrily moves in. Vampire begins to stand.
The Assassin grabs Phoenix for a reverse DDT. Before dropping, he sticks his elbow almost in Phoenix's mouth and drops, smashing
Phoenix's face. Phoenix looks to be out.)
HS: "Morbid Reality!"
MK: "Well, I'm sure he doesn't call it that. That's Brian William's manoeuvre."
(A moment of silence from the announcers as Vampire stalks The Assassin.)
HS&MK: "Nahhhhh"
(The Assassin turns around into the waiting arms of Vampire. Vampire lifts The Assassin high overhead. Vampire charges the
ropes and tosses The Assassin to the outside, crashing through the spanish announce table! Although accidentally knocking the ref to
the outside as well)
MK: "OH MY GOD! That was SICK."
HS: "It's the banishment to the land of nod!"
(The Assassin is already slowly recovering. Vampire steps on the bottom rope and extends his arms to either side. He looks to
the sky as if relishing the move he just inflicted on The Assassin. John Williams is standing now, waiting for Vampire. John Williams

HS: "It’s got to be over. Oh my god, I can’t believe it "The Assassin" is up already…"
MK: "and he’s taking his mask off Herb"
HS: "I can’t believe it…It’s…IT’S…IT’S BRIAN WILLIAMS!!"
MK: "The Assassin is Brian Williams, Herb. Brian Williams and his brother John Williams are the AWA Tag Team Champions and
we didn‘t even know about it. John hooks the leg. Where’s the god damn ref?"
HS: "I think he got knocked to the outside when Vampire launched The Assassin outside…"
(Suddenly the arena lights go out…)
HS: "What the…?"
(…and "Pour Some Sugar On Me" strikes up!!)
MK: "He’s here. Dave Santini didn’t turn up on Shock last week, but that’s his music here tonight!"
HS: "His music played on Shock last week, but that doesn’t mean that…"
(As the red beams comes to rest on the ramp way, the lights come fully back up to reveal Dave Santini INSIDE the ring, stood behind John Williams. John gets up only to get cracked across the back of the head with an Equalizer shot that sends him though the ropes and crashing to the outside. The groggy Assassin, now known as Brian Williams staggers into the ring only to be also on the receiving end of an Equalizer Shot to the head, followed by a shot to the midsection. Santini drops The Equalizer and delivers a devastating Ravin’Driver in the centre of the ring…)
MK: "Ohhhhhh myyyyyy…"
(Santini drags the barely moving Vampire and drapes one of his arms over the downed Brian Williams, before making a quick exit from the ring as the dazed ref crawls into the ring. Santini makes it to the ramp way as the ref counts…1...2...)
HS: "Santini has just cost the Williams’ brothers the AWA Tag Team Champion’s and one thing is for sure…There will be retribution to pay"
(The ref’s hand hit’s the mat for the third time as "Lies" by Evanescence strikes up over the PA system as Santini looks over his shoulder, sneering at the carnage left in the ring. As "Lies" fades out, we see John Williams grab a mic)
John Williams: "Santini, how dare you interfere in my business and cost me the Tag Team Titles. Tonight you’ve messed with the wrong person. Sooner or later, I’m going to catch up with you and when I do…
(John Williams pauses)
John Williams: "In fact, seeing as you want a piece of the action so badly. Why don’t you step back into this ring and show
everyone in this arena exactly what you’re made of?"
HS: "Wow. John Williams is challenging Dave "The Rave" Santini to a match… right here!!"
MK: "Nobody calls Dave Santini out and lives to tell the tale"
(Santini stops in his tracks, before turning to face the ring)
Dave Santini: "You want me, Williams. You want me right here… right now? I say what’s in it for me?"
John Williams: "Are you scared of what I might do to you?"
Dave Santini: "No, Williams. I’m saying if you lay that United States Title on the line… I’M SAYING WE HAVE A LITTLE AGREEMENT"
John Williams: "I say what are you waiting for?"
HS: "What the…?"
MK: "John Williams has just challenged Dave Santini to a match…"
HS: "…and Dave Santini has just accepted…Right here…right now!"
MK: "…and it’s for the United States Title and here comes Santini!!!"
(Santini hits the ring, charging towards Williams, using his quickness and athleticism, Williams drops down delivering a deep arm drag. Santini rolls over, and looks towards Williams who flashes a confident, if not arrogant smile. Santini gets up and charges again this time Williams executes a drop toe hold, Williams springs up and Santini seems angered he charges once again, with the same result Williams delivers a perfect armdrag.)
HS: "The Icon, John Williams is showing Santini up here"
MK: "I don’t know that embarrassing The Rave is good idea."
(This time John Williams stands up and awaits Santini, Dave sort of looks his up and down, and then shakes his head in approval. Seemingly impressed with Williams quickness and agility, Santini gets up, and walks towards Williams, offering a test of strength. They engage, and both men put up a good front, Williams with a leverage advantage starts to get the nod, when Santini drives a knee into the gut of Williams. Santini shouts at Williams, then delivers a standing vertical suplex. Santini rolls over and then begins to hammer away on the top if Williams head.)
MK: "I told you it was a bad idea, to anger him."
HS: "This match could shift towards Santini now"
(Santini picks Williams up and whips him to the turnbuckle, he then follows in with a clothesline. Santini then begins to choke Williams in the corner. The ref causes him to break the strangle hold. As he does this he moves back in applies it again. After a near five count the ref warns Santini of a disqualification.)
HS: "This is vintage Santini, he is wearing his opponent down"
MK: "We have two of the greatest US title holder ever, in this match. It will be interesting to see who gets the nod."
(Williams seemingly springs to life, grabbing Santini and throwing him into the corner, he begins to punch away. Williams continues to throw punches before resorting to kicks, and then backs off, he pulls Santini out of the corner and delivers a DDT. Williams jumps up and the crowd goes absolutely nuts. Williams picks Santini up and this time he stands him up, and knocks him down with a drop kick.)
HS: "That’s one of the best drop kicks in the game."
MK: "Well its impressive for such a large man, but I think others do it better."
HS: "Of course you do."
(Williams now once again picks Santini up and this time whips him to the ropes, he attempts a clothesline from hell, but Santini ducks and hits the other ropes, he comes back, and lands a back elbow, now Santini grabs Williams and throws him outside the ring, to the floor. Santini follows and once again the ref warns him, but receives an ear full of Dave Santini’s cursing. Santini grabs Williams and starts to deliver a series of knife edge chops, that backs Williams up against the ring steps. Santini turns and then drives Williams skull into the steel steps, Santini gets in the ring and breaks the count. Then rolls back outside. He now picks Williams up and delivers a sideslam on the concrete.)
MK: "Santini is a smart wrestler, he is trying to drive all the wind out of an already tired John Williams."
HS:" Well it's admirable that John wanted this match, but maybe it was a mistake."
(Santini throws John back into the ring now. He motions that he wants to get this over with quickly, he picks up Williams and hits a full nelson slam. Santini goes for the cover 1………..2………kick out. Santini seems to think it was a slow count and starts to yell at the referee. Williams slowly gets up, and then Santini goes back to work, he whips him to the ropes and hooks in a standing sleeper hold. Williams is in the move for a good long minute, he begins to fade out, but the chanting of the crowd keeps him going, he grabs Santini’s legs and then picks him up driving him into the corner, Santini doesn’t let go though, Williams turns around and gets a head of steam and runs all the way across the ring and into the other corner, this time Santini lets go, and Williams lifts him up onto the turnbuckle. Williams follows and now he hooks Santini up. Both men stand atop the turnbuckle now, With Dave Santini in position to be superplexed.)
HS: "This is likely going to be painful"
MK: "Do you think? I mean its not like it is a wrestling match or anything."
(Williams and Santini plummet to the ground now, and both men lay there after the superplex. Williams is the first to move, then Santini shortly after, Santini uses the ropes to pull himself up while Williams gets to his feet under his own power. Williams whips Santini to the ropes and delivers a spine buster. He then drops an elbow on Santini, followed by another. Williams rolls Santini over on his back and hooks in an STF. Santini writhes in pain now. But when the ref asks he refuses to give up. Williams holds the move a little longer, and then releases it.)
HS: "John Williams may be trying to break down the strength in Santini’s back, he could then apply his Canadian Maple Leaf and maybe get a submission."
MK: "I cant stand him personally, but a lot of people don’t realize how versed Williams is as a submission and technical wrestler.
(Williams picks Santini up now and lifts him off his feet, and delivers a hard backbreaker, then another and then another, and yes yet another.)
HS: "The Spinal Alignment, he is setting up the back of Santini."
(Williams drags Santini up now and whips him to the ropes, he goes for a spinebuster and hits it. Williams now turns over the Canadian Maple leaf, but Santini is close enough to grab the ropes. He now does so, and the hold is broken by Williams. Williams then delivers a kick to the midsection and then backs Santini into the corner, he mounts the corner and then goes for The Time to Shine.)
HS: "If he hits this its all over."
MK: "Wait the Ravin’ Driver….."
(Santini counters the move with a very desperate and not very effective version of the Ravin Driver. Both men are down now, and Santini is slowly making his way over to Williams.)
HS: "Santini did not hit his signature move full on. But it may still be enough."
MK: "United States Title on the line!! 1…………..2………………..3! NO!!! John Williams kicked out of the Ravin'Driver"
(With only an inch to go, before losing his title Williams kicks out of the move. Santini is vivid now, and starts to grab his head wondering what it will take to beat Williams, he stands up and yells at the ref, the ref signals it was only two, Santini then tosses the ref to the side. Santini then picks Williams up and sends him into the far turnbuckle!"
MK: "Williams is dazed and Santini looks set for the Spear!"
(Williams staggers out of the corner and Santini connects!)
MK: "Spear, Spear, Spear!!"
(Santini hooks the leg of Williams, as the ref hit’s the mat…1...2...)
HS: "Noooooo…Kickout! John Williams’ is still alive in this match"
(Santini seems to be getting livid now and frustrated that he can’t put John Williams away. He fires a couple of rights and lefts in the direction of the dazed John Williams, rocking him back with each shot, before Clotheslining him over the top rope…and momentum taking himself over as well, as both men land hard on the outside. The ref starts the count as both men try to struggle to their feet…1...2...3...4...5...6...)
HS: "Louise and Julie both battled to a Double KO earlier on tonight and it looks like their respective husband’s and fiancee’s might very well do the same thing here now!"
MK: "Nooooo…Santini’s getting to his feet!"
HS: "So is Williams…WHAT? Santini’s got a chair!!!"
(Williams climbs to his feet as Santini stalks him with a steel chair and just as he is about to connect…)
MK: "Noooooo…Dropkick to the chair!!"
(Santini crumbles to the floor as the steel chair connects flush with his face as John Williams’ Dropkicks the chair. John rolls into the ring to break the count, before rolling back to the outside again, despite the ref’s attempts to stop him. John crouches down as a stunned Santini attempts to regain his bearing, John eyes him up and launches at him with a Running Shoulder Tackle, but Santini manages to evade the charge at the last second, sending Williams into the ring steps, shoulder first. The ref shouts at Santini to get back inside the ring, but Santini completely ignores him, instead he grabs ANOTHER steel chair as John Williams climbs to his feet and BLASTS him with a chairshot right to the face)
HS: "My god, this is a United States Title Match, not a Streetfight or Hardcore Match-up"
(The ref shouts at Santini once more, but Santini again ignores him, raising the chair high above his head, but before he can connect again, the bell rings!"
MK: "What the?"
HS: "He’s had enough of this. The ref has warned Santini enough about his conduct here tonight and Santini has tried to break the rules once too often. The ref has just thrown this match out. John Williams retains his title!!"
MK: "Santini is livid!"
HS: "Oh my god!"
(Whilst Santini was arguing with the ref, Williams just nearly kicked his head off and then NAILED him with a Cradle Piledriver!!)
("Renegade Hero" strikes up once more as an exhausted John Williams grabs his AWA United States Title and makes his way backstage as a livid Dave Santini regains his senses, realising what has just happened. We then cut to a commercial for the Best Of Dave Santini DVD.)
(We return to the arena and "Feel" by Matchbox 20 rocks out. Strobes flash in sequence and out comes Evan Spire. The crowd pops loudly for the young superstar. He spins around, bathing in the cheers of the fans. He wears a Springs And Breaks t-shirt.)
HS: "There he is... the most inspired man in sports entertainment and..."
MK: "Don't say it..."
HS: "The Shock King!"
(Mark Keller grumbles as Evan slides into the ring. Paul Forbes walks around and grabs a microphone.)
PAUL FORBES: "Ladies and Gentlemen... your next Television Champion... Evan Spire!"
(The crowd cheers. Paul hands the microphone to Evan Spire.)
EVAN SPIRE: "Since I'm sure all of the inspired are in a hurry to see this match... we're gonna get things started. Bring out the Vee-toe man!"
("The Godfather Theme" by Nino Rota hits the speakers and out comes Vitto Vincenzio to a solid chorus of boos from the 50.000 here at Tropicana Field. The stadium is dipped in an eerie red light as smoke begins to flow down the ramp. Behind Vitto we see two women accompanying down to the ring. He steps into the ring, followed by the women, and waits for his opponent.)
HS: "This match was announced last week by George Slater as being for the vacant AWA TV title. Of course, the title was declared vacant after Bryan Peek suffered and injury in his Tag Team title loss one week ago."
MK: "Vitto Vincenzio has made quite an impact during his first few weeks here in the AWA, gaining victory after victory, and taking AWA World Champion Brian Williams to his limit. Evan Spire, however, has feuded with Low earlier this year and made an impact of his own by defeating Brian Williams recently."
(The bell rings and Evan Spire offers Vitto Vincenzio his hand. Vitto goes to slap it away, but Evan grabs Vitto's hand anyways. He forces Vitto to shake. In anger, Vitto charges forward with a clothesline, which Evan ducks and rolls Vitto into a small package! 1..... 2..... Vitto breaks loose!)
MK: "How dishonest was that!?"
HS: "I thought it was pretty smart, considering how Vitto cheated the last time these two met. Almost a quick victory there for Evan Spire."
(Evan pulls off the t-shirt and tosses it to the crowd. The two men lock up, but the much larger and heavier Vitto quickly has the advantage over Spire, applying an arm wringer. Spire, however, quickly elbows his way out and hits the ropes. He hits Vitto with a clothesline, but Vitto only staggers back a few steps.)
HS: "Spire himself is no small man by any means, but just as was the case with Brian Williams, he is simply outsized in this match."
MK: "Outsized, huh? You are ALWAYS outsized, Herb, but in a MANLY way."
HS: "Oh, tanks to you... But anyway, one could also say that Spire is starting to getting used to competing against these large men."
(Spire hits the ropes again and hits a second clothesline, only staggering Vito a few steps again. Spire looks at Paul Forbes who motions for Spire to hit the ropes again, which he does. He bounces off and hits a jumping clothesline and now Vitto is at least backed up against the ropes – until staggering towards Spire with a determined look on his face. Spire hits a standing dropkick and Vitto staggers again.)
MK: "He can't get him down!"
HS: "And Spire goes into the ropes AGAIN!"
(He indeed does and hits a running dropkick this time and NOW Vitto finally falls to the mat. Vitto sits up, but Spire's already there with a stiff kick to Vitto's back that can be heard throughout Tropicana Field. Vitto is back up, but Evan hits a series of chops to Vitto's chest and then snapmares him back to the mat, followed by a dropkick to the back of Vitto's head. Vitto holds his head and Evan covers to get 1..... 2.... and a kick out.)
HS: "It seems Spire has now find a way to dazzle and control Vitto."
(Spire pulls Vitto up and Irish whips him into the ropes. As Vitto rebounds Spire grabs him by the neck and hits a modified rear naked choke drop. Spire then climbs to the top rope an doesn't waste any time, coming off the ropes with a diving elbow drop. He covers and gets 1..... 2..... and another kick out. Spire now waits for Vitto to get up to his feet again. As he does Spire comes from behind and goes for a German suplex.)
MK: "He can't be serious."
(Vitto wraps his own leg around Spire's and avoids the German suplex. He elbows out of the waist lock, turns around and hits Spire with a big clothesline, sending him to the mat. Vitto covers, but Spire kicks out at 1. Vitto pulls him up by the hair and starts choking him across the top rope. The referee counts to four, warning Vitto, who releases just in time. However, Vitto smiles at the referee as he does the exact same choke for a second time.)
HS: "This is a blatant disregard for the rules right here."
MK: "Come on, this is just a little cheating. If you're not cheating you're not trying, Herb!"
(Vitto hooks Spire's head and hits a DDT. He covers and gets 1..... 2..... and an easy kick out. Vitto doesn't look too happy with the impact of the DDT. He pulls Spire up, grabs his throat, lifts him up and hits a choke slam. Another cover gets 1..... 2..... and another kick out.)
HS: "It seems Vitto is growing frustrated here, even though he has no real reason to be."
MK: "Well, he's got to put up with wrestling Spire and listening to that Paul Forbes yelling on the outside. I'd be frustrated if I were him, too."
(Vitto now applies a full nelson and holds for some while, actually forcing Spire to drop to one knee. Vitto then pulls him up, however, and tries for a full nelson slam, but Spire somehow manages to struggle free with one of his arms. He quickly spins around and hits a forearm right into Vitto's face. Spire then Irish whips Vitto into the ropes and hits a beautiful roundhouse kick on the larger Vitto. Spire covers and gets 1..... 2..... and a close kick out.)
HS: "This match was mostly Spire so far."
MK: "You see, Herb, it's still early, Vitto still has a lot of time to change things."
HS: "Well, possibly."
(Vitto is back up on his knees and Spire comes up from behind and applies a dragon sleeper. Vitto struggles to get back to his feet, but Spire keeps the upper hand with a reverse DDT. He then gets up again and keeps the dragon sleeper locked in until hitting a second reverse DDT after about 30 seconds. Spire again gets up, but Vitto is able to turn around and nail Spire with a fist into the stomach. Spire is doubled over and Vitto grabs his throat with both hands, attempting the Italian Job. Spire, however, connects with three well-placed kicks to Vitto's legs and Vitto has no choice but to release his grip. Spire goes back into the ropes, but Vitto connects with a kick to his midsection and again goes for the Italian Job. This time he hits it.)
MK: "The Italian Job! See, I told you so, Summers! This one's got to be over."
(Vitto covers and the referee counts 1..... 2..... NO! Spire kicks out after the Italian Job! Vitto is outraged, arguing with the referee and throwing insults at Paul Forbes. As Vitto turns his attention towards Spire again, Evan surprises Vitto with an elbow to the stomach and hits the Switchblade! Spire covers! 1..... 2..... NO! Vitto grabs the bottom rope.)
MK: "Whew, this was close."
HS: "Vitto couldn't control his emotions in this situation and Spire used it to his advantage. However, not even the Switchblade could keep the big man down."
(Vitto slowly gets up while Spire waits for him to do so. Vitto is finally back up and Spire comes running from behind, taking Vitto down with a flip-over neckbreaker. Spire covers for 1..... 2..... and another close kick out. After a series of stomps, Spire makes his way up to the top rope. He briefly looks into the crowd and then comes off with a picture perfect swanton bomb. Yet another cover gets him 1..... 2..... and again Vitto grabs the ropes.)
HS: "Evan Spire has been on the offense for most of this match, yet so far he has been unable to keep the big man down."
(Spire now waits for Vitto to get up again, signalling to the crowd that he's about to hit the Disconnect. Vitto is up and Spire goes for it, but Vitto counters and sends Spire into the ropes. Vitto goes for a lariat, but Spire ducks, hitting the far ropes instead. Vitto goes for another clothesline, but Spire ducks. Vitto turns around and Spire hits the Disconnect! He covers and gets 1..... 2..... 3! Evan Spire wins the TV title!)
HS: "It's over! New Champion!"
MK: "Evan Spire has done it!"
("Feel" hits the speakers and the fans erupt in cheers as Paul Forbes gets into the ring and hands Spire the belt. Spire holds it up in the air as the two leave the ring.)
HS: "Now he is the Shock Television King!"
MK: "Oh my..."
LP: "Ladies and gentlemen, this next match should be interesting, and violent."
FJ: "Ha Ha, I have been waiting for this, blood, blood and more blood."
LP: "You are one strange individual, Frank."
FJ: "Oh, I am strange because I am not a wuss like you?"
LP: "Yes, that’s exactly what I meant."
("Way Away" by Yellow card starts to play with the opening line and the arena erupts with cheers. There is a big explosion of white pyros on the stage as Davey Havok comes walking out onto the stage. He stops at the top of the ramp and does a short series of martial arts manoeuvres, culminating in an explosion of pyros. He laughs and slaps high fives with the fans on his way down to the ring. He slides into the ring. He climbs up onto the second rope of the turnbuckle, spreading out his arms and soaking in the cheers. He then climbs down as "Way Away" Fades out. Havok hands his invite to the ref and waits in a corner.)
LP: "Davey Havok has made a big impact on the AWA here in his first month or so, and I must say he has an excellent shot at winning this one."
FJ: "Well, as long as someone gets hurt."
(The lights flicker, and then light blue lights at the entrance way towards the ring appear. We then see on the video screen, the words Grand Slam Appear, and it goes away to the words of the BluePrint, which goes way as the next words we see are Jeff Christianson. In between each of these are short two move highlight reels from Jeff Christianson's past matches. After his name disappears, we see more clips of Jeff Christianson, with the first being him holding the World Title. He then steps out onto the ramp to the disdain of the capacity crowd Christiansen kind of snickers at the boos from the crowd and heads to the ring. Once there he slides in and hands his invite to the ref, then takes a corner opposite to Havok as "I’m Going Out" fades.)
LP: "I don’t need to say much about Dark Warrior, he has won every title to be won in the AWA, and is a proven competitor."
FJ: "Yeah, and he knows how to hurt people."
LP: "Is that all you think about?"
FJ: "No, I think about how I don’t like you sometimes as well."
(Arena lights fade as the fast paced intro of "Right now" by Korn hit the PA system and fog began to roll from the stage below as the AWA-TRON above began to flash in crimson red letters the words "The Entity" and "The Beast" One after another until the booted feet came free of the curtain. Snake wearing the normal black leather pants and trench his bear chest in full flex with the curvy Monica standing beside him. Making there way down to the ring Monica slid under the bottom rope and Snake jumped placing one foot to the apron and sliding between the top and middle rope. Once in the ring he hands his invite to the ref and takes up position in one of the vacant corners)
LP: "Snake has more than impressed me and I am sure everyone else since his arrival in the AWA."
FJ: "Could you kiss any more ass, Porter?"
("Victory" by Puff Daddy hit’s the speakers and to the delight of the crowd John Blaze steps out of the back. He has his eyes fixed on the men in the ring, and appears very focused, he slaps a few hands on his way to the ring, once at ringside he slides in hands his invite to the ref and takes a position in the last corner. Victory slowly fades as Blaze looks each of his opponents up and down.)
LP: "Well folks, Blaze has won this title before, might we see a repeat champion here tonight?"
FJ: "Oh, are you talking to me?"
("Sadness" by Enigma reverbs from the speakers; heavy industrial chords highlight the Latin Gregorian chant. Then in a moment respite only the heavy, sighing breath of an unseen woman can be heard. The Lights in the auditorium are extinguished. And like a burning brimstone flood letters spelling the name QUADE DESADE form a fiery cruciform logo; and the harsh tempo resumes and the monks begin again their mantra. Bathed in the flaming incandescence of his fiery cross Quade DeSade stands at the top of the ramp. Enshrouded in the faded, travel worn trail coat he stands staring out at the spotlighted ring. It is then that the love can be fealt: Ignorant of the crowd on either side of him, deaf to the jeers and insults raining on him Quade walks unhurried and uncaring towards the ring. The bright banners dissing on him and cussing him don't attract his attention. His only response is the seemingly permanent cold, crocodile grin which seems more for himself than for any would be fan out there. He slides into the ring and hands his invite to the ref, then takes up position on the far ropes between Havok and Blaze.)
LP: "This guys is a little strange to say the least, but he has been a champion in the AWA before, could this be his night once again?"
FJ: "I like Quade, these moronic fans just don’t know talent when they see it. Not to mention he really knows how to hurt people."
("You wrong for that" by Click Clack hits and as it does Randy "The Glove" Richards steps through the curtain to the jeering of the sold out Tropicana Field crowd. Richards quickly makes his way to the ring with a focused look on his face. He slides in and hands his invite to the ref, and takes up position on the near ropes across from DeSade. The ref than holds the Hardcore Title belt high in the air for all to see and calls for the bell.)
LP: "We are under way folks, don’t blink, or you might miss something."
FJ: "Bring on the blood!"
(The second the bell rings the six men all come together in mid ring, with The Glove squaring off with Snake, Dark Warrior with Davey Havok and Quade DeSade with John Blaze. All six men are trading fists at mid ring. DeSade gets and advantage over Blaze, and backs him up to the ropes. He takes a couple of steps back and charges clothes lining Blaze over the top to the floor. Quade Deciding there is to much happening in the ring heads out after Blaze. Once outside he pulls Blaze to his feet and whips him into the ring post which cripples Blaze. DeSade then grabs a cord that is running close to the ring and begins to choke the already grounded Blaze with it.
By now Snake and the Glove have also made their way to the outside and Snake is hammering on the glove with hard right hands. He has his head backed right up against the steel ring steps and as he hits him Richards’ head slams backwards into the steps. Snake then takes a couple of Steps back and pulls up the ring skirt. He pulls out what looks to be a crowbar from under the ring, and then turns back to Richards who is still down. Snake then moves back to Richards and raises the crowbar high into the air, but before he can come down with the crowbar Richards grabs the front of his tights and pulls him face first into the ring post.)
LP: "I can't even keep track of all this, too many men in different areas."
FJ: "Ha, someone is gonna get hurt, I can feel it."
LP: "Folks, we have three pairings of men here and all six are on the floor battling it out."
FJ: "Ha, Porter look at Dark Warrior and Havok!"
(We skip over to the far side of the ring, where Dark Warrior and Davey Havok have made their way out of the ring and over the guard rail and are now hammering each other amongst the crowd. DW swings at Havok who duck and boots him in the midsection, then follows the boot up with a DDT right on the concrete floor. Havok drops an elbow on DW and then hooks the leg for a cover, one of the refs at ringside is there to count 1...2... Kick Out by DW. Havok quickly pulls DW back to his feet and begins to pound him with right hands, the two move further through the crowd with each shot.
We skip back to the ringside area where John Blaze has gained an advantage over Quade who is down. Blaze then pulls up the mats surrounding the ring and makes his way over to Quade and pulls him to his feet. He nails him with a right hand and pulls him over to the exposed concrete floor he then hooks both arms and delivers a double arm DDT on DeSade right on the concrete floor. Blaze goes for a cover and another of the refs at ringside counts 1.…2.… Kick Out by DeSade.)
LP: "This is crazy, someone is going to get hurt very badly here tonight."
FJ: "Isn’t it great, Porter?"
LP: "I am not so sure it is, Frank."
FJ: "Don’t be such a wuss, Porter."
(We move back to The Glove and Snake who are now into the crowd and headed the same direction as DW and Havok just went. Both men are trading blows, as they work their way deeper into the mass of fans. Finally they reach the end of the fans and head out through a door way that takes them into the locker room area. The Glove takes the advantage and whips Snake into the concrete wall following it up with a Russian Leg sweep. He rolls over and cover Snake and the ref counts, 1.…2.… Kick Out by Snake.
We skip back to the floor where Blaze and DeSade are still brawling. Blaze is getting back to his feet and Quade is standing over him with a chair in hand. The second Blaze gets to his feet Quade brings the chair down and crumples it over the head of Blaze, who tumbles to the floor. Quade then lays the mangled chair over the face of the down and out Blaze and grabs yet another chair. He then proceeds to hammer the chair in his hands into the chair that sits on the face of Blaze. Finally he tosses the chair aside and kicks the chair off of the face of Blaze, who we can see is now beginning to gush blood from a large cut on his forehead. DeSade falls onto the Bloody Blaze and covers 1.…2.… Kick Out by Blaze.)
LP: "My god, how did that man kick out of that, any normal man would be dead."
FJ: "Look at the blood Porter, I love Hardcore matches!"
LP: "Well folks, John Blaze is in a bad way, his face is hardly visible now under the mask of blood he is now wearing."
(We cut to the outside of the arena where we see Dark Warrior laying Davey Havok out on a couple of skids laying on the ground. DW then climbs to the top of an industrial size dumpster and leaps delivering a splash driving Havok’s Body hard and through the top layer of skids. DW remains on top of Havok for a cover, and the ref counts 1.…2.…3!!!)
LP: "Davey Havok has been eliminated by Dark Warrior!"
FJ: "Did you see that splash Porter, it was great, he might have killed Havok there."
LP: "I hope not, but I must admit it was a sick display."
(Dark Warrior makes his way back into the arena, and as he does we cut back to The Glove and Snake. Snake has blood running down his face, from the top of his head, and The glove has a large cut across his forehead. The two men look weary but still continue to pound away on each other. The Glove swings at Snake who ducks and spins the Glove around and delivers a devastating neck breaker. He covers and the ref counts 1.…2.… Kick Out by Richards. Snake then pulls Richards back to his feet and tosses him through a door that reads Danger authorized Personnel only. Snake follows him in and drops him with a clothesline. Looking at the surroundings it quickly becomes clear that hey have stumbled into the boiler room. Snake again pulls Richards to his feet and this time tosses him into a large steel tank. Richards hits with a thud and falls backwards Snake makes his way over and covers again the ref counts 1.…2.…Kick Out by Richards.
We now skip back to the floor where Blaze and DeSade are still pounding each other. Blaze has the advantage and goes under the ring, where he pulls out a baseball bat wrapped tightly in razor wire. He then climbs up onto the apron and waits for Quade to pull himself up, once DeSade is back to his feet, Blaze jumps from the apron and drives the razor wire covered bat into the head of DeSade, who drops like he has been shot. Blaze then quickly makes his way to the down and unconscious looking DeSade, and drops to his knees and begins to grind the razor wire on the bat into the forehead of DeSade who lets out a loud scream.)
LP: "Look at this carnage, this bloodbath, and it's happening right here in front of us."
FJ: "I never knew John Blaze was so cool, look at what he is doing. It is sick."
LP: "Well, DeSade looks and sounds like he is in a world of pain right now."
FJ: "Yeah, look at the blood, Porter."
(Blaze pulls the bat out of the face of DeSade who is now a bloody mess just like his opponent. Blaze tosses the bat down and covers the bloody and beaten DeSade, the ref gets into position and counts 1.…2.… Kick Out by DeSade. The fans in the arena are going nuts watching all the action on the big screen. As well as the two men that are still on the arena floor. We move back to the boiler Room where Snake and The Glove are both down and bleeding profusely. The Glove is first to get to his feet, although still groggy. He makes his way to Snake who is also getting up, but before he can get to Snake.
The Glove is caught blindside with a superkick via Dark Warrior, who has made his way back from eliminating Davey Havok. After knocking The Glove out DW grabs Snake and pulls him back out through the door of the Boiler room, and then tosses him into a wall. Snake falls to the ground again and DW begins to pound away on him. DW then pulls Snake back to his feet and begins to pull him down the hall back towards the arena floor. The two men then come through the curtain and appear on the top of the ramp. DW scoops Snake up and slams him hard on the steel ramp. But as he goes to pick him up he is drilled from behind by the Glove who is wielding a fire extinguisher. The Glove then hammers the extinguisher into the back of DW before tossing it away. The Glove them pulls DW to his feet and begins to fire away on his with right hands. He backs DW up a few steps then drops him again with a clothesline.)
LP: "There is too much action to call here, folks, and so much violence."
FJ: "I love it, this is the most violence I have seen in one arena in a long time, maybe ever."
LP: "This is the way serious injuries are brought about. I just hope that does not happen tonight, but the way things are going I wouldn’t be surprised if even the winner is a loser here tonight."
FJ: "Come on now, Porter, if you want to see softcore wrestling apply for a job with Shock. Hey, look at this!"
(The camera comes back to DeSade and Blaze who are now fighting on top of the French announce table. DeSade gets an advantage when he drops to his knees and nails Blaze with a low blow. Blaze drops to his knees on the table and Quade gets back up. He then looks down at the exposed flooring and a devilish smile falls over his face. He hooks Black head between his knees and lifts him up in a cradle pile driver position, then leaps backwards off of the table and drives Blaze head first hard into he concrete floor. The crowd Instantly breaks into a HOLY SHIT chant and DeSade covers the destroyed Blaze. The ref drops down and counts 1.…2.…3!!!)
LP: "John Blaze has been eliminated by Quade DeSade, and Blaze might be hurt. That was a brutal display of violence by DeSade. He could have ended Blaze's sareer right there."
FJ: "Yeah, and that’s the kind of thing you have to expect when you sign on for a match such as this one."
LP: "You are right about that, and DeSade probably knew that he was going to have to do something special to keep Blaze down for good."
(We see DeSade slowly getting up and beginning to make his way to the top of the ramp where the other three men are. He reaches the top of the ramp and is instantly met by a bloody Snake. The two men begin to trade shots. Snake however gains the advantage and whips DeSade into the steel braided uprights that hold the AWA big screen in place. DeSade stumbles backwards and is dropped with a neck breaker from Snake. On the other side of the ramp Dark Warrior has the Glove backed up right to the edge to the ramp. DW charges the Glove but at the very last second The Glove moves to the side and tosses DW off of the Stage. He plummets down hitting hard on an equipment table causing it to break. The monitors and boards and such can be seen snapping and popping as the electricity flows through them.)
LP: "OH MY GOD, Dark Warrior just fell of the stage, and crashed through that electrical table, and Frank, he is not moving at all, we need some paramedics out here now!"
FJ: "Wow! Not even I was expecting that. You might be right here, Porter, DW looks like he is hurt badly."
(The Glove looks down at the carnage he has created and a smile falls over his face, almost as if he is happy about what he has done. He then steps right to the edge of the stage and leaps off driving his elbow right into the chest of the already unconscious Dark Warrior. This also appears to knock The Glove out, however he remains on top of Dark Warrior. A referee quickly makes his way to the scene and counts 1.…2.…3!!!)
LP: "Folks, what a sick display by this young man Randy Richards. He just put both his and Dark Warrior's bodies on the line just to pick up the pin fall. I really hope Dark Warrior is okay, he fell off that stage which must be at least fifteen, maybe twenty feet above the floor. Not to mention crashing through that table covered with electrical equipment. Then the suicidal elbow from The Glove, Dark Warrior looks to be in a bad way here."
(The glove finally manages to roll off of DW, and as he does the paramedics are quickly on the scene strapping the still unconscious DW to a stretcher. The Glove looks at DW one last time before dragging his bloody self down to the ring where the other two men are fighting. The Glove goes under the ring and pulls out a ladder and takes it over to where DeSade and Snake are pounding each other. Richards runs at the two men knocking them both down with a clothesline from the ladder. He then drops the ladder and looks at the two men on the floor. Then turns around and goes towards the time keepers table and takes a chair from an official who is sitting there. Richards folds the chair and makes his way back to his two downed opponents. He stands over DeSade and raises the chair into the air and begins to bring it down, but as he does DeSade lifts his foot driving the chair back into the face of Richards, which knocks him to the floor as well., and all three men are down.)
LP: "We are getting down to it here. Three men are left, and all three are down and look out."
FJ: "Look at all the blood, Porter, I love it. Match of the year so far."
LP: "Well, that is hard to argue, all six of the original participants have given it their all here."
(Snake slowly gets to his feet, followed closely by DeSade. Snake catches DeSade coming in and delivers a spine buster onto the still exposed concrete floor and rolls for a cover The ref counts 1.…2.… Kick Out by DeSade. Snake lets out a heavy sigh and quickly jumps to his feet only to get flattened from the back side by The Glove. The Glove then moves over to DeSade and pulls him back to his feet then rams him back first into the ring apron. Then as DeSade stumbles forward the Glove catches him and delivers a hard single arm DDT. The Glove then slowly gets back to his feet drops a leg across the chest of DeSade and covers him. The ref gets into position and counts 1.…2.… Kick Out by DeSade. The Glove also lets out a sigh, getting almost frustrated that he is unable to keep DeSade down. Tired he slowly gets to his feet, and pulls DeSade with him, and then tosses him over the guard rail. The Glove then turns to find Snake, who has made it to his feet and is standing behind him with a chair. Snake decks Richard flattening him on the floor. Snake then digs under the ring and pulls out a table. He proceeds to set up the table and lay Richards across it, then rills him again with the chair and lays the chair across his face. Snake then grabs another chair from under the ring and climbs up to the top rope.)
LP: "Rather uncharacteristic for Snake here, he has not made a living from the top rope, but that shows how far these guys are willing to go to win this match."
FJ: "Yeah, and if he hits this, Richards won't be kicking out, but this is going to be what it takes to keep him down."
LP: "Well, you might be right on that Frank, but the way this one has gone, he might get up. Assuming Snake hits whatever he is about to attempt."
(Snake leaps from the top to the outside putting the chair in his hands under his legs and dropping it onto the chair over Richards face sending Richards crashing through the table. Snake also hits hard but has the presence of mind to cover Richards amongst the pieces of shattered table. The ref climbs over the wreckage of the table to position and count 1.…2.…3!!!)
LP: "My God, what a move, and after a hard fight Randy Richards has been eliminated by Snake. But hats off to this kid, he has proved himself and then some, and I have no doubt he is going to be a name here for a long time to come."
(Snake rolls out of the mess of broken table and lays flat on his back on the floor. DeSade is now back over the guard rail and slowly moving over to Snake. DeSade looks at the wreck that Richards is in and looks at the Downed Snake and then pulls him to his feet. DeSade scoops Snake and slams him down to the mat. Then drops an elbow and goes for a cover the ref gets to position and counts 1.…2.… Kick Out by Snake. DeSade pulls himself to his feet and heads over to the time keepers bench, he then grabs the ring bell from the table and makes his way back to Snake who is trying to pull himself back to his feet by using the ring apron. Quade climbs up onto the apron and jumps down holding the ring bell up, but before he can hit Snake, Snake nails him with a hard shot to the midsection. DeSade drops the bell and falls to the floor. Snake then grabs a chair and himself climbs to the apron. He puts the chair under his left arm and runs and leaps trying drive the chair into the downed DeSade, but at the last minute DeSade rolls and Snake comes crashing to the floor. Both men are again down and the Crowd are still on their feet like they have been the entire match.)
LP: "Will this match ever end? Both men are taking huge risks, but as of yet no one has been able to hit. It is almost as if they know its going to take something special to finish this one."
(DeSade again uses the apron to pull himself up, he then looks around and makes his way to the ladder laying on the floor. He then sets up the ladder and begins to climb, but as he is climbing Snake also pulls himself up and begins to climb the other side of the ladder, until both men are fighting it out on top of the ladder. DeSade drops down and nails Snake with a low blow. He then climbs right to the top of the ladder hooks Snake and from the top of the ladder delivers a superplex, right through the French announce table. Both men hit hard as the Crowd again begins with the HOLY SHIT chant. For a couple of seconds both men just lay motionless but Quade almost out of instinct flops an arm across the chest of Snake the ref gets into position and counts 1.…2.…3!!!)
LP: "IT’S OVER, after all of that it’s FINALLY over! Quade DeSade has won the Hardcore title, but looking at him now you would not know it."
FJ: "WOW, that was great, like I said before match of the year."
LP: "Well, ladies and gentlemen, Quade DeSade has lasted and become the Hardcore Champion, but not without a tremendous fight from all involved. Very honorable mention goes to Snake of course who was an eyelash away from winning this, and to AWA rookie Randy "The Glove" Richards, who came basically out of nowhere and made himself a house hold name, getting a pin fall over former AWA World Champion Dark Warrior. Now on a down note Dark Warrior has been taken to a local hospital where he is currently being examined by Doctors. If we get any more info we will let you know as soon as we can."
FJ: "Look at all the blood, Porter, it's crimson masks for everyone."
LP: "Folks, as paramedics, officials and ring attendants are clearing this mess up, we will leave you now with our AWA Shock colleagues, Herb and Mark."
(The camera cuts to Herb and Mark.)
HS: "Thanks, Larry. What a mess this match was, right Mark?"
MK: "You see, Herb, I don't agree with you on a whole lot, but that certainly was some gruesome action. Hey, I love a good brawl myself and AWA Sunday Night Shock offers some violent action as well, but I am glad to say that we focus on WRESTLING and don't create an extra title for people like that."
HS: "Exactly. Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, we’re just about ready for our main event of the evening..."
MK: "And perhaps one of the most anticipated matches in AWA history..."
HS: "A World title casket match between AWA World Champion Brian Williams and the challenger, the Nuclear Nautilus, Adam Bawm!"
MK: "Two men who can only be seen on Shock!"
HS: "These two men have been at each other’s throats since Bawm’s triumphant return two months ago."
MK: "They competed last month at Vortex in a no-DQ match where Williams again came out on top."
HS: "Despite an unprecedented effort by Adam Bawm. He’s out for redemption tonight and he, along with these great fans, would love to see Bawm finally win the World title."
MK: "Or ANY title for that matter."
HS: "We’ve mentioned that these two have had more than a share of words over the last several weeks, but why don’t you take a look for yourself!"
(A video montage hyping the casket match is shown, and we see a still frame of both Bawm and then Williams. Several highlights from each of their respective careers are shown, climaxing with Williams pinning a bloodied Bawm at Vortex to retain the World title and then culminating with the flaming casket from last Sunday on Shock. The fiery words of ‘I Accept’ are shown in slow motion as ‘Time Bomb’ begins to pick up.)
HS: "And here comes the challenger, ADAM BAWM!"
MK: "These 45.000+ Floridians are going nuts! Just listen to this sold out crowd!"
(The fans begin a BAWM-Y chant which thunders through the stadium as Bawm’s pyrotechnics flare. A billow of smoke covers the entranceway as the crowd gets louder and louder, anticipating Bawm’s arrival.)
HS: "Bawm hasn’t been seen in an AWA ring in a couple of weeks, but the way these fans sound, you’d think it was much much longer!"
MK: "And here comes the former... well, he’s not the former anything... he’s never even won a title before."
HS: "Yes, yes, Mark, we know!"
MK: "Know what? That Adam Bawm has never won an AWA title before?"
(Soon Bawm emerges from behind the smoke and the fans go crazy. Bawm looks as pumped as ever as he makes his way down the entrance ramp, jubilating with the crowd and giving high fives. He even stops to pose for a couple of pictures with an attractive young lady with an Adamaniac T-shirt on.)
MK: "I suppose we should take this time to review for the fans the rules of a coffin match."
HS: "The format of a casket match is simple: there are no disqualifications, so anything goes!"
MK: "At the top of the ramp there will be an open casket..."
HS: "The only way to win this match is to place your opponent into the coffin and slam it shut."
MK: "The first person to do so will be the AWA World Champion!"
(The crowd begins to settle down as Bawm awaits his opponent in the ring. He focuses his attention up to the ramp, but instead of Williams’s music, ‘March of the Dead’ begins to play and the stadium goes dark.)
HS: "What is going on here? This isn’t Brian Williams?"
MK: "No, look! It’s the X-Factor in this match!"
HS: "WHO!"
MK: "Not who, Herb... WHAT! It’s the casket being wheeled down to the ramp."
HS: "This must be some kind of sick and twisted joke by Brian Williams."
MK: "It’s just another one of his mind games, Herb."
HS: "Ladies and gentlemen, this is just a tiny sample of the bitter war between these two men. And I have a feeling that tonight, it will all finally end for good!"
MK: "I guarantee that man in the ring sure hopes so. But you heard both of these men, Herb. This will never end, they’ll be at each others’ throats till they both die."
HS: "Then it’s only fitting then that we have a casket match here tonight!"
(The crowd begins to settle down once again when, all of the sudden, the lights go out. Soon the deep, ominous and melodious chords of Metallica’s ‘Orion’ resonate through the stadium and thunderous boos rain down from the crowd. An eerie orange light glows onto the entrance ramp and smoke soon begins to billow around the entranceway. The smoke creates mysterious haze and the camera follows the seven foot silhouette of Brian Williams to the ring.)
MK: "And here is the World Champion!"
HS: "Brian Williams looks as focused and as evil as ever, it’s obvious he, too, is prepared for this match."
MK: "What is the champ doing here?"
(Williams begins jawing with Bawm and then Williams points and icy finger up the ramp, to the coffin. He then slides his thumb across his neck, signaling the end is near for his opponent. In retaliation, Bawm motions for Brian Williams to ‘bring it’ but the melancholic giant takes his time climbing up the ring steps and over the ropes. So much time, in fact, that Bawm grows impatient and quickly charges him.)
HS: "Bawm has had enough, he’s bringing the fight to Williams!"
MK: "Oh, probably not a good id... oooh, too late!"
(Bawm was indeed suckered into Williams’s plan, for when he reaches near to the World champ, Williams lunges out with a thrusting fist to Bawm’s throat. As Bawm clutches his throat, Williams locks him up and then whips him hard into the nearby turnbuckle. The crowd lets out a gasp as the sound from the toss reverberates through Tropicana Field. Bawm arches back into the turnbuckle in pain as Williams lifts a massive boot right into Bawm’s throat.)
HS: "After outsmarting Bawm, the champion is going right to work here."
MK: "And remember, Herb, anything goes, this is a no disqualification match!"
(The referee practically begs Williams to release the choke hold, and, eventually he does, but not before taunting Bawm and the jeering crowd. As he does, Bawm quickly lashes out, surprising the champion, and shoves the seven foot monster into the turnbuckle himself. Bawm wastes no time and quickly lashes out with a wicked barrage of overhead chops, each one echoing loudly through the stadium. After about the fifth one, Bawm lets out, along with the fans, a Ric Flair ‘Whooo!’ and the fans cheer loudly.)
HS: "Just listen to that impact! Brian Williams will be feeling those in the morning!"
MK: "But look, they seem to be pissing him off, because his face is growing as red as the marks on his chest!"
(Williams suddenly reaches out, grabbing Bawm, and tosses the Nuclear Nautilus back into the corner where he proceeds to nail Bawm with several hard close fisted right hands. With each punch, Bawm slinks further and further into the turnbuckle until, eventually, he is in a seated position.)
MK: "And so the tide begins to turn. Brian Williams is simply ruthless."
HS: "Williams has always been known for his non stop onslaughts. He just keeps coming at you, never allowing a moment’s rest."
(Brian Williams lunges out his tree-trunk like right leg and places his boot square across Bawm’s neck again. Bawm struggles for breath as the referee begins to count to five.)
MK: "What is the referee doing, Herb? I thought this was a no disqualifications match?"
HS: "Apparently the referee has forgotten. Or maybe he’s just trying to protect Bawm from any type of career ending injury."
MK: "Probably, but I say rules are rules and he should just let Williams do his thing."
HS: "I’m inclined to agree with you."
(Williams is infuriated at the referee, who orders him to release the choke on Bawm. The Champion shoves the referee aside, knocking him hard to the mat.)
HS: "The referee is down!"
MK: "And Bawm is basically at Williams’ mercy."
(Brian Williams quickly diverts his attention back to Bawm, who is slowly coming around. Too slow, in fact, and Williams kicks him hard in the midsection. Brian then proceeds to contort Bawm around in the turnbuckle so that he is now hung in a tree of woe, like a lamb to slaughter.)
MK: "See."
HS: "Bawm had better do something – and quickly!"
(Brian Williams gestures maliciously towards Bawm as he backs his way into the center of the ring. Like a charging bull Williams darts for Bawm and lunges out one of his massive legs.)
MK: "INCOMING!"
HS: "I can’t lo... OOOOOH!"
MK: "That HAD to hurt."
HS: "I think this crowd agrees."
(The crowd cheers as Williams slumps over, clutching his groin, which met with the ring post and not his opponent. Bawm managed to roll free at the last possible moment, leaving Williams to carry himself into the turnbuckle from his own momentum.)
MK: "He’s going to need some Icy Hot after that one!"
HS: "He may need more than that."
MK: "It hurts me just thinking about it."
HS: "With Williams in a world of pain, Bawm is slowly regaining his senses."
(Williams, still clutching himself, turns toward Bawm’s direction and the crowd is ecstatic when Bawm wraps his large arms around Brian’s huge waist and tosses him overhead with a release belly to belly suplex, folding the champ like a lawn chair.)
HS: "Bawm just tossed the World Champion like a rag doll!"
MK: "But look, he used so much energy, he’s now exhausted."
HS: "You’re right, both men are down!"
MK: "And look who is just showing up to start a ten count."
HS: "Can a casket match even be ended with a double count out?"
MK: "I guess so, the referee is certainly counting."
HS: "Maybe Williams just knocked him senseless?"
(The fans seem a bit confused, but nevertheless count along with the referee with each moment. ONE... TWO... THREE... FOUR... FIVE... both men begin to stir... SEVEN... Bawm reaches one knee, breaking the referee’s count. Suddenly, as Bawm slowly climbs to his feet, the World Champion shoots out from a prone position landing a shoulder tackle into Bawm’s gut and driving him clear across the ring into the opposite turnbuckle.)
HS: "Just look at that power!"
MK: "Brian Williams isn’t the champion for no reason."
HS: "I have never argued his deservedness, just his questionable in and out of ring tactics."
(Williams continues with three more hard shoulder blocks into Bawm’s solar plexus, driving out his wind. After the third shoulder block, Bawm stumbles out of the corner, only to be met by Williams’s two enormous hands around his throat. Williams begins to lift, but Bawm brilliantly counters by forcing his forearms between those of Williams and pulling them apart. He wheels around behind a surprised Williams and locks in a sleeper hold on the seven footer.)
HS: "Well, Williams certainly didn’t see that coming."
MK: "Bawm has the advantage now. He’s using Williams’s own height against him by pulling backward and causing the champion’s back to be severely arched. This creates leverage for the Hollywood superstar."
HS: "Very well said, partner."
MK: "Well, one of us has to do something right around here."
HS: "Haha..."
MK: "I wonder if Bawm realizes that there is no tapping out in this match."
HS: "I thought you were supposed to know everything? He’s clearly just trying to wear Williams down so he can put him in the casket."
(Williams struggles to free himself, but Bawm pulls him backward even more, forcing him into an almost horizontal base. Williams slowly begins to fade and the fans roar. They cheer even louder when Bawm suddenly sweeps out Williams’s legs from under him and then lifts him into the air by his head, ensuing slamming the world champ to the mat.)
MK: "The Billion Dollar Move! These fans are going nuts."
HS: "Just when you think he’s down for the count, Bawm comes right back with a set of maneuvers like that!"
MK: "Williams is reeling."
HS: "I’ve been commentating for Bawm his entire AWA career and there’s one thing for sure, he doesn’t give up that easy. I have a feeling that there is no way Bawm is going to give up tonight."
(Bawm gets up screaming and smacking his chest as the fans cheer for him loudly. He then returns to Williams, lifting him up off the mat to his feet. Bawm then locks his arms around Williams’ chest and begins to squeeze.)
HS: "Bawm is going for a bear hug here."
MK: "Oh, but look, Brian Williams will have none of that!"
(The Champion begins to elbow Bawm in the back of the head and neck area, forcing him to release his grip. In the blink of an eye, Williams counters by grabbing Bawm around the head and then twisting himself around so Bawm is now in a front face lock. The crowd boos as Williams flashes an evil grin and then nails the hapless Bawm with a reverse DDT.)
MK: "MORBID REALITY! BRIAN WILLIAMS JUST LANDED THE MORBID REALITY ON BAWM!"
HS: "That’s a viscous maneuver. Just watch again how Williams lands the reverse DDT but also plants an elbow right into Bawm’s face, in one, highly painful motion. Bawm is out cold!"
(Williams climbs to his feet and looks down at Bawm, who is sprawled out in pain. He then rushes over to the nearest turnbuckle and, in one quick motion, he’s atop it.)
HS: "Oh no, what is Williams planning on doing here?"
MK: "Did you see how agily he climbed up that turnbuckle? I told you he has the whole package."
(The crowd rains down boos as Williams leaps off the turnbuckle but, despite the jeers, hundreds of flashbulbs go off. A moment later, THWACK, and Brian Williams is on the mat clutching his now injured knee.)
HS: "HE MISSED! BAWM ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT! HE MISSED THE KNEE DROP!"
MK: "I guess gorillas don’t belong in trees afterall."
HS: "Both men are down now and it seems that Williams has hurt his knee."
MK: "Let’s see if Bawm can ever take advantage."
(The referee doesn’t count, this time, and both men slowly get to their feet. Williams, a bit fresher, reacts first, and drives a knee hard into Bawm’s stomach. As Bawm doubles over, he quickly fells the Nuclear Nautilus with a DDT.)
MK: "Great counter by the Tyrant of Destruction. I’m starting to like this guy more and more!"
HS: "This match is intense, these guys are just back and forth!"
MK: "Yes but look at Bawm’s eyes, he doesn’t have much more left in him."
(Bawm stumbles about on the mat, clutching his head, as Williams mercilessly begins to stomp away at Bawm’s skull, concluding with a huge double foot stomp that nearly knocks him out cold. One of Williams’s bootlaces catches Bawm across his right brow and slightly cuts him open. Williams sees the blood, and like a rabid animal, attacks Bawm. The Champion locks in a sleeper hold of his own as Bawm struggles to remain conscious.)
HS: "Brian Williams is a merciless monster. He sees blood and attacks like a shark."
(The referee begs Williams to release the hold, unable to call for the bell. The blood from Bawm’s small cut soon begins to flow, making it appear much worse than it hopefully is. Bawm slowly begins to fade as the crowd boos loudly and Williams simply curses at Bawm.)
HS: "This is disturbing... Brian Williams is insane!"
MK: "I think you’re over.. hey, what the hell is going on?"
HS: "IT’S KELLY GUNNS!"
MK: "What the hell does she want? What is she going to do?"
HS: "She hasn’t come to Bawm’s side in a ring since... since... since CLASSIC!"
(The crowd cheers loudly as the curvaceous brunette heads down to the ring from the entrance ramp. She begins screaming profanities at Brian Williams and cheering for her fiancée. Williams taunts Gunns by locking in his sleeper hold tighter, practically begging her to stop him. Brian Williams lifts Bawm to his feet, causing more blood to drip from Bawm’s open wound. The referee is nearly dying to call the match, but he is unable to.)
HS: "That man is a pure monster. Hasn’t he caused Kelly Gunns enough pain already."
MK: "It’s not Gunns who is hurting right now."
(Now on his feet, Bawm locks his glazed over eyes with Kelly’s and almost instantly there is renewed life in him. He begins to move his body and the fans try to cheer him on. Kelly gets in the act too, slamming her hand onto the mat to try and revive Bawm. Williams, although shocked, will have none of this and begins to lift Bawm up and over.)
HS: "This is just cruel, Mark."
MK: "Exactly, Herb, its Cruel Intent."
(However, Williams doesn’t manage to get Bawm over once, and the technical extraordinaire rolls himself forward back to a vertical base and, with the aide of Williams’s own momentum, is able to quickly land a hard standing hip toss. Bawm then locks in a front face lock and lifts Williams to his feet, forcefully. A moment later, Bawm sweeps Williams’s legs out from underneath him and lands a high impact reverse DDT.)
HS: "The Radiator! I don’t think Bawm has used that move since his days in the SFT!"
MK: "I wonder why, it certainly seems effective. The World Champion is down!"
HS: "So is Bawm and for the third time tonight, both men are down!"
(Bawm fails to get to his feet, covered in his own blood. A thick puddle of crimson forms around his head and he lies on the mat, nearly unconscious. Williams groggily climbs to his feet, a bit weak kneed, but overall, no worse for wear. Kelly Gunns screams pleas for Bawm to get to his feet, to no avail.)
MK: "Bawm is completely helpless and Williams is stalking him like a true predator."
HS: "More like a scavenger, preying on an injured animal."
(Bawm is unable to stop Williams as the Tyrant of Destruction grabs him by the leg. The crowd boos very loudly as Williams taunts Kelly Gunns and Bawm, who is bleeding profusely. He then reaches down and grabs Bawm’s right leg, twisting it around his own, then leaning back locking in a variation of the Texas Cloverleaf. He leans back very heavily, putting intense pressure on Bawm’s neck, who is too out of it to even scream loudly.)
MK: "THE STRUGGLE WITHIN! IT’S ALL OVER!"
HS: "No, it’s a casket match, remember? Bawm can’t tap out!"
MK: "Yes, I know, but after this, Bawm isn’t even going to be able to walk!"
(Bawm begins flailing wildly, though not tapping, from the pain and the blood loss. The referee, however, is unable to call the match. The crowd is stunned silent as Williams curses at Bawm and proclaims his dominance.)
MK: "Oh, no, not again. What is she doing now?"
HS: "She’s rescuing her fiancée, that’s what!"
MK: "What the hell does she think she is going to do to Williams?"
(Gunns stops dead in her tracks, though, as Williams releases Bawm and looms over her. In an instant she darts away, but the Tyrant grabs her by her hair and pulls her toward himself. The crowd jeers insanely at Williams, but he doesn’t care. Suddenly, Gunns stomps one of her five inch stiletto heels right into Williams’s foot. He jerks back, shoving her into, and through, the ropes as the crowd roars in laughter. He stumbles over Bawm, who is struggling to his feet, and falls hard onto the mat.)
HS: "I guess that old saying IS true."
MK: "Don’t mess with another man’s woman?"
HS: "No, the bigger they are, the harder they fall."
(Bawm, still a bloodied mess, gets his second wind upon seeing a prone Williams and immediately locks in a figure four leg lock on Brian Williams.)
HS: "THAT’S A FIGURE FOUR! BAWM HAS THE WORLD CHAMPION LOCKED INTO A FIGURE FOUR!"
MK: "Wow, no one saw that coming!"
(The crowd erupts as Williams screams in pain. He tries to drag Bawm across the ring with his hands, but Bawm wisely grabs onto the bottom rope, preventing him from moving.)
MK: "He’s using the ropes for leverage! BAWM IS CHEATING!"
HS: "This is a no disqualifications match, Mark, you know that. ANYTHING GOES!"
(Williams fights violently, struggling to break free. It doesn’t take long for Bawm to weaken, however, and Williams manages to roll over and relock in a figure four of his own, standing up as he does.)
MK: "AND BRIAN WILLIAMS WITH A FIGURE FOUR OF HIS OWN! WHAT A COUNTER!"
HS: "I must say, that was quite impressive by the Champion."
(But Bawm, plagued by intense pain, locks onto the same ropes.)
MK: "Those aren’t going to help you, Bawm."
HS: "Don’t be so sure... look!"
(The Nuclear Nautilus uses every ounce of strength he has left to pull onto the ropes and use them as leverage, shoving Williams off of him and sending him stumbling backward all the way into the opposite ropes across the ring.)
HS: "Bawm breaks free!"
MK: "Holy cow, what a match!"
HS: "I can’t believe this! Look at the mat, it’s completely covered in Bawm’s blood!"
(Williams bounces off, mostly from his own momentum, and heads back towards Bawm.)
HS: "OH MY GOD!"
MK: "I can’t believe what I just saw!"
(The fans chant HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! as Williams lay on the outside of the ring, now busted open, but clutching his back.)
HS: "Bawm just gave Williams a flapjack that sent him OVER the ropes!"
MK: "And on the way down, Williams’s face connected with the ring apron. And he’s now bleeding like a stuck pig!"
HS: "Let’s watch this again, folks, just look how high Bawm tossed Williams into the air! That’s nearly 15 feet to the ground."
MK: "And the only thing that broke his fall, somewhat, is his face!"
(Bawm, in all the excitement, steps over the ropes, but his body won’t allow him to go much further and he collapses, slumping over the top rope. The fans are still chanting HOLY SHIT as the replay is shown over and over again.)
HS: "I haven’t seen Bawm bleed this much since Classic, when Dave Santini hit him with the Equalizer."
MK: "To this date, that has perhaps been Bawm’s most memorable match, but tonight, this one takes the cake!"
HS: "I don’t think Brian Williams has faced anyone with as much urgency as Bawm has tonight!"
(Williams is barely able to climb to his feet, his face completely drenched in blood now. The Tyrant of Destruction, however, shakes off his dizziness and goes right for Bawm.)
HS: "How can he even be conscious after that, let alone ready to fight?"
MK: "Because Brian Williams truly is a monster... he’s like Jason... he’ll never go down!"
(Williams grabs Bawm by the leg and starts to pull him down, but Bawm has some spark of life in him again, and starts to kick at Williams, forcing him to release his grip. As soon as he does, Bawm hops up onto the second rope and leaps backward, landing a huge springboard moonsault onto Williams, who is still outside the ring.)
HS: "SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT! HOW DID HE DO THAT?"
MK: "What a move!"
(The fans again chant HOLY SHIT! as both men lie outside of the ring, bleeding. Williams actually seems worse off than Bawm, because of the larger gash on his forehead, but both of their blood quickly covers the ground around them.)
MK: "Both men are down... AGAIN!"
HS: "And both men are losing pints of blood a minute!"
(The referee looks on in horror as both men stumble about, groaning in pain. Eventually they are both to their knees, still dazed. The crowd roars with excitement as both men climb to their feet at the same time and, upon spotting one another, begin trading lefts and rights. With each punch, blood from either man goes splattering into the crowd, who scream for more.)
HS: "This has become pure mayhem. This one will go down in the AWA record book, that’s for damn sure."
MK: "I sure hope so!"
HS: "One thing is for sure, that, regardless who wins tonight, both men will have a new found respect for one another."
MK: "And both men will definetly have given it their all, just as promised."
(Adam Bawm is seemingly the one who gains the advantage, and charges Williams with a shoulder, sending him spine first into the ring railing. The crowd gasps at the resonating impact heard throughout the stadium.)
HS: "Oh, did you hear that impact?"
MK: "Herb, all of Florida heard that impact!"
(Bawm continues to drive Williams into the rail with more and more force and the crowd begins to get behind him. By this point, Bawm has become rejuvenated and the blood has nearly ceased flowing. The same cannot be said for Williams, who appears the worse for wear. After Bawm has sufficiently pummeled the champion, he leans over and lifts him to his chest, in a press position.)
MK: "Oh, dear, what is he doing?"
HS: "I can’t believe he’s going to try this! In his condition, he could severely injure his back. This is his career we’re talking about!"
(Bawm begins to lift Williams up into the press position and the fans go into frenzy. Bawm actually gets the 350 pound champion into the air.)
HS: "OH MY GOD! Adam Bawm just lifted Brian Williams high into the air, overhead. Despite the beating, despite the stress, despite the unprecedented amount of blood loss, Adam Bawm has lifted Brian Williams into the air!"
MK: "Wait a minute, what is going on here?"
HS: "How in the hell?"
(Williams manages to break free, falling back behind Bawm and shoving the Atomic Adonis chest first into the ring railing. Bawm stumbles backward, twisting around to face Brian Williams, who is waiting with open arms and lifts Bawm high into the air, in one fluid motion, with his own press slam position.)
HS: "HOLY CRAP! NO, He can’t do that! HE WON’T!"
MK: "Here comes THE REVELATION!"
HS: "I CAN’T LOOK!"
(The fans are in an uproar of excitement as Williams holds Bawm high into the air. However, Bawm manages to contort his body slightly, forcing Williams to toss him down to the ground, rather than execute the brain buster. The fans let out a heavy gasp as Bawm hits the mat back first and the ‘THWACK’ echoes loudly throughout the entire stadium.)
HS: "Williams couldn’t nail the Revelation!"
MK: "Yes, but Bawm just fell at least nine feet to the concrete."
HS: "That concrete is protected by a mat only one inch thick! Nothing that is one inch thick can break a fall of that height and magnitude!"
MK: "Three hundred pounds of Hollywood Hero just came crashing down hard. And Brian Williams is switching into rage mode!"
(Williams begins stomping into Bawm, who is in more pain from his back than the heavy boots of Brian Williams. Naturally, when Brian begins to stomp away at Bawm’s back, ruthlessly, Bawm lets out a wail of pain.)
HS: "I’m not sure how much more of this I can take."
MK: "Williams isn’t going to stop until Bawm doesn’t get back up again."
HS: "I don’t think that will ever happen, Mark. Neither of these men will ever give up."
MK: "Sometimes, Herb, giving up is the right thing to do."
HS: "Try telling that to THEIR egos!"
(Williams’ blood begins to drip onto Bawm’s back, which Williams seems to enjoy. After a few more moments of stomping, Brian Williams scoops Bawm up and, after a hard clubbing blow to Bawm’s back, proceeds to slam Bawm’s head into the ring railing. But instead of slamming Bawm, he grinds Bawm’s open wound along the railing, towards the entranceway, leaving a trail of scarlet along the railing for the fan’s to sicken over.)
HS: "This is too much. Brian Williams is trying to incapacitate Bawm. He’s trying to end his career."
MK: "Correction, Herb... he’s trying to get him into that coffin up there."
(The fans boo loudly as Williams drags Bawm up the entrance ramp. By this time, Kelly Gunns, who for the majority of the match has been cheering Bawm from a distance, begins to closely follow Williams. She calls out to him, getting his attention momentarily. As Williams looks up, she flips him off, and he grins as he pulls Bawm back by the back of his neck.)
MK: "Kelly Gunns just keeps pissing Brian off more. I don’t think she’s helping Bawm now."
HS: "I’m afraid to say it, but you may be right."
MK: "I know."
HS: "THEN AGAIN..."
(The distraction gives Bawm enough time to regain some composure and blindly swing for Williams groin area. He connects, and Brian Williams is doubled over in intense pain.)
MK: "LOW BLOW! THAT WAS A LOW BLOW BY BAWM!"
HS: "Bawm is doing whatever it takes to win this NO DISQUALIFICATIONS match."
MK: "I can’t believe, YOU, of all people, would condone such a low and vile maneuver."
HS: "Oh, and intentionally ripping open wound by grinding a man’s skull across a steel railing isn’t considered vile?"
MK: "Whatever it takes to win, Herb."
HS: "I swear, sometimes you’re worse than Frank!"
(After the low blow, Bawm, in a desperation move, lifts Williams onto his shoulder and drops back with a Samoan drop into the metal entrance ramp. Bawm lays on top of Williams, both men unable to move, and gasps for breath. We can see small trickles of blood flow out of his mouth, and he begins to cough up some blood as well.)
HS: "Oh no, this isn’t good. It appears Bawm has some internal bleeding. This could be gravely serious, everyone. Someone has to stop this match, now."
MK: "Bawm doesn’t look too kosher, Herb."
HS: "NO S(BLEEP)!"
(Eventually Bawm begins to stumble to his feet, using the nearby coffin to help himself up. Williams, too, begins to stir, and as they do, the camera pans down the entrance ramp and ring showing the thick trail of blood.)
HS: "Somehow, both of these men keep getting to their feet!"
(Bawm sees Williams to his feet and begins to stumble over towards him. Williams, looking a bit fresher, quickly kicks Bawm in the gut. He then forcefully locks Bawm into a front head lock and then begins cursing the North Carolinian. A moment later, Williams is lifting Bawm into the air with a vertical suplex.)
HS: "What is Williams doing now?"
MK: "He’s taunting Bawm! He’s going to execute his own variation of the Fall-Out!"
HS: "That could KILL Bawm!"
MK: "Wait a minute, what is Bawm doing?"
HS: "He’s... he’s using the coffin to hold himself down!"
MK: "Williams can’t get Bawm up!"
HS: "And look, now Bawm is reversing it. HE HAS WILLIAMS UP!"
MK & HS: "OH MY GOD!"
(The crowd is stunned as Brian Williams lay unconscious on the entranceway. Bawm is screaming furiously at Williams and slowly climbs to his feet.)
HS: "BAWM JUST NAILED THE FALL-OUT ON WILLIAMS!"
MK: "HE JUST LANDED IT ONTO THE SOLID STEEL! WILLIAMS IS OUT!"
HS: "THIS MATCH IS OVER!"
(Bawm slowly picks up Brian Williams, struggling to do so. Williams is completely out of it, so Bawm has to lift his entire frame off the ground by himself. Suddenly, Kelly Gunns rushes over to Bawm aided by the cheers of the crowd, and together they get Williams up to his feet. Blood is gushing down both men’s heads, and Bawm’s is slow and thick, signaling that he is nearly running on empty.)
MK: "Kelly Gunns has interfered in this match again!"
HS: "She’s doing whatever it takes. I’m sure she can’t take this match any longer. If they don’t end this soon, one of them may very well be leaving in a casket and never coming out!"
(Once Williams is up, Bawm leans over and begins struggling to lift him up. The crowd cheers Bawm on as he screams in agony trying to lift the massive frame of the champion.)
HS: "In his condition, it probably seems like Bawm is lifting two tons rather than three hundred fifty pounds."
MK: "Look at him, he doesn’t have anything left."
(Bawm begins to lift Williams up into the air, but he soon has to drop him back, leaning the lifeless body of Williams on the coffin. Bawm coughs up more blood onto Williams’s chest and all over the coffin. Soon the fans begin to cheer wildly for him and Kelly as well.)
HS: "COME ON BAWM! YOU CAN DO IT! YOU’RE SO CLOSE!"
MK: "Oh... what the hell... LET’S GO BAWM! PICK HIS ASS UP!"
(Bawm struggles to lift Williams, but through all his exhaustion, loss of blood, and possible internal injuries, he is unable. Williams eventually slowly starts to come to, but Bawm continues to struggle, resiliently. The more Bawm struggles, the harder it seems for him to budge Brian Williams and soon his legs give up from underneath him and he collapses to ground.)
HS: "Bawm has just taken too much damage. He can’t get Williams up."
MK: "I think Bawm just passed out!"
(Williams begins to laugh mightily as Kelly Gunns looks on in horror. Bawm suddenly lunges out, trying to lift him again, but still Williams won’t budge. Bawm begins to use every thing he has, straining harder than he ever has before. Blood begins to flow from his nose and mouth, seeping in with the rest of the blood covering his face. A loud ‘POP’ echoes through the arena and Bawm collapses face down, at Williams’s feet.)
HS: "OH MY GOD! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?"
MK: "BAWM MAY HAVE JUST INJURED HIMSELF PERMANENTLY!"
HS: "And look at Williams... he is loving every minute of this! That man is a pure, soulless MONSTER!"
MK: "I can’t believe this. I’m in total shock. I’ve never seen a man more bloodied and beaten in all my life."
(Williams then bends over and lifts the flaccid body of Adam Bawm up to his feet. He then picks Bawm up into the air in another press slam position.)
HS: "OH, NO, DON’T WILLIAMS! PLEASE DON’T!"
MK: "DEAR GOD!"
(Instead of landing the Revelation, Brian Williams does the only humane thing he has done the entire match, and tosses Bawm into the casket and quickly slams it shut. The bell rings and the fans boo so loud that the entire stadium begins to shake. Kelly rushes over to Bawm’s aide, struggling to open the casket, and Williams ignores her, snatching his belt from the referee and heading up the ramp, refusing the aide of the EMT’s who immediately rushed to the scene.)
HS: "BRIAN WILLIAMS HAS RETAINED HIS TITLE, BUT AT WHAT COST?"
MK: "HURRY UP AND GET BAWM OUT OF THERE! DEAR GOD!"
(The EMT’s struggle with the coffin so they roll the entire thing up the entranceway with more than a sense of urgency. The crowd is completely silent now as the ring attendants rush to clean the bloody hell the two men left in the ring.)
HS: "I’m speechless, Mark... I must say that our thoughts and prayers go out to Bawm’s family, and his devoted fans. I feel so sorry for that poor woman, Kelly Gunns."
MK: "Let’s just hope that Bawm isn’t as seriously injured as he looks."
(We go backstage where we see the EMTs rolling the casket past the on-looking AWA World Champion of Xplosion, The Legendary Low, along with Ramona A. Stone, prepares for his own title defense. We then cut to a video montage taking us all the way back to the summer of 2003. Scenes from the matches between Low and Jayson Price are shown. We fast forward to last winter and are reminded of Low's stint as The Voyeur, taking the Cruiserweight title from The Fish and only losing it back by saying "I quit" while applying the Low Profile on Fish. We then see scenes from various confrontations between Low and The Fish earlier this year, including their outstanding Steel Cage Match at Vortex. Also, Steven Caldera made his return to the AWA to be in Fish's corner against his former arch rival Low. Finally, The Fish and Price are battling it out in a pair of outstanding matches on Xplosion earlier this month. We then cut back to ringside and join Xplosion's Larry and Frank.)
LP: "I must admit, that was quite the match between Williams and Bawm."
FJ: "Yes, carnage the way I love it. I wonder what is up with Bawm, though."
LP: "I'm sure we will get an update on him later on. But now Low, Jayson Price and The Fish are going at it for the World Heavyweight title."
FJ: "A ladder match that may define the history of the AWA forever."
LP: "Jayson Price has made it more than clear, he was going to make sure that Low doesn’t walk out of this match the AWA champion. Fish will also be on that boat, as the newly acquired manager Steven Caldera, one of Low’s arch nemesis’ will be in his corner tonight."
FJ: "Everyone is expecting the coronation of The Fish tonight, but let me tell you, Low is the greatest of all time. There's no doubt in my mind that once again, he will over come the odds, and remain OUR World Champion."
LP: "Ladies and gentleman, look at that ladder, fifteen feet high, and as you can clearly see, the World Title is hanging about the ring some twenty feet. The first man to grab that title will win."
("What Comes Around" by Ill Nino begins to play, and a mixed reaction of boos and cheers come from the sold out dome. Price approaches the ring, as he reaches it he looks up towards the ladder, and takes a good long glare towards the title. He enters the ring, and takes a corner waiting for his opponents.)
LP: "Misery looks focused tonight, and I don’t blame him, this could be the biggest night in his illustrious career."
FJ: "Oh great, here comes the Fish."
LP: "Followed by Steven Caldera at that."
(Erie music hits and the lights change to a blue tint and move in a way to make it seem that the whole arena is under water, the "Trendy" by Reel Big Fish hits and the lights flash back on as water shoots from the stage and the Fish dead sprints to the ring, slapping the occasional hand. Steven Caldera follows him to the ring, and Fish now also stops to look at the ladder and the gold that hangs above it. Steven Caldera gives him some inspirational words, and pats him on the back. Fish slides into the ring, and Fish and Misery size each other up one more time.)
FJ: "And the highlight of the night, the entrance of the greatest of all time, The Legendary Low!"
LP: "Well, I think Low has his work cut out for him tonight."
("I Wanna Be Your Dog" by Iggy Pop strikes up, and from the back followed closely by Ramona A Stone, comes Low. He looks towards the rafters and spots his title, he points to it and then to his own waist signifying it is his. He glares across the ring towards Caldera, and the two of them exchange heated words back and forth.)
LP: "Look how arrogant Low is."
FJ: "He’s not arrogant, he’s just damn confident, and he has the right to be."
LP: "Apparently Misery doesn’t agree."
(Misery slides out of the ring, Ramona tries to get Low’s attention away from Caldera, however Misery has done his part now. He drives a forearm into Low’s neck, and then delivers a series of knees on the outside. He pushes Low into the security barrier and begins to fire away. Low now comes around and starts to fire back. Both men stand there trading punches for a good long time, disregarding Fish on the inside.)
FJ: "What an underhanded tactic by Price, attacking the World Champ like that."
LP: "It's perfectly fine, he wants the belt just as much as Low does."
(The Fish, possibly feeling left out, hits the ropes and dives to the outside with a corkscrew plancha, knocking everyone to the ground. All three men lay there for a moment. Fish is first up. He grabs Low and pulls him up. He delivers a kick to the gut, and then goes for a DDT on the floor, however Price is up now and delivers a stiff kick into the chest of the prone Fish. Fish falls backwards as the kick echoes through the dome. Low drops as well, but is up again quickly. Misery drops down to begin his assault on Fish, but Low picks him off, spins him around and begins to deliver a series of punches into the skull of Price. He delivers a kick to the midsection, then whips Misery into the barrier. Low slides into the ring, shortly followed by The Fish.)
LP: "What an exciting start these three have taken after the rest of the show tonight and decided to give us a show."
FJ: "That’s Low for you, a true sportsman, and crowd pleaser."
LP: "Ahh... Frank, they hate Low,"
FJ: "Well, at least he doesn’t demoralize the entire AWA like The Fish does."
LP: "Damn it, Frank, Fish is a true stand up guy, he will fight for as long as it takes to get justice."
(Misery limps back towards the ring, and now Fish and Low square off. Low lunges forward and tries to grab Fish, but Fish ducks under and gets ready for Low again. This time Low fakes his lunge and Fish starts to duck but gets caught in the head with a boot. Low whips Fish into the corner and then charges in, hitting a clothesline. He takes Fish out of the corner and then places a foot into the back of Fish’s knee causing him to go down. Low then falls to the mat himself, executing the Fujiwara armbar. The Fish is writhing with pain now and we see Low reefing back as hard as he can on the elbow. Misery comes into the ring with some assistance now. He wields a steel chair and sneaks up on Low. Not aware of his presence Low gets blasted in the back of the head with the chair, causing him to release Fish and grab the back of his head.)
LP: "Ouch, that had to hurt."
FJ: "I would imagine so. Damn that Price, he doesn’t even want the title, he just wants Low to lose. He shouldn’t be allowed in this match."
LP: "He earned this match, Frank."
(Price throws the chair to the outside now and stalks Fish. Noticing the injured arm, Misery takes advantage. He delivers a single arm DDT, and now applies an arm bar of his own. He reefs back on Fish’s arm, and actually lifts him up from this position with the arm bar still on. He then drops back down again, with another single arm DDT. Misery releases now and goes over to Low, who is just now starting to get up. As he does this, Misery charges and attempts a clothesline, however Low catches him and delivers a turn around spinebuster, driving all the wind out of Misery. With both Fish and Price down, he starts towards the ladder. It is perfectly positioned under the title. As he gets to about the third rung Fish runs over and pulls him off the ladder. Fish whips him into the ropes and on the rebound hits a spinning heel kick. Fish now starts up the ladder, holding his one shoulder, and as he does this Price is up. Fish is about six rungs up now and Misery simply pushes the ladder over, causing Fish to fall awkwardly. Low is up now as well, grabbing Misery and hitting a release German suplex. Low repositions the ladder in the corner and viciously whips Fish into it as hard as he can. Fish grabs his back in pain as he connects full force.)
LP: "Wow, this could end up being a very violent match of its own."
(Low tosses Fish to the ground and then takes the butt end of the ladder and drives it down into Fish’s shoulder blade. He leans on it very heavily, using it to try and separate Fish’s shoulder. Low drops the ladder now and delivers a body slam on Fish. He walks towards Misery and hauls him up now. He whips him to the ropes and nails a Yakuza kick. Misery grasps his chest and rolls over in pain now.)
FJ: "Haha, I told you Low would be one hundred percent in control of this match."
LP: "It's far from over yet."
(Low walks over and arrogantly grins towards Caldera. He then looks at Fish who is down. He kicks Fish in the ribs and then stands the ladder up, taking his time, and starts to climb the ladder. Low makes it three quarters of the way up, but suddenly Fish springs to life, still favoring his shoulder. The Fish climbs up the other side of the ladder and now both men are high in the air. Fish grabs Low’s ankle, forcing him to climb down a step. Low and Fish meet eye to eye and then Low throws a right hand from between the rungs of the ladder. Fish retaliates with one of his own. Misery slowly gets up as the two are battling it out. He walks around and grabs Low as well.
Now all three men are on the ladder. As Misery grabs Low, Fish climbs almost to the top of the ladder. The weight of all three men makes the ladder sway back and forth and it comes dangerously close to flipping over. Fish makes a reach for the title but he is still too far away. He looks at Low and Misery as they battle on the other side. Fish takes a deep breath, then leaps over the one side of the ladder, grabbing Low’s head on the way down, and with a flip-over neckbreaker he takes Low all the way down to the canvas with him. Both men clear Jayson Price on their way down, but the force causes the ladder to tip over sideways. Jayson Price lands hard on the mat and rolls to the outside. Fish and Low are lying motionless in the ring.)
LP: "Oh my god! What a move by The Fish!"
FJ: "Ohhhh, I hope Low’s alright."
LP: "A devastating impact as The Fish delivers a flip-over neckbreaker on the Champion, off of a fifteen foot ladder."
FJ: "And look at Misery, he toppled as well and went all the way to the outside."
(We look at Fish and Low. It seems as though Fish has taken a lot out of himself as well. Caldera desperately tries to bring the Fish to life now. We see Low still lying there as Fish starts to get up slowly. Price, too, has made it up onto his knees. The ladder is now resting up against the ropes and we see Misery grabbing a hold of it and pulling it outside of the ring. Low finally rolls over and starts to get to his feet. Fish sees Misery on the outside and hits the ropes. He springboards over the top to the floor and delivers a hurricanrana on Price. Fish looks towards the fans and raises his arms. The fans almost blow the roof off the building now. Fish picks up Price and spins around just in time to receive a baseball slide from Low. Fish falls backwards into the barricade and we see Price disappear under the ring and then pull out a table. He sets it up in usual fashion and Low begins to pummel away on Fish. Misery sets the table up at ringside. Low grabs Fish and walks him towards the table now.)
FJ: "Wait, what is that Price up to now?"
LP: "He is setting up the ladder and Fish is stuck there on that table because of Low. "
(We see Low charge at Misery and miss with a lariat. Misery delivers a kick to the groin that sends Low down. Fish gets off the table now and both men go to work on Low. Misery holds him while Fish delivers some hard shots to the side of the head. Both men hook him up now and deliver a double suplex on the concrete floor. Fish and Misery look towards each other and then pull Low up again. Misery delivers a bodyslam while Fish leaps onto the apron. Fish comes off delivering a running shooting star press.)
LP: "Low is getting the holy hell beat out of him by both men. They are trying to eliminate Low from this matchup!"
FJ: "No..... NO..... NOOOOOOOOO!!!! This isn’t fair..... damn it."
LP: "Impressive maneuver by The Fish, though, off the ring apron."
(Fish picks Low up and then whips him into Misery, who delivers a backdrop that once again sends Low hard to the floor. Misery then grabs a steel chair. He raises Low to his knees and then takes two steps backwards, and then of course two steps towards Low again, striking him in the face with the chair. The crowd gasps as the shot echoes through the dome. Low cripples to the floor. Now Fish and Misery square off. They nod towards each other in a show of respect. Fish extends a hand but then gets corked with a chair shot of his own. Fish drops backwards into the security barrier. Misery takes his time to recuperate now. After a good minute we see that Low is moving again. He raises his face and we see the blood running down in between his eyes.)
FJ: "What a warrior, Low is getting up even after that disgusting two on one attack."
LP: "He knew what he was facing and he knew this was likely to happen."
(Misery doesn’t see Low moving now. He picks Fish up and places his head in between his legs. He hoists up Fish and attempts to powerbomb him through the table, however, Fish lifts himself and goes over top of Misery. Fish lands on his feet and as Price turns around he catches a dropkick in the head that sends him sprawling backwards and onto the table. Neither man sees Low slowly climbing the ladder, merely five feet away. Fish picks Misery off the table. Now Low is perched on top of the ladder. Fish decks Misery with a right hand that once again sends him sprawling over the table. Fish now sees Low and quickly backs off. From fifteen feet in the air, we see Low leap.)
FJ & LP: "OH MY GOD!!!"
(The crowd starts the "HOLY SHIT" chant now. Low leaped off the fifteen foot ladder with a frog splash onto Misery, right through the table.)
LP: "Possibly sensing that this match was slipping from his hands, Low just made a high risk, desperation move, and he may have just broken Misery in two."
FJ: "Low is pulling out all the stops tonight. Once you think you have him figured out, he goes and does that. I don’t believe it."
(As Fish stands over both men he takes the ladder, folds it and slides it into the ring. He now sets it up again and starts to climb towards the title. Caldera is cheering him on every step of the way. Slowly and surely a tired and exhausted Fish climbs the ladder. With each step he has to pause and force himself to take another. Now Low begins to stir, looking on through the blood in his eyes, and forces himself to give every last bit of energy in his body to get towards the ladder. Fish is more than half way to the top now. Low, however, gets there in time and grabs a handfull of Fish’s tights and pulls him off the ladder. Low attempts a superkick, but Fish ducks. Fish then tries the superkick himself but Low grabs his foot. Fish hops up and down for a bit and then attempts the enziguri, but Low ducks and Fish lands on his other foot. With Fish’s knee twisted a little, Low dives down and delivers a devastating dragon screw leg whip that nearly tears Fish’s knee out of socket. Fish screams and topples hard trying to grab for his knee, but Low holds on and then drags Fish to the ropes where he begins to work over his knee. Low places it on the ropes and jumps up, stomping on the knee. Fish rolls in pain and attempts to get up, however Low is right on top of him. Low dives into Fish’s knee with a chop block that once again sends Fish down and lets Low grab his leg. We see Low now turn and apply the figure four leglock on The Fish. Low grabs a hold of the ropes as well. The referee watches on and tries to get him to break it but he refuses.)
FJ: "A brilliant strategy, he can not climb a ladder if his leg is broken."
LP: "I must say Low looked like he was down and out, but he has come back now."
(Misery once again begins to move and we see him clutching his abdomen. As he slowly gets up we see him coughing. Misery grabs the very same chair that earlier split Low open. He sees the situation in the ring and pulls himself up on top of the ropes. He holds the chair against his knee and leaps.)
LP: "Bombs away, Frank!"
FJ: "No, not on Low, his face is so pretty..."
LP: "I think I understand the obsession with Low now."
FJ: "FIRED... that mean anything to you?"
(Misery connects with his assault and Low grabs his face again. He lets Fish go and Fish pulls himself into the corner. Misery now takes the chair and runs full speed, dropkicking it into Fish’s face. We look towards the mask of Fish and underneath the material we see that Fish is now busted open as well. Misery starts towards the ladder, but collapses.)
LP: "I think Misery is still feeling the effects of that suicidal frog fplash from Low."
FJ: "What a night, what a brutal match, and it all just adds to the shock and awe of what has already happened thus far tonight."
LP: "I agree."
(Slowly and surely all three men try to make it to the ladder. Each man crawls on hands and knees towards the ladder and their destiny that hangs atop it. Caldera is still shouting inspiration towards Fish. The bloodied and battered Low reaches the ladder first, then Misery. Both of them climb the ladder in sync. Low and Misery go stride for stride, Fish climbs behind them. Low and Misery are at the top of the ladder and Low grabs Misery’s head and starts to ram it into the ladder. Misery reels off to the side and Fish now has caught up. He squeezes past Misery who is hanging onto the side of the ladder. Fish takes another step and is now standing on top of the ladder. He reaches up for the belt but Low drives a fist into his gut. Fish doubles over and then Misery takes hold again. He grabs Fish’s foot and rips it out from under him. Fish falls awkwardly on top of the ladder, hitting Low on his way down and knocking both of them off the ladder. Misery is now the only one left on the ladder now.)
LP: "I don’t believe it, Misery is going to win this one. WE HAVE A NEW WORLD CHAMPION!"
FJ: "NO, DO SOMETHING."
(Low throws himself into the ladder with Misery only inches away from grabbing the title. The ladder falls and so does Misery. In the center of the ring lay Misery and The Fish. Low walks over to Misery. He scoops him up and delivers the emerald fusion right on top of the ladder. We look towards Misery as he appears to be out cold. We see blood dripping from a cut that has opened on top of Misery’s head. Low goes to the corner and tries to catch his breath and recover.)
LP: "An unbelievable display of determination from all three men tonight."
(Fish gets back up, limping now, and it seems as though he may have injured his knee even more. He runs towards Low, rather tenderly, and delivers a clothesline that knocks Low to the outside. As Fish grabs the ropes it appears as though he is going for a springboard bodypress, but Price sneaks up behind him, delivering a low blow.)
FJ: "A smart move by Price."
LP: "I thought you hated Jayson Price?"
FJ: "Not as much as I hate The Fish."
(As Low is still on the floor outside, Price steps under the top rope and looks down, plotting what to do now. Fish, however, hits the opposite ropes and hurdles the top rope, grabbing Price on his way down, delivering a bulldog onto the floor outside and directly on top of Low. Fish now seems to have a second wind. We look towards Low and Price. Price is actually laying on top of Low and both men are in severe pain and not moving very much. We see Fish grab the ladder and he sets it up near the ropes.)
LP: "How are these men still going?"
FJ: "I don’t know, I just don’t know"
(Fish looks towards the title, then towards the top of the ladder and then Low and Misery. He looks around and we can hear Caldera on the outside screaming for Fish to get the title, but instead Fish looks around and sees the 50 000 in attendance. He begins to climb the ladder. He finally reaches the top and stands there for a second. Fish raises his arms and EVERYBODY in the building stands and applauds. Fish motions his intentions.)
LP: (standing) "NO Fish, don’t DO IT!!! You’ll kill yourself!"
FJ: (standing as well)"PLEASE MISS..... PLEASE!!!"
(The sound of fifty thousand people being shocked and in awe fills the arena. Then a massive eruption of cheers becomes deafeningly loud.)
LP: "OH MY GOD....."
FJ: "I can’t hear you..... OH MY GOD!"
(We see Fish dive from the fifteen foot tall ladder all the way to the outside of the ring, hitting a corkscrew moonsault on both Jayson "Misery" Price and The Legendary Low!!! But it seems Fish has also severely hurt himself as well. All three men are completely motionless after this ungodly move by The Fish.)
FJ: "That idiot, he could have won the match!"
LP: "Frank, that was the Total Blue and it was for every single Fin-Follower and every single Fish-Fanatic out there!"
(A replay of the move strikes up and we split the screen in three to see the awe struck face of Steven Caldera during the move and the concerned face of Ramona as well.)
FJ: "I cannot believe what we are seeing, who got the best of that?"
LP: "I think Low may have, he is the only one moving. Low crawls into the ring, but he cannot even seem to be able to find the ladder. Ramona runs over and starts to yell directions to the weary Low. He slowly gets up and we see Fish begin to move on the outside. Low staggers towards the ladder and wipes the blood from his face. He sets it up. Fish gets in the ring and takes a wild swing at Low, out of desperation again, but Low ducks and delivers the Low Stunner!)
FJ: "THAT’S THE LOW STUNNER..... it's over..... it's over! Climb Low..... Climb!!!!!!"
(Low begins his slow, painful decent towards the top of the ladder. We flash to Jayson Price, who is moving ever so slightly. He senses the end is near and drags himself into the ring, screaming in pain with every move he makes. We look towards Low again, who now sees Price moving in. Low jumps down from the ladder to stop himself from taking another hard fall. Low then attempts a knee to the stomach, but Misery dodges to the side, picks up his chair, takes aim and swings, but misses. Low delivers a low blow that doubles Misery over.. Low sets the chair up in the middle of the ring. He grabs Misery turns him around backwards and delivers a VERTEBREAKER!!!!)
LP: "Oh no!"
FJ: "Take a seat, Jayson Price!"
(The chair collapses and Misery lays lifeless on the mat. Fish has come alive again, standing up on one leg. Low staggers towards him, wavering all over from blood loss and an extremely physically intense match. Fish attempts a hurricanrana but Low drops to his knees and hooks Fish’s legs. Fish screams in pain now as Low hooks the Low Profile!)
LP: "The Low Profile!!"
FJ: "Maybe he can break Fish’s back!"
LP: "Fish is in serious trouble."
(After minutes of trying to push himself up he finally gets to the ropes and tries to escape the hold, however Low drags him back into the ring. After another series of attempts to escape Fish finally drops to the ground. Low releases the hold and starts to climb the ladder. Low goes step by step until he finally reaches the top. He reaches up and as the ladder sways he reaches just a little higher.)
FJ: "HE’S DONE IT..... HE’S DONE IT!!!!"
LP: "Low is going to retain the title, Low RETAINS!!!!!"
(With the very last ounce of energy in Fish’s beaten body he throws himself into the ladder. The ladder almost tips over and Low almost falls off, which prevents him from grabbing the title. He regains his balance and again reaches for the belt, but Fish shakes the ladder violently, causing Low to take a step down. Fish fights his way to where Low is.)
LP: "Ladies and gentleman, Low was so close, he had his hand on the title, one more second and this match would have been over with."
FJ: (Almost in tears) "Damn you, Fish, damn you."
(Now both men are on top of the ladder, trading punches, each going back and forth. Finally, Low throws a haymaker that nearly knocks Fish off, in fact it is so hard that Low reels forward himself. Fish grabs on tight and then grabs Low's head. In one smooth fluent motion, Fish turns around and then brings himself and Low crashing down to the mat with a tornado DDT. The crows jumps in again..... "HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!")
FJ: "I can't believe this."
LP: "Jayson Price is out cold!"
FJ: "So is The Fish!!"
LP & FJ: "SO IS LOW!!!"
(All three men are still motionless and we see Misery tangled up with his bloodied head, twisted in a mangled and mutilated chair. We see Low laying with his head turned, the blood flowing down his face. And we also Fish, who is face up, with the blood also oozing from under his mask. STILL, no one moves.)
LP: "All three men have given it their all, all three men are bloodied and battered."
FJ: "Wait Low is moving..... Low is MOVING!!"
LP: "INCREDIBLE..... so is The Fish!"
(Low drags himself towards the ladder and Fish rolls over and does the same. Both men are dragging themselves towards the ladder now, only feet away. At the very same time both men plant hands on the ladder, at the very same time both men pull themselves up onto the ladder. Dramatically each man climbs as fast as he can, which after this is VERY slow. Both disregard the other totally and give every bit of life in their bodies to getting to the top. Each man reaches the third from last rung at the same time. Both of them look up towards the prize.)
LP: "It’s a race!"
FJ: "GO LOW..... GO..... GO!!!!!!"
LP: "No, damn it! GO FISH, this could be YOUR TIME!!!"
(We can hear Caldera screaming for the Fish to go faster and at the same time we hear Ramona screaming the same thing to Low. Each man gets a foot atop the ladder and it twists and contorts from too much weight. Fish and Low push each other and both reach for the title. Just then the ladder tips over sideways. Fish leaps and Low reaches. The ladder topples down and Fish grabs the title on the way. Low hits the mat hard as The Fish hits seconds later with the belt in his hands. All three men are still laying in the ring on their backs, bloodied and broken, as Fish gives his last ounce of life to hold up the title!)
LP: "I’m speechless....."
FJ: "(gasp)"
(Fish rolls over on the mat holding the belt close to his chest in an embrace.)
LP: "FISH HAS DONE IT . . . WE HAVE A NEW WORLD CHAMPION!"
FJ: "NOOOOOOOO!"
(Fish rolls over to his back and he is very emotional. Then on the ramp we see Brute, both the injured Peeks, and BlackJack coming to the ring. Brute gets to the ring first and pulls Fish up to his feet. They look at each other for a moment. Brute has a huge smile on his face, then the two hug as the crowd goes crazy. Fish then goes on to hug the other men that have come to the ring. The wrestlers, including Steven Caldera, then lift Fish high into the air on their shoulders, but he doesn’t even have the strength left in him to sit up.)
LP: "He's always been told he was too small . . . But tonight Fish proved all his doubters wrong and became the AMERICAN WRESTLING ALLIANCE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!"
FJ: (crying)"…why…Low…why?"
(Misery is leaving the ring with the referee, while Ramona assists Low out of it as well. Ramona yells at the men in the ring, but Caldera waves her off as fireworks go off throughout the stadium.)
LP: "50.000 people have witnessed history here tonight at Tropicana Field, as The Fish hs unseated The Legendary Low as OUR AWA World Heavyweight Champion!"
(Before Larry and Frank can say their goodbyes we suddenly go to what appears to be a medical facility either somewhere in Tropicana Field or somewhere in St.Petersburg. We see about five EMT workers frantically trying to revive AWA superstar Adam Bawm. Bawm, who is covered in blood, seems lifeless and motionless. Kelly Gunns screams frantically, ordering the EMTs to try and revive Bawm, holding back tears, though not very well. One of the EMTs has gelled up a set of defibulators and motions for his partners to step back. Bawm is hooked to a heart monitor, which beeps slowly, and sporadically.)
EMT: "CLEAR…"
(The EMT gives Bawm a jolt, but the heart machine does not change its pattern. Kelly turns away now, unable to watch, and this is when she catches the camera.)
Gunns: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? GET THAT OUT OF HERE!"
EMT: "CLEAR…"
(As Kelly rushes over to shove the camera out of the way, the heart monitor begins to slow even more and the EMTs grow weary.)
Gunns: "I SAID GET OUT!"
EMT: "CLEAR…"
(Gunns shoves the camera to the floor and all we see is a black screen, aided by the long, resounding BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP from the heart monitor...)
