AWA CLASSIC 2003
August 31st, 2003, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Maracanã Municipal Stadium
Since the beginning of time man has fought one another,
Be it for money, power or personal vendetta, they all have had a reason,
This time is no different as we have many men who are willing to fight
.....Shades of the past showing Lars Frederickson, Ray Owens, Punisher, Hangman,
Weston Steel and Theoren Spencer all fighting it out in various, world title
matches, their faces bloody, yet still fighting fist for fist against their
opponents.....
Those who are willing to sacrifice it all
.....Shades of past show that of Black Dragon falling off from the ladder via
a Southern Comfort by Hangman in their world title match. Then another of Low
and Mortis from Heaven to Hell, with Low flying right into the cage as he is
electrocuted, and Mortis right off the top of the cage below. Then things go
to that of Morticia in her last match, as you see her doing the fatal moon-sault,
the result fading to black before seen......
Only to become the man. To become the woman. To become
champion
.....Various poses of the various world champions, both men and woman are shown.
First the Mercenary, then the Excorcist, then Weston Steel, then Johnny Cool,
then Crimson Dream, then Killspree, then Theoren Spencer, then Sabotage. It
continues to show the faces of Jack Happy holding the gold, then Ray Owens,
Lars Fredrickson, Steven Caldera, Vapor Adams, Mortis Valley, Hangman, Black
Dragon, Drake Hyde, Dark Warrior, and finally Low. Then things pauses as you
hear the words once again.....
To become champion
.....As then it shows all the woman champions, Ramona A. Stone, Morticia, Leena
Hyde, Lethal Louise, and then Lustful Laura, all holding the gold, much like
the men just a moment ago......
And that is what makes them
.this is what makes us,
.that
is what makes this
CLASSIC!
.....Things then show the words AWA CLASSIC as it spans out to
American Wrestling Alliance. You then hear another voice speak up,
Tonight is a night of champions! Tonight is a night of legends! Tonight
is a night of
Classic!`
.....Things begin to show images of the various men and woman who are competing
tonight, as their matches are described.....
First we have newcomers Brute and M-Tank meeting up for the first time.
These two havent been here long, but their rivalry seems has heated up
in new, and unforeseen ways. Then we have two former friends, two former partners,
former champions, and former team mates, including this years team of the year,
as Poppa faces F-Bomb! We then have a TV title shot, against three of the biggest
up and comers in the AWA. All of them are already known, but ready to make themselves
known more on route to their chance to win the television title, Ian Hensly,
faces Evan Spire faces Animosity!
But thats not all! Another match has been boiling for weeks, as
former AI member Judgment, the same man who betrayed Adam Bawn and Bryan Peek,
the same man, who turned on each and every one of his fans for the Blue Print,
will now face one of the men he betrayed, Bryan Peek! Next, we have a womans
title elimination match, as challengers Lady C, and Rebecca Starr try to defeat
the most dominant lady in the womans division, Lustful Laura! But that
title match is NOT ALL, as for the first time EVER, two titles will be up for
grab, as Javex Valerius, Whisper, and The Fish, challenge each other for the
Cruiserweight and Television titles in a triple threat ladder match!
The title defenses dont stop there as Hardcore champion Death Angel
will put his title on the line, in one of the most dangerous environment of
all, Hell in a Cell, against two of the most dangerous opponents of all time,
Aaron Matthewson and Jayson Price, in a triple threat, elimination match! But
as dangerous as that, it may pale to the match between two men whose hatred
for each other has been felt all over the summer, as Adam Bawn, will FINALLY
be facing former world champion and legend, Dave Santini!
Thats not it though! Also on this card, an elimination match between
the current, hot, tag team, Opposites Attract, former champions Never Punking
Down, against two men who have dominated the tag team scene, one man, two men,
who are both multiple time champions, and one of them, a former everything,
with only the title he is going for now to make him a grand slam champion, Bad
Bloods Dark Warrior and C-Rock. That, coupled with former multiple champion
Jack Happy and a mystery partner that he swears will shock the world, all will
go at it for the AWA Tag Team titles!
But what is an AWA show without a main event? And there are two of them.
The first, two man filled with hatred with each other, two men, would are willing
to destroy each other, mentally, physically, emotionally and everything else.
It will be former world champion, Mortis Valley, against AWA president Travis
Gray, in a match determining the United States title, Mortis Valleys freedom,
and the complete and total ownership of the AWA!
And finally, what kind of Classic Card could there be without a Classic
World title match? As part of the second half of the AWA main event, long timer,
Snakebite will finally get his chance to shine, as he goes to face world champion
Low for the AWA World Heavyweight championship. Will Snakebite finally realize
his dream, his destiny of becoming AWA world champion? Or will Low finally complete
his come back, by denying Snakebite his era, with the completion of Lows
second? No matter what happens in this match or any others, the final result
will be
.CLASSIC!
Things then go to the arena as you see fans everywhere. Up, down, left, right,
in every corner, in every angle, there are fans all cheering, letting out AWA
chants, as you see them all holding various signs
HS: Welcome everybody to AWA Classic 2003 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! 96.863
people have packed the Maracanã
Municipal Stadium to watch the biggest show of the year!
FJ: Classic, as is the case every year, is shaping up to be an absolutely spectecular
show, as there is a lot on the line tonight.
HS: The Fish and Whisper will continue their battle for the Cruiserweight title,
but there are three added factors that were not there at King Of The Kage in
July.
FJ: Since then, Fish has gained the TV title, and that will be on the line
tonight as well. Factor number two is the involvement of Javex Valerius, who
might just steal both titles from under Fish and Whisper's noses.
HS: And let's not forget that this particular match will be a double-title
ladder match. Furthermore, Dave Santini will try to show young Adam Bawm the
error of his ways in this long-building grudge match.
FJ: It will be a battle for everything the other man has. In Mortis Valley's
case, that isn't much, except for his freedom and the United States title. Should
Mortis Valley lose, he will become the personal assisstant to President Gray.
HS: Should Mortis win, however, he will gain ownership of the whole American
Wrestling Alliance and President Gray will be history.
FJ: And speaking of history, Low will get the chance to continue writing history,
as he is trying to become the first World Champion in AWA history to leave Classic
with his title reign intact.
HS: Snakebite, on the other hand, wants to follow in the footsteps of previous
World Champions from Elimination Enterprises, specifically Jack Happy, Crimson
Dream, The Punisher, Sabotage and The Hangman.
FJ: And Classic is about ready to start!
(Suddenly, the lights dim and the sounds of marching fill the arena. The AWATron
lights up with black and white scenes of soldiers parading about, interspersed
with scenes of riots and violent protests. Also, the words CHAOS, MAYHEM, and
DISORDER, flash intermittently. The sound of a two tone bassline and drumbeat
slowly builds underneath the marching feet. As the crescendo reaches its peak,
words fade in over the chaoticly switching scenes. )
ZEAL UNLEASHED
(The bass and drum cut out and the marching fades out with the image on the
AWATron. )
HS: What the heck was that?
FJ: I don't know. What are your sources saying?
HS: Sources? What sources?
FJ: You know. You gotta have sources.
HS: I have a source of irritation and he's sitting right next to me.
FJ: Am I annoying you, Herb.
HS: Yes!
FJ: Good. Then I'm fulfilling my contractual obligation to President Gray to
make you life a living hell.
HS: *under his breath* I should've known ... Anyway, this year we have a rather
interesting way of starting off Classic.
FJ: Interesting doesnt begin to explain it.
HS: You may be right, maybe strange is a better word, the opening match will
be Brute versus M-Tank.
(The scene fades to a backstage area where we see Brute and Fish playing hacky
sack, Brute is wearing his wrestling gear wich consists of a tie dye spandex
style singlet that says Brute in the middle and black wrestling boots, Fish
is still wearing street clothes, he has on a Huma Huma Trigger shirt, blue jeans
and white converse Chuck Taylors. As they speak the hacky sack falls every
so often, but they just pick it up with there feet.)
Fish: You ready.
Brute: I dont know dude, tanks are pretty scary.
Fish: For the last time he isnt half tank.
Brute: Really?
Fish: Um, yes, Ive been telling you that since we met him in that bar.
Brute: Well, even if he isnt a tank, hes pretty big, and eats a
lot of pizza.
Fish: That is a true statement, but it doesnt matter, because tonight
is our night, Im walking out a double champion, and your
about to win your first match.
(Brute kicks the sack over his head then turns 180 degrees and kicks it back
to Fish)
Brute: FULL MOON!
("I Cant Wait" hits.)
Fish: Lets go.
Brute: I gotta do this on my own.
(Brute walks away.)
Fish (Screaming to Brute): You can do it!
(The scene cuts back to the arena and we see Brute walking, or more accurately
dancing, down the aisle. He gets in the ring and does a pose in all four corners
before St. Anger Hits and M-Tank makes his way down the aisle.)
HS: Look at that hes eating pizza on his way down to the ring. Ive
never seen anything like this before.
FJ: Sure you have, remember just last week on X-Plosion when Brute came to
the ring eating a chili dog?
HS:
(M-tank comes down to the ring to a little less of a reaction then what Brute
got. Once in the ring Brute stares down M-Tank from across the ring, Brute looks
confident but there is still a little look of fear in his eyes. The referee
calls for the bell and the match is officially under way. Both men circle each
other then M-Tank takes the initiative and locks up with Brute. M-Tank forces
Brute back into the corner and the ref calls for a break, M-Tank breaks cleanly
but as soon as they are apart Brute comes out with hard lefts and rights to
the body and face of M-tank. After about ten punches have landed M-tank manages
to hit a hip toss on the Brute, Brute bounces right back up though and spears
M-Tank back into the corner, M-Tank falls down to his butt and the ref backs
Brute up, Brute does a little dance as M-Tank regains his composure. Once M-Tank
gets back to his feet Brute runs at him and goes for a body avalanche, M-tank
is able to move and Brute bounces hard off the turn buckle and stumbles back,
Brute is hit with a huge clothesline that takes him down hard. M-tank stays
on Brute and hits a power bomb on Brute. M-Tank mounts Brute and starts hitting
brute with big powerful punches. Brute is bust wide open, M-Tank picks Brute
back up by the hair and hits a huge choke slam!)
HS: What power from the big man.
FJ: Which one, there both big and powerful.
(M-Tank stays on Brute and picks him back up to a vertical base. M-Tank picks
Brute up for a suplex but Brute goes back down to his feet and hooks M-Tank
around the waist. Brute steps 180 degrees and hits a over the head belly to
belly that drops M-Tank right on the back of his head. Brute rushes over to
the fallen M-Tank and tries to lock in the atomic ankle lock but M-Tank quickly
gets to the bottom rope.)
HS: Good move by M-Tank, if Brute would have locked that in it would have been
over for the Tank.
FJ: Hey why do you get to call M-Tank the Tank, I want to call M-Tank the Tank.
HS: No one is stopping you.
FJ: Okay then, look at the Tank know.
(Brute is clubbing M-Tank in the back of the head with some stiff forearms,
M-Tank is in the rope so the ref is trying to break the hold, but Brute is relentless
so M-Tank more or less falls to the out side to escape the brutal beating. With
M-tank laying on the floor regrouping Brute grabs on to the top rope and signals
to the crowd that he is going to go for a plancha. The crowd buzzes in anticipation
of the big move.)
HS: Is he nuts? Hell never make it.
FJ: Of course hes nuts, he drove to Brazil.
(M-Tank is now on his feet facing the crowd, he turns and Brute takes to the
air. Brute tries to launch himself over the top rope but both his feet get caught
in the top rope and he falls awkwardly down on top of M-Tank.)
HS: Oh dear lord! Brute may have just hit the ugliest yet most effective plancha
in the history of professional wrestling! 270 plus pounds of Brute just came
down hard on M-Tank!
FJ: Brute has always been strong like moose, and he just proved that he is
fast like cheetah!
HS: Did you just paraphrase a Brute quote from over a month ago?
FJ: Yes, yes I did.
(Both men are still out on the outside so the ref starts the ten count. 1

Brute is the first man in the ring and M-Tank follows close behind. Brute tries
to whip M-Tank into the ropes but M-Tank reverses it and Brute goes into the
ropes, Brute ducks a clothesline on the rebound and hits M-Tank with a big fist.
Brute goes and turns M-Tank over, M-tank is visibly bleeding and Brute goes
for a pin cover. 1
.2
.. M-Tank gets the should up. Brute hooks the
leg and attempts the pin again. 1
..2
.. M-Tank kicks out a gain.)
HS: Veteran maneuver there by Brute.
(Brute looks a little mad about not getting the three count, he pick M-Tank
up by the hair and gets him up on his shoulders.)
HS: He could be going for the DLG!
(M-Tank slides off Brute shoulders and lands on his feet behind Brute, M-Tank
pushes Brute into the ropes and Brute comes back with his back to M-Tank, M-Tank
quickly hits the Incoming and covers Brute. 1

no! Brute got his should up at the last second. M-Tank hops back to his feet
and stomps Brute a few times hard in the ribs and back. M-Tank then gets back
on Brute and locks in the Tank Chain right in the middle of the ring.)
FJ: Its over, Brute has no where to go.
(Brute is still in the middle of the ring and its already been at least
ten seconds in the Tank Chain. Brute slowly starts to make his way towards the
ropes, but he isnt making much progress.)
HS: God Good, Brute isnt human, how can he take this punishment.
(Brute is getting closer and moving faster and faster, you can see M-Tank shake
his head no as Brute gets ever closer to that bottom rope, the fans are chanting
Brutes name and clapping trying to help him reach that rope, Brute right hand
is shaking furiously as he comes closer and closer to the break. Finally Brute
drapes a now lifeless hand over the bottom rope and the fans love it.)
HS: Brute just lasted over a minute in the Tank Chain, UN-BELIEV-ABLE!
(M-Tank yells at the referee that Brute taped out but the ref disagrees, M-Tank
is steaming, Brute has managed to limp to his feet and is standing against the
ropes, M-Tank tries to hit a right but Brute blocks Brute fires back with three
hard rights of his own and whips M-Tank into the ropes, M-Tank comes back and
Brute hits Brutality on his opponent.
HS: Thats it, Brute has won the match.
FJ: I dont know if that is enough, Tank is one tough amigo.
(Almost as if Brute had heard Frank he pick M-Tank back up and it looks like
he is going to go for an inverted piledriver, he doesnt though, instead
he goes down to his knees and drops M-Tank head and almost face first down in
a modified tombstone.)
HS: Oh my goodness, Id be surprised if Brute didnt break M-Tanks
neck!
(With M-Tank knocked out and possibly injured Brute scales the top rope and
hits the Jar Jar Binks on the prone M-Tank, he rolls into the cover. 1
.2
.3!)
HS: You can put an one in the Brute win column because Brute just won his first
match ever here at Classic.
(As Brute celebrates his victory, the two tone bassline and drumbeats cuts
off his music and quickly resolves into the beginning of 'New Skin' by Incubus.
As it picks up, a figure walks out from backstage. He straightens the bowler
on his head and adjusts his sunglasses as he walks down the ramp. Brute regards
the smirking newcomer with curiosity. He rolls into the ring and looks Brute
up and down. M-Tank has worked his way to his knees. The hat-wearing gentleman
suddenly bounces off the ropes and sets M-Tank back down with a hard scissors
kick. Then he ascends the turnbuckle and flies off with a hard fist drop to
M-Tank's cranium. The interloper flicks his hand, kisses his knuckles, and extends
the hand to Brute. Brute looks at the hand suspiciously, but starts to extend
his own hand. The newcomer lashes out with a kick to the gut, grabs Brute's
head and jumps up, and lands with a hard Stunner-type move that knocks Brute
out.
The assailant rolls out of the ring and accepts a mic handed to him by a member
of the stage crew. He surveys his handywork, shaking his head and clucking his
tongue.)
NEWCOMER: "Chaos, Mayhem, Disorder ... and my work has only begun. A pleasure
to make your acquaintance, Brute, M-Tank. You may call me Zeal."
('New Skin' kicks back up as Zeal calmly climbs over the barricade and walks
out through the crowd.)
HS: Well, what a surprising beginning to Classic. Obviously, Zeal wasn't that
impressed with Brute and M-Tank.
(The camera cuts to the back where we see Low, World title belt over his shoulder,
and Ramona A. Stone arriving at the arena. We then cut back to Herb and Frank.)
FJ: OUR World Champion has arrived!
HS: Well, enjoy it as long as you can, because tonight...
FJ: Yeah, whatever, Herb. Anyway, before we get on with everything, Id
like to make an announcement. Tonight, were going to experience something
thats going to rock the AWA, and perhaps the world, to its very foundations.
Ive only heard hints, but Id like to share with you- what the??
(Zeal suddenly jumps over the barricade right next to Herb and starts to put
on a headset.)
HS: What are you doing here?
ZEAL: You guys have good seats.
FJ: Hey, relax, Herb. This guys new here.
ZEAL: And glad to perform in front of all these people.
HS: Ummmm, okay. So, Zeal, why did you attack Brute and M-Tank.
ZEAL: Attack? Oh, yeah. I kinda messed those two up, didnt I?
FJ: *laugh* Yeah, you sure did. Let me thank you for that.
HS: But why?
ZEAL: Because after every horrible event, most people have a tendency to bounce
back and become better than they were before.
FJ: Huh?
HS: I dont-
(Suddenly, feedback sounds over the speakers and then resolves into My
Goddess by the Exies. The crowd bursts into cheers as Evan Spire walks
out from the back followed by his manager, Paul Forbes. Paul whispers some things
into Evans ear before patting him on the back. Evan nods and runs down
to the ring, slapping hands with the fans. He slides into the ring and gets
up on the turnbuckle, pumping up the crowd. He casts a glance over at Zeal,
who ignores him.)
FJ: I cant believe the audacity of this punk. He waltzes in here like
he owns the place and then steals L.J. Vacamass title as The Real Thing.
When Vacamas gets back hell show him who the real, uh, Real Thing is!
HS: Maybe, but I think this kid is gold. The fans love him and he seems to have
an unlimited source of energy. Its only a matter of time before he hits
his stride and moves up the ladder in the AWA. What do you think, Zeal?
(Zeal smacks Herb lightly on the end of his nose with the back of his hand.)
HS: Ow! What was that for?
ZEAL: Spire is a young arrogant smart ass with an old arrogant smart ass as
his manager. Regardless of that, he does have some athletic ability. If he ever
gets his head out of the clouds, he might just make it somewhere.
HS: But why did you just-
(Once again, Herb is cut off by Forever and a Days Here Comes the
Pain. The crowd boos loudly as Animosity steps out from behind the curtain,
head shrouded by the black hood of his sleeveless shirt. His eyes focused completely
on Evan Spire, Animosity stalks slowly down to the ring.)
FJ: Stop whining, Herb. Just gaze in awe of Animosity. Hes no longer
the Icon. He is rage personified. He is the future of the AWA.
HS: I just want to know-
(Zeal tries to backhand Herb again, but Herb dodges the rookies lazy
strike.)
HS: Whats your problem?
ZEAL: You dodged the second strike because you learned from the first strike,
right?
HS: Well, uh, yeah.
ZEAL: Precisely what Im talking about. In a small way, youre smarter
because I hit you before.
FJ: In a twisted way, it makes sense.
(Animosity has made it into the ring and pulls off his shirt, showing off his
chiseled body. His face is twisted into an expression of pure hatred to Spire,
who grins fearlessly at Animosity.)
HS: Animosity is scary. He has brains, brawn, and speed to make a lethal combination.
I hate all that he stands for. I think that hes a miserable excuse for
a human being, but that doesnt make him any easier to beat.
FJ: Would you rather that he smiled all the time like Spire.
HS: No, but why does he hate the rest of his fellow man so much?
ZEAL: *yawns*
(Inertiatic E.S.P. by the Mars Volta brings cheers to the crowd
once again as Ian Hensley and Jesse van Buren step out from backstage. Ian hops
on the balls of his feet a couple of times, feeling the energy of the crowd,
before running down the aisle and sliding into the ring.)
HS: And heres Ian Hensley! Hes a little strange, but no one can
doubt the kids energy. You remember when he was here before, Frank?
FJ: I cant remember what I had for breakfast this morning, Herb. You
think I can remember some no name that was here a while back?
HS: Judging from the smell over here, it had to be a bean burrito.
FJ: Hey! Who do you think I am? Some sad, fat, old clown that doesnt
know when to quit?
HS: Frank! You have the wrapper right in front of you!
FJ:
ZEAL: Ian Hensley doesnt look like the type to give up, but he certainly
lacks focus. Maybe if he stopped listening to the voices in his head so much,
he might actually be a threat in this match.
HS: Who do you think is going to win?
ZEAL: Animosity. Hes quite narrow-minded on the subject. Ian is too scatterbrained
and Evan lacks the necessary viciousness.
(Evan walks up to Ian Hensley, extending his hand for his customary handshake.
Ian tilts his head to the side, puzzled, but shakes Evans hand, eliciting
a pop from the crowd. Animosity decides to take advantage of this and runs in
for a double clothesline. Evan and Ian see this in time and counter with a double
vertical facebuster.)
ZEAL: *laughs* Not that narrow-mindedness doesnt have its drawbacks.
(Ian and Evan get right back up. Ian tries to clothesline Evan, but Evan counters
with a solo vertical facebuster. Hensley gets back up only to be met by a barrage
of punches from Evan. A hanging vertical suplex puts Hensley back on the ground.
Spire stands back up and spreads his arms to the crowd, which cheers in response.
He turns around and is met by a hard dropkick to the chest from the recovered
Animosity. Spire gets up, only to be hit by another dropkick. He gets up and
receives a third. Hensley gets up and receives a dropkick of his own from Animosity.
Hensley falls through the ropes and to the outside.
Animosity picks Spire up by the hair and rocks him with a hard right. Spire
is whipped into the corner. Animosity charges, but Spire dodges and he hits
the turnbuckle hard. Spire dropkicks him in the back of his head, sending him
face-first into the turnbuckle. Evan rolls up Animosity, but only gets two.
Spire gets up and is hit by a springboard flying side kick from Ian Hensley.)
FJ: Where did he come from?
ZEAL: Virginia; whod have thought?
HS: Hensleys showing that his unpredictability is a dangerous weapon.
(As Animosity gets to his knees, Hensley rushes over and locks in a front facelock,
hooking one of his arms. Showing great strength, Ian picks him up and delivers
a nasty piledriver, leaving Animosity prone on the mat. Ian springsboards off
the middle rope and hits an Asai moonsault on his foes lower back. He
rolls the bigger man over and goes for the pin.
1
2 Animosity kicks
out.)
HS: Close count by Hensley.
FJ: Why are Spire and Hensley ganging up on Animosity? Its not fair.
ZEAL: Animosity made himself a target and wasnt prepared for it.
(Hensley picks Animosity up and tries to whip him into the ropes, but Animosity
suddenly keeps his ground and pulls Ian in for a short clothesline. He doesnt
release his grip on Ians arm, but pulls him up and into a spinebuster
and the pin.)
HS: Wait a minute! Evan Spires on the top rope!
(As the referees hand goes down once, Evan leaps off and hits a senton
bomb on Animosity and Hensley. Animosity clutches his back and rolls out of
the ring. Spire pins Hensley.
1
2 Hensley kicks out. Evan Spire
locks in a dragon sleeper and brings them into a standing position. Then he
turns it into a reverse DDT. He maintains the hold and stands back up. Then
he lets the bottom drop out again. He repeats it a third time before folding
Hensley up with a German suplex. He bridges for the pin
1
2 Hensley
kicks out. Jesse hits the mat, trying to motivate his superstar. Evan climbs
the top turnbuckle as Hensley slowly gets to his feet. Ian suddenly lunges at
Spire and hits him in the midsection with a jumping reverse kick. Spire is knocked
off his perch and into an uncomfortable position. Hensley slowly climbs the
ropes and executes a textbook superplex.)
HS: My God! That took a lot out of both men.
FJ: That fool!
ZEAL: Might as well risk everything if youre trying to win.
(Both men struggle to their feet. Hensley makes it up first and rocks Evan
with a punch. Evan heaves himself to his feet and retaliates with one of his
own. They trade punches until Ian ducks one and kicks Evan in the gut and delivers
an inverted DDT. Hensley picks Spire up and tries to whip him into the ropes,
only to have it reversed. Spire goes for a roundhouse kick, but Ian ducks it,
bounces off the ropes, and nails a mighty superkick. He picks Evan up and plants
him with a belly to back suplex. Ian gets up with a wild look in his eyes, eliciting
a cheer from the crowd. He climbs up the turnbuckle farthest from the motionless
form of Spire.)
FJ: Whats that idiot doing? He cant jump that far!
ZEAL: Hes obviously going to do something thatll hurt him as much
as it will Spire.
HS: Hes putting it all on the line for the match!
(Ian Hensley leaps from the top rope and nails Evan Spire with a flying elbow
drop. The referee counts
1
2 No! Evan Spire just got his shoulder
up. Hensley gets up and looks at the referee, holding up three fingers, obviously
upset. The referee shakes his head and holds up only two fingers. Ian turns
around into the waiting fists of Animosity.)
HS: Animosity was laying in wait for Ian Hensley.
FJ: An opportunist! I like him!
ZEAL: Opportunist is just another word for capitalist. Theres nothing
wrong with that.
FJ: I like this guy, Herb.
HS: You would.
(Meanwhile, the capitalist throws Hensley with a belly to belly suplex and
drives an elbow into his chest. Animosity picks Hensley up and throws him into
the corner, following it up with a hard shoulder tackle. Ian stumbles out of
the corner and is picked up for a backbreaker. Ian arches his back in pain as
Animosity ascends the turnbuckle. Slowly, Ian Hensley gets to his feet only
to be leveled by Animositys flying clothesline. Animosity gets to his
feet just as the smaller man painfully rolls to his knees. Animosity grabs him
and hoists him up for a powerful sit-out powerbomb. He pushes Hensleys
limp form away from him and looks over at Evan Spire, who was using the ropes
to get himself to his feet.)
HS: Animosity isnt going for the pin. I think that he wants to cause
more damage.
FJ: Thats because he knows that theyre no match for him. Hes
going to make them suffer for their hubris. Now, hes going to teach them
the meaning of the word pain, of the word agony, of the word Animosity!
ZEAL: Hubris? Youre smarter than you look, Frank.
FJ: Thank you, Zeal.
ZL: Not smart enough to realize thats not a complement, apparently.
HS: *stifles a laugh*
(Animosity grabs Evan Spire and connects with a reverse implant DDT. Evan rolls
over, clutching the back of his head in pain. Animosity stomps on Spire repeatedly,
aiming for his neck. Then he hoists him up into a suplex position. He removes
the supporting hand and lets Spire hang there for a few moments, showing off
his awesome power. The he drops him into a brainbuster. Animosity gets up and
glares out at the crowd, who boo for him. A sadistic smile comes to his face
as he turns to Evan Spire. He picks up Spire like a sack of potatoes and throws
him over his shoulder. Then he delivers a hard gutbuster. Evan grips his midsection
with a look of pain on his face. Animosity grabs Evan by his dark hair to help
him up. Spire will have none of it as he nails the big man in the gut with several
punches. But all that gets him is a kick to the gut and a DDT. Animosity shakes
his head and picks Spire back up. This time Spire doesnt struggle as hes
whipped into the ropes. Animosity gets a running start and goes to clothesline
him, but Spire ducks. Both men bounce off opposite ropes. Animosity turns Spire
inside out with a clothesline from Hell.)
FJ: Animosity has decimated both men in the ring! Hes a monster, no mercy,
no holding back, no-
ZEAL: No kidding.
HS: Its looking bad for Evan Spire and Ian Hensley. Both men look to
be on dream street. Wait! Whats Animosity doing?
(Animosity rolls out of the ring and heads for Jesse van Buren. Jesse backpedals,
moving away from the bigger man. He heads past Paul Forbes, who has taken up
a seat next to the attractive female time keeper. Paul looks up as van Buren
passes him, but pays the approaching Animosity no mind. Instead, he goes back
to hitting on the younger woman, who appears to be fascinated by him. As Animosity
passes he mouths the word jackass to the camera. Jesse appears to
be standing his ground as Animosity rounds the ring post. Animosity goes to
strike Jesse, but he ducks the big mans blow and instead kicks out the
back of his knee. The referee, checking on Evan Spire, fails to see this. Animosity
grits his teeth in pain and anger and straightens up. He goes to turn to Jesse,
but when he has his back to the ring, Hensley bounces off the opposite rope
and dives through the ropes at full speed, Blindsiding Animosity literally-
in the lower back and driving him into the barricade. Unfortunately, Ians
head hits the barricade, too, and both men seem to be knocked out. The referee
sees all three men down and shakes his head at the carnage. He begins to count.
1!
2!)
HS: No way! Not a triple count out!
3!
FJ: That idiot Hensley! Hes ruined the match!
4!
ZEAL: Hey cool! You have one of those replay options. Lets see that again.
(The screen suddenly splits, showing the referee reach five in the smaller
box and Ian Hensley running and diving through the ropes, spearing Animosity
in mid (
6!) air, and hitting his own head against the barricade.
7! Evan Spire painfully gets to a crouching position using the
ropes. The referee, looking out at the wreckage that was Animosity and Hensley,
doesnt see him.)
8!
HS: Hey, ref! Spires up! Turn around!
(
9! Spire realizes that the referee is still counting and lunges
at him, bumping into him just before he reaches ten. The referee turns around
and pushes Spire, who holds up his hands innocently. Then he hops out of the
ring and grabs Hensley by the hair. He suplexes Hensley on the floor. Spire
gets up and notices that Animosity is back to his feet, using the barricade
to get vertical. Spire punches him a few times before attempting to whip him
into the steel steps. Animosity reverses and tries to send Spire into the steel,
but Spire slides and stops before hitting the steps. Animosity runs in at Spire,
but Evan counters with a vertical facebuster that lands Animosity right on the
steel steps. Evan hops onto the barricade in front of Animosity and missle dropkicks
him in the face. Spire rolls Animosity back into the ring and goes for the pin.
1
2 Ian Hensley pulls Spire off Animosity and to the outside. Ian
takes a swing at Evan, but Evan ducks and hits a modified rear naked choke drop.
Evan rolls back into the ring and is met with right hands from Animosity. The
big man goes to whip Spire into the ropes, but he reverses the Irish whip. As
Animosity rebounds from the ropes, hes met with a roundhouse kick to the
chest. Animosity tries to get back to his feet quickly, but Evan gets behind
him and hits a tiger suplex. He maintains the hold and hits another. Evan rolls
and hits a third, bridging for the pin.
1
2
3 Wait! Animosity
just kicked out as the referees hand was about to hit the ground!)
HS: Damn! Evan Spire almost had him!
FJ: That clearly shows the resiliency and the determination of Animosity.
ZEAL: Tsk tsk tsk.
(Evan Spire rolls onto his back and closes his eyes in frustration. Ian Hensley
takes the opportunity to come down with a frog splash onto Evan Spire and go
for the pin.
1
2 Evan kicks out. Both men get to their feet. Ian
punches Spire repeatedly and whips him into the ropes, catching him with a rolling
wheel kick on the rebound. Evan gets back up and is caught by Ian in a belly
to belly hold. Ian flips Evan over him and grabs his head for a fallaway neckbreaker.
Evan grips his neck in pain. Hensley gets him to his feet and, seeing Animosity
ascending the turnbuckles, whips Evan at the bigger man. Evan slams into the
turnbuckle, sending Animosity into a compromising position. As Evan stumbles
out of the corner, Hensley sends him head over heels with a hurricanrana. Hensley
gets up onto the top turnbuckle with Animosity and hooks his head and leg. The
he lifts and hits a nasty fisherman DDT from the top rope. Hensley gets up slowly
and drags the bigger man farther away from the turnbuckle before hopping to
the top again. He pauses for a moment to wave to the crowd, but thats
all Evan Spire needs. Spire hops up behind Hensley and locks in a rear waistlock.
The he hits a release German suplex off the top rope, sending Hensley flying
through the air. Hensley backflips from the force of Spires throw and
ends up landing on Animosity as if hed moonsaulted onto him. All three
men lay stunned on the ground for a moment, but soon they begin to slowly make
their way to their feet.)
HS: All three of these men have pulled out all the stops in this match.
FJ: I cant believe theyre still alive. Especially Ian after hitting
his head on the barricade.
ZEAL: I dont think theres anything up there to damage.
HS: Regardless, theyre putting it all on the line here at Classic. A
win during the greatest spectacle of the AWA can only send one of these rookies
careers into the stratosphere.
(Evan Spire is the first to his feet. He limps over to Animosity, who is on
his knees. He begins to grab his head, but suddenly Animosity slides under Evans
grip and shows him that its Time to Shine!)
FJ: Yes! Its over! Its over!
HS: Dammit! Animosity was playing possum!
ZEAL: Finally using his damn vaunted brain.
(For a moment, Animosity lays there as if hed used the last of his energy
to hit that move. Slowly, he turns Evan over and pins him.
1
2 Hensley
dives in, just in time. Ian backs Animosity into the corner with a series of
punches, chops, and kicks. After a nasty jumping reverse kick to the chin, Animosity
slumps in the corner. Hensley almost literally vibrates with energy as he pumps
himself up. He turns around to run to the opposite corner, but Evan Spire is
right behind him, grabs his head, and Disconnects him!)
FJ: Evan Spire just Disconnected Ian Hensleys brain from the rest of
his body.
ZEAL: Something tells me that it been that way for a while.
(Evan Spire goes for the pin.
1
2 Animosity falls down on top of
Evan and Hensley, disrupting the count. Animosity gets to his feet before Evan
does and knees him in the gut and tosses him out of the ring. Animosity slowly
climbs to the top of the rope and draws his thumb across his throat. Animosity
flies off the top rope with a 450 splash onto Ian Hensley!)
HS: Oh my God! What a move by Animosity!
(The referee counts
1
2
3! He holds up Animositys limp
arm and calls for the bell. It doesnt ring, however, since the time keeper
has all her attention on Paul Forbes. The referee yells at her and she looks
up startled and rings the bell. Here Comes the Pain blares over
the sound system to accompany the boos from the crowd.)
FJ: Animosity held nothing back for Classic! Tonight will mark the beginning
of the Age of Animosity!
ZEAL: Well see about that. Thank you, gentlemen, for your time tonight.
(Zeal gets up and removes the headset. He walks over to Evan Spire who is being
attended to by Paul Forbes. Zeal rears back and kicks Spire in the face, knocking
him back down, before rolling in the ring. The crowd boos the newcomer. Ian
Hensley had been pulled out of the ring by Jesse, leaving Animosity in there
alone. Animosity works his way to his feet. Zeal turns him around and locks
in a mandible claw, turning the crowds boos into cheers and halting the
music. He tightens the hold for a moment before kicking him in the stomach.
As Animosity doubles over, Zeal maintains the mandible claw and grabs his head
in the manner for a Stunner. He jumps up and completes the move with the mandible
claw still intact. New Skin by Incubus plays as Zeal gets back to
his feet with blood on his hand. Animosity lays on the mat in pain, spitting
a little blood from his mouth. Zeal rolls out of the ring, holding his wounded
hand, smiling through the pain. He takes a towel from one of the ring crew and
calmly climbs back over the barricade into the crowd.)
HS: He attacked Evan Spire.
FJ: And Animosity.
HS: What is Zeal up to?
FJ: Nothing. He didnt finish the job with Animosity. Hes not going
to be able to do anything except say a prayer before Animosity hunts him down
and destroys him.
HS: That may be. But despite that attack, Animosity is still the victor tonight!
(We cut to a short commercial for the upcoming Best of EE DVD. We return and
"Make Me Bad" by Korn starts blaring over the speaker system and theres
a HUGE heat from the crowd as Judgment walks out of the backstage area alongside
the rest of the Blueprint squad. The crowd starts booing them all fairly hard
but they pay no attention to that and keep their tracks towards the ring. Judgment
slides in the ring as the rest of the Blueprint members stay outside.)
FJ Whats wrong with these people? Why are they booing the Blueprint
they MUST show some respect!
HS: I wonder why?
(As "Make Me Bad" fades, "Elite" by Deftones starts blasting
through the P.A. system and the crowd jumps on their feet and start cheering
and applauding as Adam Bawm is seen walking out. Right after him is Bryan Peek
looking more focused than ever and staring at Judgment whos in the ring
waiting for him)
HS: Looks like Bryan Peeks hatred for Judgment hasnt cooled down
one bit.
FJ: Didnt he had enough on Shock? He almost killed the poor guy! What
did he do to deserve this?
HS: Umm, judgment just hurt his cousin, tat all
nothing else.
FJ: Is that it? Come on!
(Then, after Bryan Peek comes out, Rico Marcetti and Dark Angel are seen walking
through the curtains to the delight of the crowd. Bryan just walks straight
towards the ring as Adam slaps fans hands and hugs with one of them holding
a sign that reads Adam Bawm for Brazilian Presidency.
Rico and Selena just look on. Bryan suddenly slides in the ring and gets it
on with Judgment before the referee officially starts the match up.)
HS: Theyre already going at it and none of them want to waste time!
FJ: Yeah, like this advantage is going to do Peek any good.
(Judgment and Bryan trade rights and lefts and eventually Bryan takes the advantage
over a hurt Judgment and the bell rings after the referees order.)
FJ: They should cancel this match! Judgment is not a hundred percent from last
Sunday!
HS: Yeah, whatever.
(Bryan send Judgment springing towards the ropes and receives him with a running
clothesline. Outside, A.I. stands next to one side of the ring as the Blueprint
members stand on the opposite side. Bryan pulls Judgment up by the mask and
starts kicking him in the stomach. Judgment finally takes a little boost and
nails Bryan with a vicious clothesline sending his head pounding against the
canvas.)
HS: Oh, what power!
FJ: You know better than to just say that. You know how Judgment is.. hes
a monster and thats why the Blueprint wanted him on their side.
(Judgment grabs a hold on Bryans left leg and starts pounding on it with
his foot.)
HS: Uh oh
Ill have to admit Judgment has a good strategy for this
match. Work on the leg so Bryan can be weakened and unable to defend himself
later on in the match.
FJ: Good thing you admit it yourself. Its an awesome strategy!
(Bawm starts pounding on the mat giving Bryan moral strength but Judgment has
total control of the match right now. Judgment applies a Figure Four Leg Lock
on Bryan and hes screaming in pain. You can see a huge smile on C-Rocks
face as Bryan screams in pain. Adam turns towards the crowd and starts clapping
his hands in the air to taunt the crowd. The Brazilian crowd starts clapping
their hands together and chanting BRYAN-PEEK. BRYAN-PEEK
all in unison. Bryan starts fighting back but his leg is hurting somewhat.)
HS: The referee is checking on Bryan to see if hes giving up
FJ: He gave up! Ive seen it!
HS: You and who else? Besides
Bryan Peek is fighting back! Judgment cant
believe it!
(Bryan starts reversing the hold on Judgment little by little and he makes
it! Bryan Peek reverses the lock on Judgment and now Judgment is the one screaming
in pain! The referee checks on Judgment when suddenly, C-Rock slides in the
ring and kicks Bryan across the leg making Bryan let go of the hold.)
HS: Oh no, this is going to turn ugly now.
FJ: Look! Its Dave Santini! Our beloved commissioner is standing over
there at the top of the ramp!
HS: Oh no. I dont think hes going to interfere anyway. He knows
he has a match against Bawm in just a little bit.
(Then, Adam Bawm slides in the ring and starts trading punches with C-Rock.
Then, Dark Warrior gets inside too and so does Rico Marcetti. Dark Warrior and
Marcetti starts trading punches but Warrior gets the advantage and tosses Marcetti
outside the ring over the top rope and the crowd start booing at him. Poppa,
whos outside, runs towards Marcetti and starts kicking him in the gut.
Dark Warrior grabs Adam from behind and applies a reverse DDT on him. C-Rock
and Judgment start double teaming on Bryan Peek as Adam and Dark Warrior take
it to the outside.)
HS: This already got ugly. Its a war out here!
FJ: And guess whos taking the match? Do you still think A.I. has chance
against the Blueprint?
(C-Rock puts Bryan in a Power bomb position lifts him up and Judgment grabs
him from his shoulder and WHAM! Bryans back slams really hard against
the canvas and the crowd starts booing once again. Meanwhile, outside, Selena
heads to the announcers table and grabs a steel chair!)
FJ: Damn, shes fine! Just look at her face, her body, her
!
HS: Hey, his fiancé is out here just a few feet from us and youre
looking at her like nothing happened?
FJ: Hey, a guy has his rights to
HS: Selena is sliding in the ring with the chair! Whats she going to
do?
(Selena aims at C-Rocks head but he realizes at the last second and grabs
the chair from Selena. He smiles at her and swings the chair but Selena sidesteps
him and gives him around house kick to C-Rocks face making him fall back
and the chair hit him in the head! Selena walks up to Judgment and OH! Sweet
Chin Music to Judgments jaw and Judgment falls back like a ton of bricks.)
HS: Looks like her job is done. Shes leaving the ring and heads towards
her fiancé who has the advantage over Poppa.
FJ: Is she his bodyguard or something? Shes not helping out at all!
HS: Selena only helps Rico out when she feels hes in the need of help.
(Back in the ring, all three men are down and Bryan is the first one to get
to his feet. Bryan hasnt seen the chair yet and C-Rocks holding
his head in pain. Bryan walks towards Judgment and starting pounding on him.
Bryan picks Judgment up and hes about to go for the Peek Culture and the
crowd goes nuts! Bryan picks Judgment up but C-Rock breaks the sequence and
kicks Bryan in the back then applies the Equalizer!)
FJ: Its the Equalizer! C-Rock just hit the Equalizer on Bryan Peek! I
love it!
(C-Rock pulls Judgment up and sets him on top of Bryan and the ref drops on
the mat for the count: 1...2
3
no! Bryan kicked out at the last second!
And C-Rock gets frustrated. C-Rock grabs the chair, raises it to hit Bryan but
what!? An unknown person jumps out of the crowd and slides in the ring and starts
hammering on C-Rock to the delight of the Brazilian crowd while Judgment has
no idea whats going on behind him.)
FJ: Whos that? He cant do that! A fanatic! SECURITY!
HS: I know Ive seen him somewhere before but I have no idea where
(Judgment pulls Bryan up by the hair and sends him springing towards the ropes,
tries a clothesline but Bryan sidesteps him and nails him with a nasty kick
to the chin but they both lay on the mat motionless. The crowd is going crazy
as the new guy sends C-Rock flying over the top rope with a catapult. The guy
slowly walks towards Judgment, pulls him up grabbing him from the top of the
mask and literally drags him towards one of the corners. With his back towards
the turnbuckle, he picks up Judgment over his left shoulder with so ease...
The crowd cant believe it!)
HS: What power! I cant believe he picked up Judgment like that.
FJ: Hes interfering in the match
he cant do that!
HS: YOU cant! Hes already doing it.
(The crowd looks in awe as the guy climbs the bottom turnbuckle, then the second
one. He tries to get Bryans attention but Bryan is barely moving. Outside,
Poppa tosses Marcetti towards the guardrail nailing him in the back pretty nasty.)
FJ: Thats going to leave a mark.
HS: What is it with you? The crowd isnt enjoying what theyre seeing
outsid
OH MY GOD! Dark Angel just nailed Poppa with a vicious round house
kick to the skull!
FJ: No! Thats not fair, he wasnt paying attention!
(Selena checks on Rico whose twisting in pain on the concrete floor. Back in
the ring, the new guy wasted time on what he was going to do and C-Rock, whos
standing on the ring apron, nails him with a closed fist in the back of the
head. The guy drops Judgment and turns around to start nailing C-Rock in the
torso with vicious punches. C-Rock drops down and the guy heads towards Bryan,
helps him up and Bryan, without realizing who it is, pushes him off of him and
throws a punch. The guy ducks it and holds Bryan by the wrists shaking him back
and forth and the guy starts yelling at him
)
GUY: Look at me, Bryan. Its me! Andy!
(Bryan looks at him in shock and then hugs him really hard and lets go
real quick.)
HS: Looks as if hes seen a ghost. Bryan Peek came back to life!
(Bryan points towards Judgment and Andy nods with his head. They start double
teaming on Judgment while Dark Warrior has the advantage on Bawm outside.)
FJ: What is Bawm doing out here anyway? Hes got a match against Santini
in just a little bit! Besides he doesnt have the right to interfere in
a match this big.
HS: Technically he DOES have the right, just like the Blueprint. Hes
helping his partner out
wait; I have information on the man whos
in the ring with Bryan
hes
oh!
(Andy powerbombs Judgment onto the mat making the ring shake. Then, Bryan stands
in the middle of the ring as Andy does the same thing before dropping Judgment.
Picks him up over his left shoulder and climbs the two turnbuckles facing towards
the ring. Andy looks dead towards the crowd and signals hes going to do
something. The crowd approves whatever hes going to do and OH! He hits
a Dominator off the second rope and the ring shakes under them as Judgments
body hits the canvas!)
HS: Thats the x-ecution! Thats the x-ecution!
FJ: How do you know all this?
(The crowd starts a Holy Shit chant as Bryan slowly walks towards
Judgment and makes the while Andy looks out for anyone who wants to interfere.
The crowd counts along with the referee: 1
2
3! Rico Marcetti, Selena
Kwon and Bawm quickly slide in the ring under the bottom rope as the referee
raises Bryans hand high in the air and the crowd goes crazy!)
HS: Bryan Peek did it thanks to the help of this Andy guy!
FJ: Thats not fair! Judgment had the match until he showed up.
(Bryan turns towards Andy and gives him a big, strong hug as the other A.I.
members look in confusion while they look to see if any Blueprint members try
to get in the ring. Dave Santini is seen standing at the top of the ramp with
a very pissed off face as Elite by Deftones starts blasting over
the P.A. system. The crowd is going crazy chanting A.I. at all times.
Finally, all 4 Blueprint members, except for Judgment, start clearing the ringside
area and start going back towards the back but stop next to Santini whos
looking dead at Adam Bawm inside the ring.)
FJ: No, thats not fair! Santinis the commissioner! They cant
do that to him!
HS: What are you talking about! They had the right to do it. Santini called
it a no DQ match and thats what he got. Judgment is lying in the middle
of the ring unconscious and the crowd loves it.
FJ: Peeks asking for a mic
what does he want now?
(As Bryan gets the mic, Elite by Deftones starts fading slowly. Bryan raises
the mic to his mouth and his tiredness is obviously seen. He has his arm around
Andys back at all times.)
BRYAN PEEK: Hey Dave
dont be so mad cause your plan didnt
work, after all, it was a no DQ match, right? Let me assure you that this stable
war is far from over, trust me. Whatever your plan is, whatever you think is
going to make us give up, well figure it out and mess it all up
Davey, take a look around you. These Brazilians are A.I. followers and what
you just witnessed in here, is just a little taste of whats going down
in the next few months!
(The crowd cheers loudly and A.I. gets a huge pop.)
PEEK: You know who this is? Have you ever seen him before, Dave?
(The camera shows an angle of Santinis face looking dead at them and
cursing under his breath. The angle switches back to Bryan Peek)
PEEK: Are you sure? You never saw him walking around the AWA offices? Hes
my younger brother, Andy Peek!
HS: I knew it! I had information over here that it was him!
FJ: What? Are you crazy? When did he join the AWA!
HS: I dont know but the crowd loves every minute of it.
(Adam walks up to Andy and gives him a friendly hug while Marcetti just shakes
his hand in approval. Bryan cant hide the big smile in his face as well
as Andy.)
PEEK: Didnt you just see how he handled Judgment in here? Im sure
the crowd did!
(Bryan points towards the crowd as they undoubtedly cheer A.I. on. The camera
shows Judgment lying in the middle of the ring as A.I. celebrates Bryans
victory. Bawm takes off his A.I. shirt and gives it to Andy Peek. He takes it,
shows it to the sold out crowd and puts it on. Hands the mic to Adam who looks
to be wanting to say something to Rio de Janeiro. Adam takes the mic and raises
to his mouth...)
ADAM BAWM: "Hey, Santini. Don't look so surprised up there. Who did you
expect, L.J. Vacamas? Listen here, Davey Boy, what the Peek's did here to Judgement
is only a drop in the hat to what I'm going to put you through tonight, right
here, live, in front of the thousands of Brazilian ADAMANIACS!"
(Bawm spins around with his arms wide, showcasing the crowd who cheer him on)
BAWM: "Don't you miss that, Dave? There was once a time where people cheered
you on too. It was great, wasn't it? But that's in the past. And it seems to
me that you'll never hear another cheer for as long as you live, Santini. It's
too late for you. And tonight, I'm going to prove to the world the validity
of that statement. NUFF SAID!"
(As the crowd erupts in cheers, Adam hands the mic back to Bryan. Bryan quickly
raises the mic towards his mouth and looks towards the Blueprint members standing
on the ramp
)
PEEK: Guys, keep this in mind
to live no more, is to live again!
(Then, Elite by Deftones starts blasting again as the A.I. members congratulate
and welcome their newest members. The shot shows the Bluerprint members yelling
at Annihilation Inc inside the ring. Dave Santini is about to walk down the
ramp but C-Rock and Poppa stop him. Dave curses at them pointing at them at
all times while in the ring, they all stand over a fallen Judgment)
HS: This is just what happened a couple of weeks ago when Judgment betrayed
Bryan Peek in the number one contendership match for the Tag Team titles.
FJ: Well, this is not a pretty sight.
HS: What are you saying? YOURE not a pretty sight. This is just what
the Blueprint did when Judgment busted Bryan Peeks head open with the
crutch and then they welcomed him into the Blueprint. As they say, paybacks
a biatch!
FJ: Can you say that on TV? He said that b word on TV!
(The camera cuts to the back where Snakebite is doing sit-ups to warm up for
his World title match tonight, as Nadia looks on.
We cut back to the ring where Rebecca Starr is already in the ring looking
towards the entrance ramp awaiting her opponents.)
HS: Rebecca Starr is already in the ring, and here comes the other challenger.
(Wanksta, by 50 Cent begins to play and Lady C and Tim The
Giant come out from the back. The crowd begins to cheer as the two make
their way down the aisle towards the ring.)
FJ: I think the Rio de Janeiro crowd is firmly behind Lady C tonight.
HS: But what kind of influence will Tim The Giant play in this
match-up?
FJ: I dont know. NPD has been riding the straight and narrow lately,
so I dont think hell interfere at all. Im surprised hes
even out here with the big match-up he has later on tonight.
HS: Lady C says NPD will be IMPREGNABLE after tonight. Can you spell impregnable
Frank?
FJ: Uhhhh . . .
(Tim The Giant helps Lady C into the ring and Rebecca Starr and
her glare at each other as Wanksta, is cut off by Vivrant
Thing, by Q-Tip. Rebecca Starr and Lady C look to the entrance way as
Lusftul Laura appears and begins to walk down the aisle. The Rio de Janeiro
crowd erupts at the reigning AWA Womens Champion.)
HS: Lustful Laura has been the AWA Womens Champion since April, and she
actually beat that woman, Rebecca Starr, for the vacant title. Is tonight her
last night as champion?
(She takes her time getting to the ring and then gets up on the apron. She
allows the referee to hold the ropes open for her. She slips into the ring and
takes off the Womens Title and hands it to the referee. He then shows
it to the two challengers and holds it up in the air. Suddenly, "I Am With
Name" begins to play and Ramona A. Stone walks out from the curtain to
the loud boos of the fans with a microphone in her hand.)
RAMONA: Well, well, well, if those aren't the three bitches of the dead division?
Listen up, girls, because this is the Queen Bitch talking to you. I know for
a fact that Rebecca Starr has no chance of winning this travesty. And pretty
much the same goes for Lady C. How many chances will you need to take that title
off of that worthless, brainless bimbo, huh?
Anyway, while I'm sure I know the outcome already, you never know what can
happen in the AWA. So whoever wins this match, Ramona A. Stone challenges you
to a title match next Sunday night on Shock.
(Ramona drops the microphone and heads to the back again. As she does this,
Lustful Laura sprints across the ring and delivers a Lariat clothesline to Rebecca
Starr.)
FJ: Oh my God! What a powerful clothesline from such a small girl. Well, I
guess shes not that small in some areas.
HS: Focus on the match Frank!
FJ: But theyre women. Beautiful women.
(The referee motions for the bell to start the match. Lady C grabs Lustful
Lauras hair and pulls her down to the mat. Laura lets out a shriek before
hitting the mat hard. Lady C doesnt let go of her hair and pulls her up
and throws her down to the mat by hair again. Rebecca Starr gets up and backhands
Lady C. Rebecca Starr grabs her and throws her into the ring ropes. Lady C comes
back with a dropkick, which sends Rebecca Starr to the outside of the ring.
Lady C gets up off the mat from her dropkick and is met by some knife edge chops
by Lustful Laura. Lady C backs up with each knife edge chop. Lady C backs all
the way into the corner of the ring and Laura begins to punch away at Lady C
Road Dogg style, but before she lands the last punch, she blows Lady C a kiss.
Lady C collapses in the corner of the ring. Laura begins to stomp on Lady C.
Rebecca Starr slips back into the ring underneath the ring ropes.)
HS: Rebecca Starr has snuck up behind Laura.
(Rebecca Starr grabs Lauras hair from behind and plants her down with
an inverted DDT.)
FJ: Everyones grabbing Lauras hair. They must be jealous of her
blonde hair!
(Rebecca Starr begins to slap Lustful Laura, but is interrupted by Lady C,
who pulls her off Lustful Laura and takes her down to the mat with a bulldog.
Laura is fighting to get up after the inverted DDT as Lady C delivers a belly-to-belly
suplex to Rebecca Starr. She then begins to stomp Rebecca. Lustful Laura gets
up and joins Lady C in stomping the downed Starr. Laura stops stomping with
Lady C and clotheslines her. Lady C doesnt fall, she only backs into the
ring ropes, so Laura clotheslines her again, this time over the top rope. Lady
C takes a bad fall onto the arena floor. Laura picks up Rebecca Star and lands
a jawbreaker.)
HS: Ohhh, you know what shes setting up!
FJ: Hollywoods Falling Star!!
(Rebecca Star grabs her jaw and creeps into the arms of Lustful Laura who then
lands the Hollywoods Falling Star. The crowd erupts as Laura makes the
cover. 1! . . . 2! . . . 3!)
HS: And Rebecca Starr has been eliminated from this match, but remember the
winner is the last lady standing. Lady C and Laura are the only two left now.
(Tim The Giant is attending to Lady C who has finally got up off
the arena floor. Laura takes in the crowds adulation as Tim The
Giant tells Lady C to get back into the ring. Lady C looks back into the
ring just as Laura has nailed a baseball slide to her. Lady C, hit from the
impact of Lauras baseball slide, crashes into the ring barricade. Laura
uses the ring ropes to pull herself up and remains in the ring. She then gets
up on the top rope.)
HS: What is she planning?
(Laura puts her hands on her head and does the Valbowski shake with her body.
The crowd cheers loudly.)
HS: Shes just playing to the crowd.
FJ: Oh no shes not!
(Laura leaps off the top rope and lands a perfect Money Shot onto Lady C on
the arena floor. Lustful Laura grabs her ribs as Lady C turns over in agony.)
HS: Oh my God!!
FJ: Crazy!
(Lustful Laura grabs on the ring apron to pull herself up and slides underneath
the ring ropes into the ring. Tim The Giant helps Lady C up, but
she doubles over and falls onto the arena floor again. Laura uses the ring ropes
to stand up inside the ring, but when she sees Lady C still on the arena floor,
she drops down and rolls to the outside. She picks Lady C up and throws her
into the ring underneath the ring ropes. She then follows her into the ring.
Lustful Laura covers Lady C.)
HS: 1! . . . 2! . . . 3 . . . No!! Lady C got her shoulder up at the last second!
(Lustful Laura picks Lady C up by her hair and delivers a snap suplex. She
holds onto her and stands up and delivers another snap suplex. Laura picks her
up one last time and delivers another snap suplex. She springs over Lady C on
the last snap suplex and covers her. 1! . . . 2! . . . Lady C kicked out. Laura
picks her up by her hair again and hits the jawbreaker. Lady C falls to the
mat.)
FJ: She may have put too much on that jawbreaker!
(Laura goes to pick Lady C up, but Lady C rolls her up into a small package.
1! . . . 2! . . . Laura kicked out at the last second. Laura gets up immediately
and Lady C staggers up and Laura nails the Hollywoods Falling Star. The
crowd erupts. She then covers Lady C. 1! . . . 2! . . . 3!)
HS: Lustful Laura pulled out all the stops and retained the AWA Womens
Title!! What a match!! Is she unstoppable or what?! Who is going to uncrown
her?
FJ: Hallo? Didn't you see Ramona just challenging the winner of this match?
HS: Yeah, and I'd rather...
FJ: Shut up, I don't care.
(A commercial plays hyping next months pay-per-view, AWA Last Man Standing
2003. We return and Big Poppa, by Notorious B.I.G. begins to play
and the camera moves to the aisle.)
FJ: Oooh! Ive been looking forward to this match all week! The match
was added at Sunday Night Shock one week ago, but the intensity between these
two men apparently has been building for months.
HS: Yeah, no one expected when Poppa returned that he would have it out for
his former tag team partner F-Bomb, but hes not too happy with him. Notorious
is no more, but how does this affect the entire Blueprint. C-Rock has been more
than silent on the issue, so it should be interesting to see how things work
out.
(Poppa walks out onto the aisle to loud boos wearing dark blue basketball shorts,
white basketball shorts, and a sleeveless maroon T-shirt that reads, Poppa
on the front and, Epitome of Physical Fitness, on the back in white
letters. Poppa grew out his hair and its bleach-blonde and short again.
Hes wearing earrings as well. He begins to make his way down to the ring.
He takes off his sleeveless T-shirt and throws it into the crowd. A fan balls
it up and throws it back at Poppa. It lands on his right pectoral and slides
off. Poppa stops walking and stares the fan down. He turns to face the fan and
simply holds his arms out to the side, as if to say, Bring it! The
fan eats it up and acts like he goings to jump the railing. Poppa puts his left
hand up to backhand the fan, but instead shakes his head and turns back to the
ring. He slides into the ring underneath the ring ropes and begins to hit the
ropes, running back and forth in the ring.)
FJ: Poppa looks impressive! I think he may of put on some more muscle during
his leave of absence.
HS: Poppas neck was broken by all of the members of NPD, and has made
a speedy recovery. We didnt expect to see Poppa back in the ring until
around Wrestlefest!
FJ: And I dont think F-Bomb did either!
(Big Poppa, is cut off by the chords of the White Stripes
Seven Nation Army, as the camera moves back to the entrance way.
F-Bomb comes out from the back with Tiffany to a pretty good amount of cheers
from the crowd.)
HS: Well, I guess we know who the fans are behind.
(F-Bomb is wearing dark denim jeans, a sleeveless white T-shirt, and Timberland
boots, while Tiffany is wearing sparkling baby blue tight, low-cut in the back
pants, and a matching top. The two stop and F-Bomb pulls a microphone from his
back pocket. Seven Nation Army, stops playing.)
F-BOMB: Before I step into the ring with my former tag team partner, I want
to take this time to dedicate this match to my girlfriend Tiffany. Here on the
biggest night of the AWA, at the biggest event of the year, Id like to
beat that monster for the girl I truly love. Shortly after joining the AWA,
me and Poppa hit a losing streak and I was pinned night after night, but this
girl turned it all around and took me and Poppa to the AWA Tag Team Titles in
no time. Poppa, you didnt carry Notorious! Tiffany did, and you never
wanted to admit that, but tonight Im going to make you admit it! Youre
upset because me and Tiffany won the tag titles without you. Well, we could
have done it the first time without you too! Poppa, youre nothing but
a muscle-headed freak! Youre nothing but a . . .
(F-Bomb throws down the microphone and charges the ring because Poppa slide
to the outside and began running up the entrance ramp towards. The crowd cheers
as the two men meet each other. F-Bomb throws a right and the big man falls
back. F-Bomb lands another and another. He hits one more on him and Poppa backs
into the ring. F-Bomb grabs Poppa by the head and runs him into the ring post,
driving his head into the ring post. Poppa slides down the ring post and F-Bomb
walks around the ring towards the timekeeper. He demands for him to get up and
grabs the chair he was sitting on. He folds it up and returns to where Poppa
is lying. He swings back and attempts to hit Poppa in the head with steel chair
as Poppa rests his head against the ring post. Poppa moves his head slightly
and the chair nails the ring post!)
HS: He would have decapitated him! No love lost between these two! Where did
all these hatred stem from?
FJ: Have you not been paying attention? Poppa carried Notorious and he wants
to prove that here tonight.
HS: Well, right now F-Bomb is making a stake to that claim!
(F-Bomb drops the steel chair on the arena floor and then grabs Poppas
head. He then drops down and DDTs him onto the steel chair. The fans erupt.
F-Bomb then straddles Poppa and begins to punch him on the head. F-Bomb gets
up and holds his arms up to the crowd and they cheer him on. F-Bomb then returns
to Poppa, but Poppa kicks him off and gets up. Poppa grabs him and bodyslams
him onto the arena floor. The referee pleads with Poppa to put F-Bomb into the
ring and start the match, but Poppa refuses. The referee stresses him some more
and Poppa reaches back and nails him with a huge right. The referee falls to
the arena floor. Poppa picks F-Bomb up and chokeslams him onto the floor. He
then pulls up the protective padding on the arena floor and chucks it to the
side.)
HS: What is he planning here?
FJ: This cant be good!
(Poppa picks F-Bomb up and props him up on his shoulder.)
HS: Hes going for the Big Up!
(Tiffany takes off her high heel and runs at Poppa. Poppa drops F-Bomb to the
ground before Tiffany can hit him. Poppa grabs Tiffany by the hair and cocks
his right fist back. He holds it there as Tiffany shrieks.)
HS: He wouldnt . . . here comes C-Rock!!
(C-Rock hits the entrance ramp and sprints down to ringside. Poppa lets go
of Tiffany and she runs to C-Rock. Poppa pays no attention to the two and picks
F-Bomb up. He then picks F-Bomb up again and puts him up on his shoulders once
again, tempting a Big Up onto the bare concrete, arena floor. C-Rock walks over
to Poppa and demands him to put F-Bomb down. Poppa smiles and shakes his head
no. C-Rock grabs F-Bombs leg and tries to take him down off of Poppas
shoulders, but Poppa wont let him go. C-Rock and Tiffany plead with Poppa
and he finally slides F-Bomb off of his shoulders. F-Bomb stands next to Poppa
and all four are standing in front of each other. Then suddenly, C-Rock kicks
F-Bomb in the gut and throws his head in between his legs. The crowd erupts
in boos. He hooks F-Bombs arms and nails The Regulator onto the exposed
arena floor. Poppa smiles and even Tiffany smiles as well. Poppa and Tiffany
hug each other as the fans continue to boo.)
FJ: What in the world? C-Rock AND Tiffany have turned their back on F-Bomb!!
HS: What a shock!
(C-Rock picks F-Bomb up and throws him into the ring. Poppa slides in after
him and C-Rock motions for the back.)
HS: Whose he waving for? Well, here comes a referee!
(A referee sprints from the back and slides into the ring. The referee motions
for the bell to start the match and the bell rings.)
HS: What kind of referee would start the match now?
FJ: Thats no ordinary referee! Thats President Grays nephew!
Remember from Springs and Breaks! Hes doing The Blueprint a favor!
(Poppa picks F-Bomb up and props him up on his shoulders. This time he doesnt
hesitate one bit and lands the Big Up in the center of the ring. Poppa arrogantly
lays on his back on top of F-Bomb and holds his arms out as Robert Gray II begins
to make the count. 1! . . . 2! . . . 3!)
FJ: That may be the quickest match in AWA Classic history!
HS: What a travesty!
FJ: And I dont think they are done!
(C-Rock slides in the ring with a steel chair and Poppa picks F-Bomb up. Tiffany
steps into the ring. Poppa holds F-Bomb from behind and C-Rock nails F-Bomb
in the skull with the steel chair. Poppa still holds him and blood begins to
trickle down his forehead. Poppa turns F-Bomb around and hits another Big Up
on him. C-Rock drops the steel chair on the ground as Poppa wraps F-Bomb into
a camel clutch. Tiffany gets into the face of F-Bomb and blows a kiss and then
she slaps him. C-Rock punches him repeatedly before Poppa lets him collapse
to the mat. Poppa picks him up and puts him over his shoulder like a bag of
potatoes. He then steps through the ring ropes with F-Bomb on his shoulder and
drops down to the arena floor. He drops F-Bomb onto the arena floor and then
walks towards the ring steps.)
HS: Uhhh . . . whats he doing?
(Poppa separates the ring steps and places the bottom half in front of the
fallen F-Bomb. He then picks F-Bomb up and throws his head in between his legs.
He then picks him up and holds him up in the air.)
FJ: No!!!
HS: Hes going to kill him! Cougar Bomb! Cougar Bomb!!
(Poppa powerbombs F-Bomb onto the ringsteps but places him just so his upper
back and neck hits the ringsteps. F-Bomb lays motionless halfway on the steps,
halfway off as the fans look on in silence. They begin to boo as Poppa, Tiffany,
and C-Rock walk up the entrance ramp. EMTs rush down the entrance ramp
past the threesome and attend to F-Bomb.)
HS: This is not good!
FJ: Well, he said that he was going to be cashing checks and breaking necks,
and I think he may have just done the latter to F-Bomb!
(Backstage we see President Gray at his desk, looking nervous and making a
phone call via his cell phone. We then cut back to Herb and Frank.)
HS: Well ladies and gentlemen it is now time for our Hardcore Title match,
and it is to be contested within the confides of perhaps the most hellacious
structure the wrestling world has ever seen, Hell In A Cell.
FJ: Yeah, some one is going to get hurt, I like it!!!
HS: Well Folks were about ready to kick this thing off.
(The Cell is slowly Lowered from a giant Crane outside the arena, it is being
lowered into place. The crane sets the cell down and the ring crew begins to
reinforce, they finish up and make their way to the back "Somewhere I Belong"
Hit's the speakers and Aaron Mathewson steps through the curtain to a large
response from the capacity crowd. He makes his way down the aisle and steps
into the Cell, and then into the ring, he goes to his corner and stares up the
aisle with a look of intensity in his eyes. Aaron's music cuts out and a few
seconds of silence falls over the arena before "What' This Life For"
Hits and Jayson Price steps out from behind the curtain to a large pop from
the crowd, he also has a look of intensity on his face as he makes
his way to the ring. He steps into the cage and looks around at his surroundings
and a smirk comes across his face. He climbs into the ring and stares at Mathewson
who intern stares right back. The two men stand eyes locked momentarily untill
"The thing that should not be" begins to play and Death Angel steps
from behind the curtain and stands in the aisle as the crowd explodes into a
barage of boo's, Death Angel taunts them a bit and then makes his way down the
aisle. He enters the cage and then slides into the ring and looks around at
the other two men, The ref takes the belt from Death Angel and holds it up for
all to see, he then takes it to the outside and locks the cage and the bell
rings.)
HS: Well here we go, I must warn you folks if you are at all squeamish you
may want to change the channel, because you are sure to see things that would
turn even the strongest stomach.
FJ: Yeah, I cant wait, Ha Ha Someone is gonna get hurt, Hell In A Cell is great.
HS: If you wanna see someone get hurt so bad why don't you go down there and
get in the ring?
FJ: Well... Nah
(The three men just stand there momentarily trading glances until Price begins
to charge Death Angel. Angel goes for a big boot but Price ducks and goes right
underneath, then turns and catches him with a hard left hand to the chin, followed
by a right and then another left. Angel stumbles back a step and Price goes
to swing again but is blindsided by a violent Clothesline courtesy of Mathewson.
Angel then Reaches out and Grabs Mathewson by the back of the head and raises
his knee into his stomach and then pounds him with a double Ax-Handle dropping
him to the ground. He then turns and Picks Up Price and whips him into the ropes
and follows him in with a clothesline sending him to Outside Pinning him between
the Cell and the ring ropes. Death Angel then turns back to Mathewson, but as
he does he is caught with a big boot. Mathewson then grabs Death Angel by the
head and lifts him back to his feet and delivers a hanging Vertical Suplex.
As Mathewson gets to his feet he sees Price getting back into the ring, as soon
as he steps back in he is met with a hard left hand from Mathewson. Mathewson
then grabs him and nails a power bomb and then another and finally a third,
after the third Aaron hangs on to go for a pin 1....2... No Price kicks out.
Mathewson Again lifts Price to his feet and hooks him and raises him up for
a hanging Verticle Suplex. As he gets Price up Death Angel nails Mathewson with
a spear as Mathewson is hit he drops price who land awkwardly, Death Angel Then
climbs to his feet and looks at the down and hurt Mathewson. He then climbs
to the top rope and leaps dropping his knee right into the face of Mathewson.
Death Angel rolls way and climbs back to his feet, and makes his way over to
the still downed Jayson Price. Angel Picks him up and tosses him to the turnbuckle,
and then follows him in and begins to choke him out. The choke continues for
about ten seconds, Death Angel then releases the hold and lifts Price high in
the air with both hands around his throat, he tosses him against the cage back
first. Price falls to the mat and rolls back toward the centre of the ring.
Death Angel turns around and begins to make his way back over to Aaron Mathewson,
who is just now starting to get back up. Angel grabs him by the head but as
he does Mathewson hit's a low blow. Death Angel doubles over and Mathewson takes
advantage hitting him with a hard Double Ax-Handle between the shoulder blades
sending him to the mat. Mathewson then climbs to the top rope and comes off
with a big Leg drop to the back of the neck of Death Angels Neck. Mathewson
then pulls himself up and makes his way over to Price who is still downed. Mathewson
grabs Price by the head and delivers a Bulldog. Mathewson then rolls Price to
his back and covers. 1....2... Kick out.)
HS: My God How did Price manage to kick out there, he has had his ass kicked
and he still has the heart to kick out. Any normal man would have been done
long ago.
FJ: Well if he were smart he would just let himself get pinned, before the
real hell breaks loose.
HS: Do you honestly think Price would do that, this title means a lot to him,
there is no way he is going out unless he is either dead or close to it.
FJ: Well Death may not be far off.
(Matthewson has lifted Price back to his feet and has him in a claw hold, he
lifts him up for the southern Comfort Slam, but as he gets him up Death Angel
comes charging at them and puts his shoulder right into the back of Mathewson
Sending him and Price into the cage, with Death Angel still holding around Mathewson's
Waist the force of them all hitting the cell at once causes the side to peel
apart from the steel frame and the three men spill out to the floor. They all
lay there momentarily and the ref just kind of looks on not sure what to do,
then Death Angel begins to stir, followed shortly there after by Price, Mathewson
had nothing to brace his fall and hit the hardest. Angel Gets to his feet and
grabs a hold of Price by the back of the head and walks him over to the side
of the cell and begins to grind his face across the steel fencing. This busts
Price wide open Angel then grabs Price and gives him a Choke slam on the floor.
He turns back to Mathewson and grabs a hold of him and lifts him to his feet
and then hits him with a hard left hand, that knocks him down again. He again
lifts him and gain knocks him down. Angel then Grabs the Downed Mathewson by
the throat and lifts him to his feet and then keeps on going and lifts him high
into the air and drops him hard on his back with a choke slam on the steel ramp.
Angel then looks around and a sinister grin comes over his face, he begins to
walk around the cage stepping over the still down and out Price, he makes his
way to the other side of the ring and grabs a chair and begins to make his way
back around to his downed opponents. As he gets there he lifts Price to his
feet and leans him against the cell. Angel then swings at Price, who ducks and
rolls to the side, Angel turns to Price and raises the chair above his head,
and goes to swing at Price again, this time Price jumps and hit's the Chair
with a drop kick sending back into the face of Angel. Death Angel falls backward
and Price follows it up with another dropkick that knock Death Angel to his
back. Price climbs on the downed Death Angel and holds his fist up as if to
swing. He does not swing however but
stops and looks around and a smile comes over his face. He reaches down and
pulls a small Chain from his tights. He wraps it around his fist and then begins
to pound the chain into the Head of Death Angel, after about three shots the
blood begins to flow from Death Angels forehead. Price then holds the chain
on his forehead and begins to grind it into the already badly
bloody wound. Price is screaming at Death Angel, who is trying to push Price
off. Price does not see Mathewson who has now reached his feet and has the chair
that Death Angel brought over and he slams it into the back of Price's head.
The sound of the steel hitting Price can be heard through out the arena.)
HS: My god, he damn near took Prices Head off. This is getting bad folks, but
as bad as it is now it is only gong to get worse.
FJ: We can only hope. More Blood, More Blood
(Mathewson looks down at the bloody Angel who is laying on the ground, he then
takes the chair and holds it under his right arm and drops it onto the chest
of Death Angel. Mathewson then gets up and again drops onto Angel with the chair.
Mathewson again climbs to his feet and begins to stalk toward Price, he grabs
a hold of him and whips him hard back first into the Cell, Price cringes as
his back hit's the Steel. Mathewson then charges at Price, but Price drops down
grabs the front of Mathewsons tights and pulls him into the cage. Mathewson
falls and rolls over, then back. He is now bloody as well. By this time Death
Angel is just getting back to his feet as Price as coming back around to meet
him Price swings at Death Angel but misses and is spun around and pushed into
the barrier surrounding the ringside area. Price begins to fall backward and
Angel grabs him and drops him with a falling reverse DDT. Angel then lifts Price
to his feet and begins to drag him up the entrance ramp. Once at the top Angel
whips Price into one of the supports holding the big screen. Angel lifts him
to his feet and tosses him down the ramp. Price rolls almost all the way to
the bottom and is met there by Mathewson. Mathewson HIt's a belly to belly on
Price and follows it up with a couple of hard punches. The Death Angel grabs
Mathewson by the head and lifts him up and nails him with a sleeping neck breaker.
Angel then grabs Price and lifts him to his feet and sets him on the barrier.
Angel
then proceeds to peel up the mat on the outside of the ring. Angel then climbs
up onto the barrier and Hooks Price for the Callings Of the Cataclysmic. He
lifts him up and drops from the barrier to the concrete floor.)
HS: My god, My god, Price may not ever get up from that. And Look at Death
Angel he thinks its funny he is laughing for christ sake.
FJ: Well you said it you may have to kill him to beat him, and that would be
his killing right there.
(Death Angel then grabs Price and drags him back into the cell and into the
ring. He lays on top of him and covers. 1...2...3!!!!! Price is Eliminated.
Death Angel begins to laugh but stops suddenly as he hears Mathewson yelling
at him from outside the cage. Angel Jumps to his feet and glares at Mathewson.
Mathewson begins to climb the cell and Death Angel climbs out of
the ring and begins to climb after him. Mathewson reaches the top of the cell
followed shortly after by Death Angel. Mathewson hits Angel with a left and
then a right, Angel fires back with a right then a left, the men trade a few
more shots and Death Angel gets a slight advantage. And drops Mathewson with
a right hand. He then reaches into his tights and pulls out a long thin black
pipe. He waits for Mathewson to get up and as he does Angel drops him again
with the steel rod. Angel then climbs onto Mathewson and begins to smash the
rod into his bloody forehead. Angel then climbs to his feet and looks out into
the capacity crowd who are now screaming with excitement. Angel grabs Mathewson
and lifts him to his feet, he then holds Mathewson with one hand and makes the
Cut Throat Sign with his other. He then begins to press Mathewson over his head.)
HS: NO, Don't do it, he is gonna try the Calling of the Cataclysmic on top
of the cell, this will kill him. Oh god
FJ: Do it, He is trying to take your belt. Do it!!!
HS: Your sick Jackson, No one deserves what is about to happen.
FJ: Oh stop being such a sissy Summers, this is gonna be great.
(Angel press Mathewson over his head, but just before he is about to drop him
Mathewson slips down and lands on his feet. Angel turns around, and is caught
with a left hook and a right the another left and another right. Mathewson then
hooks Angel and gives him a Russian Leg sweep. But with the weight of the men
the Cage roof gives way, and both men fall through it and
drops hard on their backs into the ring. Niether man is moving even slightly
and the ref looks on at the two unmoving men.)
HS: Oh god, get some help out here, damnit get the EMT's these guys could be
seriously hurt
FJ: Well yo had to expect his, both of these men would have done anything to
win this match.
HS Well it does not look like either man is gonna be a winner tonight.
(Then as the Medical men are rushing to ring side both men begin to stir. Angel
pulls himself over to the ropes and slowly begins to pull himself up, as does
Mathewson on the opposite side, the men now on their feet begin to approach
each other and as they get within range Angel swings but misses, then Mathewson
whips him to the ropes and goes for a clohesline, but he
takes a clothesline at the same time, and once again both men are down and not
moving. Mathewson on his stomach and Angel on his back. Mathewson slides slightly
to his left and drapes his arm over Angel. The ref counts 1...2....3!!!!!!)
HS: My God, Matthewson has pulled it out, he is the new Hardcore champion,
but I don't know if he even realizes it yet, and if he does I don't think he
has any celebrating in his future.
FJ: What a match, look at the carnage, blood covering both men, and the ring.
The cell is torn apart and both men are down and not moving. This is great.
HS: Well folks Aaron Matthewson has pinned Death Angel and become the New AWA
Hardcore Champion, and he has done so in one of the most violent matches in
AWA History, this will be one that is not forgotten for years to come.
(The EMT's begin to work on the two men and both are assisted out, both walk,
but need help. A short video package recapping the feud of Whisper and The Fish,
and then later Javex Valerius, starts playing. The package ends with a still
shot of Javex, Whisper, Fish, the Cruiserweight and TV title belts and a ladder
before we cut back to the stadium.)
(B.O.B. by Outkast hits the speakers. The crowd gives mixed reactions to the
former Cruiserweight champion, Javex Valerius. He walks slowly and uncertainly
to the ring.)
HS: Wow! Im surprised he actually showed up tonight. Hes been so
quiet lately.
FJ: Thats his strategy, Herb. He psyches out his opponents by making
them think hes
hes
HS: Dead?
FJ: Exactly!
(Javex climbs through the Classic ropes. He looks up above him at the two hooks,
separated by about 4 feet. On one hook, the Television Title hangs, shining
in brilliance. The other hook bares the Cruiserweight Championship, the straps
of which are wrapped in velvet. Javex looks to one of the two ladders laid out
on the floor. The lights begin to flash various colors. A strange white lighting
effect bathes the arena, making everything look underwater. Javex turns towards
the expertly assembled Classic entryway. Trendy by Reel Big Fish
begins to ring out in the arena. The crowd cheers wildly for the oncoming Fish.
Two concussions explode with water on the stage, wetting some of the crowd closer
to the ramp, causing them to cheer even longer. After a moment of delay, The
Fish steps out of the back, pumping the crowd up with spins and arm raises.
The crowd eats it up, cheering every overdramatic superhero pose the Fish throws
at them. The Fish points bravely to the ring and dashes down the ramp, slapping
fans hands in the process. He slides into the ring and rolls to his feet. Javex
backs into one corner. The Fish looks at Javex before going back to piming the
crowd for this Pay Per View performance.)
HS: These fans love the Fish hes so great!
FJ: Oh come on, Herb. We know they only cheer Fish because they hate Whisper!
HS: No, they boo Whisper because they love the Fish!
FJ: No, they cheer-
(Frank stops as the lights go out. Blue flames ignite all the way down the
entrance ramp. The flames are low, only 10 inches tall. The arena is also washed
in an eerie blue light. A womans voice hauntingly chants throughout the
arena the opening to Evanescences Lies. The percussion starts
to hit and grow, slowly drowning the chanting. Suddenly the skip in the music
hits and the rock portion of the song kicks in
a mans voice sings
Bound at every limb by my shackles of fear
Sealed with lies through so many tears
Lost from within, pursuing the end
I fight for the chance to be lied to again
Whisper steps through the entryway. He wears his signature white leather pants
and his white hooded sweater. The hood is up over his head which is bowed slightly
forward. He steps onto the top of the ramp and pulls back his hood. He looks
around at the booing crowd. A few guys near the ramp cheer the rather original
entrance. As Amy Lee begins to sing her part, Whisper begins to walk, to the
beat, towards the ring.
You will never be strong enough
You will never be good enough
You were never conceived in love
You will not rise above
Whisper reaches the ring and climbs onto the apron. He watches The Fish and
Javex as he climbs through the ropes. The music starts to fade, the fire goes
down, and the lights return to normal. All three men stand in a triangle. Whisper
looks up at the Cruiserweight title. He mouths a few words that look like Im
coming, dont worry. The bell rings and the referee leaves the ring.
All three men stand there waiting for another to make a move. The crowd begins
to chant Fish! Fish! Fish! Fish! Fish! Finally, The Fish and Whisper
lock up. The push each other back and forth. Finally, Whisper wins the tie and
snapmares Fish over to the mat, and drops a dropkick to the back of his neck.
Whisper quickly gets to his feet, only to receive a running neckbreaker from
Javex. Javex quickly recovers and turns to catch a dropkick from Fish, sending
him to the mat. The Fish rolls around to his feet. The crowd cheers wildly.
The Fish moves to Whisper and lifts him off the match. Whisper throws Fishs
arms away and begins laying in punches. One punch
Two punches
Three
punches
Whisper drives Fish back to the ropes and whips him across the
ring. Fish comes flying back with a huge reverse elbows. Whisper falls back
to the mat, recovering right into the arms of The Fish. The Fish hip-tosses
Whisper over. Javex is up and springboards off the second rope as The Fish turns
around. The Fish catches Javex across the chest in a huge moonsaulting crossbody
block!)
HS: What an exchange! Any one of these men has what it takes to win!
FJ: Except The Fish.
HS: Youre hopeless.
FJ: So is he! Ha!
(Javex gets to his feet, only to be grabbed around the waist. Whisper cries
out as he lifts Javex overhead for a massive German suplex! Javex hits the mat
and clutches his head. Whisper gets up and starts to stomp Javex. The Fish is
up and runs at Whisper. An unsuspecting Whisper is spun wildly from the reverse
headscissors-takeover by The Fish! The crowd cheers. A seemingly surprised Whisper
quickly recovers. The Fish runs from behind Whisper again and tries for a second
reverse headscissors. He hops onto Whispers shoulders. Whisper grabs the
ropes for balance. The Fish hangs upside-down on Whispers back for a moment.
Finally he pulls up onto his shoulders and begins pounding down on the head
of Whisper. Whisper takes a hit
another
another
Finally, Whisper
drops The Fish face-first into the turnbuckle!)
FJ: Electric Chair onto the turnbuckle! What a move! Go Whisper!
HS: He doesnt like you, you know?
FJ: Sure he does
GO WHISPER!
HS: No, he doesnt. He doesnt like anybody.
(Whisper slowly recovers. Javex takes the chance to lock up Whisper in a capture
suplex, sending him over. Javex rolls out of the ring on one side. Whisper rolls
out on the other. Whisper reaches under the ring and pulls out a table. Javex
moves an official and takes a chair. The Fish rolls out on Javexs side.
Whisper sets up a table. Javex charges Fish with the chair.)
HS: Look out Fish!!
(The Fish looks alert and ducks the first chair shot. Javex goes for second
shot, only to meet the feet of Fish, dropkicking the chair into his face! The
Fish recovers and gives the thumbs up to Herb Summers. Herb Summers returns
the gesture.)
FJ: He HEARD you!?
HS: Apparently.
(The Fish lifts up Javex. Javex charges forward, ramming the back of Fish into
the announcers table. Frank and Herb quickly move. Javex rolls Fish onto
the table. He climbs up and lifts Fish up. Fish swats away the arms of Javex
and starts punching him. A tunned Javex takes another punch
and another
and another
Fish kicks Javex in the gut. Javex leans forward. Fish sets
Javex up
)
HS: Deep Sea Driver ti- wait, MY TABLE!!
FJ: Look at Whisper!
(The camera pans back showing Whisper in the ring with a chair. Javex lifts
Fish over in a backtoss, sending him into the clutter around the time keeper.
Whisper bounces off the far ropes and springboards off the near side. He holds
the chair to his chest and flips backwards towards Javex. Javex dives off the
table. Whisper lets the chair go. It clatters onto the announcers table, and
Whisper hits face first onto the announcers table. He stumbles backwards, dazed,
then falls face-first onto the floor.)
HS: Whisper tried for an amazing Shooting Star Sacrifice but missed both men!
My God!
(The fans start a cheer of Holy Shit! Javex recovers first. The
chants turn to cheers as Javex finally brings a ladder into the equation. He
slides the ladder into the ring and puts it under the Cruiserweight belt. He
starts to climb. Fish recovers and climbs the apron. Javex climbs the ladder
climbing
climbing
The Fish grabs the top rope and springboards over.
Javex tries to move, but to no avail. The Fish grabs the head of Javex, spins,
and tornado DDTs him off the ladder! The fans erupt into cheers! Fish starts
climbing the ladder. He gets a few steps up and looks at the title, then down
at Javex. When he looks down at Javex, the fans cheer. The Fish looks around
at the fans, shrugs and flies off the ladder with a shooting star legdrop!)
HS: Flyin Fish!
FJ: Flyin Fish!
Heh
If this were a normal match, it might
be all over. What a putz.
HS: Hes entertaining the fans.
FJ: Whisper wouldnt do that. He wants to win, not entertain these people!
(On the outside, Whisper has recovered. He slides the other ladder into the
ring and follows it. The Fish rolls off of Javex. He stands up and moves towards
Whisper. Whisper sees him coming and ducks low, lifting Fish onto his shoulders.
He flips Fish off his shoulders to one side, dropping Fishs neck across
his knee.)
HS: Feedback by Whisper!
FJ: Fish food. Heh Heh.
(Whisper sets up the ladder and stomps at Fish a couple of times as he recovers.
Fish climbs to his feet with the aid of the ropes. Whisper runs up three steps
on the ladder and corkscrews backwards, landing a Whisper in the Wind on Fish,
which sends him over the top rope, and knocks over Whispers ladder. Whisper
sees the other ladder and stops dead. His head jerks up towards the Cruiserweight
belt. An evil smile crosses his face. He nods. Whisper starts moving towards
the Cruiserweight belt ladder. He climbs
climbs
climbs
Javex
has made it to his feet and is climbing the other side. Javex punches over the
ladder, nailing Whisper. Whisper sends his own right hand back across at Javex.
Javex sends another right at Whisper. Whisper stumbles a bit, but holds on.
Javex grabs the top of the ladder and flips forward for an overhead neckbreaker!)
HS/FJ: Oh my
(Whisper sees the move coming. He ducks in close to the ladder, then pushes
Javex as he goes by. Javex flies 15 feet down through the tableWhisper had set
up earlier!)
HS/FJ: GOD!!!
(The crowd once again starts their chants of Holy Shit. The Fish
is back in the ring. Whisper climbs up and reaches the top rung. The Fish charges
forward and crashes into the ladder. The ladder starts to tip. Whisper, as a
last recourse, flips backwards. Cameras flash all over the arena as Whisper
is caught corkscrew moonsaulting all the way to the floor
right onto Javex!
The crowd explodes into cheers and chants of Holy Shit. The ladder leans against
the top rope. Surprisingly, Whisper starts to climb to his feet, holding his
chest. The Fish, seeing this, springboards off the ladder to the outside and
hits a hurricanrana on Whisper! The crowd cheers and starts Fish
chants. The Fish, as if powered by the chants makes it to his feet. As if using
all of his power to do so, he points at the ring, eliciting a huge cheer from
the crowd. Again using overdramatic motions, he points to the belts. The crowd
cheers again. The Fish confidently strides towards the ring, stumbling a bit
in pain. He rolls into the ring and sets up a ladder under the TV title. Whisper
starts to stir. The Fish finishes the ladder setup and starts to climb. Whisper
rolls into the ring. Javex starts to stir.)
FJ: Come on Whisper!
HS: Come on Fish!
Fan behind the announcers: Go Javex!!
(The Fish gets to the second to last rung. Whisper climbs up behind him and
grabs his waist for a Silencer! Fish holds tight to the ladder, causing Whisper
to jump by himself, and Whisper lands back first n the mat. Javex rolls into
the ring and Fish cmibs the last rung and reaches for the belt. Javex gets to
his feet and in a burst of energy nails Gloria Por Dolor!!!
On the ladder!
The ladder closes from the impact and falls over. The Fish jumps and grabs the
hook.)
FJ: The Fish is hanging from the hook!
(Herb Summers starts laughing hysterically.)
FJ: What? Whats so funny? I dont get it!!
(The Fish dangles from the hook like a
well, like a fish thats
hooked itself
Damn thats confusing. Anyways, Javex falls to his
knees after the kick. Whisper is to his feet, jumping to no avail at the hanging
Fish. Whisper rolls out of the ring and grabs the chair. The Fish struggles
to unhook the belt while keeping his grip. Whisper rolls back in and swings
the chair. The Fish lifts his feet, cautiously avoiding the chair. Whisper swings
again, but again Fish pulls his feet up. Whisper opens the chair and jumps up.
He grabs the Fishs legs. The Fish lets out a GASP! and tries
to shake Whisper off. Javex gets under Whisper. The Fish finally shakes Whisper
loose and Whisper falls onto the shoulders of Javex. Javex grabs the chair,
folds it and hands it up to Whisper. In one motion Whisper grabs the chair and
swings it upwards, nailing Fish right across the face. Fish gets a goofy sort
of look in his eyes and falls off the hook, bouncing around on the mat as he
lands. Herb Summers is still giggling as he speaks.)
HS: The Fish
hehe
falls off the hook.
FJ: Whats your problem.
HS: He didnt
catch
the title this time!
(Whisper swings the chair down and nails Javex. Javex leans over. Whisper slides
off and opens the chair. He turns around, hooks Javex in a half nelson, and
facebusters him onto the open chair! The Fish rolls out of the ring, shaking
his head. Whisper rolls outside and grabs another chair, you know, the one that
doesnt have Javexs face implanted on it. Whisper starts setting
up a ladder. The Fish climbs the apron. Whisper climbs the ladder with the chair.
The Fish climbs the turnbuckle. Whisper turns around and lifts the chair above
his head. The Fish, looking surpised, 450 flips away from Whisper, making Javex
his target. Whisper jumps off the ladders and tries to dropkick the chair into
The Fish, but missed, sending the chair to the outside
almost into the
audience!)
HS: He missed
FJ:
everything. Damn.
(Whisper crashes to the mat and rolls to the outside. The Fish starts to recover.
Javex is out cold. Whisper angrily lifts the apron and starts messing with the
side of the ring. Whisper reaches under layers of ring construction and pulls
out one of the several 2 x 6s that make up the ring. He pulls it out so
about 3 feet of it are exposed. The Fish climbs the turnbuckle near Whisper.
Whisper gets onto the apron and shakes the ropes. The Fish falls, minnows first,
onto the turnbuckle. Whisper them climbs the turnbuckle.)
HS: What is he doing?
FJ: Most likely causing pain.
(Whisper hooks the arms of The Fish. He lifts him up. Whisper whips his head
back and with a sadistic look in his eyes, he flies backwards with an Eavesdrop
Sacrifice, crashing both men through the exposed 2 x 6 The wood makes
a sickening crack and shatters as both men hit it and crash to the floor. Whisper
rolls over, dazed. The Fish doesnt move.)
HS: The was sick! Repulsive!
FJ: Awesome!
(Meanwhile, in the ring, Javex has recovered. He looks around, and seeing no
one else, sets up a ladder. He works slowly, wincing in pain now and again.
Blood rolls down his face from a gash in his forehead. Suddenly, an arm punches
through the mat from underneath. As if on cue, the arena lights go out, and
there is complete silence. As the lights come on Rawstarr stands in his new
wrestling attire behind Javex.)
HS: Its Rawstarr!
FJ: Noooooo!
(The crowd cheers as Javex turns around and meets steel bat to the forehead.
The clang can be heard in the cheap seats. Javex goes down hard. Rawstarr drops
the bat and rolls out of the ring. He grabs a chair from the announcers table
and rolls back in. He takes his time setting up the Raw Execution, but when
hes ready, the limp Javex takes it! Rawstarr rolls outside, dropping something
with Frank, and exits through the crowd. Herb and Frank look confused. Back
in the ring, both Fish and Whisper have crawled their bloody selves into the
ring. The crawl slowly over towards different ladders. Whisper slowly sets his
up under the Cruiserweight title. The Fish does the same under the TV Title.
Whisper climbs the ladder. The Fish climbs his ladder. Whisper gets up the first
step and stops to rest. The Fish goes up two steps then grabs the rung for balance.
Whisper goes up two steps and stops. The Fish climbs up on more. Whisper glares
angrily across at Fish. Fish climbs another rung. Whisper does the same. They
both climb another rung. Both men are stopped, resting. The Fish reaches up
for his belt. Whisper, in a burst of energy climbs on more rung and grabs the
Cruiserweight title off the hook. Whisper jumps across, knocking his own ladder
over, and slams into The Fish with the belt. Whisper grabs onto the hook for
balance as The Fish and his ladder fall. The Fish crashes to the mat. Whisper
unhooks the other belt and falls helplessly to the mat. The bell rings. Trainers
and EMTs run to the ring to tend to all the competitors.)
FJ: What a match!
HS: Indeed it was, but both men are about to make their ways backstage on stretchers.
FJ: Yeah, they paid the price and Whisper now has the Cruiserweight AND the
TV title.
HS: I hope we have seen the EMTs for the last time tonight.
FJ: I doubt it.
(After a short "Don't Do This At Home" video, We Ready
by Archie begins to play as the NPD, Big Blue and Tim The Giant
make their way to the ring, They slide in and await the rest of their opponents.
Body Guard then hits the stadium and Dark Warrior and C-Rock emerge from
behind the curtain to a barrage of boos from the extraordinarily large
crowd. They begin to make their way to the ring taunting the fans the whole
way. They both climb into the ring and take their spots in the corner opposite
Big Blue and Tim. The teams stare across the ring at each other for a moment
but the stare down is broken by the sound of Warning by Green day blasting through
the speakers, as it does the Tag team champions Opposites Attract step through
the curtain to more boos, this seems to encourage Avdic and Welch as they
laugh at the crowd and make their way to the ring. They climb in and each man
turns to face on of the teams that are already in the ring and hold a belt up
to them. Both the NPD and Dark Warrior and C-Rock look ready to charge the champions,
but as C-Rock takes a step toward Avdic, Macho Man by the Village people begins
to play and all three teams turn and look to the entry way, as they do Jack
Happy steps through the curtain to an explosion of cheers. He takes a few steps
down the ramp and turns back to the entry way, and then begins to laugh, he
then makes his way to the ring and climbs in.)
HS: I am interested to see who Jack Happys Partner is going to be here!
FJ: Does it really matter, he isnt going to win regardless of who his
partner is.
HS: How can you say that, Jack Happy always has a chance to win, he is one
of the all time greats here in the AWA you Jackass.
FJ: Relax Herb, you are way to gullible for your own good. {MUMBLES} And stupid
too.
(Everyone is waiting to see who is going to step through the curtain to team
up with Jack Happy, as all the men stare at the curtain Macho Man
Begins to play again which throws the crowd, it plays for about twenty seconds
and then stops. Happy is looking around almost worried, as Macho Man begins
to play again. The camera focuses on the curtain for about ten seconds and still
no one comes out. Then switches back to Jack in the ring, his look of worry
turns to a smile and he looks up the ramp, he climbs out of the ring and then
back in, as he does the music stops. Happy turns to his corner raises his hands
for a double high five, and slaps the air, with a smile on his face he turns
back to the ring. The ref gets things in order and decides who will be starting
and from which teams. It is decided that Avdic from Opposites attract will be
starting the match against Jack Happy.)
HS: Jack looks to be going this one alone, I must admit even he may not be
able to over come these odds.
FJ: See Herb I told you, Happy is not going to win, you should learn to agree
with me, I am always right after all.
HS: Please, gimme a break.
(Happy and Avdic stare each other down for a moment and tie up. Avdic gets
the advantage and tries to whip Happy to the ropes, but Happy holds on, his
large size allows him to hold his ground. Avdic again pulls his arm for the
whip but with the same result. Happy then pulls Avdic toward him and drops him
with a hard short clothesline. Happy then get behind him and locks in a version
of the rear chin lock that appears to be almost a sleeper. The ref gets down
to check on Avdic who appears to fading. The ref looks at Avdics face and sees
his closed eyes and holds his arm up and drops it. 1.. He holds his arm up and
drops it again 2...)
HS: This match could be over before it even starts here for Avdic and the Tag
champs.
(The ref grabs Avdics arm again and holds it up, he lets it go and it begins
to drop only for Avdic to hold it up at the last minute. Avdics arm begins to
shake, and as it does Happy appears to grip the hold even tighter. Just then
Mr Welch jumps into the ring and boots Happy right in the mouth. He releases
the hold and falls backward holding his jaw. Welch drags the groggy Avdic to
their corner and gets the tag. He comes in and quickly stomps Happy to the head
a few times. He then grabs him by the head and lifts him to his feet, He then
runs to the near ropes, jumps at them bounces off the second rope and flies
at Happy hitting a Back Elbow. This knocks the Stunned Happy to the ground once
again. Welch quickly jumps to his feet and drops a driving leg across the throat
of Jack. He again climbs to his feet and does it again, he then gets to his
feet and begins to run toward the far ropes, but as he does Big Blue Reaches
out and slaps his back. Welch does not really notice and keeps running. The
ref does see it and signals the tag motion, making Blue the legal man, Welch
still in mid move turns to see Blue getting into the ring, he stops and gets
ready for him, but the ref makes his way to Welch and tells him that he tagged
out and explains. Welch is furious with the ref and begins to scream at him,
mean while Blue is dismantling Happy behind the refs back. Welch finally gets
out of the ring still jawing at the ref. Blue then picks up Happy and whips
him to the ropes, but as Happy hits the ropes he has the presence of mind
to raise his hand and slap the shoulder of C-Rock, the ref signals for the tag,
Blue does not realize the tag has been made and drops Happy with a clothesline,
only to catch a hard boot to the stomach by the now legal man C-Rock. C-Rock
the grabs Blue and hooks him for a vertical Supple. He hits the Suplex
and springs to his feet, Blue also gets to his feet although he is somewhat
slow doing so. AS he gets to his feet C-Cock grabs him and hits a German
Suplex, and holds on for a pin, the ref counts 1.
2.
. Blue kicks
out. C-Rock then grabs Blue and drags him back into his corner and tags Dark
Warrior.)
HS: This is a great strategy here by the Blueprint members, if they keep the
man in their corner he cant tag.
FJ: Yeah, HA HA, GO Blueprint.
HS: Please, I know full well that as soon as someone else starts winning you
will be cheering for them.
FJ: Hey I cant decide these guys are all great wrestlers, Its like watching
.Well
I dont know, but its great.
(C-Rock holds Blue and Warrior decks him, Warrior then picks him up and spins
him around for an inverted DDT. The crowd oooos at the impact of this
move. Warrior grabs Blue and lifts him to his feet. And then scoops him up for
a slam, Warrior stops his assault to taunt the crowd momentarily but as he does
Tim The Giant climbs into the ring and waits for Dark Warrior to turn around
as he does Tim clubs him down to the mat and grabs the almost out cold Blue.
He then carries him back to the corner and gets out of the ring, then uses Blues
hand to slap his own making him the legal man, he makes his way across the ring
and goes to grab Dark Warrior who quickly rolls to his left, Tim then finally
grabs Warrior in the Corner and begins to hold a choke against the turnbuckle,
Warrior notices that he just happens to be in the Opposites Attract corner so
he reaches out and tags Avdic. Avdic quickly jumps into the ring and begins
to hammer at the back of Tim, but the shots hardly faze the big nearly 400 pounder.
He turns his attention from the choking of Dark Warrior to the now legal man
Mr Avdic. Tim swings at Avdic but Avdic ducks and catches Tim with a hard Kick
to the kidney. This hunches Tim over slightly and Avdic slams his elbow into
the back of Tims Head dropping him to his knees, he elbows him again and
again, then kicks him in the face which causes Tim to fall to the ground. Avdic
then drops a big leg across the chest and throat of Tim and covers 1.
..2.
.
Blue breaks up the count, Welch then runs in but is stopped by the ref Tim rolls
out of the ring and the ref turns back around and questions Blue being the legal
man but just lets the match go on.)
HS: What is the ref doing, Blue is not the legal man.
FJ: What are you talking about, I saw that tag and the ref saw the tag, you
are obviously just blind.
HS: Yes Frank Im blind, do you even understand the rules of wrestling?
FJ: Of course I do, when the refs Back is turned everything is legal. Remember
it is only illegal if you get caught.
HS: Youre terrible, absolutely terrible.
FJ: Oh you love me!
HS: Oh Just watch the match!
(Blue grabs Avdic and lifts him to his feet and hits a hard Death Valley
Driver. He covers 1.
2.
Kick out by Avdic. Blue pushes Avdic back
down and covers again 1.
.2.
Another kick out by Avdic. Blue slaps
the mat and glares at the ref and then climbs to his feet and Drops an elbow
to the chest of Avdic. Blue grabs Avdic and lifts him to his feet again and
drags him over to the NPD corner. Pushes him into the corner and begins to pound
him to the ribs and head with a flurry or hard rights and lefts. Then Grabs
him lifts him in the air and Drops down with the Blue Driver, and follows up
quickly with the cover. 1.
..2.
Welch comes into attempt to break
the count but is met by the foot of Tim The Giant
. 3!!!!!!)
HS: Opposites Attract have been Eliminated, the champs are out, and that means
that there will be New Tag Team Champions when this match is all said and done.
FJ: Opposites Attract got beat by the referee Herb, this is ridiculous!
HS: What? Just a minute ago it was just fine that the ref made a mistake.
FJ: I never said that, quit putting words in my mouth.
HS: I dont get you at all, but there is still a match going on and we
are going to have new Tag Champs when it is all said and done.
(After Welch and Avdic are clear of the ring Blue is all fired up and celebrating
with Tim in the corner When Jack happy comes running across and nails blue with
a double ax-handle, sending him crashing into the turnbuckle, then dumps Tim
over the top rope and grabs Blue and whips him across to the opposite Turnbuckle,
and follows him in with a giant Avalanche. Blue falls to the mat and Happy hits
the ropes and drops a big Leg then rolls and covers. 1.
..2.
Kick
out by Blue. Happy climbs to his feet and lifts Blue with him hoists him up
onto his shoulder and nails a hard running Power slam. Happy covers again 1...2...
Tim interrupts the count with a stomp to the head of Happy. Tim then picks Happy
up and nails him with a vicious Power bomb. Blue is at this time getting to
his feet, he sees Happy down and takes advantage picking him up and Nails the
Blue Hammer. He cover Happy 1.
.2.
. Happy Kicks out. Blue glares
at the ref again and lifts Happy back to his feet and tosses him to the corner,
but it is the corner of Bad Blood. C-Rock Slaps Happy on the shoulder and climbs
into the ring to surprise the charging Blue with a hard clothesline. Blue goes
down and C-Rock quickly Drops a chop to the throat of Blue. C-Rock then gets
up and whips Jack Happy out of the ring, and tags Dark Warrior. C-Rock then
picks Blue up and hits the Regulator. Dark Warrior at this time has made
it to the top rope and comes off hitting High Death, He stays on for the cover
1.
.2.
.3!!!!!!)
HS: The NPD has been eliminated, and we are down to just two team, well one
team and Jack Happy, going alone, you have to respect him making it this far,
but it is going to take one hell of a performance to take out both members of
Bad Blood and take this Victory.
FJ: Happy cant win this, Bad Blood are to good, I just wanna see if he
is still happy after the beating he is set to take.
HS: Well Jack Happy is one of the toughest guys here in the AWA and if anyone
can over come these odds it would be him.
(C-Rock climbs out of the ring and tosses Happy back in to Dark Warrior who
whips him to the ropes and nails a Flashback. Warrior covers 1.
2... Happy
Kicks out Warrior quickly gets to his feet and awaits Happy, once Happy is to
his feet he turns to Warrior and is caught with a hard Super Kick. Warrior grabs
him and drags him over to the corner where C-Rock is waiting hand out stretched.
Warrior tags him and holds Happy as C-Rock decks him with a hard right, happy
falls to the ground and C-Rock lifts him up and holds him for Warrior who also
hits him with a hard right hand. Happy falls again and Bad Blood stomp him while
he is down.)
HS: Come on this is a tag match ref get Dark Warrior out of there.
FJ: Oh stop it summers, beating builds character, and is about to become one
hell of a character.
HS: You're terrible, Jack Happy may not survive much longer if the ref does
not get control of this.
(Dark Warrior finally climbs out of the ring and C-Rock lifts Happy to his
feet, and scoops him up to go for a running Power slam, he starts to run, but
Happy slides of his back and pushes C-Rock into the Turnbuckle, he then turns
back and catches Dark Warrior charging and nails him with a clothesline. Then
turns back and nails C-Rock with a clothesline and then Warrior again. He then
grabs Warrior and tosses him over the top to the outside. And makes his way
over to C-Rock and lifts him up and hits a hard Power bomb. He covers
1.
2.
No Dark Warrior grabs his leg from outside and pulls him off.
Warrior then pulls Happy out side the ring. The ref follows them out and stops
Warrior from his outside attack. Meanwhile with the ref distracted C-Rock climbs
out the other side and grabs a chair, Warrior backs away and the ref slides
back into the ring as he sees that C-Rock has the Chair. Warrior then grabs
a hold of Happy and nails a piledriver on the outside. Then he slides Happy
back into the ring. The ref saw nothing because he was trying to take the chair
from C-Rock, he finally grabs it and C-Rock lets it go, then runs over and covers
Happy 1.
2.
3!!!!!!!!!)
HERB: NO!!!
FJ: What do you mean, this is a great moment, Bad Blood have just won the Tag
Team title, and Dark Warrior has just become a Grand Slam Champion, what else
could you ask for?
HS:How about a fair fight. They cheated Frank, Warrior just hit Happy with
a piledriver on the floor, and he was not the legal man.
FJ: Why do you have to ruin this for Bad Blood, they are the New Tag Team champions,
that is the ref's decision, and we all know that is final.
HS: Well I guess your right, I have to live with it, but I damn sure dont
like it. Happy will have his day with these two again, I just hope it is a fair
fight.
FJ: Yeah, he will have his day, after they scrape him up of the mat, HA HA!!!!!!
HS: You're terrible, I dont think I can say that enough, you're absolutely
terrible.
FJ: Oh stop your whining Herb and applaud the New AWA Tag Team Champions!
HS: What is this?
(Suddenly, the lights start flickering and then even go out momentarily. After
a few seconds, they come back on and Animosity and Death Angel are standing
in the ring behind Bad Blood! Animosity and Angel then attack with clotheslines.
They start stomping away at the new Champions and then take the belts. After
briefly looking at them, Angel and Animosity use the belts to K.O. Dark Warrior
and C-Rock. Animosity then grabs the microphone.)
AnimositY: Well, congratulations, you won the match, you are the tag team champions,
but your reign will not last. If the two of you have any guts whatsoever you
will put those belts on the line next Sunday on Shock against the two of us.
I hope you're ready because you are about to walk into hell, and you may never
come out.
(Animosity drops the mic and the two men throw the belts down on top of the
downed champs and walk out with evil grins on their faces. We cut to the back
and see The Fish being escorted by two trainers. As if you're surprised by it,
Whisper charges from behind and levels Fish, the cameraman, and the trainers.
The camera seems to be at a bad angle. The bloodied Whisper stomps down on an
unseen Fish. Whisper bends down, partially blocked by the bad camera angle.
He seems to be doing something that takes effort. Then with a tearing motion
he pulls something into the camera's view. It's The Fish's mask!? Whisper spits
blood down off camera. He walks away angrily, kicking the camera. The camera
shifts, showing The Fish from the waist down, laid out on the floor. We then
cut back to Herb and Frank.)
HS: What else does Whisper want? He beat Fish and won both titles, and he STILL
doesn't have enough.
FJ: Oh, come on Herb, I can understans him. I mean, I could beat up Fish all
day long as well.
HS: No, you couldn't.
FJ: Well, but I could ask somebody to do it for me.
HS: As great as Classic has been so far the night only promises to get better.
FJ: Yes, and personally Im looking very forward to this next match up.
HS: I couldnt agree more, Frank. This promises to be the Grudge Match
to end all Grudge Matches between arguably AWAs brightest young star and
an AWA legend in his own right, Dave The Rave Santini.
FJ: In his own right? Dave Santini is the greatest wrestler of all time, hands
down. And he is an even better commissioner as well as a model citizen and noble
leader of the established Blueprint faction.
HS: While my nose may be a bit cleaner than my colleagues here, I do
agree that Dave Santini has begun to build an empire in the AWA. The Blueprint,
though many like myself do not agree with their methods, are here to stay.
FJ: Unlike Mortis Valley, whos going to lose his job after we see Santini
handle Bawm here.
HS: Whoa there, Nelly. Before Frank digs himself any deeper, why dont
we roll the promotional tape?
VOICE OVER: A rivalry born in malice. A feud greater than any before it. Two
men with different ideals meet on one night to end it all. An age old battle,
Good vs. Evil, Young vs. Old, Pride vs. Honor. And when its all said and
done and the battle lines are drawn, who will emerge from the smoke victorious?
Will it be Adam Bawm
?
(The camera quickly pans around, showing the thousands of screaming Brazilian
fans, before fading into the promotional movie that fills the screen. First
Adam Bawm is shown, in black and white footage, standing in a training ring
wrapping his hands in tape. A voice over of Bawm is heard as the color footage
of recent victories by Bawm over John Williams, Judgement and Dark Warrior flash
in and then back to the black and white.)
ADAM BAWM: These are the moments we all live for. The time where we all must
stand up and fight. The time where we must protect our families
our beliefs
our honor! This is my time and the time is now!
VOICE OVER: Or will it be Dave Santini
?
(Then the scene switches to a similar scene of Dave Santini. He is in a gym
lifting weights. The scene flips over to images of Santini winning various matches
in his life but eclipsing with an evil grin as the members of the Blueprint
are shown, holding various titles theyve won under Santinis tenure.)
DAVE SANTINI: When one man holds the power over the Fate of another, they so
often become hungry and mad with power. A true leader knows this and knows to
avoid it. But every so often an obstacle is put in their way. A disobedient,
if you will. It is the responsibility of a true leader to crush this threat.
Tonight Im going to crush the threat and so much more. I will reign supreme
once more and my establishment will become the Alpha and the Omega. Tonight,
everything changes.
ADAM BAWM: And when its all said...
DAVE SANTINI:
and done, one thing will ring true.
ADAM BAWM:
will ring true.
DAVE SANTINI: This match is
ADAM BAWM:
guaranteed
DAVE SANTINI:
to be
BAWM & SANTINI: ...a Classic...
FJ: You heard the man. Tonight its going to be different. If Dave The
Rave says so, it must be so.
HS: Well, lets see if that statement is true or whether the self proclaimed
Atomic Adonis can prove him otherwise.
FRANK: More like Atomic As
(The boom of Time Bomb, by Godsmack, cuts Frank off mid-sentence.
The Rio de Janeiro crowd erupts in cheers for Adam Bawm as he emerges from the
back, holding the hand of his beloved Kelly Gunns. Bawm is noticeably wearing
an A.I. t-shirt and a brute cake cap, while Kelly is wearing a T-Shirt with
a picture of AWA superstar Fishs face on the front and the words Fin
Follower on the back. Naturally, the shirt is two sizes too small.)
HS: Whew, Miss Gunns is looking right nice tonight, isnt she?
FJ: I ought to tell Adam Bawm you said that.
HS: Well the fans got an pre-emptive taste of Bawm earlier tonight when he
came out to aide his A.I. partner, Bryan Peek in a winning effort.
FJ: A,I. Schmay-I. Besides, they cheated the whole way through! Just like they
did last week!
HS: Like it or not, Frank, Annihilation Inc. is here to stay!
(Frank rolls his eyes as the camera focuses its attention back on Bawm, who
is climbing into the ring. He holds the ropes open for his manager and she slides
in, to the delight of the male audience. Once in the ring, Bawm begins posing
for the fans and allowing them to take pictures. At one point, he runs over
and climbs up to the top turnbuckle and poses with his familiar cheesy grin.)
FJ: He is so full of himself.
HS: Yes, but in the last few weeks, he has certainly backed up his arrogance
with his actions in the ring.
FJ: A few lucky wins and the guy thinks hes L.J. Vacamas!
HS: I wouldnt call that win against Dark Warrior inside the unforgiving
steel cage luck.
FJ: Neither would I. Its worse than luck. It was a mistake!
(The arena goes quiet as Def Lepperds anthem, Sugar hits
the P.A. and Dave Santini slowly emerges from the back. Surprisingly, he is
alone and no Blueprint members are in sight.)
HS: Hey, it looks like Santini is finally contempt to go it alone tonight.
FJ: What do you mean by that? Bawm is the one with the ringside help tonight!
Santini would never cheat!
HS: Youre right. Im mistaken, Im terribly sorry. Happy now?
FJ: Very!
(The crowd doesnt hesitate to boo Santini, but he doesnt seem to
notice. Since he has come out, his eyes havent left Bawms. He slowly
walks to the ramp, mumbling something to himself and paying no mind to the fans
surrounding him.)
FJ: Look how focused Dave is.
HS: You can see the cold, compassionless stare in his eyes. Its chilling.
FJ: But he sure looks pumped.
HS: Well hed better be!
FJ: Why do you say that?
HS: Because Bawm outweighs him by over fifty pounds and has an eight inch height
advantage. Not to mention hes one pissed off Nuclear Physicist!
FJ: Bawm may outsize him and outweigh, but he certainly doesnt outclass
him.
(Suddenly, as Santini nears the ring, Bawm rushes out to meet him, sliding
under the ropes and barely landing on his feet before darting off at full speed.
The crowd erupts as the two superstars collide on the entrance ramp and the
battle begins.)
HS: This match wont be for the faint of heart.
FJ: And here we go
(Bawm hits Santini hard with a running clothesline, sending him hard into the
steel grating. The crowd cheers him on as he begins stomping the chest of Santini
and cursing at him. Bawm picks Santini up by the scruff of the neck and then
lunges forward, sending Santini shoulder first into the steel security railing.)
HS: Ooh, what impact! Bawm is wasting no time here.
FJ: Oh whatever. Take it into the ring, Bawm!
(Bawm taunts Santini a bit and then advances towards him. With a last ditch
effort, Santini grabs Bawms leg and pulls him forward, forcing Bawm to
fall face first into the barrier on the outside. Both men are now down outside
the ring, stunned and catching their breaths.)
HS: Desperation counter by Dave Santini. Both me are down!
FJ: Thats what he gets! Get him Dave!
HS: Have you ever heard the time, unbiased?
FJ: How many times do I have to tell you, Herb? Dont curse at me!
HS: Just watch the damn match.
(After about eight seconds, the referee orders the men into the ring. Bawm
slowly gets to his feet and pulls up Santini with him. After a couple of immobilizing
rights, Bawm leads Santini to the ring and rolls him in, to the delight of the
crowd. Bawm slides in to follow suit as Kelly continues watching from outside,
cheering her confidant on.)
FJ: What the hell are they cheering about? Oh no, Bawm just did the devastating
ROLL!
HS: Oh, har har.
(Bawm picks the dazed Santini up and immediately follows with a vicious barrage
of rights; then whipping Santini into the ropes. As Santini comes flying back,
he manages to duck one clothesline of Bawm and continues on into the opposite
ropes. Bawm wisely drops to the mat and Santini skips over him, heading full
steam into the opposite ropes. Just as Santini has built full steam off his
final rebound from the ropes, Bawm lunges forward and grabs his right leg, picking
him up straight off the ground, and then falling backward, bringing Santini
to land hard onto his face.)
HS: Oh, that flapjack had to hurt! Santini is reeling.
FJ: I dont see the Fish out here?
(Sensing he has the victory in hand, Bawm grows a bit more arrogant. He picks
Santini up onto his shoulders and then calls for the Fall-Out.)
HS: This may not be very wise of Bawm here.
FJ: Oh, no, Dave. Break free!
(Santini, powerless to stop him, tries to break free. But instead of going
for the finisher, Bawm simply falls backward, on top of Santini, in a Samoan
Drop. Kelly barks orders to Bawm from outside, but Bawm is oblivious.)
FJ: Bawm had better be careful not to get too arrogant out there. After all,
hes only facing the greatest superstar in AWA history.
HS: Well, I agree with some of that.
FJ: So you admit Santini is the best ever?
(Bawm quickly gets to his feet, declaring something to the effect of Im
the Man! as the crowd cheers. Bawm imprudently walks over to Santini,
taunting him as he goes. Two seconds later, Bawm is sprawled out on the mat,
clutching his lower extremities.)
HS: LOW BLOW! LOW BLOW!
FJ: Isnt that what Ramona
oh never mind. Brilliant strategy by
Dave The Rave.
HS: And Im going to tell Low you said that!
(Bawm is slow to shake off the pain from the low blow and Santini is able to
get to his feet more quickly. He wisely rolls out of the ring to shake the cobwebs
from his hair. Suddenly, he tosses the ring announcer aside and takes the chair
on which he was sitting. Kelly Gunns tries to deter him but he merely pushes
her onto the mat, causing the back of her head to slam down hard against the
thin, protective foam mat.)
HS: Oh, thats just unnecessary.
FJ: Look at Santini swat her away like a fly.
(Santini slides into the ring with the chair, but the referee immediately takes
it from him. By this time Bawm is up and he lunges forward at Santini with a
big boot. But Santini pushes the referee in front of him and Bawm knocks the
referee unconscious from the impact to the back of the referees head.)
HS: Santini just used the referee as a shield! Good God!
FJ: See, I told you Santini was smart.
HS: Oh no, what is Santini doing?
FJ: Youre so impatient.
(As Bawm checks on the referee, the crowd tries to warn him. For Santini is
stalking Bawm with the chair, waiting for Bawm to turn around. Bawm finally
hears the screaming voice of his fiancée, who is still holding
the back of her head, but it is too late. Santini brings down the steel chair
directly to the forehead of Adam Bawm.)
HS: Look out Bawm! NO!
FJ: I know, isnt it great?
HS: Great? You call that blatant use of a destructive weapon great?
FJ: In the words of the immortal Fish
duh.
(Bawms eyes roll up in the back of his head but he remains on two feet,
stumbling about towards the center of the ring.)
HS: Bawm isnt going down that easy.
FJ: Well see about that.
(With heavy boos raining down, Santini swings the chair again, harder
than ever. The sound of the shot reverberates through the entire arena and the
crowd goes silent. Yet, somehow, Bawm is still standing, dazed and confused,
like some walking zombie.)
FJ: Bawm is standing there dazed and confused like some walking zombie!
HS: How original
. I mean observant.
FJ: Why thank you.
(Out of frustration and anger, but mostly out of desperation, Santini springs
into the ropes and leaps forward on the rebound, swinging at Bawms skull
in mid-air. Bawm drops like an anvil as Santini examines the chair. The seat
of the chair has been knocked out and flown into the audience, landing in the
lap of some lucky fan.)
HS: OH MY GOD! Ive never seen anything like that!
FJ: Hey, maybe Dave can sign that for her later.
HS: Bawm is out. Damn that Santini.
FJ: Oh cry me a river.
(Santini smiles at the havoc he has caused and arrogantly pins Bawm, avoiding
the crimson puddle filling next to Bawms head. Santini waits for the count,
but it never comes. The arena thunders with boos as Santini notices the
unconscious referee.)
FJ: That referee is sleeping on the job. What a bum.
HS: Oh, youre criticizing him for doing a shitty job. Rich
really
rich.
FJ: Actually, we barely make
err, umm
HS: Just watch the damn match, would you?
(Going over to him, Santini barks at the referee to get to his feet, but truly
in vain. Santini tries to pick the referee up, but he just slumps back down.
After several seconds of struggle, the referee slowly begins to revive, with
the aid of a few slaps in the face by Santini. With the referee finally awakening,
Santini rolls on top of Bawm, hooking his leg and arrogantly heckling out the
painstakingly slow count.)
FJ: FINALLY! Its over
its about time.
HS: I cant believe Santini is going to steal a win like this.
FJ: Steal is such a strong word. How about forcibly borrowed?
(ONE
TWO
THRE
TWO! shouts the referee as Bawm barely
manages to kick out.)
HS: Bawm kicked out! Holy cow!
FJ: That was a slow count. Who the hell hires these referees?
HS: Your boss, President Gray.
FJ: And what a fine job they do.
(Santini is enraged and after a brief spat with the referee, covers again.
ONE
TWO
TH
kick out. Kelly cheers on from outside as an infuriated
Santini gets up into the referees face and begins arguing.)
FJ: See, Santini doesnt like that decision either.
HS: A kick out is a kick out. Maybe if Santini wasnt being so arrogant...
FJ: Why? Hes kicking Bawms ass, he has a right to be.
(Santini doesnt realize that Bawm is slowly crawling over towards him
until he is lying on his back, legs in the air, being pinned in a Schoolboy.)
(ONE
TW
kick out. Santini is much fresher now and easily kicks
out of the weaker Bawms cover.)
FJ: HA! No one can pin a legend like Santini!
HS: Yes, but did you see the look in Daves eyes? Priceless
(Santini begins kicking Bawm in the back, planting him to the mat. Santini
then lifts Bawm up and quickly executes a number of rights, only a few of which
Bawm is able to block or counter. Santini whips Bawm into the nearest turnbuckle
and follows with a huge corner splash. The impact of the splash bounces Bawm
stumbling out to center ring, back towards Santini.)
HS: Oooh that must have hurt.
FJ: See, youre finally starting to see things my way.
(Santini locks his arms around Bawm, belly to belly, and begins to execute
the ensuing suplex. However, Bawm doesnt seem to budge. We can see the
strain in the face of Santini as he tries to lift Bawm up, but Bawm just wont
move.)
HS: Bawms weight advantage is visible here, ladies and gentlemen.
FJ: I have faith in The Rave.
(Instead, Bawm wraps his arms around Santini and locks his hands together.
Santini screams in agony as Bawm clinches tighter and tighter, lifting him off
the mat with his arms still locked in.)
HS: Bawm counters into a bear hug, but in his condition, how long can he hold
on.
FJ: Dont worry, Santini will break free. See, look at the resilience.
(The referee continues to badger Santini, but he violently shakes his head
that he wont tap. The crowd cheers the first sign of offense by Bawm in
nearly ten minutes. Bawm locks the bear hug in tighter, and Santini still refuses
to tap. Finally, Santini wises up and begins hitting Bawm in the side of the
head with open palm strikes. This causes Bawm to slowly release his grip.)
FJ: HA! Told you so!
HS: Dont count your chicke
. OH MY GOD!
FJ: NO!
HS: Bawm just suplexed Santini clear over the ropes. Oh my, we have to watch
this again.
FJ: I cant bear it again.
HS: Listen to the impact Santini hits the mat with. This mat outside is only
an inch thick, people. Thats nowhere near enough to break a fall from
that height. Imagine falling ten feet directly onto concrete!
(With Santini now laid out next to the ring apron, Bawm manages to catch his
breath as the crowd chants Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Santini is reeling
outside from Bawms belly to belly suplex that sent him over the ropes.
We can visually see the life coming back into Bawm and he slides outside the
ring to continue his assault. Kelly Gunns leads the crowd in support of the
rejuvenated Bawm.)
HS: Well, at least the crowds finally coming to life here.
FJ: How can they cheer at a time like this? Those damn ingrates.
(Bawm picks up the lifeless Santini and tosses him into the steel ring stairs,
back first. Santini screams in agony as Bawm, still a bloodied mess, begins
shifting into a rage. His eyes begin to glaze over as he stomps Santini in the
chest, repeatedly slamming him back into the steps with complete disregard for
any internal injuries Santini may be suffering from.)
FJ: Enough, Bawm! ENOUGH!
HS: Bawm has just gone through a complete metamorphosis here. He looks like
a rabid animal.
(Bawm rolls back up onto the apron to break a count out and Santini tries to
crawl away. Bawm simply grabs him by the leg and pulls him back. He holds onto
Santinis leg, however, and looks around at the crowd for guidance as of
what to do next.)
FJ: Oh, no, now what is he doing? I cant believe hes going to listen
to these disrespectful Brazilians.
HS: You mean these Brazilians who pay your check?
FJ: No, President Gray pays my check. These people just come here to see bloodshed
damn animals.
HS: Oh, I think I know whats coming next. Here comes the Core!
(Taking the advice of Herb, he twists around; straddling over Santinis
back and then pulls his thigh up under his arm. Bawm then slowly sits down onto
Santinis back forcing as much weight down as possible. Santini cries out
in pain as Bawm presses down harder.)
HS: Most people dont realize the combination of damage this submission
does. Not only is there tremendous pain applied to Santinis back, but
blood is constantly being cut off to his brain.
FJ: This move should be illegal.
(Santini slams his hand down into the mat, indicating he has tapped out.)
FJ: NOOOO! This is a travesty
HS: Frank?
FJ: An outrage
Bawm cheated.
HS: Frank?
FJ: Im calling my congressman!
HS: FRANK!
FJ: What? Cant you leave a moping man be?
HS: Just pay attention.
(The referee doesnt acknowledge it because both men are outside the ring.
Instead, Bawm has to release the Core to avoid being counted out. He slides
onto the ring apron, then quickly, intently, continues his assault. He picks
Santini up and rolls him into the ring, following suit. Bawm then tries to lift
Santini up by his hair, only to catch and elbow to the gut.)
FJ: Ha, take that Nuclear Nonuts!
HS: Oh, give me a break.
(Santini elbows Bawm again in the stomach, and again. Santini then reaches
up and grabs Bawm by the head, slamming his chin down with a momentum-stopping
jawbreaker.)
FJ: Hey, is that a tooth that flew over here?
HS: Nice counter by Santini.
FJ: Nice? Nice? That was so much more than nice. It was pivotal! I wouldnt
be surprised if Santini goes for a cover now.
(Although unhurt, Bawm is a bit confused as to how Santini was able to land
the move and is easy game to the ensuing shoulder neck breaker from Santini.
Bawm clutches the back of his neck as Santini climbs to his feet and begins
stomping on the back of Bawms neck.)
HS: The momentum is shifting Santinis way now. Dave is in control.
FJ: Oh, hes been in control the entire time. He was just letting Bawm
look good.
HS: Oh, yes, Im sure thats it. What was I thinking?
(Having caught his second wind, Santini has now locked in a rear naked choke
on the facedown Bawm. He makes sure to plant his knee directly into the back
of Bawms neck where the spine and collarbone meet. Bawm grimaces in pain
as the blood from his forehead covers Santinis hands.)
FJ: ITS OVER! Bawm may as well tap now before he hurts himself anymore!
HS: I have to hand it to Santini. Hes doing whatever it takes to win
tonight.
FJ: Santini doesnt care about winning. He just wants to hurt Bawm. And
Id have to say, from the look on Bawms face and terrible screams
coming from his mouth, Id say Santini is succeeding.
(Bawm struggles to break free and has his hand up, inches off the mat, ready
to tap. He digs his knees hard into the mat as Kelly and the crowd tries to
give him support. He pushes off his knees, slowly, inching his way closer and
closer to the ropes. He stretches out his hand, his fingertips within inches
of the ropes when Santini releases the hold.)
FJ: Hahahaha! Bawm was so close. Great presence of mind by the Man.
HS: The Man?
FJ: Yes. For the remainder of this match, Ill be referring to Dave Santini
as <i>The Man</i>.
(Santini immediately drags Bawm by his leg to the center of the ring and then
locks on a half-Boston crab. Bawm screams in pain as Santini adds insult to
injury with his own version of the Core. Kelly frantically bangs her hand on
the mat, trying to keep Bawm focused. The blood from Bawms head has slowed
down a bit and is visibly growing brighter from the lack of oxygen. Bawms
eyes roll up into his head and the referee raises his arm to call off the match
up.)
FJ: Its over! The Man has won! No one is a match for The Man!
HS: What an intense match up.
FJ: I believe you owe me a hundred bucks.
HS: Hold that thought
(NO! cries Bawm to the dismay and awe of the crowd. With every
ounce of energy in him, Bawm pushes himself up with his arms and kicks his legs,
flipping Dave Santini off of him. Santini goes flying into the ropes, getting
tangled, and the crowd erupts.)
HS: WHAT A COUNTER! Bawm has nothing left in his tank, yet he still managed
to pull that off.
FJ: I
I
I
.
HS: Just listen to this crowd, they are in full support of Adam Bawm tonight.
(Bawm lies in the center of the ring, trying to catch his breath as the blood
flows. While the referee attends to Bawm, Santini is busy trying to untangle
himself. He has gotten where his foot is caught between two twisted ropes and
he is hanging, upside down, outside the ring. Kelly Gunns walks over and curses
at Santini.)
HS: Santini looks like a fly caught in a web here. Theres nothing he
can do.
FJ: Yes, and Kelly Gunns is a black widow! HA!
(Kelly then spits onto Santinis bare chest and rears her arm back, swinging
it forward with a resounding Thwack that was nearly as loud as the
chair shots Bawm suffered earlier. The impact, in fact, is so hard that it frees
Santini from the ropes and he falls to the outside. Kelly looms over him, cursing
him and taunting him with the crowd.)
HS: OOOH, what a slap.
FJ: She cant do that to The Man.
HS: I believe she just did, Frank.
FJ: Thats outside interference. This match should be called off. The
Man has just won!
(Suddenly, Santini looks up at Kelly with the most evil, vicious look imaginable.
She backs away, shocked for a moment and Santini grabs the nearest chair, stalking
her. The ref is still attending to Bawm and has only just now realized Santini
is outside, so he begins a count. Kelly runs around the ring as Santini stalks
her, walking slowly, intent on causing her suffering.)
FJ: I guess The Man isnt the fly anymore. Look at the intent in his eyes.
HS: As much as I hate to say it, what goes around comes around.
FJ: Get her! Ha, I love this. Its like the Crocodile Dundee!
(To try and escape Santini, Kelly slides into the ring to the chagrin of the
referee. Santini charges after, wielding his chair over his head, obviously
enjoying the thrill of the hunt. Kelly darts out of the ring as Santini swings
and he catches the ropes, laughing loudly.)
HS: Santini is just toying with Gunns here. Come on, Santini, lets get
on with the action.
FJ: Yeah, I wanna see The Man whip up on Bawm some
NO!
(As Santini wheels around, he is met in the face with his own chair, which
is being aided by the big boot of Adam Bawm. Santini falls flat onto his back,
out cold as Bawm roars aloud in the ring over him like a barbarian.)
HS: Santini certainly didnt see that coming!
FJ: Neither did I. That is just ridiculous by Bawm. The Man wasnt even
ready.
(He then picks Santinis flaccid body up and lifts him onto his shoulders.)
FJ: Oh, what is he doing now?
HS: You know as well as I do, Frank. Bawm has had enough.
(Flash bulbs go off throughout the arena as Bawm tosses Santinis body
off his shoulder like a rag doll, twisting his own body around and catching
Santini around the legs, forcing him down with a power bomb.)
HS: The Fall-Out! The Fall-Out!
FJ: Geez, Herb, calm down.
HS: Its all over from here, folks.
FJ: Get up The Man, get up!
(Bawm rolls over Santini for the easy cover. ONE
TWO
THREE! Adam
Bawm raises his arms in triumph as the crowd showers him with cheers.)
HS: What an impressive victory for the young Adam Bawm.
FJ: Impressive? That punk cheated the whole time!
(Suddenly, Bawms eyes grow white wide and his face changes instantly.
Bawm stands up with a bolt as the camera focuses on Kelly Gunns crying for help.
Dark Warrior is holding her by her neck, with his other hand clutching both
of Kellys wrists. He looks up at Bawm and smiles, then leans in slowly,
breathing in through his nose, taking a big whiff of Kellys hair.)
HS: Now, she defiantly doesnt deserve this. What the Hell?
FJ: You reap what you sew, Herb.
(Bawm immediately charges out of the ring, leaving Santini to clutch his wounds.
Just as he hits the ramp, C-Rock and Poppa lunge out, having stayed out of view
of Adam Bawm, and knock him down hard from behind. The pair then begins stomping
Bawm in the back as he reaches in vain for Kelly. An evil grin comes over Dark
Warriors face and he suddenly tosses Kelly Gunns into the security railing,
knocking her unconscious.)
HS: How cowardly by the Blueprint. A three on one assault?
FJ: Actually, Dark Warrior has yet to hit Bawm.
HS: Youre such an ass. Look what he did to Gunns!
(As C-Rock and Poppa continue kicking Bawm, Dark Warrior reaches into his pants
and pulls out a metal nightstick. The camera zooms in on the inscribed letters
spelling out The Equalizer.)
HS: What the Hell are they going to do with that?
FJ: You really are slow, arent you?
(It doesnt take long for Bawms fellow cohorts, Bryan and Andy Peek
to come charging down the entrance ramp to Bawms aide. But the trio of
Blueprint members is prepared and leaves Bawm in his own puddle of blood to
attack the Blueprint.)
HS: Now the odds are a bit more even. Look at this new kid, Andy Peek. Hes
in amazing physical condition.
(The numbers game soon takes effect and C-Rock and Poppa soon take out Andy
Peek. They then turn their attention to Bryan Peek, who is vehemently battling
with Dark Warrior. The three on one assault soon leaves Bryan lying down, out
cold.)
FJ: So much for that, HA!
HS: I must say, the Blueprint is like a pack of dogs. They strike in numbers
with great accuracy and precision.
FJ: Im going to tell The Man you called him a dog.
HS: Why do I even bother?
(Dark Warrior then orders his fellow members to pick up the lifeless Bawm and
toss him into the ring, as he checks on Dave Santini. Santini slowly gets to
his feet as the crowd jeers. C-Rock and Poppa hold Bawm down as Dark Warrior
hands Santini the Equalizer.)
HS: Please, this is enough. How much more can this kid take? Hes already
lost tons of blood.
FJ: You can never have enough blood, Herb. Thats The Mans motto!
(Dark Warrior then comes over to Bawm and pulls his head back by his short
hair, whispering something in his ear. We cant tell what he is saying,
but by the look on his face, we know it wasnt friendly. He then holds
Bawms head up as Santini rears back, looking like a mad man.)
HS: This is just repulsive. He cant be doing this, can he?
FJ: I think Im having second thoughts, Herb. Ive never seen The
Man so ruthless. This could kill Bawm!
(But the pleas of the crowd and Frank and Herb are not heard as Bawm lay lifeless
in the ring. The crowd is stunned silent, partly because of the sickening crack
heard when Santinis steel Equalizer met with Bawms skull and partly
because of the amount of blood gushing out of Bawms head. The cold, uncompassionate
look in Santinis eyes isnt a big help either.)
FJ: Ladies and Gentlemen, I sit here speechless.
HS: We cant believe what weve just seen. Even the crowd is shocked.
FJ: Bawm isnt moving, Herb. Someone get the EMTs out here NOW!
HS: I thought Id never hate Dave Santini as much as I do now. All the
great things this man has done have, in my opinion, just shot out the window.
And Im afraid Dave Santini just doesnt care.
(Even C-Rock and Poppa are at a shock. In fact, the only people seemingly in
the arena who arent shocked at this are Santini himself and Dark Warrior.
Santini orders his men to follow him out of the ring and Santini holds up the
bloodied Equalizer. EMTs quickly rush out to Bawms aid as Santini
stops over Bryan Peek. He then bends down, looks curiously at the blood covering
his weapon, and then wipes it off on Peeks A.I. shirt before catching
up to his Blueprint members. The camera cuts to Frank and Herb as the EMTs
tend to Bawm.)
HS: Well, we won't show you any more of this at this moment. While Adam Bawm
is being attented to, we will wet your appetite for the first half of our double
main event. Its going to be Mortis Valley, putting up his United States
title, and his freedom, against Travis Gray, for the complete ownership of the
AWA! Lets see how this all came together.
(Things begin to show the time where Mortis came back last May. You saw where
he spoke about what has happened. Things then go to various statements by Travis
Gray, badmouthing Mortis, and mocking him in how he destroyed his business,
and his life. You then see his various insults towards Morticia, each one, even
more sinister than the last, as well as various things Gray has done to Mortis,
attacking him from behind, him setting Mortis up so Low could put the bag over
his head, and of course the glass jar being smashed in Mortis face.
Things then go to the following Xplosion after that, as you see Mortis spit
in Grays face, then speak of how he has a proposition for him. Things
then go to the following Shock, as it reviews the confrontation by the two,
the apparent match, the stipulations, and finally the hand shake, with both
men, staring at one another, as things then pause, splitting them up as it shows
Mortis VS Gray with the various stipulations.
Things then go to a recording with the words Shock, last week as
it shows Mortis talking. It then reviews the part of Gray showing up at the
graveyard, Mortis running after him, and then the sub-sequential part of after
him defeating the various goons Gray sent after him, Gray smashing a metal shovel
over the back of his head, as he falls in an open grave, then nailing Rogue
in the face, knocking her in it as well. It then shows Gray standing there,
kicking the tombstone down, holding his arms up with an evil grin as things
then fade to the arena as the bell sounds.)
RING ANNOUNCER: The following, is the first of two AWA Classic Main Events!
This match, which is under street fight rules, can be won either by pin fall
or submission and is for the AWA United States title
(Loud cheers are heard.)
RING ANNOUNCER:
Mortis Valleys freedom
(Even more cheers are heard all around the arena.)
RING ANNOUNCER:
and finally, THE COMPLETE OWNERSHIP OF THE AMERICAN WRESTLING
ALLICANCE!
(The fans cheer for this LOUDLY in every part of the arena, as you hear hooting,
chanting and unbelievable, cheering, as nothing else can be heard but that.
Things though, finally begin to settle down as Hail to the King
begins to play out to HUGE heat. You see nearly every fan in the arena, stand
up, and begin to boo and hiss for the arrival of the president of the AWA.)
RING ANNOUNCER: First, he is an AWA hall of fame member. He is a former Hardcore
champion, a man known world wide for his craftiness and his relentlessness,
cutthroat practices to attain victory, ladies and gentlemen, the president and
owner of the AWA, Travis Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
(The fans continue to boo Gray, as he steps out, only having things increase
more, such that not Herb nor Frank can be heard at all. Gray holds out his hands,
with a sick gleeful look on his face, as fans suddenly begin to shower him with
trash. Gray scowls at this, as he suddenly brings a mic, that was already in
his hand, to his lips and speaks, as loud as he can, just barely heard over
the booing.)
GRAY: I dont think so! So you want to throw TRASH at me?! I dont
TAKE garbage, no, I THROW IT OUT! So security!
(Gray calls as several guards run over to him. He then points randomly at various
people as he yells into the mic.)
GRAY: Take those pieces of trash OUT OF MY ARENA now. R IGHT NOW! Go on, GET
RID OF THEM!
(Security obliges as they then begin to go through the crowd, for the people
Gray has pointed out, as the crowd CONTINUES to boo Gray VERY loudly, as the
commentators can STILL not be heard! Gray then makes his way down to the ring,
as you see security, finally catching up now with the chosen ones,
as they grab a hold of them, and begin to pull them down, so they can take them
out of the arena, as Gray, now in the ring, yells into the mic.)
GRAY: Thats right, take those son of a bitches out of here! They dont
DESERVE to be in MY arena!
(You soon see them being pulled away, towards the ramp, and it looks like out
another way of the arena, as Gray yells into the mic again.)
GRAY: So tonight is the night, huh Valley? Yes, tonight is THE night Mortis,
that I WILL make you bend down and kiss my bare ass! Thats right, once
I beat you, I am going to HUMILATE YOU, on the biggest show of all of them in
the AWA, Classic! But dont worry Mortis, youll get use to it, I
mean, youll only be doing it for the rest of your pathetic, Lucy-less
life!
(Gray chuckles evilly as the fans boo him. He though, pauses as he speaks again.)
GRAY: Now, I do have some sad news to report
. Yes, it seems
that just before I came here, I was informed that Grand Mother Gray has passed
away
(The fans boo a bit less, out of respect for her. Gray nods as he speaks a
bit more.)
GRAY: Yes, well, see, shes really poor and cant afford a funeral
or a grave. But no worries, because I know just of one! So Mortis, after you
are done LOSING to me, and done KISSING MY ASS, I will have you dig up YOUR
DEAD WIFE FROM HER GRAVE! I mean, its not like shes doing much of
anything, anyway
or ever did for that matter!
(The fans boo him the loudest you have ever heard, as it goes on for a full
two minutes, fans booing him, throwing garbage at him, giving him the finger,
among other things, as all the security that is left, is trying their best to
stop what maybe a full riot!)
HS & FJ: My god!
HS: That is THE sickest thing I have ever heard! He is going to make Mortis
dig up his wifes grave and replace her with another person!
FJ: Even I admit thats going WAY too far and so are the fans too!
(Gray continues to laugh maniacally almost when suddenly, his face turns from
that, to surprise, as things dart back to the entrance way. You suddenly see
all the people who were escorted out of the arena, suddenly run back into it,
running into the crowd, meeting up with friends and family again. Gray looks
at this with a what look, as suddenly, you see security back-tailing
as Mortis shows up at the entrance way to the LOUDEST cheers you have ever heard!
Every fan is on his or her feet, applauding, holding up Mortis signs and cheering
his name, as Calling From Heaven plays up, albeit barely audible
at all. He begins to make his way down, when suddenly he turns around and gives
a cmon gesture with his fingers, as suddenly, out comes Rogue
to huge cheers as well, as she walks over to Mortis side, as they walks
down to the ring, being announced along the way.)
RING ANOUNCER: His opponent, along with Rogue, he hails from Calgary, Alberta.
Canada. He weighs in at 235 pounds, and stands 61. He is a former two
time world heavyweight champion, a two time and reigning United States champion,
a former Tag team champion, a former TV champion, a former Hardcore champion,
and a former Light heavyweight champion, making him the second ever grand slam
champion, ladies and gentlemen, The Rage, The Dark Angel, The Extreme Machine,
Moooooooooooooooortis VAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEY!!!
(The fans erupt once again in heavy cheers for their hero as Mortis is now
at the ring. He slides in, United States title in hand, as he then sits on the
ropes, letting Rogue come in. He then walks over to Gray, title over his shoulder,
as the ref gets in between them and explains the rules. Both men listen to it,
barely as they continue to lock eyes, as the ref, done explaining, rings the
bell. Rogue goes over and kisses Mortis gently on the cheek, as she wishes him
luck, with Mortis handing her the United States title. She then gets out of
the ring, as Mortis and Gray lock eyes again. Both men begin to jaw jack, as
then begin to step up to each other, face to face, nose to nose, when suddenly
Gray gives a look of disgust and goes to slap Mortis, only for Mortis to catch
it and slap Gray HARD to a LOUD oooooooo from the crowd! Gray takes
a few steps back, holding his face as he walks forward, turning back towards
Mortis, who spears him down as he then begins to level him with a series of
vicious punches! He then pulls up as he runs to the ropes and comes down with
a vicious knee to Grays face. Then jumps up, and nails a leg drop! Gray
rolls around to the edge of the ring, as he begins to use the ropes to pull
himself up, as the ref tries to get in front of Mortis, only for Mortis to shove
him aside and kick Gray in the ribs so hard he flies up two feet in the air
before crashing down to the mat again!)
HS: Man, Mortis is showing that old vicious side of him tonight. And who can
blame him, not only because of whats at stake, but what Gray has said
and done in the past few months?
(Mortis leans over on top of Gray now, as he rears back and explodes with a
volley of open fist punches to the side and the back of the head of Grays
face. Gray holds the back of his head both in protection and in pain, as Mortis
pulls him up from behind with his hair, and does a curling punch right into
the face of Gray full force as Mortis lets go, with the upper half of
Grays face and body falling right back down to the mat!)
FJ: Stop this! Mortis is insane!
HS: Hey, this is what Gray wanted and agreed to. Besides, after everything
he has said and done, he deserves this and a LOT MORE!
(Mortis pulls Gray back up, how is shaky on his feet, as he then kicks Gray
right in the stomach, as Gray flies into the nearby ropes, then comes back with
right into a drop kick in the chest by Mortis, which has him bounce off the
ropes again, then another right to the head of Gray, as you see it snap back
to HUGE cheers from the crowd as Gray flies back into the ropes, then falls
down to almost a sitting position, his upper body bouncing on the middle rope
as he does so, as it bounces forward almost sitting up, only for Mortis, who
has run to the other side of the ropes, to come back and nail Gray once again
right in the face stiffly, as his body flies back to the bottom rope, slightly
bounces up but not all the way as it comes down again, before he crumbles to
the mat! The fans are going nuts, letting out HUGE Mortis chants.
Mortis though, does NOT let up, as he begins to pull Gray up, who suddenly
respond with a quick low blow, as Mortis falls to all fours, with Gray falling
to the mat again, breathing heavily. Mortis begins to try to recover, as does
Gray, who, using the ropes, goes to try to pull himself up, but slowly, Mortis
fists of fury, and drop kicks of doom so to speak, obviously having an affect
on him. Still he, goes to pull himself off, as Mortis gets up, still bent over,
then launches himself towards Mortis for a swinging neck breaker, only for Mortis
to swing around with him, throw him to the ropes, and as Gray comes back, nails
him with a vicious round house kick, as Gray flies right down to his knees,
his face crashing onto the mat, as Mortis, takes a few steps back against the
ropes, waiting for Gray to slowly get up and as Gray is just high enough up,
runs and smacks the back of his leg onto the back of Grays head, as he
flies down, face first hard from Mortiss scissors kick! The fans cheer
this move, clapping loudly for the heavy fan favorite as Mortis stalks around
Gray.
Mortis waits for Gray to get up, waiting possibly a good half a minute, for
the president to finally get some sense of where he is, then as he is getting
up, runs full force, grabbing Grays head and arm, then runs right towards
the turnbuckle but with amazing agility jumps up and over the top rope, swaying
towards the left as you see Gray fly right into the cold, hard, metal turnbuckle
face first with no protection whatsoever!)
FJ: This is sick! Mortis is sick! And listen to these fans cheer him, they
are sick as well!
HS: Like I said, Gray has deserved every bit of this! But man, lets take
another look at this new, innovative way Mortis has used one of his oldest moves!
(A replay is show exactly as what happened before, with you seeing Gray flying
face first, full speed right into the turnbuckle, and then flying back down
to the mat. Things go back to the real match, as they show Gray holding his
face, possibly broken now as Mortis grabs the ropes, and jumps up to the turnbuckle
in one leap, then points at Gray, then to all the fans who cheer him madly,
as he dives off it, nailing a flying elbow strike RIGHT TO THE FACE OF GRAY!
You see Gray let out a cry, as he holds his face in pain, as Mortis then slides
to the outside.)
FJ: Whats he doing now?
HS: Uh oh
hes getting a chair!
FJ: Ref, stop him!
HS: He cant! Its within the rules!
(Mortis, chair in hand, slides back in the ring, as you see Gray still holding
his face. Mortis then walks up to him, standing over his head, as he pulls the
chair back, and rams it right into the face of Gray, as you see Grays
feet shoot up in pain, as well as the rest of his body! He continues to squirm
a bit, as Mortis then pulls the chair back up again, this time the flat side,
and then slams it down HARD onto the face of Gray, whose body jolts, then relaxes.
Mortis then places the chair right on the top of Grays face to heavy cheers
from the crowd. He then runs towards the nearby turnbuckle, jumps up to the
nearby rope, then does a flip to the other one perpendicular, and then finally
a jump back to the original one, launching off it as he flying half way across
the ring right into a vicious leg drop, on top of the chair on top of Grays
face, as the fans EXPLODE once again into heavy cheers for Mortis!)
HS: My lord, he just dented that chair with his patented triple jump leg drop!
(Mortis rolls around a bit, obviously taking a good bit of abuse from that
move himself, but suddenly rolls around on top of Gray, as the ref finally goes
down to end this madness, 1.
........2.
.but
suddenly you see the ref get pulled out of the ring, as you see Dark Warrior
there, who nails him right in the face! The fans boo this HEAVILY, but not as
much that, but because Poppa is right behind Mortis. Mortis stands up, yelling
at Dark Warrior, who smirks a bit, as Mortis is then swung around, kicked in
the ribs, and picked up for The Big Up, only as he tries to swing Mortis around,
for Mortis to fly back down to his feet. Poppa then swings around, right into
Mortis who grabs a hold of him, picks him up and plants him hard with a move
looking like a Rock Bottom!)
HS: That looks to be yet a new move added to arsenal!
(Mortis then stands up, but only for a moment, as you suddenly see C-Rock,
who during this, has slid in the ring, chair in hand, and as Mortis turns around,
rams it HARD into the ribs of Mortis, throws it down, grabs a hold of Mortis,
and plants him, fact first on the chair with the regulator, to HUGE boos from
the crowd!)
FJ: And looks like C-Rock has an old one he has used again!
(Suddenly, just as C-Rock is done, you see Dark Warrior come off the top rope
with the High Death, splashing Mortis on to the chair. Both men then pull the
chair off of Gray, as you see a mask of fresh blood on his face from Mortis
last move, and drag his near unconscious body, over to Mortis, whom then turn
over, also busted open. They then place Gray right on top of Gray, as both men
quickly get to the outside, to get the ref, who is still lying on the outside,
back in the ring! They get a hold of him, and get him back in the ring, as they
quickly drag him over to Gray covering Mortis. They then shake the ref, who
is recovering, as he then begins to count.)
FJ: Yes, yes, good bye Mortis!
1.
..............
HS: No, dont let it end like this!
2.
.........................3-no!
Mortis kicks out at the VERY last second to HUGE applause and sighs of relief
from the crowd. Dark Warrior and C-Rock look on in complete disbelief as they
then attempt to go for Mortis, who has rolled to the ropes again, as Mortis,
who is now getting up, ducks under a clothesline by Dark Warrior, flipping him
to the outside with such for he flies right into the guard rail on the outside,
crashing hard, but Mortis then gets kicked in the stomach by C-Rock as he goes
for another regulator! Mortis though, pulls C-Rocks legs out from under
him, then leans back, as he catapults C-Rock right into the ropes, as C-Rock
strikes them throat first, and takes a few dazed steps back, as Mortis then
nails him in the back, grabs a hold of him as if for his version of a dragon
sleeper, holding it on for a few seconds, before suddenly swinging around for
his variation of Roll of the Dice as you see C-Rocks head
crash into the mat, as C-Rock then rolls out of the ring!)
HS: Yes! Another new move by Mortis!
(Mortis stands up again, as you then hear LOUD boos strangely enough, only
to see that Gray is right behind Mortis now, wavering back and forth, but standing,
face bloody, a chair in his hands. Mortis then turns around, as Gray goes to
swing, but Mortis ducks and swings to Grays side, as he suddenly grabs
Gray from behind, pulls him up, and brings him down HARD with a vicious Dragon
Suplex! He hangs on though, as he slowly rolls himself and Gray to their feet,
picks him up and brings him down, hard again for another Dragon Suplex! He still
hangs on, and, albeit it slower, pulls Gray up again, then brings him down with
ANOTHER one, all the fans in the arena, rooting him on, encouraging Mortis to
give yet another, which Mortis, despite tired from the energy used to do such
a move, rolls Gray over, picks him up and brings him down yet AGAIN for another
dragon suplex, yet he STILL HOLDS ON as he pulls Gray up, and then throws him
down with a FIFTH Dragon Suplex, but STILL REFUSING TO BREAK THE HOLD!)
HS: My god, I dont think he will EVER stop!
(Suddenly you hear HUGE boos as you see Dave Santini, equalizer in hand, run
down to the ring.)
FJ: Oh, I think he will!
(Mortis goes to pull Gray up for yet another dragon suplex, very slowly, struggling
to get himself and Gray to his feet. He does though, slowly get to his feet,
but just as he is rising up, to deliver another one, suddenly you see Dave run
towards him, smashing the equalizer in his face! Mortis immediately falls, holding
his face in pain, as Dave nails him with a few stiff body blows with the equalizer!)
HS: Cmon! Hasnt that man already done ENOUGH tonight?!
(Frank laughs in respond, as Dave holds the equalizer up again, as if to nail
Mortis in the face once more, when suddenly, you see the equalizer ripped out
of his hand, the fans cheering wildly for Rogue, who throws it down, across
the ring! Dave turns around, and nails her with a punch to the face, knocking
her right out of the ring, as you see him, cursing at her. He then turns around
to Mortis, who is trying to get to his feet to fight, as Dave nails a few, quick,
harsh blows, as he then pulls Mortis up to his feet, picks him up and over as
he takes a few steps back, adjusting Mortis, then brings him down hard, with
the Ravin Driver to HUGE heat from the fans! He though, does NOT stop,
as he pulls Mortis up again, who is barely able to move, then with his other
hand, throws the ref hard, the back of head striking the turnbuckle, who was
complaining, then grabs a hold of Mortis, picks him up all the way, then brings
him down with ANOTHER Ravin Driver! He then pulls Mortis up yet again,
who seems almost limp, picks him up, and then brings him down with a third Ravin
Driver as the fans are now throwing garbage in the ring at him! He just laughs
though, as he pulls Mortis limp body to the middle of the ring. He then
goes over to Mortis, possibly to nail him again, when suddenly, you see Rogue,
who has recovered from Daves shot, roll back in the ring and from behind,
nails him with a low blow as hard as one woman can nail him! Dave falls to the
mat in agony as he then rolls out of the mat to the outside as the fans show
support, by cheering and applauding Rogues action.)
FJ: That bitch!
HS: Hey now, watch the language. Besides, it was DAVE who got into this match
that doesnt involve him in the first place!
(Mortis is laid out in the middle of the ring, bloody pouring down him, as
Gray is lying over by a corner, breathing heavily, trying to recover from the
various suplex Mortis has delivered. The ref too, is out, trying to recover
himself as everyone lies in the ring, as the fans begin a Mortis chant, with
Rogue, slamming the mat, trying to encourage them on! This goes on for a good
two minutes, as finally, Mortis, Gray and the ref all start to move. Gray turns
to his stomach, breathing in and out, heavily, as Mortis goes to all fours,
almost breathing in and out heavily, blood dripping down his face and hair to
the mat. Gray now, begins to drag himself over to Daves equalizer still
in the ring. Slowly but surely he does, but Mortis doesnt see it, himself
trying to recover, as the fans encourage Mortis onward, as does Rogue, who also,
doesnt see Gray going for the nightstick, rather instead cheering Mortis
on!
Gray continues to make his way to the nightstick, finally landing on top of
it, covering it up with his body, as Mortis now gets to his feet, as he almost
flies back into the ropes, but bounces forward, somewhat steady. He then slowly
but surely, moves his way over to Gray, who is getting on his knees now, covering
the equalizer with his body, the fans now, not cheering Mortis, but yelling
him, trying to warn him. Mortis though, is still mostly out of it, and doesnt
hear it, as Rogue also cant see through Grays body, as Mortis slowly
but surely makes his way across then ring towards Gray. He then grabs a hold
of Grays hair and goes to pull him up, when suddenly Gray swings around
and nails Mortis with a stiff shot right in the ribs with the equalizer! You
see Rogue put her hands up as if to say oh no as Mortis leans over
in a great deal of pain as Gray then rises up, and strikes Mortis RIGHT IN THE
FACE with the equalizer, to the point it actually bends as Mortis flies down
to the mat, as if he were shot, as Gray discards the now bent equalizer! He
then pulls himself over to Mortis, as he then grabs the leg and covers, as the
fans begin to boo, 1.
..........................................2.
...........................3-NO!
Mortis KICKS OUT as the fans go nuts!)
FJ: Jesus Christ!
HS: My god, hes alive! Mortis Valley is ALIVE! Mortis Valley REFUSES
TO DIE ON THIS NIGHT!
(Mortis doesnt seem willing to die, as Gray shows, despite the dried
blood on his face, a completely shocked and horrified look on his face. He shows
a look of complete fear as he then goes to dart out of the ring, as he literally
jumps over the ring barrier to the outside!)
HS: That coward!
(Gray begins to run, making his way about half way through the crowd, you suddenly
see a couple of the bigger crowd members, some of them who were going to be
thrown out earlier, stop him. You then see a couple of other crowd members,
suddenly pick him up, as you see Gray cursing and screaming, calling for security,
who, right now seem scared to death to even attempt to go through the almost
rioting crowd, as the crowd then suddenly begins to hand Gray from one set of
crowd members to another, almost like a mosh pit, as they slowly but surely
move him back towards the ring, to Mortis, who is now up and at the outside
waiting. They then dump him over the guard rail, near Mortis, in which Gray
turns around and begins cursing them, giving the finger and threatening them,
only for the fans to do the same to him. He then turns around, only to see Mortis
there, for leers for him, only for Travis to duck, and run into the ring! Mortis
then goes after him, as he runs for Gray, who has now picked up the bent equalizer,
and goes to swing it at Mortis face, only for Mortis to duck, jump to the top
rope and do a back flip, grabbing Gray as he does and brings him down, crashing
Grays head against his knee, right into the arched Dragon Sleeper! He
then locks it on, as Gray wiggles his arms, but fleetingly as they soon stop,
as the ref goes to check on Gray, picks up one arm, then lets it drop. He picks
up the arm again, and lets it drop again. He picks it up a third time, but suddenly
Mortis picks Gray up, turns him around into a double under hook pile driver,
jumps up and drills him with it viciously! He though still doesnt stop,
with the fans and Rogue all behind him as he pulls Gray up, and drags Grays
near unconscious body towards the turnbuckle. He then picks up the dented chair
and puts it right into Grays face, getting it stuck between the ropes.
He then goes to run towards the ropes when suddenly he ducks an attempted clothesline
from the recovered Dave Santini, then as Dave turns around, kicks him hard in
the stomach, as Dave falls to his knees then tries to get up, only for Mortis
to grab a hold of him with a double underarm hook, jump up, and swing around,
bringing Dave down with a Double underarm DDT as hard as one man can, with fans
erupting in cheers at this, as Dave jerks a bit holding his head as he rolls
out of the ring!
Mortis then turns his attention back to Gray as he runs to the ropes, then back
to the other ones, then back to the original runs then back towards ran as he
jumps and kicks the chair and Grays head as hard as one man every could,
as you hear a LOU, almost sickening CLANG of Grays head striking the turnbuckle,
only beaten by the audience who explodes in cheers, all on their feet, cheering,
applauding and encouraging Mortis!)
HS: My god, that has to be THE most vicious move I have EVER seen in my life!
FJ: Grays head bounced on that turnbuckle, you heard it, you heard the
loud clang! Oh my god, Grays gone!
HS: Not yet, but it looks like he is going to be!
(Gray is slumped over, the chair, now laying where he is, a huge dent from
Mortis kick, and covered with blood, coming from Grays face that
is running down his face, and chest. Mortis goes over, and pulls Grays
limp body up, to HUGE cheers from the crowd, as he drags his body to the center
of the ring, grabbing him almost for a DDT, as he points his finger out to the
crowd, holding onto Gray as he swings around, a full circle, pointing to all
the crowd as if to say this is for you!, the fans cheers, becoming
louder and louder as Mortis goes through the circle, as if it was a controller
on a stereo, as Mortis then grabs Gray, sticks him between his legs, hooks both
his arms and plants him hard with the MVD! The fans cheer in unison as Mortis
goes to cover, 1.
..2.
.but
Mortis pulls his head up, shaking no, as the fans applaud him, cheering him
on to do more damage to Gray!)
FJ: These fans ARE sick! Look at Gray, he is UNCONSCIOUS! His face may be BROKEN
and they want Mortis to do even more to him!
(Mortis pulls Gray up again in the DDT position, as he points to Rogue, who
applauds him, cheering him on, then sets Gray up with another double under hook
and plants him again. The fans continue to cheer Mortis on, as Rogue continues
to cheer and clap for him. He covers once again, as the ref gets into position
to count, 1.
....................................2.
..but
Mortis pulls Grays bloody head up again!)
HS: No, he doesnt want it to end still!
(Mortis pulls Gray up again this time setting him up for another MVD, but then
pauses, in which he suddenly turns Gray around as if for a reverse DDT, then
lets out a yell, as he points upwards to the most applause you heard all night!)
HS: This one is for you Lucy is what he is saying!
(Mortis then suddenly swings around and nails Gray with the Dark Heart of the
Business, Morticias old finisher, as he then covers Gray once again, every
fan, Rogue, even Herb and Frank counting in unison, ONE!
....................TWO!
...THREE!
The bell sound as the fans root for Mortis loudly, his theme music, not even
heard because the cheers are so loud, as he rolls to a sitting position, pointing
up at the sky, as Rogue gets in the ring and hugs Mortis, as Mortis still points
to the sky as he then stands up, holding his hand up there, still pointing to
the sky as Rogue continues to cheer him, the fans now chanting Lucys name,
as Rogue, with one arm hugging Mortis, the other with a fist pulling it back
and forth in rhythm with the chants, with Mortis doing the same a bit, but instead
pointing to the sky. Finally, it settles down as his arm comes around and he
hugs Rogue who hugs him back for a good ten or fifteen seconds before suddenly
they look at each other and kiss each other, as every fan in the arena once
again goes nuts, cheering this, rooting loudly! They then let go, but hold hands
as Mortis and Rogue hold their arms up in victory as the fans continue to cheer
him. He then lets go as he slides to the outside, with Rogue clapping for him
madly, as he walks over towards the guard rail as you see him hi-five one man,
while another man, former AWA superstar and partner of Mortis, SPF, pat him
on the back.)
HS: I understand that man shaking Mortis hand now, is Sidewinder, one
of his oldest friends, who while retired, has, come back to the wrestling world
for one night only to see Mortis compete! And compete he did!
(Mortis shakes SPF hand as well, as you see behind him, another man, Lonewolf,
politely clapping his hands for Mortis, giving him the nod as Mortis then begins
to high-five some other fans in the arena, going all around the arena, before
he then slides back inside the ring! He then walks up towards the turnbuckle,
climbs up it and puts an arm up in victory as the fans continue to cheer for
him. He then gets off, as he goes to the opposing turnbuckle and does the same
for those fans, as all the fans continue to cheer him. He then does it for the
turnbuckle to the right of him, as that too get loud applause from all the fans
in the arena, and finally the one across it, as every fan seems to be on their
feet still, clapping and cheering on their hero. He then walks over to the middle
of the ring, looking as if he is talking to Rogue, when suddenly he picks her
up, and holds her up high on his shoulder as he stands up, holding his other
arm out in victory in the middle of the ring, as she holds both her hands up,
as every fan is on their feet, cheering and clapping as loudly as they can,
as you see things slowly fade to the back, first to the heels locker room.
You see various horrified faces, but also some pleased faced surprisingly enough,
as they chant, some in happiness, some unhappily, as Mortis pins Gray for the
final time
ONE
..TWO
.THREE, as several
of those with disdained and upset looks walk off, but others who dont
have such looks, begin to high five each other, looking a bit pleased at the
turn of events! Things then go to the faces locker room, as the word replay
is seen in the bottom right corner, as you see every face now counting with
the crowd as Mortis is pinning Gray, ONE
TWO
THREE,
in which everyone begins to cheer wildly for this, many of them opening bottles
of champagne, spinning it over each others heads, drinking it, and begin
an all out, party, yelling, screaming, singing in unison the song first, Nah
nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah, Hey Hey Hey, GOOD BYE! Then things go back
to real time, as you see Mortis and Rogue, who has just finally made their way
to the back, as you see the group still partying, walks in, as they drop a tank
full of beer over him, as they begin to sing For hes a jolly good
fellow! as they continue to party, as Mortis and Rogue have an arm around
each other as things go back to the ring for the final match!)
HS: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for our main event, here at AWA
Classic 2003. The Legendary Low will defend his AWA World Heavyweight title
against the Big Gun of Elimination Enterprises, Snakebite. And this is how it
all unfolded.
(A video package starts playing, highlighting the feud between Low and Snakebite.
At first, we see scenes from their match in June, where Snakebite pinned Low
just days before King Of The Kage after a chair shot from President Gray accidentally
hit Low instead of Snakebite. Then we see Low challenging Snakebite for a match
at Classic at the end of a recent episode of Shock. This is followed by scenes
from the Ice Cream Social, with Snakebite and Nadia ending up covered in ice
cream. Finally, we see scenes from last week's Shock. First, Low maskerading
as Snakebite and interfering in his match with Jayson Price, then Snakebite
coming to Jack Happy's help and chasing Low away from the ring. The video package
ends with a graphic of the two men and their managers.)
HS: This is Low's first pay-per-view title defense of his third reign. But
more importantly, this is Snakebite's first World title shot on pay-per-view
ever.
FJ: And it might very well be his last one.
HS: Anyway, let's wait for our contestants to enter the stadium.
( "Big Gun" by AC/DC starts playing as we see various scenes from
The Southern Gentleman play out over the AWAtron, as the fans explode in loud
cheers.)
HS: What an ovation for the challenger! It's mind-boggling, as it seems that
almost 100.000 people are cheering for this one man.
(Nadia is the first one to step out from the back. She stops, turns and starts
applauding Snakebite as he emerges from the back. Snakebite, dressed in his
white Jesse James Gang-style coat, and his white hat, kisses Nadia's hand before
they both start walking down the long aisle. The two reach the ring and walk
up the steps. Snakebite is holding the ropes for Nadia and then tips his hat
at the crowd before entering the ring himself. He removes his cane, his coat,
his white gloves to reveal black gloves, and then finally, his hat.)
HS: Look at the look in Snakebite's eyes. He is ready to pay Low back, and
most importantly, win the AWA World title for the first time.
(Weeping Wall starts playing and the cheers immediately turn into
deafening boos. Ramona A. Stone is the first one to step out, but Low isn't
far behind. The restless sounds of Weeping Wall are almost drowned
out by the boos, as Ramona and Low, World title belt around his waist, make
their way down the aisle. Ramona jaws with several fans along the way, but Low
is fully concentrated. The two reach the ring, walk up the steps and then enter
the ring on opposing sides.)
FJ: OUR World Champion looks like he is determined to keep his gold, Herb.
HS: Yes, he is, but I don't doubt Snakebite is any less determined. Let's go
to our ring announcer.
(The two men are standing in opposite corners, the women right next to them.
In center ring the ring announcer readies himself to introduce the two combatants.)
RING ANNOUNCER: Ladies and gentlemen, this is the main event of AWA Classic
2003. It is scheduled for one fall and it is for the American Wrestling Alliance
World Heayvweight Championship.
Introducing first, the challenger: accompanied by Nadia, from San Antonio,
Texas, standing 5`9 and weighing 225 pounds. He is a former United States
Champion, a 2-time Hardcore Champion and a 4-time World Tag Team Champion. Ladies
and gentlemen, presenting Elimination Enterprises' Big Gun, The Southern
Gentleman SNAKEBITE!
(The fans again erupt in loud cheers as Snakebite nods to them again.)
RING ANNOUNCER: His opponent: accompanied by The Queen Bitch Ramona
A. Stone, from New York City, New York, standing 6`2 and weighing 255
pounds. The first-ever Grand Slam Champion and 3-time and reigning AWA World
Heavyweight Champion, THE LEGENDARY LOW!
(The fans boo Low probably louder than they ever have, but Low just glances
at them briefly before returning his attention to Snakebite. The referee signals
the two men to join him in the middle of the ring. He explains them the rules
and then asks Low to hand him the World title belt. Low does, but not without
giving the belt a possibly final look. The referee holds the belt high into
the air, which gets a loud round of applause from the fans. He then signals
for the bell and the match is underway. Low and Snakebite keep staring at each
other and then start some trash-talking, none of which we can hear due to the
huge crowd at hand. Suddenly Low starts the match by slapping Snakebite. Snakebite
responds with a forearm to Low's head, sending him to the mat. Low is quickly
on his feet again, but Snakebite is all over him with lefts and rights to the
head. Snakebite pushes Low into the ropes, sends him over with an Irish whip
and then nails a knife edge chop to Low's bare chest to send him to the mat
again, as the crowd goes Whoooo! Snakebite follows up with another
chop... Whoooo!... a third chop... Whoooo!... a fourth chop... Whoooo! A fifth
chop, however, is countered when Low ducks it and elbows Snakebite right into
the side of the ribs. Low follows that elbow up with another one, and then a
series of knees to Snakebite's midsection. He picks Snakebite up for a bodyslam,
but Snakebite holds on and rolls through with a small package that gets him
1..... 2..... and a close kick out from the World Champion.)
HS: Both men are trying to gain the initial advantage, but so far nobody has
managed to do so. But Snakebite almost got the quick surprise pinfall there.
FJ: Just a fluke. Low is playing with him.
HS: Right.
(Low grounds Snakebite with a well-placed clothesline, then drops his elbow
over the challenger's chest three times. Low covers, but only gets a one-count.
He then walks over to Snakebite's legs and starts stomping them until the referee
pulls him away. Low, however, is relentless and kicks Snakebite's knees a few
more times before pulling him towards the ropes. He then places both of his
opponent's legs over the bottom rope and takes turns jumping onto them, using
the middle rope to launch himself up. Low pulls Snakebite back into the middle
of then ring and goes for a figure four leglock, but Snakebite is able to roll
him up again and this time gets 1..... 2..... kick out! Both men are on their
feet and Snakebite goes for a clothesline, but Low grabs his arm and takes him
to the mat with a Fujiwara armbar. Low pulls back on the arm, but not for long,
as he releases the arm, turns around, grabs Snakebite's ankle and applies an
ankle lock.)
FJ: Low is doing the smart thing and concentrates on one body part.
HS: He seems to be working over the legs so he can apply the Low Profile.
FJ: You REALLY think so, Herb?
HS: Shut up, Frank!
(In the ring, Snakebite is slowly but steady making his way towards the ropes.
But just as he seems to be able to grab the bottom rope, Ramona suddenly appears
and uses both her arms to pull the rope away from Snakebite. This doesn't last
long, however, as Nadia is immediately there and avenges Ramona's recent attack
by grabbing her by the hair and smashing her head first into the ring post.
Just as Snakebite reaches the ropes on his own, Low releases the hold and walks
over to where Nadia is standing over Ramona. He yells at her, but she just looks
at him. Low has no time to do anything else, as Snakebite grabs him from behind
and nails him with a Russian leg sweep. Snakebite then rolls around, still holding
Low in the same position, gets up and hits a second Russian leg sweep. He rolls
over one more time, pulls Low up again and hits the third Russian leg sweep,
to the fans' loud cheers.)
HS: Low has made an untypical mistake and it cost him.
FJ: How could that EE witch attack the unsuspecting Ramona from behind?
HS: Frank, it was Ramona who interfered first!
FJ: She never touched anyone!
(Low is slowly getting up again and Snakebite wastes no time sending Low into
the ropes. Snakebite tries to hit a lariat, but Low ducks it and both men run
on. Both bounce off the ropes and in center-ring, Low hits a lariat of his own.
He goes for a cover and gets 1..... 2..... kick out. Both men are back up and
Snakebite gets the advantage by simply ramming his knee into Low's stomach.
Low is doubled over and Snakebite wraps his arms around Low's waist and hits
a beautiful gutwrench suplex. Cover gets Snakebite 1..... 2..... and a kick
out. Snakebite now waits for Low to get up, which he slowly does. As Low turns
around, Snakebite goes for a savate kic, but Low ducks, takes a few quick steps
back and hits a superkick of his own. Low falls to his knees, but immediately
gets back up and walks towards the corner. Low climbs to the top turnbuckle
and then looks into the crowd. He then jumps off and goes for a frog splash,
but Snakebite rolls out of the way and Low hits the mat. Snakebite is quickly
up on his feet and waits for Low to follow him. He grabs the World Champion
and drives his head into the mat with a DDT. Snakebite wastes no time, however,
and pulls Low up once again. He puts Low's head between his legs, pulls him
up and hits a piledriver. The cover gets 1..... 2..... No! Low gets his leg
over the bottom rope.)
FJ: Low knows exactly how to save his energy.
HS: Yeah, or maybe he was to weak to kick out properly after Snakebite drove
his head into the mat twice within a minute.
FJ: Nah, he's just saving energy.
(Low is back up and Snakebite wraps his arm around Low's head. He then hooks
one leg, lifts Low up and hits a fisherman suplex for 1..... 2..... kick out!
Snakebite follows this up with an inverted atomic drop, but he doesn't release
Low after the first and instead hits a second atomic drop. Low is on his feet
but stumbling through the ring. Snakebite uses Low's lack of orientation to
his advantage and comes from behind. He drive his thumb into the side of Low's
throat and applies the Oriental spike. Low quickly drops to the mat.)
FJ: That hold is illegal! He chokes Low!
HS: What are you talking about, this is a perfectly legal nerve hold.
(The referee checks on Low and lifts his arm. The arm drops for 1..... then
drops again for 2..... but suddenly Snakebite releases the hold as he sees Ramona
walking up to Nadia. Snakebite isn't quick enough to warn her, however. Ramona
grabs Nadia's arm, spins her around and sprays hairspray right into her eyes.
Nadia drops screaming to the mat and Snakebite immediately steps outside the
ring to chase Ramona away. He kneels down and takes care of Nadia.Low, however,
has slowly crawled over to where Snakebite is kneeling, his back turned towards
Low, and has reached out between the middle and bottom ropes to grab Snakebite's
mask! He's pulling back on it, leaving Snakebite no choice but to move up and
away from Nadia, as we can already see the naked jaw of Snakebite. Low pulls
him into the ring between the ropes and then up to his feet. A thumb to the
eye later and Low has picked Snakebite up into a bodylsma position. However,
he lifts him up even higher, almost in a vertical position, and then drops him
on his head with a Northern lights bomb. On the outside, Ramona is empties a
bottle of water over Nadia's head.)
HS: Yeah, now she is all brave!
FJ: Come on, Herb, it has to be obvious to you that Ramona is sorry for the
hairspray accident...
HS: Accident?
FJ: ...the hairspray accident, and is now trying her best to wash that hairspray
out of Nadia's eyes.
HS: Right.
(Back inside the ring the referee has helped Snakebite adjust his mask again.
Low meanwhile has climbed onto the top rope again and as soon as the referee
is out of the way jumps off and hits a flying elbow drop on Snakebite. Cover
gets 1..... 2..... and a kick out. Low is now leaning against the ropes, waiting
for Snakebite to stand up. As Snakebite turns around, Low picks him up, spins
around and hits a spinebuster. Low then immediately grabs Snakebite's foot,
spins around and applies the figure four leglock.)
HS: It took him two attempts, but now Low was able to apply the figure four.
(Snakebite is again trying to reach the ropes, but Low has applied the hold
so that Snakebite is in the middle of the ring, while he himself is very close
to the ropes. Low uses his position in the ring and grabs the ropes for leverage.
Snakebite screams in pain and sits up, pointing at Low. Low himself sits up
and then starts slapping Snakebite. This, however, only seems to enrage The
Southern Gentleman. He grabs Low's hair and pulls his head towards himself before
nailing a quick series of right fists to Low's head. Low releases the figure
four and Snakebite somehow manages to maneuver himself quickly to Low's side
to apply a cross-armbreaker. Low, however, quickly grabs the bottom rope with
his free arm and Snakebite has to release the hold. Snakebite waits for Low
to get up to his feet, which he does using the ropes for leverage. Snakebite
then comes from behind and wraps his arms around Low's waist, going for a German
suplex, but Low holds on to the ropes and then elbows Snakebite right into the
face. Low then switches positions and now goes for a German suplex himself,
but Snakebite wraps his leg around Low's and thus prevents Low from being successful.
Snakebite stomps Low's foot, then nails him with an elbow of his own, switches
positions again and thsi time hits the German suplex as the fans erupt in loud
cheers. He holds on, rolls around, gets up and hits a second German suplex on
Low. Snakebite repeats the whole thing one more time and hits a third German
suplex, this time into a pinning position which gets 1..... 2..... and a kick
out.)
HS: What a great series of reversals from these two outstanding wrestlers.
FJ: I thought it was Szneizens.
HS: What?
FJ: Well, ask Rambo J!
(Meanwhile Snakebite has grabbed Low's leg and pulls him towards the corner.
Snakebite then slides out of the ring and pulls Low close to the ringpost, signaling
for a ringpost figure four leglock. Ramona tries to jump Snakebite from behind,
but Nadia, who by now has shaken the effects of the hairspray attack off, steps
in and pushes Ramona into the steel baricade. Low, however, is able to counter
by using his leg strength to push Snakebite into the barricade as well.)
FJ: Thank god he got out of that illegal maneuver.
HS: Well, Low isn't exactly playing by the rules either.
FJ: Yeah, great, isn't it?
(Snakebite has made his way back into the ring, but Low already awaits him
and hits a nasty-looking Yakuza kick. He then pulls Snakebite up and send him
back to the mat with a quick power bomb. Low holds on and rolls Snakebite up
for a cover and gets 1..... 2..... and a close kick out. Low starts an argument
with the referee, claiming this was already a three-count. Snakebite uses the
opportunity to get up again. He waits for Low to turn around and then grabs
him for a T-bone suplex, but Low counters with a series of elbows to Snakebite's
head and then gets behind him to apply a full nelson. Low then puts his foot
into the back of Snakebite's knee to force down to his knees. He then pushes
Snakebite forward and applies the sugar hold.)
FJ: Shades of the late Stu Hart, who perfected the sug...
HS: Stu Hart isn't dead.
FJ: Well, he looks like it.
HS: Frank, you are an embarrassment not only to this company, our profession
or this sport, but to the human race in general.
FJ: What did I do?
(Snakebite has managed to get one knee back up and is slowly pushing Low back
up as well. After a short struggle, they are both standing again, with Low still
applying a full nelson. Snakebite tries to struggle free, but Low suddenly lifts
him up and hits a tiger suplex as the referee counts 1..... 2..... and a very
close kick out. Low is angry again, as he thought for sure this would be it.
He walks over to Snakebite's feet, pulls them up, steps over and goes for the
Low Profile. Snakebite, however, pulls Low nearer to himself and then starts
headbutting him until Low releases Snakebite's legs and stumbles into the middle
of the ring. Snakebite then kicks Low into the stomach, hooks his arms and hits
a sit-down facebuster. Low is holding his face while Snakebite makes his way
up to the top rope. Low slowly turns around and then sits up, still holding
his face. As soon as Low takes his hands away from his, however, Snakebite jumps
off the top rope and hits a beautiful missile dropkick right into the seated
Low's face. The fans cheer Snakebite loudly, as he waits for Low to stand up.
Low slowly does and as he turns around, Snakebite kicks him right below the
kneecap, then into the ribs and then hits a spinkick right into Low's face.)
HS: Snakebitten, Snakebitten, Snakebitten!
FJ: What's wrong with you?
(Snakebite goes for the cover and gets 1..... 2..... 3! NO! Low has grabbed
the bottom rope! Snakebite, however, doesn't lose his cool and pulls the exhausted
Low up. He pulls him towards the corner and then sits him up on the top rope.
Snakebite follows Low up there and hooks his arms to go for the Venom Strike.
Low, though, counters with another series of elbows to Snakebite's head, causing
him to fall to the mat. As Snakebite gets back up again, Low launches himself
off the ropes and goes for a moonsault. Snakebite, however, ducks the moonsault,
yet Low is able to land on his feet. He then kicks Snakebite into the ribs and
goes for the Low Stunner. Snakebite counters by pushing Low off and into the
ropes. Snakebite goes for a clothesline, but Low ducks and gets behind Snakebite,
then hooks his arm and locks his own arm around Snakebite's jaw, before locking
his own fingers.)
HS: Low with a chicken wing-crossface!
FJ: No you jerk, he's pushing him to the mat! Low Standard, Low Standard, Low
Standard!
(Low indeed has applied the Low Standard. Snakebite is on the mat with Low
twsiting his arm and pulling him up, hurting his back. The referee asks Snakebite
if he wants to give up, but Snakebite shakes his head as much as he can in his
position. He tries to reach for the ropes, but they are just too far away. He
almost reaches them, but Low pulls back even more.)
HS: Snakebite is showing what a tough guy he is by trying to fight his way
out of this painful maneuver!
(Snakebite now has managed to get one leg up and under his body, almost throwing
Low off balance. But Low is able to shift his weight back so that Snakebite
is forced back to the mat again. Low pulls back harder and harder and after
a good 30 additional seconds, Snakebite has no choice but to tap out!!! Low
retains the World title.)
HS: NO!!!
FJ: YES! Low keeps the World title!
(Weeping Wall begins to play and Low releases the Low Standard.
Both Ramona and Nadia enter the ring, each going to their man and helping him
up. The referee hands the World title belt to Low, who raises it up with one
arm.)
RING ANNOUNCER: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match, and STILL the
AWA World Heavyweight Champion... THE LEGENDARY LOW!
FJ: Low has done it, he has defeated Snakebite in a tough match.
HS: Tough for both men, but they pretty much kept it within the rules and delivered
a hard-hitting match.
(Low and Ramona celebrate inside the ring as Snakebite and Nadia make their
way to the back. Low is holding the World title belt high up in the air as the
fans almost boo him out of the building.)
HS: Wrestling fans, AWA Classic 2003 is in the record books and we have been
part of yet another great Classic. Frank Jackson and Herb Summers say good night
