AWA KING OF THE KAGE HOUSE SHOW, June 15, 2007, Atlanta, GA, Olympic Arena
(The entire population of the nearly sold out Olympic Arena in Atlanta is on their feet ready for some exciting AWA House Show action. Many loyal fans hold up signs in support of their stars such as 'Evan Heir Is Undisputed', 'Damage Inc Are Undisputed', 'Adam C Might Be Undisputed', and also a more retroactive, 'RIP "Sensational" Sherri'. AWA's resident ring announcer is ready to go in the ring tonight, microphone in hand.)
RING ANNOUNCER: "Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you for joining us tonight for another exciting evening of live American Wrestling Alliance action. We have one helluva card planned for you folks, including the Main Event when Brian Stevens' defends his World Championship against Preston Alway right here in Atlanta Georgia!"
(The announcer waits for the fans to die down at the mention of their great city.)
RA: "Also on the lineup for you tonight, two former World Champions and long-time rivals, Snake and Hall Of Famer John Williams will square off once more in their illustrious careers. That should prove to be another brutal battle between the two bitter enemies. But, up first, we have one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Sigifrith, taking on former Cruiserweight Champion, 'The Dragon' Mark Cross. So, without further ado, INTRODUCING FIRST... from Herne Bay, England, fighting out of Tokyo, Japan, standing six feet one inch and weighing in at two hundred fifteen pounds he is THE DRAGON: MMMMMAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRK CRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSS!"
('Lift Me Up' by Moby hit's the sound system and out comes Cross to a quite audible ovation from the crowd. He makes his way to the ring before Danzig's 'Mother' booms over the P.A. Out lumbers the monster powerhouse, Sigifrith, to staunch boos from the fans.)
RA:"And his opponent, at a staggering six feet eleven inches tall, tipping the scales at three hundred pounds, he is the Monster from Munster, PESTILENCE.... SSSSSIIIIIGGGGGIIIIIIFFFRRRRIIIIITH!"

(The match begins and right away the monster begins overpowering the much smaller Cross. Sigifrith dominates the match early, nailing several haymakers, two monstrous clotheslines, and to top it all off, a brutal powerslam. But Cross manages to kick out of an early pin, despite the assault. Sigifrith spouts in German loudly at the referee, allowing Cross to regain some composure and get to his feet. As soon as Sigifrith turns around, Cross unleashes a barrage of strong style attacks: knees, chops, punches, palm thrusts; until the behemoth is staggered into the corner in a daze. Cross refuses to relent his assault, not allowing Sigifrith to gain any measure of composure, following up his previous assault with a DDT out of the corner. Cross stands up onto the second turnbuckle and waits for Sigifrith to hit his feet. As soon as he does, Cross leaps up and grabs Sigifrith around the neck with his legs, quickly bringing him down to the mat with a triangle choke locked in. Cross holds the move in for several moments, and Sigifrith begins to fade. However, the big man refuses to pass out, causing Cross to release the move in some frustration. Cross pulls the big man to his feet, ready to set him up for a finisher, but Sigifrith elbows Cross in the gut and then launches himself from his knees, grasping both his massive hands around Cross's throat. Cross blocks the move, however, and tries to whip Sigifrith across the ring. Sigifrith counters the whip and as Cross recoils, he unloads with an earth-shattering clothesline... that doesn't connect. Cross hits the opposite ropes, having ducked the move, and unloads with a huge spear on the unsuspecting Sigifrith. Cross quickl hooks Sigifrith's legs from the mat for the pinfall.)

RA: "Your winner... MARK CROSS! What an impressive victory from The Dragon. But, as they say, the show must go on, and up next we have a much anticipated contest between two heated rivals. Introducing first, from Pismo Beach, California, standing six feet six inches and weighing in a two hundred and seventy five pounds, the man... the myth... the monster... SSSSSNNNNNAAAAKE!"
(Saliva's 'Survival of the Sickest' blares over the P.A. as Snake makes his way to the ring to a decidedly mixed reaction. Snake is unaccompanied by Faith tonight. After his music dies down, Snake anxiously awaits his opponent, who comes to the ring corraled by the Lynard Skynard classic 'Freebird'. The southern crowd really enjoys the mantra, some even going so far as to flip open their cell phones and sway it to the music.)
RA: "And his opponent, he is an AWA Hall of Fame member, standing six feet five inches and weighing in at two hundred thirty five pounds, he is THE ICON... JOOOOOOOOOOHHNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN WWWWWWIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMS!"

(The match begins in a relative stalemate, with both men feeling the other out, despite their many battles. It's clear the two respect what the other is capable of. Snake is the first to attack, shaking things up with a back elbow to William's jaw, a pair of knees to his gut, and then a wicked uppercut that sends him to the mat. Williams hits his feet in time to narrowly avoid a running clothesline from Snake, which he ducks and counters into a backslide. Snake kicks out at two. The two begin to feel one another out again, this time with Williams goading Snake into a finger lock. Snake obliges, only to immediatly send a boot to Williams' gut rather than engage in a test of strength. Snake suplex's Williams, then pulls him to his feet and whips him into the turnbuckle. Snake lunges several shoulders into Williams' chest, causing him to fall onto his face once the barrage has ended. Snake quickly ascends the turnbuckle and goes for a flying lariat, but Williams counters it with a mid-air punch to Snake's gut. He lands a belly to belly suplex as soon as Snake lands on his feet. Williams pulls Snake up and proceeds to go on an offensive barrage of strikes, ending the exchange with a leg lariat which sends Snake back down. Williams then attempts to apply an Omaplata, but Snake blocks the move with his hands, before sticking out his legs to draw a rope break. At this point, Snake promptly rolls out of the ring to try and clear his head. Williams gives chase, only to be caught off gaurd by Snake as soon as he hits the mat outside. Snake drives Williams' back into the side of the ring with shoulder lunges. He then whips him hard into the steel railing. Snake then situates Williams against the ring steps before aiming a boot to William's head, attempting to crush it into the cold, unforgiving steel. Thankfully for the Icon, he moved out of the way at the last moment, causing Snake to connect with just the top half of the stairs, sending them off their bracket and onto the mat with a loud CLANK! In the confusion, Williams is able to grab Snake and get a measure of revenge by whipping him into the barricade. He then slams Snake's face into the top of the barricade before guiding him towards the ring and rolling him in. Williams goes for a springboard clothesilne, but Snake punches Williams' in the gut this time to counter. Snake then locks in a bearhug. Williams is very close to tapping before fighting his way out with some hard punches to Snake's head. Williams immediatly hits the ropes to nail a big move, but Snake snaps out of it and lands a huge big boot that knocks Williams out cold. Snake then pulls Williams to his feet and onto his shoulders, setting up the Injection. But to the amazement of everyone in attendance, when Snake heaves Williams' off his shoulders, the Icon extends out his leg and he catches Snake around the throat. Williams' weight pulls the unsuspecting Snake to the mat where he is forced to Hush, and then tap out.)

RA: "The winner of this match, by submission, JOHN WILLIAMS! A very well earned victory by the Icon tonight, let's give him a round of applause. OK, and it's now time for the main event of the evening. The AWA World Championship WILL be on the line. Introducing first, the challenger, he hails from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he weighs two hundred and thirty one pounds and stands six feet one inch tall, the master of OMGWTFOW3NED, PRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSTOOOOOONNNNNNNN AAAALLLLLLLLLLLLWAAAAAYYYYY!"
(Alway looks intense as he makes his way to the ring with 'No Leaf Clover' blaring in the background. He poses in the ring for a bit before his music is replaced by Thursday's 'Jet Black New Year'. Instantaneously, thunderous boos rain down on the ring as the World Champion, Brian Stevens, emerges from the back, his title draped over his shoulder and looking arrogant as ever. He takes his place in the ring, poses with his title, before reluctantly handing it over to the referee.)
RA: "And introducing, at six feet two inches and two hundred forty pounds, hailing from Saint Paul, Minnesota, he is the AWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION... BRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIAAAANNNNNNNNN SSSSSSTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNSSSS!"

(Before the bells are finished, Stevens unloads on Alway with various MMA styles strikes catching him completly off gaurd. Alway is dazed and confused, even moreso when Stevens concludes his barrage with an Enziguri. Alway's eyes roll up into his head as he tries to get his bearings, crawling on all fours. This allows Stevens to unload with several Ultimate Knee Strikes, the third one literally knocking Alway unconcious. The referee steps between Stevens and Alway, calling the match off, and Stevens the winner by knock-out.)

RA: "Your winner, by knock..."
(The boos drown out the ring announcer to the point where he is completly inaudible. But that doesn't stop the ruthless Brian Stevens from picking up the nearly lifeless body of Alway and applying now famous front guillatine choke. Stevens forces the referee to ring the bell once more.)

(Stevens drops Alway's lifeless body to the mat, turning to leave, when suddenly the boos turn to abrupt cheers. SMACK! Stevens gets nailed in his kidneys with nothing other than an umbrella. The now famous umbrella belongs to the new Cruiserweight Champion, Evan Heir, who follows the attack up with a vicious Super Kick that sends Stevens out cold. Heir quickly exits the ring to cheers, leaving both Alway and Stevens out in the ring.)
