King of the Kage
(The PPV opens with a black screen. Slowly, a picture of Lars Fredrickson fades
in, then out. Then, a picture of Steve Barnes. Then a picture of Low. Then a picture
of Sabotage. Then a picture of Black Dragon. Following that, a picture of Dave
Santini. Next, a picture of Vapor Adams. Finally, a picture of Drake Hyde fades
in the out. Suddenly, the King of the Kage logo explodes onto the screen! The
theme music kicks in, and a fast paced montage of last years tournament cycles
through! The music finally dies down, and there is a short recap of the Punisher/Happy
story. The intro closes with a picture of Happy and Punisher standing nose to
nose. The shot then cuts to the sold out arena, where the crowd is roaring. The
shot then cuts to the announce table.)
Frank Jackson-Welcome folks, to our second ever King of the Kage tournament!
8 men start out, two end up in the cage, and one man walks away as the King!
Herb Summer-Not to mention we have the TV and World Heavyweight Titles on the
line, plus a Texas Death Match between former NAA members DeeJay and Jake Fox!
FJ-We have a massive show tonight, but we're going to start things out with
a blast! If you notice, instead of ropes, the ring is wrapped in barbed wire!
We're taking you first to the Texas Death Match!
Jake Fox vs. DeeJay
Texas Death Match
(Deejay and Jake Fox brawl there way out to ringside. They are delivering massive
blow, after massive blow.)
Frank: Wow! What a start for what looks to be an incredible match. Its
Deejay vs. Jake Fox in a Texas Death Match.
Herb: For those who have no clue what a Texas death match is , the ropes are
barbed wire, not rope!
( Deejay rams Foxs head into the stairs, busting him open. Fox retaliates
with a spear that knocks the wind out of Deejay. Both men rise and Fox runs
at Deejay, who picks fox up and slams him into the barbed wire. He then pancakes
Fox on the cement. Deejay throws Fox into the ring and follows. Deejay then
picks up Fox and hits a hard power bomb. He then Irish whips Fox into the barbed
wire and then drop kicks him onto the mat.)
Frank: What action! Deejay is really giving it to Fox.
Herb: Cmon Fox!
(Deejay picks Fox up and receives a low blow. Deejay is able to rise before
Fox and picks Fox up. He goes for a clothesline but is hung up on the wire by
Fox. Fox rolls outside and grabs a steel chair. He then rolls in as Deejay stands
up. He laces Deejay with the chair. He picks Deejay up and goes for another
shot but Deejay counters with a punch through the chair into Foxs face.
They both fall. Deejay starts to bleed, and by this time almost the entire ring
is blood red.)
Herb: What a match!
Frank: You could say that again.
Herb: What a match!
Frank: uhh! Sometimes you can be so ignorant!
(Deejay rises to his feet and bashes Foxs head into the turnbuckle. He
then takes Foxs head and drags it along the barbed wire until he has gone
around the entire ring. Fox is screaming in pain. Deejay then sets up a table
in the ring. He attempts to hiptoss Fox into the table, but Fox reverses it
and gets behind DeeJay, then plants DeeJay through the table with a Fox Bomb!.)
Frank: Jesus! There is blood everywhere!
( Deejay and Fox both rise and Deejay hits a cross body and pins. 1,2, kick
out! DeeJay grabs a chair, then throws the chair at Fox and jumps with a missile
dropkick aimed at Foxs head. He hits and once again covers. 1,2, kick
out! Deejay gets up frustrated and signals for the end. He then goes for the
Cradle Piledriver, but Fox reverses into a backdron with a bridge. Deejay kicks
out, and Fox drags DeeJay up to his feet. Fox whips DeeJay against the barbed
wire, tearing open DeeJay's back! Fox begins to throw forearms into DeeJay,
slamming the smaller man against the wire! Finally DeeJay ducks a big one, and
when Fox turns around he walks right into a hotshot from DeeJay! DeeJay drops
Fox neck first over the barbed wire, and the top wire breaks! Fox falls and
hits the second wire, and is now bleeding badly from his chest. He pulls himself
out of the mess of wire, and gets to his feet, only to walk right into the cradle
piledriver from DeeJay! 1,2,3 and DeeJay wins!!!)
Frank: What a match!
Herb: Yeah it was beautiful!
Frank: Really, it was but it was one of those matches where you get that uneasy
feeling in your stomach. What is Deejay doing?
( A battered Deejay calls out Abunai. Abunai runs out without hesitation and
they brawl. Security quickly runs out and breaks them up.
Frank: These guys really want to get it on!
Herb: Cmon, let them fight! I want more blood!
Frank: Youre a sick man Herb.
(The camera cuts to the parking garage entrance area. Cars surround the cameras
view, as well as the eerie dim light that always revolves around the inside
of a parking garage. Sunlight begins to flood the cameras view as it approaches
closer to the entrance way into the parking garage. As we arrive at the entrance,
we spot a very old Ford truck that is part white, and mostly rust colored. The
back fender is attached to the truck by a bit of twine and some duct tape, and
a gun rack is quite visible through the side window. The truck appears to be
blocking the entrance to the parking garage. Suddenly a ways back on the opposite
side of the truck, a large limousine begins to pull around to enter into the
parking garage, but then abruptly stops as the truck is in the way. Suddenly
one of the passenger doors swings open , and LWA CEO, Mr. Lars Fredrickson,
storms out of the limo. He quickly charges towards the front of the limo, opens
the drivers side door, and grabs the limo driver from the collar and forces
him out of the vehicle. The limo driver falls on the pavement dropping his hat,
but quickly stands back up. We then catch a glimpse of the limo drivers face,
and its revealed to be Shane Solomon! Mr. Fredrickson gives Solomon a
deep, hard glance. He then outstretches one long arm, and extends his finger,
pointing at the beat-up Ford truck that most fans remember as the Ol' 36er!!!)
Mr. Fredrickson(very angered): What the hell is that?!
Solomon: Looks like a truck...ummm...Sir.
Mr. Fredrickson: And what on EARTH is it doing blocking the MY entrance into
the arena?
Solomon: I...uhhh...ummm...
Mr. Fredrickson (through his teeth): I dont know what its doing
here, but get it OUT of here...NOW! Have it towed away, have it sent to an impound
yard...have it thrown in the Grand Canyon for all I care...just get it out of
my face!!...NOW SOLOMON!!
Solomon: Yes sir Mr. Fredrickson!
(Solomon quickly exits towards the building, as Lars heads back to the limo
to grab his bags.)
Mr. Fredrickson(under his breath): Those stupid fans using their Welfare-checks
to pay for tickets to MY Pay-Per-View, when they cant even afford a running
vehicle! The gull of some people...I tell ya
(Camera cuts back to ringside).
FJ-What a jerk... Are we on?
HS-Uh huh.
Black Dragon vs. Low
KOTK Rd. 1
FJ-Damn. Anyway, up next is a match internet fans have been talking about for
weeks. In our first King of the Kage match up, our tag team champions Black
Dragon and Low are going to face each other in what should be a technical masterpiece!
Herb Summers: Yawn, I hate BOTH these guys. Especially since they took out
the Family.
Frank Jackson: That's right just a week ago these two men were allies taking
the fight to the Family, a fight they won.
Herb Summers: Please, don't talked about that Frank, I'm still in mourning.
Frank Jackson: Whatever, in any case these two men have become friends in recent
weeks, and now they'll have to step into the ring, not as partners, not as the
tag champs, but as opponents.
Frank is cut off, when "The Heart's Filthy Lesson" by David Bowe
begins to play over the PA, and Low makes his way to the ring, followed by Ramona
A. Stone. Low gets a GIANT pop off the crowd, at ringside, he hands his belt
to Ramona, and slides into the ring. He raises his hands to the air, getting
another pretty good pop, before stretching his back against the ropes.
After a minute of this "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Alice Cooper rocks
the arena, and Black Dragon comes out to a HUGE pop. He walks calmly to the
ring, once there he hands his tag belt to the ring announcer, before sliding
into the ring.
Frank Jackson: Low and Dragon have had great matches before, lets see if they
can put on another show for us.
The two men stand in the center of the ring, before Dragon extends his hand
toward Low, Low accepts and the two men shake before the bell sounds. Low and
Dragon begin to circle, before locking into a collar and elbow tie up, Low gets
the advantage with a full arm drag and twist, while Dragon winces in pain. Low
wrenches the arm a couple times before releasing the hold, and stepping back.
Dragon slowly turns around, shaking the pain out of his arm, and stares across
the ring at his opponent.
Frank Jackson: Low displaying not only fine ring skills but also a good deal
of respect for his opponent.
Herb Summers: Low better stop all that respect crap if he wants to advance.
As much as I hate him, Dragon has skill.
Inside the ring, Low and Dragon lock up again, this time Dragon gets the advantage
due to a well placed knee in Lows rips. He backs Low into the corner, and nails
his with a vicious knife edge chop. And then another, and another. Low writhes
in pain but quickly snakes out and grabs a handful of Dragon's hair reversing
the situation, and begins laying into Dragon with knife edges of his own. Dragon
reverses, two more knife edge chops on Low. Low reverse three more chops to
Dragon. Dragon reverses again, two more chops, and then Dragon takes a step
back. He takes a second to measure Low, before NAILING a standing 'ranna, and
hooking the leg. 1...KICKOUT!
Dragon quickly stands, and pulls Low up by the hair, but Low hits several punches
to the mid section, causing Dragon to release him. Low bounces off the far ropes,
while Dragon back up almost against the ropes. Low comes in, Dragon catches
him, hip toss over the ropes, but Low lands standing on the apron. Dragon turns
around only to get a quick punch in the face by Low, before he locks in a front
chancery. Low has Dragon up for the suplex, but Dragon squirms free and lands
on the apron next to Low. Dragon locks in a full nelson, and its a DRAGON SUPLEX
TO THE FLOOR. The crowd screams wildly at the stop, while both men lie motionless
on the concrete.
Frank Jackson: MY GOD, THAT WAS THE MOST INCREDIBLE THING I'VE EVER SEEN!
Herb Summers: It wasn't that good, seen better.
The ref is making the count inside the ring. 1..2...Movement, Dragon is to
his knees, 3...4...Low's up to his knees....5....6...Both men going for the
ring....7....8..Both men slide in. Dragon is back up to his feet, and he pulls
Low up, Dragon runs at the far ropes, does a handstand with his legs hitting
the ropes causing him to bounce back with an elbow, but Low catches him, GERMAN
SUPLEX! Low bridges, 1...2..KICKOUT! Low wastes no time scrambling back to his
feet, where he quickly scales the turnbuckles and comes off with a knee from
the second rope. He slowly pulls Dragon to his feet, before whipping him into
the ropes. Low catches Dragon coming back in with a VICIOUS tilt-a-whirl backbreaker,
Dragon just folds over Low's knee, before falling to the mat. Low drops a fist
on Dragon's back, and then pops up to drop a knee in the same area. Dragon is
looking hurt on the mat, before Low drops another knee, and wraps him up in
a bow and arrow. He's really got it locked in tight, and Dragon writhes in agony.
Frank Jackson: What a back breaker by Low, and now he's really focusing on
the back of Dragon with that bow and arrow submission.
Herb Summers: Yeah, point out the obvious Frank, I think I'm going to sleep.
Low breaks the hold and stands he drops a couple well placed kicks into Dragon's
lower back, before pulling him up by the hair. Low lays in a few quick punches
into Dragon's head before once again whipping him into the ropes, he telegraphs
a backbody drop, and Dragon flies over his head with a quick sunset flip. 1...kick
out. Low rolls back and then goes for a pin using Dragon's legs for extra leverage.
1..2...KICKOUT! Low backs off, and Black Dragon does a quick kick-up, causing
the crowd to cheer for series of pin attempts.
Frank Jackson: Shades of the classic Ray Owens Dragon feud right there. I'll
tell you Low has really impressed me here tonight. In fact as a bit of trivia,
the Hit Man is the ONLY man to ever make Dragon submit.
Inside the ring, the two men circle, and they lock up. Dragon takes the advantage
with a knee, and follows up with a series of chops to the shoulders and back
of Low. He then NAILS Low with the Midnight Super Kick! Low is out on the mat,
and Dragon quickly scales the turnbuckles and comes off with a BIG senton, but
Low moves, and Dragon finds the mat, further damaging his back. Low quickly
takes the advantage with a single leg crab, causing even more damage to the
lower back of Black Dragon. Low releases the hold after only a minute though,
and drags Black Dragon up before hitting him with a snap suplex. Low then rolls
over, and stands up while still holding Dragon, and hits another, then another.
Low the goes for a pin, 1...2.........KICKOUT at 2 and 7/8. Low pulls Dragon
up by the hair, and muscles him into the ropes, he takes a few steps back, and
charges in, but Dragon ducks and hits a backbody drop over the top rope to the
outside! Dragon springs to the apron, and then up onto the second rope, before
coming off with an ASAI MOONSAULT, just as Low is getting to his feet. Dragon
is the first to stir, and he pulls Low up and rolls him back into the ring.
Before climbing up to the top turnbuckle, while facing the crowd. Dragon slowly
raises his arms to the air, causing the crowd to give him a HUGE pop, before
coming off with a DRAGON ATTACK! While still sitting on Low's chest he hooks
his leg for the pin. 1...2...KICKOUT! Dragon gets warily to his feet, and pulls
Low up by the hair, he hooks his head, and signals for the Dragon Drop brainbuster.
He gets Low up in the air, but his back seems to be giving him problems, and
he has to drop him quickly, then he goes for another pin. 1...2.........KICKOUT!
Dragon rolls off, and takes a minute to rest, before finally getting slowly
to his feet. Dragon still seems to be in a lot of pain from his back and ribs,
and he stumbles back against the turnbuckles to give himself a breather.
Low slowly get to his feet himself, but still looks hurt, and he stumbles up
against the opposite turnbuckle. The two men pant heavily, as the crowd comes
to their feet, cheering wildly for both men.
Frank Jackson: MY GOD THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST MATCHES I HAVE EVER SEEN!
These two men are giving it their all, one only wonders if EITHER ONE of these
two men will having anything left for the next round.
The two men just suddenly seem to break for each other, and they meet in the
center of the ring. Its a tie up, and Low gets the advantage with a Irish whip,
he catches Dragon coming back in with a HUGE Samoan Drop, before going to for
a pin attempt. 1...2.....KICKOUT. Low wastes no time to his feet, and climbing
once again to the middle turnbuckle, before coming off with a rolling knee drop.
He pulls Dragon up to his feet, and sets him up for a side Russian Leg Sweep,
but Dragon squirms out, and applies the DRAGON SLEEPER!!!! Dragon doesn't look
like he wants to go for the submission though, and he moves towards the ropes,
and climbs the turnbuckles backwards, sits on the top for a minute, before coming
off with the Diamond Dust! He looks wobbly, but he pulls Low to the center of
the ring, and goes for a pin....1.....2.......................KICKOUT in 2 9/10!!!!!!
Dragon slowly gets back up to his feet, and pulls Low up, but gets caught with
a chin breaker, sending him back to the mat. Low slowly stands himself, before
signaling for the LOW PROFILE! He grabvines Dragon's legs, and tries to roll
him over, but Dragon is fighting it. FINALLY he gets him over, and its locked
in tight!
Frank Jackson: Dragon is going to have to tap! Remember Ray Owens has been
the only man to ever make Dragon TAP!
Herb Summers: Is it over yet?
The ref is checking on Dragon, he keeps shaking his head no. He's fighting
it, trying to turn it around, and the ref keeps checking on him. Finally, Dragon
just can't take it anymore, and begins to TAP! LOW WINS AND ADVANCES!
Frank Jackson: He's done it! Low's done what only one other man has ever done!
He made Dragon tap!
Herb Summers: Oh goodie, Low wins. What's the next match?
Frank Jackson: How can you be so callus Herb? Dragon and Low just gave the
AWA fans everything they had. That was the most incredible thing I have ever
seen, and look its not over yet, Low is calling for a mic.
Low (exhausted): Dragon..... this was..... without a doubt.... the greatest
match..... of Low's career. Thanks.... thanks for everything..... MY FRIEND!
Low extends his hand to Dragon. Dragon immediately accepts and Low helps Dragon
to get up his feet. Black Dragon then raises Low's arm high into the air and
the two celebrate to a huge pop from the crowd. Ramona then enters the ring
and hands both of them their tag belts. They display the belts to each side
of the crowd, then walk towards each other again and hug to an even bigger pop.
Frank Jackson: Fine display of sportsmanship by BOTH these great athletes.
Herb Summers: This is horrible, its bad enough they bored us with a twenty
minute match. Now they're hugging?!?!?
They stop hugging and raise each others arms once again, when suddenly Low
kicks Dragon into the stomach and gives him the Low Stunner!
Frank Jackson: Damn it NO!
Herb Summers: YES! Finally something exciting!
The crowd goes wild and almost boos Low out of the building. Litter begins
to fill ring. Low picks up his title belt and places it around his shoulder.
He then picks Dragon up and places his chin exactly onto the belt and then executes
the Stunner again ONTO the belt! Low holds up both tag team title belts and
climbs the corner, further enraging the crowd.
Frank Jackson: Looks like Low's going to leave the ring, like the coward he
is. I can't believe he did that to his partner and the man he called friend!
Herb Summers: How many times do I have to say this Frank, they're no friends
in the ring. Low's just doing what's right. He's going for the Low Profile,
he's going to make sure Dragon never walks again! HOORAY!
Low grabs Dragon's legs, and stomps his stomach a couple times. Before applying
the Low Profile. The crowd erupts in another HUGE HEAT, as Low wrenches in the
hold. Dragon is screaming in pain, as several officials rush to the ring, trying
to pull Low off. Low just grins at them, and cracks in the hold tighter. Finally
after about three minutes, Low drops the hold, and gives the crowd an evil smirk.
He rolls Dragon over, before laying the belt across his stomach, before spitting
on him, and walking out with Ramona followed by the LWA officials, while the
crowd gives him a TREMENDOUS HEAT!
FJ-I don't believe it... Low never changed for the better. He's as rotten as
always.
HS-And next to Shane Solomon, he's my favorite wrestler of all time now!
(The camera cuts to the back, were we see the door too Hangman's lockerroom.
The door opens, goes right to Hangman's bag, and reaches in... the hand then
pulls out the branding iron!)
HS-who the hell was that?
FJ-I don't know. Back to the ring, man. This next match has been signed as
a retirement match! The former figureheads of the Family will go head to head
in this first round matchup, and one of them will never return!!
King of the Kage
Sabotage vs. Dave "The Rave" Santini
KOTK Rd. 1
("Sabotage" by The Beastie Boys is cued, and Sabotage steps out onto
the stage with a little pyro. He actually gets a small pop as he heads to the
ring. He rolls in and waits. "Pour Some Sugar On Me" is cued, and
Dave Santini heads to the ring to big heat! He yells at a few fans at ringside,
then rolls in. The bell rings, and the men lock up.)
FJ: Santini with the irish whip... no! Reversal by the Scottish native... and
a BIG BOOT to the groin and Santini is in a world of hurt!
HS: Santini is a Soprano, now!
FJ: Off the far side comes Sabotage, right into a shoulder block. He picks
Santini up by the hair... into a massive haymaker! The move sends Santini to
the ropes. Now, sent for the ride... Santini ducks a clothesline... and hits
a Jawbreaker on Sabotage!
HS: What control Santini is showing here. Did you see how he put on the brakes
coming off the ropes to position himself for that Jawbreaker. That's a sign
of experience, there.
FJ: Santini continues to pummel the Hardcore Scot with a turnbuckle smash.
The Rave stops after the 5 count from the ref and Sabotage is on wobbly legs.
Dave mounts the 2nd turnbuckle... and SCORES with elbow smash! Sabby, though,
is still on his feet. Santini with an eye gouge. There was no call for that.
The ref reprimands him for that.Santini stays on a groggy Sabotage, dropping
him to one knee and applies a simple hammerlock.
HS: Simple, yet effective. Santini is no slouch when it comes to power moves.
FJ: That is for certain! The Rave, releases the hammerlock now and cinches
in a waist lock. Looks like a slingshot but Sabotage says otherwise, punching
non-stop to Santini's head. Dave is losing control... and falls back. Sabo is
on top and hooks both legs. Pinning predicament!! 1... 2... Kickout by Santini!
That was close. The Rave was a split second away from retirement! Santini is
vertical first and cinches the waist lock again but Sabotage counters with a
headbutt, right between the eyes! Santini drops to one knee. Sabotage brings
Santini to a vertical base... hooks... and hits a big time Jackhammer! He goes
for the cover... 1... 2... Santini with a foot on the ropes.
HS: Great presence of mind by the Raver. Way to hang in there!
FJ: The Scottish native keeps the pressure on... slams Santini on his left
arm. They're back vertical. Sabo sends the Rave for the ride to the buckles...
reversal at the last second! Sabotage hits hard and staggers back. Santini mounts
the 2nd buckle... he comes off with an elbow but Sabotage catches him into a
striking Spinebuster! What a move! Here's the cover... 1... 2... NO! Santini
sneaks a shoulder up at the last second! It's clear to see who's in control,
here.
HS: Nonsense! Santini is merely hanging on and biding his time... waiting for
the right moment to strike.
FJ: It's clear to see how YOUR favorite is, Herb. Let's keep it non-biased,
now.
HS: What the HELL you're talking about. I'm the color-man! I can say what I
want.
FJ: Back to the action, folks. Sabotage has slapped on a powerful bearhug on
Santini. Shaking his head NO, the Rave, a strong man in his own right, refuses
to give up. Sabo finally releases the hold and hits another body slam on Santini.
Back vertical now, the massive Scot goes for a turnbuckle smash but the Rave
puts a foot out, countering. Santini grabs him and hits his own turnbuckle smash.
OH! Sabby ate a mouthful of that one!
HS: See, what did it tell you! Dave, the Rave is on the warpath now.
FJ: Indeed, he is now. Santini with a reverse chinlock, slowing down the pace.
HS: Wise move. Let Sabotage expend that energy while he rest.
FJ: OH, Dave goes nasty and jams his thumb right into the eye of a struggling
Sabotage
HS: That'll take the steam out of that weak link!
FJ: How can you say that?
HS: It's because of him that things have fallen apart. Since Sabotage has been
a part of the Family, the Rave has lost his 2nd U.S. Title... the Paramedics
lose their Tag Titles as well and he has made the most fatal suggestions of
all... asking Low to join the Family.
FJ: What flawed process came up with that? Ludicrous! Santini with the whip
and right into a big-time clothesline! My GOD, what power! Pin attempt on Sabotage...
only a 2. Santini... now inverts the Scot into the Rave-Squeeze! He's going
for the finish.
HS: That's it. Ring the bell. It's over right here!
FJ: The referee is in position and asks if Sabotage wants to call it quits.
There is no quit in this man. The cameras are right in there as it happens and
Sabotage keeps shaking his head no! Dave finally drops Sabotage and turns his
back to the ref. What is he reaching for? He's got some sort of foreign object
in his hands.
HS: What are you talking about? I didn't see anything and neither did the ref.
Look, he's still checking if Sabby is fit to continue.
FJ: Yes, of course, HOW convenient. Both are vertical now. Sabo is on wobbly
legs... and Santini lays it into him with that foreign object!
HS: What foreign object? Why don't you stop being biased.
FJ: Oh, biased huh? Then why is Santini turned away from the ref again and
reaching down his trunks? What the HELL is that?
HS: Oh, you know. There is load of pretty women here at ringside... and a man
needs to adjust every now and then... and ah...
FJ: Oh, SHUT UP! You're a complete idiot if you're blind to his actions. Santini
drops down for an easy cover... 1... 2... KICKOUT by the Scot! Santini can't
believe it. He pulls the bigger man up... but Sabo, out of nowhere, snatches
Santini up... and down for a Samoan Drop! The Rave is reeling. Sabotage... sets
up for a Belly to back... here's the execution. OH, Santini rakes the eyes.
Sabo releases the Rave. Sabo is sent for the ride... NO! It's reversed and Santini
flies right over the buckles and into the ringpost. I think he maybe out cold!
HS: NO! C'mon, Santini!
FJ: Sabotage dips under... what's he doing? He lifts Santini off the top buckle...
into a POWERBOMB!! You can feel that through your TV sets, folks. Power personified
in Sabotage. He has Santini folded up for the cover... 1... 2... kick out at
the LAST SECOND! I don't know how Santini could've pulled that off. I was sure
that he was finished. Even Sabo can't believe it.
HS: Dave simply reached deep down for that extra something.
FJ: Yeah, deep down for that foreign object.
HS: Shut up!
FJ: Sabotage is mounting the top rope. Santini is simply on instinct right
now, groggy as he is. He turns around... Sabotage off the top rope... but Santini
catches him and sends him up and over with a Belly-to-belly suplex! Spectacular
move by the Rave. That's a big turning point in this match. Both men are down
for the count... 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... Santini to his feet first.
He grabs Sabotage's arm and drags him to the nearest ringpost. Now outside,
he slams the big Scot's arm right into the steel.
HS: That definitely woke him up.
FJ: You can see the look of pain in Sabotage's face. Santini still has the
arm, probably intending to do it again... but Sabotage muscles the Rave right
into the steel himself. Santini is down at ringside. The Hardcore Scot is on
his feet, still favoring that right arm, and mounts the top turnbuckle. He aims
to come down on Santini at ringside. Santini pulls himself up on the barricades.
Sabo leaps... he MISSES. Sabotage hits the ring barricade hard as Santini moves
at the last second. Dave grabs a hold of Sabotage and tosses him back in the
ring, right in front of us. The ref is checking on Sabo while Santini is still
out here and digs for that foreign object, RIGHT HERE in front of us. It's a
pair of Brass Knuckles. See, I told you Herb. Now, what do you have to say about
that?
HS: I'm ahhh... ummm... ya, well...
FJ: Speechless... how convenient. Santini is back in and grabs a weary but
vertical Sabotage and DECKS him real hard with those Knucks. Sabo is down. The
ref, once again, sees nothing as he tends to Sabotage while Santini is in his
trunks... again.
HS: Brilliance on the part of the Rave. How many times has he used them...
and he's not even caught, yet.
FJ: You call it what you want, Herb. That is atrocious and you know it.
HS: Only if you ARE caught.
FJ: Santini with the cover... 1... 2... 3! My GOD, it didn't have to end like
this.
HS: Pack your bags and say goodbye, Sabby! You're RETIRED!! Ha, ha, HA!
(Santini stumbles to the back victorious with large heat... Sabotage sits in
the ring for a moment, then heads to the back. Slowly, the crowd begins to roar,
until a huge Sabotage chant starts! Sabotage waves to the crowd a final time,
then heads to the back.)
FJ-The LWA fans just thanked him for his effort, Herb...
Lars Fredrickson vs. Steve "Iceman" Barnes
KOTK Rd. 1
Frank: Well now up is AWA hall of famer Lars Fredrickson against the LWAs
TV champ Steve Barnes.
Herb: I cant wait to see Lars beat the hell out of Steve Barnes.
(Steve Barnes enters to Iron Man. Lars is not far behind and enters the arena
to big heat. They begin to exchange blows in the ring and Lars soon takes over
with a scoop slam. Barnes rises and receives another scoop slam. This time Barnes
rolls out of the ring to catch his breath. Lars follows him and receives a super
kick from Barnes. Barnes rolls Lars into the ring and then slides in.)
Frank: What a super kick!
(Lars rises and then chops Barnes. Barnes is stunned and Lars runs to the ropes
and attempts a clothesline, but Barnes is able to reverse it into the chill
factor.)
Frank: The chill factor, its all over!
Herb: Noooooo!
(Barnes goes for the pin, 1, 2, kick out by Lars. Barnes pulls Lars up by the
hair, but Lars delivers a low blow to Barnes, then springboards to the top rope
and dropkicks Barnes! Lars locks on a headlock, but Barnes reverses it into
a pinfall attempt. Lars reverses it back to a seated headlock, but Barnes fights
to his feet, then slips the headlock and german suplexes Lars! Barnes goes to
the top rope and sets up a big moonsault. The Iceman comes off, but Lars rolls
out of the way! Barnes hits hard and bounces up to his hands and knees, where
Lars immediatly goes for his Cradle Piledriver! However Vapor Adams suddenly
charges the ring! He distracts the ref, when Weston Steel slips out of the crowd
with a pool stick! He rolls in and blasts Lars from behind, breaking the stick
over Lars' head! Barnes crawls over to Lars and goes for the cover. 1,2,3!)
Frank: What an upset for Barnes!
Herb: What a cheater! He used Weston Steel to beat Lars! He couldnt do
the job by himself.
Frank: Well, Lars did kick out of the chill factor, but still we will never
know.
Herb: Cheater!
FJ-Lars had Steel's truck towed. That's just how it goes!
(Barnes heads to the stage, celebrating, when Low runs out with a steel chair!
He blasts Barnes with it, then drives the chair into his back 5 or 6 times before
leaving!)
Vapor Adams vs. Drake Hyde
KOTK Rd. 1
("Counterfit" by Limp Bizkit is cued, and Vapor Adams comes out to
a good pop. "Godsmack" by Drake Hyde is cued, and Hyde comes out to
a huge one! The two men circle as the bell rings.)
FJ: Hyde with a snap mare and Adams is down. Off the far side goes Drake...
right into a dropkick right into the back of Vapor's head. Adams is reeling
in pain. Hyde presses on... both are vertical... slaps on a side headlock. Slowing
the pace down.
HS: Smart move by Drake Hyde. He's got to think ahead as well as about now.
Hyde is pacing himself. He can't burn himself out in the early rounds and expect
to be able up for the later rounds. That's right. Let the "Next Gen"
do all the work.
FJ: Drake is really cranking on that side headlock. Now, Vapor seems to be
fight out of it. Their arms are lock in a show of power. Adams, the larger of
the 2, is pressing over. He's winning this power struggle... but Hyde gets a
handful of hair and is back into his side headlock.
HS: Ha, HA! Beautiful.
FJ: Adams is furious as he tries to shake free. The ref calls for the break
due to the hair pulling. 1... 2... 3... 4... Drake reluctantly releases and
a fuming Vapor Adams applies his Cobra Clutch... but Hyde quickly reaches for
the ropes. The ref once again calls for the break. Vapor pulls off slowly...
then Drake sneaks in some quick jabs as Adams was breaking. Hyde tries to control
the near 7-footer with an arm lock, right in the center of the ring... but Vapor
merely tosses Drake like a rag doll to the buckles! What a show of strength
by the "Next Gen" wrestler. Hyde hits his head on the top turnbuckle
and falls back flat on the mat.
HS: C'mon Drake! Don't let this "Next Gen'er" do that to you. I have
to admit, Drake need to turn it up a bit. You can't try to control a powerful
man like Vapor Adams with locks and holds.
FJ: It worked at first but perhaps he does need to change his strategy. Drake
is still shaking the cobwebs on his backside. Vapor now hooks both legs and...
probably is going for a Boston Crab... NO! Adams is spinning Hyde around in
circles. It's the Giant Swing. Around, around & around he goes. Where does
Drake stop? OH, right out of the ring! Vapor Adams has just spun and thrown
out Drake Hyde like a little kid. Adams follows Hyde to the outside. He picks
up the still dazed Hyde and rams him head first into the steps. Drake looks
worse for wear as he is tossed back into the ring. Vapor is back in and Drake
springs to his feet. Off the far side and into a Cross Body... but Vapor catches
him. That move has backfired on Drake as Adams drops forward into a modified
slam! He hooks the leg for the pin... 1..., kick out by Drake. In perfect position,
Adams heads for the top turnbuckle.
HS: Adams has to be careful here. I don't think he wore down Drake enough yet.
He kicked out rather quickly.
FJ: Nevertheless, Adams is up... and off the top rope into a Leg Drop! He goes
for the cover... no. He picks up Hyde but gets a rake to the eyes for his troubles.
Vapor staggers. Drake springs off the 2nd buckle and lands an elbow on Vapor's
neck. Whip by Drake and he hits a clothesline on the near 7-footer. They're
back to a vertical base and Hyde goes for a Greco-Roman Knuckle Lock. I would
have to question this. With Drake's experience, matching power to power with
Adams would be the last thing I'd want to do.
HS: Maybe he's sending a message to the "Next Gen'er". You can't
bully me with your power.
FJ: I would have to debate that as Adams is forcing his way out of that knuckle
lock. Hyde is losing... and tried to regain control by kicking him in the gut...
but there is too much adrenaline running through Vapor right now. He breaks
the lock and slaps on a Bear hug submission! You can see Drake writhing in pain
but doesn't seem to be giving up. Vapor lets go and Hyde just slumps to the
floor.
HS: Look at Adams stand over Drake Hyde like he's the king of the world. This
"Next Gen'er" had better not underestimate his opponent. Otherwise,
his cockiness will get the best of him.
FJ: Ummm, Herb. You'd had better cool it a bit. I think that Vapor notices
your... animosity towards him.
HS: What? I'm a color commentator. I get paid for MY comments. Hey, he is looking
over here.
FJ: ... and pointing over here as well. Adams picks up Drake for a military
press. He charges... and he's throwing Drake OVER HERE!
[Drake Hyde crashes through the announcer's table]
HS: HOLY ####! What did he do that for?
FJ: I told you he understood your comments. Looks like we're sitting here table-less
for the rest of the card. Uh, oh! Here's Vapor Adams coming right after Drake
Hyde. No, he's confronting Herb.
[Vapor Adams comes face to face with Herb Summer and points a finger right
at him.]
Vapor Adams: Listen here you piece of SHIT! If I ever hear your fat ASS talking
trash about me again... I'll make sure that it will be YOU that is put through
this table, NEXT TIME!
[As Adams continues with his match, Herb shows his reaction to Vapor Adams'
tongue lashing... by that warm little puddle forming right under him.]
FJ: Oh, HERB! I think I'll take it from here. Why don't you go to the back
so you can shake it off?
[Security takes to the back stage area a "silent" Herb Summer while
Janitorial Service takes over on that "mess" that was left by Herb.]
FJ: OK, folks. We're back. Vapor has already tossed Drake Hyde back into the
ring. Adams with the Irish whip... reversed by Drake... into a back body drop
but Adams lands on his feet... right into military press by Vapor, showing his
strength superiority in this match. Down Drake goes very hard! Cover by Adams...
1... 2... kick out by Hyde. Both are back vertical. Adams with the ride again...
goes for the boot but misses... but lands a hard-hitting clothesline! Drake
hits with a forearm smash as he is brought vertical but Vapor is unfazed. Up
& down Drake goes from a Gorilla Press. Adams has just been absolutely dominant
for a good portion of this match. Drake Hyde needs to turn things around quick
if he wants to stay in this match. Oh, and a gouge to the eyes with do it. The
ref is giving a warning to Drake for his actions. Vapor, seen here shielding
his eyes, now seems helpless. Drake Hyde pushes him out to ringside. What's
he doing? Hey, he took my chair... and is now using it on Vapor, to say the
least. The referee now administering the 5 count while Hyde swings away. Just
take the chair away from him Ref! My GOD! Drake has pounded Adams to a pulp.
Finally tossing the chair aside, Hyde pushes Vapor back into the ring. He set
him up... a Pedigree by Drake. Here's the cover... 1... 2... kick out by Vapor!
Now, Hyde lays in some punches to soften up Adams. They're both back vertical.
Hyde with the whip but Vapor blocks it. He won't come out of that corner. Kick
to the gut by Hyde and he tries it again... reversed... right into a CLOTHESLINE.
A short clothesline. Vapor took his head off with that move. Spectacular! Adams
backs him into the corner now... and throws Hyde across the ring! That was just
pure manhandling! Drake is over at the opposite corner, now begging off Adams
as he closes in. Oh, a grab of the tights and Hyde sends Vapor face first into
the top turnbuckle. He ate that definitely. Drake, back in control, sets up
for a whip to the ropes. Adams for the ride... Drake with a clothesline... but
Vapor just absorbs it. He shakes his head in defiance. Hyde spins around and
lands a discus punch. That turns Vapor around. Drake, to the ropes... and hits
a Super Kick. Here's the pin attempt... 1... 2... shoulder up by Adams. Drake
is on his feet first... picks up Vapor. Suddenly, Adams comes to life. He's
got the Cobra Clutch on... in the center of the ring! Hyde desperately trying
to reach the ropes but Adams keeps turning him back to the center of the ring.
Hyde is beginning to fade. Adams is not letting him touch the ropes. Drake drops
to his knees... crawling, pulling as Vapor Adams clamps tighter on that Cobra
Clutch. Hyde has did it. He's reached the ropes near the corner. Drake is working
his way to the top rope while the Ref is telling Adams to release the hold...
but Vapor is saying no. Hyde has as hold of the top ropes at that corner. Adams
is trying to pull Drake away from the corner. He's not listening to the ref.
Vapor is now pulling Hyde with all his might. Look as his wide stance. What
is Drake doing? He's clutched the top ropes and now he's worked his feet to
the top buckle. Drake pushes off and falls on top of Vapor. He still has the
clutch on but Drake is now rolled on top. The ref is counting... 1... 2... 3!
I don't believe it. Drake Hyde has just turned that Cobra Clutch into a pinning
predicament! Vapor could not break free because of that "crimp" like
move Hyde did after springing off the top buckle. What a move! Vapor thought
he had the match. However, it's Drake Hyde that advances in the tournament!
Announcer: Ladies & Gentlemen... the winner of this match and advancing
in the King of the Kage tournament... DRAKE HYDE!!!
FJ: An exhausted Drake Hyde slithers out of the ring as a befuddled Vapor Adams
remains in the ring contemplating how he just lost. Oh, no! Steven Caldera is
in. He's attacking Vapor from behind, putting the boots to him like a house
of fire. Caldera slides out, grabs a chair and slides back in. Vapor snatches
the chair from Caldera and asks why are you doing this? A boot to his gut is
all the answer he gets. Caldera with the chair again... he swings hard and knocks
Vapor Adams to the ground. Come on, Ref! Do something. An incensed Steven Caldera
continues to batter Adams even as a horde of referees tries to break this madness
up. He finally leaves... after rendering Vapor Adams into a bloody pulp.
Dave Santini vs. Low
KOTK Rd. 2
Frank: Well Herb, next up is round two in the King of the Kage tournament! Its
going to be Low vs. Dave Santini.
Herb: This should be a good one since Low betrayed the family, well what was
once the family. Santini now has a shot at some revenge. Santini just retired
Sabotage, and you KNOW he's on a role!
Frank: Herb, Low just ended Black Dragon's career, might I remind you. This
will be a match to remember!
(The Hearts filthy lesson is played as Low makes his way down to ringside.
He gets a good amount of reaction from the fans. Pour Some Sugar on me plays
as Santini runs into the ring at full force. He immediately locks up with
Low.)
Herb: Look at Santini go! Thats real wrestling!
Frank: Dont count Low out just yet.
(Low and Santini exchange punches, but Low gets the advantage and hits a huge
clothesline. Santini rises to his feet only to receive a low blow. The referee
pulls Low over and warns him that he will be disqualified if he does it again.
Low nods and then starts to stomp out Santini. He puts Santini onto the turnbuckle
and sets him up for a superplex. Santini is able to kick Low off. Low rises
to his feet and Santini dives into Low. Low reverses the dive into a massive
spinebuster. He then locks on the Low profile.)
Frank: What a reversal! Santini is going to tap out any moment!
Herb: Santini is just getting warmed up.
(Santini taps out and the ref calls for the bell.)
Herb: I told you Santini would tap out!
Frank: But
whatever herb, whatever.
Drake Hyde vs. Steve "Iceman" Barnes
KOTK Rd. 2
("The lights in the arena dim, and a countdown on the Ameritron begins..."5..4..3..2..1
SMASH!!" Then the words "The Iceman Cometh" explode onto the
Ameritron, and the house lights go up. Steve Barnes, our US champion, steps
out onto the stage, while a circle of blue pyro goes off around him. The pyro
dies down, and Barnes marches to the ring. "Bad Religion" by Godsmack
is next, and Drake Hyde steps out onto the stage to a HUGE pop! He hi fives
several fans then rolls into the ring. Barnes and Hyde have a staredown, then
both men shake hands.)
FJ: This one is underway! Barnes & Hyde into a collar elbow tie up. Glad
to have you back Herb. Are you OK? I see that you got a new pair of pants on.
You're not shaken by what...
HS: Just stick to the action, Frank.
FJ: Alright. Barnes with the rope burn on Hyde... now Drake sent for a ride
to the buckles... no, it's reversed and the Iceman hits hard! Hyde not wasting
anytime... leg trip by Hyde then floats over for an arm lock... and rolls Barnes
over for a pinning combination... 1... 2 & a kick out. Hyde, quick on his
feet, executes a dropkick on Barnes. Both are back vertical. Drake lays into
the Iceman with a chop to the chest.
Crowd in attendance: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
FJ: The crowd was into that one! The Iceman for the ride... reversal... and
he hits a stunning flying clothesline. Drake, however, is back in again with
a short arm scissors, trying to control the massive Iceman. Barnes works his
way up... and hoists Drake Hyde up in the air, trying to shake him off... but
Hyde turns it into an arm drag, staying in control!
HS: I love this. What a game of "chess" we're seeing here. Each man
trying to get a mode of offense going by the other is countering so neither
man really has the advantage. That shows how serious both men are about wanting
to advance in this tournament.
FJ: Well said, Herb. Now, it's Barnes with a step over toehold. Hyde works
his way to the ropes. Ref calls for the break. Both are vertical... now it's
the Iceman with a chop!
Crowd in attendance: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
FJ: Irish whip by Barnes... reversed by Hyde... and the Iceman runs right into
an arm drag / arm lock combo by Drake, who is taking the scientific road against
Barnes here.
HS: I noticed that too. Once again, he's thinking ahead. If and when he advances,
he'll need all the energy he can get. So, he's making the Iceman work.
FJ: Speaking of the Iceman, Barnes has worked his way vertical. Hyde is still
trying to hang on to the lock. Barnes with the go-behind and hits a T-Bone Suplex!
That caught Hyde off guard. Here's the pin attempt... 1... 2 kick out by Hyde.
Barnes pressing the action with another chop to the chest!
Crowd in attendance: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
FJ: Followed by a rake to the eyes. The ref warns the Iceman about that. Drake
is elevated and slammed to the mat by Barnes. Drake is back up. Barnes is going
for a hip toss but Drake has a hold of the ropes. He reverses it and takes Barnes
down! Hyde to the ropes... floats over Barnes... and hits a shoulder block.
Drake is trying for another arm lock... but Barnes counters with a punch to
the solar plexus. He hooks Hyde up for a suplex... up and over... it's a counter!
Waist lock... into a belly to back by Drake! What fabulous wrestling action
we're seeing out of Hyde and Barnes.
HS: Absolutely! At this point, you can flip a coin to determine a winner. Neither
man has been able to maintain any offense for long.
FJ: Barnes with the advantage, going for a tombstone piledriver but Hyde is
not making it easy. The Iceman loses control... and it's Hyde now in position
for the piledriver... but he can't hold it either! Barnes has it again... and
down Drake goes! The Iceman back to a vertical base... sets up Hyde... for the
ICE PLEX! OH! He sent Drake flying across the ring with that pump handle suplex.
Barnes for the cover but Hyde is too close to the rope so there's no count.
Now, Hyde is sent for the ride... Barnes down for back body but Hyde floats
over... and hits a dropkick coming off the ropes. What agility shown by the
former Light Heavyweight champ.
HS: That was a long time ago, Frank. He's bulked up since then.
FJ: You're right. At 255, Hyde wouldn't be considered a light heavyweight today.
Gut wrench suplex by Hyde! Barnes quick to his feet... but is arm dragged again
by Hyde... and follows up with an elbow drop. Once again, the Iceman is quick
to his feet and hits a head butt right square in the nose of Hyde. Now, he's
gouging Drake's eyes out. The ref calls for the break, admonishing the U.S.
Champ of his actions. The Iceman cinches... and hits a spectacular Belly to
Belly suplex!
HS: No one does that like the Iceman!!
FJ: Here is that chain offense you were talking about, Herb. It looks like
Barnes has found his niche. Hyde is slow to recover and the Iceman is just waiting
in the wings. Drake slowly turns around... and Barnes nails the Spear! Hyde
didn't even see it coming! The Iceman is up again. Sets up for... and hits another
suplex, the Head & Arm version this time. Barnes is up again... and presses
Hyde in the air. A military press... but he loses control. Hyde falls to the
outside.
HS: Drake didn't fall outside. LOW pulled him out!
FJ: Sure enough, Low is here interjecting himself into this match. What is
his business here! OH! He just drove Drake Hyde into those steel steps.
HS: I think he has some sort of beef with the Iceman, judging from their verbal
wars as of late!
FJ: Barnes finally notices Low at ringside. He gives chase! Low scurries away
and up the aisle. Barnes stops short of the aisle and turns his attention back
to Drake Hyde. Picking him up, Barnes throws the dazed Hyde into the ring. Whoa!
Here comes Low... from behind... and he stings the Iceman from behind with a
chair! Barnes slumps into the ring as Low makes his way to the back.
HS: Low has certainly left his mark on this match. The Iceman was on a roll
and quite possibly would've won the match. Now, both men are down and out again.
The playing field has been leveled again.
FJ: The actions of Low have certainly changed the course of events here. The
10 count is being administered by the referee... 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6...
Drake is first to his feet... brings Barnes vertical... sends him for the ride
but reversed by the Iceman. He catches Hyde onto his shoulders... fallaway slam
by Barnes! NO, Hyde hangs on and rolls through. He's got Barnes shoulders pinned.
1... 2... 3!
HS: Outstanding! What a brilliant performance by Drake Hyde. He's literally
outwrestled the wrestling machine in the U.S. Champ. Hyde deserves to advance
in the KOTK tourney!
FJ: You took the words right out of my mouth, Herb. Let's take it the ring
for the official word!
Announcer: Ladies & Gentlemen... the winner of this match and advancing
in the King of the Kage tournament... DRAKE HYDE!!!
FJ-We have our final of the KOTK set, folks! It's Low vs. Drake Hyde in a cage,
and what a match that will be.. I just hope Low gets what is coming to him.
HS-You're pulling for Low too!?!?
FJ-.... damn you....
HS-What???
Hangman(C) vs. Steven Caldera
TV Title Match
(The announcers are interupted as pyro explodes off of each ringpost! A video
of a noose fades in on the Ameritron, and Hangman steps out with the TV Title
over his massive shoulder. He marches to the ring as "Back In The Saddle"
by Aerosmith is cued. He sets the belt under a turnbuckle and rolls in. "Laguna
Breeze" is cued up, and Steven Caldera steps out onto the stage with Hangman's
branding iron!?!?! He runs to the ring and slides in, but the ref wrestles it
from his grasp and tosses it to the floor. Caldera begins to argue with the
ref about it, until Hangman comes from behind Caldera and throws him down by
his hair! Caldera is up again, only to get scoop slammed back to the mat! The
crowd begins to chant "Hangman" as Hangman goes for a legdrop but
Caldera rolls out of the way. Hangman hits hard and stays seated, and Caldera
flips to his feet then kicks Hangman in the face! The big man goes down, and
Caldera immediatly locks on a camel clutch. Hangman is just too big, however,
and He actually fights to his feet with Caldera on his back! He then backs up,
ramming Caldera into the turnbuckle! Caldera goes down in a heap, and Hangman
stomps away. He then pulls up Caldera and fires him into the ropes. Caldera
ducks a clothesline, rebounds, and comes off with a cross body, but Hangman
catches him! Hangman simply holds him for a second, then drops Caldera into
a big backbreaker! Hangman covers,1,2,kickout. Hangman stands and begins stomping
away at Caldera, who tries to get to his feet. He pulls himself up with the
ropes, but then Hangman kicks him right out of the ring! Hangman struts as Caldera
tries to catch his breath on the outside. The ref starts the count, but Caldera
doesn't want to get back in. Finally, Hangman reaches over the top to pull Caldera
back in, but Caldera ducks it, trips Hangman, and pulls him to the floor! Caldera
quickly splits Hangman's legs, then drives a foot into his groin! The ref yells
at him, and Caldera rolls back in. Hangman finally gets up and climbs up onto
the apron, but Caldera is waiting! He starts blasting him with rights, until
Hangman blocks one, then he leads Caldera to the turnbuckle and slams his head
against it! Caldera stumbles back, and Hangman goes to the top!!!! Hangman leaps
off with a huge lariat, sending Caldera across the room! Hangman covers, but
Caldera gets a foot on the rope right away. Hangman pulls Caldera up again,
then lifts him into a gorilla press, and drops him face first behind him! Caldera
hits hard, and the crowd goes nuts. Hangman signals for the Southern Comfort
Slam, but when Caldera gets up, Hangman goes for it and Caldera ties himself
up in the ropes! Hangman tries to pull Caldera out of the ropes, but the ref
gets between them. As Hangman fights off the ref, Caldera goes to the second
rope. He leaps off as soon as the ref is out of the way, driving a high knee
into Hangman's face! Caldera follows it with a soccer kick to the groin, and
a DDT! Caldera covers the stunned Hangman,1,2,kickout! Caldera delivers a snap
legdrop, then another, then a third! He covers Hangman again, gets a one count,
and then Hangman bodily throws Caldera off of him! Caldera begins to pepper
Hangman with stomps, but Hangman gets to his feet with no trouble! Caldera charges
him with a shoulderblock, but he hits a brick wall and collapses back! He tries
it again, and gets dropped once more! Caldera then begs off, but Hangman stomps
him anyway! Hangman then pulls Caldera up by the head, but Caldera rakes his
eyes! As Hangman clears his eyes, Caldera grabs the TV Belt and comes after
Hangman, but Hangman sees him and pulls it out of his hands! Hangman reaches
back to blast Caldera with it, but the ref stops him! Hangman and the ref fight
over the belt, when CEO Fredrickson runs from the back?!?)
FJ-What the hell is he doing!??!
(Fredrickson grabs the discarded branding iron, and lights it! He then hands
it to Caldera!?!? Meanwhile the ref pulls the belt out of Hangman's hands. The
ref turns and hands it to the announcer, just as Hangman goes after Caldera.
Caldera is waiting though, and he drives the burning iron right into Hangman's
FACE!!!! Caldera tosses the iron out of the ring and covers, and the ref turns
around and counts 1,2,3!!!)
HS-Wow!!
FJ-No!!!
HS-New Champion!!
Announcer-Your winner, and NEW Television Champion, Steven Caaaaaaaaaaaldera!!!!!
(Lars rolls into the ring, and he helps Caldera shove Hangman to the outside.
Lars the gets on the mic, as Caldera puts the belt on.)
Mr. Fredrickson: Id like to introduce each and every one of you to my
new protege, Steve Caldera (motions to Caldera with his arm). Why would I have
a protege you may be asking yourself? Well, simply put, I see some great talent
in Caldera that I cant see in ANY of the other LWA wrestlers. He is a
dedicated and skilled athlete, and he can easily make waves in the LWA as long
as he has the right guidance, namely, me.
(Crowd boos)
Mr. Fredrickson: Caldera winning the Television Title tonight is his first
step to becoming the World Champion, just as the same thing happened to me when
I first won the Television title a year ago. I made my way straight to the top,
and I plan on helping Caldera do the same! Now...on to other business...Steel,
how can you have the NERVE to interfere on MY match in the King Of The Kage
tournament? Tonight was supposed to be MY night, and no one was supposed to
stop me. Your lucky I signed your inbred butt back in the LWA even, and then
you go and pull a stunt like this, making me lose my match...Im your boss
your not supposed to do that!
(Crowd cheers, and starts to chant: STEEL! STEEL! STEEL!)
Mr. Fredrickson(looking around): So, you guys want Steele to come out here?
Good...Id rather him get this announcement in person anyways. So Steele,
you dirty redneck...get out here! NOW!
(The crowd begins to stir waiting for Weston Steele to make his way to ringside.
The crowd suddenly erupts as Steele steps onto the rampway to no music, and
his hands on his hips)
Mr. Fredrickson: Ahh good...the old man finally decided to get here. Now, I
could, and more importantly SHOULD, fire your ass right here on the spot for
interfering in my match....however, where is the fun in that? So, I think Im
just going to have to book myself a little match. (scratching his head) Hmmm...what
type of match, and who should your opponent be?....Ahhh-ha! I got it! (grins)
Im thinking of a No Disqualification HANDI-CAPPED match against the LWA
Security squad...oh, and if you lose Steel, your FIRED, for good!
(Crowd boos)
Mr. Fredrickson: You better go get ready for you match Steele, you dont
have much time! (gives off an evil laugh)
(Steel turns around and heads back towards the locker room area. However, a
few seconds after he passes through the curtain, hes quickly thrown back
and is attacked by the LWA Security Squad, consisting of Disco Duck, Big Bad
Bitch, Stone Cold George Prince, and the Phone guy! Lars just smiles
in the ring and adds...)
Mr. Fredrickson: Times up Steel, ring the bell!
(The bell sounds as the four members of the LWA security continue to beat on
Steele all the way down the rampway. They quickly toss him into the ring as
Mr. Fredrickson and Caldera exit. Big Bag Bitch tosses Steele into the ropes,
and attempts to hit Steele with the Big Bad Boot, But Steele ducks
under it, and plants Big Bad Bitch with a Keystone kick. As soon as Steele turns
back around hes met with a kick to the gut by Prince, followed by an attempt
at a Ace Crusher, however Steele just pushes Prince forward and takes him down
with a huge uppercut! The Phone guy quickly goes for the attack on Steele, but
Steele just hits him whit a SAMH DDT! Steele looks to have the match won, when
suddenly Disco Duck nails him with the Duck Bottom! Steele just
gets right back up un-phased though, and nails Disco Duck with a Keystone kick
as well! Steele is just about to go for the pin, when out of nowhere Caldera
slides in the ring and smacks Steele in the head with his newly won LWA Television
title! Mr. Fredrickson is already on the top rope, and quickly leaps off hitting
Steele with a 450 leg-drop also known as the 7 Years Down! Mr. Fredrickson
and Caldera pull an unconscious Big Bad Bitch ontop of Steele. The ref goes
down for the count...1...2..-suddenly Vapor Adams hits the ring with a steel
chair and smacks Caldera in the head with it. Mr. Fredrickson takes a shot at
Adams, but Adams ducks it and drives the steel chair into Mr. Fredricksons
abdomen, and he crumbles to the mat! Steele has regained some of his sense by
now, and drapes his arm over Big Bad Bitch...the ref makes the count....1....2....3!
Steele wins! Caldera smacks Adams from behind with a double axehandle
smash, forcing him to lose the chair, and Adams and Caldera quickly begin
to brawl. Steele and Fredrickson get to their feet as well, and those two begin
to trade blows as well. This continues for quite some time, until the REAL LWA
Security runs to the ring to try to break it up.)
FJ-My God! Steel has earned the wrath of the CEO!
HS-What, you think they'd just magically LIKE each other now? They've ALWAYS
hated each other!
FJ-True.
HS-And now it's time for a LWA tradition...
FJ-The cage is being lowered, and here we are in our final KOTK match! It all
comes down to Drake Hyde and Low, two men who share no love for each other at
all. For Black Dragon's sake, I hope Drake kills him.
HS-And for my sake, I hope Low kills Hyde!
Drake Hyde vs. Low
KOTK Final
("The Heart's Filthy Lesson" by David Bowie is cued, and a worn out
but determined Low steps out onto the stage. He gets massive heat, as he and
Ramona head to the cage. She begins to circle outside, as Low rolls into the
ring. "Bad Religion" by Godsmack is cued, and Drake Hyde limps to
the ring to the biggest pop of the night!!! The crowd goes nuts as he heads
into the cage and rolls into the ring.) (Low and Hyde circle, while the crowd
is already going nuts. The two quickly lock up, and Hyde puts Low into an arm
bar and twist, but Low does a front roll and reverses it! Hyde quickly reverses
that into a side headlock, where he drops to his knee and cranks down hard on
Low. Low fights back up slowly, then turns it into a top wristlock, before Hyde
slips the hold and goes behind Low into a rear hammerlock! Hyde twists Low's
arm, but Low fires an elbow to the side of Hyde's head, then executes a drop
toe hold! Low quickly goes for another wristlock on the fallen Hyde, but Hyde
rolls with it and turns it into a crucifix pinning position! 1..2..kickout!
Both men jump to their feet and stare holes into each other, as the crowd goes
nuts!)
FJ-Wow! These men are showing NO signs of wear and tear. These are two of the
best atheletes in the world, folks.
HS-No doubt about it. These two guys can go.
FJ-Good athlete or not, Low proved tonight NOBODY can trust him. Black Dragon's
career could be over, and it's all due to that man and a double cross.
(The men circle again, then lock up once more. Hyde immediatly puts on a headlock,
but Low whips him into the ropes. Hyde comes back with a shoulderblock, dropping
Low! Hyde then runs to the ropes, and Low rolls to his stomach. Hyde steps over
him and comes off the other side, but Low is up. Hyde charges him and Low jumps
over Hyde. Low then bounces of the ropes and comes at Hyde, but Hyde does the
splits and ducks, avoiding the shoulderblock! Instead of jumping him, however,
Low stops and goes for a legdrop on Hyde's exposed back of the head. Low goes
for a legdrop, but Hyde sits up straight and Low misses. From the splits position,
Hyde fires off a big roundhouse kick at the seated Low, but Low lays down backwards
and avoids the kick! Hyde uses the momentum from his kick to spin around and
get to his feet, but Low trips him up, dropping Hyde to his back! Low then goes
for a snap elbowdrop, but Hyde rolls out of the way and gets to his feet. Hyde
then goes for a standing senton, but Low rolls out of the way of that! Both
men jump their feet again and circle once more, to a HUGE pop!)
HS-These guys are having the night of their careers right here. Low is such
a class act, too!
FJ-What?! He blind sided his best friend! He's been attacking people all night
long!
(Low and Hyde lock up again, and Hyde powers Low back into the turnbuckle.
The ref demands a clean break, and finally Hyde backs away. The two men lock
up again, and this time Low backs Hyde into the other turnbuckle. The ref again
asks for a clean break, and Low steps back, then fires a cheap kick to Hyde's
gut! Low then blasts Hyde with a forearm, and whips him to the far turnbuckle.
Hyde runs in hard but catches himself with his hands, then jumps backwards of
Low, who was charging in behind him. Low spins around, and Hyde goes for a kick
to the gut, but Low flips Hyde onto his back and goes for the Low Profile! Hyde,
however, rolls with Low's motion and pulls Low over so that Hyde is sitting
on Low's chest for the pin! 1,2, but Low kicks his feet up around Hyde's shoulders
and brings Low down for a sunset flip pin! 1,2, but Hyde rolls over backwards
out of it, then puts his shoulders behind Low's knees and attempts another pin,1,2,
kickout. Hyde is up first, but Low trips him to his feet and Low goes for the
Low Profile again! This time Hyde kicks Low with both feet in the gut, sending
him back against the turnbuckle! Hyde kippup's to his feet, then runs at Low
and executes a monkey flip! Low manages to land on his feet, and the two men
have ANOTHER staredown!)
FJ-WOW!
HS-Low going for the win early.. I told you he was resourceful!
FJ-No, you said he's a class act..
HS-Well, resourceful guys win. And if you win, you're a class act!
(The two men circle again, while the rabid crowd chants "Hyde" as
one. The two men go to lock up, but Low kicks Hyde low, then blasts him with
a forearm! He drives a few more punches into the skull of Drake. Drake is down
on his knees, and Low charges Drake and attempts a sitting dropkick to the face,
but Drake is able to block it, stand up, and attempt to lock LOW in the Low
Profile! Hyde twists the legs, but before he can turn Low, Low reaches up and
grabs Hyde's tights, then used his legs to shove Hyde facefirst through the
ropes and to the floor! Hyde hits hard and tries to stand, as Low gets up to
catch his breath. Just as Hyde gets up, Low slingshots over the top rope with
a suicide dive, bringing Hyde down with him! Both men fight to their feet, but
Low is up first. He backs Hyde against the ring, then whips Hyde against the
cage! Hyde goes down, but Low attempts it again, slamming Hyde into the cage
once more! Hyde is out on his feet, and this time Low whips Hyde against the
door of the cage, and Hyde smashes through the door and to the outside! The
ref rolls out of the ring, but doesn't start the count. Low goes for a big chop,
but Hyde ducks it and backdrops Low into the front row! The crowd is livid as
Hyde backs up, and when Low stands, Hyde takes a run at Low, springboards on
the gaurdrail, then does a somersault through the air and lands on Low! Both
men go sprawling down onto a pile of chairs, obviously hurting! After a few
seconds, Hyde is the first one up! He grabs a chair and raises it up, but the
ref stops him! As he argues with the chair, Low gets up and superkicks the chair
into Hyde's face! Low grabs the chair, then shoves the ref out of the way and
drives it straight into Hyde's forehead! Low then begins to choke Hyde with
the chair, until the ref stops him! Low has massive heat as he stumbles out
of the crowd and jumps the gaurdrail. Low heads back into the cage as the ref
helps up Drake.)
FJ-And Drake is busted open! There is a cut right above his eye, and the blood
is already running down his forehead!
(Hyde crawls over the gaurdrail, then back into the cage. He crawls up onto
the apron, but Low dropkicks him in the face! This leaves Hyde hanging across
the middle rope, and Low goes to the second rope and legdrops Hyde! Hyde falls
through the ropes and into the ring, and Low covers..1...2...kickout! Low is
frustrated, but he pulls Drake up by the hair, and backs him against a turnbuckle.
He fires off a couple stiff chops, then lifts him up to the top rope! Low climbs
up with him, and pulls him all the way up for a superplex! Suddenly, Drake drives
several fists into Low's ribs, and reverses it into "In Memory Of D"!!!
Both men come crashing down to the mat with the huge brainbuster, but Hyde is
too worn out to capitalize! Hyde finally throws an arm over Low, and gets the
1,2,KICKOUT!)
FJ-These guys can't be human!
(Hyde is up first, and he crawls to the ropes, then goes to the top rope! He
signals for an elbow drop, but Ramona jumps up onto the ring apron and pulls
his leg, crotching him on the top rope! As Hyde hangs there in pain, Ramona
grabs a steel chair and climbs up onto the apron! Low meanwhile is up, and he
climbs to the opposite top turnbuckle! Ramona holds the chair in front of Hyde's
face, and Low comes off for a Dropkick! However, Drake yanks the chair out of
Ramona's hands and shoves her off the apron, then ducks the kick! Drake hops
down off the ropes and blasts Low with the chair, but there is no DQ! Hyde goes
for another shot but Low ducks it and pulls down the top rope. Hyde swings hard
and misses, and falls over the tope run but flips and lands on his feet with
the chair in hand! Low quickly scales to the top turnbuckle and comes off with
a sort of bodysplash, but Drake just throws the chair Sabu style into Low's
face as he comes off the top! Low goes down in a heap, and the camera zooms
in on him to show he's busted open! Low holds his head as Hyde stumbles to the
door. The door is hanging off by only one hinge, and with a yank Hyde tears
the door off the cage! He comes at Low with the door, but Low is ready and he
dropkicks him in the face with the door! Hyde falls to the floor with the chain
mesh door on top of him, and Low climbs up onto the apron and then comes off
with a running elbow onto the door! Hyde takes the brunt of the drop, and he
yells in pain. Low is obviously hurt too, but Ramona helps him up slowly. Low
pulls the door off of him and leans it up against the ring apron. HYde gets
to his knees, but Low plants a forearm into his head then attempts to suplex
him onto the door! Hyde blocks it, but Low tries again. Hyde blocks another
one, then knees Low in the gut, doubling him over. Hyde quickly powerbombs Low
through the door! The mesh tears and the metal bends, leaving Low in a twisted
wreck of a door! Hyde mercilessly drags Low out of the mesh, cutting up Low's
arms and legs in the process. Hyde then rolls Low into the ring, climbs onto
the apron, and hits a slingshot legdrop! Hyde covers, and Low kicks both legs
but can't get out of it!!! 1...2...3 NO! Low reaches out and grabs the bottom
rope before the ref's hand hits! Hyde is exhausted, but he pulls himself up
using the ropes and stomps Low. Low finally rolls out of the ring, then stumbles
out of the cage. Hyde yells at him to come back, but Low actually leaves the
cage. Hyde follows him in hot pursuit, and Low starts climbing the side of the
cage! Low is about halfway up when Hyde begins climbing as well. Low makes it
over the top and simply lies there, breathing hard. Just as Hyde begins to near
the top, Low gets up and pulls a chain out of his boot! As soon as Hyde tries
to get up onto the cage, Low blasts him with the chain in the forhead! Hyde
slips a little, and Low blasts him again! Hyde falls back, but he holds on!
Hyde tries to swing a leg over to get up, but Low blasts Hyde a third time,
and Drake loses his grip! Drake plummets 20 feet, and crashes through the announce
table!)
HS-Oh Shit!
FJ-He's dead!!!
(Low gets huge heat as he struts around the top of the cage, taunting the crowd.
The boos suddenly turn to cheers as a man jumps out of the crowd and begins
to scale the cage! He makes it to the top without Low noticing, where he charges
Low from behind!)
FJ-Wait a minute.. that's former EwC World Champ, Michael "Spitfire"
Stevens!
HS-Wow, a former World Champ! Of course the only match of his I ever saw was
where he got pinned by a big Mexican guy with a mullet, but whatever works!
(Stevens clotheslines down Low, then stomps him. He drags Low to the center
of the ring, where he pulls Low up and powerbombs him! The cage shudders, then
the roof gives and Low tumbles down through the cage and smashes into the mat
below!!! The crowd is shocked as Hyde climbs down the piece of hanging Cage
into the ring. He stands over Low until LWA Security runs in and drags him out!)
FJ-Why would he do such a thing?
HS-Did you forget he travelled Japan with Black Dragon? Or that in the UWWA
Spitfire was allied with Drake Hyde?
FJ-oh.. heh...
(Meanwhile, Hyde finally stirs, and crawls on hand and foot to the ring where
Low is still out cold. Drake now has blood running down his face, and a cut
on his shoulder from the fall. Low is bleeding a little less on his forhead,
but his arms and back are cut up from the door incident. Drake finally rolls
into the ring, crawls to Low, and covers him! 1...2...3 NO! KICKOUT BY LOW!!
Both men lie panting in the ring, until they both somehow manage to stand. They
face off once again, blood pouring down each man's face. They get only inches
from each other, as the crowd reaches a fevered pitch! Finally, Low takes a
big swing at Hyde! Hyde stumbles back, then returns the favor. Low fires back,
and Hyde returns. Low swings again, but Hyde blocks it, then hits Low with three
succesive rights! This backs Low against the ropes, and Hyde then whips Low
towards ropes. Low comes back and Hyde ducks for a backdrop, but Low kicks him
in the face! Low goes for the Ace Crusher, but Hyde shoves Low back into the
ropes! Low comes back with a clothesline that Hyde blocks and reverses it into
the Hyde Life!!! Hyde lifts Low into the air, but Low slips the move and lands
behind Hyde! Drake turns around and walks right into the Stunner! Low covers
and gets 1..2..KICKOUT!!! Drake is barely alive, but he kicks out of the Ace
Crusher! Low gets to his feet and flips Hyde onto his back, then quickly locks
in the Low Profile! Hyde is hurting badly, but he crawls towards the ropes!
He finally makes it, and reaches out to grab the bottom rope when Low manages
to pull him back out to the center of the ring!!! Hyde keeps fighting it, but
finally passes out from the pain. The ref checks him and calls for the bell!)
FJ-OH... MY........ GOD!!
HS-That was one of the craziest matches I've ever seen. See, Low IS a class
act!
Announcer-Your winner, and 2001 KING OF THE KAGE, Lowwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!
(The cage is raised, and medical personel rush out to the ring.. BOTH men are
loaded onto stretchers and carted to the back. The camera follows as the two
warriors are put into different ambulances and driven off. The crowd is simply
stunned.)
FJ-I tell you, Herb... This has been a sad night for the LWA... I hope Jack
Happy can make things right...
Mr. Jack Happy vs. Punisher (C)
World Heavyweight Title
("Fat" by Weird Al is cued, and Jack Happy steps out onto the stage.
Several yellow spotlights follow him to the ring, where he gets a MASSIVE pop!
Happy rolls in and waits for the champion. "I Disapear" by Metallica
is cued, and Punisher steps out onto the stage alone. He gets big heat as he
pats the World Title around his waist. He climbs up the steps and drops the
title in the center of the ring, like drawing a line in the sand! The two men
have a staredown, as the ref takes the belt.)
FJ: The staredown is over. We're underway with this one! The Punisher wins
the exchange of punches. He presses Happy to the ropes. Then, sends him for
the ride... off the far side, Punisher catches him and drops Happy onto his
knee for a back breaker. Look at Jack writhe in pain. Punisher wastes no time,
though. He goes for the whip to the buckles... no! It's reversed by Happy and
the World Champ hits the buckles hard. Happy mounts the 2nd turnbuckle and commences
to pummel him as the crowd counts along! Happy steps back... the Punisher staggers
out of the corner... and a leg takedown by Happy... floats over for a front
face lock. The World Champ muscles his way back to his feet but Happy puts him
back to the mat with an arm drag. Both men spring to their feet quick but Punisher
grabs a hold first and rams Happy into the turnbuckle... but Jack answers back
with a kick to the groin... into a small package. Here's the count... 1... 2
& a kick out by Punisher. Happy tries for a Death Valley Driver but his
back gives out. He must still be stinging from that back breaker earlier in
the match. Double leg sweep by the Champ... and he catapults Jack right over
the turnbuckles into the corner post, head first.
HS: Happy has already taken some serious blows in the early going. Now it's
a question of if he can hold out... and we're in the early stages of this bout.
The Punisher is simply too powerful for Jack Happy to handle.
FJ: There is no doubting the immense power of the Punisher. Jack is sent for
the ride to the opposite corner... and he runs shoulder first into the ringpost.
Jack Happy is simply being pummeled here. He staggers out from that corner and
Punisher lands a neck breaker. Now, the World Champ applies a surfboard to the
downed Jack Happy. The Champ is simply toying with him. Jack is not so happy
right now.
HS: Ha, HA! That is most certainly the case.
FJ: Punisher & Happy now back up to a vertical base. Happy is whipped to
the near side... and runs into a stiff clothesline. Punisher follows up with
a falling head butt... with nobody HOME! That staggers the big man. The Champ
looks a bit wobbly... makes his way over to Happy, who takes his legs and shoves
the 338 pounder into the turnbuckles. Happy springs to his feet and rams his
shoulder into the Punisher's mid section. Shaking it off, the Champ turns it
around and rams his shoulder into Happy's midsection. Punisher, still in control,
brings Happy to the center of the ring... executes a reverse atomic drop and
another back breaker for the follow up. Now in perfect position, the World Champ
mounts the 2nd turnbuckle... and lands a leg drop!
HS: What successive and systematic offense from the World Champ. Except for
the onset of this match, the Punisher has been firmly in control. I know Jack
Happy has had success in the past against the Champ but this doesn't look like
one of those winning performances. He's got to make something happen here before
the Punisher wears him down.
FJ: Happy is off for the ride... ducks a clothesline and hits a flying forearm
coming off the far side. Punisher is back on his feet and Happy stays on him
with a flurry of punches. Now, he's blatantly choking the Champ. Is this what
you had in mind for "making something happen", Herb?
HS: Hey, whatever works!
FJ: OK. Happy to the ropes... and heads right into a Punisher power slam! Jack
certainly didn't see that coming. The Champ picks up Happy... hoists him up...
for a running POWERBOMB!! He could've ended it here but Punisher says no...
he's not done. They're back up vertical. Happy is up again... for yet another
running powerbomb... 2 of them in a row... and he's still not going for the
cover. The Champ wants to go for a third time.
HS: This has got to be a mistake. He's asking for trouble if he doesn't go
for the pin.
FJ: Punisher has Happy up for a 3rd running powerbomb... but look at Happy
go with those flurry of punches to the head of the Champ. Punisher is off...
and Happy turns the move into a frankensteiner, right in the center of the ring.
Back up, Happy tries for a gut wrench... but can't pull it off. It's his back...
but he tries again... and he gets it! In spite of his back pain, Jack springs
up and hits the Evenflow DDT. The Punisher looks groggy on all fours. Happy
heads to the ropes and comes off with a dropkick to the head. The Champ is trying
to shake the cobwebs. Jack is off to the ropes once again... and just like that,
the Champ springs up and catches Jack Happy for a spinebuster! Both men are
down. Punisher is crawling over to Jack for the cover. He's almost there...
but at the last second, Happy rolls on top of the Champ and applies a grounded
version of the sleeper hold. Jack is riding on top of the Punisher as he clamps
his sleeperhold. He's making the Champ carry his weight.
HS: Wise move by Jack Happy. His last succession of moves has taken its toll
on the World Champ. He must keep the pressure on because the Punisher is not
out of this match yet.
FJ: Not yet but Happy's riding sleeper is making the Punisher work. He's almost
to the ropes but it was a struggle. The Champ has a hand on the bottom rope.
The ref calls for the break. Happy is now ramming the Punisher's face into the
mat. He stops, though, just before the 5 count. The Champ pulls himself up.
Happy is there and goes for an Irish whip... reversed by the Champ... and he
catches Happy right into a power slam. He has the cover... 1... 2... shoulder
UP... just in the nick of time.
HS: That was TOO close!
FJ: The Punisher couldn't believe it. He felt that he got the pin. Punisher
pulls Happy back to a vertical base. Presses into the corner and sends him for
the ride... no, reversal by... another reversal... no! Happy gets it finally
to the initial corner but the ref gets sandwiched. The ref is out because the
Punisher is plowed right into him. Happy pull the Champ out of the corner...
but gets choked for his troubles. Punisher lifts him up high.
HS: This is it. The Extreme Punishment!
FJ: ... and down Happy goes! The Punisher has Jack Happy down for the count...
but the ref is still unconscious. 1, 1000... 2, 1000... 3, 1000! He's had Jack
Happy down for at least 3 full seconds... but there is no ref there to make
the count.
HS: This is unfortunate for the Punisher. Jack Happy was just making a comeback
and it looks like the Champ turns things around. He's letting go of Jack and
checking on the ref.
FJ: Punisher is frantically shaking the referee awake. It looks like he coming
too. The Champ points over to the center of the ring... and notices that Happy
is not there. He's crawled his way to the opposite corner. The World Champ can't
believe it.
HS: Don't sulk about it now. Get over there and finish the job, Punisher. Don't
let up again or Jack Happy will mount another comeback.
FJ: The Champ makes his way over to Jack. He looks like he's on rubber legs
as well. Happy is trying to pull himself up. Punisher now grabs Happy by his
hood... Jack counters with a low blow. What a desperation move! Punisher hunches
over happy. Looks like he can barely stand. Jack Happy with a double leg sweep.
He has both legs hooked... and catapults the Champ right over the buckles and
into the ringpost! MY GOD! Happy has turned it around again.
HS: The Punisher looks unconscious. His head ran right into that metal post!
FJ: Jack Happy drags the Punisher with what little strength he has left to
the center of the ring. What a slow, methodical process that is at this juncture.
He just collapses over the Punisher... too worn out to reach out & hook
a leg. The ref makes the count.........1 .........2...... KICKOUT!
HS:Punisher kicked out! Happy's not done, though, Frank. He goes to the top,
slowly but surely, and comes off with the BELLY BOMB!!! Happy drapes an arm
across Punisher...1...2....3!!!!!!!!!!!!
HS: Incredible! A NEW WORLD CHAMPION has been crowned! What a spectacular match!
FJ: This has been a long and arduous road back to the World Title for him.
It was his last shot and he's finally come through. Jack Happy, once again the
Heavyweight Champion of the World!!
(The show closes as Happy celebrates in ring. Steve Barnes, Luscious Lori,
Hangman(with a bandaged face), Vapors Adams, Jake Fox, and Erai Abunai and the
rest of the good guys all rush the ring to celebrate with the new Champion!)
