Summer Shootout
(The show opens high above the arena, showing a packed house. The camera slowly
fades in to the announcer's table, where Frank Jackson and Herb Summer are waiting.)
FJ-Welcome, everyone, to Summer Shootout 2000! BOY do we have a card for you
tonight! Every title is on the line... John Blaze defends his hardcore title
against Punisher... The Altar Boys defend the tag titles against Barnes/Dangerously
AND the Anarchists, Lars is putting up his TV Title against Steele's US Title,
and Black Dragon is finally getting his shot at Ray Owens' featherweight title!
HS-Not to mention, the big one, Frank! Theoren Spencer defends his World Heavyweight
Title against Sabotage!
FJ-We also have Erzengel vs. Azz in a flaming table match, and Crimson Dream
vs. Shadow in a strap match! Right now, however-
(The sound system blares, "Strays of the World" by Prince as Nightmare,
Soviet Silencer, and the Spanish Fly Honies seductively walk toward the ring.
Nightmare is wearing a red latex bodysuit that reveals every curve of her body.
Her sexy walk gets immediate audience response as catcalls and whistles rival
the very music being played. The Soviet Silencer provides an equally tantalizing
sight that is dressed similar to WCW's Ms. Hancock. He icy stare is the only
dead give away of her true nature and role within the group. The Spanish Fly
Honies where identical ring; crimson sequence evening gowns the hug their curves
and provide a stunning vision of beauty. They all climb into the ring slowly.
Providing the observer with a blood pumping view of their anatomy. Nightmare
calls for a microphone as the music dies but the whistles and cheers continue.
A few calls for the women to take it off are heard. The ring announcer hurries
over with his microphone. She takes it and rubs her hand across his chest before
shoving him away.)
Nightmare: (Purrs into the microphone) Did you miss me? (The fans erupt in
whistles and cheers once again) Well, I missed you too. (She sensually blows
the audience a kiss) And now introducing the most devastating stable of wrestlers
not only in the AWA but also in any wrestling federation today, Crimson Dream,
Punisher, Black Dragon, and Nightmist accompanied by the ever present Mr. Daniels;
the Elimination Enterprises!!
(The group of wrestlers accompanied by a Black Robed Man make their way down
the aisle amidst a steady stream of boos. They climb into the ring after the
man wearing the black robe and the others drag Nightmist away from a group of
rowdy fans. Nightmare hands over the microphone to the Crimson Dream.)
Crimson Dream: (Rasps) This little gathering is in honor of Mr. Jack Happy,
The Creature of the Night, and the Lone Star Outlaws. There are a few things
we need to make very clear to the wrestlers in back and the President slash
Commissioner Solomon. You guys think that you can get rid of the Elimination
Enterprises, when we do nothing other than grow in experience and strength.
Solomon, you think that you are a big man suspending the Lone Star Outlaws from
the AWA! (His eyes are narrowed) You think the Elimination Enterprises is going
to just let that happen because Jack is not actively wrestling. (He shakes his
head) Tut, tut, tut! You never could grasp this concept Solomon: one for all
and all for one. As corny and cliché as it may sound the Elimination
Enterprises lives it. We may have our family squabbles but do you know what
type of call cops fear the most. Those messy family disagreements because they
are explosive by nature and blood are always thicker than water. (He points
his finger toward the back) We are here to serve notice! Solomon, Judgment Day,
Inc., Spineless Spencer, and anyone else that wants to try to come to oppose
us, we are ready to spill more blood. We won't stop until the carnage that we
leave in our path behind has other wrestlers and newcomers cringe at thought
of wrestling us. Shadow it appears that you are just itching to have your blood
let first. From this day forward, you are going to be my number one priority
and favorite person to beat into the mat.
(The crowd responds with a mixture of cheers and boos. CD paces the ring.)
Shadow, you felt froggie and wanted to jump to the next level. Well, her you
sit! Interfering in a match between the two top contenders for the World Title
and both just as willing to kick your teeth in for ruining our match. But you
know, I don't think you are accessing your memory correctly. Because if you
were, interfering in my match would have been the last thing that you would
ever want to do knowing the inevitable outcome. Just ask Erik Dragon! (He speaks
between clenched teeth) He sought to run me out of the AWA as your faithful
leader. Where is he now? (A sadistic smile spreads across his face) You have
taken the first few steps to your own destruction Mr. "Nightmist Rip-off"!
We have defeated you and your pathetic bunch of no names on more than one occasion.
And we will do it over and over again until everyone in the back realizes that
the Elimination Enterprises is composed of the cream of the crop in this industry!
(The fans boo loudly. CD passes the microphone to Punisher)
Punisher: I have one person on my mind tonight! Blaze is a parasite that has
been a scourge on the Hardcore Division for too long. It is time someone dealt
with him once and for all, and I have taken this responsibility upon my shoulders.
It is my duty, and my pleasure. (The big man stalks over to the ropes and stares
hard at the entrance ramp) Blaze, I am the cure to what ails the Hardcore Division.
Black Dragon attempted to send you a message by taking the belt from you that
something more ominous loomed on the horizon. But you and your buddies didn't
listen to him to what he was saying. That belt your wearing was made for someone
with the guts and intestinal fortitude to leave their opponent laying face down
in the ring. It was made for someone like Mr. Jack Happy. And it is made for
someone like me! Tonight, I bring a bit of gold back home for the Elimination
Enterprises and give the AWA a true Hardcore Champion not just a champion in
name. (He walks back to the rest of the Elimination Enterprise and stands next
to the Crimson Dream. He looks into the masked man's face.) I will dedicate
my victory to two men who have earned my respect and admiration. Firstly, to
my former tag-team partner CON, who is laid out injured. Secondly, it shall
be brought back to the EE in honor of Mr. Jack Happy, founding member of the
EE and a hardcore legend. (He turns and passes the microphone to Nightmist)
Nightmist: (Deep voice booming) "Hot Shot" Ray Owens, Alter Boys,
John Blaze, and last but not least Lars Fredrickson, I have a few words for
you boys to listen to closely. Let me start with Ray Owens. We all seen the
"Hot Shot" was not so hot on the idea of getting into the ring again
with me to test his skills. You and the rest of the Judgment Day Inc. are pathetic.
Now I will be watching ringside as Black Dragon (He walks over to his tag team
partner and pats him on the chest) kicks you unconscious and takes what should
be his, the Cruiserweight title! Now a word to your stable mates and current
tag champions the Alter Boys. The Shadow Warriors defeated you once in a non-title
match up. How about you two or the Anarchist put the titles on the line against
the best tag team in the AWA at this time? (He gestures with his thumb) Because
the Shadow Warriors are primed and ready to collect the gold from you!
(He looks at the other members of the Elimination Enterprises and then finally
looks into Punisher's eyes) Why did I even mention John Blazes name? (He laughs
a deep rumbling laugh) Just habit I guess because I doubt that after his match
with you, he will be wrestling for the next couple of cards. (Turning to the
camera) John Blaze, rest in peace! (He crosses himself as if he were attending
Catholic mass) Now, I come to Lars Fredrickson. (He scratches his head) Despite
exchanging opinions about music, I don't recall the two of us getting into the
ring together. Since you and Weston Steel are wrestling tonight for two belts,
I think it is only fair for me to challenge the winner of that match for the
Television Title! You may ask why should you? Steel, you and I have gone around
on several occasions. I won some and lost a few against you but one thing you
always know is that I am better than those suits claim that I am on the charts.
(He pauses taking in the boos for a moment) Shut up! (He yells at the audience
before charging to the ropes and kicking them as if they were the fans) If one
of you pot bellied old men want to climb in here, I will stretch you neck for
you! How about you? (He points at a particularly mouthy guy) Now as I was saying,
Steel or Fredrickson after tonight know that I am on you trail. And you can
never outrun the night! (He runs his thumb under his chin. He passes the microphone
to the Black Dragon)
Black Dragon: Ray Owens-san fails to recognize my strength and continues to
believe himself superior in the ring. I will make sure he come to grips with
my strength by literally destroying him. Utilizing my training to break down
his body limb by limb if I must to reveal to him the futility of opposing me
in the ring. Once this battle is over he will be a changed man because I have
deigned to allow him a glimpse of my power. He will run back to the Alter Boys
and tell them to fear what the Shadow Warriors are prepared to bring to the
ring. But for now, he better rest assured that the only thought in my head is
to destroy him! (He drops the microphone. "Strays of the World" begins
to play again as the Elimination Enterprises stalk back down the aisle. Before
disappearing through the curtain, Nightmare blows the audience a kiss and waves
much to the pleasure of the men in the audience)
FJ-Wow, those guys make a big impression... Let's get to the ring, though.
It's time for the Flaming Table Match.
MATCH 1: Erzengel vs. Azz (Flaming Table Match)
As the PPV fades into the ring, "The Oddities" by ICP fills the loudspeaker
inciting the fans to come to their feet for the first match of the evening.
Azz appears under the Ameri-tron alongside his official manager, the Ice Cream
Man.
FRANK: It looks like Azz is prepped and ready for this match-up, and what a
way to start...
HERB: Yea! Tonight, right before our eyes, somebody is gonna FRY!
In the ring as Azz slowly stepped onto the apron, the ring crew set a table
up and set the top of it in flames. As the fire burned, the lights dimmed and
the music cut off leaving Azz in the ring next to the flaming table...
HERB: What in the heck is this?!?
A burst of light flashes as the "Angel" theme fills the air. In the
entrance way, Erzengel and his valet, Valkyrie appear. Coming to the ring amongst
the cheers of the fans, Erzengel steps into the ring and stares at Azz and then
to the table...
FRANK: Erzengel definitely is ready for this match-up. You can see it in his
eyes...
The music fades and the lights come back up in the arena. The ref signals for
the bell as Erzengel stares at the much bigger Azz, not intimidated by either
the height or weight advantage that Azz held over the smaller man...
FRANK: Only the AWA can bring you action like this... A match in which the
only way to win is to put your opponent through a Flaming Table...
There is a pause as the two men circle each other in the ring. On the outside,
Valkyrie and the Ice Cream Man stare at each other ruthlessly...
FRANK: Table matches in the WCW is hardcore enough, Flaming Table matches in
the AWA is just downright INSANE! These men definitely have no fear... No fear
at all...
In the ring, Azz makes the first move delivering a devastating combination
of lefts and rights to Erzengel. Eventually, Azz nails Erzengel in the gut,
causing him to lean forward in pain. This proved to be a mistake, as Azz delivered
a massive DDT that shook the ring...
FRANK: What a move! Erzengel is really having trouble with Azz in the early
goings...
Erzengel stumbled to his feet, only to be caught by a clothesline that nearly
took off his head by Azz. As the wrestlers fought in the ring, both kept their
eyes on the table, looking wearily upon it when they hit the ground...
HERB: Does Erzengel have a head after that blow!?! I think Azz just took it
off!
FRANK: Azz is really showing some impressive fight as he is not giving in one
bit to a man that many would consider a future sensation here in the AWA...
Azz delivers a couple of boots to the downed Erzengel, finally pulling the
hurting man to his feet. Signaling to the crowd, Azz drags Erzengel by his head
over towards the table that was in flames on the far side of the ring. The fans
come to their feet as Azz places Erzengel in a powerbomb position...
FRANK: This could be it folks... I don't know if anybody has survived Azz's
patented powerbomb...
In mid motion, Erzengel uses the upward rising momentum from the powerbomb
to cause Azz to fall over landing backwards away from the table. The crowds
gasp, but neither man went through the table...
FRANK: What a reversal!
With Valkyrie cheering him on from the outside, Erzengel whips Azz into the
ropes, causing him to bounce backwards into Erzengel's waiting clutches. With
a fierce velocity, Erzengel delivers a huge huricanrana to Azz. Azz wearily
comes to his feet, but is caught immediately by a series of rights and lefts
by Erzengel that eventually drives Azz into the corner.
FRANK: Erzengel isn't gonna give up easily folks, and I guess this just proves
it...
Erzengel backs up into the opposite turnbuckle from which Azz was standing,
being supported by only the top steel rope. Running foreward, Erzengel was attempting
his well-known "Pureform" Splash, but telegraphed it all the way in.
When Erzengel hit mid flight, Azz dodged it and planted Erzengel face first
into the top turnbuckle...
HERB: That one's got to hurt!
Azz once again signals to the fans instead of following up the advantage. Slowly,
he gathers the flaming table and drags it to the "perfect" position
under the turnbuckle...
FRANK: What's next?!?
Azz places Erzengel's still wobbily form on the top rope, and climbs slowly
up it himself. Azz grabs Erzengel in a Yurinagi Suplex position and lines him
up to the flaming table behind him. Falling from the turnbuckle, Azz had definitely
taken too much time, as in the middle of the move, Azz found himself in the
midst of a huge reversal by Erzengel. Using the position of Azz to his advantage,
Erzengel delivers a huge DDT through the table. Azz's body crashed lifelessly
through the flaming heap. Immediately, the ref calls for the bell...
FRANK: That's it folks! Erzengel has won his PPV debut here in the AWA!
WINNER: Erzengel
As the ring crew cleaned up the mess in the ring, and as Erzengel slowly made
his way back to the locker room area, the scene cut to the desk location at
ringside...
FRANK: Now I know many of you have been wondering what has been going on with
a certain Erik Dragon as of late. If you remember right, Erik took a nasty fall
out the hands of Crimson Dream and has been out since, let's roll the footage...
The screen showed the scene that all Erik Dragon fans shuddered at seeing.
From the balcony above, Erik Dragon fell into a heap of wires and electrical
equipment, causing it all to spark and shattered under his body...
FRANK: Well, even though the AWA Magazine could not get a hold of Erik Dragon,
earlier today, the public relations official for Erik Dragon and even Erik Dragon
himself held a brief press meeting in order to discuss his future plans for
the AWA... We bring you now exclusive footage from that meeting...
On the screen now, the scene shows a hospital press room with a podium and
a microphone all set-up for a speaker... The press officials sit restlessly
awaiting the presence of Erik Dragon, who eventually shows up being wheeled
in a wheel chair by a rather attractive young nurse and his public relations
official. The PR official walks up to the mic and shuffles a few papers before
continuing...
PR OFFICIAL: Good day everyone. We're glad that so many of you showed up for
this a press conference to discuss the future plans of one Erik Dragon. Well,
we have good news and we have bad news, so let's first start out with the good
news. Doctors today have informed Erik and his family that his spine had not
been shattered, as was first expected. Instead, he has ruptured a few vertebrate
that will require future surgery before he is even close to normal again...
Now that bad news, the Doctors also informed Erik Dragon that he would never
step in the ring again. Not for the AWA, not for the MMWF, not for anyone. The
fall he took during the match on Primetime was the last time Erik Dragon would
ever be seen in a match... For more information, I'm going to turn this conference
over to Erik Dragon now... Erik, if you may...
As Erik was rolled up next to the microphone, the screen began to get fuzzy...
Static and snow caused a large amount of distortion, that eventually killed
the audio... The scene cut back to the AWA ringside location where Frank stood
not sure of what was going on...
FRANK: I'm sorry folks, but there seems to be a bit of problems with the audio
and video... OH wait... It seems as though they are saying we are going to be
able to show the footage after all... Roll tape again please...
The scene starts out with Erik talking at the press conference again, but there
was once again no audio. Finally, an eerie "Godfather"-type theme
is heard over the buzzing of the press conference, and after a few moments,
the scene fades to a black and white video feed of a restaurant. Sitting at
a table alone was a man with dark brown hair and green eyes. He was dressed
in the height of Italian Mafia motif, as he stares at the cup of water that
was in front of him...
MAN: (With a thick Italian accent) Hello AWA... Now I'm sorry to interrupt
that important feed of Erik Dragon's press conference, but there are more important
things to discuss... Let me introduce myself, the name's Tony Ragu. You know,
like the sauce, only thicker...
Tony Ragu winks at the camera as though that were some cheesy pick up line
when in all actuality it made absolutely no sense what-so-ever...
TONY RAGU: I'm just here to inform everyone that they should be on the look
out for me, because my entrance into the AWA is only a short period of time
away. Its time the family business gained a new edge. You know, a new attitude
to appeal to the younger audiences... That's why I'm gonna bring the family
into the wrestling audience. I'm talking mainstream full-blown Italian style...
Tony Ragu snapped his fingers as two other men in Italian Mafia motifs appeared.
At first they were hard to identify, but soon after, any AWA fan recognized
them as being Vinny and Oz. Two of Erik Dragon's former hired goons...
TONY RAGU: Rubbing his chin, in pure godfather style I'm here, I'm Italian,
and I'm badder than that so called American Bad Ass...
Tony Ragu takes a drink of his drink in front of him and the scene pulls back
and goes back to the ringside location. The color is back in the picture now,
as Frank is just seen staring at the monitor...
FRANK: I'm not even gonna ask what that was all about...
HERB:(All smiles because of what he had just seen) I like him already... When's
he start?!?
MATCH 2: Punisher vs. John Blaze (Hardcore Title Match-up)
Frank just shook his head as the lights in the arena go out. Red spotlights
focus on the entrance way, as the fans jump to their feet in cheers. They recognized
who this was already, and he was definitely a man not to be reckoned with.
HERB: Gawd, I hate when this happens...
The Punisher makes his way to the ring accompanied by a thumping drum beat.
The spotlights follow him into the ring, where after a burst of light, the arena
is flooded once again with its normal lighting...
FRANK: This aughtta be a good match-up as we are seeing the Punisher gaining
his first title shot since re-entry back into the AWA..
HERB: If I was John Blaze I would definitely not want to be in that ring right
now...
"Victory" by Puff Daddy fills the air, as John Blaze makes his entrance
into the ring. When both men are standing face to face, the ref calls for the
bell in this, the start of a hardcore title match-up...
FRANK: Here we go.... And as always in these the AWA Hardcore matches, you
never know what to expect...
Bouncing off the ropes immediately, the Punisher uses his force to perform
a classic shoulder block on the now falling Blaze. Hitting the mat after the
Punisher colided with him, Blaze was stunned at the Punisher's obvious power
advantage. The Punisher just smiled under his black mask as Blaze struggled
to get to his feet...
FRANK: This match might be rather short if Blaze doesn't get up...
The Punisher uses Blaze's hesitation to his advantage. Running at him, the
Punisher delivers a massive running knee lift onto Blaze's chest. Blaze was
lifted into the air and towards the ropes.
FRANK: The Punisher is just too quick on the offensive for Blaze... I don't
know if Blaze is even in the Punisher's league...
The Punisher once again took advantage of Blaze's slowness to get to his feet.
Using the building momentum he gained, the Punisher delivered a stern kick to
Blaze's midsection that sent Blaze reeling to the ropes, and then to the floor
on the outside...
FRANK: The Punisher is showing his brute strength right now... There is quickness,
strength, and a massive crowd appeal, all working for the Punisher tonight...
Blaze began walking back towards the locker room area, as the Punisher quickly
bailed out of the ring and followed him. The camera's kept up with the two wrestlers,
as the referee was having a worse time trying to move his little legs as fast
the two men were going. As soon as they hit the back locker rooms, Blaze picked
up a chair and threw it at the Punisher to slow his progress. The Punisher shrugged
off the flying chair, and smiled at Blaze in a cocky smile, saying almost "You
shouldn't have done that..." Trying to get an advantage, Blaze went flying
at the Punisher only to be sent head first into the cement floor of the locker
room hall way...
FRANK: A flying chair, the Punisher shrugs it off.. A flying Blaze, the Punisher
slams it into the floor... Is there anything that can stop this monster!?!
The Punisher had enough toying with Blaze and sent him through a locker room
door. Out of the locker room, a bunch of scantily clad Primetime Girls ran out
with screeches and shrieks as the two wrestlers busted into it without warning...
The referee followed into the locker room, a little bit more modest than Blaze
and the Punisher though...
HERB: Puppies!
FRANK: Is that all you think about?!? We have a man getting slaughtered in
there, and all you think about is PUPPIES?!?
In the Primetime Girls' locker room, the Punisher grabs Blaze's head and sends
him head first into a locker, denting it on impact. Blaze's head was cut open
as the gash poured blood almost immediately... Blaze stepped back stunned, as
the Punisher had enough.. Grabbing Blaze with his massive hands, the Punisher
lifted him up into the Extreme Punishment and drove him into the cement hard.
Blaze convulsed a bit as he hit, and the Punisher went down for a lackluster
cover... FRANK: 1...2...3! That's it folks, we have a new hardcore champion!
WINNER: Punisher, and NEW Hardcore Champion
FJ: Up next we have the tag team titles on the line for not one but two tag
teams to have a shot at on the show. The Alter Boys are taking on the Anarchist
and Steve "Iceman" Barnes and Dan E. Dangerously. This is an elimination
style match up as both teams are in line for a shot at the tag gold.
HS: What kind of moron agrees to a match like this? That doesn't sound too
bright to me! Instead of having to beat one team, you have to beat two.
"Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio begins to play as the Anarchist emerge
at the top of the ramp. Hellraizer has long black hair dyed in an eye-catching
manner because the colors mix in together. It goes from red (at the roots) to
yellow (at the tips) going through orange and all the colors that run in between.
To the ring he wears a T-shirt saying "It's Time" on the front and
"For Hell To Be Raized" on the back. It is a black sleeveless shirt
and the writing is in blood like red. He takes the shirt off to wrestle. His
pants are black and have "Hell" up his left leg in red letters and
"Raizer" up his right leg. His pants have zips up the sides so he
can take them off easily because he doesn't wrestle in them. He wrestles in
some knee length shorts that are red. He has a tattoo on his back that is red
and has flames and Hell above the flames and Raizer below the flames. Standing
next to him, the Assassin is a well-built man. He has short, black hair but
you cannot see it because he wears a mask. He wears a blue ninja suit. The pants
have black flames coming in diagonally from the sides and he wears a black belt.
His shirt is basically the same as his pants, it is blue with black flames coming
in from the sides. He wears a mask that is black with holes for the eyes and
mouth (a bit like Kane's) that also has flames coming in from the side and they
are blue. The men stalk forward amidst a chorus of boos and someone threw a
beverage in a cup from the audience. The paper cup hits the Assassin on the
side of the face and it splatters across his mask. He yells even more at the
fans as they proceed down the aisle and into the ring.
FJ: Boy, the Anarchist aren't getting much respect from the audience tonight!
"Sad but True" by Mettalica plays over the sound system as an intense,
tough, rugged, strong, bald headed fighting machine emerges from behind the
curtain and stands for a minute listening to the cheers of the audience. They
begin to chant his name "Iceman" as they recognize Steve Barnes. He
has a very defined, muscular face with a thin dark brown goatee. He has greenish/blue
eyes and thin dark brown eyebrows. He has a massive neck and very broad muscular
shoulders. He has huge trapezium muscles that protrude high off his neck to
his mid-shoulder (ala Sid). His arms are massively defined with a single barbwire
tattoo on his right arm and an old Japanese dragon symbol on his left. His chest
and torso are very chiseled as if he was made out of stone. His back is very
strong and flexible which helps him bend and twist out of tight clamping holds.
His legs are massive and very powerful which not only gives him great leverage
in his moves but also uncanny quickness for his size. He wears black fingerless-gloves
on both hands and a thin, tight, black wrap around his right elbow. He wears
black tights that go down to about the mid quadriceps. He wears a single black
knee brace on his right (just for protection) and plain old black boots. The
back of these boots bare a small Japanese symbol that stands for ice. Shortly
after he emerges, his tag team partner Dan E. Dangerously. He is a well-built
wrestler with a very handsome face. He has short brown hair that he keeps very
nicely trimmed. He has a pretty slender looking face with very bright blue eyes.
He has a little bit of five o'clock shadow on his face. He has average shoulders
and an average chest. Both are nicely defined, but not overly muscular. His
arms are one of the two strongest parts of his body. His legs are the strongest
part of his body. Both men charge toward down the ramp and toward the ring as
the crowd cheers in anticipation. They slide into the ring and begin to go at
the Anarchists.
FJ: Look at the size of those quads on Dangerously! We know the source of his
power.
HS: And don't think his opponents are blind to that fact either!
In the ring, Dangerously has Hellraizer backing up under a barrage of blows.
Hellraizer fires back landing a boot to the midsection stalling Dangerously
momentarily. But is was just enough time for Hellraizer to send a thumb to the
eye! Dangerously is momentarily blind as he is taken down by a well-executed
Russian Leg Sweep. Hellraizer immediately leaves Dangerously on the canvas to
bail out his tag partner whom is being manhandled by the Iceman. Iceman delivers
a series of punches before connecting with a standing sidekick to the chin of
the Assassin who flies back into the turnbuckle. Iceman begins to stalk forward
but is ran over with a double axe handle blow by Hellraizer. Iceman caught off
guard crumbles to the ground. Hellraizer lays the boots to the fallen Iceman,
not worrying about Dangerously who has slowly cleared his vision. Dangerously
charges across the ring and delivers a picture perfect dropkick. Hellraizer
is sent through the ropes to the outside.
HS: These guys are trying to cut the odds early! The Champions haven't even
had their intro yet and these two teams are taking each other apart.
The announcer hurriedly introduces the tag team Champions.
Announcer: Introducing at a combined weight of 474lbs and standing 6'1"
and 6'5" respectively, they are the AWA World Tag Team Champions Brother
Albert and Brother Johnny, Th-e-e Alter Boys!
The two men enter the arena dressed in a white robes, which they quickly take
off as they charge down the aisle toward the ring. Revealing a very large and
excellently cut pair of body builder's body. (5% and 4%body fat respectively)
The crowd cheers again with the impending clash in the air! The two men catch
Hellraizer as he was attempting to re-enter the ring and begin to pummel him
outside of the ring. Brother Albert delivers some clubbing forearm shots as
Brother Johnny drives the knee into the midsection. The Alter Boys stop the
pummeling only to grab his arms and whip him with awesome force into the guardrails
ringside. CRASH! They leave him laying as the referee calls for the bell and
threatens to throw the whole thing out. In the meantime, Iceman and Dangerously
deliver a double team vertical suplex to the Assassin. At the sound of the bell,
Dangerously leaves the ring to the apron leaving Iceman and the Assassin inside.
The Alter Boys stand on the apron on one corner waiting to be tagged into the
ring. "Iceman" pulls the Assassin up by the mask and connects with
a gargoyle suplex.
FJ: The Anarchist seem to be in trouble! Hellraizer has made it to his corner
holding his ribs after he was whipped hard into the metal guardrails. The Assassin
can not get his wind as the "Iceman" is all over him.
Before the Assassin can get up, the Iceman charges in catching him with a punishing
forearm to the side of the face and ear. Seemingly dazed, the Assassin is pulled
to his feet once again by the Iceman. The Iceman whips him into the ropes and
charges at him coming off the rope in an attempted spear. Amazingly the Assassin
times his movement and unloads with a targeted martial arts kick. SMACK! The
sound echoes in the auditorium as the Iceman recoils from the impact and crashes
to the side. The Assassin falls to the mat too, but hastily gets to his feet
and staggers over to Brother Albert and makes the tag. Brother Albert enters
the ring as the Iceman is on all fours trying to shake away the cobwebs.
HS: In the Iceman's haste to try to make it quick with the Assassin, he forgot
that this man in a very skilled martial artist. A kick like that would have
taken the average man's head right of his shoulders.
Albert catches the Iceman getting to his feet and applies the sleeper hold.
Iceman struggles in his grasp as the massive arms try to slow the circulation.
The Iceman is beginning to feel the effects of the hold and grasps desperately
toward the ropes. Iceman in a show of experience drops down causing Albert to
absorb a jawbreaker. Albert breaks the hold and clutches his chin momentarily.
He comes forward and is caught as Iceman drops to the canvas with a dragon screw
leg whip. Albert tumbles across the ring. Iceman dives for the tag and Dangerously
storms the ring. He delivers a running knee lift to Albert as he was getting
up. He uses the momentum to take him over to catch Johnny with a back elbow
in his corner. Johnny is jarred back but he clings to the ropes as Dangerously
lays into Albert with a series of punches. He spins around and nails Albert
with a Big Right Hand Punch! Albert hits the canvas again as Dangerously seems
unstoppable. Dangerously springs into the ropes only to be caught in the back
with a martial arts kick to the back from the Assassin who was on that side
of the ring apron. The fans erupt in boos. Dangerously staggers forward holding
his kidney area and Brother Albert catches him with a kick to the stomach and
a DDT. Albert quickly covers the man.
FJ: An "Evenflow DDT" from Brother Albert and this could be it for
the Alliance team. No! Dangerously kicks out on two.
Dangerously kicks out and Brother Albert pulls him up. He applies a side headlock
and drags Dangerously back to the Anarchist corner where he tags in Hellraizer.
Albert holds Dangerously as Hellraizer climbs the top rope. Albert realizes
too late his mistake as Hellraizer nails him with a spinning heel kick from
the top rope. Albert crashes to the mat dragging Dangerously down with him.
Hellraizer drops a fist onto Dangerously before connecting with a spinning neckbreaker.
Dangerously hits the mat and holds his neck as he tries to get to his feet quickly.
Hellraizer takes advantage of the slowed man and Bulldogs him into the mat.
He attempts to cover as the Iceman is stomping his foot on the outside encouraging
his partner on. The referee counts 1..kickout! Hellraizer didn't expect that
quick kickout and begins to pummel the man with closed fists. The referee begins
the ten count and just before ten Hellraizer gets to his feet.
HS: Dangerously is showing us a lot. He seems to be very resilient.
Hellraizer catches Dangerously again with the Twist of fate! Dangerously is
motionless on the canvas. Hellraizer hurries to the neutral corner and scales
the turnbuckles. He steadies himself before launching himself in a Moonsualt.
But Dangerously finds the strength to roll out of the way. Hellraizer lands
hard! He appears to have re-aggravated those injured ribs! Dangerously gets
to his feet and pulls Hellraizer up into a military press before walking over
to the ropes. He hot shots him over the top rope. Hellraizer sputters after
landing on his back clutching at his throat. Dangerously tags in Brother Johnny.
Brother Johnny comes into the ring and pulls Hellraizer up into a bear hug.
FJ: With those ribs, I don't think Hellraizer can endure this type of pain.
The Assassin hits the ring running and connects with martial arts chops across
the massive neck and shoulder area of Johhny. His arm weakens and he breaks
the hold. He spins around only to see the Assassin returning to his corner.
When he turns back around, he is met with a low blow by Hellraizer who hurries
to the corner with the Iceman for a tag. The Iceman and Dangerously step off
the apron refusing to tag the underhanded Hellraizer. Hellraizer calls them
cowardice dogs before turning toward his partner. Johnny runs him over with
a clothesline as the Alliance step back onto the apron and reach for a tag.
A weakened Johnny all too eagerly obliges and the Iceman jumps into the ring.
The Iceman catches Hellraizer around the waist and delivers multiple snap suplexes.
After the last one, Hellraizer is crumbled on the mat. Iceman pulls him up and
connects with the Iceman DDT. The Assassin attempts to enter the ring but Dangerously
cuts him off with a Full Nelson and turns it into a Full Nelson Face Buster!
Iceman puts on the Canadian Crossface and Hellraizer tries to hang in for the
break but it never comes. He franticly waves his hand as his abused back and
neck can no longer take the strain. The referee motions to the Assassin to exit
the ring as he is just recovering from the face buster. Dangerously is back
on the apron waiting the tag.
FJ: The Anarchist are eliminated! And now it is down between the champions
and Steve "Iceman" Barnes/ Dangerously! This action has been great!
Iceman and Albert wearily circle each other, knowing they are facing an opponent
that closely resembles themselves. The two men lock up and struggle in a test
of strength. Iceman seems to get the advantage as he takes Albert over with
a hip toss. Albert rolls to his feet slowly as Iceman points at him and motions
him forward. Albert angered by the challenge locks up with Barnes again. Both
men struggle for the advantage whirling around the ring and along the ropes.
They end up rolling into the corner of the Alter Boys where a waiting Johnny
brings the forearm down across the back of the neck and shoulders of the Iceman.
Johnny pins Iceman's arms to the ropes as Albert knife edge chops him. Slap!
The fans respond with a WHOOO after each chop. The referee reaches nine and
one half before Johnny releases the hold. Albert steps back away from Iceman,
who takes a step forward before Johnny reaches over the ropes and grabs him
by the hair. He slams him back into the turnbuckle and lariats him knocking
him to the mat in the corner. Brother Albert continued to back away as this
was taking place and now charges forward from across the ring. He delivers the
Broncho Buster and the fans cheer as he jumps up and down. The referee pulls
him of Barnes! Albert shoves the referee away and hoists back up against the
turnbuckle for another round of knife edge chops. Dangerously is beside himself
with anger in his corner and gets the fans into the match even more by starting
an Iceman chant.
FJ: The fans are really into this one! Look at them. The tag champs are looking
on top of their game right now.
Iceman is pulled up into a body slam and tossed halfway across the ring by
the powerful Albert. Albert tags in Johnny. Iceman recovering from the attack
meets Johnny coming in with a thunderous right hand. Johnny is rocked back but
fires off a blow of his own. It rocks Iceman with the impact. Iceman fires off
another one. Johnny is sucked into throwing another blow and Iceman pulls him
into a Gargoyle suplex. Johnny lands hard as Iceman hits the ropes and comes
off with a Garvin Stomp. Johnny curls up in the fetal position on the mat trying
to catch his breath. Iceman makes it unsteadily over for the hot tag. Dangerously
comes in the ring and delivers a drop kick to Johnny as he attempts to get to
his feet. Johnny crashes back to the canvas. Dangerously lands a big right hand
the makes Johnny fall back into the ropes. Johnny springs off of the ropes and
is nailed with a Spine Buster!
HS: It looks like the champs are in trouble. Dangerously seems to be a man
on a mission...
"Who Wants to Live Forever" by Queen is heard over the sound system
as Shadow comes stalking out from behind the curtains carrying his bat. He slowly
walks up the aisle as the Iceman notices him from across the ring. Iceman points
his finger at him and calls him a miserable SOB! He dares him to come into the
ring. The referee also notices the man coming down to the ring.
FJ: Here comes trouble in the form of the deceitful Shadow!
The referee warns off Shadow and tells him that if he interferes the match
will be tossed with a forfeiture of the gold. While this is taking place, Albert
has slipped into the ring and has super kicked Dangerously in the back of the
head. Dangerously falls like a ton of bricks. Albert hurries back out as the
referee turns to find Johnny slowly climbing to his feet and Dangerously on
the canvas. Johnny pulls Dangerously up and whips him into the ropes only to
spear him and pummel him with blows. The referee demands a break but the damage
is done. Dangerously is looking the worst for ware after all of the punishment
that he has absorbed. Johnny pulls him up into a gorilla press slam and dumps
him over the top rope to the cement floor. He stalks out of the ring behind
him. Johnny stomps him for good measure before pull him up and whipping him
toward the guardrails. Dangerously makes the adjustment and reverses the move.
Johnny hits the rail with impact but bounces off and takes Dangerously down
with a clothesline. The referee is counting the men out. Johnny pulls Dangerously
up and Gorilla Presses him again only to drop him on the metal ring stairs.
Johnny slides back into the ring as Dangerously lays across the metal steps.
In the meantime, on the outside the Crimson Dream has come from the back with
the leather strap in his hand. Shadow watching for his opening doesn't notice
this taking place. And only takes notice as the sting of leather upon flesh
jolts him out of his concentration. The Crimson Dream lashes viscously at Shadow
driving him away from the ring. Shadow disappears over the rail and escapes
through the crowd. The Crimson Dream seeing no need to pursue him returns to
the top of the ramp.
FJ: What could happen next in this match?
Dangerously is helped back into the ring by Iceman after an exchange of strategy.
He nods his head but he looks out on his feet. He is met in the ring by a series
of kicks form Johnny. He collapses against the ropes and as Johnny comes in
he lashes out with a mule kick. Johnny is stopped cold and doubles in pain.
Dangerously connects with the Flapjack and covers for the pin. Referee counts
1..2.kickout! Brother Johnny kicks out. Dangerously gets to his feet and attempt
to walk to his corner, but Brother Johnny trips him up. Brother Johnny catches
him again attempting to get to his feet with a low leg sweep. Brother Johnny
grabs Dangerously and executes The Blessing!! He covers the Iceman attempts
to get into the ring to break it up but as he steps through the ropes his other
foot is stuck. He looks down only to find Shadow holding his foot. Brother Albert
storms across the ring and delivers a forearm shot to the unaware Iceman that
sends him crashing off back through the ropes to the cement floor. As the referee
counts, Shadow slips back into the crowd amongst the chorus of boos. Referee
1..2..3!!
FJ: The referee didn't see a thing!! What was the purpose of Shadow doing that,
the match was over anyway!
HS: You don't play chess do you? This was more than a tag title match, this
was the Alliance versus the JDI! It is a mental game being played out there
as well. Crimson Dream versus Shadow (strap match)
FJ: Next up we have a match that has been brewing over the last couple of shows
and even earlier tonight. As the Crimson Dream faces another member of the Judgment
Day Inc, we can only wonder what this match has in store for us besides the
brutality of two men bound together by a leather strap.
HS: I know what it has in store for us. The Crimson Dream faced Brother Albert
in a strap match earlier this week and peeled the flesh off of his back. Now
he faces the Shadow, I think there is more to this match that meets the eye
as far as the JDI are concerned. The Shadow is one sneaky bastard!
"When the Smoke Clears" by Ghostface Killah is heard playing over
the sound system as the entrance ramp begins to fill up with a crimson fog obscuring
all vision. It slowly begins to disappear and standing in the middle of the
entrance ramp is the Crimson Dream. He wears a crimson body suite and mask.
It is a velvet type material. He wears black paten leather wrestling boots with
the initials CD on the left and a airbrushed picture of a hooded figure on the
other. Also, he occasionally wears a trench coat with the same airbrushed hooded
figure on the back with the words Sandmen of Carnage under it. And the words,
"The Prophet" above the picture on back. Emerging from the back is
Nightmare. Nightmare is a seductive, curvaceous woman that uses her feminine
wiles to their fullest. Her long sandy brown hair, hazel eyes, and honey brown
complexion make her strikingly beautiful to most men. She wears the same outfit
from earlier tonight. The pair walks down the aisle amidst cheers, catcalls,
and quite a few boos. Upon reaching the ring, CD climbs into the ring and removes
his trench coat and passes it to Nightmare. Upon removing the leather trench
coat, all can see draped across his neck and shoulders the blood stained leather
strap. He wraps one end around his wrist and tosses the other end away from
his body. The fans cheer as he does this knowing what is to come next. "Who
Wants to Live Forever" by Queen plays over the loudspeakers as a well-built
man in all black emerges from between the curtains and walks toward the ring.
The fans boo loudly and yell at the man. Shadow climbs in the ring and picks
up the other end of the strap. He puts it on his wrist and makes sure it is
secure. The referee checks Crimson Dreams wrist to make sure that the strap
is tight. Shadow takes advantage of the referee's position and attacks. He takes
Crimson Dream down with a clothesline. The referee jumps to safety and signals
for the bell all in the same motion.
HS: You can't be a fat slob and expect to be a referee in the AWA, no sir.
You have to be able to move quickly to save your own ass at times.
FJ: Shadow not letting Crimson Dream get off to a good start like he did against
Brother Albert.
Shadow stomps the head of Crimson Dream who rolls to try to avoid the blows.
Shadow drops down and begins to use both of his hands to blatantly choke Crimson
Dream. Crimson Dream is struggling under the choke. But Crimson Dream begins
to use his size and power advantage over the smaller Shadow. He places his own
hands around Shadows wrists and pulls the hands away from his throat. Both men
get to their feet as Crimson Dream has his hands still locked around Shadow's
wrists. Shadow wastes no time and kicks the larger man in the midsection doubling
him over. Shadow bulldogs Crimson Dream to the mat. He gets to his feet as Crimson
Dream is slowly attempting to get to his. Shadow loops the belt and swings it
forcefully landing a lashing blow across the back of the Crimson Dream. CRACK!
The fans react. CRACK! Shadow drops the leather across his back again. Crimson
Dream absorbs the two blows and tackles Shadow to the ground. He uses his weight
and pins Shadow to the mat as he quickly swivels his wrist wrapping the strap
around his hand. He then begins to drop jackhammer type blows with his leather-clad
fist. Shadow struggles to get free from the larger man and eventually does after
taking several blows. Both men get to their feet. But before Shadow is steady
on his feet, Crimson Dream jerks the strap forward and lunges catching Shadow
with a lariat. Both men crash to the mat, Crimson Dream loops the belt and delivers
a lashing to Shadow. CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!
HS: You just can't let this man catch you off guard like that because he lives
and breathes this match.
Shadow rolls and gets to his feet. He locks up with Crimson Dream and is thrust
away in a show of power from the former world's champion. Shadow looks around
the ring trying to find an advantage. He shoots to the ropes and comes off ducking
under CDs lariat attempt. He stops in his tracks and uses the strap to take
the feet out from under CD. He drops the elbow and attempts to apply the figure-four
leg-lock. Crimson Dream lands a hard right to the side of the Shadows head momentarily
wobbling him. CD attempts to get up but is hit with a knee lift sending him
down again. This time Shadow wisely wraps the strap around the big man's ankles
and heads to the first corner. He slaps it and attempts to drag CD to the next
one. CD puts the breaks on and Shadow loops the strap and attempts to lash CD.
CD takes the opportunity to use his legs and pull Shadow forward catching him
in the midsection with his feet. Shadow sinks to his knees trying to catch his
breath. CD clears the strap from around his ankles and pulls Shadow up. CD delivers
a bone jarring standing sidekick to the face and Shadow collapses to the canvas.
CD loops the strap around his fist again and once again unleashes on the fallen
man. Crimson Dream busts him open as Shadows blood begins to be seen on the
strap. After a few more blows, CD drops Shadow to the mat. He drags him to the
first turnbuckle and slaps it. He is on his way to the second when Shadow digs
in and stops his progress while still on the mat. Shadow is on his knees head
slumped as CD approaches him. Shadow times it just right and releases a low
blow! He sends a right-left combination to the doubled over head of CD who sinks
to one knee. Shadow climbs to his feet and whips the stunned CD into the turnbuckle
to set up his patented splash. But as he dives, CD raises the boot and catches
him in mid-air. CD quickly sets him up for a gut wrench powerbomb and executes
it with ease. Shadow is stunned as CD tags this second turnbuckle as he hoists
Shadow up to the top. He climbs up only to receive a desperate eye gouge from
Shadow. Shadow executes a Tornado DDT. CD crashes hard as does Shadow both men
aren't moving.
FJ: This is grueling!
CD and Shadow begin to stir at the same time. They get to their feet and Shadow
throws a right CD blocks it and returns the blow. This exchange occurs twice
more and Shadow is wobbly. CD has a fierce look in his eyes as he wraps the
strap around Shadows neck and executes a neck breaker. Shadow can be heard choking
as CD keeps the strap pulled tightly in his hand. He pulls Shadow back up by
the strap and drags him toward the ropes as Shadows legs begin to look like
Jell-o! He hops over the top rope to the apron where he executes a viscous hot
shot as he jumps off the apron to the floor, nearly taking Shadows head with
him. CD quickly climbs back up and jumps over the top rope. He finishes choking
out Shadow and drags his limp body to the third and fourth turnbuckle. The referee
signals for the bell and hurries to remove the strap from around Shadows neck.
After he does this, Crimson Dream shoves the referee away and begins to pound
mercilessly on Shadow with the strap laden fist. "American Badass"
by Kid Rock blares over the sound system as Rick Wagner comes running down the
ramp and to the ring. He climbs up to the top rope as Crimson Dream focused
on the carnage at hand doesn't notice. Wagner leaps off and delivers a Diving
Reverse DDT to the Crimson Dream. Dream lands hard and rolls slowly out of the
ring as Wagner dares him to come back into the ring. The referee has finally
got Shadow back to his senses and assists him to his feet. Shadow extends his
hand in gratitude and receives Wagner's hand. But instead of shaking Shadow's
hand, he delivers a belly-to-belly overhead release suplex. The crowd boos.
Crimson Dream takes this opportunity to get back into the ring and the two men
mix it up. Security swarms the ring and breaks up the brawl as the EMTs attend
to Shadow.
FJ: This type of match brings out the worst in everyone! Did you see Wagner
come in and nail both of this guys with some nice moves?
HS: I know Crimson Dream and Shadow won't soon forget what Wagner did here
tonight!
FJ-Man, what a night! As you can see, the cage is being lowered now, and we're
about ready for our Featherweight Title Match!
Announcer-Introducing first....weighing in at 181 pounds... He represents Elimination
Enterprises.... Black Dragon!
("Agnus Dei" by William Byrd is cued, and Black Dragon hits the ring,
alone. He moves slowly but with a purpose. He climbs through the door, and waits
in the ring.)
A-His opponent...weighing in at 225 pounds... he is your AWA Featherweight
Champion, representing JDI... "Hot Shot" Ray Owens!
("So Damn Cool" by Ugly Kid Joe is cued, and Owens hits the ring
running! He drops his belt on the outside and climbs in the ring, where he begins
to trade chops with the Dragon. Owens fires Dragon into the ropes, then drops
to the floor. Dragon bounces off the ropes and then jumps over Owens, who quickly
stands. Dragon goes for a crossbody, but Owens catches him! Dragon wiggles free
however, and immediatly goes for an arm twist. Owens quickly reverses it the
other way and flips Dragon over. However, Dragon lands on his feet and immediatly
fires off a spinning wheel kick. Owens ducks it, and grabs Dragon around the
waist, before giving him a weak spinebuster. Owens quickly gave a slingshot
to Dragon, slamming his face against the cage! Dragon stumbled backwards, right
into a german suplex! Owens bridged for a pinfall, but Dragon used his momentum
to roll over, and got to his feet first. Owens hopped up as well, and was immediatly
dropped by a high angle dropkick! Owens then scoop slammed Dragon, and went
for an elbow drop. Dragon rolled out of the way, however, and quickly hit a
standing moonsault! Both men got up slowly, and circled, the whole time getting
a standing ovation. They locked up, and Owens up Dragon into a headlock. Dragon,
however, quickly fired Owens into the ropes. Dragon attempted a hip-toss, but
Owens landed on his feet. Owens then kneed Dragon in the gut, doubling him over.
Owens then attempted a Fame-Asser, but Black Dragon flipped him back over, where
Owens landed on his feet again. Black Dragon then took him down with an Enziguiri.
Black Dragon then made a run for the door, and got about halfway out, until
Owens caught up with him, and pulled him back in the ring. Black Dragon connected
with a bridging Dragon Suplex, but only got a two. Owens stumbled to his hands
and knees, but Black Dragon dropped him with an axe kick! Black Dragon then
rolled up Owens in a Mahistrol Cradle, but only got a two again! Black Dragon
then put Owens in a headlock, and went for a swinging bulldog, but Owens flipped
him over his back. Dragon landed on his feet, and was immedietly dropped with
a superkick from Owens. Owens then climbed onto the second turnbuckle, and spiked
Dragon with a jumping DDT! Owens slowly tried to get out the door again, but
tripped over the rope. He slid halfway through the ropes, and was almost to
the floor, when Dragon grabbed his foot and pulled him back. Dragon pulled Owens
almost all the way back in, until Owens nailed a sharp kick to Dragon's head,
and slid out again! his hands where only a few inches from the floor, when Dragon
cleared the cobwebs and did a springboard off a nearby rope, hitting a moonsault
on Owens' exposed back! Dragon waited until Owens' stumbled to his feet, before
running at him and taking him down with a flying headscissors takedown. Dragon
then attempted it again, but Owens' reversed it into the Shot in the Dark! Owens
then set up the prone Dragon for the Double Shot, and quickly powerbombed Dragon
once, then twice, then twisted his legs into the Cloverleaf, but before Owens
could turn him, Dragon was able grab Owens by his hair and pull him down into
a small package! Dragon got a long two count, but Owens kicked out. Both men
stumbled to their feet, and Dragon dropped Owens with a Flatliner before locking
on the Dragon's Breath! Owens was nearly choked out completely, until Owens
was finally able to fight his way to his feet, and use his last bit of energy
to slip out of the hold, behind Dragon, and drop him into an Inverted powerbomb.
Both men lied prone for a while, but amazingly they both clammored to their
feet at the same time. They locked up once more, and Owens went for a Sky High,
but Dragon slipped out of it, caught Owens in the gut with a knee, and then
put him in position for a double arm DDT. Instead, Dragon lifted him onto his
shoulders, spun around, and slammed Owens down facefirst! Owens hit hard, and
bounced over to his back. Black Dragon slowly began the ascent to the top of
the cage, as the crowd roared. He got to the top corner, but instead of climbing
down the other side, he pointed to the sky and leapt off into a HUGE moonsault!
Dragon slammed into Owens', and both men laid prone as the ref counted three!
A-Your winner, and NEW American Wrestling Alliance Featherweight Champion....Black
Dragon!!
(Dragon stumbles to the back, belt over his shoulder, as Owens is helped out
by the referee. the cage is raised.)
FJ-Wow, that was possibly the best cage match I've ever seen.
HS-You're right, but now we've got our double title defense!
A-Introducing first....weighing in at 226 pounds.... Lead to the ring by Hefe
Hart.... he is our AWA TV Champion.... Lars Fredrickson!
(A sped up version of "Real American" is cued, and The Larster comes
to the ring with Hefe in tow. He does his normal Larster act, and strums the
belt a few times, before handing it over to the ref.)
A-And his opponent.... He is the AWA US Heavyweight Champion.... weighing in
at 256 pounds...Weston Steel!
("Dukes of hazzard" is cued, and Steel comes out to a moderate pop.
He heads to the ring, drops the belt, and slides in. Lars and Steel begin trading
blows, but Steel's are far more effecting. He drops Lars three times, with three
punches, before Lars rolls out of the ring and stalls. Lars slid back into the
ring, and was immediatly dropped with a spinebuster! Steel lifted Lars' prone
body again, and drove him into the mat with a Jackhammer! The crowd was getting
excited, until Hefe tried to throw in the TV Title to Lars. The ref saw it and
caught it however, and Steel grabbed for the belt, which sparked an arguement
between the referee and Steel. As they argued, Hefe slipped Lars the US Title,
and as the ref put away the TV Title, Lars clocked Steel with the gold! He tossed
the belt out of the ring and quickly climbed to the top rope and nailed the
7 Years Down, hooked the leg, and got the pinfall in a short 3 minutes and 20
seconds.)
A-Your Winner....and NEW AWA US Champion... Lars Fredrickson!
(The celebration for The Larster and Hefe Hart continues in the ring, he calms
himself down after a few minutes and asks for a mic.)
The Larster: Ive done it, Ive finally done it. I am now not only
the first ever double champ in AWA history, but I have now been with this company
longer than anyone in the back. Steele (points to his body on the ground) is
nothing anymore, The Larster just ended yet another career, and this time...it
feels GREAT! HA HA! Tonight is an end of an era with Steele, and the beginning
of the newest dominating force in this business today...Tonight is the beginning
of my legacy, tonight Id like to introduce you to a new stable...
(The Larster rips off his Lars-A-Mania shirt to reveal a black
shirt with white lettering that reads: oWn and under that My
oWn Stable. The Larster grabs the mic again, and continues.)
The Larster: Thats right kiddies, your idol has started his oWn
stable, and let me introduce you to the members (The Larster motions towards
the entrance way, then after a minute with no one stepping through, continues
with his speech) Well, actually, there arent any members besides me. There
in fact is no one in the back that I would even consider offering into the oWn...not
even you Mouth Of The South West. (Hefe Harts mouth suddenly
drops) But its okay Hart, you can still follow around your idol where
ever he goes. From now on, Lars-A-Mania is dead! All of the Lars-A-Maniacs out
there will just have to eat there vitamins and say there prayers without the
guidance of The Larster. Instead, with this new era arising, you people, my
adoring fans, can all refer to me as Lower East Side Fredrickson...I
guess all thats left to do now is get garbage thrown at me, and spray
paint Steele.
(Lower East Side Fredrickson gets a spray can from Hefe Hart, he
gives Steele a few more kicks for good measure, and pure pleasure then turns
him over on his back, and spray paints oWn. He grabs his Television
Belt, and then his newly won United States belt, places one on each shoulder
and exits the ring to some major heat from the crowd.)
FJ-Oh god.... We've had some terrible stables in this company...but..
HS-Let's just drop it.... We've got a main event to get to....
A-Introducing first... weighing in at 315 pounds... Sabotage!!!
("Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys is cued, and Sabotage walks to the
ring with a purpose.)
A-And his opponent...weighing in at 230 pounds.... He is the AWA World Heavyweight
Champion.... Theoren Spencer!
("Desert Rain" by Iced Earth is cued, but Spencer doesn't show up
for a while. Finally, after getting introduced a second time, a dirty, unwashed
Spencer stumbles to the ring. He rolls in, and is immediatly pounced on by Sabotage.
Sabotage batters him with his big forearms, and Spencer doesn't even try to
fight back. Sabotage scoop slams him, then hits a falling headbutt. Spencer
lies prone, and Sabotage begins to yell that he can win any time he wants. He
turns around, Spencer is standing. Sabotage immediatly clotheslines him to the
ground, and begins to taunt the crowd again. Spencer gets up again, though,
and when Sabotage turns around, he catches a running football kick to the groin!
Sabotage goes down hard, and Spencer immediatly begins choking the downed giant.
The ref breaks the hold, but Spencer locks it back on again. The ref seperates
the two, and Sabotage stumbles to his feet, only to catch a jumping swinging
DDT! Sabotage is rocked, and Spencer immediatly lifts the giant into the Rush
to Judgement! Instead of a pinfall, however, Spencer begins choking out Sabotage
again! The referee tried to break them up, but then Spencer nailed the ref with
Rush to Judgement, and locked on the Adjucation on the referee! He held it on
for nearly a minute, until another referee tried to break it up. Suddenly, Spencer
snapped out of it, and realized what he had done. He stared at the downed ref,
shocked, before turning around and walking right into a double-handed chokeslam
from Sabotage! Sabotage made the pin, and the new ref made a fast three count!
The crowd began throwing cups in the ring, as Sabotage strutted with his belt.
He didn't notice Spencer slowly rise from the mat, a cold look in his eye. Spencer
then attacked Sabotage from behind, and began beating him with the belt. The
new referee tried to stop it, but Spencer just glared at the new ref, and hit
him with the Rush to Judgement! He then rolled Sabotage on the ref, and hit
a springboard moonsault on both of them! The PPV closes as an insane Spencer
skulks to the back...)
