AWA Wrestlefest V, November 30th, 2003, East Rutherford, NJ, Continental Airlines Arena
.....The AWA logo flashes across the screen and a birthday cake appears with a "4" and four candles on top of it. The picture is almost beige and has lots of scratches on it as a shaky trumpet version of "Happy Birthday" starts playing. In slow succession highlights of the previous four Wrestlefest shows appear on our screen..... Mercenary beating Poltergeist to become the first-ever AWA World Champion..... Lars Fredrickson, Jack Happy and Ray Owens battling over the World title..... The Legendary Low surviving the challenges of Ray Owens, Dave Santini and Steven Caldera..... and Ray Owens battling former partner Dave Santini and long-time enemy Steven Caldera.....
.....Suddenly, the four candles explode and in quick succession we see highlights of recent AWA shows, underlined by a punky guitar version of "Happy Birthday"..... Andy Peek wrestling, Damien Kross making his debut, The Voyeur lurking in the trees, King Chozen and Jeff Christianson returning, Bryan Peek winning the TV title, The Reverend, Amanda and BlackJack being involved in controversy, Quade DeSade bloodying The Truth, various scenes from the US title tournament including Adam Bawm and Animosity making their ways to the finals, and finally the many battles between Zeal and Brian Williams, including their Buried Alive Match and the time Zeal set Williams on fire.....
.....The music abruptly stops. A weird noise starts and in rapid-fire succession we see many former World Champions from the past four years, including Weston Steel, Crimson Dream, Theoren Spencer, Sabotage, Jack Happy, Ray Owens, Lars Fredrickson, The Punisher, The Legendary Low, Steven Caldera, Mortis Valley, The Hangman, Black Dragon, Drake Hyde, Dave Santini and Jeff Christianson, all with the belt in their hands, over their shoulders or around their waists..... until complete silence hits and a graphic with Zeal and Brian Williams is shown, the World title belt above their heads and the word "Tonight?" written across the screen.....
(Pyros go off and we are in the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The camera pans across the sold-out arena and spots signs such as "Tonight is Bawm's night", "I'm not a Fish, I'm a whale" and "Oh Zeal, where art thou?" We then go to our announcers' table.)
HS: "Good evening wrestling fans, welcome to AWA Wrestlefest V, celebrating our 4th anniversary and signalling the beginning of our 5th year in business. My name is Herb Summers..."
FJ: "And I am Frank Jackson, and Herb, tonight I think we will get along as good, if not better, as ever."
HS: "Yeah, this is my fear. Anyway, we won't waste much time and start with our Street Fight, as Quade DeSade takes on The Truth. This one is going to be a battle.”
FJ: “Yea maybe even a bloodbath, I’m so excited to see it.”
HS: “You’re such a heathen."
FJ: “It doesn’t matter what you think Summers.”
(Obie Trice hits the sound system and The Truth erupts out of the back seemingly on a mission to gain revenge tonight. He heads down the aisle way until he slides into the ring and takes a corner leaning back against it waiting for his opponent staring up the ramp way. “Sadness” now hits the PA and the lights go dark as the name QUADE DE SADE appears on the logon up on the fiery cruciform logo And De Sade appears on the ramp way and walks down to the spotlighted ring ignoring all around him with a smile of a crocodile on his face. But Truth waits no longer and quickly runs to the ropes and catapults himself over them into a cross body right on De Sade as they both hit hard on the outside of the ring.)
HS: “Truth is waiting no longer for this; he is starting things off fast.”
FJ: “Way to point things out Summers, Quade will get back in this, I know he will.”
(Truth stomps on de Sade hard and fast in the midsection outside the ring. The crowd gets behind him from that amazing opening blow. Truth picks up de Sade as the robe that he bares falls to the floor and Truth tosses de sade into the steal steps and jumps up on to the apron. He waves both his hands calling onto the crowd and drops a leg across the chest of de Sade laying on the ground he writhes in pain and de Sade slowly gets up hurting himself partially on that one. He gets up and de Sade begins to pull himself up by the apron and as Truth turns to him de Sade catches him in the midsection with a hard kick and then grabs his head and slams it against the apron as Truth stumbles backwards. Quade charges at him and knocks truth down hard with a clothesline as his body thuds to the outside ground. Quade stands over him and smiles as he kicks him in the midsection. And turns around to head back to the ring but gets a kick from the ground into his back from Truth and it se! nds him stomach first against the ring.)
HS: “This is going back and forth quickly and its only the beginning.”
FJ: “Things will change soon enough.”
HS: “Your always contradicting me
FJ: (In an immature voice) “You’re always contradicting me... calm down Summers people pay to listen to me.”
(Truth catches de Sade as he holds his mid-section and gives him a standing clothesline to the back and de Sade stumbles back against the ring and back to Truth as he hooks in a reverse ddt and plants him outside the ring. Truth picks up de Sade and tosses him into the ring as he goes to the barricade and grabs a steal chair and climbs the apron and the top rope. He holds the chair over his head and jumps off to drive a hard swing right across Quades mid-section but he gets the foot up and the chair goes right in Truths face and he falls hard to the ground and Quade grabs the chair as he gets to his feet. He grips it hard as he stands above truth and drives the end repeatedly into his midsection and finally tosses it aside and picks up The Truth. He hooks in a Russian leg sweep and drives truth back down hard to the mat on the steal chair and rolls over him for a cover. 1...2...kick out! Truth gets the shoulder up and De Sade clocks him in the head to send him back down.)
HS: “That was a close one, but Truth still has fight in him.”
FJ: “De Sade should have had it there, close call.”
(De Sade gets up to his feet and runs to the ropes but Truth catches him with a drop-toe hold right on to the chair and he gets up quickly to take the advantage. Truth picks up De Sade and sends him into the turnbuckle and De Sade bounces back to the center of the ring Truth catches him with a back elbow then dropkicks him into the turnbuckle and gives him a few punches and a kick to the gut. Truth brings De Sade down and lifts him up for a cradle piledriver and falls down hard with De Sades head landing hard and falling to his side, Truth rolls him for the cover. 1...2... another kick out. Truth goes to the top rope and gets his balance but De Sade kicks the ropes and Truth falls to the outside hitting his head hard on the barricade outside. Quade rolls out of the ring and kicks away at truth but Truth catches a foot and gets up giving Quade a hard Dragon screw into the barricade.)
HS: “That was an incredible move.”
FJ: “This is becoming a battle of the fittest.”
HS: “For once you don’t have some negative remar...”
FJ: “Only a battle of the fittest cause you’re not in there.”
HS: “You will never change. But that’s not important, Truth and Quade are pounding away at each other, Quade not be awake right now after colliding with that barricade.”
(Truth picks De Sade up and hooks him in a front face lock and gives him a swinging neck breaker then gets quickly to a knee base and hooks in the dragon sleeper as he stands to his feet and leans forward applying more pressure. Quade squirms in his sitting position and clubs at Truths head over and over Truth lets go and De Sade quickly turns on his knees to give him a low blow. Quade goes under the ring and pulls out a trashcan and sets it up next to the barricade lid down. He gets Truth in a headlock and charges to the trashcan kicking off the barricade and bulldogging him straight onto the trashcan. Truths skull thuds hard and he whiplashes back as De Sade gets back to his feet and kicks the trashcan aside eyeing Truth with a menacing smile on his face.)
HS: “That can’t be good for Truth.”
FJ: “That was incredible, did you see his head, Quade is a genius.”
HS: “You’re not human sometimes I swear.”
(He Picks truth up and whips him into the barricade and eyes gouges him then grabs his head and slams it against the ring post and slides into the ring as Truth stubbles backwards. Quade climbs the first rope of the turnbuckle and points a finger down at Truth and screams at him but Truth shakes it off and grabs both of De Sades legs and tugs him off the ropes as he crashes to his back on the mat and he pulls him hard and Quade’s family jewels are slammed against the ringpost and Truth slowly gets into the ring and picks up de Sade. Truth Picks De Sade up close to the turnbuckle and tosses him up on his shoulders for what looks like a Samoan drop against the turnbuckle but De sade wiggles free and lands outside the ring on the apron and hooks in a full-nelson and climbs the ropes locking in ‘ The Crucifier’ and Truth begins to struggle and try to get free but is merely just tightening the hold. Truth keeps struggling and De Sade jumps into the ring crashing Truth down as! Truth nearly passes out and lands face first on the chair that was still remaining in the ring. Quade rolls Truths tired body over and hooks the leg. 1...2...3...!)
FJ: “Quade finished the job.”
HS: “Quade De Sade has won the street fight after a grueling battle with Truth, but how is the Truth?”
("Sadness" starts playing and Quade rolls out of the ring with a satisfied look on his face. The camera cuts to the back where the AWA's own backstage interviewer, Belinda, is standing with The Voyeur.)
Belinda: "Voyeur, tonight you are making your AWA in-ring debut against The Fish. How is it that in your debut match you are already getting a title shot?"
Voyeur: "Belinda... I know the reason why I am getting an immediate title shot, and I am the only person that needs to know. (Chuckles) Well, me and George Slater, that is."
Belinda: "So what does Mr. Slater have to do with all this?"
Voyeur: "Well, go and ask him. Maybe he has nothing to hide after all. Who knows for sure? Well, I do. Just like I know a lot about you, Belinda, and it's certainly a lot more than you'd want the AWA fans to know."
"But as for FISH, he says good guys always win. So? He also said many other things that weren't true, and I showed them all to the world, 4 All 2 See. Tonight, FISH, I will take what I want, and that is your security, the AWA Cruiserweight title. I don't really care for that championship, but I care a lot about the power I have over you. Isn't it creepy that someone like me might know where to find you and... do something to you? Ask Emily Smith. Oh wait... she doesn't know a thing! (Chuckles)"
"FISH, please shine that belt up, just so it doesn't smell like Emily Smith's grandma... FISHY!"
(The Voyeur walks away.)
Belinda: "Back to Frank and Herb."
HS: "And we are gearing up for the second match of the night, as our newly crowned TV Champion Bryan Peek defends against Nash."
Ring Announcer: “This match is for the American Wrestling Alliance’s Television Title! First up, making his way to the ring, weighing in at 256lbs, the current reigning AWA Television Champion… BRYAN PEEK!!!”
(‘Elite’ blares out over the PA as Bryan Peek emerges at the top of the ramp, the TV belt slung over one shoulder. The crowd give a good response to the popular TV champion as Peek jogs down the ramp. He slides into the ring and mounts each turnbuckle in turn, holding the TV title aloft.)
Ring Announcer: “And his opponent, weighing in at 320lbs, NASH!!!”
(Nash enters as ‘St. Anger’ rings out and acknowledges the cheers from the crowd. He walks down towards the ring and slides under the bottom rope. He leans backwards into a corner, keeping his eyes locked on Peek.)
HS: “This should be a good match. Nash has a big physical advantage over Bryan Peek but Peek has the know how only champions have!”
FJ: “What? How much know how do you need to be TV champ? Nash’ll stomp all over Peek and move on to better things.”
(The bell rings and the two men circle each other warily. They lock together in the centre of the ring. After a brief struggle, Nash forces Bryan Peek’s arm behind him. Peek reverses the move and delivers a sharp elbow to Nash’s ribs. Nash grunts as Peek slams a second elbow in and he releases the hold. Peek bounces from the ropes and takes Nash’s legs out with a baseball slide. Nash falls to the mat and Peek drops an elbow. Bryan Peek drags Nash into the centre of the ring and picks him up. Peek kicks Nash in the gut and Nash doubles over. Bryan Peek then pulls off a well-executed neck-breaker. Peek picks Nash back up and Irish-whips him into the ropes. Peek then charges in with an elbow but Nash dodges it. Peek’s left elbow slams into the metal ring post and he clutches at it in agony. Nash swings a huge haymaker at Peek and sends Peek over the top rope.)
FJ: “Ouch! That was a huge hit from Nash!”
HS: “That’ll hurt in the morning.”
(Nash is rubbing his knuckles after the strong punch. Peek is still on his back outside the ring. Nash slips through the ropes and stands on the apron, watching Peek as he tries to get back up. Peek finally climbs to his feet using the Spanish Announcer table but as he does so, Nash leaps from the ring apron and smashes Peek on the back of the neck with a double axe handle. Peek drops to one knee as the referee begins his count. ONE! Peek has suck to his hands and knees as Nash winds up for a big kick. Nash catches Peek on the ribs, sending Peek a good two feet into the air and crashing back down. TWO! Nash hauls Peek up and whips him into the Spanish Announcers table. THREE! Peek crashes into the Spanish Announcers table, scattering the notes and microphones everywhere. FOUR! Nash grabs Peek’s head and bashes it against the corner of the Spanish Announcers table. FIVE! Peek tries to roll away from Nash but Nash has already started to yank him to his feet. SIX! Nash swings a couple of big right hands at Peek’s head, easily slipping past Peek’s dazed defences. Peek staggers backwards against the ring apron. SEVEN! Nash heaves Peek up onto his shoulders in a fireman’s carry and runs Peek’s back into the ring posts. EIGHT! Nash slings Peek into the ring and slips in afterwards, breaking the referee’s count. Peek has crawled into the centre of the ring by the time Nash has stood up. Nash bounces from the ropes and plants an elbow into the small of Peek’s back. Nash goes for the pin…1…2. Peek gets a shoulder up.)
FJ: “Nash almost won it there! He’s been dominating in the early stages.”
HS: “That’s an advantage Nash has at the beginning of most matches - his physical presence is enormous and it takes a long time to wear him down.”
(Nash hauls Peek back to his feet, whips him into the ropes and catches him with a nasty clothesline. Peek hits the mat hard. Nash climbs to the second rope and lands a big leg drop on Peek’s chest. Peek groans and rolls onto his front. Nash then picks Peek back up again and lifts him up for a body press. But Peek slips off his back and heaves him over backwards into a cradle pin! 1…2… Nash just kicks out!)
HS: “Against the run of the bout, Peek nearly snatches a win there!”
(Peek appears to have got a second wind. He’s risen the same time as Nash and ducks Nash’s awkward punch. Peek responds with a hard knee to Nash’s midsection. Nash totters backwards but is able to react in time as Peek comes in with a clothesline. Nash ducks and Peek’s momentum carries him into the ropes. Nash trips Peek up as he runs past again but Peek is straight back up. Nash tries to set up Peek for a pile driver, but Peek blocks it. Nash whips Peek into the ropes then backdrops Peek over the top rope, but Peek lands on his feet on the apron! Nash turns and is surprised to see Peek standing there and can’t react in time as Peek springboards over the ropes and pulls off a HUGE flying-DDT on Nash. Nash’s head is planted into the mat with immense force. Peek climbs to his feet but is limping heavily - the high-risk move has evidently shaken something up. Nevertheless, Peek still manages to roll onto Nash for the pin. 1…2… Nash just kicks out!)
HS: “My word, that was a hell of a move and nearly won it for Bryan Peek!”
FJ: “That was pure luck. Peek never expected to land on the apron. Nash was hard done by.”
HS: “What? Bryan Peek showed exceptional athleticism and all you can do is whine about it?”
FJ: “Yeah, whatever.”
(Nash is still flat on his back as Peek struggles to his feet. Peek manages to pick Nash up and delivers open hand strikes to his face and neck, the crowd WOO! After every strike. Nash is wobbling in the centre of the ring as Peek bounces off the ropes and connects with a flying clothesline. Nash doesn’t fall but staggers backwards against the ropes. Peek flies in with a dropkick, sending Nash over the top rope and crashing down onto the mats, landing awkwardly on his shoulder. He grunts in pain.)
FJ: “That looked painful. He may have dislocated his shoulder!”
(Nash has risen to a sitting position at the bottom of the ramp and is clutching his shoulder. Bryan Peek slips through the ropes and stands on the apron. Peek, using the ropes as leverage, jumps off the apron feet first, aiming for Nash. Nash sees him too late and cant dodge as Peek’s feet slam into his wounded shoulder. Nash snaps backwards and the back of his head bounces off the ramp. Peek has also hurt himself with that move and his holding his lower back. However, Peek is able to roll Nash back into the ring, just as the referee’s count has reached three. Peek viciously stamps on Nash’s injured right shoulder.)
HS: “Bryan Peek is working that shoulder. This is smart work.”
(Peek picks Nash up and whips him into the turnbuckle, making sure that Nash’s shoulder slams in first. Peek follows in quickly after with a high knee, crashing it into Nash’s chest. Nash stumbles forwards out of the corner and is met with a vicious DDT by Peek. Nash is sprawled on the mat, out cold. Peek heaves Nash up and slaps on a wristlock, pushing forwards on Nash’s hurt shoulder. Nash’s face screws up in pain and the referee checks to see if he wants to tap out. Nash shakes his head furiously but cries out as Peek applies further pressure.)
HS: “Bryan Peek has got a great lock on that hold. He’s got Nash in the middle of the ring!”
(Nash is trying to reach the ropes with him other hand but he is about two feet away. Peek jumps up and down, shaking Nash’s shoulder for all he’s worth. Nash sinks to a knee and shakes his head again as the referee asks if he wants to quit. Nash has begun to edge his way towards the ropes, with Bryan Peek desperately trying to heave him back. Nash inches ever closer and finally, with a superhuman effort, manages to get one hand on the ropes. Peek is forced to relinquish the hold.)
FJ: “I can’t believe Nash survived it! Did you see the way he dragged Peek over to the ropes? The guy’s an animal!”
(Nash has climbed to his feet just as Peek bounces from the ropes and connects with a shoulder block. Nash staggers back into the ropes and Peek strides forwards and drags Nash over to the ring ropes. He lifts Nash up to the top rope and climbs up also…)
HS: “The Annihilator! This match is over!”
(But Nash somehow manages to shake off Peek. Both men are standing on the top rope, trading blows. Finally, Nash swings a haymaker, sending Peek flying off the top rope and STRAIGHT THROUGH THE SPANISH ANNOUNCER’S TABLE!!! Splinters of wood and bits of microphone are everywhere and Peek is lying very still in the centre of the carnage. Nash has slipped off of the top rope and is rolling out the ring. Peek is still motionless. The referee’s count has begun. (ONE!) Nash picks Peek up but Peek’s legs buckle underneath him. Nash wraps his arms around Peek and delivers a belly-to-belly suplex in the midst of the debris. (TWO!) Nash has picked up Peek again and held on to him, to keep him standing up. A thousand small nicks and cuts are on Peek’s back, caused by the shattered table. (THREE!) Nash whips Peek towards the ring posts but Peek stumbles before he reaches it and as he falls, his head smacks into the edge of the ring.(FOUR!))
HS: “This match has turned on its head! Peek looks out of it!”
FJ: “Yes! I knew Nash could do it! He’s got this wrapped up!”
(Nash stamps on Peek and hauls him up again. Peek doesn’t know where he is. He’s reeled off towards the edge of the ramp but Nash has clamped a big hand on the back of his neck. (FIVE!) Nash picks Peek up by the back of the neck and hurls him into the steel steps. (SIX!) Peek, somehow, has managed to get back to his feet and is trying to get into the ring. Nash aids him by picking him up and bodily hurling him through the ropes. Nash slides in afterwards, stopping the count. Nash whips Peek into the ropes and pulls of a hammerlock into a face-buster. But as he’s whipping Peek around, one of Bryan Peek’s flailing feet smacks the referee in the face, sending him flying out of the ring! Nash goes for the pin but the referee is unconscious outside on the mats!)
FJ: “ONE! TWO! THREE! Hey! Ref! Get another ref! Nash has won the match!”
HS: “The referee’s out cold, Frank! There’s no one to do the three-count!”
FJ: “This is disgraceful!”
(Nash covers Peek for about six seconds before he realises there is no referee. He slides out of the ring and picks the referee up, lightly slapping his face to try and get some response. The referee is out for the count. Disgusted, Nash drops the referee back down in the wreckage of the Spanish Announcer’s Table and climbs back into the ring. Bryan Peek has managed to climb back up to a wobbling vertical base but is instantly floored by a big right hand by Nash. A second referee has begun to jog down the ramp just as Nash attempts to whip Peek into the ropes. Peek reverses it and instead, Nash is send rebounding from the ropes and is met with a huge body press from Peek! Nash is sent sailing over the top rope and crashes down on the replacement referee who has only just reached the bottom of the ramp! The second referee absolutely flattened by Nash and is in an unconscious heap at the bottom of the ramp!)
HS: “I don’t believe it! That’s two referee’s out cold!”
FJ: “This is great! Two referee’s knocked out!”
(Nash scrabbles to his feet and looks at Bryan Peek, who has sunk to a seated position in a corner on the bottom rope, trying to recuperate. Nash dives into the ring and Peek stands up quickly. Nash and Peek trade blows, with Peek emerging triumphant. Peek swings a few more right hands before rugby tackling Nash into the corner. Peek slams his shoulder into Nash’s gut three or four times before clambering to the top rope. Peek waits, crouched on the top rope, for Nash to turn around. As he does so, Peek launches himself off the top rope and connects with a massive spear. Nash is floored!)
HS: “There’s still no referee! Nash is out but there is still no referee!”
(Peek, realising this, stamps on Nash a few times. Suddenly, a cheer from the crowd erupts as a third referee runs down the ramp. He leaps over the body of the second referee and dives into the ring, just as Peek covers Nash. 1…2… NASH KICKS OUT! Peek is furious but Nash kicked out in time! Peek is berating the referee, blaming him for not getting to the ring quick enough. Nash, meanwhile, has slipped from the ring. He’s gone over to the ring announcer and has wrenched the TV Belt from his grasp. Nash slips back into the ring, with the belt in his grasp. He creeps up behind Peek who is still arguing with the referee. The referee sees Nash just before he was about to bring the TV Belt down on Peek’s head and cries out. Peek spins around and dodges out of the way just as Nash was bringing the belt down. The third referee, however, takes the belt full in the face!!!)
FJ: “Oh my God! This is ridiculous! There’ll be no referees left!”
HS: “This is absolute carnage!”
(Nash throws the belt at Peek, who takes it full on the chest, drawing out a grunt. Peek and Nash lock up over the third referee’s comatose form. Peek emerges triumphant and gets Nash into a headlock. Nash straightens his back, reversing the move into an impromptu backdrop and Peek is flipped over his head and lands on the third referee. That cushioned the blow somewhat and Peek is able to react in time and dodge Nash’s leg drop. Both men spring to their feet. The first referee has begun to stir from the wreckage of the Spanish Announcer’s table and has crawled to the ring apron.)
FJ: “Hopefully, he won’t get knocked out again!”
(The men lock up again and Peek whips Nash into the ropes. Nash is sent to the mat with a dropkick and Peek follows up with a few evil kicks to the ribs. Peek picks Nash up once more and again sends him into the ropes. He hoists Nash up…)
HS: “Peek Culture! He NAILED Peek Culture! Nash is out!”
(But the referee is still outside the ring. Peek has Nash pinned but the referee cannot see what is going on! Peek hauls the referee into the ring and points. He dives for the pin again and the referee begins his count. 1……………..2…………….. NASH’S FOOT IS ON THE ROPES! Peek can’t believe it! He heaves Nash to his feet again and slaps him across the face. Nash’s head snaps sideways and he staggers into the ropes. Peek kicks Nash solidly in the gut and Nash doubles up. Peek executes a face plant, jamming Nash’s mug into the canvas. Peek hoists Nash up once more and sets him up for a power bomb. But Nash slips down Peek’s back and shoves him hard into the turnbuckles! Peek slams chest first into the top buckle and is evidently winded. The referee has just about regained his footing, though he still looks dazed. Nash spins Peek around and connects an evil head butt, sending Peek reeling backwards into the corner. Nash follows in with an elbow, snapping Peek’s head sideways. Nash then whips Peek into the opposite turnbuckle with such force, that Peek bounces out and is met with a hip toss.)
FJ: “I can’t believe both men are still fighting! They must be running on empty!”
HS: “Both men have shown great resolve and athleticism and they’re still going at it!”
(Peek has scrabbled back to his feet but is hip tossed again upside down into the corner. Nash steps back and charges forwards with a spear. He doesn’t connect well as Peek has just slipped off the top rope and Nash charged in, but it is still a powerful blow. Nash picks Peek up again and sets him up on the top rope. He climbs up also and looks to be trying to set Peek up for a suplex, but Peek has somehow reversed it! Through sheer instinct, Bryan Peek has caught Nash with an uppercut and has Nash in a headlock…)
FJ: “Oh no! This is the Annihilator!”
(Peek leaps from the top rope and lands the Annihilator perfectly. Both men seem to out but Peek just manages to turn over and rest an arm across Nash’s chest. 1…..2…..3!!!!!! Peek wins! He retains the TV Title!)
HS: “WHAT A MATCH! That was a great match! Bryan Peek successfully defends the TV Title! But what about the carnage! Three referee’s knocked out and the Spanish Announcer’s table flattened!”
FJ: “I have to say it, Herb, but that was a superb match! It had everything! Hell, I’m even not that bothered that Peek won!”
HS: “My word! Here come the paramedics to check on the referees, and the wrestlers no doubt!”
(The crowd cheer Peek as he raises the belt up. Groggily, he slips from the ring and makes his way up the ramp. Nash is still out cold and the paramedics are trying to get him on a stretcher as we cut to the back. We see the AWA World Champion Zeal making his way into the arena.)
FJ: "Whoa, this is the first time in quite some time that we see the AWA World Champion Zeal. And I hope so much that Brian Williams wins the title tonight, because I long for the days of great champions in the mold of Black Dragon, Dave Santini or The Legendary Low."
HS: "Well, I would..."
FJ: "Shut up!"
HS: "No, because..."
FJ: "Shut up, Herb!"
HS: "I'm paid for..."
FJ: "Shut uuuuuuuupppppp!!!"
(Herb almost kills Frank with his look as we cut to a quick commercial for the Decmber 14th Shock, which promises to be a very special night. We then cut to a graphic that says "WRESTLEFEST I HIGHLIGHTS" and we see highlights from November 21st, 1999, including Mercenary beating Poltergeist to become the first-ever AWA World Heavyweight Champion and Shane Solomon taking on The Boxer in the AWA's first-ever pay-per-view match. We then go back to Frank and Herb.)
HS: "Up next is a match between two of the longest-serving AWA superstars, "Dark Warrior" Jeff Christianson and King Chozen. Both men have returned recently, but even though many of the people they were struggling against in the past have left the AWA, both Chozen and Christianson have somehow failed to capitalize on that."
FJ: "Blabla, let's go to our ring announcer!"
Ring Announcer: "Introducing first, standing at six foot two inches tall, two hundred fifty pounds. From New York City... KKKKiiiinnnnnngggggg CCCChhhhhoooooozzzzzzzeeeeennnnnnn."
(The crowd erupts with cheers has "Dirty Beats" by Roni Size blares over the pa. King Chozen steps through the curtains and walks down towards the ring with his usual gear on. He walks up the stairs connected to the ring and steps through the middle of the rope.)
HS: "It looks like these two old rivals are going to go at it again."
FJ: "Old Rivals? How can you say that? King Chozen never won a match in this series."
Ring Announcer: "Introducing next standing in at Six foot four inches tall, two hundred and forty pounds, now residing in Los Angeles California, 'Dark Warrior' Jeff Chrrrrriiiiissssstttttttiiiiiiaaaaaaannnnnnnssssooooonnnnnnnn."
("Moment of Clarity" by Jay-Z blares over the PA. The crowds cheers quickly turn into booing the Forth Grand Slam Champion, Jeff Christianson. He walks by, as if he's prepared for the match, with Paige unusually follow behind him. She stands by the ring, as Jeff Christianson slowly rolls into the ring. He stars Chozen down for a minute, and then poses for the crowd. He again gets a verbal thrashing from the crowd as he smiles and takes his corner.)
HS: "He looks ready tonight."
FJ: "He told me yesterday, while I was having lunch with himself and Paige, that he has put back on all the weight George Slater told him to lose."
HS: "Good, finally glad to see him at a comfortable weight again."
FJ: "I never thought I'd here you compliment him..."
HS: "I never thought a lot of being your partner out here... But it's a good paying job."
(Meanwhile, we see Jeff Christianson and King Chozen in the middle of the ring starring each other down. They lock up and Jeff Christianson quickly goes for a headlock. King Chozen uses his strength to pick Jeff Christianson up and throw him forward, forcing Jeff Christianson to release the hold. Jeff Christianson looks surprised at this, and slowly gets up.)
HS: "Jeff doesn't look to be on the top of his game..."
FJ: "You wait until the match gets underway."
HS: "The bell has all ready rang."
FJ: "It has... Interesting to know that I didn't hear it."
HS: "How can you hear it when you're constantly babbling about stuff that a normal announcer wouldn't say."
FJ: "That's why I was hired? My uniqueness of course."
(Jeff Christianson quickly locks back up with King Chozen, this time, however instead of going for a headlock, he surprises Chozen by grabbing his arm and wrenching it behind his back for a hammerlock. He then picks King Chozen up and lands an orange crush powerbomb on him. The referee counts. One... Two... And Chozen kicks out.)
FJ: "I told you, once the match starts--"
HS: "What an impressive kickout by King Chozen. He showed that he was a veteran there and took in some wind."
(Jeff Christianson and Chozen quickly back up to their feet. Jeff Christianson charges at King Chozen, only for Chozen to duck down and pull the top rope. Jeff Christianson, using his resources available grabs the middle rope and hands on to it. He sits on the ring apron for a minute, only to be dropkicked off the ring apron into the steel guard rail. King Chozen waits for Jeff Christianson to turn around, as he does, King Chozen spring boards off the top rope and attempts a hurracanrana, but is caught by Jeff Christianson, who is backed up against the guard rail. King Chozen quickly punches him, and swings Jeff Christianson to the floor. The referee begins his count. King Chozen is quickly to his feet, as Jeff Christianson slowly gets up. King Chozen grabs Jeff Christianson and throws him over the guard rail. As his opponent rises, he then jumps on the guard rail and hits Jeff Christianson with a dropkick.)
HS: "What a move by King Chozen..."
FJ: "Yeah... What a move... He could have hurt himself more than Jeff Christianson, if it wasn't for Jeff Christianson landing on a chair."
(The referee's count is at five as King Chozen is the first to his feet. He quickly heads towards Jeff Christianson who finally gets to his feet. As he does, King Chozen quickly grabs Jeff Christianson by the neck and throws him over the guard rail. The referee's count is now at eight as he quickly hops the guard rail, and rolls in the ring, and then back out to break the count.)
HS: "Chozen is in his environment..."
FJ: "Which obviously isn't technical wrestling."
(The referee begins the count again. Chozen reaches under the ring, and finds a steel chair, much to his delight. He throws the chair at Jeff Christianson who catches it unsuspectingly kicks the chair into his face.)
FJ: "Now is that legal?"
HS: "Are they inside the ring? What a Vandaminator by King Chozen."
(The referees count is now at three as Chozen stands back up. Chozen grabs the chair, which looks indented with the face of Jeff Christianson, and places it on Jeff Christianson's body. He turns around and does a backflip.)
FJ: "The referee's count is at five, and Chozen again hurts himself... There is no justice in hurting yourself."
HS: "True, but think of how bad Jeff Christianson is hurting now."
(The count is now at seven, with King Chozen standing up, still holding his stomach. He grabs Jeff Christianson by the head and rolls him in the ring at the count of eight. Chozen quickly slides in and begins stomping on Jeff Christianson. King Chozen slowly begins to pick Jeff Christianson up. Midway through, Jeff Christianson out of nowhere low blows him, And then catches him with a DDT. Jeff Christianson wastes no time by pulling King Chozen up, and throwing him to the corner. Jeff Christianson charges in with a clothesline to the chest, but pushes Chozen back into the corner. He now grabs King Chozen's right leg and wraps it around the middle rope. He punches King Chozen twice, and then jumps up and drives his knees on King Chozen's knee causing a serious amount of pain. Jeff Christianson then lifts Chozen out of the corner nailing a shin breaker. Jeff Christianson applies the figure for leglock on King Chozen who quickly turns the maneuver where Jeff Christianson will feel pain as well.)
HS: "It looked like Jeff Christianson had an impressive offensive battle there until Chozen reversed one of his key maneuvers."
FJ: "Really. Like we couldn't have seen that Herb."
(With both men out of the figure four, Chozen slowly gets up, holding his leg. Jeff Christianson, who was first to his feet charges at King Chozen, only to be met with a right uppercut. This knocks Jeff Christianson back a few feet which allows King Chozen to head towards him, without fear of being with another maneuver. Jeff Christianson slowly turns around just to be picked up using a stalling vertical suplex. King Chozen quickly gets off the mat and goes outside to the ring apron. He grabs the ropes and springboards inside the ring landing a shooting star press. Chozen rolls off in pain, but able to crawl back and hook Jeff Christianson's legs. The referee counts; One... Two... Thre...)
HS: "I can't believe that Jeff Christianson kicked out of that one."
FJ: "I can... Chozen can't keep down a great technical wrestler like Jeff Christianson for long."
HS: "Frank, sorry to tell you but Chozen isn't a technical wrestler. Maybe that's why Jeff Christianson has so much trouble going toe to toe with a veteran like King Chozen."
(Chozen Slowly gets to his feet, still hold his stomach. Jeff Christianson begins to stir. Chozen runs at the ropes, with Jeff Christianson's back to him and as Jeff Christianson gets to his feet, King Chozen quickly kicks his left leg, knocking Christianson back to the ground, and possibly the wind out of him. King Chozen seizes this opportunity and applies a modified version of the Boston Crab to Jeff Christianson. We can hear Jeff Christianson screaming in pain.)
HS: "What's your hero doing now? It sounds like he's screaming for his mother."
FJ: "I think that's just his war cry."
(Jeff Christianson raises his hand as if he's going to tap out, but quickly grabs King Chozen's ankle and begins to twist it, Chozen drops Jeff Christianson's legs and swiftly kicks Jeff Christianson in the back, which causes Jeff Christianson to let go of the anklelock. King Chozen turns around towards Jeff Christianson who got up rather quickly. He kicks King Chozen in the stomach and slowly walks behind him. He grabs King Chozen's hand and drops him down with a Diving Reverse DDT.
HS: "Jeff Christianson with a diving reverse DDT! (aloud ringing noise is heard).. is that your cell phone Frank?"
FJ:(answers the phone) "Hello? Annette? Big news eh? Jayson is coming to ringside. All right, thanks for the tip..."
HS: "Of all the unprofessional..."
FJ: "Hey, it was a business call..."
HS: "Unlike the ones you make during the commercial breaks then."
FJ: "Right... hey!"
( Herb and Frank might have argued for longer but Jayson Price begins to climb the barrier behind him. )
HS: "Woah, Jayson, this is sooner than we expected you. According to what I heard from your phone call with Frank you have some sort of big news."
Price: "Yes, you are correct. I am coming back, effective immediately. But that is not my big news."
FJ: "So how soon will Brian Williams get to dismember you."
Price: "Ah, Brian Williams, that's part of my big news. Odds are I will be coming after Brian, someday in the near future. But while I was off healing I realized something.. Brian Williams, he did me a favor."
HS: "What?"
Price: "He showed me what happens when you give an inch of respect to someone, when you show any form of compassion, when you give you your edge according to morals, according to the whim of other wrestlers' safety. You know what happens when you do this?"
FJ: "You get your butt kicked."
Price: "For once you're actually right Frank. You become a victim. I will not be a victim anymore, I won't get things go any longer. Welcome to the pit of despair."
(Jayson Price tosses aside the headset and walks towards the ring. King Chozen reverses a whip into the ropes and goes for a backdrop, Jeff half leaps over it, but is dropped into the official by Chozen. King Chozen rolls from the ring and grabs a steel chair. He brings in into the ring and then hits the dangerous DDT on Christianson. He uses the ropes and sets up for the triple jump moonsault, but Jeff gets the knees up. He sets up Chozen and nails the piledriver. Jeff slaps the referee in an attempt to wake him and then hooks in the dragon sleeper. However Jayson Price creeps into the ring and snatches the chair. He climbs the ropes and drops down from the top rope with the chair right across the back of the skull of Christianson. Jayson smiles and rolls out of the ring leaving the fans confused.)
FJ: "I always thought he respected Dark Warrior back when they were competing."
Price: (on his way by) "What do you know, looks like I figured out a counter to the dragon sleeper no?"
(The referee gains conscienceness and begins to get up slowly. As he shakes the cobwebs off, he sees a steel chair on the back of Jeff Christianson, who barely has King Chozen covered for a pin. The referee drops down to count. One... Two... Thre...)
HS: "What a kickout."
FJ: "That fool Jayson Price could have just caused Jeff Christianson the match."
HS: "Yeah, I will say that if Chozen wins this match, he will have help on his first ever win over Jeff Christianson."
FJ: "That's not enough to bring Jeff Christianson down... Or at least I hope not."
(We now see Jeff Christianson rolled over beside King Chozen. The referee has started his ten count. One... Two... Three... Four... King Chozen begins to stir. Five... Six... Seven... King Chozen has crawled to the ropes. Eight... Nine... King Chozen has made it to his feet, and walks towards Jeff Christianson, who is still out cold from the chair shot.)
HS: "It looks like Chozen is going in for the kill."
FJ: "Maybe... But you never know when Jeff Christianson will pull a trick out of his bag."
(Chozen grabs Jeff Christianson's head and pulls him up slowly. When Chozen Finally has Jeff Christianson on his feet, Jeff Christianson's body nearly collapses on King Chozen who looks kind of surprised that Jeff Christianson is still out. Then, all of a sudden Jeff Christianson catches King Chozen with a poke in the eye, causing King Chozen to turn around holding his eye. Jeff Christianson points to his head as if he thought of it all along.)
HS: "Now that was low."
FJ: "I suppose you're right. Low would have done the same thing."
(With this, Jeff Christianson quickly runs up behind Chozen and puts his arms around Chozen and throws him back for a vicious German suplex. Jeff Christianson gets up quickly and smiles. King Chozen slowly crawls to the ropes. Jeff Christianson stands in the middle of the ring posing. King Chozen gets to his feet and turns around and begins running towards Jeff Christianson who falls backwards on the ground, grabs King Chozen's leg and rolls him up into a rolling Boston crab.)
FJ: "He told me at lunch yesterday that he was going to pull out all the stops, and now I see where he's going with it."
HS: "We haven't seen that move in a while. Maybe the Jeff Christianson of old is truly back... Not that it is a good thing of course."
(Jeff Christianson sits back and continues to pull at King Chozen's Right leg. All of a sudden he stands up, still holding the leg and drops backwards again, applying the ankle lock on King Chozen's right ankle.)
FJ: "Can he impress this crowd anymore?"
HS: "Frank, the crowd booing isn't a mark that they like him."
FJ: (Speaking sarcastically) "I thought they did. Guess you learn something new everyday."
(King Chozen's face grimaces in pain as he finally taps out. Jeff Christianson release the hold. Paige quickly walks up the ring stairs, and helps out Jeff Christianson who took a serious beating in this match.)
HS: "Jeff Christianson, blood and all fought hard in this match. I'll give him the credit he deserves on this one."
(The scene quickly flips backstage where we see Belinda’s, AWA’s pleasant and bright backstage reporter, smiling face. The camera pans out revealing that she is standing next, well if next is the right term, for he overshadows her by nearly two feet, to the Nuclear Nautilus, Adam Bawm. Holding a microphone to her mouth, she speaks, mostly directed towards him.)
Belinda: “I’m standing backstage with AWA superstar, and self-proclaimed ‘Most Recognizable Man in the World’, Adam Bawm. Mr. Bawm, you have what promises to be an intense match up with Animosity later this evening for AWA’s coveted United States Championship. However, you have been noticeably, and uncharacteristically silent coming into this match. Why the sudden change and what are you thoughts about your upcoming match?”
(Bawm sighs deeply, almost frustrated, and starts to turn away. But he catches himself, pops his neck from side to side, and takes the microphone from Belinda, glaring right into the camera.)
Bawm: “What do you mean, silent? Listen here dammit, I’ve been around. I’ve just been too focused on that damn US title that I guess I haven’t stopped to smell the metaphorical roses of sorts. I mean, hell, I even had a segment made, but I’ve been so absent minded and focused on training for that title, that I forgot to air it!”
(Bawm feigns a laugh, then continues.)
Bawm: “And do you know why I’ve been training so hard?”
Belinda: “Why don’t you tell us?”
Bawm: “It’s because I can’t bear to lose another title match. I’ll be a failure. Everything I stand for, just washed down the drain! I don’t even know if I can live with myself.”
(Belinda’s eyes go wide with surprise.)
Belinda: “Really?”
Bawm: “Of course not. Now get out of my way woman, I’ve got a US title to win.”
(With that, Bawm storms off, leaving Belinda to her thoughts.)
FJ: "What a jerk."
HS: "Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, up next is the 4-way match between Andy Peek, Bobo, the returning John Blaze and Damien Kross. Let's go to our ring ann................................."
(Suddenly the entire screen goes dark and for about 2 minutes we sit without anything on our screen. After said 2 minutes are up, a graphic appears on our screen, saying "Dear paying AWA customer, the pay-per-view operator has a technical problem. We wish to apologize for the inconvenience. Every customer contacting our offices will receive a free video of Wrestlefest V, including the missing footage."
We have to read this message for at least another 10 minutes, until we return to the arena just in time to see Andy Peek hitting Bobo with the X-Ecution. The referee goes down and counts 1..... 2..... 3! Andy Peek wins. "X-Ecutioner Style" starts playing and Andy Peek celebrates with the crowd.)
HS: "I have been told that our audience at home has rejoined us again. We are terribly sorry for what just happened, but we've been told by pay-per-view executives that everybody will get their money's worth eventually."
(We cut to a graphic saying "WRESTLEFEST II HIGHLIGHTS" and are taken to San Francisco's Cow Palace on November 12th, 2000. We see AWA legends Jack Happy and Weston Steel battling it out..... Dave Santini battling against CarnEvil, Sabotage and Transfusion..... scenes from a Ten Feet Under Match between Atlas Johansson, Lance Mason, Anton Chekov and Danny O'Shea..... D-Nutts taking on High Velocity..... The Hangman, Snakebite and C-Rock battling it out in a Gold Rush Match..... and finally Lars Fredrickson defeating Jack Happy and Ray Owens to win the AWA World Heavyweight title. We then go to a short video package highlighting The Fish's battles for the AWA Cruiserweight title before we go back into the arena.)
HS: "Up next, ladies and gentlemen, is the match for the AWA Cruiserweight title, as The Fish defends against the debuting Voyeur."
(“Hurt“ by Nine Inch Nails starts playing. The lights go dark and purple lights and haze start filling the stage. The Voyeur comes out from the back to few, but energetic boos from the crowd. He doesn't seem to care for the crowd, though, and simply walks down the ramp and into the ring.)
HS: “What a strange fellow.“
FJ: “Well, I like him.“
HS: “Yeah, after seeing what he's been up to the last week or so, I can understand why. The Voyeur is making his AWA debut tonight and people have been wondering why he is getting a title shot in his debut.“
FJ: “Maybe he knows something about Slater that Slater doesn't want everybody else to know?“
HS: “Well, my sources told me George Slater and Mortis Valley agreed to put every title up for grabs on this special night, marking the AWA's 4th anniversary, and The Voyeur, if a virtual unknown, was the only available challenger.“
FJ: “I think my sources are better sources than yours.“
(The lights turn to blue and it almost appears as if the entire Continental Airlines Arena is under water. “Trendy“ by Real Big Fish starts playing and the lights flash back on as water shoots from the stage. The Fish, slapping hands along his way, starts running down the ramp and then slide sinto the ring to a huge reaction from the New Jersey crowd.)
HS: “Today The Fish holds the AWA Cruiserweight title for 80 days, winning it from Whisper on September 11th. The Fish thus breaks all the previous Cruiserweight title longevity records set up by the likes of Michael Gaines, Whisper and The Legendary Low...“
FJ: “Whom we sadly haven't seen since Last Man Standing, I might add...“
HS: “Yes, very sadly.“
(The referee signals for the bell. The Voyeur and The Fish lock up and The Voyeur easily wins this test of strength. He pushes Fish towards the corner, but quickly grabs Fish's arm and lands a quick arn drag.)
HS: “The Voyeur has the clear size advantage, barely being able to compete in the Cruiserweight division at 234 pounds. The Fish, on the other hand, only weighs 165 pounds.“
(Lock-up again and Voyeur gets the advantage again. He breaks the lock and nails Fish with a loud chop to the chest, followed by a snapmare. He picks Fish up and hits a bodyslam, followed by a kneedrop to Fish's head. Cover only gets 1, though. Both men are back up and Voyeur again hits an arm drag. He then goes into the ropes, bounces off and goes for a HIGH elbow drop, but Fish rolls out of the way and the crowd awakes! Fish starts pounding away at Voyeur and forces him into the corner. Fish jumps up and hits a headscissors. Voyeur is back up, but Fish nails him from behind with a dropkick. Both are back up and Fish quickly goes up again and hits a huracanrana. The Voyeur quickly rolls out of the ring and takes a break, while Fish celebrates with his Fish Fanatics.)
FJ: “And The Voyeur is doing the smart thing.“
HS: “He indeed gives us some time to recap the previous Cruiserweight title battles at Wrestlefest. In 2000, at Wrestlefest II, The Legendary Low successfuly defended the title against The Needle in what was Low's first singles match on pay-per-view.“
FJ: “Wrestlefest III featured The Fast And The Furious and The Extreme Icons in a tag team battle that was for both, the Cruiserweight and Hardcore titles.“
HS: “And Wrestlefest I and IV had no...“
FJ: “Whoa! Fish just springboarded out of the ring and hit a shooting star press on The Voyeur on the outside! Spectecular maneuver.“
HS: “Well, Fish doesn't like people hiding in the bushes.“
(On the outside Fish starts pummeling Voyeur with lefts and rights to the head. Fish then rolls Voyeur back into the ring and climbs the apron. As Voyeur is back standing again, Fish uses the ropes as a springboard again and hits a flying back elbow. Cover gets Fish 1..... 2..... and a kickout! Both men back up and Fish starts running and hits a nice Tornado DDT. Fish goes up to the top rope now with his back turned towards The Voyeur. He lifts off and goes for a moonsault, but Voyeur rolls out of the way at the last second. Fish hits the mat.)
FJ: “And The Fish has turned into The Flounder!“
HS: “You're as funny as ever, Frank.“
FJ: “Ain't I?“
(The Voyeur is now catching his breath again while The Fish is gasping for air after the missed moonsault. Voyeur wastes no time, though, and starts stomping away at Fish's chest and back.)
FJ: “That Voyeur really is a smart wrestler! He realized that Fish knocked all the air out of his body and now Voyeur is doing the same to Fish.“
HS: “Yeah, but he's a fish! He doesn't need air to breathe anyway!“
FJ: “I hear you, Fish Fanatic!“
(Voyeur is taking a few steps back and then hits a legdrop right across Fish's chest. He then waits for Fish to get back to his feet again and applies a sleeper hold.)
FJ: “See what I'm talking about, Herb?“
(Fish is struggling and can't seem to free himself of Voyeur large – in comparison to his own – arms. Fish slowly drops to one knee... then to the other one... until he drops down to the mat completely, Voyeur still holding on to his neck. The referee checks if Voyeur hasn't turned this sleeper into an illegal choke, and as he realizes that isn't the case, picks up Fish's arm, which drops for the 1..... the 2..... and right onto the bottom rope! The fans scream, thinking the arm dropped for the third time at first, but then the screams turn into cheers as the referee tells The Voyeur to release the sleeper.)
FJ: “That was close for our friend Fish here.“
HS: “Fish is showing he has some of that smarts as well.“
FJ: “Yeah, whatever.“
(Fish now starts fighting his way back to his feet and then nails a series of elbows into Voyeur's stomach to free himself. Fish goes into the ropes and hits Voyeur with another dropkick, sending him to the mat. Voyeur is back on his feet and Fish jumps onto the middle rope, turns around and hits a springboard cross body. Cover gets 1..... 2..... and a close kickout! Fish now starts nailing Voyeur with right fist after right fist, right to the head, ignoring the referee's order not to use the fist. Fish backs Voyeur up in the corner and climbs to the second rope. He starts punching Voyeur and the crowd counts along... 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10! Voyeur stumbles into the middle of the ring, but he doesn't stand there for long as Fish sends him to the mat with a enziguri from behind. Cover gets The Fish 1..... 2..... and a kickout.)
HS: “That was close.“
FJ: “Well, The Fish isn't the AWA's greatest cruiserweight in years for nothing, as much as I hate to give that idiot credit.“
(Fish whips Voyeur into the corner again. He follows Voyeur, climbs up to the second turnbuckle and hits the Fish Attack!)
HS: “His old finisher! Cover!“
(Fish covers Voyeur after hitting the Fish Attack and gets 1..... 2..... 3! NO! Voyeur just manages to wrap his leg over the bottom rope.)
HS: “VERY close again!“
FJ: “Yeah, but the bottom line is that he made it!“
(Fish pulls Voyeur up and now hooks his arms. He turns around and goes for the Fin-isher. However, Voyeur is able to hook is foot under the bottom rope, thus preventing Fish from lifting him up. The two start struggling back and forth near the ropes, the referee in the middle of all this. Suddenly, Voyeur pushes the referee to the mat, drops down to one knee, hits a low blow on Fish, hooks his legs to roll him up, and after the referee briefly warns him about pushing, puts his feet on the middle rope as the referee counts 1..... 2..... 3! HS: “Noooooo!“
FJ: “Yessss!“
HS: “The Voyeur just upset The Fish in his debut match to win the AWA Cruiserweight title!“
FJ: “I love it!“
(Fish looks on is astonishment and protests with the referee, who tells him he hasn't seen a thing. “Hurt“ starts playing and The Voyeur clutches the belt and quickly walks up the ramp and to the back. We cut to a commercial for the upcoming Best Of Wrestlefest I-V DVD, released in early-January, before we return to the arena. "Unfinished Sympathy" blares out from the PA as the Reverend emerges at the top of the ramp. In his left hand, he is holding the end of a length of chain. He yanks the chain and 'Alluring' Amanda stumbles out from backstage, the other end of the chain attached to a collar around her neck. The crowd boos the Reverend and cries of "Let Her Go!" reverberate around the arena.)
HS: "This is disgusting behavior by the Reverend. He's reduced that girl to an animal!"
FJ: "She knew what she was letting herself in for when she met him. Besides, she's been a disloyal manager..."
HS: "What? That's got nothing to do with it! What he's doing is plain wrong!"
(The Reverend makes his way down to the bottom of the ramp and fastens the chain around a ring post. He grins evilly at Amanda before striking her across the face. The crowd gasps at this barbaric behavior. The Reverend look irritated at the reaction of the crowd. He slides into the ring and grabs the microphone from the announcer.)
Reverend: "My misguided children, I demand SILENCE! Who are you to judge how I treat my property? That thing there has been disloyal and conniving and she deserves to receive penance!"
HS: "What is he on about? Amanda has been a faithful partner to that... that sub-human monster!"
(The crowd are still booing the Reverend but the jeers turn to cheers when Led Zeppelin’s "When The Levee Breaks" screams out from the speakers. Blackjack comes flying down the ramp, eyes locked on the Reverend. The Reverend flings the microphone out of the ring as Blackjack slides in and turns to meet him but Blackjack ploughs into the Reverend with a spear, sending him hurtling backwards.)
HS: "Oh yeah! Send him back to hell, BJ!"
(Blackjack hooks in a side headlock hard and fast as he lays relentless punches on the forehead of Reverends skull. The crowd roars in favor of this as they are in disgust at what Reverend has done. Blackjack gets up and tosses his jacket out of the ring and lays a kick to the midsection of Reverend all revved up. Blackjack glances over at Amanda who is trying to get free and has a look of complete distraught on her face, Blackjack picks up Reverend and sends him into the ropes and charges at him with a jumping calf kick sailing through the air connecting hard. He picks up Reverend again and hits a fast hard snap suplex and Reverend grabs his back in pain. Blackjack walks over to the turnbuckle where Amanda is and tries to assure her that it will be over soon and a small bit of hope comes over her face but it is quickly changed to a gasp as Reverend clubs Blackjack in the back of the head with a hard fist he pounds away at him, and screams something at Amanda. He turns Blackjack around and throws him into the opposite turnbuckle and runs at him with a clothesline against it. Blackjack grabs his chest and takes a few steps forward and reverend brings his head down in a front face lock planting Blackjack on the top of his head hard with a brutal ddt. Reverend smiles and hooks the leg going for the cover but a kick out at 2. )
HS: "Reverend thought he had it until that move Blackjack had the advantage but having a conscious unlike Reverend interfered in that."
FJ: "Oh Herb don’t give me that sentimental stuff. Blackjack should keep his nose in his own business and focus on the match."
HS: "This has become his business, this war is becoming personal and this battle may very well be the deciding factor in the coarse of these two."
FJ: "Yea, and I hope it decides finally what a joke Blackjack really is, get on with it Reverend, come on!"
(Reverend hooks in a half-nelson rolling Blackjack on his stomach and gets on top of him wrenching him back. Blackjack struggles with his hand out reaching for some help but to no avail. Reverend turns it into a full nelson and tugs back on him even more the pain showing through the face of Blackjack as Reverend smiles at what he is doing. Blackjack looks towards the yells and pounding of Amanda as she tries to get free and hooks his foot on the ropes just in time. Reverend tosses Blackjack face first onto the mat and slaps the back of his head as he stands up and taunts BJ, kicking at his head as though he is nothing. Reverend runs to the ropes and slides to the mat hitting a baseball slide inside the ring that knocks Blackjack outside. Reverend takes his time to get out of the ring and as he does this BJ is able to regain some composure and slowly reach his vertical base he catches Reverend off guard with a stiff right hand across his face and he grabs Reverends arm and twists it, spins around and pulls Reverend to him in a face lock, quickly executing a swinging neck breaker on the outside.)
HS: "Blackjack is getting back into this one; he caught Reverend off guard and may be able to take advantage."
FJ: "Not if Reverend has anything to do with it."
HS: "Blackjack is still struggling to regain all his composure though."
(BJ slowly gets up to his feet and slides back into the ring, looking back and forth from Reverend to Amanda. Reverend slides back in the ring and BJ bounces off the ropes and comes behind him hitting the Ace of Spades diamond cutter out of nowhere. He rolls on top of Reverend but shakes it off and stands up to walk over to Amanda. He gets out of the ring and tugs on the chain at the end of the ring post, trying to see if he can pull it off or break it but to no avail. Reverend starts to stir in the ring and slides out the opposite side and scrambles underneath looking for something. As BJ and Amanda try to pry away at the chain Reverend comes around the corner with an iron bar and takes a hard swing at the back of the neck of BJ. BJ sails down to the outside floor as he hits the ground with a dead thud. The Referee calls for the bell as it starts to ring but Reverend isn’t finished he gets to his knee and pulls Blackjacks face to him clocking him hard across the skull busting BJ wide open and knocking him unconscious. Amanda begins to scream trying to pull away from the post but nothing happens.)
HS: "That man is horrible, he blatantly set that vicious attack on Blackjack and all Blackjack was trying to do was save a girl from harms way, he was just having a soul."
FJ: "That’s what happens when you interfere with the wrong person, BJ got what was coming to him and he may very well have deserved it."
HS: "I can’t believe you would say something like that."
(Reverend picks up the microphone that he tossed ringside and smiles sadistically at the crowd and Amanda and BJ. Amanda in fear and eyes glistening from potential tears.)
Reverend: "Do you like the pain, my child? Do you want more? There is always more, Blackjack, especially if you try to steal my property again! She is MINE, Blackjack and I will kill both her and you if you even try to steal her again! She is MY property and I decide what she does and where she goes. If you so much as touch her again, I will consign the both of you to hell! Foolish child!"
(He turns to yell at Amanda.)
Reverend: "Get in that ring slave, on your knees and crawl to me."
(Reverend unhooks the post and slides in the ring eyeing Amanda with pure anger at the moment. Amanda struggles against her chains and crawls into the ring, towards the Reverend's feet. He kicks her solidly in the ribs, sending her sprawling onto the unconscious form of Blackjack. The Reverend grabs her hair and forces her to look at Blackjack.)
Reverend: "Do you see what happens when you disobey me? I will not hesitate to do the same to you if you disappoint me again. How pretty do you think your face will be after half of it gets shoved in with an iron bar, Amanda? Who will want you then? If you displease your master again, Slave, I will break you and leave you to die alone and my father will feast on your rotten soul."
(He grabs her chain and tugs her out of the ring all the way up the ramp way pulling and ignoring the crowd. A look of foulness comes across his face as he makes her go to the back first and pushes her through the curtains.)
HS: "That may have been one of the most detestable things I have ever witnessed and Blackjack still lays there bloodied trying to come back to."
FJ: "That’s entertainment, Herb my friend, that’s what these two came here for."
HS: "Entertainment my aBEEP! But I know for some time now that you are just as sick and perverted as The Reverend."
(The scene fades to black and we go to the "WRESTLEFEST III HIGHLIGHTS" from November 25th, 2001. The Fast And The Furious are battling with The Extreme Icons over the Hardcore and Cruiserweight titles..... DeeJay and Dark Warrior are competing for the TV title..... King Chozen and Psych in action against The Altar Boys..... Shane Solomon refereeing a Tag Team title steel cage match between The Lone Star Outlaws and Mortis Valley and Static..... Vapor Adams, Michael Stevens and Weston Steel fighting for the US title..... and The Legendary Low defending his AWA World title against Dave Santini, Ray Owens and Steven Caldera. We then go to a video package highlighting the AWA US title tournament and how Adam Bawm and Animosity got into the finals before we go back to Herb and Frank.)
HS: "Ladies and Gentlemen, here we go, we are going to see Animosity and Adam Bawm, one on one for the vacant US Title."
FJ: "That’s right, and Animosity is going to keep up Bawm's streak."
FJ: "HA, how many times have I heard that."
HS: "Well we will see for sure right here tonight."
(The lights dim, and the crowd goes silent in anticipation, "Time Bomb" by Godsmack starts to play and the crowd erupts while waiting for Adam Bawm. However after only a few seconds, "Time Bomb" gets cut. The crowd goes silent again wondering what has happened. Now the lights have gone out completely.)
HS: "What on earth is going on here tonight."
FJ: "I don’t know but it sure is dark, I cant even see your ugly mug Summers."
(The lights come back on and much to the surprise of everyone in attendance, standing atop the ramp is former multi time US Champion… C-Rock. He raises his arms and looks around, the crowd doesn't know what to think at this point in time. He leisurely walks to the ring and the ring announcer grabs the microphone.)
Ring Announcer: "Ladies and Gentlemen, tonights Special Guest Referee……CCCCCCCCCCC-ROOOOOOOOOCK!!!!!!!!"
HS: "Oh dear lord, C-Rock is back in the AWA, and he is the Special Guest Referee for this US title match.!!!!"
FJ: "Well I didn't see that one coming, looks like there's more problems for Bawm tonight."
HS: "Well C-Rock and Animosity don't exactly get along either."
FJ: "Good point, wait…no….bad point…I mean your mothers a sl…"
("Time Bomb" begins again and the crowd goes nuts once again. This time after only a few short seconds, Adam Bawm emerges out from the back and onto the stage. He smiles around arrogantly and then raises his arms and starts to march to the ring, as he gets there, he exchanges words with C-rock. The two stare at each other for a moment, and then Bawm takes his corner. He stretches out and then awaits the arrival of Animosity. "Crucified" by SevenDust starts to play, it goes on for a good long time until finally Animosity steps out on the stage as well. He wastes no time in making his way to the ring. He points to Bawm and then signals that the title is his.)
FJ: "Look at the confidence he already knows that he is going to win."
HS: "Would you quit it!!"
FJ: "No..."
(C-Rock and Animosity exchange glares for a brief period of time. C-Rock then exits the ring and grabs the US title. He holds it up and then shows it to both combatants. He draws them into the middle of the ring, and warns both of them that he will not take anything shady in this match. He takes the belt outside and then the bell rings.)
HS: "Well here we go. Bawm has the size advantage, but Animosity is likely just as strong as the big man."
FJ: "Stronger"
HS: "AH, I wish they would fire you."
(The two men seem to want to find out who has the strength advantage, they lock up in the center of the ring. Animosity has a lower center of gravity and pushes Bawm back in to the ropes. C-Rock breaks it up though. Bawm starts complaining about his hair being pulled. C-Rock gives him the one finger salute and tells his to get back to wrestling.)
FJ: "That’s the spirit, C-Rock, you tell him."
(This time Bawm charges at Animosity and Animosity ducks and throws a series of hard rights that again puts Bawm in the corner. C-Rock jumps in again. This time he warns Animosity about the use of closed fists. Animosity argues back and then C-Rock gives him the one finger salute as well.)
FJ: "That bastard C-Rock, he has no respect!!"
HS: "But it was fine when he did it to Bawm?"
FJ: "Shut up Summers, you don’t know what you're talking about."
(As Animosity is yelling at C-Rock, Bawm capitalizes and jumps Animosity he hits an double axe handle, and then a kick to midsection, before dropping Animosity with a DDT. He gets up and raises his arms to the cheers of the thousands in attendance. He picks Animosity up and then delivers four or five hard chops. The crowd completes the move as they yell out "WOOOO" in unison. Bawm is smiling bright now and continues the onslaught.)
HS: "Bawm looks to be in control earlier here tonight."
FJ: "That will change soon enough Summers. Animosity is just playing possum."
(Bawm then locks Animosity' in to a Belly-to-Belly suplex. Animosity hits hard and Bawm applaudes his move. He stalks over to Animosity and starts to stomp away. He then places Animosity into a reverse Chinlock and C-Rock jumps in to make sure that it is not a choke.)
HS: "Good strategy here by Adam Bawm, he is trying to wear down Animosity and take some of that deadly strength away."
FJ: "Animosity is in great shape this isn't going to work"
(Animosity twists and turns but Bawm has the move locked in very tight, so Animosity resorts to a different method. He repeatedly throws his fist over his shoulder and sends them into the jaw of Bawm, after two or three Bawm loosens the hold, and Animosity gets to his feet. He delivers an elbow and Bawm has almost completely let go, Animosity ducks down and then turns into Bawm, lifting him into the air. He then drops backwards delivering a almost perfect Samoan Drop. Bawm rolls across the apron and tries to grab a breath, however Animosity has remarkably already shook off the effects of Bawm's earlier assualt. Animosity lights into Bawm with lefts and rights, he then mounts Bawm and continues to rain down lefts and rights.)
FJ: "Look at Animosity he is viscious."
HS: "That I have to agree with."
(C-Rock has seen enough of this and he pulls Animosity off of Bawm, Animosity glares at C-rock before jumping on Bawm again. He is dropping haymakers into the face and chest of Bawm, and Bawm is trying to cover up. Finally Animosity lets up a little, he steps back and allows Bawm to get to his feet. As Bawm does Animosity hits the ropes and delivers a clothesline that floors the bigger man. Now Animosity is mocking the fans. He kicks Bawm in the back a few times, as Bawm tries to roll to safety Animosity nonchalantly stalks forward, he tries to kick Bawm again, but this time Bawm cradles his foot and holds it tight against his chest. He gets to one knee and Animosity is trying to free his foot however Bawm is now standing up and still holding Animosity's foot. Animosity is hopping around trying to maintain his balance. He pulls Animosity into his body and picks him up quickly and spins nailing a turn around spinebuster. Animosity gasps for air, on the ground, and Bawm continues with an elbow drop. Animosity once again gasps for air as the elbow is directed into his chest. Bawm seems content and lifts Animosity up and delivers a hanging vertical suplex. )
HS :I told you Frank, tonight is Bawm's night."
FJ: "Not if he keeps showboating."
(Bawm goes for the cover, C-Rock drops and counts. 1………2….no kickout by Animosity. Bawm seems frustrated now, and he slaps the mat. He whips Animosity to the ropes and looks like he is going for the clothesline but Animosity instead lunges forward and catches a shoulder tackle full. Bawm crashes to the mat and Animosity tries to recuperate. Bawm and Animosity get up at the same time and Bawm charges again, this time Animosity leaps and delivers drop kick. )
FJ: "Great agility from Animosity….
(Animosity takes to the offence now and he picks Bawm up and starts to scream at him. He delivers a kick to the midsection and then with a sickening feat of strength he hoists Bawm onto his shoulders with ease, he runs and delivers a devastating powerslam. Animosity then immediately picks up Bawm, and delivers his own spinebuster.)
FJ: "How the tides have turned now. Animosity is really taking it to Bawm."
(Animosity is relentless in assualt now. He picks Bawm, and delivers a brainbuster before going for the cover. 1……….2………no!!!! Bawm gets the shoulder up. Animosity is now frustrated as he blames C-Rock for a slow count. He grabs a handful of Bawm's blonde locks and yanks him to his feet. Animosity hoists Bawm up onto his hip and drops into a sidewalk slam. He starts to choke Bawm now, and C-Rock starts the count. 1……..2………3……….4…. Animosity releases just before the 5 count, and then backs off. Bawm crawls to his feet and gets met with a spear tackle that drops him again. He covers and the ref counts. 1….2 no. Animosity is livid at C-Rock he is screaming at him, and C-Rock is screaming back.)
FJ: "God dammit…That C-Rock has cost Animosity the US title!!!!!"
HS: "No he didn't it was barely a two count!!!."
(Animosity lifts Bawm up again, and walks him to the ropes he drapes his arms across the ropes and then ties him into them. Bawm can only watch as Animosity starts to punch away. C-Rock jumps in and breaks it up. He is trying to help Bawm out of the ropes. Animosity takes this opportunity to unlace the turnbuckle pad. He has exposed the steel under the padding, and C-Rock has not noticed.)
HS: " Animosity is up to no good her."
FJ: "I love it."
FJ: "Do you think he can make it the Canadian Title?"
HS: "NO!!!"
(C-Rock has now noticed the steel turnbuckle pad on the mat, and he rushes over to re-lace it. As he is doing this Animosity grabs Bawm, and whips him into C-Rock crushing him into the steel post and knocking him down. Animosity reaches in to his trunks. He pulls out a pair of Brass Knuckles.)
HS:" No damn it…….!!!!!"
HS: "Not like this!!!!!"
FJ: "HAHA, be ready for anything!"
(Bawm stumbles backwards and then turns just in time to catch a thunderous shot with the knucks. He hits the mat immediately and lays motionless in the center of the ring. Animosity then quickly goes to the ropes and then starts to climb them. He leaps off just as C-Rock is pulling himself towards Bawm.)
FJ: "450 Splash!!!!!!"
HS: "No. No, NO!!!!!"
(Animosity hits the splash perfectly, the crowd is gasping and all of them are on their feet hoping for Bawm to kick out. Animosity hooks both legs and C-Rock counts. For good measure Animosity grabs a hand full of tights. 1…………….2………………3!!!!!!!!!!!!)
HS: "BAWM WAS ROBBED!!!!!!"
FJ: "Wrong Herb, Bawm wasn’t ready for anything. Animosity warned him."
(C-Rock grabs the title and raises Animosity's hand in the air. He congratulates him on the victory as Animosity is celebrating in the ring. "Crucified" is playing as Animosity is triumphantly walking to the back title in hand. The crowd is booing and seem very upset.)
HS: "We haven't seen the last of these two."
FJ: "Who cares. Animosity is the new US champion!!"
(The graphic "WRESTLEFEST IV HIGHLIGHTS" appears and we go back to November 15th, 2002, once again to San Francisco, to see men like Bull Majors, LJ Vacamas, RawStarr and Jayson Price battle it out in the Rookie Brawl..... Dark Warrior taking on The Hangman inside a steel cage..... C-Rock taking on Jack Happy in a Ladder Match to unify the US and Intercontinental titles..... and in the main event World Champion Ray Owens taking on Steven Caldera and Dave Santini in a best-of-three-falls Triple Threat Match. As the package ends we go to another video package highlighting the feud between AWA World Champion Zeal and Brian Williams, including their Buried Alive Match for the TV title and their various other violent encounters. We then cut back to Herb and Frank at ringside.)
HS: "It is now time for our main event, and a HELL of a main event it is."
FJ: "Yeah, finally I get to see that jerk Zeal get the massive ass whipping he deserves. And Brian Williams is finally going to win the World title!"
HS: "How can you say that Frank, the match has not even started, and yet already you know the winner?"
FJ: "Come on, Summers, it is Brian Williams, he always wins."
HS: "I seem to remember about a week ago, Mr Williams lost his Television Title, but how could that happen when he always wins?"
FJ: "He got ripped off, and besides he never even got pinned. Why do yo…"
(Frank is cut off when “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica begins to play, and the second it does the crowd breaks into a massive barrage of booing. Williams then steps through the curtain with a look of nothing but determination on his face, he gives no reaction to the crowd like usual, he simply walks the aisle not blinking. Once he arrives at the ring he climbs up onto the apron and steps over the top rope, and then proceeds to make his way over to the far corner and locks his eyes on the top of the ramp.)
HS: "Williams sure as hell looks focused here, the man has not even blinked since he stepped through the curtain."
FJ: "Of course he is focused, he is about to win the World Title."
HS: "Would you stop saying that, why must you always discount people just because you don’t like them?"
FJ: "Because I can, Herb, because I can!"
HS: "Well then..."
("Nothing Else Matters" fades out and after a couple of seconds of silence The lights dim as "New Skin" by Incubus begins to play. As the music picks up, the lights brighten and flash chaotically around the arena. As the first verse begins, one of the cameras picks up Zeal making his way to the ring through the crowd. He hops over the barricade and slides into the ring, soaking up the crowd reaction. As Zeal slides in under the bottom rope Williams shifts his line of sight and the two lock eyes, and as they do, the cell that has been hanging so still above the ring all night begins to slowly lower. Once in place the Ref calls for the bell and things are under way.)
HS: "Here we go folks, lock yourselves in and get ready for the ride."
FJ: "Can you feel it Summers?"
HS: "Feel what?"
FJ: "Brian Williams is ab…"
HS: "Don’t even say it. Should have known."
(The two men slowly move together, and as the do the massive size difference is startling with Williams standing nearly a foot taller than Zeal. They look as if they are going to lock up but as Williams moves in Zeal ducks and goes under his arms and hit’s the ropes, and as Williams turns around Zeal launches himself towards him only to be caught in mid flight, by the massive Williams. Williams holds Zeal at his chest and begins to walk around, and then drops him across the top rope in a guillotine fashion. Zeal goes tumbling to the mat and quickly grabs for his throat. Williams looks down at the World Champion and for the first time the blank look leaves his face and is replaced by a slight grin. Williams then grabs Zeal by the head and assists him to his feet. Once Zeal is back up to a vertical base, Williams whips him to the ropes and as Zeal bounces and comes back Williams lifts him up under his arm and drops with a hard sidewalk slam. After hitting the sidewalk slam Williams rolls away and again climbs to his feet.)
FJ: "Look at Williams go! See Herb, I told you. Ha Ha, keep going Brian, kill him!"
HS: "It is far from over Frank, there is no way you're going to beat Zeal with a couple of moves like that."
FJ: "Just watch Herb, and you will see why once again, I am right and you as usual are wrong."
HS: "I am watching, but it is getting hard with you yammering in my ear."
FJ: "Be nice Summers, I don’t deserve the shabby treatment I am getting."
HS: "Would you just watch the damn match, and try to be as unbiased as you can?"
(Williams stands over Zeal and watches and waits until he regains his feet, only to knock him right back down with a thundering clothesline, which is followed up with a hard elbow drop to the sternum of Zeal. Williams then rolls over hooks the leg and covers. 1.…2...Kick out. Zeal again begins to climb to his feet and once he is about half way there Williams takes off and hit’s the ropes, and bounces off and catches Zeal just as he has got fully Vertical with a hard boot right to the jaw, which again Knocks Zeal back down to the mat. Then not wasting any time Williams once again hauls Zeal back to this feet and backs him up into the corner. He props Zeal up against he turnbuckles and steps back to the centre of the ring, he then sizes Zeal up and takes a full out run in his direction and looks for a back elbow. However at the last second Zeal has the presence of mind to fall to his left and as he does Williams goes crashing into the corner at full force.)
HS: "It is a damn good thing Zeal got out of the way there or he would be about a foot shorter right now."
FJ: "Damn why did he have to move?"
HS: I can't believe I have to work with you."
FJ: "Oh come on, you love me."
HS: "Sorry Frank, I am a happily married man!"
FJ: "That’s not how…(FLUSTERED) Just watch the match Summers, that is what we pay you for."
HS: "Must have struck a nerve."
(Zeal is quickly back to his feet and catches Williams with a drop kick in the back as he stumbles back out of the corner, which sends him crashing chest first into the turnbuckles again. Then with Williams slightly dazed in the corner Zeal again leaps and hits Williams with a drop kick sending him face first into the cage. Williams is reeling and Zeal takes advantage by diving into his right knee which in turn brings the big man down to the mat. Zeal quickly climbs to his feet and heads to the corner and climbs to the top rope, and with Williams just about to get up, but still hunched over Zeal leaps and puts his leg across the neck of Williams and drives his face into the ground, he then rolls Williams over hooks the leg and covers, 1.…2.…Williams rolls his shoulder at the last minute to escape the count)
HS: "Wow, that was a hell of a move by Zeal there, and he damn near finished Williams off with it."
FJ: "Williams is just resting, he has Zeal right where he wants him."
HS: "Yes Frank, resting with his back flat on the mat courtesy of the World Champion."
FJ: "Oh, that move doesn’t hurt, I have had it done to me hundreds of times."
HS: "I see, that would explain a lot about you then."
FJ: "I’ll explain something to you with my foot here in a minute, Summers!"
(Zeal climbs to his feet and waits for Williams to get to his, and once he does he spins him around and pushes him into the ropes stomach and chest first, Williams bounces off and as he does Zeal runs and grabs his head and looks for a bull dog, but Williams almost out of instinct pulls Zeal in the air as if he were going for an atomic drop but instead sends Zeal flying into the side of the cage, and the wait of Zeal combined with the force that Williams tossed him with causes the cage wall to come apart and Zeal goes flying to the outside and hit the ground hard with a sickening thud.)
HS: "Dear god, he may have just killed him, did you hear that thud?"
FJ: "That was great Herb, can we see it again?"
HS: "I don’t know about great, but it sure seems to have done the trick."
FJ: "Yeah, and now they are gonna be on the outside, and we have seen what can happen out there."
(Williams shakes his head to clear the cobwebs then sees the big hole in the side of the cage, and then sees the nearly unconscious Zeal On the arena floor. An evil smile comes over Williams face as he exits the ring and the cage. Once on the floor he looks down at Zeal who has now begun to stir slightly and is trying to get to his feet. Williams grabs him and helps the process along, then keeping a hold of his head Williams launches Zeal face first into the cold steel of the cell. Zeal bounces back and again lands hard on the floor. Williams then steps back and climbs onto the barricade the surrounds the ring and leaps off nailing Zeal with a violent knee drop right to the face. Williams then climbs back to his feet and pulls the half conscious Zeal with him, and begins to drag him over towards the time keepers table. Once at the table Williams grabs the World title belt, and holds it in Zeal’s face and screams “IT’S MINE, DO YO HEAR ME, YOU SON OF A BITCH?” Williams then hauls off and decks Zeal right on the chin with the belt knocking him to the floor once again.)
FJ: "I love this guy, did you see that Herb, it was great!"
HS: "I think it was sick, and shows how twisted this man's mind is."
FJ: "Hey, finally your starting to get it."
HS: "I get it, I just think it’s a little odd."
(Williams still holding the World Title in his hands looks down at it and smiles then he tosses it down to the ground, and begins to make his way over to Zeal who is again pulling himself to his feet. Williams grabs Zeal and lifts him up onto his shoulder and then runs towards the cell and sends Zeal crashing into the cage face first. Williams lets him drop to the ground, and stomps him a couple of times. The camera zooms in on the face of Zeal which has now been busted wide open. Seeing the Blood seems to make Williams just that much more aggressive. He lifts Zeal to his feet, and turns him around and lifts him up and begins to drive him down into a spine buster. But Zeal Holds on and using the momentum of the Slam pulls Williams down with him into a DDT, both men hit the ground hard and lay on their backs staring up into the lights. It quickly shows that Williams took the worst of the blows as Zeal is first to his feet. Seeing Williams still trying to get to his feet he climbs up onto the guard rail and waits for him to get up and as he does Zeal jumps and hit’s a tornado DDT driving Williams head into the ground hard.)
HS: "These two men are killing each other here, this just shows how much each wants this title."
FJ: "No, this is not right, Zeal should not be doing this."
HS: "What are you beginning to doubt Mr Williams, Frank?"
FJ: "Of course not, I was just refering to the fact that Zeal should take this back to the ring."
HS: "But it was fine when Williams was doing it just moments ago?"
FJ: "Exactly!"
HS: "You surprise me every time you open your mouth, honestly, every time you say something I think I have heard the worst, and then you just keep opening our mouth."
FJ: "Why must you be so mean to me, Summers? Why can't you just watch the match?"
(Zeal looks around, and grabs a chair from the nearby time keepers bench and walks back over to the dazed Williams, and awaits his return to his feet. Once Williams is up Zeal swings the chair and it connects hard into the skull of Williams, which again knocks Williams down. As the camera moves in it shows a large cut on the hair line of Williams, and now both men are bleeding quite heavily. Zeal drops the chair onto Williams and a smile crosses his face. Zeal then begins to climb up the side of the cell but as he is climbing Williams has pulled himself to his feet and made his way over to Zeal, who has not seen him. Williams turns his back to Zeal and grabs him under his arms and peels him off the cage, he then in a show of power carries him over to the announcers table and pushes him up into the air and sends him crashing through the table, This sends the two announcers back in a shocked manner and Frank falls over out of his chair. The sound of the World Champion crashing through the table echo’s through the arena which has now broken into a chant of “HOLY SHIT”.)
p>HS: "My god, our table is in ruins, and Zeal is laying in Frank's lap!"
FJ: (Mic not working) "Someone get this thing off of me!"
HS: "Frank, can you hear me?"
FJ: "Don’t just sit there Summers. Help get this thing off me!"
(Williams grabs Zeal from the wreckage of the table and hauls him back towards the ring where he slides him in, he then reaches under the ring and pulls out a large black bag. He then himself slides into the ring and with the black bag in his hand and an evil smile on his face. He looks at Zeal who is hardly moving, and then holds the black bag up in the air and pulls the gold string around the top and opens the bag and begins to pour the contents out into the ring. At first it is hard to determine what it is, but then as the camera zooms in it shows that the bag is full of large chunks of glass. Williams empties the entire contents of the bag into a small area in the ring and tosses the bag aside.)
HS: "Frank, are you back on?"
FJ: "Yes, I think, and I love what I am seeing, Zeal is finally gonna get what he has coming to him."
HS: "He is gonna severely hurt him Frank, this is sick, Williams is sick!"
FJ: "Yeah, that’s what I have been saying, and that is why he is great."
(Williams turns to Zeal and lifts him to his feet, and holds him up by the neck as he looks down at the massive pile of glass in the ring. Williams smiles and then pulls Zeal around and lifts him high into the air in a press slam and then turns him over and begins to drop him into a tombstone pile driver and then sits out and drops sending Zeals face crashing into the shards of broken glass. Williams exhausted in his ownright falls over and draws all his last amounts of energy to hook Zeal’s leg and cover 1.….2.…3!!!!!)
HS: "My god, that was crazy, Zeal is a bloody mess, and Williams is no hell either, but one thing that will make it all worth it for him is that he is the new AWA World Champion."
FJ: "I told you Herb, I told you. What a glorious day!"
HS: "Well, I am not going to get into this with you, I am not going to take anything away from Williams. He busted his ass and got the job done, and his reward is about to be handed to him."
(The referee has made his way back to the ring and has the AWA World title in his hands. He hands it to the bloody and exhausted Williams who takes it and just stares at it for about ten seconds. He then takes it in one arm and raises it high into the air and stares into the camera, the blood still running down his face, and with and evil grin he says “I TOLD YOU IT WAS MINE!" "Nothing Else Matters" starts playing and Williams celebrates with his belt as the copyright logo appears on our screen and we fade to black.)
