AWA Revelations
AWA Revelations Live May 12, 2003
From a blank screen, we get the message that reads previously recorded. We
then move into a shot of an empty arena at Indiana University. As we move in
closer, we see a half built wrestling ring. Upon closer inspection, we see that
the man currently working on putting the ring together is none other than Jack
Happy dressed in a pair of coveralls with plenty of smiley faces plastered across
them. Even his leather tool belt is plastered with a big fat yellow smiley face.
Jack is still working on the frame work of the ring. But we now notice that
Jack is not alone in the empty arena. Upon noticing the music of "Self
Esteem" by Offspring we turn and see Drake Hyde sitting in the front row.
But hes not alone either. With Drake Hydes feet kicked up on the
rail, we see Leena massaging his shoulders while Melina is massaging his feet.
Drake is drinking from a bottle of Sam Adams original Boston lager. We turn
back to Jack Happy who is working ever so hard to get the ring put together.
We watch as rivers of sweat pour from the eye holes in Happys mask.
DRAKE: Man, Ill tell ya Jack, that looks like some hard work.
JACK: Oh yeah... Its a little.... Phew boy I think Im about to
start losing weight any minute.
DRAKE: Well now dont do that. I dont want Lori getting mad at me
ol buddy.
JACK: Oh, I would... Never blame you for me losing weight my friend-always-will-be.
DRAKE: Yup.... That sure does look like some hard work.
Drake then takes a swig from his beer as Jack just keeps on sweating profusely.
Jack is panting heavily, and looks like hes about to faint at any moment.
Jack is currently putting all of his weight into tightening a nut on the inside
of the frame to hold a side beam to the ring post. It becomes obvious that the
nut cant get any tighter as the weight of Happy is actually enough to
cause the bottom jaw of the open ended adjustable wrench that he is using to
snap. Happy flies into the side beam in front of him as the tool gives under
his weight. Happy lands chin first into the beam and then falls to the floor.
Happy manages to roll over onto his back and stare up at the lights of the arena.
Drake almost moves until he notices Jack is still breathing.
DRAKE: You alright Jack? Should I call Pizza Hut for you?
JACK: Huh? Uh...
DRAKE: Really man, its no problem if you want me to call. Ive got
the cell right here.
JACK: Pizza?
DRAKE: Yeah.... Pizza..... Hut even. We can make it a stuff crust if you want.
Really man, theres nothing I wouldnt do for you man.
JACK: What about burritos?
DRAKE: Yeah.... about the burritos, theyre kind of all gone. Yeah, sorry
about that. Leena and Melina kind of got carried away with the burritos you
brought along.
Leena and Melina both look at Drake with an accusing eye. Drake shrugs his
shoulders and keeps going.
DRAKE: Yeah, so we can get you some pizza.
JACK: Pizza.... Burritos....
Jack suddenly has a bright idea and sits up in a hurried fashion. Ut upon doing
so, Jack hits his head on that same side beam and is immediately back on the
floor. With a dazed & confused look in his eyes now, Jack raises up slowly
watching out for that side beam. Jack is now sitting up on the ground.
JACK: Ive got the perfect name... Burrizza. That names not taken yet
is it?
LEENA: Id find it pretty hard to believe that anyone in this world would
have thought of that name before now Jack.
JACK: GREAT!!! Now I just need to call Lori and tell her. Uuuuhhh... My head
hurts.
DRAKE: Hey man, Im here for ya. Just tell me what you need, and Ill
get it for you.
JACK: I could use a cold beer.
DRAKE: Yeah.... That would be nice. Aaaahh, but that would mean that Id
have to get up and ya know I....
JACK: Oh, yeah. Sorry about that man, how inconsiderate of me. Dont worry
about it, Ill get it. I dont know what I was thinking....
DRAKE: Yeah... Its OK man, we all make mistakes.
JACK: Tell me about it.
We watch as Jack turns over onto his hands and knees and crawls under the side
beams of the ring. Once past the beams, Jack gets up to his feet and walks over
to the guard rail right in front of Drake. Jack is now standing right next to
Melina as she massages Drakes feet.
JACK: Um... Could I get you to move your feet though so I can get to the cooler?
DRAKE: Huh.... Move my feet? Ah man, I dunno thats like um....
JACK: Oh yeah, dont worry about it. Im sure I can... If I just...
Jack leans over the guard rail and begins stretching as best as he can to reach
the cooler under Drakes legs. While hes reaching under there, Drake
speaks up.
DRAKE: Hey Jack, do you think you can grab me one while youre in there?
Im empty.
JACK: Oh yeah sure, no problemo buddyo plenty.
DRAKE: Thanks man, youre the best, really you are.
Jack comes back up from bending over the guard rail with two Sam Adams
in his hands. Jack hands Drake one, and then walks back over to the half built
ring with his. Drake has already opened his bottle with his teeth. Jack has
just opened his by setting the lip of the top on the side of one of the beams
and slamming his hand down on it to force the top off. Jack begins to raise
the bottle to his mouth and we move into a slow motion view as if a beer commercial
is about to pop out at us any second now. Jack is just about to bring the beer
to his lips when all of a sudden.
DRAKE: So is that ring going to be done in time for Revelations?
Jack pulls the bottle away from his lips and looks down at the half built ring.
JACK: Yeah, we gotta get this done and fast. I dont know what Im
thinking man, trying to take a break. Good thing youre here to keep me
from slacking man. You are such a good friend Drake.
DRAKE: Hey, thats what friends are for man. Im just glad I could
help. So hey, do you think theres going to be room for a mattress under
the ring when youre done?
JACK: Um.... Well maybe an air mattress if you dont blow it up all the
way.
DRAKE: Oh, thats OK. But hey, when you put everything under the ring,
do you think you can leave enough room for um.... A couple of people to move
around comfortably. Ya see, Ive got some plans for under the ring later
on tonight.
JACK: Oh yeah, no problem man. I mean, Ive got to fit the ladder, the
tables, a few trash cans, and some.... Well yeah, Ill be sure to leave
some room for um.... What is it youre going to be doing under there?
We then abruptly cut to a live shot of the now finished product of Jack Happys
hard work. Its a packed house inside the Indiana University as we pan
over the crowd to read the various signs. We see signs such as "Suavio,
you're the man of my dreams", "Dark Warrior: Your next, and greatest
World Champ.", " Another Low Profile", "Drake stop hyding
from Adam Bawm", "Vacamas: The Next Real" champion", "Look
at my Regulators". We then go to Frank and Herb at the announce table.
FRANK: So here we are, Mothers Day has passed and the wrestlers of the
AWA can get all of those good will feeling out of their system and get back
to doing what they do best.
HERB: Huh?
FRANK: So what did you do for your mom for Mothers Day Herb?
HERB: I got her a new remote.
FRANK: Huh? Why would you get her a new remote?
HERB: Well, she kept complaining about her mute button not working. So every
time she watched us, she couldnt mute it when you spoke. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
FRANK: Now thats not-
HERB: Hey, did you see that piece with Happy putting the ring together?
FRANK: Well of course I did. Im only sitting two feet from you.
HERB: Yeah, two feet too close man. You do realize that this table is like
seven feet long right? Why are you sitting so close?
FRANK: Well my monitor is right-
HERB: Yeah yeah, what ever. I know what Ill get you for your birthday.
FRANK: And whats that?
HERB: Well, Im not supposed to tell you what your birthday present is,
but since its you and well... Id like to ruin every surprise of
yours I could Ill go ahead and tell you.
FRANK: Oh, thanks soooo much.
HERB: Yeah, Im going to get you an extension cord.
FRANK: An extension cord?
HERB: Yeah, so YOU can take YOUR monitor down to THAT end of the table. OR
better yet, how about if we get you sitting over there at the Spannish announce
table? Just think of all the action you could see over there.
FRANK: Nice to know Im loved.
HERB: Now see, why would you say something like that? Why? Why are you even
still talking? You really think people out there listen to you, dont you.
FRANK: Well actu-
HERB: Yeah yeah, Im sure youre going to say something really great
now. But um.... Let's get this show on the road!
FRANK: Fine, if thats how its going to be, lets get to work.
Ladies and gentlemen weve got so many great matches tonight. Too bad this
won't be one of them.
HERB: How can you be so sure Frank? Warrior is an accomplished athelete.
FRANK: And Suavio is NOT. I think a Mike Tyson fight has more intrigue.
HERB: Only if Robin Givens is involved in the mix. Anyways, the poles are up,
and security is standing by the hallway to the entrance ramp. Everything is
in order.
FRANK: Great. Cause there's only gonna be disorder and chaos now.
"Pimp Juice" by Nelly blares over the PA and the crowd gives out
a hearty cheer as Suavio Mega parts the curtains. Taking off his white blazer,
he wears the shirt which reads 'Dark Warrior' with an 'X' drawn through it.
His wrestling tights look more like pajamas as they are red and pant length
with pink hearts all over them. Stumbling into the ring, he quickly recovers
and does a sexy strut before nodding in the direction of several women and motioning
with his hands to 'call him.
HERB: Ya gotta love his confidence going into all of this. He truly believes
that he has a chance.
FRANK: I despise his ignorance. It's people like him that make me sick.
HERB: Yeah, and its people like you who make the world sick. Besides
he's got a dream and now he's got the chance to make his dreams come true. Win
or lose, he's done more than many of us ever do.
FRANK: You're right. He gets to lose to Dark Warrior instead of some bum off
the streets. He should be thankful.
"Only God Can Judge Me" by Tupac cues up and Dark Warrior stalks
towards the ring. Getting inside the ring, he gets right up in the face of Suavio
and the two of them have an intense staredown before they spend a moment jawing
at each other. Finally, we hear the announcer break the moment with the following
statements.....
ANNOUNCER: Ladies and gentlemen, at this time allow me to introduce the referees
for the following match. Please give a warm round of applause for Lustful Laura
AND Drake Hyde!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
'Head Like A Hole' by Nine Inch Nails cues up as Drake steps out wearing a
zebra-striped wifebeater and black Dockers. Laura has on a zebra-striped sports
bra along with a black miniskirt bottom. Her midriff is showing and she is getting
a lot of catcalls from the rambunctious Hoosier audience. Drake holds the top
rope for her as she slides through the middle and top rope, taking a moment
to straddle the second one and wiggle her 'assets' for the crowd. As they both
approach the combatants, it's already apparent that Dark Warrior is not pleased
with this arrangement at all.
FRANK: This is a conspiracy! How could security allow these two nutjobs inside
an AWA ring in a match they aren't involved with!
HERB: Newsflash Frankie: Suavio said that there would be two referees for the
match. Warrior agreed to the stips. Suavio never said WHO the referees were
gonna be! Smart thinking by the International Man of Pleasure!
FRANK: You would take his side on this matter.
HERB: Could it be because he's right? Or because youre an idiot?
Drake goes over and starts going over the rules of the match. However, as he's
midway through the rules, his attention gets turned to Laura and her ample bosom
as it shimmies and shakes. Drake slams his foot on the mat a few time causing
her to sway from the waving motion. Drake gets Suavio's attention to watch as
he repeats the process. Everyone seems to be getting a laugh out of it except
for Warrior. Immediately he lashes out and connects with a sucker punch. Drake
gives him a stern warning before motioning the timeskeeper to ring the bell
and get the match going.
HERB: What a cheap shot!
FRANK: Oh, I'm soooo sorry Herb. However, Warrior is here to WRESTLE. And now
we'll see how a wrestler performs.
HERB: Good first move for a wrestler...a damn punch!
Suavio is already spaghetti-legged as Warrior helps him up. In a rapid burst,
Suavio fires off knife edge chop after knife edge chop. The first surprises
Warrior, but after that, the rest have no effect at all on the U.S. Champion.
Suavio, thinking he's really stunned DW, starts to do his sexy strut again.
As he turns around, he's met with a vicious clothesline for his trouble. The
crowd groans as Suavio is badly shaken.
FRANK: HAHA! Brushed aside like a little fly.
HERB: Suavio seems the worst for wear after that harsh exchange.
Warrior, not one to let the opportunity go by, lifts Suavio back to his feet.
Snap suplex. Flipping back to an upright position, he snap suplexes him a second
time. Once more he flips back around and up and lands a devastating THIRD snap
suplex as Suavio twitches from the pain.
HERB: My gosh, this is just horrible!
FRANK: Whohooo! Guess I'm the winner of the pool tonight! Frankie's gonna be
eating some steak!
HERB: We can only hope that Suavio is able to mount a comeback from all the
canvas he's been eating so far.
FRANK: Comeback, shumback! Go Warrior! Whohooo!!!!
Meanwhile, our attention shifts from the massacre to the exchange between the
two referees for the match. Laura grimaces after every move that Warrior lands
successfully on Suavio. However, after a while, she can't help but start glancing
over at the ever-hawking Drake Hyde. Deciding to get Laura's full attention,
Drake goes for his move. Gently grabbing a corner of Laura's miniskirt bottom,
he raises it slightly...just enough to tease the crowd and get Laura to turn
towards him. When she does, Drake gets a crazed look at his eyes that slightly
freaks out the Blonde Bombshell. His hands lash out...and latch right onto her
breasts! Jiggling them slightly as he speaks, he issues forth the command....
DRAKE: LAURA! GET THE BLANKIE!!!!!!
As Laura slides to the outside, Drake quickly slides out of the other. They
both reach for a trashcan full of items. Out of Laura's, we see her pull out
a picnic basket and blanket. Drake's is a little bit different. Oh hell yeah.
Out of his, we see him pull out a pair of handcuffs, a blindfold, and a feather!
As they slide back inside the ring to meet up with each other, we see the look
of astonishment on their faces. Taking a moment, both nod and go back outside
the ring again. This time Drake returns with a picnic basket and a bouquet of
flowers. Laura, on the other hand, returns with an S&M mask, a spiked dog
collar, and a riding crop! Drake shrugs and motions for her to go outside with
him. Telling the Spanish Announcers to take a hike, Drake spreads out the blankie
across the top of the table. Putting down the basket, he hands her the bouquet
and then puts the S&M mask on. Laura puts the spiked dog collar on him and
they then begins dividing up the food!
FRANK: What the hell???
HERB: Hey, they're the refs in this match. They are the authority.
FRANK: They're EATING! What kind of authority is that?
HERB: One that Mr. Happy would appreciate?
Inside the ring, Dark Warrior executes a textbook diving reverse DDT. He follows
that move up with the unprettier. Making a cocky cover, he realizes after a
while that there are no refs to make the count. Looking around, he gets the
shock of his life when he sees Laura eating with a masked and collared Drake
Hyde. Sliding out of the ring, he approaches where they are and demands that
this insanity stop immediately! Nonchalantly, Drake flips the riding crop around
as if he's shooing away a horsefly until he realizes that the horsefly is Dark
Warrior. Shaking his head at him, he then motions as if to say, 'Hey, can't
you see we're trying to enjoy a picnic together?' As Dark Warrior seethes in
his presence, Drake Hyde politely excuses himself from Laura to go back in the
ring with Warrior. Warrior picks up Suavio and hits a reverse brainbuster. As
Warrior makes the cover, Drake makes the count. But what neither Drake nor Dark
Warrior notice at this moment is that as Suavio hit the mat after the brainbuster,
his foot landed on the bottom rope and got twisted & tangled in the rope.....
1.....
2....
Thr...
And stops. Warrior is livid. Drake shows why he stopped the count as Suavio's
foot is clearly on the rope. Granted, it's twisted and looking extremely distorted,
but it's still on the rope. Drake looks back over at Laura who is now peeling
a bananna. Rushing back outside the ring, Drake watches on with a keen interest
as Warrior picks up Suavio and continues with the beatdown.
HERB: Ya know, I think I'm hearing word from the production van that now would
be a great time to show some of the great products of the AWA.
FRANK: No! You gotta be kidding me. Okay, fine. I understand that...at various
points of the PPV...spots are shown like these. How many we gonna run? Two?
Three?
HERB: Actually the guys in the van suggested we run EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!
FRANK: This is an outrage! An atrocity! An.....
And with that, we now see every advertisement that was to run throughout the
PPV. Furthermore, the guys in the van also ran sneak-peek footage at several
of the trailers for the matches yet to come. All told, 20 minutes of ad space
ran. When the camera returns to the match, we see several mothers clutching
their kids and turning their faces away from the devastating display of punishment
that Dark Warrior is inflicting on Suavio Mega. Chaining moves together, we
watch as Dark Warrior excutes a reverse brainbuster for the second time and
follows that up with a vertibreaker.
HERB: In case you stepped away for those twenty minutes and returned, let me
just say that you are NOT watching any replay footage right now. Warrior has
not let up in the least.
FRANK: However, if you have a tape in the VCR, you should stop it and rewind
it! That was some incredible stuff! Warrior went through several different fighting
styles and art forms in the last twenty minutes: Lucha-Libre, Greco Roman, Jujitsu,
Tae Kwan Do, and Tiger Crane. I also think he went a bit Matrix on him, but
that's opinion and not substantiated fact.
HERB: Yet, he hasn't gone for a pin attempt. Why is that?
FRANK: Could it be because the refs are STILL having a picnic outside?
HERB: Actually, I think they have moved beyond the eating part. They only way
I can explain it is that they are not playing a game of strip go-fish.
FRANK: Who's winning?
HERB: I think Drake. Too close to call.
FRANK: Unlike this slaughter!
Inside the ring, Dark Warrior has decided to ground The International Man of
Pleasure with a series of submission moves. The crowd watches through cracks
in their covering hands as DW applies a crossface for a good five minutes before
moving to Suavio's legs where he applies the figure-four leglock. After several
more minutes have passed, DW taunts the crowd and screams obscenties at both
Hyde and Laura who seem completely oblivious to him. Reaching down on the near-lifeless
form of Suavio, he applies the deadly darkness and then slams his body to the
mat.
FRANK: This is the best match I've ever seen!
HERB: I have been an announcer for a generation and NEVER have I seen a match
go this violently and one-sided. If not for the refs wanting to give the fans
their money's worth in allowing so much to go on, it could very well have ended
thirty or so minutes ago.
FRANK: Ref generosity? Is that what you're calling this Herb?
HERB: Well, they've allowed a lot to go in this match. Just look at the face
of Suavio for crying out loud.
FRANK: Ya know let's do that. Can we get a close-up?
As the camera zooms in, Suavio's face is a battered, bruised, and bloody mess.
His right eye is nearly swollen SHUT and his other eye is swollen OPEN! Swelling
continues down the cheeks and underneath the jaw as Mega's head lolls to one
side, blood running from his mouth as a snot bubble expands and contracts out
of the left nostril. His hair is wild and spirals out in several different directions
as the only signs of life are the occassional spasm from his body like someone
delivering electroshock to him.
Turning the camera away from Suavio, we look at Dark Warrior who now has quite
a good bit of sweat coming off his body. His breathing is slightly labored as
he is feeling the effects of beating on a man for nearly 45 minutes now. His
eyes are crazed and he taunts Suavio repeatedly with every hold he applies to
him. After locking on the Sharpshooter for a good four minutes, he then calls
for the coupe de gras. Scaling the top rope, he leaps off and lands the High
Death on the VERY prone body of Suavio Mega.
As the ring RATTLES from the move, it snaps Drake and Laura from their game
and their admiration for each other. Leaning over, Drake whispers something
into her ear and points down under the ring. Laura doesn't get it so Drake draws
her a picture on one of the napkins using a pen left behind by one of the Spanish
Announcer's. Finally the light bulb lights and Laura is all to happy to oblige.
Quickly they slide under the ring. Moments pass as we start seeing what they
were wearing begin to slide out from under the ring.
Meanwhile, Warrior has shaken off the effects to his ribs from landing the
High Death and slides over to make the pinfall. The crowd counts along.....
1....
2....
Thre....
NO!
The ring shakes from underneath and Warrior is shot off of Suavio's body. Not
yet figuring out what is going on, he thinks that MAYBE Suavio SOMEHOW powered
out of the move. Landing a few kicks into him, he then performs the Fake Out
and covers once more....
1...
2...
THRE...NOOO!!!!!
This time, there is no denying the source of Suavio's 'resiliency,' as the
canvas begins to bubble up at a faster and faster pace. Furious, Dark Warrior
STOMPS at the mat only for the mat to shoot back up and take him off of his
feet! The crowd laughs at what is transpiring, but Warrior does not find amusement
in the events at all. Very, very wearily, he makes his way to the top again
and signals for a THIRD High Death. As the ring continues to shake, Warrior
steels his face and grits his teeth. Just as he goes to leap off, there is a
tremendous JIGGLE that causes him to lose his footing as he plants to fly. He
still gets airborn, but misses his mark as he flies gracelessly through the
air crashing down awkwardly on his neck. Both men lie motionless.
HERB: HOLY SHIT!
FRANK: HOLY SHIT
HERB: I JUST SAID THAT!
The crowd begins to count both men out. As they get to eight, their count is
broken as the ring starts to shimmy some more! As a result, the waving mat causes
Suavio's body to inch closer to Warrior's. Inch after inch after inch it goes.
Finally, we hear several moans that would put porn stars everywhere to shame
as the ring shakes one final time. From the movement, we see Suavio's arm as
it sticks straight out in the air as if giving a very aloof presidential type
wave. Watching intensely, the crowd gasps as his hand finally descends....RIGHT
ON WARRIOR'S TESTICLES!!! Dark Warrior groans out in pain, but is unable to
do anything from the damage done to his neck.
Drake's arms are next seen as he reaches for both his and Laura's clothes.
Giggling, they both slide from under the ring, looking dishelved as hell, but
happy nonetheless. Standing back up, Drake points at what is taking place inside
the ring. Laura slides under the bottom rope and makes the count....
1....
2....
And then completely forgets what the next number is. Drake thinks about saying
something but just slides in. Getting shoulder to shoulder with her, he encourages
her to start over with him. Together they make the count....
1....
2....
3!!!!!!!!
Calling for the bell, they raise Suavio's hand in victory before walking off
to the back. Both men are still motionless in the ring, Suavio's right hand
firmly over Warrior's testicles.
FRANK: Oh come on, get his hands off of there.
HERB: Hey, you put your hands where you have to in order to make a pin I guess.
FRANK: Thats just wrong. Suavio Mega should NOT have won that match.
How in the hell did this happen?
HERB: Well, I guess Suavio just um... Hell I dont even know how Suavio
got his arm up. I know how he made it to being within reaching distance of Warrior,
but I dont know how in the hell Suavio got his hand up. I wonder how Dark
Warrior is going to feel once he realizes he just lost this match AND Paige
to Suvio Mega.
FRANK: To hell with the small things Herb, Warrior has a match for the World
Title tonight, how in the hell is he going to be able to compete after landing
on his neck like that.
HERB: I dunno, but he had better find a way, or else Vacamas will win the World
Title and thatll be another lost opportunity for Warrior.
FRANK: Oh man this is bad.... Well folks, while we wait for Dark Warrior and
Suavio to make it out of the ring, were going to take you now to a debate
that was taped earlier this week. It was last Friday folks, and heres
what was said...
We then go to mid event. The playback has already started as the AWA production
crew tries to fit what they can of the debate into the allotted time slot for
Revelations.
C-ROCK: First of all, while I have you out here LJ, I'd like to congratulate
you getting past me in the AWA World Title Tournament. Few men have beat me,
and you definitely earned your victory over me. Congratulations!
C-Rock and LJ Vacamas shake hands.
C-ROCK: Secondly, Vacamas, I want to let you know that even though our match
ended in controversy, I have NO hard feelings and am proud that we are both
a part of the success of The Blueprint. I know, I know after our match I said
that this was far from over, but I want to tell you right now what I meant.
Your success and the success of The Blueprint is far from over here in the American
Wrestling Alliance. But the real reason why the two of you are out here tonight
on Friday Night Funk is to comment on your guys' main event match at Revelations!
My first question is to you Vacamas. This is your first pay-per-view main event.
Are you ready for the big time?
VACAMAS: It's never too soon if your good enough C-Rock and as you know,
"The Real Thing" is most certainly good enough.
C-ROCK: Is this too much in too little time for "The Real Thing"?
VACAMAS: For most people it certainly would be and facing someone the
calibre of Dark Warrior is definitely a step up in class. I have earned myself
the priviliege of fighting for the most prestigious title in this company and
I plan to make the most of it. I am the underdog going into this match and I
have nothing to lose and everything to gain. One thing is for certain, win or
lose, "The Real Thing Era" in the AWA is just going to get stronger
and stronger. This is just the beginning.
C-ROCK: Dark Warrior. You are my tag team partner, and I consider you a
close friend, something not often found in the AWA's climate today, and I want
the best for you. Undoubtablely, there has been one thing in your
career that has eluded you, and that is the AWA World Title. Now, going into
Revelations as the United States Champion and a heavy favorite, is this YOUR
time?
DARK WARRIOR: Well, to answer your question bluntly, yes it is my time. I've
been waiting for this for two years. I was asked to come in and make an
impact, and which I did. Over one year later, I became rookie of the year. One
fact that you should know is, every rookie of the year, has at least
held the World Title once in his career. I'm against one of two very tough
opponents I could have drawn.
Facing either of you would be a great challenge for myself. I may have had
some trouble in the ring, because I know your moves, just as well as you
know my moves. I don't have too many tricks up my sleeve, but you can expect
myself to come up with something for the show. If it is indeed my time, I will
make sure I take this company to new heights. I guess you could say I'll be
starting the BluePrint of the new American Wrestling Alliance.
I've said it was my time before, but I never got the chance to win the
title. I was either screwed out of the match, or I lost the match with a
"rookie" mistake. Now, I've corrected those mistakes and have begun
to teach others. LJ, care for a response?
VACAMAS: That's very true. Warrior, I have watched tapes from some of your
previous attempts at winning the World Title and you have certainly not
failed due to a lack of talent. This is undoubtedly your time and on paper
it's the best chance you have had to fulfil your destiny. I want you to
know though that "The Real Thing" is more mentally and physically
prepared
for this match than I have ever been and you could be in for a battle that
you never dreamed possible. Warrior, Revelations should be a night of
fulfilling your dreams, the defining moment of your career but you have to
prepare yourself for the possibility that it could quite easily turn into a
nightmare.
C-ROCK: In the first two rounds of the AWA World Title Tournament, you faced
two AWA rookies in Misery and Phoenix. Even though Vacamas is a cut above the
rest, does the fact that he is a rookie to the AWA play any effect in your match-up
on Sunday?
DARK WARRIOR: Yes I do think it will play a role in the match. It will play
a very important role in this match. But I am expecting better from LJ
Vacamas than I got from Phoenix, a man who never stood a chance against me.
Misery on the other hand gave me a match I'll never forget, which is what I
expect LJ to do. I personally think LJ has a great opportunity, and needs to
capitalize on it. I got the luck of the draw so far to grab three rookies.
Two of which show promise, and the other seems to have his head stuck up
Nightmists' ass.
LJ, you being a rookie means school is in session. I'm going to have to show
you what it takes to be the World Champion, not that with what has already been
taught to you by Santini won't already help you. I'm going to give you the in
ring work you need to become better. It will be okay to make a mistake against
me, because you'll have another shot for the World Title.
As you will have another shot for the World Title, I may not get an
opportunity like this again and I must capitalize on it. I've been thinking
about what to do during the match... And just as you did against C-Rock, I
will pull out all the stops. I do have two matches at the pay per view, but
my focus will be one hundred percent on you. I'll be awaiting a response.
We then cut back to the announce table with Frank Jackson and Herb Summers
once again.
FRANK: There you saw it folks. The price is high tonight as Dark Warrior and
L.J Vacamas will face off for the most prestigious prize in the AWA. Going into
this match, its been said that Warrior is the favorite to win.
HERB: Yeah, that was before he beat himself up with Suavio.
FRANK: uuughhh..... I still cant believe that.
HERB: Well, lets not cry over spilt milk here Frank, weve got a
rookie brawl to get to.
FRANK: Actually, its going to be a 'Rookie Battle Royal', where each
and everyone of AWA's newest members get to battle it out and see who gets there
very first title shot!
HERB: Yeah a bunch of green nobodies...this is sure to be fun...
FRANK: Well now hey, let's see what they've got. I'm sure they wouldn't have
been selected by our ever knowing President if they weren't.
HERB: Riiiight...oh look there making there way in...
'George Washington' by Hope of States erupts over the sound system, summoning
Atlas from the back. He makes his way down the isle and slides under the rope
and into the ring just as 'People Are Strange' by Twizted Interrupts the steady
flow of music. Atlas stands in the ring a moment...looking toward the hole to
the back, awaiting his first opponent. Something happens then...something very
odd indeed. The hole in toward the back room remains empty and silent. The camera
cuts back to Atlas as Id's music suddenly stops.
FRANK: Umm...I'm being told by the back that Id is nowhere to be seen...he no
showed the Rookie Battle Royal!!
HERB: Ah geeze. Rebelous kids.
The silence is all encompassing...and before any of it is lifted, Lavender Bush
runs in from the back and hits the baffled Atlas with a stiff spear to the midsection.
He lands hard and begins to exchange lefts and rights with Atlas' face as our
long holding silence is suddenly lifted by the sounds of "Shinobi vs. Dragon
Ninja" by Lost Prophets, of course ushering in Kamikazi. As the number
of bodies inside the ring continues to grow, 'Enterfaith' by SoulFly takes over
everything before Lestat begins his descent toward ringside. No sooner does
he enter the ring before 'Silence' by Econoline Crush makes everyone aware that
"Tremendous" Logan Tremain has taken it upon himself to grace us with
his presence.
Before anymore sound can give us heed to an approaching victim, the five men
already inside the squared circle begin to really take it to eachother. Kamikazi
lands two solid right hands to Logan Tremain's temple before planting a knee
in his stomach. Off the ropes and Kamikazi lands a flying shoulder block on
the rebounding Tremain. Our view cuts away from the ring a moment and toward
the entrance. 'If You're Gonna Be Dumb' by Roger Alan Wade erupts, bringing
with it none other than 'Sadistic' Sean Steele. Steele leaps over the top rope
and lands on an awaiting Lestat. The two men go down in a heap, exchanging random
blows with one another. The bell sounds as 'Dark Skies' begins to play and Rambo-J
makes his way toward the ring. Our match is officially underway as Rambo-J merely
stands near the apron on the outside, waiting to make his official entrance
into this bout.
Inside, Atlas and Lavender Bush continue to throw lefts and rights. Atlas is
able to thrust Bush's head beneath his right arm and bring him up high for a
suspended suplex. The ring shakes with there landing, however this does not
stop Kamikazi from whipping Tremain into the ropes, leaping over his head on
the way back and landing on his feet...as Tremain stops his momentum and delivers
a solid kick to the back of Kamikazi's head. Steele and Lestat are still going
at it, as Lestat tries to throw a right hand...but gets taken down in a hard
DDT for his efforts.
Rambo-J is still on the outside, stalking, waiting...he turns a corner and
seems as though he is going to enter the ring...but stalls halfway under the
rope only to remove himself once more. Meanwhile nearby, Atlas has taken Lavender
Bush between his legs and upwards, slamming his head down in a devestating looking
piledriver. Quick to his feet, he brings Bush with him, nearly decappitating
him with a series of stiff chops. One hard boot to the midsection and Bush is
bent over...a clubbing right hand from Atlas knocks him back to the canvas.
Atlas picks him back up, backs him toward the rope, and with what seems like
the most incredible display of power we have seen in ages, Atlas thrusts his
right fist into Bush's chest, and the momentum alone is enough to send him flying
over the top rope and onto the unforgiving floor beneath.
ANNOUNCER: Lavender Bush has been eliminated!!
FRANK: Oh what a way to go out! Did you see that power??
HERB: Scary stuff Frank.
Atlas stands near the rope, towering over everything else in the ring. He raises
his arms over his head a kind of victory march before the battle has been won.
This seems to be a fatal flaw however, for as he poses for the masses, Rambo-J
finally decides to make his way beneath the rope and officially enters the match.
He uses the ropes to leap forward with full momentum and land a beautiful dropkick
to the midback of Atlas. The proper amount of power was certainly present, as
Atlas is propelled over the top rope just as Bush had been moments ago, and
lands hard on the floor below.
ANNOUNCER: Atlas has been eliminated!!
HERB: Wow. How Ironic.
FRANK: You can say that again...
Atlas makes it to one knee, and the look on his face is undeniable. Anger and
rage wash over one another as Rambo-J dances about and celebrates inside of
the ring. Atlas walks over to the ropes and reaches up into the ring, grabbing
Rambo-J by the hair. J thrashes around a bit, but is unable to break free of
the iron grip of Atlas. In what seems to be a failing attempt at escape, Rambo
J sends a foot flying backwards into the ropes which catches Atlas square on
the jaw. Atlas releases Rambo J and Rambo is on his way running across the ring.
Atlas shakes it off and slides under the bottom rope to give chase after Rambo
J. Rambo doesnt wait around for Atlas to catch up with him one bit. Just
as Atlas begins to run across the ring after Rambo, Rambo slides under the bottom
rope on the opposite side of the ring. Atlas still gives chase though. Running
over to the other side of the ring and climbing through the second rope. Atlas
lack of speed compared to Rambo J gives Rambo J just the kind of advantage he
needs. Rambo begins to play cat and mouse with Atlas as he runs around the corner
of the ring. Just as Atlas makes it out of the ring, Rambo J waves around the
corner at him in a teasing fashion. Atlas being an angry giant at this point
continues to give chase. Before Atlas can make it to the one corner, Rambo J
is all the way down at the other corner already. Atlas looks down the length
of the ring to see Rambo waving at him from the other side. Atlas again runs
down the length of the ring. While Atlas is in the process of running along
the ring though, Rambo J runs over to the Spanish announce table and grabs a
chair from one of the Spanish announcers. Rambo then goes back to the corner
and ducks to hide from Atlas. Just as Atlas makes it to the corner, Rambo J
jumps up and cracks Atlas in the head with the chair. Atlas staggers back, but
doesnt go down. Rambo looks at the nearly bent in half chair and cant
believe Atlas didnt go down. Rambo flips the chair around and again cracks
Atlas in the head with the chair in an attempt to bend it back the other way,
or possibly take Atlas off of his feet. Rambo is successful in one of these
objectives, but Atlas is still on his feet. Although bleeding profusely from
the head, Atlas is still standing. Rambo still cant believe it. In one
final attempt, Rambo runs past Atlas, jumps up onto the guard rail and launches
himself off back towards Atlas. THWACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rambo cracks Atlas AGAIN
with the chair and the chair flies out of Rambos hands. This time, Atlas
goes down.... To one knee? Rambo gets up to his feet and cant believe
it. Atlas is obviously shaken, but hes still trying to make it back up
to his feet.
Back in the ring, the other four wrestlers are wrestling as if they are the
final four. Lestat seems to have gotten some momentum behind him and has mounted
a counter attack on Sean Steele. A bodyslam is followed by a falling elbow,
leaving Steele dazed on the canvas. Lestat plants a series of right hands on
Steele's head as Logan Tremain whips Kamikaze against the ropes right past Lestat
and Steele. Upon his return, Tremain hits a beautiful tilt-a-whirl back breaker
on Kamikaze. With his back still sprawled across his knee, Tremain hits two
clubbing blows on his chest before rolling him onto the canvas. Lestat meanwhile,
has lifted Steele to his feet once more, and goes to hit him with a hard kick
to the side of the head. Steele is quick, however, and catches Lestat's foot.
This sudden unexpected turn goes unrewarded, however, as Lestat quickly delivers
a beautiful Enziguri.
The camera suddenly cuts back to ringside, and we can see Atlas has Rambo-J
over his head in a gorilla press slam. He is just about to drop J over the barricade
and into the awaiting crowd, but Rambo is able to slide out of his grasp and
behind him. Again he plants a hard dropkick, again knocking Atlas forward, this
time into the crowd himself. Suddenly, Rambo looks at the apron near where he
is standing. He dashes to it and leaps up, waits a moment for Atlas to get to
a knee, before landing an awesome flying DDT, planting Atlas' head hard onto
the floor. Both men are down as we return to the action inside the ring.
Lestat has continued to work on Sean Steele, enough so to have whipped him
against the ropes again...awaiting his return in order to meet his neck with
a clothesline. Steele ducks however, and on his way back grabs Lestat by the
head and slams it hard into the mat with a bulldog. Both men are down as we
notice Kamikaze has begun to fight back on Tremain. Logan attempts a headbutt,
but instead is rocked by a headbutt by Kamikaze instead. Kamikaze follows it
up with another, and another, before signalling toward the crowd and hitting
a beautiful Korkscrew. Tremain is down, and Kamikaze leaps atop a nearby turnbuckle,
flying foward and landing a nice Swanton Bomb. Tremain is hurt and Kamikaze
takes advantage, lifting him to his feet and grabbing his hair before throwing
him over the top rope.
ANNOUNCER: Logan Tremain has been eliminated!!
FRANK: Total Non-Stop Action here, Herb!
HERB: Uh...sorry to burst your bubble but I think that's trademarked...
FRANK: What?
HERB: Do you have any idea about this sport at all? I mean, at all??
FRANK: The hell are you talking about...?
HERB: Nevermind...just call the match.
Kamikaze is up, seemingly pumped full of adrenaline. Lestat and Steele are still
on the mat exchanging blows, as Kamikaze rushes over and lands on both of them
with a legdrop. All three men are down, and Kamikaze is first to his feet. Lestat
follows closely behind and the two begin to go at it. Lefts and rights are exchanged,
and Lestat tries to throw Kamikaze over. Kaze whips him against the ropes however,
and lowers his head for a back body drop. Lestat stops short and kicks Kamikaze
in the chest. He lands two stiff chops before Steele grabs his arm from behind
and plants two hard right hands on his forehead.
The two go at it once more and Steele grabs Lestat by the head, placing it under
his arm. In one fluid motion, Steele takes him up and then down in a gorgeous
Screwdriver. Lestat is out on the ground and Steele seizes his opportunity to
lift him to his feet, and throw him over the top rope. Lestat hits the ground
hard.
ANNOUNCER: Lestat has been eliminated!!
Steele and Kamikaze meet center ring, staring dead into eachothers eyes. Kamikaze
goes to hit a hard right hand but Steele blocks it and delivers one of his own
instead. Kamikaze tries again, but still, Steele is able to reverse it and hit
his own hard right hand. He quickly plants Kamikazes head under his arm and
takes him to the mat with a hard DDT. Steele is quick to his feet and plants
two solid kicks to Kamikazes rib cage. He lifts Kamikaze to his feet and hits
a nice standing belly to belly. Quick to his feet again, Steele lifts Kamikaze
up with him.
Off the ropes goes Kamikaze by Steele's momentum. Upon his return, Kamikaze
is able to lift his arm and clothesline Steele...who goes over the top rope.
However, before his feet hit the ground, Steele is able to stop his momentum
and hold on tightly to the top rope. Kamikaze turns his back to him, celebrating
his alleged victory center ring. Steele pulls himself up, back over the top
rope, and square into the ring. Kamikaze seems to have heard the sound of his
landing as he slowly turns around, only to be hit with a Screwdriver as well.
Steele lifts Kamikaze back to his feet and easily propels him over the top rope
and onto the hard floor beneath. Sean sees this and falls to his knees, raising
both arms in victory.
ANNOUNCER: Kamikaze has been eliminated!!
Back to the outside we go as we see Rambo J slowly crawling back over the guard
rail. Sean Steele is up to his feet celebrating now as the fans cheer for him.
Rambo J quickly makes it back into the ring as Sean Steele is now standing up
on the turnbuckle. Rambo, in a fleeting burst of energy runs over and pushes
Steele from the top turnbuckle.
HERB: WHOA MOMMA!!!
FRANK: Steele didnt even see him coming.
But that doesnt seem to even matter. As soon as Steele felt himself being
pushed from behind, he immediately grabbed onto the rope at his right. In a
twisted motion, Steele falls, but manages to keep a grip on the rope to keep
himself from being eliminated. Rambo J doesnt realize it at first, and
he himself begins to think that he is the winner, but is informed otherwise
as he looks up at the AWAtron to see Sean Steele standing on the outside apron
looking back in the ring at Rambo. A replay of what just happened then hits
the AWAtron and Rambo turns with a surprised look on his face. Rambo cant
believe that Steele was able to hold on the way he did, but then again, neither
is the crowd. Rambo takes off running towards Sean Steele. Rambo tries the most
basic of moves to finish putting Steele to the floor. Rambo goes for a running
shoulder block, but Steele falls to the mat, pulling the top rope down with
him and its Rambo J who goes over the top rope and falls to the floor
outside bringing this match to an end.
ANNOUNCER: Rambo J has been eliminated, leaving 'Sadistic' Sean Steele as your
WINNER!!
FRANK: Well, I guess when youre meant to win, youre just meant
to win.
HERB: Now why cant you realize that with Suavio Mega?
FRANK: And I was doing so well forgetting about that.
HERB: Oh, dont worry, I wont let you get Alzheimer on me. Just
call me the cure.
FRANK: Geee, thanks.
HERB: Hmm..... Im being told that something is going on in the back Frank,
were going to go there now, live.
Backstage we go now and we see a distraught Paige who still cant believe
what happened earlier tonight. Tears are running down her face as shes
watching a replay of the first match of the night. Paige gets up to leave the
room, but as soon as she opens the door, we see an independent security team
standing guard outside her door. Paige tries to leave the room, but she is presented
with a problem as none of the security guards will move to allow her to pass.
PAIGE: What the hell is wrong with you? Let me ot of here.
SECURITY GUARD: Sorry mam, but I cant let you do that. Im under
specific orders not to let you leave until Mr. Mega has come to call on you.
PAIGE: Mr. Mega? No!!! Im not going anywhere with him.
Just then, we see Dark Warrior being brought across the hallway on a stretcher
with his neck in a brace. Warrior looks at the scenario and jumps from the stretcher.
The EMTs try to stop him, but its of little use as he pushes them
aside. Warrior now stands in front of the security guard.
WARRIOR: You might want to move out of the way and let me pass.
SECURITY GUARD: Sorry sir, but I cant do that.
Warrior sucks air through his teeth.
WARRIOR: Wht do you mean you CANT do that.
SECURITY GUARD: I cant let you be around Paige sir. Im afraid Im
going to have to ask you to keep moving along now.
WARRIOR: You cant let me be around Paige? I think youve got things
a little confused here.
SECURITY GUARD: No sir. Ive been served a copy of the contract and have
been instructed to make sure that no one tries to break its binding agreement.
As of the end of your match Paige belongs to Mr. Suavio Mega.
Paige is crying behind the wall of security guards. She doesnt want to
accept what is the inevitable outcome of this whole ordeal.
PAIGE: What .... *sniff* What do you mean.... *sniff* Belong?
SECURITY GUARD: Well, thats pretty much up to Mr. Suavio Mega mam. All
Im supposed to do is make sure that you leave under Mr. Megas custody
and that Mr. Warrior doesnt try to interfere or come within thirty feet
of you mam.
WARRIOR: You better move right now. Thirty feet my ass.
SECURITY GUARD: Sir, if you dont-
The security guard cant even finish what he was about to say before Warrior
slams his fist into the mans head. The guard goes down like a sack of potatoes
and Warrior begins to reach for Paige and she reaches back. But before Warrior
can make it to her, he is swarmed by the independent security team and they
begin tagging him with stun guns. Warrior begins shaking violently as the jolts
of electricity shoot through his body. Paige screams as she is forced away from
Warrior by the ever present security team. We then go back to the announce table.
FRANK: OH MY GOD!!!! What the hell is going on back there.
HERB: Looks like Warrior wasnt REALLY ready to accept the terms of the
match he agreed to. It also looks like Suavio Mega enlisted the help of an independent
security firm to protect his investment.
FRANK: Investment, its Paige, shes not a piece of property. How
can Suavio Mega OWN her?
HERB: Well, Warrior AND Paige both agreed to the stipulations of the match.
FRANK: Yeah, but they didnt really think that Suavio could win. I mean
come on...
HERB: Oh, I hear something else is going on backstage now.
We go backstage where we see Misery is getting ready for his match-up and all
of a sudden we see a sledge hammer hitting him from behind. It is Rawstarr and
he grabs Miserys feet and puts him in "The Kicka" and holds
it.
At the same time in another location backstage we see Big bad blue grabbing
the fish out of his tank. Big Bad Blue power bombs The Fish and then picks him
up to deliver a blue driver onto the hard cement floor.
We then jump to another location where we see Javex watching all this in amazement
and as he turns he catches a boot to the face from Tim ""The Giant""
then a ddt to the floor.Tthen Tim "The Giant" lifts Javex up and puts
him in the TOKE Slam.
After Blue and Tim do their deed they run out but Rawstarr holds the hold until
referees come and get him off.
HERB: Wow, NPD pulling off a massive attack backstage there.
FRANK: Who cares about NPD, what about Dark Warrior and Paige. This isnt
right. Cant we get someone to rule Drake Hyde and Laura out as interfering
in the match to make the stipulations null and void?
HERB: I dunno, I sure hope not. And how in the blue hell can you claim that
a ref interfered in a match, ESPECIALLY when the ref NEVER touched either wrestler?
The camera shoots to the AWAtron where you see a red background with a shadow
of a person*
VOICE: I've been exiled.... I've been forgotten.. Well now... I am back...
It's been months... Seems like years... You will not forget me.... I will not
let you..... Just sit and wait.... Your next AWA champ... Has arrived
The mans shadow disappears and with a black background and silver letters says
"In 2 weeks.... He's coming..." After that the camera zooms off the
AWAtron*
HERB: What the hell was that?
FRANK: That was.... Oh hell I dont know Herb, hes someone coming
to the AWA in two weeks. Now can we get back to the problem at hand? We need
to find a way to get Dark Warrior and Paige out of their agreement.
HERB: HA!!! Have fun looking. I just wish they would have made it a year instead
of thirty days.
FRANK: How can you say that? Think of the misery Warrior and Paige will have
to endure. I mean just the thought of that Suavio Mega guy doing what ever he
wants with her. Touching her where ever he wants to touch her. Taking her where
ever he wants to take her.
HERB: Hey, think about the happiness Paige will bring to Suavio for thirty
days. Well, more like three days because its going to take Suavio about
three and a half weeks to heal to a point that he can enjoy his victory. But
weve got to focus on other things now because here comes Surge for his
match.
"Breathe In Breathe Out" begins to play as Surge comes walking out
from backstage. Surge gets down to the ring and climbs in. Upon doing so, the
AWAtron comes to life. We are taken backstage where we see Adam Bawm and Rival
talk amongst each other as they walk.
ADAM BAWM: Oh man, I cant wait. Im going to get Drake Hyde and
its going to be like BLAM!!!
RIVAL: Yeah, and when I get that King Chozen, itll be like SLAM!!!
BOTH ADAM AND RIVAL: And when we get them, itll be like DAMN!!!!!
Both men start laughing as they continue to walk. As they walk though, they
bump into Kris Synz who is at the coffee table getting a cup of coffee. Adam
Bawm bumps into Kris and then stops as Kris spills coffee on Bawms foot.
Bawm and Rival look Kris up and down.
ADAM BAWM: Um... Excuse you, but you just spilt coffee on my foot.
KRIS: Yeah, well you should have watched where you were going then.
ADAM BAWM: No, really, YOU spilled coffee on MY shoe. So...
And just like that, Adam Bawm and Rival begin attacking Kris Synz. We watch
on as they beat Kris Synz to the point that he cant even stand on his
own. Bawm then slams the coffee pot over Kriss head and scalding hot coffee
spills all over Kris Synz. We then go back to the announce table.
HERB: I guess thats their way of saying that Kris Synz is unable to compete
in his match tonight.
FRANK: So what does this mena for Surge?
HERB: Well, from the looks of things, hes disappointed at the fact he
doesnt get to have a match tonight, but hey, there will be other days
to have a match. At least he isnt in Kris Synzz shoes right now.
FRANK: Oh, those have got to be some hot shoes to be in at the moment.
HERB: Oh yeah. Hold on, it looks like the ring announcer has something to say.
RING ANNOUNCER: Ladies and gentlemen. After already having one match canceled
it is my unfortunate duty to report to you at this time that Doc Ozz vs. The
Fisherman will not take place either. If you would like to look to the AWAtron
at this time, you will see why.
The AWAtron comes to life once again as we see a furious Dark Warrior stomping
around the backstage area with The Blueprint in tow.
DARK WARRIOR: WHERE IS HE!!!
Warrior looks like he could kill someone right now. EMTs are buzzing
around him like flies, but he just shoves them away refusing their medical attention.
The Fisherman is seen preparing for his match when Dark Warrior comes right
up on him.
DARK WARRIOR: (Through closed teeth) Where is he?!
THE FISHERMAN: Yar... Wheres who matey?
DARK WARRIOR: You know who... Wheres that piece of sh!t Suavio Mega at?
THE FISHERMAN: Yar matey... I dont know of this Suavio Mega you speak
of.
DARK WARRIOR: Fine, wheres Drake Hyde? I dont care who it is anymore,
Im going to beat the living hell out of someone tonight.
THE FISHERMAN: Nope... Dont know this Drake Hyde guy either matey.
DARK WARRIOR: Well then, it looks like you found yourself in all the wrong
places, with all the wrong answers tonight then, now doesnt it.
THE FISHERMAN: Yar...
And then Dark Warrior floors The Fisherman as the rest of The Blueprint begin
stomping away at The Fisherman. Then, all of a sudden, the large garage door
in front of the massive beating taking place opens. Outside the door, we see
Paige being forced into an ambulance with Suavio Mega by the independant security
team.
C-ROCK: Warrior....
Dark Warrior is too deeply enthralled in the beating he is serving The Fisherman
at the moment.
L.J VACAMAS: Warrior!!
This time, Warrior looks up to see whats going on just as the security
guards shut the door behind Paige. We see Paige crying as her face fills the
rear window of the ambulance. The guards pound on the back of hte ambulance
giving an all clear signal for them to take off. Dark Warrior jumps off of The
Fisherman and runs right into the middle of the security team. The Blueprint
follows him in and the security team is no match for them in the least. The
guards dont even have enough time to pull their stun guns. But its
too late for Warrior, as the ambulance has already pulled away.
DARK WARRIOR: DAMNIT!!! I need a car...
Warrior begins to run off when C-Rock and Vacams grab him and pull him back.
C-ROCK: You cant man, you have a match you have to stay here for.
WARRIOR: Ill be back before its time for my match.
L.J VACAMAS: No man, you cant take that chance. This is our night, we
cant let anything stop us from doing what we came to do.
WARRIOR: I have to get Paige back though.
C-ROCK: We can do that after the show. Shes going to the hospital, I
dont think that punk is leaving anytime soon. Well go there after
the show and well get her back.
We then go back to the announce table.
FRANK: Oh man... I hope this doesnt affect Dark Warriors performance
in the main event tonight.
HERB: Well, it would be pretty stupid to think t wouldnt, dont
you think.
FRANK: Oh man...
HERB: Hey, dont worry. Dark Warrior can make history as being the only
man whos had as many World Title shots as he has and never won a single
one of them.
FRANK: Oh shut up, thats not even funny.
HERB: It wasnt meant to be. And now we take you back to the ring folks
as we get set for a match that will not be de-railed.
"What If?" begins to play as Phoenix comes walking out onto the rampway.
The crowd shows him that they arent ignoring his name in this match and
Phoenix receives a decent pop from the crowd. Phoenix makes it down to the ring
and climbs in. Phoenix makes it over to the turnbuckle and climbs up. Phoenix
signals to the crowd to get another reaction and as he does, "Back In The
Saddle" begins to play as Snakebite comes out to the ring drinking from
a bottle of Jack Daniels. Snakebite pauses for a bit and then raises his arm
to the crowd to get a reaction from them and he does. Snakebite makes it down
to the ring and climbs in. Next up, "Weeping Wall" plays out as Low
and Ramona come out onto the rampway. Low doesnt seem to want to wait
any longer for this match to take place. Low runs down to the ring and slides
in under the bottom rope, as soon as he does, the bell is sounded. Right away
all three men go after each other. There doesnt seem to be a preference
in who they go after. Low nails Phoenix right after Phoenix nails Snakebite.
Snakebite staggers back and instead of going back after Phoenix who hit him,
he nails Low. This match is off to a fast pace as Snakebite goes for a suplex
on Low but Phoenix stops that short as he delivers a strong kick to the shoulders
of both men sending them crashing over to the side. Phoenix is back up, but
so are Low and Snakebite. We then see Low and Snakebite work together to take
Phoenix down with a double suplex after they both deliver a kick to his midsection.
HERB: Who ever would have thought we would see this. Snakebite and Low teaming
up...
But that didnt last long at all as Snakebite and Low are already back
at each other. Its Low with a devastating right hand that spins Snakebite
around. On the rebound spin, Snakebite answers back with a savat kick to the
chin of Low that takes Low off of his feet. Just then though, Snakebite is taken
off of his feet as well as Phoenix nails him with a diving shoulder tackle.
Both Snakebite and Phoenix roll around on the mat exchanging blows. This give
Low enough time to get up to his feet though and he does just that. With Low
up to his feet now, he takes a step back looking on as Snakebite and Phoneix
continue to exchange rights and lefts.
HERB: Low playing it smart here.
FRANK: Or playing it like a coward.
HERB: What!!! Oh please, how could you call him a coward. This is obviously
the smart thing to do. Lows a smart wrestler, thats what he does.
Why slug it out with a couple of brawlers. Why not let them slug it out with
themselves and then just pick up the pieces after theyre done?
FRANK: Stop trying to sound educated.
Back inside the ring, Snakebite is now on top of Phoenix. Low inserts himself
into the mix up at this point. Low walks over, stepping over the two on the
mat, he grabs Snakebite in a sugar hold and leans back into it. Phoenix crawls
out from under Snakebite and Low and gets up to his feet. Low seems to think
that Phoenix would back off for a few seconds to let Low wear Snakebite down
a little, but what Low thinks, and what Phoenix do are two separate things.
Phoenix doesnt agree with what Low thinks, as Phoenix thinks that he should
plant a boot to the side of Lows head, and thats exactly what he
does. Low goes down, and Snakebite is now free. Now its Snakebite and
Phoenix who work together as they each grab one of Lows legs and make
a wish.
HERB: OUCH!!! Man, why do they have to go and do something like that.
FRANK: I dunno, maybe they thought Low could do the splits.
HERB: Maybe they should see if you can do the splits.
Low is holding his groin area after being pulled apart at the legs. Snakebite
and Phoenix now going after each other. Or should I say its Phoenix going
after Snakebite as he grabs him in a belly to belly and delivers the suplex.
Snakebite goes down, and not Phoenix jumps up on top of him and begins raining
down on him with lefts and rights. Snakebite doesnt play role of the victim
too well though and is soon throwing his own lefts and rights back up at Phoenix.
This continues until Low gets to his feet. All is broken up when Low hits Phoenix
with a lower drop kick that nails Phoenix right in the temple as he sits over
Snakebite. Phoenix tumbles over, and Low doesnt even go after Phoenix
anymore from that point. Instead, Low goes after Snakebite before Snakebite
can get up to his feet. Low pulls Snakebite up and sends a boot flying into
his gut. Low tries to end it early as he goes for a Low Stunner, but Snakebite
has the move well scouted and just as Low gets his arm around Snakebites
neck, Snakebite reaches his arms around Low, grabbing him around his arm and
neck, joining his hands in the front of Lows chest. From here, before
Low can drop down, Snakebite takes Low crashing back with him in a dragon suplex.
Low goes down hard and folds in half on impact. Snakebite gets back up to his
feet, and then begins to pull Low back up since he has just taken a bit out
of him. This time Snakebite sends Low into the corner with an irish whip. Snakebite
follows him in slowly and begins to lay into Low with a series of knife edge
chops. The crowd begins to WOOOOOO!!! With each chop. After five chops, Snakebite
goes for another, but Low blocks it and answers back with a chop of his own.
The crowd responds, and then Snakebite comes back with another chop. The crowd
is al over this chop-fest as the sounds of the chops ring out in the arena.
Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Lows chest is almost beat
red, but hes still going. But that doesnt matter any to Phoenix
who just came crashing down on both Low and Snakebite. Phoenix pulls both men
back up and slams their heads together in a double head butt. The crowd reacts,
some in cheers, others in boos. Phoenix pulls them back and is attempts to do
it again. This time how ever, Low and Snakebite manage to get their hands up
against each others head to stop the impact. Phoenix looks surprised, but hes
even more surprised by what happens next. Snakebite and Low BOTH grab Phoenix
by his head and slam THEIR heads into HIS head. Phoenix goes down hard and the
entire crowd erupts into cheers.
HERB: Now thats using their heads, HAHAHAHA!!!
FRANK: Well, youre right for a change so I guess I wont make fun
of you.
HERB: Um.... Suavio Mega.
FRANK: Shut up!!!
Herb: HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Snakebite and Low now go back to working as a team again. They pull Phoenix
up and walk him over to the ropes where Snakebite then proceeds to lock Phoenix
into the octopus. While Snakebite has Phoenix tied up in the rope, Low begins
to deliver super kick, after super kick, after super kick. Low gets in a grand
total of three superkicks in a row before the ref makes Snakebite break the
hold. Snakebite breaks the hold and Phoenix falls to the mat. Low doesnt
let him rest for long though and picks him right back up. Low takes Phoenix
over with a german suplex and rolls to his side to pull Phoenix up again. Low
lands another, and begins to roll Phoenix through again.
FRANK: Um.... Isnt that supposed to be Snakebites little special
move?
HERB: I guess this is Lows way of saying that he can do anything Snakebite
can do, or something like that.
But Snakebite wont let Low finish showing off for the crowd as he nails
Low with a savat kick once Low gets himself and Phoenix back up to their feet.
Low goes down, but Phoenix is still standing, as wobbly as could be, but standing
just the same. Snakebite takes Lows place and grabs Phoenix around the
waist and takes him up & over. Snakebite keeps a grip and rolls through
to pull himself and Phoenix back up again to their feet. Snakebite takes Phoenix
up and over again.
HERB: Well, theres number four for Phoenix.
Snakebite again rolls them both up to their feet and takes Phoenix up and over
again.
FRANK: And theres five. Poor, poor Phoenix.
Snakebite isnt done yet though, as he rolls through again and now both
Phoenix and Snakebite are up to their feet again. This time, it is Low who nails
Snakebite with a superkick. Low quickly moves in behind Phoenix and takes him
down for his sixth german suplex.
HERB: SIX!!!! Six german suplexs in a row Frank. Phoenix must be done.
FRANK: Id have to agree with you.
Low then pulls Phoenix over and locks him into the Low Profile. Phoenix doesnt
even look like hes conscious at this point. The ref is checking for any
signs of life from Phoenix, but doesnt find any. The ref raises Phoenixs
hand into the air and lets it fall. The ref raises Phoenixs hand into
the air again, but this time, before he can even let go of his hand, Snakebite
pushes the ref out of the way and grabs Low up breaking the Low Profile. Snakebite
has his hands locked again around Lows neck and arm as he takes him back
for another dragon suplex. Low goes down hard. Snakebite is back up though,
and pulls Phoenix up. Snakebite sends Phoenix into the corner with an irish
whip and follows him in. Snakebite spins Phoenix around and lifts him up in
an atomic drop position but then sets him up on the top rope. Snakebite then
climbs up behind Phoenix and nails the Venom Strike, Snakebite gets up to his
feet and is about to go for the cover. But once he gets to his feet, he is taken
by surprise with a boot to the gut and a Low Stunner. Snakebite crashes hard
after the stunner, and Low makes the cover on Phoenix realizing that he has
a better chance of pinning Phoenix after all hes been through in this
match. The ref hits the mat and makes the count 1.... 2.... 3.....
HERB: Oh man, what a match.
FRANK: Phoenix has nothing to be a shamed of here Herb. He came, he gave it
all, and he gave two AWA legends a run for their money. I mean hell, it took
both Low and Snakebite working as a team to beat him.
HERB: Yeah, he can certainly raise his head high after this fight.
We then go to an advertising block for AWA merchandise. A few tease trailers
are shown for matches that are still to come. When we come back a talkative
crowd chatters among every nook and cranny of the arena. They are quite restless
and are ready to see some action. The noise of random voices continues filling
the air - suddenly, as if they saw it coming, the whole crowd erupts in cheers
as "Vivrant Thing" by Q-Tip, hits the speakers. Out pops Lustful Laura,
jumping excitingly in the air. Shes wearing a pair of black short shorts
and the same sports bra she was wearing earlier in the night as a ref. Laura
has the AWA Womans Championship belt in her hands as she makes it down
to the ring. Catcalls can still be heard over her music. Once Laura gets to
the ring, she bends between the top and second rope again straddling the second
rope Laura shakes her "assets" for the crowd. Laura makes it into
the ring and begins to wait for her opponent. While Laura waits, she tries to
remember how to breathe. After a few successful practice tries, she tries for
the real thing, but begins coughing as she somehow messes it up. She decides
its better if she just waits instead.
FRANK: God, what an idiot. You know, shes part of the reason Dark Warrior
lost.
HERB: Oh come on, how are you going to blame her? She doesnt even know
how to breathe, look at her. She couldnt mastermind a one piece jigsaw
puzzle, let alone figure out how to put it together. I think its a little
unfair to hold her accountable for her actions Frank.
FRANK: Oh really, and whys that?
HERB: Well, you should have an IQ at least equal to a hole if you are going
to be held accountable for something.
FRANK: I guess youve got a point.
She doesnt wait more than a minute however, because soon after her entry
in the ring, "Wangsta" by 50 Cent blares over the speakers. Looking
rather pompous and cocky, Lady C comes out to the ring wearing a tight leather
outfit. Mrs. Rawness accompanies her. Lady C jumps over the ropes and enters
the ring - she charges right over to Laura and shoves her to the mat. The bell
is rung.
HERB: Whoa, I guess Lady C is in a hurry to get this match started or something.
FRANK: YEAH!!! Beat her Lady C. Beat her like Warrior beat Suavio!!!
HERB: Yeah, because we saw how well that worked for Warrior.
FRANK: Oh shut up.
Laura, seemingly dazed by the push, staggers back to her feet and slaps Lady
C across the face. Lady C stumbles back, but manages to stand her ground. She
marches right in front of Laura and slaps her in the face. Laura retaliates
by clotheslining Lady C down to the mat. The crowd cheers and Laura continues
by delivering a solid leg drop. She immediately dives down for the pin - however,
instead of staying on her, Laura leaps off and slams her hand on the mat, as
if she is the referee. The real ref walks over to Laura and shakes her - she
begins yelling at him as if she really is the ref and hes not. Tied up
by such a ditsy situation, Lady C hops back to her feet and runs at Laura with
a devastating dropkick. Laura goes down hard; Lady C goes for a pin - "1-".
The ref doesnt even get a two count in, before Laura kicks out.
Lady C tries to pull Laura up and deliver a DDT, but Laura counters by pushing
her away and nails a DDT of her own on Lady C. Laura rushes on to the top turnbuckle
and leaps off with a beautiful flying bodypress. She covers for the pin on Lady
C, this time aware of the fact that she is not the referee. "1, 2-"
The ref nearly gets to the three count, but Lady C manages to get the shoulder
up. Laura doesnt allow Lady C to get to her feet by herself; rather, Laura
pulls Lady C by the hair and yanks her up to a standing position. Laura begins
dishing out a series of knife-edge chops on Lady C, and then throws her out
of the ring. With Lady C laying flat on the ground, Laura darts for the top
turnbuckle, gets herself on it, and catapults herself off, in an attempt to
inflict pain through a nasty elbow drop. This does not follow through however,
because Lady C rolls out of the way. Both women lay on the floor, struggling
to get to their feet - the ref begins the outside count.
By the time the referee hits the 6 in his counting, Lady C is back to her feet.
She manages to roll herself into the ring. On the 7th count, Laura does the
same. Both ladies are now in the ring once again and are still trying to regain
their balance on two feet. They are both successful in getting up, using the
ropes as leverage. Lady C shakes her head and comes running at Laura with a
clothesline - Laura ducks and counters with a very harmful looking roundhouse
kick. She then pulls up Lady C enough to drive her back down with a well-placed
impact DDT. She is about to make the cover, but instead stands over Lady C in
confusion, looking around, very clueless. So in another blonde moment, Laura
grabs the referees arm and tosses him down over Lady C and begins counting.
She gets to two, when the ref jolts himself up and begins yelling at Laura,
telling her that he is the ref and she is not.
Laura scratches her head and shrugs her shoulders, then calmly walks over to
Lady C. Lady C, aware of Laura, tries to pull her down on the mat, but instead,
Laura pulls Lady C up and delivers a potent jawbreaker. She then motions to
the crowd and sets up Lady C for, "Hollywoods Falling Star."
Lustful Laura pulls it off flawlessly and goes right into the pin. The ref counts
"1, 2, 3!" The bell rings, the crowd cheers, and Lustful Laura keeps
her treasured title
FRANK: Herb.... Youve talked to Laura before, right?
HERB: Sure I have. Why?
FRANK: Please tell me this is all an act.
HERB: Sorry to say Frank, but no one can act THAT good. Shes the real
deal.
FRANK: uuughhhh..........
The fans finally start calming down from what was just a wild match, when suddenly,
the lights begin to dim greatly, not quite to pitch black, but a darkness so
that the fans across the ring barriers, cant one another, and only
can see that of the ring, and the entrance way. The fans begin to shout and
yell out in anticipation as ""Calling From Heaven"" starts
up, and plays throughout the arena. The vibes of the song echo though-out the
arena, just the sounds of it, telling you of a powerful presence about to appear.
After about twenty seconds into the song, a figure appears, dressed in black,
a hood over his head as all attention is driven towards him. The fans, wondering,
who this could be, and why he or she is here, as the figure, continues to stand
there, for another ten to twenty seconds into the song, before he solemnly walks
to the ring, slowly, as if each step were more powerful, more important than
the last, yet with the grace of an angel among the heavens, as the figure makes
its way towards the ring, then slowly walks up towards the stairway,
looking around the arena as the fans anticipation grows to an all-time high,
with then speaking to whomever is right next to each other, of who this is,
who it could be.
The figure says nothing, but instead gets in the ring, slowly, underneath his
cloak, producing a mic, as his music slowly begins to fade out, the lights coming
back on, not fully, but so that each fan in the arena can see the figure and
gaze in wonder of who this is.
Herb: Who is this mystery man? Or woman? Or what?
Frank: I have no idea Herb! I dont have anything about an appearance
from anyone other than what we have seen before tonight.
Herb: Well whomever he is, I think we are about to find out who this is as
he looks ready to speak
The figure puts the mic up to his lips as he speaks, slowly, his words, being
heard without restraint by anyone or anything:
"Mortis no estre morste
was a quote I said about a year ago
to the world. And now I say it again, here, tonight
""
Frank & Herb and just about every fan who remembers him in the AWA: MORTIS!!!!
Mortis pulls off his hood, the fans in shock, not giving a reaction either
way, just pure shock as Mortis looks around before he speaks again:
""It has been a long time, yes?""
The audience is still stunned at these turn of events as Mortis nods in agreement
to his question:
""Yes. When was it that you saw me? Ah yes, Classic, 2002. The night
legends are made, and those who arent, have their reputations enhance
more than they could have ever dreamed of. That was my last night, my last match,
my last moment, before I disappeared from the AWA
seemingly, forever.""
""And so went the question, is Mortis gone forever. Where has he
gone? When is he coming back, or is he? Well, that I will reveal more and more
as time passes on, but a summary now will suffice. Where I went was to a place
to better myself in and out of this business. Both in the ring, and out of it,
in the office. Much after Lows and my match, I felt that, as good
as I was, I needed to be better. I need to have better offense, better defense.
Sure, I can wrestle, I can fight, I can brawl, I can leap atop the turnbuckle
and fly off like a fallen angel straight to hell, but still, I wanted more,
I needed more, and I got more in the form of one of the most ancient arts of
all-martial arts.""
""Yes, martial arts, where oneself is as good, if not better than
any weapon, any gun, any chair, any chain or whatever else. So I learned it,
I was obsessed by it, just as I was obsessed by this business, and I became
not better in it, but one of the best, if not THE best. However, that is not
all. You see, before, I would always go headstrong, beating the shit out of
whomever I could, whenever I could, anyway I was able to. Granted, some of my
plans were pure mastermind, timing the key, brutality the measure, but still,
I could do so much more, plan so much better, if I knew both how to do things
in and out of the business. In the ring, and out in the office. And so I learned,
I learned from the best matchmakers, best promoters, and such in japan. I learned
their successes, their failures, and overall learned a good bit more of how
a promoter things and how to make things go my way, when I needed to.""
Mortis pauses, the fans listening to every word that he has to say. He shakes
his head strangely enough before he speaks again:
""However, despite all that I learned, nothing, would prepare me
for what else I would. I learned something that made those last six months,
fuck, my entire career seem like only seconds of knowledge compared to the next
lesson I learned
.""
""I am sure many of you remember Morticia. Like her or hated her,
I know you remembered her. And many of you also probably remember that she was
in a car accident that screw her legs up pretty bad. But she was determined,
if not obsessed, to get back in this business, just as I was to stay in it.
So she tried her best, each and every day, to first walk, then run, and then,
finally wrestle. Hell, she was ready to go, two months early
or so
she and everyone else thought.""
""She came back, and wrestled a few matches, things looking like
she hadnt slowed down a bit since the accident. Hell, she even looked
BETTER than she did before, showing no slow down, nor any let up on her opponents.
Yet, as good as she was, there was a problem, and that was just as I said
she
came back two months too early. Two months of healing her legs should have really
gotten.""
""You see, in this business, people like me and Morticia, we dont
let an injury get us down for long-if at all. No matter if it's a scarred up
face, broken arm, smashed knee, burned someplace or another, or having your
ass driven in some vehicle by Hangman as full speed, before crashing, we dont
let it get us down, instead we pick up the pieces, and keep going and keep fighting.
Thats what we do, we have no alternative, because we truly know of no
other alternative.""
Mortis pauses as the fans continue to listen, totally soaked up in his story,
as Mortis then speaks again, his voice, cool, calm, and collect, yet with an
unmistakable feeling of uneasiness in what he has to say next:
""November 29th, 2002. A day that will forever haunt the minds, hearts
and souls of Japanese fans promoters and fellow wrestlers. As I stated, Morticia
was two months too early from being back. Her legs were two months from being
as strong as they should have been. Two months too early, two months too weak,
two months, such that, on that night, she was handling her opponent pretty decently.
Hell, she was kicking her ass in truth. Then she decided to finish it all off
with a moonsault, so she climbed up that turnbuckle, slowly. You could see that
she was struggling a bit, not going as fast as she had in the past, but she
climbed all the way up. Then, she took one last look at her opponent, one last
look at her fans, and one last look at life, before she jumped off. When she
jumped off though, her legs, were too weak to give her the total force she needed
to do the flip, and to the horror of everyone, instead of crashing down on her
opponent, she came crashing down straight on top of her head, as the gasps of
the audience was only silenced by what had to been the most sickening snap heard
around the arena, and for any else who watched that match, around the world.
Morticia died on that night. She lived this business, she breathed this business,
and ultimately, she died for it.""
Mortis pauses as many of the fans have very sad, looks on their fans, tears
watering up. Mortis doesnt show that, but you can tell that probably
deep down, it hurts him ten times more, not just because it happened, but because
he had to relive it once more here tonight. A full minute passes by before the
fans finally begin to draw attention to Mortis again, who is now leaning against
the turnbuckle, and noticing the fans attention once more, speaks again:
""Yeah, it did REALLY suck. Running out there, seeing your closest
friend, the person you grew up with, the person who was there for you when everyone
else gave you the bird and said fuck you, the person who lived and breathed
this business, lying limp in your hands, their eyes never to open again, really
SUCKS.""
""But what would have also sucked, is if I stopped everything there,
that night. You see, whether by fate or chance, that night, Morticia summed
up basically our two lives as I just summed up her life to all of you. She looked
at me, minutes before her match, and said ""Mortis, you know something?
I just realized something. Me coming back here tonight, and you, doing everything
you have done for the past six months, it made me realize finally, who WE are.
No, I dont mean as Mortis Valley and Morticia, or former world and
womans champion, but rather who we, as people are, and how we, as
people live. And Mortis, if you didnt realize it already, I know
we LIVE for this business, we BREATHE this business, and Mortis, I am positive,
one day, we will DIE for this business as well"""".
Mortis pauses, then continues:
""Well, Morticia, I do realize it now, and I do agree with you, wherever
you are, we both live for this business, we both breathe for this business,
and one day, just as you did on that night, whether it be by some new stunt
Hangman pulls, whether it be by finally putting my body over the limit, or just
by fucking up one day with some stunt, some move or whatnot, I will die for
it too.""
Mortis pauses, holding his head down as he speaks, slowly, softly, his voice
rising as he continues:
""But that day was NOT that day, that day is NOT today, and while
that day isnt today, that means I havent died for it
yet, so I might as well LIVE for it! And I have, just as continue to do so.
Whether it be in the front office as I did for the AWF, or in the ring, as I
will do once again in the AWA, I will.""
""I will put everything I can, everything I have, my body, my money,
both which I have done so in the past, even if it has left my body broken, and
my wallet empty, the latter which has happened once already, then heal my body,
get some more money and do it again, until that time comes! Yes, I the Extreme
Machine, I am called The Rage as well as
The Dark Angel, I AM Mortis Valley, and I AM BACK!""
Mortis throws his mic down as the fans cheer VERY loudly for this, the loudest
they have cheered anyone tonight as Calling From Heaven
plays out, as Mortis then slides out of the ring, and slowly makes his way to
the back.
A few moments go by as we pan over the crowd to kind of get their reaction.
It is a mix between shock, awe, and joy to see another AWA legend return. We
cut back to the ring and we see the ring attendants preparing everything for
the upcoming AWA Tag Team title match. The cell is slowly coming down from the
ceiling while there are several tables, ladders and chairs brought down to ringside.
We see the AWA Tag Team title belts hanging from the cells roof.)
HS: Up next is the Ultimate Finale Match for the AWA Tag Team title.
FJ: This match is a combination of a TLC Match and a Hell In A Cell Match. As
soon as the cell has been lowered the ring attendants will put all the chairs,
tables and ladders into the cell. The goal is to somehow reach the belts to
be declared the winners.
HS: And let me add that there are no allies of either team allowed at ringside
for this one.
FJ: They couldnt interfere anyway.
(""We Ready"" by Archie begins to play and out come Big
Bad Blue and Tim ""The Giant"", NPD. They slowly make their
way into the cell and take a look around, getting familiar with the construction.)
FJ: NPD requested this match and see themselves as its masters. We will see
if that will be an advantage for them over the Tag Team Champions.
(""Dro In The Wind"" by Trick Daddy begins to play and out
come F-Bomb and Poppa, the AWA Tag Team Champions Notorious. F-Bomb is holding
two sheets of paper in his right hand.)
HS: What is that in his hand?
FJ: Wait, hes holding it into the camera.
HS: Hahaha, hilarious! It says ""English Test""!
FJ: So F-Bomb did as he said and brought an English test along for NPD. I dont
think theyll take that too friendly.
(Notorious enter the cell and the referee locks the door. The bell rings and
this match is officially underway. Notorious slide into the ring and the four
men oppose and stare at each other. F-Bomb throws the English test over to Big
Bad Blue and it drops to the mat. Blue picks it up, looks at and then suddenly
starts the match knocking F-Bomb down with a huge right fist, sending F-Bombs
cap out of the ring. Tim ""The Giant"" also spears Poppa
and begins to pummel him. Blue beats up F-Bomb and then puts the test into F-Bombs
mouth. He picks him up, whips him into a corner and clotheslines him before
throwing him out of the ring. Then he walks over to his partner and the two
pick up Poppa and send him down with a double-choke slam.)
FJ: The Champions are no small men, but the power advantage has to go to NPD,
who are even bigger overall than Notorious.
(Tim leaves the ring and goes after F-Bomb. He repeatedly smashes his back and
face into the cage. In the ring Blue has picked up Poppa again and nails him
with a death valley driver. He then picks him up and throws him out of the ring
as well, right next to where Tim and F-Bomb are. Blue picks Poppa up onto his
shoulder and then rams his face into the steel mesh of the cage again and again,
until we see blood pouring down Poppas face. In the meantime Tim
is stomping and punching F-Bomb. Blue walks over to them and hands Tim a chair.
Tim puts the chair onto the cage wall. Blue pulls Poppa up and places him with
the side of his head against the chair, leaning him against the cage wall. He
takes a second chair, takes a wild swing and they hit a nasty conchairto!)
HS: Damn, did you hear that sound?
FJ: The Champions have not been able to get in any offense so far and this nasty
conchairto may already mean the end of their title reign. Both men are down
on the ground and bloodied.
(Tim takes a chair and puts its lower side into the mesh so that the chair is
now hanging in the air like a railway gate. Tim then takes Poppa and Blue takes
F-Bomb and they simultaneously smash the Champions heads against
each side of the chair! Both men go down onto the mat while the challengers
each get a ladder. They put up two chairs next to each other and then place
the ladders onto the chairs on one side and onto the apron on the other. All
four men get back into the ring and Tim hits Poppa with the Toke Slam. Then
NPD whip F-Bomb into the ropes and then pick him up in a huge double-backdrop,
sending him out of the ring and onto the ladder construction!)
HS: They broke his back!
(Tim leaves the ring and starts beating F-Bomb up. Blue gets a ladder into the
ring, puts it up and starts climbing it. He almost reaches the belts, but suddenly
we hear the sound of steel smashing human flesh and see Poppa, who has gotten
up and hit Blue with a chair. Blue has to stop his ascend and Poppa uses the
opportunity to push the ladder Blue is standing on. Blue and the ladder fall
over. Blue falls all the way out of the ring and lands on the mats with a nasty
thud. Poppa then leaves the ring and comes to his partners aid.
He hits Tim from behind with a chair and then Notorious just gang up to him
and stomp on him before rolling him back into the ring. Poppa lifts Tim up and
then hits his finisher, The Big Up.)
FJ: Big Bad Blue is down and out and now the Tag Team Champions can beat up
Tim ""The Giant"" as they see fit.
HS: Poppa has already hit his finisher and now F-Bomb seems to prepare himself
for the Spy Kick!
(Poppa is pulling Tim back up to his feet and holds him for F-Bomb. F-Bomb takes
a few steps back and indeed hits the Spy Kick. Poppa leaves the ring and slides
a few tables into the ring while F-Bomb just pummels Tim. Poppa puts up one
of the tables and then puts up one of the ladders in the corner. Notorious then
put Tim onto the table and Poppa holds him down while F-Bomb climbs the ladder.
He climbs all the way to the top and then hits his Soaring Eagle legdrop, putting
Tim through the table to the crowds ""Holy Shit!""
chant.)
HS: What a maneuver! He put him right through the table.
FJ: But Big Bad Blue has re-entered the ring and just hit Notorious with a double-clothesline.
(Tim is down on the mat, but his partner has regained the advantage for his
team. He hits both members of Notorious with a series of clotheslines. Then
Blue takes the ladder and leans it onto the top rope. He picks up Poppa and
hits the Blue Finale onto the ladder! Poppa screams in pain and holds his back.
Blue then puts up another table and then walks over to F-Bomb. He picks him
up, places him onto the top turnbuckle and follows him. He lifts him up and
hits the Blue Equalizer through the table! Another ""Holy Shit!""
chant breaks out as a fired-up Big Bad Blue plays briefly with the crowd.)
FJ: What an amazing maneuver from this huge man!
(Blue walks over to Tim ""The Giant"" and wants to revive
his partner, but Tim points to the ladder and motions for Blue to take the belts.
Blue puts the ladder under the belts and starts climbing it, but Notorious have
managed to get up and both members start hitting Blue with chairs shots! They
both take turns nailing Blues back with the chairs until Blue drops
down to the mat. Poppa then starts choking Tim ""The Giant""
while F-Bomb starts climbing the ladder. He gets up there slowly but steady.
He gets close to the top, reaches out and
THE LIGHTS GO OUT!)
HS: No! No! Put the lights back on!
FJ: Get a hold of yourself, Herb! Look at this!
HS: What? What? WHAT?
FJ: Look at the AWAtron!
(Transmission starts on the AWAtron. We see a close-up of the face of Ms.Rawness.
She steps aside and we suddenly see a kidnapped Tiffany, F-Bombs
girlfriend, tied to a chair. Ms.Rawness starts slapping Tiffany who has nowhere
to go. Then Ms.Rawness starts kicking at Tiffany and then finally pushes Tiffany
and her chair to the ground. Transmission stops and the lights go back on. F-Bomb
has since stopped his climb up the ladder and kicks against the cell door. Poppa
has also stopped choking Tim and joins his partner in trying to open the door,
but the referee tells them that he will only open the door once the match is
over. Suddenly, though, Blue comes from behind and smashes both mens
heads against the door. He then smashes F-Bomb with his back against the door.
Afterwards he grabs Poppa by the hair and shorts and throws him full force against
F-Bomb, who is still leaning against the door. He does the same thing again
and a third time
and a fifth time and suddenly the door breaks out
of the cell and Notorious fall out of the cell!)
HS: Wow! Blue has just granted F-Bomb his wish and opened the door for him!
FJ: The door has just been broken out of the cell! It couldnt hold
the weight of both Notorious members and the power of Big Bad Blue!
(In the ring Tim has pulled himself up with help from the ladder and slowly
starts to climb it. F-Bomb got back up by now and is running backstage while
Blue continues to beat Poppa up outside of the cage. Tim climbs to the top of
the ladder reaches out and retrieves the belts from the ceiling.)
HS: Its over!
FJ: After a hard-fought match NPD won their match, the Ultimate Finale, to win
the AWA Tag Team title. And there was some stuff in this match I have never
seen
HS: I just wonder what is up with Tiffany
"Whisper" by Evanescence hits the speakers and is met by heels ovation.
Whisper walks out of the back wearing a white trenchcoat in addition to his
usual white leather pants. He's mostly ignoring the packed Kentucky arena around
him. He moves slowly to the ring, seemingly trying to waste valuble satellite
time. He slides into the ring and front rolls to his feet. With a short smile
to the camera, Whisper pulls a microphone from his trench as the music fades.
When the growd settles, he speaks in his usual calm candor.
Whisper: Most of you are probably wondering exactly what my business is out
here at Revelations. Allow me to educate you, since it's more than obvious that
you need it.
The crowd boos at his obvious insult. Whisper's smile widens.
Whisper: I'm actually here for two of my own Revelations. A revelation, for
the uninitiated, is when something is revealed, normally in a dramatic fashion.
Tonight, right here in this junkpile otherwise known as Kentucky...
The crowd boos louder.
Whisper: ...who's idea was it to make a Pay Per View in Kentucky? What's even
in Kentucky?
Whisper laughs, the crowd continues the boos.
Whisper: It's funny because it's true, but back on topic, tonight, the AWA
will reveal it's new World Champion. It's been building... and building... and
after a look at the final two, especially your idol L.J. Vacamas... it looks
like the only real losers will be everyone who purchased this Pay Per View and

Continued boos.
Whisper: You jeer me away now, but you know I'm every bit of correct... as
for my second revelation... I will reveal how wrong someone was about me. Tonight,
I will prove just how loud a Whisper can be.
Herb Summers: And our next match is a 4-way match for the AWA Cruiserweight
Championship!!
Frank Jackson: Oh great.
Herb Summers: Come on Frank, give these high-flyers some credit.
Frank Jackson: Riiiiight.
Herb Summers: Anyways, lets get this thing started. Rawstarrs
making his way down to the ring right now.
(""When Thugs Cry,"" by Bizzy Bone blares and Rawstarr
begins to make his way onto the stage and down the rampway to the ring with
Ms. Rawness by his side. Rawstarr smiles as the croud cheers him on into the
ring. He gets into the ring and leaves Ms. Rawness on the outside, when ""I
Came From The Water,"" by The Toadies interrupts Bizzy Bone and hits.)
Frank Jackson: I smell fish!
Herb Summers: And here comes The Fish!!
(The Fish, wearing a black mask with a blue fin on top and teeth and a blue
singlet, slightly jogs down to the ring as the fans begin to cheer heavily for
The Fish.)
Herb Summers: Everyone loves The Fish!
Frank Jackson: I love fish!
(The Fish hops into the ring and makes his way to the corner. He jumps up on
the turnbuckle and holds up his arms to the crowd, taking in the fans
adoration. ""Whats This Life For?"" by Creed
blares and plays for a while. The crowd erupts when Misery steps out onto the
stage and stands there for a little while. He is wearing a black T-shirt, black
tights, and black boots. He looks directly into the ring containing Rawstarr
and The Fish and makes his way down to the ring. Rawstarr rolls underneath the
bottom rope and charges at Misery. Misery sees him charging and side-steps the
NPD member. Misery begins to punch away at Rawstarr as ""Whats
This Life For?"" stops playing.)
Herb Summers: Rawstarr and Misery are not going to wait for the arrival of
the champion. They have gotten this match started already. Here comes The Fish!
(The Fish springs over the top rope and to the outside. He joins Misery in
punching Rawstarr. Both men grab him and deliver a double suplex to him. The
Fish turns to Misery and extends his hand after the double suplex. Misery grabs
his hand.)
Frank Jackson: What?! What is this?
(Misery pulls The Fish into him and delivers a snap clothesline. The Fish doubles
over in pain on the arena floor as Rawstarr gets up and tackles Misery.)
Frank Jackson: Now were talking!
(""B.O.B."" by OutKast blares and the crowd erupts once
again as the AWA Cruiserweight Champion Javex Valerius runs down the rampway
and into the action. He clotheslines Rawstarr from behind, picks him up, and
tosses him into the ring. He drops his title belt on the arena floor and slides
underneath the bottom rope into the ring. The referee goes to the outside and
retrieves the Cruiserweight Title. Inside the ring, Javex tries to pick Rawstarr
up, but is met with a low blow. The fans boo heavily. On the outside of the
ring, Misery and The Fish are arguing at each other, and then Misery shoves
The Fish into the ring and tackles him into the ring. The referee motions for
the bell to ring.)
Herb Summers: An official start to the match FINALLY!
(Misery picks The Fish up and slams him on the arena floor, while Rawstarr
and Javex lock up in the middle of the ring. Javex throws Rawstarr into the
ropes and as he comes back, nails him with a dropkick. Rawstarr falls to the
mat hard. Meanwhile, outside of the ring, Misery is chasing The Fish around
the perimeter of the ring. Javex looks to outside and sees The Fish backtracking.
He quickly springs to the top of a turnbuckle and delivers a missle dropkick
to the back of The Fishs head. Misery looks on as both men lay on
the arena floor. He slides underneath the bottom rope into the ring as Rawstarr
pleads with the referee to count The Fish and Javex out. Misery intervenes and
attempts a suplex on Rawstarr, but Rawstarr flips out of the suplex in mid-air
and delivers a belly-to-back suplex. The referee begins to count out The Fish
and Javex. Javex gets up positions himself on top of The Fish and begins to
punch at his head.)
Frank Jackson: The Fish and Valerius need to get back into the ring. The referee
has gotten to the count of eight.
(Rawstarr picks up Misery and tries to throw him into the ropes, but throws
him into the referee instead, knocking the referee out as he makes the count
of nine on The Fish and Javex. Javex gets up and leaves the downed Fish. He
slides into the ring only to be met by a dropkick by Rawstarr. Rawstarr delivers
another dropkick to Misery, and then attempts a third dropkick on Javex, but
he pushes the attack off to the side. Rawstarr lands hard on his stomach and
face. Misery walks over and hooks the fallen Rawstarr into a standing half Boston
Crab and dragon sleeper combination.)
Herb Summers: The Pointless Struggle!
Frank Jackson: Damn!! Rawstarrs finished!
(Misery tightens the hold as Javex begins to stomp away at Rawstarr as he fights
the finishing move by Misery. The Fish slides in underneath the bottom rope
as the referee gets up. The Fish grabs Javex from behind and rolls him into
a pin. The referee quickly makes the count. 1! . . . 2! . . . )
Herb Summers: No! The Fish almost took the Champion out of this match.
(The referee slides over to Rawstarr as he taps out on the mat after being
in the pointless struggle for so long. Misery lets him go as Rawstarr lays on
the mat in pain. Javex and The Fish tie up. The Fish bodyslams him down and
quickly gives him a leg drop. He begins to stomp away at the fallen Cruiserweight
Champion. Misery grabs him from behind and delivers a piledriver. Misery throws
The Fish into the turnbuckle and helps Javex up off of the mat. He tells him
something and then gets on the top turnbuckle with The Fish. Both men are standing
on the top rope as Javex springs onto the opposite top rope. Misery nods at
him and then delivers a top rope Death Valley Driver to The Fish. Javex leaps
off of the turnbuckle hes on and delivers a flying Guillotine kick
to Misery as he begins to get up.)
Frank Jackson: Betrayal?
Herb Summers: Alls fair.
(Javex hooks The Fishs leg and pins him.)
Herb Summers: 1! . . . 2! . . . No, a kick-out by The Fish! How did he kick
out of that?
(Misery remains on the mat after the flying kick from Javex. Javex picks The
Fish up and gives him a Savate Kick. He quickly covers The Fish. 1! . . . .
. 2! . . . . . . 3!)
Frank Jackson: He couldnt kick out of that one.
Herb Summers: And The Fish is out of the match as well, and Javex is on fire.
(Javex picks Misery up and delivers an overhead neckbreaker to him. He quickly
covers Misery. 1! . . . . 2! . . . . Misery lifts his shoulder at the last moment,
and Javex picks him up. Javex tries to throw him into the ropes, but Misery
reverses it and delivers a German suplex into the corner. Misery stalks Javex
as he lays in a heap of pain in the corner. He goes to pick him up, but Javez
spits a poison mist into the face of Misery. Even though hes wearing
a mask, Misery grabs at his eyes and Javex gets up. He sets up in front of him
and attempts the Savate Kick on him. Incredibly, Misery ducks the kick and grabs
Javex into a sitout Tombstone.)
Herb Summers: What a move by Misery! Hes going for the pin!
Frank Jackson: 1! . . . 2! . . . . No!! He kicked out! He kicked out!
(Misery flips Javex over and places him in the Pointless Stuggle. Javex fights
as much as he can and tries to inch to the ropes, but his attempts are a waste
as Misery continues to just tighten the hold.)
Herb Summers: Javex wont give up.
(The referee gets into position for a tap-out, but Javex wont tap
out. Misery screams out in aggravation and pulls on the submission move even
more. Javex shakes his head violently and finally taps out. The referee sounds
for the bell.)
Frank Jackson: Misery did it!
Ring Announcer: The winner of the match and NEW AWA Cruiserweight Champion,
Misery!!!!!!
(""Whats This Life For?"" by Creed blares as
the referee hands the AWA Cruiserweight Title to Misery.)
Herb Summers: What a match!
Javex Valerius stands in the ring. The crowd starts to react as behind Valerius,
Whisper slides into the ring, dropping a microphone, and sends his forearm between
the legs of Javex. The low blow sends Javex, in pain, to his knees. Whisper
grabs Javex and lifts him into the corner. Whisper climbs up, underhooking both
of Javex's arms, and Eavesdrops Javex down onto the mat. Whisper whips his hair
back and glares down at Javex. He picks up the microphone and laughs a bit.
Whisper: Not so quiet after all, Dragon.
Whisper stands, dropping the mic onto Valerius, as he exits, leaving him face
down on the mat.
FRANK: Why that... He just... Javex...
HERB: Yup, her sure did. What great action we've had tonight. And this next
match may be by far the most explosive match tonight.
FRANK: And this next match will be dominated by Adam Bawm, one of President
Gray's personal body guards.
Herb: Remember if Adam Bawm doesn't win, he may have to seek help from Dave
"The Rave" Santini.
Frank: You say that like it's a bad thing. I mean, look at his other pupil,
LJ Vacamas is taking on Dark Warrior in what will be a hellacious Main Event.
Herb: Fans, to get back on track, I feel that this match is very close, and
either Drake Hyde or Kings Chozen will win the match. Anyway, let's go to the
ring.
Ring Announcer: Introducing first from Charlotte, North Carolina. He stands
six feet ten inches tall, and weighs in at three hundred and thirty-five pounds.
He represents the Enforcers. He is, Adddddaaaaaammmmmmm Baaaaawwwwwwmmmm.
(Time Bomb by Godsmack blares over the P.A. and the crowd begins to echo boos
as Adam Bawm walks out to the ring. Adam Bawm has a quick pace to the ring,
as he is eager to begin the match. He looks very focused as he walks hurries
down to the ring. He rolls into the ring and goes to his neutral corner.)
Ring Announcer: Introducing next, from Atlanta, Georgia. He stands six feet
four inches tall and weighs in at two hundred and thirty-five pounds. He is,
Riiiiiivvvvvvaaaaallllllll.
(Rival by Pearl Jam blares over the P.A. to a mixed reaction. The fans don't
know what to make of the young man who just seems to be having a career filled
with opportunities. Rival has a mid stride walk towards the ring. He reaches
the ring finally, after slapping a few fans hands. He walks up the stares, while
glaring at Adam Bawm. He chooses the corner right beside of Adam Bawm, not taking
his eye off of him for a second.)
Ring Announcer: Now introducing a man who has just made his return. He is from
New York City, New York. He stands six feet two inches tall, and weighs in for
tonight's match at two hundred and fifty pounds. He is, Kinnnggggggsssssss Ccchhhhhoooooozzzzzzzzeeeeeeennnn.
(X-ecutioner Style by Linkin Park hits the P.A. and King Chozen is being cheered
by the fans. He walks out with an intense look on his face. He seems to be very
focused on the task at hand. He walks slowly to the ring, showing that he is
a veteran wrestler. He walks up the ring stairs, but goes towards his corner.
He doesn't step, not trusting the two opponents already in the ring.)
Ring Announcer: Finally introducing your current Television Champion. His hometown
is Seattle Washington. He stands at six feet two inches tall, and weighs two
hundred and fifty-five pounds. He is, Dddddddddrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkeeeeeeeeee
Hhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyydddddddeeeeeeeeee!
(T.N.T. by AC/DChits the P.A. and the crowd goes wild as Drake Hyde walks through
the curtains. He looks to be very energetic as he approaches the ring. He is
slapping the hands of the fans on both sides of the ring. He nearly rolls in
the ring, but remembers about his two opponents. He instead grabs the middle
rope and pulls himself to the apron. While on the apron, we see him take off
his Television Title. He steps into the ring, and King Chozen steps in the ring
to the corner to his right. Drake Hyde hands the Television Title to the referee
who walks around and shows the competitors what they're fighting for. He then
hands the Television Title to the ring announcer and rings the bell for the
match to begin.)
Frank: And the match is underway. These four men don't look to be trusting
one another at all. This is great. We're going to see some mayhem in this match.
Herb: Is that all you care about? I think this will be a highly scientific
wrestling match.
(While the two announcers are arguing, we see Rival hit an ax bomber on King
Chozen. While Adam Bawm clotheslines Drake Hyde in the corner. Adam Bawm goes
to punch Drake Hyde, who blocks the punch and begins landing punches of his
own. We see Rival heading for Drake Hyde while King Chozen is up to his feet.
King Chozen spins him around and connects with a right cross to the face. Rival
who is stunned falls towards the center of the ring. Rival quickly crawling
towards the ropes uses them to pull himself up. Meanwhile, King Chozen hits
a running clothesline, knocking Rival out of the ring. Meanwhile we see Drake
Hyde and Adam Bawm continuing to trade punches. Adam Bawm goes for a strong
right cross, but it is ducked under by Drake Hyde. Drake then proceeds to clothesline
him over the top. He back towards the center of the ring where King Chozen is
waiting. Drake Hyde turns around just to be kicked in the midsection by King
Chozen and hit with a Dangerous DDT.)
Herb: First King Chozen and Drake Hyde clear the ring, then they attack each
other.
Frank: This is great. I hope those two kill each other.
(Rival has finally gotten to his feet. He rolls in the ring and is met by the
stomping of King Chozen. Drake Hyde begins to stir. Not from the impact of the
move, but from the Shock factor of the move. Meanwhile Adam Bawm has made it
to his feet and entered the ring. He runs quickly at King Chozen, and connects
with a clothesline to the back of Chozen's head. King Chozen's neck lies on
the second rope. Adam Bawm goes to hit the ropes on the opposite side of the
ring, and then jumps in the air and lands on the back of King Chozen causing
a violent position for the neck to land on the rope. Rival is now up and begins
stomping on King Chozen. Drake Hyde is now standing and heads straight for Adam
Bawm, who is just about to turn around.)
Frank: Rival is looking for some redemption for those boots that King Chozen
used earlier in the match.
Herb: Well, it looks like Drake Hyde is up, and looks to be taking control
of the match.
(Adam Bawm has turned around and is superkicked by Drake Hyde. Drake Hyde picks
Adam Bawm up to where he is on his knees. He hooks his arms as if he's going
for a butterfly suplex, and then jumps up and hit s a Pedigree. Meanwhile on
the other side of the ring, Rival has picked up King Chozen backwards. Rival
wraps his arm around King Chozen's neck and drops down into a reverse DDT. Drake
Hyde uses this opportune time, as Rival stands up, to lock in a full nelson.
Drake Hyde then lifts Rival up in the air and drops him into a Full Nelson Bomb.
By this time, Adam Bawm has staggered to his feet, along with King Chozen. Chozen
heads straight for Adam Bawm with a Chozen spear, but Adam Bawm side steps the
Chozen Spear, causing King Chozen to go violently through the middle rope. We
hear a thud as Chozen hits the ground. Chozen quickly grabs his shoulder. While
this was happening, Drake Hyde has turned to face Adam Bawm. He starts walking
towards Adam Bawm, but from behind Rival Low blows Drake Hyde. who falls to
his knees. Adam Bawm then pulls him up in a Powerbomb position. He holds Drake
Hyde there for a minute so Rival can roll out of the way. Adam Bawm then quickly
throws Drake Hyde to the mat.)
Frank: It looks like Adam Bawm won't be taught by Drake Hyde after all.
Herb: I don't know. You must remember that this isn't tag team action, and
Rival will have to get some momentum built up if he expects to win. On a minor
note, I hope King Chozen isn't hurt.
(Just as Adam Bawm begins to pull Drake up to his feet, Drake quickly shotts
his arm between Adams legs as if going for a low blow, but instead of
a low blow, Drake hooks Adams leg and pulls Adam into him. As Adam is
pulled in, Drake reaches up and grabs Adam around the neck. In an amazing show
of strength, Drake lifts Adams up off of his feet over his shoulders. Drake
looks like hes about to go for a Death Valley Driver on Adam Bawm, when
Rival suddenly hits a spinning leg sweep to take Drakes legs out from
under him. Drake misses the DVD, but lands more in a Samoan drop instead. Rival
pulls Draje Hyde up off of Adam Bawm and goes for a suplex, but Drake hooks
his leg around Rivals leg to stop it. Rival goes for another suplex, but
again Drake hooks the leg. Drake then reverses it by lifting Rival up instead
and falls forward to drop Rival in a pancake. King Chozen grabbed the rope to
pull himself up. Drake Hyde has also made it to his feet. Rival stands up to
be met by Drake Hyde who uses the high impact move, the Dominator on Rival.
King Chozen uses this opportunity to use rolling thunder on Rival.)
Herb: We have saw teamwork through the match, and it looks like Drake Hyde
and King Chozen may have buried any hatchet they had.
Frank: You have to watch Drake Hyde, he'll try and double cross you at any
moment. Just look at how he double crossed Dark Warrior.
HERB: How was that a double cross?
FRANK: He counted the three count when it was obvious that Dark Warrior should
have won that match.
HERB: He made the three count because he was the ref Frank, stop talking jibberish.
Back in the ring, Adam Bawm is getting back to his feet. Drake Hyde and King
Chozen have just sent Rival crashing down into the mat with a double powerbomb.
Drake being the one holding Rival up, and Chozen being the one who helps send
Rival crashing down to the mat. Just as they finish the double team move, Chozen
is taken off of his feet with a wicked clothesline from hell thanks to one Adam
Bawm. Adam puts so much force into the move that he too goes down as Chozen
is folded in half upon hitting the mat. Drake takes advantage of the rising
Adam Bawm and catches him before he can raise to his full six feet ten inches
and nails Adam Bawm with a superkick to take him from the one knee that he was
on and down to the mat. With Adam down, Drake goes on the attack like a Lion
holding an antelope in its jaw waiting for it to die. Drake jumps on Adam
Bawm and locks him into a Dragon Sleeper, falling back to the mat, Drake locks
his legs around Adams mid section.
HERB: And now we see Drake resorting to a submission based wrestling style.
FRANK: He cant choke out Adam Bawm, Bawm is too big.
HERB: He doesnt look so big now Frank. I dont care who you are,
you get your arms locked around someones throat and all that size goes
right out the window. Especially if you have them off of their feet like Drake
does here.
Adam is struggling in the submission hold at the moment. But at the same time,
Rival and King Chozen are getting to their feet. Rival begins racing over to
attack Drake Hyde to make him break the hold on Adam Bawm, but just as hes
about to we see King Chozen flying over Drake and Adam Bawm to take Rival off
of his feet with a Chozen Spear. Both Chozen and Rival go down in a massive
wreck of bodies. Meanwhile, the ref is checking on Adam, seeing if he wants
to give up. Adam is saying no, but hes fading fast. Still struggling,
Adam begins to rock back and forth, trying to break free, in doing so, he gets
himself rolled over on top of Drake so that his weight is now on Drake, but
at the same point, this causes Drake to be able to pull back further on his
neck. Although, Drakes shoulders are now down on the mat. The ref sees
this and slides over to begin making the count.
1...
2.....
Just as the ref is about to count three, Drake releases the hold and lifts
his left shoulder to break the count. Adam is out of it by this point and just
laying on Drake. Drake manages to push Adam off of himself and climb out from
under him. Drake looks around the ring to see Adam out of it, King Chozen and
Rival both still in a heap of flesh from the Chozen Spear. Drake walks over
and pulls Chozen off of Rival. Drake signals to the crowd by pointing up as
he pulls Rival up to his feet. The crowd cheers as Drake Hyde whips Rival itnto
the turnbuckle with an irish whip. Rival lands in the corner and begins to stagger
out when Drake grabs him around his waist and hoists him up onto the top turnbuckle.
Chozen now begins to stir as does Bawm. Drake begins to climb to the top turnbuckle
with Rival as Bawm begins to make his way over to where Drake and Rival are.
Chozen stops him short by stepping in his path. Words are exchanged, and then
blows. Right for right, left for left both men battle back and forth punch for
punch. Meanwhile, Drake is reaching his arm over Rivals neck as he is about
to go for In Memmory Of "D" when all of a sudden "Whats
This Life For?" begins to play. Drake stops short of hitting the brain
buster off of the top rope and looks up at the entrance ramp as Misery walks
out onto the stage. This is just the amount of time Rival needs to break free
as he pushes Drake Hyde off of the top rope. Drake falls to the mat and Rival
climbs up all the way onto the top turnbuckle. Rival goes for a shooting star
press, but Drake manages to get his knees up and Rival lands stomach first on
Drakes knees.
FRANK: Rival laying it all out on the table with that move.
HERB: Too bad it didnt pay off.
Adam has gotten the better of Chozen now as he blocks one punch and lifts Chozen
high into the air with a double handed choke lift and brings him crashing down
with a double handed choke slam. Misery now slowly stalks his way down to the
ring. Meanwhile, back inside the ring, Drake is slowly making it to his feet
after being pushed off of the top rope and taking the impact of Rival on his
knees. Adam Bawm sees him getting up and is on the spot in no time flat. Just
as Drake is getting to his feet, he receives a boot to the gut compliments of
one Adam Bawm. Adam then quickly plants Dake Hyde into the mat with a ddt. Misery
is now down to the ring and walking around the ring. Chozen is back up now,
and Rival is making it to his feet. Instead of them getting involved with Drake
or Adam, they go after each other this time. Both men seem to have the same
thing in mind. While Chozen seems to be thinking that his spear worked so well
last time, hell go for another, Rival seems to be thinking that he is
going to nail Chozen with a spear of his own for a little payback. Both men
take off running at each other, and yes, both men go for a spear of their own.
The crowd gasps as they witness two men run shoulder first into each other as
fast and hard as they can, meeting shoulder to shoulder. Both men drop to the
mat grabbing at their shoulder in extreme pain. Meanwhile, Adam Bawm is now
showing off his submission wrestling skills as he locks Drake Hyde into a half
boston crab. The ref is checking on Drake to see if he wants to give up.
HERB: Ya know... This looks more like a tag team match than a fatal fourway.
FRANK: Yeah, like you said before there is a lot of team work going on. I wonder
if any of these men really know whats at stake in this match. This isnt
a tag team match, there shouldnt be any friends in this match at all.
HERB: Yeah yeah.... Im sure Drake has it all under control. Well except
for Misery being out here. What is he doing out here anyways?
FRANK: Maybe he wants to see if Drake really has it all under control
or not. Since he pretty much stole the belt from Misery.
HERB: Stole? How did he steal the belt, he wasnt even given a choice
in whether or not to pin Misery.
FRANK: Oh, so now I suppose you are going to say its Adam Bawms
fault huh?
HERB: Well.... YEAH!!!
FRANK: At any rate, one thing that does look like its going to be Adam
Bawms fault is Drake being unable to walk for a few weeks. Look at him
stretch Hyde like a piece of rubber.
And that is whats happening. Adam still has Drake in that half boston
crab. The ref is still asking Drake if he wants to give up, and we can hear
Drake telling him hell no. Adam leans back more into the hold, Drake seeing
that he isnt close to any ropes decides to go for an extreme attempt at
escape. Drake uses his hands to lift his body off of the mat, in doing so, he
raises Adam Bawm up as well, but bends his back putting more pressure on it.
Drakes face tells the tale of agony as he looks out into the crowd. With
Adam Bawm up high enough off of the mat, Drake rolls under himself and flips
Adam Bawm who was already leaning back, down to the mat on his back. Adam is
still holding Drakes leg, but Drake soon fixes that as he raises himself
up to a vertical base and plants a knee right into the ribs of Adam Bawm. Bawm
lets go of Drakes leg and its Drake now taking control back over
again. Chozen and Rival are still down after spearing each other. Drake pulls
Adam Bawm up quickly, still favoring his left leg. With Bawm being pulled to
his feet, Drake delivers a few knees to the head of Bawm to keep him a little
dazed. Drake continues with the small offense by nailing a couple of forearm
shivers to the ribs of Bawm as Drake moves around behind him. Once behind Bawm,
Drake takes Adam off of his feet with a chicken wing suplex. Drake ahs to somewhat
spin throughout the move, putting most of the weight of the move onto his right
leg. Both Adam and Drake go crashing down to the mat. Misery is now at the time
keepers table and picks up the AWA Television Title. Drake is crawling over
to the ropes and pulls himself up to the second rope. Looking out of the ring,
Drake sees Misery standing there holding the belt up. Misery nods to Drake,
and then drops the belt on the floor before leaving back up the ramp to the
stage where he stands to watch. Drake has collapsed on the second rope after
seeing Misery drop the belt and walk up the rampway. Chozen and Rival are slowly
beginning to stir now, as is Adam Bawm. Drake turns over so that he is looking
inside the ring, and leans back into the ropes as if to rest. Chozen is the
first to his feet. He is about to pull Rival up, but decides against it when
he sees Adam Bawm is up to his feet now. Chozen now stalking behind Adam Bawm
as Bawm moves ever closer to Drake Hyde. Just as Bawm is about to pull Drake
Hyde up, Chozen grabs him from behind and lifts him up for a back body drop.
Adam hits the mat and Chozen begins to raise up to his feet. Rival is already
up to his feet, but laying in wait. Chozen gets up, not seeing Rival behind
him and begins to walk over towards Drake Hyde. Just as Chozen is about to reach
Hyde, Rival nails Chozen with a dropkick to the back of the head that sends
Chozen staggering forward and falling over the top rope. Chozen lands on the
floor a full flip and lands face first on the hard unforgiving mat outside.
Drake, being pretty well rested now raises to his feet just as Rival is getting
back up to his as well. Bawm is already up to his feet and on his way over to
the action. Drake is just about to grab Rival when Bawm spins him around and
delivers a right hand to the face of Drake. Drake comes back with a right of
his own, but then is met with a right from Rival. Its a two on one brawl
now as Drake trades blows with both Rival and Bawm. After five exchanges, Drake
has held his own long enough. Bawm and Rival dont want to continue on
in this exchange and instead of trading blows again, both men grab an arm of
Drake and send him to the ropes with a double irish whip. On the rebound, they
both grab a leg of Drake and lift him up for a double spine buster that shakes
the ring.
FRANK: Oh, thatll straighten your spinal column.
HERB: OUCH!!! Drakes really going to need a chiropractor after that.
Rival and Bawm look at each other with a satisfied look on their face as they
then pull Drake back up to his feet. Drake is worn as he wobbles on his feet.
Again, they send Drake to the ropes with another double irish whip. They are
about to go for a double back body flip as they both bend over leaving themselves
exposed. Drake doesnt go for the ride, but instead runs in, grabbing them
both by the head and hits a two way ddt on both Bawm and Rival. Drake gets a
second wind as he jumps up to his feet and the crowd goes crazy with cheers.
Right off the bat, Drake pulls Bawm up to his feet and sends him flying into
the turnbuckle with an irish whip of his own. Bawm hits the turnbuckle hard
and Drake comes charging in. With the momentum firmly in Drakes grasp
now, he begins to unload on Bawm. Right and lefts rain down on Bawm as if he
were in a pouring fist storm. Drake doesnt let up for a second, just keeps
working Bawm over. Suddenly, Drake steps to the side as Rival comes flying in
with a spear. Missing his mark, Rival nails Bawm with a spear on accident and
Bawm is folded in half in the corner. Drake steps behind Rival and lays in wait.
As Rival walks backwards out of the corner Drake grabs him up in a full nelson.
HERB: Here comes a Full Nelson bomb from Drake, huh?
It looks like Drake is about to go for a Full Nelson bomb as he lifts Rival
up. But instead of dropping him straight down, Drake swings Rival around and
plants him face first into the mat with a modified side walk slam.
HERB: Oh wow, thats gotta hurt.
FRANK: Where the hell did that come from?
HERB: Thats Drake Hyde for you, always the innovator of new moves.
FRANK: Yeah, so whats that one supposed to be called?
HERB: Um... I think hes calling that the Hyde-Walk Slam. But I think
Rival would call it painful.
Drake rises back up to his feet now and pulls Adam Bawm out of the corner.
Drake quickly grabs Bawm around the neck and throws Bawms arm over his
own neck as if in a suplex position. Drake pulls up lifting Bawm into the air
and Hyde then brings Bawm crashing down with a Hyde Life. Drake quickly make
the cover and the ref makes the count 1... 2.... 3.....
HERB: What a convincing win by Drake Hyde.
FRANK: OH please, only because King Chozen was helping him.
HERB: Yeah, as much as Rival was helping Bawm.
FRANK: Oh, that was completely different.
HERB: Yeah about as different as off white and bone white.
FRANK: Huh?
Drake is now out of the ring picking up the AWA United States Championship
belt. Chozen is getting up to his feet as well as Drake Hyde places the belt
over his shoulder. Misery now vanishes back through the entrance into the backstage
area. Drake and Chozen are now walking together back up the rampway towards
the backstage area. All of a sudden, KO Kid and Javex Valerius come running
down the ring with chairs in hand. Drake and Chozen ready themselves for the
attack. KO Kid swings at Drake Hyde, but Drake ducks the shot and side steps
KO Kid. As KO Kid turns around, Drake nails him with the AWA Television Championship
belt right to the head. KO Kid is staggered and Drake nails him with another
shot to the head with the belt. Javex on the other hand was able to nail Chozen
right on the button. Chozen goes down hard. Javex and Drake turn towards each
other when suddenly, Low comes running out from the back with a chair in his
hand. Javex looks towards Low, and that is all the distraction Drake needs to
level Javex with a shot to the head with the AWA Television Championship belt.
After Javex goes down, Drake looks up the ramp to see Low, but Low doesnt
stop on his way down to the ring and its only obvious to Drake why when
Low brings the chair crashing down on Rivals head who is right behind
Drake about to hit him with a chair. Drake and Low look at each other and its
obvious that if only for this one moment, they are on the same page. KO Kid
is about to get to his feet again, and Low cracks him over the head with his
chair. Drake Hyde helps Chozen get back up to his feet and Adam Bawm is now
charging at Drake Hyde. Drake quickly throws the AWA Television Championship
belt at Adam Bawm. Bawm grabs the belt, only to be leveled as Chozen delivers
a Van Daminator by kicking the AWA Television Championship belt instead of a
chair. Adam Bawm goes down. Javex is starting to get back up, but Drake grabs
him around the waist before he can get back up and sends him crashing back down
with a dominator. Suddenly, the AWA security team comes charging out to the
ring and overtake Drake, Low, and Chozen. Once the three are overtaken by security,
Adam Bawm, Javex, KO Kid, and Rival capitalize and again go on the attack. With
two security guards holding each man, Drake, Low, and Chozen. Adam Bawm, Rival,
Javex, and KO Kid each grab a chair.
ADAM BAWM: You think this is over?! This is far from over!! And you want to
get involved Low, Well involve you alright!!
With that said, Adam Bawm is the first to begin swinging. Adam nails Drake
in the head and splits him open, he then nails Low, then Chozen. Javex follows
up, nailing each one as well, then KO Kid.
ADAM BAWM: Oh yeah, say hello to the newest Enforcer!!
Then Rival takes his turn nailing each man with a chair. The security team
then drop all three men to the floor of the ramp as the Enforcers and the AWA
Security team make their way back into the backstage area. Drake and Low raise
up on their hands and look up the rampway towards the exist with sinister smiles
on their faces.
HERB: Oh man, what an attack.
FRANK: Hey, they had it coming. What was Low doing sticking his nose in business
that doesnt involve him.
HERB: What.... Are you forgetting that Drake and Low are brothers?
FRANK: Theyre not real brothers Herb.
HERB: Yeah, theyre closer than that.
FRANK: Pulease. They dont even talk.
HERB: Sure they do. And even if they didnt, theyre still brothers,
and you dont mess with a mans family Frank, you just dont do it.
The Enforcers just started something that they might not be able to finish.
FRANK: Oh what ever. The big news of the night... Sadly Adam Bawm lost the
match, and now he will have to go under the wing of one Dave Santini.
HS: Well its time for are next match, this one isnt going to be
pretty.
FJ: You got that right, we have the Hardcore Champion, Nightmist taking on
the challenger C-Rock.
HS: Lets go down to ring side.
Ring Announcer: Introducing first from Salt Lake City, UT weighing in at 255
pounds, he is a former United States, Intercontinental and Television champion
and the master of the Regulator, C-Rock!
("Made You Look" by Nas plays and C-Rock struts his way to the ring.)
Ring Announcer: And his opponent hailing from Buffalo, NY and weighing in at
265 pounds, he is the current AWA Hardcore Champion and the master of The Major
Let Down, Nightmist!
("Who we B" by DMX hits and Nightmist walks down the aisle, he has
the Louisville Slugger in his right hand.)
HS: Oh No! Nightmist has the baseball bat, weve seen what he can
do with that!
(Nightmist is taunting the crowd showing off the bat when C-Rock takes him
by surprise and baseball slides him, Nightmist falls to the floor and the bat
rolls up the ramp.)
FJ: Ha. I guess C-Rock played a little baseball in his day too.
(C-Rock goes to the floor and picks up Nightmist, he then Irish Whips him into
the steal steps knee first, Nightmist flips over the steps. C-Rock laughing
walks over and stomps Nightmist three times before rolling back in the ring.
C-Rock goes to the far corner and waits for Nightmist to drag himself into the
ring. Unknown to C-Rock Nightmist reaches under the ring and grabs a trash can.
C-Rock becomes inpatient and walks to the other side of the ring to see what
is holding up Nightmist, when he gets near the rope Nightmist throws the trash
can at his face and knocks C-rock down into a sitting position.)
HS: C-Rock wasnt expecting that.
FJ: Yeah, but who would?
(Nightmist in the ring now for the first time kicks C-Rock hard in the sternum.
He then picks him up and goes for a vertical suplex, but C-Rock lands on his
feet, still holding on to Nightmist C-Rock turns to his left and no has Nightmist
in a front face lock, as soon as he gets him in the front face lock position
he DDTs him right on the trash can lid!)
HS: What a reversal!
FJ: Nightmist landed head first on that trash can lid, hes out.
(C-Rock goes for a cover, 1
Kick out! C-Rock looks
stunned. C-rock picks up Nightmist and goes for a power bomb but Nightmist uses
his weight to force C-Rock down to his back, Nightmist then sitting on C-Rock
delivers a number of powerful right hands to the challengers face.
Nightmist picks up the trash can and hits C-Rock in the face three times the
exits the ring towards the ramp. Once again Nightmist looks under the ring and
emerges with a two by four wrapped in barbed wire!)
HS: Thats taking it to far, Somebody stop him!
FJ: No it isnt, Hit him! Hit him!
(Nightmist renters the ring and C-Rock back on his feet charges him. Nightmist
swings the two by four wildly but C-Rock is able to avoid contact. Both men
bounce of the ropes and C-Rock catches Nightmist with a stiff boot to the face.
Nightmist drops the two by four and C-Rock retrieves it. Nightmist is laying
on his stomach and C-Rock gets an evil look in his eyes. He brings the two by
four wrapped in barbed wire over his head and brings it down hard across Nightmists
stomach, Nightmist squirms in pain. Crock pulls the two by four out of Nightmists
body, and it sticks to his shirt momentarily.)
HS: OH GOD NO! DID YOU SEE THAT!
FJ: I saw it, but that doesnt mean I believe it.
(C-Rock brings the two by four up again but Nightmist cuts him off with a low
blow. Nightmist gets to his feet and picks up the two by four, C-Rock is leaning
up against the ropes when Nightmist swings the two by for and hits C-Rock right
in the face, who goes flying over the top rope and down onto the floor, but
not before hitting his head on the announce table.)
HS: C-Rock is busted wide open! Hes wearing a crimson mask.
(Nightmist goes down to the floor and he and C-Rock exchange right hands. Then
C-Rock gets the upper hand and hits Nightmist with a running power bomb on the
floor. C-Rock then puts Nightmists half conscious body on the Spanish
announce table, and heads to the tope rope.)
HS: I think C-Rock is going to go for an elbow drop.
FRANK: If he hits this its over.
(C-Rocks bloodied face looks a bit nervous, he doesnt
waste much time on the rope, he takes a huge leap and flutters towards the table,
but at the last moment Nightmist slowly rolls off the table to the mats, C-Rock
goes crashing through the table and ends up face down against the safety rail.)
HS: Both men are out! Neither are moving!
FJ: Do you see what the AWA Hardcore Championship means to these two men? This
is there life, Who is going to walk out the champ, that is what matters, pain
doesnt last forever, its about the glory. The glory
is what just drove C-Rock to jump ten feet through an announce table, these
men are crazy for gold.
(After at least two minutes of lying in pain Nightmist regains his composer
enough to walk over what is left of the Spanish announce table and pick up C-Rock.
Nightmist tries to execute a dominator, but C-Rock slides over Nightmists
shoulder and lands on the other side of the safety rail, he drops down and hits
a reverse bulldog of sorts on Nightmist, with his upper back bouncing off the
rail.)
HS: Theres still life left in C-Rock.
(Both men are down once again, security begins to clear the fans in the area
wear the two competitors are. C-Rock gets up and hooks Nightmist in a suplex
position, he picks he up over the barricade and brain busters him on to the
first row of chairs, leaving him hanging upside down on a chair. After a period
of regroup, C-Rock drags Nightmist up the aisle and up to a merchandise stand.
The people working there scatter and the two start to fight in front of the
glass display case. Nightmist gets the upper hand and Gorilla Press slams C-Rock
through the display case.)
HS: What I match, how are these two men still breathing.
FJ: Im so sure C-Rock is.
(Nightmist hops on top of C-Rock and starts punching him over and over again.
After a few more good punches Nightmist drags C-Rock back towards the crowd,
on top of the stairs. Nightmist lets C-Rock free with his back to the stairs.
C-Rock stands there, woozy and a bloody mess, hen Nightmist delivers a Clothesline
from Hell that sends C-Rock rolling down the stairs. C-Rock rolls, head over
heels then on his side all the way down to the safety rail. Nightmist follows
and when he gets to the bottom throws C-Rock over the rail and rolls him in
the ring.)
HS: Hes out, Nightmist has the match won, pin him Nightmist, pin
him.
(Nightmist goes down as if to pin C-Rock but then stands back up and with a
sick look in his eyes reaches into his pocket and pulls out a good size leather
bag.)
HS: Whats in the bag? Come on pin him the match is over.
(Nightmist opens up the bag and dumps hundreds of thumb tacks on the mat!)
FJ: THUMB TACKS! THUMB TACKS!
(Nightmist picks up C-Rock and sets him up in the corner, he picks him up to
the top rope then drives him down with the Major Let Down on the thumb tacks!
He then with thumb tacks sticking in his and C-Rocks body drops an arm over
his opponent and the Ref. counts, 1
2
.3.)
HS: Finally the madness is over, what a match
FJ: It looks like a car wreck out here, we need some medical attention.
HS: Theyre going to be talking about this one for years.
FJ: That was hardcore.
("Who we B" by DMX plays and Nightmists unconscious arm
is raised in victory, two stretchers are brought to the ring, and both men are
loaded onto the stretchers. Just as the EMTs are about to wheel Nightmist
and C-Rock off to the back, Adam Bawm comes out walking ever so slowly with
a Louiseville slugger firmly in his grasp. Adam makes it down to the ring and
the EMTs cant move the stretchers up the ramp with Bawm standing
in the middle of the ramp. Bawm shoos the EMTs away and when they dont
move away right away he raises the bat at them and they scatter like roaches
when the lights come on. Bawm pulls out a mic and begins to talk.
ADAM BAWM: Payback's a bitch! And I'm your pimp mother f***er!"
With that, Bawm nails Nightmist over the head with the bat. Having done his
deed, Adam Bawm begins to walk up the ramp backwards, not noticing Misery standing
halfway up the rampway. Adam Bawm backs into Misery and turns around, before
Misery can nail Bawm with a chair, Bawm jumps over the edge of the ramp and
backs away along the side of the ramp smiling at Misery and Nightmist.
HS: This is it Frank. Main event time. The moment we've been waiting for.
FJ: LJ is gonna have to like his chances going into this match. Though Warrior
SLAUGHTERED Suavio Mega in a prior match, the match went a LOT longer than he
could have ever expected.
HS: As a result, he's coming into this match at less than 100%.
FJ: As great a wrestler he is, I just don't see him able to pull this out.
HS: This is for the AWA World Heavyweight Title. If that can't get him up for
this match, then he doesn't need to be here.
-----"Real Thing" by Pearl Jam cues up and out struts L.J. Vacamas.
He's met with major heat. Taking a moment to work the crowd up even more, he
shouts obscenities and even challenges a brace-faced kid who's giving him a
thumbs down gesture. Circling the ring, he awaits his opponent.-----
FJ: Vacamas looks ready Herb. My money is on him to win!
HS: I still say the jury is out.
-----"Only God Can Judge Me" by Tupac plays next as the crowd starts
a 'Sua-Vi-O!' chant. Dark Warrior parts the curtains, a bag of ice draped around
his neck as he is grits his teeth and motions with his hand as if to backhand
several audience members. Carefully he steps through the ropes and both competitors
get nose to nose.-----
FJ: Can you feel the intensity Herb?
HS: Well, bout the only one who is having a hard time feeling right now is Warrior.
FJ: Ha ha!
-----The referee shows both men the belt and then holds it high in the air
as he calls for the bell. Both men circle each other as Warrior slings the ice
out of the ring. As they go to lock up, LJ strikes with a quick knee to the
midsection. He follows it up with a german suplex and then a baseball slide
type kick to the exposed face. Standing Warrior back up, he then hits with a
DDT and goes for the cover 1...2...kickout by Warrior. LJ decides to press the
advantage as he slaps on a reverse chinlock to further work the weakened neck.-----
FJ: Great strategy by Vacamas. He's gonna make a great world champion.
HS: He might. Or he might not.
FJ: Hope you like to eat crow because you're gonna eat plenty of it.
-----Letting go of the chinlock, LJ helps Warrior up to his feet. Ducking a
clothesline from Warrior, LJ locks his hands around Warrior's waist and lands
a belly to back suplex. Not letting go, he chains together three more. Taking
a moment to jaw at the ref, he then makes a very cocky cover, not even hooking
the leg. The ref counts once more. 1...2...Thr...foot on the rope by Dark Warrior.
Vacamas is livid as he pushes the ref only for the ref to push him back.-----
FJ: Careful there LJ! I've got a lot riding on ya!
HS: You're riding something on LJ?
FJ: Shut up Herb.
-----Vacamas continues to stomp away at Dark Warrior, kicking him in the ribs
one final time for good measure. Irish whipping him into the ropes, he then
catches him with a perfect powerslam. Instead of making the cover, though, LJ
decides to rain punches and verbal assaults over Dark Warrior before standing
over him to taunt and motion with his hands around his waist that the World
Title will be his. Unbeknownst to LJ, Big Bad Blue has walked down the ramp
to the outside. Circling it, he now stands on the opposite side he came down
on. As LJ lands the reverse neckbreaker, Rawstarr now runs down to ringside.
Climbing up on the apron, he distracts the referee as Blue now enters the ring!
Spinning LJ around, he slams a few fists into his forehead before whipping him
into the turnbuckle. Putting him up on the top, he scales it as well and hits
The Blue Equalizer!!!-----
HS: Oh my god!!!!
FJ: Where is the security? SECURITY!!!!!
-----Rawstarr and Big Bad Blue then stalk towards the announcers. Before they
can move back, Blue grabs the headset. Looking at them, he smirks and replies,
'That was for nothing. We just felt like giving pain to someone.'-----
FJ: SECURITY!!!!!!!
-----As if on cue, Dave Santini leads an impressive-looking security unit out.
Rawstarr and Blue, having accomplished what they came out to do, decide to hit
the high road as the security team finishes chasing them away! They turn their
attention back towards the ring where they stand around one side of it as if
forming a wall.-----
-----In the middle of the ring, both men are laid out. Slowly they both begin
to stir. LJ is up first and he fires off a right hand. Blocked by Warrior, Warrior
responds with one of his own. LJ now hits with a right that wobbles Warrior,
but Warrior springs off the ropes and connects with one of his own. LJ tries
to fire off another, but that is blocked and turned into the Crippled!-----
HS: What a counter-move by Dark Warrior.
FJ: C'mon LJ!
-----Warrior wrenches back on the hold as it is applied dead in the center
of the ring. As the moments pass, LJ's struggle in him seems to fade. Santini
begins shouting at the flamboyant one, though, and his arm shoots up as the
ref goes to check it. Slowly...painfully, he inches his way to the ropes where
he makes it to them with a desperation plunge. Warrior breaks the hold at four
as he slumps to the side, still feeling the effects from early on in the match.
Getting up first, Warrior lands an elbow into the back of LJ before putting
him into the STF.
HS: This is smart strategy by Dark Warrior.
FJ: He's hoping that by grounding LJ, he can slow the pace down and turn it
more into a high impact, grinding type match. Only problem is that he's spent
from his match earlier this evening! His style will prove to be his downfall!
HS: Spoken like a true imbecile.
-----LJ's screams fill the arena as Warrior has the hold cinched in tight.
Yet, much to his dismay, he finds that LJ has again found the ropes. Pulling
LJ up, he hits with a snap suplex and then goes for a figure four leglock. However,
LJ quickly diagnoses the move and counters it into a small package. Ref with
the cover. 1..2...Thr...last minute kickout by Dark Warrior! As Warrior quickly
springs up, LJ grabs him by the tights and throws him into the referee, knocking
him out in the process! Once the referee crumples to the side, LJ flips Dark
Warrior around in the turnbuckle and begins laying into him. Right...left...right...left.
Taunting Dark Warrior, he slowly begins to wind back...goading Warrior to take
a step into a waiting haymaker. At the opposite end of the ring, diagonal from
where they are, a white hand suddenly bursts through the ring!!!!-----
FJ: What the???
HS: This can't be a technical difficulty or anything. I...I can't believe my
own eyes.
FJ: A HAND is now opening and closing in the far corner of the ring. What the
hell is going on?
-----The crowd begins to pop loudly as the arm that is attached to the hand
raises up and now slams down through the mat. LJ is still none the wiser as
he thinks the crowd is behind him waiting to waylay Dark Warrior. All of a sudden
the rest of the body pops THROUGH the canvas and we see that CARNEVIL now stands
before the combatants with a steel pipe in hand!!! Warrior's eyes grow huge
and LJ senses that something isn't quite right. Slowly turning around, he then
sees what isn't right and then he finds a steel pipe smacking him in an uppercut
type fashion and down to the mat. Warrior smiles at what has just happened and
Carnevil returns the smile with a wicked grin of his own. As Dark Warrior makes
a move from the turnbuckle...-----
HS: I don't believe it! CarnEvil has just helped Dark Warrior by laying out
LJ!!!!!
FJ: This....this can't be happening can it?
HS: Could it be that these two men are in an alliance?
-----...he's met with a NASTY shot to the midsection followed by a Hell's Circus
for his trouble as the crowd roars their approval!-----
HS: I take it that means no.
FJ: It means HELL no.
-----Dave Santini and his entourage have seen enough. They gather on one side
of the ring, getting ready to apprehend the NHL member. Realizing this, CarnEvil
bounces off of the ropes. Using his momentum and displaying his atheletic prowress,
he springs to the outside where he squashes most of the security force as if
they were little bugs. Noticeable from the crunch was Dave Santini. As CarnEvil
pops back up to his feet, he senses the head of security charging him. Wanting
to meet his foe head on, he quickly turns and takes down Santini with a near-beheading-type
clothesline from hell! Seeing the carnage left in the giant's wake, his eyes
light up and he casts yet another demonic smile. Hopping over the barricade
he makes his way up through the crowd as he leaves.
Inside, both men are out cold. The ref is out cold. Several minutes pass as
we see the blood start to ooze from both combatants: Warrior from the head and
LJ from the mouth. As they get back up to their feet Warrior swings wildly as
LJ ducks under. As Warrior spins around, LJ catches him with a boot to the gut.
As he bounces off the rope for a move, Warrior reveals that he was merely playing
possum and lands a belly-to-belly suplex. Standing over LJ to get his breath,
he goes for his patented figure-four leglock, only for LJ to rake his eyes!
Quickly reaching for one of Warrior's feet, he takes him down and then entertwines
his own leg in between. Turning the move over, he puts Warrior in the Vacamas
Trap as the crowd cheers on the signature move!-----
FJ: This is it!!! I'm eating steak tonight!
HS: Well, I wouldn't be too sure about.....
----As LJ cranks back on the move, we see Warrior as he's screaming out in
pain, blood running down his cheeks and even into his mouth. He's tapping, but
the referee is out cold!
FJ: Whohooo! Warrior just....
HS: Hey, Frank, you're forgetting something.
FJ: What?
HS: Who needs to ring the bell?
FJ: The ref, but he's....oh. OH HELL NO! COME ON WAKE UP REF!!!!!!
-----Hearing Warrior tap, LJ releases the hold and holds his arms up high.
A moment passes, and he then realizes that the referee is still out cold. Going
over to the ref, he begins to revive him. This buys Warrior precious time. Once
again, he plays possum. As LJ picks up Dark Warrior, he calls for the Shutdown.
As he lifts him up, he's surprised to feel Warrior turn and continue to flip
OVER LJ! Not wasting any motion at all, Warrior quickly applies The Deadly Darkness
as once again the crowd comes to life!-----
HS: It could be over right here!!!!
FJ: This can't be!!!
-----The ref shakes the cobwebs clear and goes over to where LJ is. He checks
the hold to make sure it isn't an illegal choke. Seeing nothing wrong with it,
he continues to check on him. He drops the arm once. Lifting it up, he drops
the arm a SECOND time. As he picks up the arm a third time, LJ's arm BARELY
stays up. The ref turns to signal that the match still continues. In that moment,
Santini lunges at LJ's foot and desperately puts it on the rope as LJ's hand
is tapping away.
HS: WE HAVE A WINNER!
FJ: Look again Herb! The foot is on the rope!
HS: THAT DAMN SANTINI!!!!!
-----As Warrior goes to pick LJ back up off the mat, Vacamas quickly responds
with a low blow! The crowd boos the move as Santini quickly retrieves a chair
from under the ring. Sliding it in the ring, he quickly distracts the ref. Vacamas
hobbles his way over to where the chair is. Picking it up, he holds it in his
hands preparing to deliver the knockout blow. As Warrior makes it to his feet,
LJ takes a murderous swing. Warrior ducks under the swing as LJ SOMEHOW manages
to put on the brakes and not hit the referee. As the referee is slides to the
side and starts to chew out Vacamas, Warrior runs towards the far side ropes.
Bouncing off of them, he lands a brutal forearm to the back of LJ's head that
sends him straight into Dave Santini, steel chair leading the rush. Santini
gets wiped out as he crumples back to the outside of the ring. LJ is shaken
as he wobbles from the ropes. Warrior is up and he drills a boot to the midsection
and follows it up with the unprettier. Going over to the turnbuckle, he painfully
scales his way up. The crowd is on their feet as they see Warrior grabbing at
his neck. He nearly falls off the ropes, but he gathers himself...defies his
own body's protests...and lands the High Death! Draping an arm over LJ's body
the ref administers the count.

2....
3!!!!!!!!
-----The ref calls for the bell as Dark Warrior rolls onto his back and is
handed the AWA World Title. He clenches it against his body tightly as he grimaces
from the pain. Slowly he rolls all the way out and throws it over his shoulder
as he's helped to the back by several refs who emerge from the curtains. Moments
later, Dave Santini makes it to his feet and stalks off, holding his head in
pain. Meanwhile, LJ has his back to the ramp as he's leaning on the ropes. His
breathing is deep, but he seems more pissed off than in extreme pain.
Suddenly Low comes walking down the ring. He doesn't rush down, but he seems
to walk to the ring with a purpose. He slides in and Vacamas turns around to
see him. Low and Vacamas stare at each other. They take a few steps towards
each other until they stand in each other's reach.-----
HS: What is Low doing here?
FJ: He told Vacamas they'd meet eye to eye in the very near future, and the
very near future appears to be now!
-----Low reaches his hand out to Vacamas, who looks surprised. The fans don't
know how to react either. Low smiles at Vacamas. Vacamas hesitates a little
before he smiles back and shakes Low's hand.-----
HS: Oh no! What is this all about?
FJ: It seems that Low's words about Santini and Gray have caused Vacamas to
reconsider his alliance with them?
HS: I don't believe that!
-----Low and Vacamas both smile and Low looks into the cheering crowd with
a weird grin. All of a sudden he kicks Vacamas in the midsection and goes for
the Low Stunner, but Vacamas, after his battle with Dark Warrior, is able to
push Low off and into the ropes! Low rebounds and is met by a kick to his own
midsection. Vacamas hooks Low's head and hits the Shutdown! Low is down and
out on the mat while Vacamas leaves the ring to the boos of the crowd.-----
HS: What a night this has been!
